Wendy, Gildarts, Charla, Lily, and Kiara, all fell into the deep and dark crevice as they are alive even after such a fall. The group are on a rock cliff as the first to wake up is Gildarts who sat up while placing a hand to his forehead. The Crash mage rubs his forehead before he looks around and sees the pure darkness surrounding, yet there was some light shining down from above.
"we fell into the crevice.." said Gildarts as he looks above before around. "but we're alive, huh?"
Soon, Wendy and the others woke up as they groaned a bit in pain after the fall.
"you guys, alright?" said Gildarts to the others as they responded with a head nod.
"we're alive even after falling so deeply?" said Lily as he looks around before above.
"I'm surprised that's your first question" said Charla while standing up.
"it's so dark here" said Wendy as the walls are shadowed and dark, the only source of light is above and is very dimly lighting the area.
"I guess we should look around" said Gildarts as he checks each side of the dark walls. "try to find Natsu if he's here or even the fruit itself"
"are you crazy? We can barely even see each other with how the place is so dark!" said Charla as the crevice is so dark that the blackness is spooking her.
Before anyone could say a word back to Charla, everyone heard a loud roar before a flash of red light that zooms pass the group and an explosion on a wall nearby.
"what was that!?" exclaimed Lily as shattered rocks started to fall nearby.
The roar continued as another flash of red light occurred, this time a laser came by, nearly hitting the group.
"a laser?!" said Charla before the ground that the laser hit, suddenly explodes.
"that was just like…" said Wendy, remembering the red energy beam that Natsu fires when he transforms into his demonic form.
"it came from that way" said Gildarts, looking at the direction of where the laser came from. "my guess is that Natsu might be there"
"or something else" added Lily before the sound of bone rattling and crackling is heard from above as everyone looks up and sees dozens of Genju on the walls, all just looking down at the group.
"G-Genju?!" said Wendy while gasping to see the numbers of Genju.
"there's so many of them!" said Charla while taking a step back.
"we've fallen into their nest, and we're outnumbered!" added Lily while drawing out his sword on his back as the Genju started climbing down the walls. Everyone huddled up as the Genju surrounded them in a circle.
Gildarts eyed each of the Genju as he is prepared to fight them barehanded if they attack.
The Genju surrounds the group as they just stand at their places while looking at them.
"t-they're not attacking?" said Charla while Kiara squealed.
"this makes it stranger…when I, with Gajeel and Levy came, they were ferocious in attacking us at the village, where we were temporarily resting at" said Lily while wielding his sword with both hands.
Wendy looks a the Genju before her eyes widen and she made a surprised noise.
"what's wrong?" said Gildarts, hearing Wendy's surprised noise.
"they….they're talking.." said Wendy with a surprised face.
"who is?" said Lily.
"them" replied Wendy as she looks at a nearby Genju whose demonic mask resembles that of a small child. "the Genju…they're talking to me.."
"what?!" said Charla in surprise.
"are you sure, Wendy?" said Gildarts to Wendy who nodded.
"rather than they're talking to me, I can hear their voices…it's small but I can hear them" said Wendy as she slowly walks towards a nearby Genju while its allies turns to look at her.
"wait, Wendy! You might just be hearing things!" exclaimed Charla, worried for Wendy's sake.
Wendy stands in front of the Genju as the black creature looks at her before nodding its head.
"it nodded?" said Lily as Wendy nodded back.
"he said thank you for hearing their voices" said Wendy as the other Genju started to back away while one stayed in its place. "it's been years since they had someone who is able to hear their voices"
"is she being serious?" asked Gildarts before looking at Kiara who climbed up and rides on Wendy's shoulder.
Kiara squeals as Wendy looks at Kiara before to the Genju who nodded and points a hand to the dark side of the crevice.
"what did he say, Wendy?" asked Lily as Wendy nodded.
"he said that if we are looking for Natsu-san, they can lead us to him" said Wendy as this surprised the group. "they've been waiting for a friend of Natsu to come and help him get the Jinmenju fruit"
"so it grows here?" said Lily before they see the Genju picking Wendy up.
"hey! What are you doing?!" exclaimed Charla.
"it's alright, Charla" said Wendy as she rides on the Genju's back. "he said that the place where Natsu-san is right now, it's a very deep place that we might have trouble reaching"
"so, they're going to give us a ride?" said Lily before several genju picked Gildarts, Charla, and himself up. "waah!?"
"please hang on tight" said Wendy as the Genju started to walk down the rock cliff and deeper down the crevice where the darkness started to get even blacker than before.
Meanwhile at the edge of the Darkness Island; Lucy, Cana, and Elfman are running to the direction of the Fire Island that is the nearest island to them while being chased by some Lingyue soldiers.
"just how many of them are there on this island?!" exclaimed Cana as she takes out some cards from her kimono and then throws them away. The cards flew in the air before they flash and cause several chain explosions that blew some soldiers away.
"I can see the shore!" exclaimed Elfman as they are reaching the beach area of the Darkness Island.
"guys! How do we get to that island!? It's nearly 100 miles away from this island!" said Lucy as they had no boat nor large Pop Fox to get them there.
"don't you have a Water Celestial Spirit or something, Lucy?!" said Elfman as Lucy takes out her Celestial Spirit Keys before picking out Aquarius Celestial Spirit Key.
"I do!" said Lucy before an arrow flies by and takes her keys away. "Ahhhhh! My keys!"
More arrows started to come flying at the group as the soldiers were firing at them.
"first soldiers with spears now arrows?! Give us a break!" shouted Cana as she takes out more cards and throws them at the soldiers.
"guys! At front!" exclaimed Elfman as soldiers came charging in front of the shore and surrounds them in a large circle "we're surrounded!"
"damnit!" Cana curses as the three pressed their backs against each other, the card mage reaches into her kimono as she pulls out several cards while Elfman transforms himself into his Beast Soul, Lucy however shakes in fear as without her keys, she can't use her magic.
"what do we do?" said Elfman as he gritted his teeth. "we can't go anywhere with these guys blocking the way"
"we got to think of something, I'm down to my defensive cards" said Cana while eying each soldiers who were trying to get close to them.
"and I'm down to nothing!" said Lucy as she doesn't have her keys, nor did she brought her whip with her, but the blonde mage soon got an idea as she reached inside her kimono and takes out the Genbu of the South Sky's Celestial Gem. "but I still have this!"
"the Genbu of the South Sky's Celestial Gem? Lucy, you think you can call the Guardian Beast with it?" said Elfman while looking at Lucy. "Levy said that only a Lingyue native chosen by the guardian beast can summon them!"
"the Celestial Gem works like my Celestial Spirit Keys, if the principles are the same, I can at least make a temporary contract with one of them!" said Lucy while holding the gem in her right hand.
"are you sure you can? What if it doesn't heed your call?!" said Cana as the soldiers surrounding them were getting awfully closer to them.
"leave it to me!" said Lucy as she clenched her hold on the gem in her grasp. "opening gates is what a Celestial Spirit mage do best!"
The gem in her grasp glows an orangeish yellow light as Lucy lifted her right hand up and chanted. "I am linked to the path to the world of Celestial Spirits! Now! O Spirit, answer my call and pass through the Gate!" as she chanted, the ground bellow the group suddenly shines as a yellow magic circle with Lingyue symbols appeared.
"she's doing it!" said Cana with a grin as the summoning is undergoing.
"alright, Lucy! You're the man!" shouted Elfman.
"I summon you! Genbu of the South Sky!" Lucy continued the chant as the sky suddenly darkens and a large brown magic circle appeared. The soldiers nearby gasped in shock as they started backing away in fear of the group summoning the Guardian Beast of Lingyue.
A bright flash soon exploded from the sky and a pillar of light shines down upon Lucy and the others. A few minutes passed as the pillar of light soon disappeared and everyone opened their eyes.
"who summoned me?" a voice spoke out as some smoke covered the field near Lucy and the others.
"could it be!?" "they managed to summon Genbu-sama!?" "how is that possible?!" the soldiers started to gossip around while backing away, frightened.
"look at that! they started cowering in fear!" said Cana with a grin.
"you rock, Lucy!" said Elfman. "you're the man!"
"I'm a woman, though…but I don't care right now!" said Lucy before looking to the sky. "please, Genbu of the South Sky! We need your help!"
"like I stated before, who summoned me?" said the voice again as the smoke in the field cleared, revealing a turtle man who looks old and has a long white beard while holding a staff, in addition wearing a monk like outfit. "who summoned me?"
Lucy, Cana, and Elfman jawdropped as to see the legendary Guardian Beast being an old turtle hermit like individual.
"eeeeh?!" screamed Lucy and the others in pure shock.
"what's with all the screaming? rude youngsters these days" said the turtle hermit as he is the Guardian Beast of the Earth Island, Genbu of the South Sky. Genbu looks around as he sees the soldiers and the surrounding area. "what is the meaning of this? This is Tengu's island, why was I summoned here?"
"that's a question that we want to ask!" exclaimed Elfman. "I thought you'd be a large Turtle or something!"
"I am a Tortoise not a turtle" said Genbu to Elfman. "and who are you? You do not seem to be a native born of Lingyue"
"is this really one of the Guardian Beast of Lingyue?" asked Cana to Lucy who looks confused as them.
"I don't know, I thought they'd be different from my Celestial Spirit in a bit like how Draco looks like a real dragon and all" said Lucy as the two looks at Genbu who knocks Elfman's head with his staff, the large man grunting in pain as the staff hits his head pretty hard. "but he looks like some turtle hermit"
"where is Daichi? He is the one I chosen to have my Celestial gem, yet I do not see him" said Genbu as he looks around for Daichi then to Lucy and the others. "who had summoned me?"
"u-uh..it's me?" said Lucy while raising a hand up as Genbu looks at her with squinted eyes.
"a Celestial Spirit Mage of Ishgar, huh? It is no wonder you are able to summon me" said Genbu as he sighs before slowly sitting down on the sandy beach. "no wonder I have felt a different force summoning me here"
"what do we do?" "that's Genbu!" "but he doesn't seem like the Genbu at all" "could he be an impostor?" the soldiers whispered to each other as they don't know if they should attack or not since Genbu has been summoned and all.
"impostor?" said Genbu as his head turns 180 degrees to look at the soldier who said that he's an impostor. "which one of you said that!?"
"n-no! I was merely speaking my word!" the one soldier in the group stated while in fright. "i-it's just that you're not your usual size, that's all!"
"not my usual size, you say!?" said Genbu in anger as his two eyes glows brown before the turtle man's body started to flash and grew large. Genbu now became a large tortoise which is nearly the size of the island itself while having large rock like spikes on the back of his shell.
"is this enough proof for you!?" bellowed Genbu while looking at the soldier who said that he's not his usual size, the soldier now pissed his pants and fainted.
"h-h-he's huge!" said Elfman with pure shock and surprise.
"he's big as an island!" exclaimed Cana as she took a step back from the large tortoise.
"t-this is his real form!? The real form of Genbu of the South Sky?!" muttered Lucy as Genbu let out steam from his nostrils.
"r-retreat!" screamed a soldier as the rest ran away from the large tortoise.
Genbu looks at the fleeing soldiers before the large tortoise glows and shrank back to his small size.
"I have not been summoned for 13 years, and they suspect me of being an impostor" said Genbu while holding his staff. "I've protected Lingyue and my island for centuries! You ungrateful brats have to pay respect to me!"
"t-this turtle guy…..he's not someone we want to piss off" said Elfman as Cana and Lucy nodded before Genbu turns his attention to them which surprised them a bit. Genbu looks at them with hard eyes as Lucy and the others gulp nervously before the turtle hermit tilt his head to the side.
"who are you people?" said Genbu as Lucy and the others made a confused noise. Genbu looks around before to them. "who are you people? And where is Daichi?"
"d-don't tell me.." said Lucy with an awkward face. "short term memory lost?"
"who summoned me?" said Genbu while scratching his long beard. "I feel like I was doing something when I was summoned here, but what was it?"
"he doesn't remember that he became an island size tortoise anymore?" said Elfman with a sweatdrop behind his head.
"he does look like an old man" added Cana as Genbu might be very old that he has memory problems.
"who summoned me here? Daichi isn't even here with these three" said Genbu before a spark of revelation went through his mind as this made the turtle hermit's eyes widen and his hold on his staff tightens. "to think…the time has come already…."
"eh? What's wrong?" asked Lucy before Genbu slammed his staff on the sandy beach as the ground shakes. "waaaah!"
"what's going on!?" said Cana in surprise as the sand rises up before revealing a rock surface that rises up with them on it, the rock floating in the air before it started flying to the Fire island.
"we're heading to the Fire island!" said Elfman, in seeing the direction of where they are flying to.
"Genbu-san, are you taking us to Fire Island!?" said Lucy to Genbu who looks in front for he is controlling the rock itself.
"We must stop this madness at all cost!" said Genbu with a serious yet worried face. "the Lingyue moon is coming!"
Meanwhile at the Water General Palace, the battle between Ayame and Kazane is reaching its highest peak for the two Generals had destroyed the palace and continued their battle upon the town itself.
A twister rages in the town as Kazane rides the wind of the twister that is headed to Ayame who stood on a house's roof before she swung her staff to the front, summoning tree roots out of the ground that strikes at Kazane who swung her fan, firing air slashes in return.
The two General's attack collided, causing an explosion of air and wood splinters to fly everywhere.
Kazane landed on a house roof as she waved her War fans around before standing in a stance and faces Ayame who stood on the other side of another house's roof.
Ayame huffs her breathing as she has been battling Kazane for a long period that her energy is tiring out.
"out of breath, Ayame? You seem tired" said Kazane as she waves her fans around before holding one of her war fans in front of her mouth. "my War Fans, Rankiryu does not need tiresome movements to be utilized of its power, unlike your Rujinnen Poru which needs endless amount of your chi and stamina to be used"
"as always" said Ayame as she wields her staff by her side. "you are always the type to brag of your superiority to others, Kazane"
"ara, I seem not to brag, but proof of my superiority" said Kazane with a smile while giggling. "I am one of the Four Generals who posses one of the four mightiest Kagejun and one of the Four Great Guardian Beast's Celestial Gems while you only posses the Monkey King Enra's Celestial Gem, no? the moment of your betrayal came to light, the moment of your defeat is coming soon"
"I always knew that Mizuki would be the understanding one, while you? You're nothing of open hearted" said Ayame with a glare at Kazane who has a dark look in return.
"I see" said Kazane as she closed both her war fans and made them disappear into her kimono's sleeves. "then, it seems that you must be rid of for the Emperor" Kazane hold up her left hand as in her grasp is Byakko of the West Sky's Celestial Gem that glows green.
"are you mad, Kazane? Summoning one of Lingyue Guardian Beast just for this battle!?" said Ayame with a worried look. "when will you realize that the Emperor is a fake!"
"I would not worry about that right now, Ayame" said Kazane as the sky above the island darkens before a twister came from above and down to the town, destroying some houses. Within the twister appeared two glowing red eyes as a loud tiger roar is heard.
Ayame shielded her eyes as the twister dispersed before revealing a large white tiger that has a whirlwind like scarf surrounding its neck. Kazane flies up as she landed on the large Tiger's head, the large white tiger that she has summoned is Byakko of the West Sky.
"curse you, Kazane" said Ayame as she did several hand signs with her hands before slapping her hands loudly. "forgive me, people of Fairy Tail. But I need to borrow the power of Enra-sama"
In the Tenko, Lisanna is helping Levy in looking on some scrolls that contain information on the revival ritual as they also planned to prepare to revive Haruo back. The two were just finding more information on the ritual when they noticed that the Monkey King; Enra's Celestial Gem is glowing on the metal bowl before it disappeared.
"it disappeared?!" said Lisanna and Levy in unison and in surprise.
The Monkey King Enra's gem appeared floating in front of Ayame who grabs it before doing several more handsigns, the gem glows brown in her grasp before a pillar of light rises beside her.
"another squabble with Kazane, I see" said a voice as the pillar of light disappears and Monkey King; Enra appeared beside Ayame. The Monkey King; Enra has the appearance of a mountain monkey but in a humanoid form, his fur is brown in color, Enma wears a black suit with mesh armour underneath, over which he wears a sleeveless kimono shirt with brown fur trimmings which is held closed by a red sash. Enma's long brown tail holds a scroll at the end while the monkey man has a staff stored on his back.
"when will both of you learn that summoning us against one another is not going to solve any problem?" asked Enra to Ayame while crossing his arms.
"this is not the situation right now, Enra-sama" said Ayame as Enra raises an eyebrow before his eyes widen, the Monkey King turns towards Kazane with a serious face.
"I see. Today is the day of Lingyue's Moon to come? Has it been 4 centuries already?" said Enra as Ayame nodded before she did several hand signs.
"please, Enra-sama! Lend me your strength!" said Ayame as Enra nodded.
"as you wish!" said Enra as he did several hand signs alongside Ayame before both slammed their right hand down on the roof tile.
"Shinko Rin!" both shouted in unison as trees rises out of the ground before a forest appears upon the town. Ayame and Enra jumps as they landed on top of some trees, both facing Kazane and Byakko together.
"another foolish squabble" said Byakko as the White Tiger Spirit sounded annoyed before his eyes widen. "Lingyue moon…could it be…"
"let's go, Byakko" said Kazane with a dark look as air like black markings started to spread all over her neck up to her face.
"Kazane…you" said Byakko, looking at its summoner.
"seems like Byakko realized it too" said Enra as Ayame nodded before both did more hand signs. "Ayame! We have to take her down! Do not give mercy!"
"yes!" replied Ayame before both her and Enra did an exact hand sign in unison.
"Ninpo: Juujin Henge!" both chanted in unison as Enra exploded into a puff of smoke before a large white monkey covered in battle armor and wields a large staff while having the same size as Byakko appeared out of the smoke. "Son Goku!"
the large monkey lets out a screech at Kazane whose face is getting covered in black markings while having bones forming around her eyes in the shape of a tiger's skull.
Upon the Lightning General's island, Laxus stood in the middle of the town as every house around him was destroyed.
Laxus stood in his place as his eyes glance around for shadows were moving around him.
"talk about an annoying woman" said Laxus as the shadows spreads around before Yamika appears above the Lightning Mage.
"Yami no Mai" Yamika leans her hands forward as endless amount of shurikens came falling out of her kimono sleeves and rains upon Laxus. Laxus hardened his gaze as lightning covers his whole body before the mage jumps into the air, dodging the rains of Shuriken while going after Yamika who did several hand signs and took a deep breath. "Kuroki Baku" she muttered out before Yamika blows out smoke from her mouth.
"smoke?" said Laxus as the smoke engulfed him. flashes of electricity started to occur in the smoke as shadows of Laxus and Yamika fighting against one another keep occurring before both jumped out of the smoke.
Laxus huffs his breathing as he got some bleeding cut wounds on his shoulders and hands while Yamika has some tears on her kimono.
"impressive, you are the first to survive my Kuroki Baku Silent Dance" said Yamika to Laxus before keening her eyes. "you seemed to have a similar ability with that of Daimou's Fire"
"if you're talking about my magic, I have a Dragon Slayer Lacrima inside me" said Laxus while wiping off some blood on his cheeks. "you can say that our magic is from the same branch but different types"
"I don't understand the concept of your Ishgarian Magic, but here in Lingyue we call them abilities if you may" said Yamika as she did several more hand signs before slapping her hands together. "for example…the ability to control shadows like mine"
The shadow bellow Yamika suddenly spreads as they went straight for Laxus who jumped but the shadows rises out of the ground and to the air to get him.
"what?!" said Laxus as he dodged a shadow strike, but another shadow strikes his side, cutting his skin and drawing out blood.
"as long as there is a shadow, you cannot escape nor you can win" said Yamika with a dark look as she did more hand signs before waving her hands to the side, equipping Shuriken in her grasp before throwing them at Laxus who fired a bolt of lightning at the incoming projectiles. Yamika smirks slightly as her shuriken absorbed the lightning's electricity before spinning even faster towards him.
"they absorbed my lightning!?" said Laxus before he gets overcome by the rains of shurikens. "Gaaah!"
Laxus crashed to a broken house as it crumbles down upon his crash.
"the 8 General's Weapons, the Kagejun. They are made of a rare ore only found in Lingyue, this ore absorb Ethernano particles which is the base of your Ishgarian magic" said Yamika as she slowly approached Laxus who got up from his crash, his whole body bleeding from Yamika's shurikens. "our weapons are the natural enemies against mages like you. None of you can win against us"
"oh yeah?" said Laxus while wiping off some blood on his face before smirking. "you sure are confident enough to get so close to me"
"what?" said Yamika while raising an eyebrow before she hears thunder above. She looks up and sees a storm before lightning strikes down on her. "aaaahhh!"
"my magic is thunder magic, I can control and fire lightning not from my body but from the sky itself" said Laxus with a smirk as Yamika staggers back while grunting in pain from the lightning strike. "your weapons absorb magic, right? But it can't absorb something from nature, can it?"
"y-you!" grunted Yamika while glaring at Laxus as the man stands up before he lifted his right fist that is covered in electricity.
"now…" said Laxus while smirking. "where were we?"
Yamika glares at Laxus as her eyes glows black before black marking swirls up from her neck up to her cheeks
At the wind General's palace. The building's roof is destroyed in a large black explosion as rubble and debris started to fall.
Mira stood on the wrecked up dojo as her Satan Soul had come undone, the Majin is exhausted of stamina and her magic while Mizuki is lying on a pile of rubble, her Naginata a few feet away from her.
"you Generals…are such a pain!" said Mira while wiping off some dirt on her face. "don't you guys know!? Your Emperor or whoever he is, is a god damn fake! Just kidnapping Ikaruga and the others just because you were ordered to?! How stupid!"
"will you…just shut up?" said Mizuki while grunting in pain as Mira beat her up pretty good. The Water General sat up as she holds her bruised side that is caused by Mira. "you Ishgarian Mage don't know an act when you see one or something?"
"an act?" said Mira with a confused face before her eyes widen. "does that mean!?"
"that's right" said Mizuki while standing up. "I'm part of the rebellion, but I am an undercover spy in the Emperor's Palace"
"then why the hell the pain of fighting in the first place?!" said Mira, frustrated and angry. "you got me wet so many times with your water attacks!"
"it's called an act for a reason! If the Emperor realizes that there's more than one traitor in the 8 Generals, he might as well call soldiers to get rid of us in the first place!" said Mizuki with an annoyed look as she sighs. "I can't believe that Daimou has such stupid allies in Ishgar"
"who are you calling stupid?!" shouted Mira before a blue dolphin head shaped Gem flew right at her as the Majin caught it. "this is?"
"it's Seiocho-sama's Celestial Gem, take it" said Mizuki as she went and picks up her Naginata before looking at Mira. "go and get it to Tenko. There's only 6 hours left before midnight comes. If you are late by a second, the revival ritual will be invalid and Haruo-sama won't be revived"
"how'd you know that?" said Mira to Mizuki.
"I'm an undercover spy who also knows of the rebellion, how'd you think I know that much?" said Mizuki while sighing. "I wished that Ayame is the one who I faced in the first place"
Before long dozens of Lingyue soldiers and individuals wearing black ninja like clothings appeared as they surround the two.
"another one of your acting, Mizuki?" said Mira while glaring at a few soldiers.
"does it look like an act?" said Mizuki while wielding her naginata with both hands. "the Emperor must've sent them here in case I wasn't able to defeat you"
"talk about a prepared Emperor" said Mira before looking at Mizuki who started doing several hand signs. "what are you doing?"
"I'll open a path for you, you need to get the gem to Tenko no matter what" said Mizuki as she did the Dragon hand sign before water burst from behind her. "Suiryu!"
The burst of water formed a water dragon that roars before striking down the nearby soldiers and ninjas.
"go! Get to Tenko while I push them back!" shouted Mizuki to Mira as her water dragon fires blast of water at the soldiers.
"I owe ya one!" said Mira as she transformed back into her Satan Soul and spreads her wings before flying into the air. "you'd better be alive when I come back!"
Mizuki scoffs while smiling at Mira before she turns her attention to the Lingyue soldiers and ninjas who charged on the attack against her.
"Ishgar has many peculiarly unique people, huh?" said Mizuki while doing several more hand signs before she slams her hands on the floor, a geyser erupted from bellow and blasted everyone away along with herself.
Wendy, Charla, Lily, Gildarts, and Kiara arrived at the very bottom of the crevice as they find some sort of temple.
"a temple? At the very bottom of this crevice?" said Gildarts as the Genju brought them there.
"seems old and a bit abandoned" noted Lily, seeing the structure of the temple.
"Wendy, ask them on what this place is" said Charla to Wendy who nodded before looking to the Genju.
Wendy looks at the Genju as she hears their small voices before nodding.
"they said that this temple belongs to the first Emperor of Lingyue and it has been here for 4 centuries" said Wendy, relaying what the Genju told her to the others. "it's also the place where the Jinmenju fruit is hidden at"
"the jinmenju fruit grows inside the temple? What a peculiar fruit" said Lily while Wendy nodded to the Genju.
"they said that the Jinmenju fruit isn't a fruit, it's actually a bottle of sake" said Wendy as this got Gildarts looking confused.
"they call a bottle of sake, a fruit? Lingyue people has some weird naming sense" said Gildarts as Wendy looks to the Genju who pointed a finger at the temple.
"they said something again?" asked Lily as Wendy nodded.
"the Genju-san said that the Temple is restricted to outsiders coming in, and the only way to be allowed in is if we are seen worthy by its guardian spirit" said Wendy, relaying what the Genju told her.
"guardian spirit? That Temple is guarded by a Spirit like how each island in Lingyue has a guardian beast?" said Lily as Wendy nodded before everyone hears a roar coming from the temple and then a red laser that fired straight out of the building.
"just what is that!?" said Charla in surprise as the laser strikes upwards and cause an explosion.
"it's Natsu-san" said Wendy as everyone sees her conversing with one Genju. "they said that Natsu-san has been in that temple for three days and hasn't come out. They only heard his roar and that laser that fired out of the temple"
"he's been in there for three days straight!?" said Gildarts before looking at the temple. "just what is going on in there?!"
Within the temple, darkness shrouded the inside of the building as within a chamber is Natsu who is wrapped in chains, the man in his demonic form. Natsu lets out a roar as blood started to come out of his demonic bone mask that is endlessly pooling below him.
In front of him lies Chitetsu, the cursed katana laid on a stone table that has a small sake bottle that is glowing a golden color.
"this is the last day, Natsu. If you don't wrap things up now, your son won't be alive no more" said Chitetsu before a dark snake like spirit appears around the chamber.
