A week later at a beach where the scenic ocean meets the sand of the ground.
Bunch of seagulls were floating on the ocean before they quickly fly away as a magic powered jet ski zooms through the ocean water.
"weee~!" squealed Haruka as she is riding the magic powered Jet ski with Lucy who drives it. The jet ski zooms through the ocean water as it just went around carrying its happy squealing occupants.
Upon the decision to enter the GMG, everyone set out in groups to train for the event as to fulfil the 7 years time gap, in order for Fairy Tail to be the number one guild once more. For this group that consists of Natsu, Ikaruga, Haruka, Haruo, and Ikki, the family are here just for relaxation and joining up Erza, Gray, Lucy, Wendy, Charla, Juvia, Levy, Jet, and Droy who are all going to train for the GMG, they set for the beach as their training camp.
For now, the group are having the vacation of their life on the first day of the training camp.
"It's been so long since we've been to the beach." Said Levy as she with Wendy are by the beach, sitting on a beach blanket under an umbrella, the Script mage and the Sky Dragon Slayer are relaxing while watching Lucy with Haruka zooms through the ocean water on the magic imbued jet ski.
"it's the best place to relax and train" added Wendy with a smile.
"I know, the air feels so nice here." Levy smiled, moving some of her hair behind her ears as the light sea breeze caressed her face.
Everyone had as much fun as they can on the first day of their training camp while for Natsu and his family, they just played and relax as much as they want.
After nearly 3 hours of playing, we turn our attention to one beach blanket covered under a big umbrella where Ikaruga is, the Pink haired mother wearing a pink swimsuit covered with a jacket around her shoulder. She is currently watching over Ikki who is napping while getting a cooling breeze from his mother who is fanning him with a paper fan. Natsu is nearby, the man wearing swimming trunks while sitting on the sand and watch Haruka with Haruo, making a sandcastle that had Kiara sitting on a sand tower.
While the family is having a great vacation, Erza was nearby as she looks at the family with a smile before she turns her attention to Jet and Droy who were sitting by a table, eating a meal, mostly for Droy.
"Jet, Droy" Erza called out to the two as they responded with food muffled 'yeah?' in unison.
"you guys said that the guild once participated for the GMG, right?" asked Erza as the two nodded. "does that mean Sabertooth is strong enough to beat even Natsu when he participated?"
"not really, Natsu didn't participate at all" said Jet after swallowing his food.
"he didn't?" said Erza as Jet and Droy nodded.
"he got his work as Master and has to care for Ikaruga and the kids." Said Droy while eating a roasted meat on a stick. "we didn't want to pressure him that much with the GMG. We would feel a bit bad for that"
"I see" said Erza before glancing at Natsu who helps Kiara getting out of the pile of sand from the fallen sandcastle that the twins built. "seems sensible for him"
The day turns to night as the moon arises upon the black sky.
Everyone had gone to an inn that they booked for the entire three months to train at the beach; including Ikaruga, the twins, and Ikki; except for Natsu who is sitting on a cliff nearby in a meditation pose.
The man sits still in his meditation pose while the breeze was blowing through his hair.
Natsu just sits there before the 8 Celestial Gems appeared in front of him, the gems glows in their colors while floating in a circle.
"seems that we were right to call you, Natsu" Draco's voice spoke out of the Dragon Gem as Natsu slowly opens his eyes to look at the gems.
"what is it?" asked Natsu.
"we have sense something, something very dire upon your land" stated Genbu within the Turtle gem. "something that we Celestial Guardians have not sensed for 4 centuries"
"and that is?" stated Natsu.
"we've sensed the presence of a dark force, or as you would say upon your land. Dark magic" replied Draco as this made Natsu's eyes squinted a bit.
"the presence is faint, but we were able to sense it coming from the capital city of your land and hidden within the city itself" added Byakko.
"not only that, we have sensed the same power that your blonde friend posses mixed with the black magic" stated Draco as Natsu stayed silent for a minute before he closed his eyes.
"it is something that might be connected with Kaguya-sama's prediction in the past" said Genbu as Natsu slowly opened his eyes.
"seems that fate is no longer anyone's ally, huh?" said Natsu as he looks down before to the gems. "I'll handle the dark magic presence, but I will need your help. All of your help"
"that is what we intend to do when we join you to Ishgar" stated Draco before all 8 gems circles around each other before spinning fast and collides to one another. A rainbow flash occurred as the 8 gems combined and formed a single octagon shaped golden gem that has small ink like drawings of the 8 Lingyue Celestial Guardians on each side. "with this Gem, you can call upon any of us at your time of need"
Natsu lifted his right hand up and caught the gem in his grasp before looking at it.
"our powers are connected to your chi; as long as you will it, our strength is yours to command" said Genbu before the glowing golden gem dims down.
Natsu looks at the gem before he sighs and closed his palm over it.
"no matter what, the battle never escapes from my own fate" said Natsu before he stands up from his seat and started walking back to the inn to get some sleep for tomorrow.
Upon the next day, the group continued their training preparation for the GMG. Everyone walked to the beach, eager to train even more to get even stronger than before.
"If you guys keep going at this pace, you'll be back up to speed in no time." Jet said with a smile.
"Yeah. " Gray said stretching his arms above his head. "If we keep working our bodies like this."
"I feel like my magical power has increased already." Wendy smiled.
"We still have 3 months before the games, we can't afford to get complacent just yet." Erza reminded everyone.
"You're right." Levy agreed.
"All this training we're doing is really going to make the most of these three months," Lucy said as she sat on the sand before the sand below her started to rise and Virgo's head popped out
"Princess, there's trouble." Virgo said to Lucy
"Where did you come from?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"it's Virgo" said Wendy in surprise to see the Masochist spirit
"She certainly knows how to make an entrance." Charla commented with a deadpanned face while Kiara squealed nearby.
"What is it Lucy?" Erza asked as she and the others gathered around.
"I don't know." Lucy replied. "Virgo just appeared and said there was trouble."
"That's correct." The maid bowed. "There is trouble in the Celestial Spirit World."
"The Celestial Spirit World?" Lucy repeated as Virgo grimaced.
"What's wrong?" asked Levy
"I fear that the Celestial World may be destroyed. Please…you have to help us." Said Virgo as everyone's eyes widened in shock.
"What?" Lucy said in disbelief.
"What did you say?" said Erza.
"What does that mean?" Gray added.
"The Celestial King has asked me to come here and bring you all back with me. He is waiting for you all in the Celestial World." Virgo explained. Suddenly a golden magical circle appeared below everyone. It glowed brightly.
"Hold on!" Lucy yelled. "I'm not ready!"
In a flash everyone was gone, everyone except for Natsu, Ikaruga, Ikki, Jet, and Droy.
"seems that Haruka and Haruo joined in" said Ikaruga with a smile while carrying Ikki who is still asleep in her arms. Natsu near his wife, sees that his twins are gone to the Celestial Spirit world with the others as this made him sigh tiredly.
"Kiara is gone too" added Natsu while shaking his head before placing a palm on his forehead.
upon the Celestial Spirit world, Lucy and everyone arrived in the other world where they piled up one another with Haruka and Haruo as well as Kiara on the very top.
Everyone soon got off one another as they see on where they were.
"this is the Celestial World!" Lucy exclaimed as they all see that they were not at the beach anymore. Lucy looked back at her friends, each of them wearing Celestial spirit clothing as well.
"so big!" said Haruka and Haruo in unison while Kiara rides on Lucy's shoulder.
"why are you two here?!" said Gray in surprise.
"did Natsu-san not join us?!" added Juvia.
"Welcome Ms. Heartfilia, my old friend." A voice said from overhead as everyone looked up and saw a huge, long moustached man looking down at them for he is the Celestial Spirit King.
"moustache Face!" Lucy exclaimed pointing at the large spirit.
"Moustache!" screamed Haruka and Haruo in unison.
"I take it you are the ruler of the Celestial world." Erza said bluntly.
"She sure is straightforward." Said Levy as Wendy nodded in agreement.
"Indeed I am." The Celestial King nodded.
"So what's going on? What's threatening to destroy the Celestial world?" asked Lucy as the Celestial Spirit King soon snickers and grins.
"Lucy and her old friends." Said the Spirit King before he opened his arms and all of Lucy's Celestial spirits appeared. "Congratulations on being freed from your time curse!"
"It's time to party!" the other spirits said in unison.
"Destruction of the Celestial World?" Lucy narrowed her eyes as she looked at the Virgo. The maid simply grinned mischievously and chuckled. "That's not funny!" Lucy yelled.
"We wanted to surprise you, baby." Said Cancer.
"I'm sorry for the deception Ms. Lucy." Capricorn bowed. "But we thought you deserved a celebration for your safe return."
"We would have done it in the human world, but only a certain number of us can go at one time." Lyra explained.
"So we thought it best to bring you here." Aries chimed in. "I'm so sorry!"
"But only this once." Scorpio smirked.
"Is that all?!" said Gray all happy while palling around with Sagittarius. "All you guys had to do was ask! You don't have to scare us like that!"
"Now what do we say we get this party started?" Loke said as he walked to his guild mates.
"Yeah!" everyone yelled happily as the festivities began.
The party was certainly a lively one. Drinks and food were consumed, stories were told, songs were sung, and memories were made. All the spirits, even Aquarius, were happy to see Lucy and the others alive and well.
"should I get Natsu-san?" asked Virgo to Lucy as Haruka and Haruo are playing around with Sagittarius and Scorpio.
"I think it's fine" said Lucy in reply while looking to the twins. "Kiara is here and they're with us, I'm sure Natsu will be fine knowing that"
"I see" replied Virgo.
"by the way" said Wendy while looking around the Celestial Spirit world. "I don't see Draco-san and the other Celestial Guardian Beast"
"now that you said it" said Levy while looking around. "they're not here?
"we are here" boomed a voice as everyone looks up and sees Draco with the other Celestial Spirit of Lingyue appearing in the vast space like sky. "we just got the summon from the Spirit King of your arrival"
"it's Draco!" exclaimed the twins in seeing the Dracon Spirit again.
"seems that Ikaruga-san and Daimou didn't join in" said Enra while on top of Byakko's head. The Monkey King only sees the twins with Kiara.
"the man has been rather stoic for years that we have known of him" stated Tengu as Taka nodded in agreement.
"it is good to see you all once more, old friends" said the Celestial Spirit King to the 8 Celestial Guardian spirits.
"yes, it has been long" replied Genbu before the Tortoise Spirit shrank down to his Turtle hermit size. "it has been so long that I'm forgetting some faces here"
"you guys don't get together often?" asked Gray to Loke from hearing Genbu's statement.
"Draco and the others are the Southern Celestial Spirits while we're the Northern Celestial Spirits." Explained Loke. "they govern the Celestial Spirit world of the southern area while we govern the northern area"
"we all have our duties, and it is a rare occasion that we all join together for a celebration like this one" added Capricorn who is nearby.
"so in understanding, you guys are nearly apart from each other?" asked Erza while crossing her arms under her chest.
"in a way" replied Virgo to her as the party continued for everyone.
Everyone partied on for a whole day in the Celestial Spirit world as the party lasted that long.
"what a great party!" said Gray while stuffed with Celestial Spirit world food. "the food here are to die for!"
"yup!" said Haruka and Haruo in unison while Kiara squealed on top of Haruka's head.
"thank you so much for this book!" said Levy, receiving a book from Crux.
"and for this cloth!" added Wendy, wearing a Celestial Spirit world's dress.
"look at that, they become good friends" said Charla as to see Aquarius and Juvia getting along so well.
"my old friends, we are always by your side" stated Celestial Spirit King as Lucy nodded with a smile.
"yes!" said Lucy as she is happy to have such great friends.
"we'll be your excelled partners!" said Scorpio.
"call us anytime" added Capricorn.
"I'll stop by the guild sometimes" said Loke while fist-bumping with Gray.
"you'd better!" said Gray with a grin.
"everyone! Please take care of Lucy!" said Aries with Lyra, Taurus, Horologium, and Gemini nearby.
"you'd bet!" said Levy while hugging Lucy who smiled.
"may the stars bless your paths, old friends!" said the Spirit King who tuns and then disappears into the stars.
"you are truly loved by them" said Erza as Lucy smiled while nodding.
"they're my precious friends after all" replied Lucy.
"okay! Let's get back and continue our training for the GMG!" said Gray with a big grin. "got to become more stronger!"
"yeah" said Erza with a nod
"by the way, princess" said Virgo calling out to Lucy who turns to look at the maid spirit. "I have forgotten to tell you that the time goes different for the Celestial Spirit realm."
"really?! You mean like It's one day back at the beach but actually a year here like that!?" said Gray with a grin.
"this can be a great thing for us to train as much more than back at our world!" added Levy.
"no, it is the opposite," said Virgo in explanation. "one day upon the Spirit world, it is three months in the human world"
Everyone returned back to the beach where they are facing the ocean waters.
"oh, you have returned" said Ikaruga in seeing the group after three months away.
"Mama!" Haruka and Haruo ran to their mother who kneels and hugs them after such a long time away for her that is three months but for the twins, it's just one day.
"hey you guys!" hollered Jet and Droy, the two coming towards the group. "you guys are back!"
A few seconds passed as Erza and Gray fell faceplant to the beach while Wendy cried in tears.
Lucy's body shakes before she looks at the sky and screamed. "mustache bastard! Give back our time!"
