On with the story
At a bar called Sun, the Fairy Tail A and B team with the guild members were all situated within as they were all partying for their big success on the GMG in the first day.
"it's time for a party!" cheered Makarov as everyone roared in agreement.
"talk about a real lucky win for us!" said Cana as she grins while holding a beer bottle. "who knew that some of Lingyue Celestial Spirits chose to be with Natsu and Lucy!"
"yeah! With them, we can win the GMG easy!" added Elfman while grinning.
"the GMG is in the bag!" said Romeo with a fist pumped.
While the three were celebrating, we turn to another table where Lucy, Levy, Juvia, and Lisanna are sitting by with Kiara who is sitting on the table, feasting on a bowl of roasted nuts.
"just when did you get chosen by Byakko, Lu-chan?" asked Levy to Lucy.
"I don't really know, it's more like Byakko came to my help that time" explained Lucy about the event that transpired during her battle round against Flare. "I heard a voice and just shouted out Byakko's name then he came"
"you just shouted out his name and he came?" said Juvia while having a curious look. "does that mean you have his Celestial Gem with you?"
"not at all" replied Lucy before she holds up her right hand and looks at her palm. "I felt something in my right hand that time and it was glowing too…."
"something in your right hand?" asked Lisanna as Lucy nodded.
"I wonder what that was" muttered Lucy with a curious voice.
By the other tables, the others were celebrating for Fairy Tail teams are on the five top ranks of the games.
"who is going out on tomorrow's event?" Jet asked to the others on the two teams.
"me!" said Gajeel with a grin by his table that he is sharing with Laxus, Mira and Lily. Natsu with Mystogan aren't at the bar at all; as well as Ikaruga and her children. "Salamander got picked two times on the event and battle. It's my time to shine!"
"Then you can finally show everyone just how hard you trained." Added Lily with a nod.
"Juvia'll go for our team then" stated Juvia, hearing Jet's statement before. "it is time Juvia show everyone Juvia's new strength!"
"good luck, Juvia! We're rooting for ya!" said Cana as she with other members cheered and roared in agreement.
"are Wendy and Charla still with Porlyusica?" asked Warren while having his arms crossed.
"heard that they're going to need more than one day of rest to get their whole strength back" replied Max.
"hope they can get better for the second day" added Droy while eating some fried chicken.
at the Mercurius Palace, the King is situated upon his throne and in front of him is Arcadios who kneeled upon the floor
"Your majesty, the first day of the Grand Magic Games ended without incident." Reported Arcadios
"Hmm. They were quality games." Replied the king
"Regarding the second day's battle portion... I humbly inquire whether you have any requests." Asked Arcadios
"That's right..." said the king while humming "I want to see Sting and Rogue, as well as the Salamander but... I want to save the best for last. That's it! I want to see Bacchus! Make sure Bacchus is included."
"Which team should the match-up be against?" asked Arcadios again
"From Fairy Tail... that one that transforms... I can't remember the name! E...E... ~!" said the king while trying to remember one of Fairy Tail member's name.
"Understood. Let's have it like that, It'll definitely be a quality match. If you have no other requests, I'll take my leave." Stated Arcadios
"You're working hard, Knight Squadron Chief. Rest well." Said the King as Arcadios nodded before he stoo up and walks away.
After walking out of the throne room, Arcadios slowly smirks before saying "I don't have the luxury of having time to rest, your majesty. After all, soon, that will be complete. Kuku..."
back at the bar, Cana laughs as she got some drinks with Bickslow and the others, who are all down because of too much alcohol.
"what a bunch of lightweights!" laughed Cana before a stranger came and sat by her side.
"Hey sister, you look pretty strong." The stranger spoke to Cana.
"Huh?" Cana looks at the stranger who is a man whose hair is in a bun with a white cloth covering it. He had distinct tattoos under his eyes and wore what appeared to be the shoulder portion of a piece of armor that extended down his arms, exposing his chest and abdominals. The man placed a filled shot glass by the table as he grins.
"You wanna try your luck against me?" asked the stranger as Cana smirked
"I don't know who you are, but you're on." Replied Cana as she accepted his challenge.
"Hey, I wouldn't' do that if I were you!" Macao warned the stranger.
"That girl's a monster." Wakaba chimed in.
20 minutes later and after 35 amounts of empty alcohol drinks, Cana fell
"Cana…lost?!" The guild exclaimed in disbelief.
"That should be impossible…right?" Kinana asked aloud.
"I've never seen Cana lose a drinking contest before." Warren said.
"Well you can't win 'em all." Laxus said, sipping from his own mug.
The man took Cana's bra. "I'll *hic* be taking this as a prize." He said as he wobbled towards the bar's exit.
"What are you doing, jerk?!" Droy yelled.
"Hey, give that back!" Macao yelled after him. He and Wakaba began to give chase.
Macao swung at the man, who unexpectedly fell over despite Macao's attack not connecting.
"What the?" said Macao as the man stood back up before falling on him and Wakaba, both crashing through some benches.
"Dad!" Romeo shouted.
"What is this guy's deal?" Warren asked.
"Bacchus?!" Erza voice out in surprise as she knew the drunken man. The man, whose name was now revealed to be Bacchus, stood up and looks at Erza at a closer range.
"Erza?" said Bacchus with a drunk smile. "It's been a while. You look as hot as ever."
"Are you participating in the games as well?" Erza asked Bacchus,
"Well I was gonna sit this one out and let the younger members handle it, but after what happened to Warcry I decided to join as a reserve member" replied Bacchus. "a man got to do what a man got to do"
"I see." Erza said, slightly narrowing her gaze.
"Seeing you again makes my spirit tremble." Bacchus said. He began to walk, or rather wobble, towards the bar exit. "If we meet in the games, let's have a decisive battle this time. See ya!"
"Bacchus, wait." Stated Erza as Bacchus stops in his place then turns to look at her. "Cana's top, give it back."
"Fine, you guys are too serious for your own good." Said Bacchus with a grin before he threw the bikini top and Erza caught with one hand.
"Thank you." Said Erza
"Yeah, yeah." Bacchus waved. "See you in the games, Erza. And my soul will always be Wild…"
"Four" Erza said in a monotonous like tone
Bacchus laughs and started to head outside as he was drunk and was passing by the street
Erza let out a deep sigh once Bacchus departed.
"Erza…" Lucy began, gaining the redhead's attention. "Who was that guy?"
"He is an S-Class wizard from the Quatro Cerberus guild, and possibly their strongest member. The Drunken Hawk…Bacchus, of the Drunken Pigua Quan School." Erza explained. "We've fought many times before, but neither of us has had a clear victory over the other."
"Y-you mean he's as strong as you?" Lucy trembled.
"Well it doesn't matter now, right?" Elfman said. "There's no way Erza would lose this time around."
"Sounds like he already knows he's going to fight you in the games." Gray commented.
"Whether he fights me or not is of no great importance to me." Erza looked at the clock, realizing that it was almost midnight.
"You all need to get some rest." Makarov said to Erza and the other games participants. "You still have four days of games left."
"Understood Master." Said Erza before she looks at her teammates who nodded to her.
At a park somewhere near the inn, Natsu is there with his family and as well as the 8 Lingyue Celestial Spirits.
Ikaruga with Haruka, Haruo, and Ikki were by a nearby stall that sells many souvenirs of the GMG as the children saw candy as well and wanted them. while Ikaruga is with the children, Natsu is in a conversation with the 8 Lingyue Celestial Spirits
"the dark presence that lurks within this kingdom is fainter than we had expected" said Draco in his smaller form along with Genbu, Houou, and Byakko. The four Great Guardian Celestial Spirit choosing the small form to not draw too much attention while Enra, Tengu, Seiocho, and Taka were in their regular form. "we cannot even determine if it is coming from which area"
"this could mean a troubling danger could arise at any moment" added Byakko, the White Tiger spirit is now a small kitten who has an air veil wrapped around his tail.
"just how faint is the presence?" asked Natsu as his eyes squinted a bit.
"as faint as one can catch a small dandelion floating in the sky" replied Enra while having his arms crossed.
"the dark presence seems to be moving" added Genbu while scratching his long white beard. "rather troubling this darkness"
"moving? You mean that this dark presence is from a person not something else?" asked Natsu as Draco nodded.
"or it could be many things" replied Draco. "for example, that Raven Tail named guild. One of your guild's senior members seems to be rather vent on having them within the festival"
"their presence upon the festival does pique interest, as well as their motives" added Houou whose small form is like a chicken with bright red tail feathers. "the dark presence could be something that they conjured up"
"even for a human, that faint dark presence should not be able to be concealed completely during the day" stated Tengu as he rubs his chin. "the dark presence would still linger even if it came from them"
"we should be more attentive to the other participating guild members" stated Seiocho who is sitting within the water fountain. "one could say that the dark presence is hiding in the plain sight of other present guilds"
"true" said Genbu while nodding in agreement. "concealing the faint presence could be completely be out of sight with others"
"what do you think?" asked Draco to Natsu who had his eyes glows red before he glanced to the side to see his family coming back from the stall with snacks and some GMG souvenirs.
"Enra, Tengu, Taka, Seiocho, the four of you already memorized the layout of the kingdom?" asked Natsu as the Four Animal Spirits nodded. "survey any possible areas of concealment, I want to make sure that the dark presence is from a person and not a thing"
"understood" said Enra before he, Tengu, Taka, and Seiocho disappears instantly.
"what of us?" asked Draco before he got lifted and thrown into the air by Haruo who was behind him. "waaah!"
"try not to get too harmful to my kids" said Natsu as he watched Haruo plays around with Draco while Haruka hugs Byakko who she squealed as an adorable kitten.
"you! I'm not a play toy for your brats!" shouted Draco before he disappeared into the celestial spirit world followed by Byakko who hates too tight hugs as this left Houou and Genbu.
"we shall be returning as well" said Genbu to Natsu. "we will inform you if we find a trace of the dark presence"
Natsu nodded before the two disappeared, leaving the salmon haired mage with his family.
"was there an interesting conversation beforehand?" asked Ikaruga while carrying Ikki who is wearing a child-size Mato pumpkin head.
"nothing much" replied Natsu with a small smile, not wanting to tell about the whole dark presence.
upon the next day, the GMG starts for its second day event.
"Good morning everyone and welcome to day two of the 7th annual Grand Magic games!" Lola announced over a roaring crowd. "Once again I'm your host Lola Chapati, joined once again by Mr. Yajima. How are you doing on this fine day Mr. Yajima?"
"I'm doing well, thank you, Lola." Yajima said with a smile.
"Today our special guest host is reporter and photographer for the world renowned sorcerer weekly: Jason!" said Lola, introducing the excited reporter.
"Thanks for having me, guys! it's so cool to be here!" Jason exclaimed in his usual excited manner.
"as of now, today's event 'Rush'! is underway!" exclaimed Lola as he looks at a magic screen that showed a racing field that has Fairy Tail B team's Gajeel, Fairy Tail A team's Juvia, Lamia Scale's Yuka, Raven Tail's Kurohebi, Mermaid Heel's Risley, Sabertooth's Rogue, Quatro Cerberus' Bacchus, and Blue Pegasus' Ichiya, all participants running in a long run race as the one who is leading is Gajeel who is followed by Rogue behind him. "with the one in the first place is Fairy Tail B Team's Gajeel! He's going full on, but Sabertooth's Rogue is right behind him with Raven Tail' Kurohebi also with the others right behind!"
Upon the racetrack, Gajeel runs as fast as he could before he took a glance behind and sees a looming shadow following him for it is Rogue the Shadow Dragon Slayer.
"guess he can eat shadows and become one, huh?!" said Gajeel before he focuses back to the front and continued running before he got an idea that made him grin. Gajeel stops his running for a moment as he squatted his legs down before his magic transform both his legs into an iron spring that repels him from the ground and to the air, very high and far.
"amazing! Gajeel-kun has just changed his legs into a bouncing spring! What a bounce!" exclaimed Lola in seeing Gajeel taking a bigger lead than the rest.
"a very smart trick" said Yajima with a chuckle.
"cool! Gajeel cool!" screamed Jason.
"go! Gajeel!" cheered Levy as so did the others at the Fairy Tail guild stand.
"bounce to the finish!" shouted Haruo.
"bounce and bounce!" added Haruka.
"Gajeel got the lead, but that Sabertooth' Rogue guy is catching up" said Macao as they look at the screen and sees Gajeel taking the lead but Rogue who is within the shadow is slowly catching up.
"and Juvia is behind him too" added Wakaba as Juvia is trying to catch up with the two while Yuka and the others are chasing behind.
At Fairy Tail A Team's Stand, the group cheered for Juvia as the Water Mage is only in third place and needs to catch on faster if she wants to get faster.
"give it to Gajeel to think up of a way to get closer to the finish line" said Lucy as Gajeel keeps on bouncing to the finish line, Rogue following behind in the shadows, while Juvia with the others were just running as fast as they could.
"if Jet was in the team, I'm sure he would've finished in just 10 minutes" commented Gray, knowing how fast the Guild's Speedster.
"come on, Juvia! Put in more man power!" exclaimed Elfman, cheering for the water mage.
"this event could prove to be taxing if Juvia got picked for the battle round" commented Erza as it's the event round's choice of competition that could also give result in the winnings of the battle round's matchups. "I hope that Juvia has enough strength within her"
upon the racetrack, Juvia keeps running but she is looking like she is out of breath because of the constant running.
"this….t-this is not the right competition for Juvia!" exhaled Juvia as she is sweating hard from the running, her legs are slowly weakening in speed and making the other team catch up to her then pass her. "w-why did…J-Juvia pick to do this?"
Juvia takes a quick stop as she breathes in and out while looking tired.
"Juvia's stamina is running out of gas! She had just stopped!" said Lola, seeing Juvia's action.
"seems like her physic strength isn't a good match for this event" commented Yajima.
"gas down! Cool!" shouted Jason.
"oh no! Juvia got exhausted!" said Lucy.
"come on, Juvia! Man it up!" shouted Elfman.
"she's going to get last place if this goes on" added Gray before Erza stands behind her with a firmed look that got his attention, Gray turns and asked. "Erza? Why are you?"
Gray's clothes was soon ripped by Erza as the ice mage let out a surprised scream while only in his boxers. A ribbon appeared in Erza's hands as she wrapped Gray like a present before she whistled to Elfman and Lucy who looks at her nudging her head to the wrapped up Gray.
Juvia huffs her breathing before a lacrima screen appeared in front of her, she look and her eyes widen with her cheeks blushing red. Upon the screen is the present wrapped Gray who is hold up by Erza and the others.
"Juvia! Hurry! Gray wants to give you his body as a present for ten minutes! Hurry!" exclaimed Erza as this lighted fire within Juvia.
"GRAY-SAMA'S BODY!" screamed Juvia as her body turned into water that went streaming through the racetrack like a raging river stream. "JUVIA WILL HAVE!"
"oh my god! Juvia got motivated to the full power!" shouted Lola as Juvia went pass Bacchus, Ichiya, Risley, Yuka in an instant before passing Kurohebi. "she got passed five of the contestants and regained third spot again!"
"seems like Fairy Tail A team got some good motivation tools" said Yajima with a chuckle.
"cool! Water cool!" screamed Jason.
Gajeel with Rogue were first in line before Juvia zooms pass them in her water form as she passed them in mere seconds.
"what the hell?!" exclaimed Gajeel in surprise as Juvia went through the racetrack before streaming through the finish line.
"and she's done it! Juvia is the winner of today's event!" Lola shouted as the crowds cheered. Gajeel soon came in second, then Rogue, followed by Bacchus, Kurohebi, Yuka, Risley and lastly Ichiya who got zero points. "seems like Fairy Tail just gives us endless surprises!"
"GRAY-SAMA!" squealed Juvia as she got back to her team's stand and hugs then cuddles Gray's present wrapped up body all she wants.
"agggh! Get her off me!" screamed Gray with a red face as Juvia is still in her water body form and she is soaking him up.
"you used some of the most weirdest plan, Erza" said Elfman with a sweatdrop in seeing Juvia soaking up Gray all over.
"it is what the First Master would think of" replied Erza with a proud smile.
"why you looking so proud and all?" asked Lucy with an awkward deadpanned face.
"why that Gray…" gritted Lyon with a jealous look while also getting a jealous stare from Cheria.
"Now that the event portion of the games is over, we can move on to the battle portion of the day, but first the current rankings." Lola announced. Everyone turned their attention to the screens:
1st Place: Sabertooth – 26
2nd Place: Fairy Tail A – 23
3rd Place: Fairy Tail B – 21
4th Place: Lamia Scale – 15
5th Place: Blue Pegasus – 14
6th Place: Quatro Cerberus – 6
7th Place: Mermaid Heel – 5
8th Place: Raven Tail – 4
"That was certainly a cool victory." Said Jason with an excited grin.
"Now on to the battle portion of day 2." Lola announced.
Gajeel got back to his team's stand as he got an irritated look.
"that Titania got some crazy ideas in motivating Juvia" said Gray with an annoyed tone.
"redhead always has a screw loose, remember?" replied Mira with a grin.
"at least we and their team are at 2nd and 3rd place" stated Laxus as their rank is 3rd and is slowly catching up to Sabertooth.
"yeah? well i still don't like how them guys use a dirty trick" stated Gajeel while crossing his arms.
Natsu with Mystogan stayed silent in the group's conversation as they just watch the field for Toby form Lamia Scale and Kurohebi from Raven Tail came to the scene.
"Now for the first match of Day 2!" Lola announced. "It will be Toby of Lamia Scale versus Kurohebi of Raven Tail!"
"the dog looking guy from Lyon's guild, huh?" said Lucy as she remembered the man's abilities from Galuna. Meanwhile in the background, Gray is still screaming for help from Juvia who is melting up in her water body on him.
"he's strong?" asked Elfman as Lucy nodded.
"he has special magic for his claws, if I remember correctly" explained Lucy before the gong rang.
"Super Paralysis Claw: Mega Mega Jellyfish!" exclaimed Toby as his nails grew long before he lunged right at Kurohebi then swipes his claws at the man, but the Raven Tail Mage just dodge it easy. Toby continued swiping his claws at him before Kurohebi turns into sand and disappeared, surprising the dog faced man. "he's disappeared?!"
"You fool! He's using Mimic Magic!" exclaimed Jura from Lamia Scale's stand as he tried to warn his fellow guild mate, but it was too late when Kurohebi appeared behind Toby and sends a storm of sand right at him.
"Sand Rebellion!" said Kurohebi as Toby spins in the storm of sand that sends crashing to the ground a few feet away.
"that's my magic!" said Max as Kurohebi's magic is like his.
"he can use other individual's magic?!" said Laki in surprise.
"Mimic….a rather unique magic" stated Mavis with an interested look.
"Come on dog man kick that guys butt!" Romeo cheered.
"Obliterate that Raven Tail scumbag!" Makarov shouted at Toby. "go! Dog man!"
Toby howled down in the arena as he readied his claws at Kurohebi.
"Your stronger than I thought you were." Said Toby while hostile towards the Raven Tail mage.
"You're not too bad yourself." Replied Kurohebi
"I wish I had a cool name like Kurohebi." Toby told him.
"It's just an alias." Replied Kurohebi before Toby lunged at him.
"that's not a real name!" shouted Toby.
"are you getting angry?" said Kurohebi while dodging Toby's strikes.
"Alright! If I beat you, then you have to tell me your real name! Deal?!" exclaimed Toby.
"I'm fine with that, but what if I win?" replied Kurohebi with a dark chuckle.
"Then I tell you my Super Special Secret that nobody knows!" Toby told him.
"Sounds intriguing, it's a deal!" said Kurohebi with an interested smile.
"Our competitors seem to have struck a friendly wager with each other."Commented Lola.
"I don't feel interested in it" added Yajima with an uninterested look.
"COOOL~!" Jason yelled.
Bacchus who hears of the wager got an interested smirk.
"A little gambling huh? This could make things interesting." Said Bacchus before he chuckles
The battle between Toby and Kurohebi soon ended with the Raven Tail's Wizards victory.
"The dust has cleared and from what we can clearly see Toby has lost the match!" Chapati announced, "That's it folks! Kurohebi slides away with a win for Raven Tail!"
"Very impressive." Said Erza with her eyebrows furrowed.
"that Raven guy, I bet to hell that he wasn't using everything he got on the dog faced guy" said Elfman as Lucy nodded
"So not only will they cheat to win but they've got some real power to them too." Stated Lucy with a serious look.
"CAN SOMEONE GET HER OFF ME!" shouted Gray as he is in a body water lock with Juvia who is all gaga over him.
"Looks like Raven Tail's finally getting up a little in the ranks!" Chapati announced as Raven Tail achieved two points on the ranking board
Upon the arena, Toby whimpered in tears as he is frustrated that he lost.
"Now, you owe me a secret." Said Kurohebi as he won the wager
"Its my sock! It just disappeared man!" Toby cried, "Its been driving me crazy because I feel like its right under my nose! But I can't find it anywhere!"
"…" everyone by the other guild didn't spoke a word as they only thought in their mind 'are you serious?'
The audience watched as Kurohebi pointed at his chest making Toby look down and cry tears of joy.
"Have you ever seen anything like this?" Chapati asked Yajima.
"Thankfully not." Yajima replied.
"SUCH EMOTION! WHAT AN ENDING!" Jason cried. "COOL!"
"What a good boy," Erza had a hand covering her mouth tears streaming down her eyes, "I'm so happy for him."
"Why are you crying?" asked Elfman and Lucy in unison.
Kurohebi extended a hand and everyone thought he was going to help him up but instead she shredded the sock instead.
"NOOOOO!" Toby cried.
Lamia Scale's representing team glared murderously at Raven Tail, Elfman and Lucy holds back Erza from going down to beat Kurohebi.
"Now onto the second match of day 2!" Lola announced as he reads the second match up. "It will be Bacchus of Quatro Cerberus…"
"Yeah! Show 'em how wild your spirit is!" Yeager yelled as Bacchus stepped onto the arena floor.
"there he is! Someone! Get revenge for me!" screamed Cana, angry that she lost to a drinking match with Bacchus.
"calm down!" said Macao and Wakaba as they tried holding back the Card Mage.
Lola continued his announcing. "Versus Elfman of Fairy Tail A!"
Everyone in Fairy Tail expressed shocked looks, including Elfman.
"WHAT! I wanted to see Bacchus vs. Erza!" The King shouts in his chamber, and Arcadios has a shadow cast over his eyes as he contemplates his mistake.
"My deepest apologies." Arcadios apologizes 'From Fairy Tail... That one that transforms! I can't remember the name! E... E... '
"My mistake." Said Arcadios with an apologetic look.
"THERE'S NO CONTEST HERE! Bacchus overwhelming victory is a given!"
"Elfman's fighting?" Mirajane said in slight disbelief.
"Elf-niichan!?" said Lisanna in surprise.
"It's all over now." Macao and Wakaba sighed.
"Don't say that!" Lisanna squeaked.
"I know the situation isn't ideal." Said Erza before she patted Elfman's back "But we are counting on you to pull a victory for us, Elfman"
"Right." Said Elfman as he nodded.
at Fairy Tail B Team's stand, the group watch as Elfman with Bacchus enter the field.
"will he be able to beat the guy? From what I've heard that Cerberus guy is a S-class in his guild" stated Laxus while having his arms crossed.
"don't worry" said Mira with a serious look. "I trained Elfman as hard as I can, he won't lose!"
"hope your words are true" stated Gajeel while Mystogan stayed quiet as always, but for Natsu, the man is watching the battle before he glanced up to a podium by the edge of Domus Flau where he saw some movement.
Back upon the Arena. Elfman and Bacchus stood across one another as they waited for the gong to sound.
Elfman stood on the field and Bacchus laid on his side with a bottle of what was most likely alcohol in front of him.
"Let's go Fairy Tail!" "win!" "I heard Bacchus is pretty strong." "Is that big guy any good?" the crowd chattered around
"That last fight was pretty boring don't cha think?" Bacchus asked Elfman.
"Y-yeah, I guess." Elfman replied, a bit confused.
"So what do you say we make ours more interesting?" Bacchus suggested.
"Interesting how?" replied Elfman.
"Those two white haired girls I saw at the bar last night, they were your sisters, right?" asked Bacchus before he smirks "So how about this…If I win I get them for a night…together."
Elfman's eyes narrowed in anger. Mirajane looked on worriedly, Lisanna on the other hand was completely turned off.
"does he mean he wants to have a game with Mira-neechan and Lisanna-neechan?" asked Haruka to Ikaruga who just smiles and didn't reply.
"better if you two don't know about it" stated Makarov as they are young children who shouldn't learn of the adult world just yet and everyone else nodded in agreement but leaving Haruka, Haruo, and even Asuka confused.
"Let's see, if you win…" said Bacchus while sitting up.
"You bastard." Elfman growled.
"Huh?" Bacchus asked while seeing Elfman looking in rage.
"As a man I can't forgive what you just said." Said Elfman with his eyes turning pure hostile.
"Oh?" Bacchus said with a raised eyebrow, his interest piqued.
"I'm gonna break you apart." Elfman roared.
"I guess that means the bet's on." Bacchus smirked.
at a roof area near the Domus Flau Arena, a group of masked people had abducted Wendy, Charla, and Porlyusica while making a getaway.
"we got them! Let's go!" said one of the masked men as they kidnapped Wendy and the others before Natsu suddenly appeared in front of them. "gah!?"
Natsu looks at them as his left hand clicks open Chitetsu from his scabbard before sheathing it back.
"I only cut you with his back edge" said Natsu as he confused the masked group who soon screamed because their clothes got torn to shreds while dropping Wendy and the others.
The masked men fell to the ground as Natsu looks down on them.
"I had yet to feast upon blood for an entire week" said Chitetsu as the cursed katana cackled. "I wish to feast on theirs"
"silence" said Natsu before he hears wild cheering from the crowd as he turns and sees that Bacchus is overwhelming Elfman.
at the arena. Elfman fell to one knee, sweat dripping from his face. He was having more than a little trouble catching his breath. In front of him stood Bacchus who was barely hurt at all.
"Dammit." Elfman breathed frustrated.
"So far this battle is completely one sided!" Lola announced. "Elfman has yet to connect with a single attack."
The Fairy Tail guild looked on anxiously from the stands and balcony.
"Looks like those two gorgeous sisters of yours are gonna be mine soon." Bacchus smirked. "I can't wait."
"Elf-niichan." Muttered Lisanna with a worried look.
"Don't worry." Evergreen said to the youngest Strauss sibling. "When it counts that man always comes through."
"You're right." Said Lisanna with a smile and a head nod.
Elfman rushed Bacchus once more, his body glowing.
"Beast Soul! Were Tiger!" In an instant Elfman's body changed into that of the War Tiger, a fusion of a man, a cheetah and a tiger.
"A high speed takeover." Mirajane said. Her face was serious but she still worried for her brother's safety.
"he should be able to land a hit now, right?" said Gajeel as they watch Elfman swiped at Bacchus with his sharp claws, but once again the Quatro Cerberus wizard dodged his attacks. Elfman swiped overhead. Bacchus ducked. Bacchus raised his palm, striking Elfman under the chin.
Elfman staggered for a moment before going for a kick. Bacchus countered again, sliding under the large man before he swung his palms around and hit Elfman's legs, knocking him back off balance and slamming him to the ground.
"And once again Elfman is down!" Lola shouted. "Bacchus is giving him no room to counter."
"how can Elfman hit the guy who is using such weird techniques?!" said Lucy as she thought that the fight isn't fair at all.
"the drunken Falcon, that is what everyone calls him" Erza said as she watches the fight
"drunken? As in alcoholically drunk?" asked Juvia as Erza nodded
"With the randomness of his movements it's nigh impossible to tell where he will strike next. What's even more worrying is what's in that bottle he has." Explained Erza.
"But he hasn't drink yet." Added Lucy before her eyes widen. "Then that means…"
"It means, he still has yet to show his true power." Erza said with a nearly grim look.
"Fyooh!" Bacchus jumped into the air. Swiping his palm down as he descended, he struck Elfman in the face, sending him crashing into the ground with a loud thud.
"You said you were a man, right?" Bacchus asked, licking his lips. "You'd better keep that promise."
Elfman's sisters continued to look on worriedly.
"Is Elfman down for good this time?!" Lola commentated.
Elfman managed to stand once again, this time with a smirk on his face.
"Something funny?" asked Bacchus
"I just found out what I want if I win the bet." Replied Elfman
"Seems pretty impossible at this point but I'll bite." Said Bacchus while shrugging his shoulders. "ok, I'll bite"
"If I win…" said Elfman before smirking "you and your guild have to call yourselves Quatro Puppy for the rest of the games."
Bacchus tried to stifle a laugh, the rest of his teammates slumped to his words
"that Elfman" said Mira with a small smile. "just when did he get full on himself?"
"Alright then. You go it." Said Elfman before he reach for his gourd and popped the cork. "Guess it's about time for me to wrap this up."
Bacchus started to drink as this alarmed everyone.
"here he comes! Eflman!" Erza said with a serious look in her eyes
Bacchus burped loudly, shakily moving into his fighting stance. Elfman felt the power radiating from his opponent.
"Beast Soul!" shouted Elfman as he undertake another Take Over.
"Too slow!" Bacchus grinned, rushing past the Fairy Tail wizard after landing his attack.
'Seven punches in rapid succession?!' Erza looks in shock as she barely could see Bacchus' movement.
"Gotcha." Bacchus smirked looking behind himself. His smirk gave way to confusion when he felt a stinking sensation on his hands. he looked down, shocked to see that his hands were trembling and bleeding. "what the!? My hands?!"
Bacchus turns towards Elfman who has taken a new form.
"w-what is that?" said Bacchus with surprise on his face
"Lizard Man!" Elfman shouted as his new form looks to be a scaled lizard "If I can't hit ya, then I'll let you come to me."
The crowd was speechless as to see Elfman's action.
"he got hit back!" said Lucy in seeing the result of Bacchus attacking Elfman's Lizard scaled body.
"a very strong defense type Take over that is perfect for barehanded opponents" said Erza with a smile. "this will work on Bacchus"
"but it won't work that well, Erza-san" said Juvia after finished going gaga over Gray who is soaking wet from her. "sure Lizardman's scales are strong, but that Bacchus-san was able to break some scales off. It's a crazy tactic"
"Come on!" Elfman shouted. "Your fists against my body, let's see which breaks first!" he shouted.
"He's insane." Bacchus said under his breath.
"It sounds like Elfman has issued a challenge to Bacchus: a battle of wills pitting fist vs. body. Will Bacchus accept?" Lola said.
"This is so cool!" Jason shouted.
"So how about it?!" Elfman challenged the drunken wizard. "Are you a real man? Or are you a chicken?"
"hahaha, My spirit's trembling. Alright, I'll take you on!" said Bacchus with a girn before he dashed forward and started to send endless amounts of strikes at Elfman's Lizard scaled body in a furry.
"go! Elfman!" shouted Mira as the rest of Fairy Tail cheered for him.
The crowds cheered like crazy as the battle turned into an all out brawl.
After what felt like an eternity, the fight finally went to a stop. Elfman and Bacchus, both tired and bloodied, fell to their knees in exhaustion. They panted heavily, their gasps for air signifying just how far past their limits they pushed.
"You…you said…your name was…Elfman…right?" Bacchus said between breaths while Elfman was too tired to reply
Bacchus stood up, throwing his hands into the air. He began to laugh loudly, satisfaction echoing throughout the arena.
"And the last man standing is Bacchus!" Lola announced.
The Fairy tail guild all looked down in defeat, each of them feeling sorrow in their heart for Elfman.
"You know what…?" Bacchus said, his voice beginning to shake as he slowly fell backwards before to the ground while having a big smile "You really are…a man.".
"Bacchus is down!" Lola exclaimed. "Elfman wins the match! Fairy Tail A wins 10 points!"
Elfman heard the announcement and his eyes widened. Fully digesting the moment he threw his arms up in victory. He roared loudly and triumphantly as the crowd grew into an excited frenzy.
"Elfman won! Amazing! He won!" commented Lola with loud cheers.
"What a spectacular battle." Yajima nodded.
"That was soooo cool!" Jason shouted.
"way to go, Elf-niichan!" screamed out Lisanna, very happy to see him win.
"I told ya, he will win!" cheered Evergreen while choking Freed.
"c-calm down! E-Ever!" said Freed while begging for her to release his neck.
Natsu looks at the field as he had a smile before he turns to look at Wendy and the others.
"seems that the big oaf won pretty well" commented Porlyusica while sighing. "that was a stupid tactic"
"but he won!" said Wendy with a big smile.
"seems so" added Charla while shaking her head with a smile on her lips.
After the battle round is over, Fairy Tail A team gathered in the infirmary where Elfman was brought in to get healed up, the Strauss man is now covered in bandages from head to toe.
"You were great out there." Said Lucy as a praise to the man's victory over Bacchus.
"I was afraid that Bacchus would win against you but seems that I am wrong" stated Erza while having a smile. "you are truly a man, Elfman"
"looks like you got big praise from Erza, Elfman" said Gray with a grin.
"thank you for winning, Elfman-san" added Juvia
"you guys sound like you're mourning me" said Elfman with an awkward look before he winced when Lisanna padded his head with gauze.
"You always did have a thick head and a stubborn body." Lisanna smiled with a little laugh
"You should be the last person laughing!" Elfman shouted as the group laughed a bit.
"But you really did an amazing job, Elfman-san." Said Wendy with a warm smile.
"yeah" replied Elfman before looking to Wendy with a firm face "Sorry to ask ya to do this, but you gotta take over for me, Wendy."
"Don't worry." Replied Wendy. "You can count on me."
"The next match is starting so hurry up and get out." Porlyusica scolded. "Learning about your enemy is the first step to defeating them."
"right" said Erza and the others before they left the infirmary.
"I'm really sorry, I really want to stay here" Lisanna said as she looks at her big brother
"don't worry, Nee-chan's match is next, right? cheer her on for my part as well" Elfman told her before the two look at the Raijinshuu who is in the room after the whole kidnap situation was explained to the guild.
"don't worry, the Raijinshuu will protect him" said Bickslow while Lisanna leaves the room.
"I put a rune that forbids strangers from coming in" Freed said as he holds his sword's hilt
"we won't allow anyone to attack this place ever again" added Elfman
"sorry…." Elfman told them
"there's no other choice, right?" Ever told to him with a smile as the two looked at each other
"any way, he's injured and in need of rest" Freed said while closing his eyes and broke their stare at each other
"how about we have Ever sleep with him then?" Bickslow suggested while pushing her down to the bed.
"Don't joke around!" Ever and Elfman shouted at the two while Freed smirked.
Everyone returned to their places as Lisanna arrived back at the Fairy Tail cheering team's stand
"Hey Lisanna, welcome back." Cana greeted the youngest strauss sibling. "How's the big lug?"
"a bit banged up, but he will be fine. Did i miss anything?" Lisanna asked as she sat down.
"You're just in time." Replied Cana "The next match is starting."
Charla started to walk to the rail where Lily and Kiara
"I see your injuries have all healed." Lily said to Charla who nodded
"They have." Stated Charla. "Wendy is fine as well. I would have stayed with her, but apparently only active participants in the tournament are allowed to watch from the balconies."
Charla turns to look at the screen and sees that the match is starting soon.
'I really shouldn't be so worried about such an obscure vision. I should be focused on supporting my guild.' Thought Charla, remembering her vision from the first day after she woke up. Within the vision she saw Mercurius crumbling, and Lucy singing within it as that made her extremely curious as to what the vision means. Charla shakes her head before focusing on the match.
"go! Mirajane! Do your be- !?" Charla exclaimed as she stops when her eyes went wide from shock "w-what…what is going on?!"
"well…" said Lily but he just stopped while Kiara squeals.
"Ohohohohoho oho hohoho" Makarov swoons, hearts in his eyes.
"calm down, Master" said Rome in seeing Makarov.
It was Mira vs Jenny in a gravure show off as both were posing to the camera while in swimsuits
"what the heck!?" Gray exclaimed on the stand
"Mira-san" Wendy said while in disbelieve
"aahhh" Lucy wowed as she had no idea what to say
"a gravure…battle?" said Juvia with an awkward look.

"hi~" Jenny greeted with a smile
this made all of the male in the crowds have drool on their mouth and hearts in their eyes
"they h-have t-this type of battle?" Wendy stuttered out.
"looks like this a special rule for them" Lucy replied to her while sweatdropping

"well, I used to do this stuff years back" replied Mira while crossing her arms. "can't believe I go to do this thing again"
"The former swimsuit model colleagues! With both of them employing transformation magic... This battle is a dream come true! The judges will be the three of us here at the scene." Chapati announces, naming himself, Yajima and Jason as the judges.

Suddenly, all of the guild's female joined into the match as they started posing
"looks like the crowds are enjoying, so let's just continue!" Lola commented on the mic
"we're gonna get into trouble if we stop the event like this" Yajima said with a blush on his face

They all started going with the match as everyone started dressing up in bikinis,

Ren partnered with Sherry as the two were actually a perfect match for each other
"this is a very interesting festival" said Ikaruga who wore a pinkish white Japanese wedding kimono along with Natsu who wore a black version for himself.
"that is not the main point…." Muttered Natsu with an awkward look before Haruka and Haruo jumped to his back while wearing mini version of their parent's wedding outfit.
Kiara squeals as she stayed at Fairy Tail's team stand with Ikki who is being watch over by Makarov and Mavis.
Everyone then went back to swimsuits before it was stopped when Lamia Scale's master, Oba Babasama came in and ruined the whole thing as she came in wearing a swimsuit while spinning her hip that made everyone stop and walk back to their stand
"now we are going to finish this match with a last battle round" said Lola as everyone had enough nosebleeds for one day.
"hey, Mira. Let's make a bet" said Jenny.
"a bet? What you wanna wager?" asked Mira with an interested look.
"how about the loser has to appear nude for the Weekly Sorcerer's magazine?" asked Jenny with a confident smirk as this cause all the perverts in Domus Flau to have nosebleeds.
"n-nude?!" said Lucy, Wendy, and Juvia in surprise while Gray's face went red.
"sure, why not" replied Mira while shrugging her shoulders as she agreed to the wager.
"WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE WAGER!" Lola commented on the mic while sweat was falling all over his face as he blushed
"she had to agree, didn't she?" said Erza while shaking her head.
The next them was Battle form as Jenny transforms into hers.
"this is my battle form" said Jenny with a confident look that was washed away when Mira transformed into her battle form.
"I was wanting a battle in the first place" said Mira with a grin as she is in a Satan Soul form that she has never been seen in before. "that'll be perfect to show redhead just how stronger I am than her"
"w-what is that?" said Lucy with a scared look.
"Majin Mirajane Sitri" stated Erza. "from what I know, that's her most strongest Satan Soul"
"be prepared to be nude on the magazine, Jenny. You made the wager.." said Mira while sending a dark look at Jenny who is shaking in fear. "right?"
Mira dashes towards Jenny before striking her and sends the Blue Pegasus mage flying into the air.
"from a swimsuit contest, it ended in a battle of strength!" screamed Lola as Mira won the match. "victor! Mirajane!"
The crowd cheered while Jenny cries because she has to do her own stupid bet.
"see ya later on the magazine next week, Jenny" said Mira as she transformed back to her regular clothes before going back to her team's stand.
"that was….something" said Gajeel.
"she ain't someone you should piss off in anytime" said Laxus to Mystogan who nodded.
"what was the point of the swimsuit contest in the first place" muttered Natsu before sighing. "what a stupid event that was"
Within the Domus Flau, Arcadios walks along the large halls as he stops when his name was called behind him.
"Captain Arcadios." Called out an old man who has a serious look to Arcadios.
"Why, if it isn't the minister of defense." Replied Arcadios.
"Just what do you think you are doing?" The old man speaks up, and the knight gives a look of confusion.
"What... do you mean?" replied Arcadios
"Don't play dumb with me! Why are you trying to get your hands on the stellar spirit mage?" His T-shaped brow's creasing as he bores holes into the younger man. "Don't you think your timing is quite premature!?"
"I wanted to try a test run as quickly as possible..." stated Arcadios firmly.
"It's still too early! It hasn't even been completed yet!" exclaimed Darton
"minister of defense... your voice is a little loud. And moreover... it's already complete." Replied Arcadios.
"What... what did you just say?" Darton looks in surprise to hear Arcadios' statement.
"It was just for the sake of budget estimates that we said it hadn't been finished yet. As long as the stellar spirit mage is present, we'll arrive at a stage where Eclipse can be used." Explained Arcadios.
"That's ridiculous... to have finished something like that in just seven years..." stated Darton with a disbelieved look.
"The plan is now moving into phase 4, plan B. Therefore, we will definitely acquire the stellar spirit mage." Stated Arcadios while Darton visibly shakes at the gained information, "It's already common knowledge that you've been opposed to the Eclipse plan. However, now that we've come so far, we can no longer stop."
"Are you a demon...?" stated Darton with a fearful look.
"For the sake of his king... for the sake of this country... a man can become a demon or a god." Replied Arcadios as he stood in front of a large gate, with designs of all colors and kinds. "Before Eclipse, the gateway to changing the world... The price of a single girl's life is indeed quite cheap."
