Returning back to Fairy Tail, Lucy was taken back from the beach by Ikaruga and the 8 Generals as they had saved her from being killed from Virgo. Erza, Gray, Juvia, Wendy, Charla, Gajeel, and Lily had all come back from their jobs and just got news of the incident.
At the moment, Lucy is getting her neck bandaged up by Lisanna and healed by Wendy as it is bruised up by Virgo's whip, Kiara rests in a basket with Ikki while having a bandage wrapped around her body and left front paw. everyone else in the guild conversed with Natsu whose left side is armless, the man's artificial left arm is busted by Taurus.
"Loke and the others aren't like themselves?" said Gray as Natsu had told the group of all 12 Golden Zodiac Spirits are not like they are supposed to be. "did something happen to them?"
"I don't know" replied Natsu while looking at Ikaruga who came to sit beside him, the pink haired woman holding a spare artificial arm that she helps attached to his left side. "their smells are the same, but their personalities and appearances are very different. They said something about themselves being reborn"
"reborn? That's a strange thing to say for Celestial spirits" said Erza while cupping her chin.
"them being reborn or whatever might be connected with the whole strange weather happening around Fiore" added Gray while crossing his arms.
"the same strange occurrences have also occurred upon Lingyue's islands as well" stated Daichi while standing nearby Natsu with Gojin, Raikou, Yamika, Kazane, Akari while Ayame and Mizuki were nowhere in sight as they had gone to fetch Haruka and Haruo who are with Mira and Elfman. Daichi continued while scratching his beard "this predicament seems to be affecting all nations as well"
"if the cause is from the Celestial Spirit world, I can predict that something is affecting their spatial and time balance that is influencing the spatial and time of our own world" added Gojin while crossed his arms.
"just what could've happened to them?" asked Juvia with a worried look.
"them changing we can put aside, but we got to know why they attacked Lucy who is their contractor" said Charla, bringing up the topic of why the celestial spirits wanted to kill Lucy.
"I can assume that since they are contracted with Lucy, if she was to be killed; their contract would be null and voided" Lily guessed while crossing his arms.
"that ain't a good thing" said Gajeel before the guild's doors were swung open by Yukino who came in with a rushing pace.
"Yukino?" said Lucy in seeing the Sabertooth's Celestial Spirit mage.
"Lucy-sama! I'm so glad that I managed to find you here!" said Yukino with a relieved face. "I thought that the 12 Zodiac Spirits had taken your life!"
"what? how did you know?" asked Lucy before she noticed that Yukino has some bandages wrapped around her forearms, legs, and neck. "those bandages…were you also.."
"yes" said Yukino while nodding before she frowns. "Pisces….Libra….myself and Sabertooth's entire guild were attacked by them…"
"Sabertooth was attacked as well!?" said Wendy with a surprised face.
"it was just a normal day for myself and my guild, when they appeared out of nowhere and attacked everyone and everything in sight" said Yukino before placing her right hand over her left forearm's bandages. "they said something about killing myself to gain their freedom."
"killing…just what the heck is going on here?" said Gray while scratching the back of his head.
"I'm not that fully specific in this information, but there might be a connection of what occurred the last time we were all transported to the Celestial Spirit world after Eclipse incident" stated Yukino as this got everyone to think. "The Celestial Spirit King once said that the Eclipse Gate tempered with time and space of the human world and their world, I fear that the tempered time and space must've caused a changed reaction to the 12 zodiac spirits"
"if it happened to them…." Said Ikaruga before frowning "….i fear the same might have happened to the 8 Celestial Guardian spirits"
"we can't make assumption like that first" said Natsu as he takes out the black celestial gem in his vest and looks at how it looks so dark and lifeless. "I can still feel their presence with the gem, but I can't hear their voices"
"that matter aside" said Erza as she looks at Yukino "first, we need to know what has occurred in the Celestial Spirit world"
"we could try to summon a Celestial spirit" suggested Lily. "one that is not of the 12 zodiacs"
"then that means a Silver key" said Lucy as she reached for her key pouch and takes out Crux's key.
"do you believe that is a good idea?" asked Kazane while holding one of her war fans in front of her mouth. "if anything, all Celestial Spirits have turned against you and every Celestial spirit mage. Once you summon one; the others will come and attack us"
"Kazane-dono. Do not think so negatively" said Daichi to Kazane who closed her eyes and shrugs her shoulders.
"if everyone…" muttered Lucy with a frown as she thought of Kazane's words and started fearing that all Celestial Spirits had turned evil or something.
"don't worry, we're all here" said Gray while punching a fist to an open palm. "if Loke and the others come and attack again, we'll be here and fight back"
"yeah" added Erza with a nod as everyone nodded in agreement.
"everyone" Lucy smiled before she nodded and then holds up her Silver Celestial Spirit Key. Everybody else prepared themselves as Gray and the others prepared their magic while Daichi and the others surround Natsu and Ikaruga in a protective line. Lucy closes her eyes and took a deep breath before she opened them and chanted. "open! Gate of the Southern Cross, Crux!"
And with a sound of a bell then a flash of golden light, Crux appeared as the elder looking spirit hovers in the air.
"oh! It worked!" said Gray, recognizing the Southern Cross spirit who looks as usual as he can be.
"seems that not all the Celestial Spirits were affected" added Erza with a smile.
"Cru-jii!" Lucy called out to the old celestial spirits who suddenly fell to the floor. "Cru-jii!?"
Lucy, Gray, and Erza went to Crux and helps the old spirit up then notice the wounds on his body. everyone else watch and sees the spirit being in a bad shape.
"he's hurt!?" said Lucy in pure surprise and confusion. "Cru-jii what happened to you!?"
"homa…Lucy-sama…..the Celestial Spirit world…..the Celestial Spirit world" muttered Crux with a weak voice. "the Celestial Spirit world is in a civil war!"
"a civil war!?" said Lucy as everyone made a surprised noise. "Cru-jii, what are you talking about!?"
"h-homa…the Northern Celestial Spirits…and the Southern Celestial Spirits…are at war…." muttered Crux while in tears. "all the remaining Celestial Spirits are being attacked….everyone is getting hurt…..Lucy-sama….what should we do?"
"hey, he's not making any sense!" said Gray as he isn't understanding what Crux is saying.
"calm down and explain to us in details, Crux" stated Erza to Crux.
"so this is where you ran off, you northern Celestial Spirit!" a voice rang out in the guild as this got everyone's attention instantly. "never thought that I get to find an Ishgar Celestial Spirit Wizard here, and two at the most. Ukikikiki!"
"who is there!?" exclaimed Juvia as she looks up to where the sound is coming from.
"ukikikiki! This building's wood is nice!" the voice rang as everyone looks up and sees a black furred monkey man who wears reddish brown ninja outfit that is covered in red armor plates, while wielding a long golden staff that has black and red orb on each end standing on the support beams of the guild's roof area. "shame that humans use such good wood! ukikikiki"
"monkey!?" said Lily in surprise.
"who is that?" asked Erza
"h-homa….that is Enra-san…" said Crux with a fearful face.
"you mean that is Enra-dono!?" stated Daichi in surprise as the Monkey Spirit looks different than the form of which they know of.
"so not only the 12 zodiac spirits were affected and changed, Lingyue's 8 celestial guardians were also affected" said Kazane while spreading her war fans. "question now is if he has really changed"
"what do you mean?" asked Gray.
"Lingyue's 8 celestial Guardian spirits are bounded by Kaguya-sama's ancient contract that is unbreakable" Gojin explained while wielding his Karito that ignites in flames. "but we fear that might be broken because of their change"
"Akari, Raikou, and Yamika, get Ikaruga and my son to safety then rendezvous with Ayame and Mizuki as they are getting back" said Natsu as he got up from his seat while holding a protective arm up in front of Ikaruga. "something about Enra's aura is tensing my senses"
"agreed" said Raikou as all members of the 8 generals and Natsu's eyes were glowing in different colors while looking at Enra whose aura is dark and ominous.
"ukikikiki! So Lingyue's people are here too, huh? What a lucky time for me" said Enra with a grin while snickering. "and one of Kaguya's descendant is there too"
"Enra-dono! What has happened to you!?" exclaimed Daichi to the monkey man.
"huh? What do you mean happened to me? I don't know what you're talking about" replied Enra as he jumps and went straight down before using his tail to grab on a support beam of the second floor while his body dangles around. "and also who are you, monk?"
"he doesn't remember any of us. Which means that Houou and the others are in the same state" said Gojin as he with Daichi readied their weapons while Akari, Yamika, and Raikou slowly evacuated Ikaruga and Ikki away.
"one against this many humans, huh? Ain't a fair fight" said Enra while scratching his cheek before he smirks. "ah well" The floor started to shake before the wooden plates splits apart and tree roots rises up then wraps around Crux's body all the sudden and it caught everyone by surprise. "I might as well take this one back with me!"
"Cru-jii!" exclaimed Lucy as she reaches her right hand out to save the Southern Cross Spirit.
"Lucy-sama! Please run!" exclaimed Crux before the roots wrapped around his body suddenly caused a bright flash.
"Daichi!" shouted Gojin as Daichi quickly formed several hand signs before slamming both his palms on the ground.
"Noboru Yama!" exclaimed Daichi and stone walls rises around Crux before an explosion occurred upon the Southern Cross Spirit that caused the stone walls to crack and break with smoke and debris flying around.
"Cru-jii!" screamed Lucy in tears at the Southern Cross Spirit had been detonated in an explosion. The smoke died down and revealed Crux gone while only leaving behind a small burning crater in result.
"ukikikiki! That was a big bang!" said Enra with a grin and a snicker before Gray with Gajeel came appearing from behind him.
"you! You think that was funny!" shouted Gray as he prepared his magic in between his palms.
"you're going to get it, monkey!" exclaimed Gajeel with his right hand transformed into an iron spear.
"Ice Make: Lance!" "Tetsuryuton! Kishin!" the two unleashes iron and ice spears combination as the attacks went flying right towards Enra who spins his staff and blocks them before Erza came jumping next with two magic swords in her grasps.
"oooh!" Erza let out a battle cry as she swung her swords right at Enra who blocks with his feet that caught the blades of the swords. "what?"
"ukikiki! Sage Monkey has four hands, you know!" Enra laughed out before chains flew and wrapped around his neck. "Uki?" Enra looks surprised before the chains pull him down to the ground below. "Uki!"
Enra crashed to the ground before he got up while rubbing his head as he looks up and was face to face with Gojin and Daichi, both wielding their weapons against the monkey spirit.
"ukiki. Looks like I got to finish my monkeying around here" said Enra with a smirk. "but remember, humans! The Celestial spirit world will be destroyed, and we will get our freedom back from you!"
"do you think we will let you escape!?" exclaimed Daichi as he swung his Tetsubo straight towards Enra who performed several hand signs before slapping both hands at front.
"Hari Senbon: Jigoku no Mai!" chanted Enra before his fur stands up like spikes and then fires everywhere.
"what!?" exclaimed Gojin as everyone shielded themselves while getting pricked by the hair needles from the monkey spirit.
"ow!" shouted Gray as his body gets pricked by the hair needles.
"damn monkey!" exclaimed Gajeel as he turns his skin into iron scales and made some of the hair needles fall from hitting him.
"ukikiki!" laughed Enra before he disappears into smoke.
"wait!" exclaimed Daichi but the monkey spirit is gone from sight.
"he escaped" said Erza while pulling off one of the hair needles stuck on her right cheek. "damnit!"
"Cru-jii…" Lucy cried out in tears as she just witnessed one of her spirits gone from an explosion. "…why….why?"
"Lucy-sama" Yukino went to Lucy and comforted her as she knows just how it feels to see the scene happen.
"just what is happening in the Celestial Spirit world!?" exclaimed Gray before wincing as Juvia is helping him pull off the hair needles stuck on his skin.
"it's like a retaliation from the Celestial spirits" said Juvia as she picks off the hair needles from Gray's back while she is safe as her body is water and the hair needles just went right through her.
"I don't believe that is the case" said Yukino while helping Lucy stand up.
"matters of it aside, Enra-dono said something about regaining their freedom. Just like the 12 celestial spirits same statement" said Daichi remembering on Enra's words before he attacked and disappeared. "what do they mean by that?"
"sounds like they are planning to do something" added Gojin before flicking off a hair needle on his right shoulder.
"but what?" said Erza with a confused face.
"uh guys" Wendy called out to the others as they turn towards her. "Natsu-san….is gone…"
"eh?" everyone looks around and realizes that the salmon haired man is gone.
"where did he?" said Lily while looking around with the others for Natsu.
"you don't think.." muttered Charla with a nervous look.
Within a portal stream, Enra flies through it before he landed within the Celestial Spirit world that is in wreck.
"ukikiki! Now to find another Northern Celestial Spirit to take out" said Enra with a grin as he was about to go and search for a nearby Celestial spirit when he got a flaming punch to the head by Natsu who appeared behind him. "UKI!?"
Enra's face went straight for the ground as the monkey spirit's back head steams in flames from Natsu's punch.
"you should be more concern of yourself," said Natsu as his body glows in red aura. The salmon haired man looks at Enra and sees him glowing before disappearing into sparkles. "what?"
The sparkles flies to the air before flying away in a direction that Natsu follows.
"this is…" said Natsu as his eyes widen and finds himself on a floating island that has stone statues of all 8 Lingyue Celestial Guardian Beast Spirits. "what in the world?"
