And so for the next ten years of her life, Azura began to study to become a powerful witch just like her namesake. She did this by reading her mother's books about all the types of magic and by reading all of the Azura books.

But a lot of her studying time did cause some issues. When she was 12, she developed a caffeine addiction since she spent a lot of her nights studying which she got over, she was late for a lot of stuff such as lessons and events with her family and friends.

For example, when she and her family went to the beach in the Human Realm for a little vacation, all Azura did was study which did disappoint her moms and brother. Plus, she forgot some birthdays such as her brother's and her Mom's.

But there were a lot of perks when it came to her magic. She learnt how to perform light spells, bard magic skills, plant skills, illusions and even became a top player at Grudgeby. She was a top student at almost all of the magical topics.

Currently, right now, Azura was busy carving herself a Palisman in her bedroom by her desk. Her bedroom had essentially regular stuff that a lot of teenagers would tend to have in their bedroom.

A large bed, posters dedicated to Azura, a Human Realm movie called A Bad Dream on Maple Road, stuffed toys which included her precious tadpole, Polly; A teal platypus; A pig and a princess with blonde hair.

She also had a bunch of pictures of people in her life either hung on her wall or placed on her desk. Which included pictures of her moms, her brother, her posing with her Abuela Camila, her drawing on the face of her sleeping Grandpa Alador, her posing with her best friends, her and her Aunt Ronda doing a rock sign and a family photo of her, her brother and her moms.

Azura was partway done with the Palisman which looked like a dark grey dog with white marks around their neck and a white underbelly.

Azura, now with much more messier hair due to all her hard work smiled at her hard work. "Almost done, little Palisman." She patted it on its head.

"Azura! Are you coming down for breakfast?!" Luz yelled from downstairs.

"Coming, Mama!" Azura replied before she stood up up off her chair and packed a few of her essential stuff in her bag. Such as pencils, notebooks and erasers.

She looked at herself in the mirror and checked her Hexside school uniform which didn't go with the Coven system colours and instead opted for a more rainbow colour. A suggestion her Mama made.

She began to walk outside her bedroom and straight towards the kitchen where she saw her brother sitting by the breakfast bar, drawing on a piece of paper and her mom reading a map while her Palisman, Ghost, was resting on her shoulder. Her Mama, appeared to be making some breakfast which was her favourite griffin egg omelette recipe while her Palisman, Stringbean was on her shoulder.

Even the last 26 years, Luz still kept her old hairstyle of brown and slightly messy with a bit of spiky hair. She still had her eyebrow scar which never even seemed to bother her in all the years. She was currently in some casual gear which was a pair of dark pants and a bad girl Coven shirt since she wasn't writing today.

Amity was still dying her hair Abomination purple and kept her hair in a bit of a ponytail. Her work clothes usually consisted of purple coats and purple pants when she isn't out exploring and is working at either the Abomination factory or helping Lilith with an exhibit at the museum.

The youngest Noceda, Manny was around ten years old and had short spiky brown hair just like her Mama when she was young, a pointy nose just like her mom, hazel eyes and round ears. He was currently in his Professor What pyjamas since he wasn't at all going to Hexside for another few months.

"Hey Mom, can we visit Aunt.."

"No!" Amity interjected her son.

"But I didn't say which one." Manny said.

"I know which one you want to visit." Amity said. "And the answer, is no."

Manny groaned. "But she's cool."

Luz approached the breakfast bar, ready to serve her breakfast to her family. "Manny, I know we love Aunt Ronda but…..You know how much of a bad influence she is on you, right?" Luz gently placed the omelettes on her family's respective plates.

"That's what makes her so cool!" Manny argued before he began to eat his omelette.

"Come on Manny, we have plenty of cool Aunts." Azura said. "How about Aunt Emira?"

"She isn't that wild." Manny said. "She's all boring. Uncle Edric told me how cool they were back in the day."

"Okay, she is a bit boring. How about Aunt Vee? We love Aunt Vee." Azura suggested,.

"But Aunt Vee is boring!" Manny exclaimed.

"Actually, I don't think we'll be visiting Aunt Vee for a while." Luz said. "According to your Auncle Masha, her stomach pains are getting a lot worse and she's become more territorial of their surroundings."

"Why's that?" Amity asked.

"I don't know." Luz replied. "She's apparently never been like that with them."

"She could be pregnant." Manny theorised.

"Manny!" Amity chided her son.

"What?!" Manny responded. "We won't know much about Basilisks so we might need to start theorising."

"I mean….You're partially right." Luz agreed as she sat down to have her breakfast. She turned to her daughter. "Hey Azura, there's another Good Witch Azura movie. It's an original story not based off the books and I was wondering if you'd like to see it with us tonight?"

Azura cringed. "Sorry Mama, but I have a lot to do tonight. Homework and finishing off my Palisman."

Luz, despite being disappointed, smiled at her daughter. "Of course. Of course. But we will see it in theatres together, right? Instead of when it's available on cable or to stream?"

"We will, yeah." Azura said.

"You're going to ace today." Luz said to her daughter. "Just like you do a lot of the times."

"So, what topics are you going to be doing today?" Amity asked her daughter.

"Beast keeping, some illusions, some history of wild magic, demonology, parapsychology and the main one, Abomination." Azura replied.

"You think you got it down, this time?" Luz asked her daughter. "I know you're struggling with your Abomination studies."

Azura stood up from her chair and placed a small pot on the floor. "I think I got it this time." She drew a purple spell circle and she began concentrate on summoning her Abomination while her family watched on in anticipation. "Abomination, rise!" She raised her arms high in the air.

But instead of having the effect it wanted, she accidentally caused the pot to tilt to the right and for the lid to fall off. Causing some Abomination goo to leak out.

Azura groaned. "Aww dang it! I worked so hard!"

"Maybe the trick is to yell 'Abomination, spill!' And it will rise." Manny suggested.

"Not helping, Manny." Azura said.

Amity was about to clean up the mess but then got stopped by Manny raising his hand. "No need, Mom." The youngest Noceda twirled his finger and managed to make the Abomination slither back into its pot.

Luz applauded her son. "Muy bueno. Can't wait for you to finally get into Hexside, Mijo." Luz said while she ruffled her son's hair.

"Yeah…." Manny said while giving off a reluctant look.

Amity looked at her watch that was biting her arm and groaned. "Oh dear. I'm gonna be late for work." She shoved the omelette in her mouth. "Do you need a lift Azura?" Amity asked her daughter with her mouthful.

"Nah, I can walk." Azura replied while getting off her seat and picking up her bag.

"Okay, be safe." Amity said as she rolled up her map and picked up a bag on the floor.

"Have a great day at work, sweet potato." Luz said to her wife.

The two shared a quick kiss on the lips. "This meeting means a lot to me, I'd hate to be late for it." She tried to summon Ghost, her Palisman, but groaned when she realised that her Palisman wasn't coming. "Ghost? Ghost!" She turned around to see her Palisman playing with a ball of yarn with Stringbean, whom had turned into a cat. "Ghost! Come on!"

Once her Mom left, Azura had walked towards the small cottage of the Park residence. Home to well renowned Palisman Carver, Hunter; And head coach of Hexside's Flyer Derby team, Willow. The home itself was secluded from the town and was in the woods. Hunter said it was due to being close to the Palistrom wood but it was probably more to do with avoiding stress from town. Plus, Willow had grown a garden filled with various plants and vegetables. Some were even fruits from the Human Realm.

Azura began to walk toward the house but then looked on the roof where she saw someone she knew. Because on the rooftop stood a girl around Azura's age with circular specs, light cream skin, blonde hair and a small round nose. It was Hunter and Willow's daughter/Azura's cousin, Evelyn Park.

The cousin part came from the fact that Darius was Hunter's dad and he married Alador, her mother's dad which in a way made Hunter her uncle so therefore, Evelyn was her cousin and his marriage to Willow made her, her aunt.

The daughter of Hunter and Willow stood on the roof taking a lot of deep breaths. "You can do this. You can do this." She took a deep breath and began to perform a handstand on the roof. Then, she began to walk on her hands. Forward and backwards.

Then, she jumped back up and summoned some dumbbells and began to lift them. "Okay! Okay! Okay! I got this!"

She tossed them aside and summoned illusions of some blank faces. One of them tapped her on the shoulder. "Won't you look at that! If it isn't a Half-A-Witch Evelyn!" It exclaimed.

Evelyn grinned. "Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately? Because I don't think the mirror was reflecting how ugly you are."

"Is your dad going to kill you and resurrect you just like his uncle did to him?" Another one of the blank faces asked.

"No. Is your dad ever going to love you?" Evelyn retorted.

"Yeah, you tell them Evelyn!" Azura yelled out to their cousin.

The presence of her cousin caused Evelyn to flinch and to stumble. "A-Azura?"

"Aww, what's the matter?" One of the faceless bodies asked. "Don't wanna face us?"

Evelyn began to stutter as she stumbled backwards, going towards the ledge. This sight made Azura panic since her cousin was about to fall. "EVELYN!"

She fell off the roof and was about to be saved by Azura, whom was about to summon a plant spell. But then, she got caught by a golden blur and gently placed on her feet.

Turns out the blur that saved her, was her Dad, Hunter. Over the last 26 years, he had gotten a bit more muscular in the arms probably due to his Palisman carving and was now wearing a pair of thin glasses. And ever since becoming a Dad, he was a bit protective when it comes to her safety.

He was currently checking his daughter for any kind of bruises and helped her adjust her glasses. "Evelyn, are you okay?" Hunter asked his shook up daughter.

"I'm alright, Dad." Evelyn said.

"Did you trip?" Hunter asked. "Were you at all terrified by something?"

His wife, the now much more buffer Willow, ran out of the house dressed in her dark green workout gear. "Evelyn, are you okay?" She ran towards her daughter to inspect her.

"She says she's fine, Willow." Hunter said. "But I don't know how bad she got herself hurt."

"I'm not hurt….I just tripped." Evelyn said.

"What have we said about working out on the roof?" The concerned father asked. "Don't you know how dangerous it is?"

Evelyn shuddered. "I…I know….I was just….I was just…."

Willow sighed. "You were trying to gain confidence, weren't you?"

Evelyn had very low self esteem issues. She could do a lot of things, but seemed to have trouble showing them towards people. Even her own parents.

"Yeah. I was so close!" She exclaimed. "But I got disrupted!"

The parents looked over her shoulder and saw their niece, waving to them. "Hey Aunt Willow, hey Uncle Hunter! Sorry about scaring Evelyn."

"That's alright." Hunter assured his niece.

"Was she amazing though?" Willow asked.

"Willow!" Hunter exclaimed.

"What?" Willow asked.

"Hey Evelyn, you were great though." Azura assured her cousin.

Evelyn sighed as she picked up her bag. "Thanks Azura." Her lack of confidence made Azura feel sorry for her cousin. She was really good, yet she was still scared of showing it to people.

But Azura knew that she wouldn't want her cousin to be late. "Come on. We don't wanna be late." Azura and Evelyn began to walk to Hexside while her parents waved her goodbye.

"Have a great day at school sweetie!" Hunter yelled out. "Make sure you have all your stuff! And if you've forgotten your lunch, make sure you have snails! And for Titan's sake, be safe!"

Willow nudged her husband's side. "Hunter, she isn't gonna gain confidence with you being so protective."

Hunter sighed. "I know. I just can't control my parental instincts. Least, I am more restrained compared to the last time. She is wearing appropriate attire right? I can't have her be humiliated!"

Willow rolled her eyes. "Come on. I could use a bit of a workout."

"Weren't you just working out?" Hunter asked his wife.

Willow grinned. "I was." She raised a mischievous eyebrow at her husband whom was clueless at first but then went wide eyed as he figured out

"Oh! Oh! Oh! I get it now." Hunter said.

"Come, Mr Park." Willow said before picking up her husband, bridal style and carrying him straight back into their home.

Later, Azura and Evelyn had arrived outside of a two story house somewhere in Bonesborough with a blue door. Azura was knocking on the door.

"Do you think she'll be up?" Evelyn asked Azura.

"When is Mildred never asleep?" Azura retorted.

"Well…..That would be in the morning since you need a consistent…"

"Evelyn." Azura interjected. "That was a rhetorical question. But you are right, that should be when Mildred should be awake."

"I mean, she must have some kind of sleep schedule, right?" Evelyn asked before a witch with messy hair, peach skin and opened the door dressed in purple shorts and a grey tank top. She was holding a cup of coffee in one hand and using her other to scratch her stomach.

This was Mildred Porter, the adopted daughter of Gus Porter and Azura's lazy friend. "Yeah?"

"Uh….Hey Mildred." Azura said. "Did you just get up?"

She took a sip of her coffee. "No. I was awake when Dad said 'Mildred, me and Alistair are going. You better get ready for school!' Or something along those lines."

Azura groaned. "Mildred, we have 15 minutes till school starts!"

"Relax….I came prepared in case I was going to be late for school." She tore off her pyjamas to reveal that she was wearing her Hexside uniform.

Whereas Azura was surprised, Evelyn looked like she was baffled by one thing. "Was the skin she was wearing fake?"

"The less said, the better." Mildred replied as she reached into her pocket while walking out of her home while finishing her coffee. "Hey, did anyone bring toothpaste?"

Azura and Evelyn just looked on at their lazy yet somehow prepared friend with perplexed expressions before they just closed her door and began walking to Hexside.

Later, the trio were walking down the marketplace of Bonesborough and straight to Hexside. Mildred was currently brushing her hair while she walked. She then tossed her hairbrush aside but Azura caught it with a levitation spell and put it in her bag.

"Are you done, Mildred?" Azura asked.

"Nope." She reached into her sleeve and pulled out a pair square specs. She looked at the pair of glasses before throwing them away. "Nah. Those won't do." She then flicked her other wrist and summoned another pair of glasses which were circular. She put them on and turned to her friends. "What do you think?"

Evelyn and Azura gave their friend unimpressed looks. "You look nice but you're still lazy." Azura said.

"Exactly." Evelyn agreed.

Mildred shrugged her shoulders. "Eh." They continued walking down the street with the cousins expecting some witty comeback from their friend.

They gave each other glances as they pass a graffitied sign on a tavern that read 'Ronda was here' and another that said 'Lueb Velvet's turf' and another that said 'Belos brought order.'

"Uh…..No witty comeback?" Azura asked.

"You know I'm too lazy for that." Mildred retorted before noticing something. "Hey look, morning entertainment."

She pointed to Adrian Graye, the ex head of the illusion Coven, standing on a box and standing in front of a sign that read 'Reinstate the Coven system.' He had a small crowd of three whom were watching. Six now with Azura, Evelyn and Mildred watching the act.

"The Coven system brought order to all of us!" Adrian yelled. "Yes! Belos was a mad human who tried to kill us all! But the Coven system did bring order to everyone here! It gave us peace, security, justice and freedom!"

The girls sighed in annoyance. "Uh, him again." Azura said. "Adrian. My Grandy said that he was such a diva."

"My Dad told me about him." Evelyn said. "He tried to capture your dad, Mildred and tried to put him in the Abomination Coven."

Mildred briefly narrowed her eyes at the man. "Oh, did he now?" She then shrugged her shoulders. "Well, he clearly failed."

"Now, do you have any questions about the Coven system?" Adrian asked.

Mildred raised her hand. "Uh….Define freedom."

Instead of blubbering, Adrian just beamed. "Well, freedom from Wild Magic." He replied. "Can't you see the destruction it causes on people? It causes pain, misery and destruction." He pointed to behind the crowd. "Look! Over there!"

The crowd looked at what Adrian was pointing at but it was just Harvey Park, one of Evelyn's grandpas on her mother's side, rebuilding a small hut with a mixture of construction magic and Abomination magic.

Tinella looked at the witch with a smile. "Thank you, good sir." She then used magic to summon a huge stack of snails that he happily accepted. "For your service."

The crowd just turned back at Adrian with blank expressions on their faces. Adrian just didn't look nervous at all, he looked more confident.

"You see?! Where did that talking breath mint get the money?!" Adrian exclaimed.

Tinella froze at the insult. "Bweath mint?!"

"If the Coven system becomes reinstated, it will bring order and dignity back into the Isles!" During Adrian's speech, Azura grinned and commanded some vines to grab him by the waistline of his pants. "That's right! Even dignity to me!" Then, Azura commanded the vines to pull his pants down, revealing his white underwear.

This display of public humiliation made the small crowd laugh while Adrian panicked due to his embarrassment. He casted an illusion to make it look like he was now wearing pants, but Azura just reversed that illusion and even changed the colour of Adrian's underwear to polka dots.

"Polka dots?!" Adrian exclaimed. "I hate polka dots!"

Everyone continued to laugh out loud at Adrian's dismay before the former head of the Coven Head of the Illusions ran away with his dignity broken.

Evelyn was about to join in on the fun, but then fumbled as she realised that there was people around her and the fear of screwing up came back to her thoughts and she sighed.

Later, the trio made to Hexside. Under new management after the fall of the Coven system. They looked at the statue of the former principal, Hieronymus Bump which was erected just outside the main entrance. But the statue had him standing on top of a slaughtered lion-like beast with a sword in his hand.

There was a sign that read 'The best principal that ever will be.' Then, the very old Principal Bump showed up from behind the statue and sighed. "I really don't like that statue."

"I'll deal with it later." Mildred assured him.

"Thank you, Ms Porter." The ancient principal said before walking away to tend to his garden.

"You're not going to deal with that, aren't you?" Azura asked.

"No." Mildred replied before they began to walk into the school.

"Hey Azura, it was cool what you did to Adrian." Evelyn said to her cousin. "You really are close to becoming a powerful witch if you can reverse an illusion like that."

Azura shrugged her shoulders. "Oh please, don't make me brag, my dear cousin. But yes, I was pretty powerful."

"Show off." Mildred said.

"Hey, you use your magic to put yourself to sleep." Azura retorted.

"Touché." Mildred responded. "By the way, have you finally learned how to work Abominatiom magic."

Azura took off her backpack and began to reach into it. And with all her might, she pulled out the Abomination pot from the very small backpack and placed it on the ground.

"Alright ladies, prepare to be amazed!" Azura declared to her girl duo who all had various reactions. Evelyn was excited while Mildred looked like she just didn't care. Azura took a deep breath and began to talk to herself.

"You can do this, Azura. You can do this." She said to herself. "This morning was just a mess-up that will not affect anything." She took a deep breath. "Abomination rise!" But instead of rising, the Abomination shot upwards into the sky before crashing back into the pot with a big splash, causing it to hit Azura, Evelyn and Mildred, as well as a few passing students.

One student groaned in disappointment. "Dang it! This is the first time this has happened to me! Why Titan, why?!"

"Hey don't bring my uncle into this!" Azura demanded.

Suddenly, they heard some slow sarcastic claps. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the half-a-witch trio." Said an obnoxious, flamboyant, narcissistic voice.

Approaching the group were a trio of students. One of them was a black haired student with peach skin, piercings all over her face such as her lips, eyebrows, ears, nose, tongue, lips and teeth; The other was a light blue witch with dark blue hair tied into a ponytail, a pointy nose and three eyes with one being on his forehead; And the one in the centre was one with purple skin with a growing moustache, black poofy hair, a fish-like face and an earring on one of his ears.

Azura sighed. "Hey Jakob, hey Floz, hey Rentley."

Rentley, the blue witch gave Azura a wave. "Hey Azura."

"Well, looks like the Half-A-Witch trio has been covered by the human Half-A-Witch's mess." Jakob, the obnoxious narcissistic remarked. "Such a shame. She was meant to be so powerful. And Evelyn, Grimwalker Half-A-Witch, still struggling to show how terrible you are."

Evelyn turned red in the face and hid her face behind her hands so she wouldn't let anyone look at her annoyed and embarrassed face.

Mildred raised a hand. "Uh….You do realise I'm a witch right?"

"Well, you're hanging out with a bunch of Half-A-Witches so that makes you one." He retorted, causing Floz to laugh while Rentley just rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Look Jakob, why don't you just leave us alone?" Azura asked. "Why don't you bother someone else?"

"Listen to her Jakob, she isn't worth our time." Rentley said. "Let's just do something else."

Jakob briefly narrowed his eyes at the blue skinned with before he smiled with a flirtatious look. "Mmm, you're lucky you're cute." He kissed his cheek before walking away with Floz following. "We'll come back soon, Half-A-Witch trio. Oh, and I don't wish you good luck on your test, Half Ears."

Azura briefly touched her ears, feeling somewhat hurt by his insult while Evelyn looked equally hurt by being called Half-A-Witch.

"Hey Rentley, why do you even go out with this guy?" Mildred asked him.

Rentley sighed. "It's complicated."

"Honey, are you coming?!" Jakob called out to his boyfriend, who sighed.

"I'll see you guys later." Rentley said before running off towards his group, leaving the trio on their own.

Azura narrowed her eyes at Jakob with a determined look on her face while Evelyn just looked sad. "Why does he keep doing this?"

"He's just jealous." Azura replied. "I mean, look at us. We're the children of the Hexsquad, saviours of the Boiling Isles. It's clear that he's just jealous that his parents are just school bullies who don't know how to raise a child."

"And you're set on proving that jerk wrong about being Half-A-Witch, right?" Mildred asked her best friend.

Azura grinned. "Oh yeah, you know I am. I am going to ace every class, even Abomination. Unless I get beaten by some student who happens to be better than me, leading to some hilarious consequences due to my jealousy!"

Evelyn and Mildred gave Azura a perplexed look on their face. "Very specific." Evelyn remarked.

"If this happens, you owe me 12 snails." Mildred said.
