In the potion class at Hexside, with many of the students in attendance. This included Azura, Hecate, Evelyn and Jakob whom were being instructed by their teacher. Potions teacher, Barcus Pawter was standing in front of class teaching his students. He was barking his commands that every one of his students understood.

"Okay class, I want you to present me your sleeping potions. Now I know that you're excited, I need you to tell me what is the one thing can't do when mixing in a sleeping potion."

"When mixing in Saturn Fly Traps, never put all of it in or half, only two-thirds of its stem." The students replied.

"That's right." Barcus barked. "Now, I've read your paperwork and I am not impressed with most of them. Jakob Widebent, oracle magic can't be used for every potion."

"Yes they can!" Jakob whined. "I mean, everyone needs to know the faithful consequences of consuming!"

"Remember what happened to my translator?" Barcus asked.

"He couldn't handle it." Jakob whined while he folded his arms.

"He's still up there banging his head on the ceiling." Barcus motioned his students to a teacher with blonde hair and wrinkles on top of the ceiling. They appeared to be on their knees smashing their head against it at high speed.

"See? Okay, Noceda and Repeels, you're doing amazing as students."

"Half-A-Witches!"

"Mr Widebent!"

Jakob huffed. "Sorry!"

"Thanks Mr Pawter!" Hecate exclaimed as she stood up. "Me and Azura will continually be consistent with our grades and…"

Azura placed her hand on Hecate's shoulder. "Hecate, I think they got it."

Hecate sat down on her seat. "Sorry, sir."

"Next, Ms Park."

When Evelyn heard her name, she shifted and adjusted her glasses to make herself more presentable and less awkward. "Y…Y….Y…Yes?"

"You did well with your quiz sheet." Barcus explained. "Though I wish there was more detail with question four. It's pretty passable."

Evelyn gave an awkward smile. "Th-Thanks, Mr Pawter."

"Now, would you like to present your potion to the class?"

Evelyn looked really nervous and unconfident but she quickly adjusted herself to look confident. She picked up the potion that was on her desk and began strolling to the front of the classroom. "I got this. I got this. I got this." She said to herself.

But when she got to the front of the class, she accidentally dropped her potion, causing it to shatter on the floor and for the liquid to spill everywhere.

Everyone but Jakob laughed at her expense as she struggled to pick up the glass and place the liquid safely into a canister.

"No! I got this….I….Don't have this." Evelyn sighed.

Barcus places a comforting paw on his students back. "You get a B+ if that makes you better."

Later at lunch, Evelyn sat in shame as she ate her lunch with Azura, Hecate and Mildred. Whereas Evelyn was playing around with her food, Mildred was picking her nose, Hecate was reading a newspaper while Azura was explaining her home life.

"I'm still trying to find a job that suits me." Azura explained. "I mean, I get work is hard but finding a job that suits you is harder. On top of that, Mom is trying to understand the human condition known as autism while Mami woke up from a nightmare recently."

"Wow, some home life." Mildred remarked.

"On the topic of finding a job, I know what it was like finding the right thing that suits you." Hecate said as she put down the newspaper with a headline that read 'Belos supporters vandalise 'Diligence of the Isles' statue. The picture itself had a drawing of a purple drawing of what appeared to be some kind of ninja known as the Spook. "By the way, did you learn any new skills? I learnt that oracle magic can show the consequences of different mixtures. Just watch." She spins a spell circle at her apple blood and her pudding and an oracle shows them what happens if you mix the, together. It just showed an illusion of Hecate vomiting.

"Aww! Why did you need to show it?!" Mildred groaned. "The unpredictability is what makes it fun."

"And dangerous." Hecate pointed out.

"Hence, fun." Mildred said.

"Well, I learnt how to do two spells at the same time." Azura replied. "For example…." She drew a spell circle to make herself look like her aunt Willow while performing some plant magic at the same time by summing some vines from the floor.

"Did you really need to take the form of my Mom?" Evelyn asked.

"Sorry, first thing I thought of." Azura turned back into herself and shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry if that was awkward."

"Not really." Mildred replied. "I mean, Evelyn's mom is hot."

"Mildred!" Evelyn exclaimed as her cheeks turned red.

"What?" Mildred asked. "We were all thinking it."

"I wasn't!" Evelyn argued.

"Why are you two friends with her again?" Hecate asked Azura.

"I'll explain her backstory some other time." Azura's smile then turned into a frown. "One thing I still suck at is Abomination." She tries to summon an Abomination out of the pot, but it just jumped out and landed on the floor. The half human sighed while Hecate just patted her on her back.

"Don't worry." Hecate assured her. "You'll get there."

Suddenly, they notice the Abomination jump back into the pot which caused Azura and Hecate to stare at it in surprise.

"Thanks Mildred." Azura said.

Mildred stared at her friends in confusion. "UH….You know I'd just leave that mess there, right?"

They turned to Evelyn, whom was looking away in embarrassment. This meant that she helped clean up the mess without anyone noticing.

"Evelyn?" Azura asked.

The witch quickly hid her face behind her hands to try and hide her embarrassment, but her friends put the pieces together.

"Come on Evelyn, don't be ashamed." Hecate said. "I had no idea you were somewhat decent at Abominations."

"Not that I'm intimidated by it, at all." Azura said while gripping on to her fork, hard. "But you are pretty solid. That was level two."

Evelyn cringed. "You saw it?" She hid her hands behind her face and whined.

"Guys, she still doesn't have confidence." Mildred said. "Come on Evelyn, couldn't you imagine people in their underwear? That usually helps people with their confidence."

"Does that include my parents?!" Evelyn exclaimed.

Mildred thought about it for a second and then gagged. "Okay. Don't imagine people in their underwear. Just…I don't have any useful advice so you're on your own."

Azura and Hecate gave Evelyn some comforting stares. "Don't worry, Evelyn. You'll get your confidence." Hecate said.

"Is it your Dad being overprotective?" Azura asked. "Are you worried that every time you try something you're scared he'll come out of nowhere and stop you?"

Evelyn shuffled. "That's not it. And besides, my Dad's not that overprotective." Suddenly, Evelyn heard a notification bell coming from her pocket.

She summoned her scroll where it appears she got a message from her Dad that read 'Hey little pancake, are you okay? Are you safe? Did you do well? Text me back as soon as you can. Okay? Xxx'

Evelyn groaned and slammed her head on the table. "Uhhhh…..Why?!"

"Because he loves you." Mildred replied.

"Evelyn, I think the best way to gain your confidence is to start off small." Azura suggested. "Maybe you could, assert your dominance. Show people you're a force to be reckoned with."

Evelyn rubbed her shoulder nervously. "I'll try."

Just then, Jakob and his cronies approached the girls. "Well! Well! Well! Well! Welley! Well! Look who it is! The Half-A-Witch group!"

"Not Half-A-Witch." Mildred reminded him.

"Neither am I." Hecate said.

Rentley, whom was busy reading from his scroll, placed a hand on his boyfriend's shoulder. "Jakob, I want to discuss these Belos supporters."

"We will." Jakob assured his boyfriend. "Like I was saying, the Half-A-Witch group and their Grimwitch friend."

"Grimwitch?" Mildred asked.

"Grimwalker and witch. Which is something that Evelyn is." He explained. "Yes, Evelyn is a Grimwalker, just like her dad."

Evelyn started to get angry with Jakob's words that she began to tighten her grip on her lunch tray. "Jakob, enough!" Hecate demanded.

Azura rolled up her sleeve, ready to fight him. "Don't make me tear off that bit of moustache off your face."

"Says the student who can't even do Abominations just like her disappointed Mom." Jakob retorted. "But Evelyn's weaker because she refuses to show her skills! I haven't seen how good she is!"

"She is good!" Azura argued while Evelyn looked like she was about to stand up.

"Oh yeah?! Why should I believe you?! Strongest witch in the entire school." He scoffed. "You're just saying that to make your friend feel better and not tell her right to her face that she is nothing but a dumb, stupid, powerless, weak, Half-A-Witch."

Then, like an unexpected disaster, Evelyn stood up and slammed her lunch tray right in Jakob's face, causing him to be knocked to the floor.

Everyone in the cafeteria, including Azura, Hecate, Rentley and Mildred, gasped in shock over what had happened. Evelyn, the most unconfident student in the entire school and one that is underestimated by a lot of her peers, just single handedly took out Jakob with one hit of her dinner tray.

Evelyn realised what she did and dropped her dinner tray in shock. She panted as she looked at what she did. She was happy that she stood up for herself but at the same time, she instantly regretted standing up to her bully.

"Okay, when I said assert yourself, I meant have a comeback prepared." Azura said.
