At the Blockerhon residence and inside Rentley's bedroom, Rentley and his boyfriend Jakob were reading through a newspaper together to learn about the Belos supporters.

In Rentley's bedroom, there were a bunch of stuff that a common male teenage witch would have. There was a framed picture of him and his Moms, a framed picture of him and his boyfriend, a huge poster of Willow Park, coach of the flyer derby; A small poster of Boscha; Head coach of the Grudgeby team; A poster for a show called Deviations of the Norm, a sitcom based on Alador Blight's divorce from Odalia; And what appeared to be a stag Palisman that wasn't alive yet due to Rentley not announcing his deepest desire.

Rentley was currently reading an article about how Luz Noceda was attacked in her own home by Belos supporters or as they're now referred to as the Province of Belos and how she had luckily survived and was now recovering in the healing house, the Demon Realm equivalent of a hospital. She was just waiting for when she could come out.

Whereas Rentley was knee deep in reading every last detail of the paper, his boyfriend on the other hand, was bored.

"Uh! Why can't we just go out tonight?!" Jakob whined like an obnoxious animal.

"Because Luz Noceda was attacked by the Province of Belos and I'm just a little worried, right now." Rentley explained.

"Oh please!" Jakob whined as he rested his head on his boyfriend's lap. "Just leave it alone! They want attention!"

"Attention?!" Rentley responded. "They're hurting people. Can you not see?"

Jakob sat up. "It's not like they're hurting people you care about. It's just Luz Noceda. The human who stole your mother's one true love."

Rentley groaned. "Amity Noceda was not my Mom's true love."

Then, a woman in her forties with pale skin and mint green hair walked in the bedroom wearing a short sleeved pink t-shirt and green pants. This was Harriet Blockerhon, Rentley's Mama.

"Who was not your mom's true love?" Harriet asked her son with a squeaky, sweet and tender tone of voice.

"It's okay Mama, I was just telling Jakob and mom was not interested with Amity Noceda." Rentley assured his mother.

"I think she was at one point." Harriet said. "But that's all in the past. Because if I find out that your mother has an obsession with that gooey witch then I will immediately turn her into a rat and trap her in a cage. No wait, that's too far. Then I'll turn her into a rat and force her to go to Dr Tholomue." She then realised that her son had a guest. "Oh, hi Jakob."

"Hi Mrs Blockerhon." Jakob said.

"How's your dad?" Harriet asked. "Still ominous?"

"Still ominous." Jakob replied.

"Okay, if you need anything Rentley, me and your Mom are downstairs having some tea and remember be as quiet as possible." Harriet said.

"What do you think we do?!" Rentley asked.

"You think me and your Mom can't hear you argue?" Harriet retorted before closing the door on her son.

Rentley sighed. "I guess we do argue a lot."

"Well, it's a relationship…" Jakob kissed his cheek. "…We're healthy."

"Back at the discussion at hand." Rentley said. "The Province of Belos attacked Luz Noceda, what's to say they won't attack your family?"

Jakob grinned with confidence. "Believe me they won't."

"How would you feel if they attacked me?"

"Believe me, you're too cute to be taken down." Jakob poked his boyfriend's cheek.

"Thanks." Rentley said.

"But I'm not interested in the whole Belos thing." Jakob said. "If you're gonna talk to anyone about it, talk to someone who is actually interested." He got off his boyfriend's bed. "Right now, I need to get to my job."

Rentley stared at his boyfriend in surprise. "You have a job?"

Jakob sat on the edge of his boyfriend's window. "Well if you spent more time worrying about me instead of those Belos supporters then maybe you'd have known." He jumped out the window to go to his so-called job.

Rentley stayed behind to think about what Jakob said about telling people that actually care. So, he thought he'd tell the people who should care.

Downstairs in the living room, Boscha and her wife, Harriet, were drinking some homemade tea together by the fireplace where a giant portrait of her sitting on a giant chair, her wife holding her by her hand while their son was standing to attention in the front.

Boscha and Harriet met when Harriet transferred from St Epidurm. At first, Boscha only went out with Harriet just to spite Lumity, but eventually Boscha did fall in love with her. Even if she was a little clueless and didn't stand up for herself. As Boscha got older, her hair grew longer. Now instead of it being in a ponytail, she just let her long hair hung.

The wives had been sitting in place for the last hour listening to the crackling of the fire. "How is the sandwich restaurant dear?" Boscha asked.

"Oh, sweetie, it's going quite swell." Harriet replied. "Today we…"

"My work was terrible!" Boscha interjected her wife. "Not a lot of people came to Grudgeby today due to…Fire flue or whatever!"

"What about our son?" Harriet asked.

"My star player was out because he'd rather worry about those…Belos supporters or whatever they support." Boscha said.

"Uh….Belos."

"Like I said dear, whatever."

Rentley came down the stairs looking worried. "Moms, can I talk for a moment?"

"You're speaking currently, son." Boscha retorted.

"I know, but I need to talk about the Province of Belos." He explained.

"Oh, what's the matter?" Harriet asked her son.

"Don't indulge in his hobby, dear." Boscha said before drinking a cup from her saucer.

"It's not a hobby, Mom!" Rentley argued. "I'm just terrified after Mrs Noceda was attacked in her own home! I'm worried the same might happen to you two! We're living in a time where they're attacks are getting worse and all I need is some proof that these witches are gonna be dealt with."

Boscha looked like she didn't care whereas her wife looked concerned. "Oh, my little griffin, nothing will happen." Harriet said.

"Actually, something will happen if all you do is keep worrying." Boscha got up off her chair and walked towards her son. "Worrying is not only going to get me or your mama hurt, but it could also get you hurt."

"As long as they're still about, you could still…"

Boscha pressed her finger to her son's lips. "Ssssshhhhh. Ssssssshhhh. Hush now my star player. Worrying is not going to do you any good. If you keep worrying about all these things then it's going to get you in so much trouble. I wouldn't want to lose my little Grudgeby player. Now, go up to bed and don't let it bother you one bit." She shoved her son upstairs to his bedroom.

"Mom…I…"

"Don't argue Rentley!" Boscha interjected. "Go up to bed!"

Rentley, instead of arguing with his mom, went up to his bedroom while his moms stayed downstairs. Boscha looked smug and uncaring while Harriet looked at her wife with worry.

"Boscha, I do think we need to be concerned a little." Harriet said. "I mean, if they can attack Luz, then they can attack anyone."

Boscha sighed at her wife and pressed her hand on her head. "Harriet, just don't. Just don't. It won't help."

Back upstairs, Rentley instead of being angry with his Mom, was suspicious of her behaviour. Yeah she was harsh on him and didn't listen, but the fact the Belos supporters might attack her didn't seem to bother her one bit. It was awfully suspicious to him.

He heard the sound of the front door opening and looked out the window to see his mother was leaving, looking a tad suspicious. She wore a long coat and was looking around the neighbourhood they were living in for any sign of anyone watching her.

Once she saw that the coast was clear, she walked away. But Rentley knew his mother was acting suspicious and she must know something of the Belos supporters due to her reaction. He knew he had to do something so he had to investigate.

He put on his coat and opened the window to his bedroom and began to climb out. But then, his Mama entered the room with a tray of cookies.

"Rentley, I was wondering if you wanted some cookies before you…" She froze and she saw that he was climbing out the window which led to an awkward stare down between the two.

"Mama, I can explain."

Harriet looked disappointed. "Rentley Rufus Blockerhon, you are 15 years old and a teenager."

"And the point is?" Rentley asked.

Harriet smiled. "You have my permission to sneak out your bedroom. I did the same thing to see your mother when I was your age. Just come home safe and sound." She closed the door to her son's bedroom.

Rentley gave a relieved smile. Relieved that he could investigate. Relieved that at least one of his Mom's was awesome.
