At the Noceda residence, Azura and Manny were sitting in the living room doing their own thing. Azura was on her scroll while Manny was reading his Doctor What comic.
"Hey Azura, do you ever get the feeling your parents don't understand you?" Manny asked.
"You mean our Moms?" Azura asked. "What is it?"
Manny sighed. "Forget it." Manny was having this worrying thought that his Mom did not love him for him due to his condition that he didn't know he had until now. His Mom recently had been a little mean and not as understanding as she used to so they were not in speaking terms at the moment.
Then, Luz and Amity walked in with their respective going out wear. Luz dressed in a fancy suit with an indigo tie while Amity was in a purple shoulder strapless dress with the strap being around her neck and a belt around her waist.
"Okay kids, Uncle Gus will arrive shortly." Luz said.
"But Mami, why Uncle Gus?!" Manny exclaimed. "Why not Aunt Ronda?! She's fun!"
"Also, I'm fifteen, why can't I stay here and babysit my brother?" Azura asked with an annoyed expression.
"Okay, I'll answer these one at time." Luz said. "Because Mijo, Aunt Ronda is…."
"A crook." Amity interjected while checking her reflection in her powder mirror.
"Well…She does have a criminal record." Luz sighed. "Also Azura, me and your mother are kind of skeptical about you being left on your own after the last few incidents."
"Come on, that school incident wasn't me, it was Aunt Ronda!" Azura argued. "Even though, I did agree to it. Oh, and that time where Alistair got captured, that was Mildred. That time I had my friends turn Jakob into a fish monster. Or that museum incident, I did not predict the magic tablet and I was trying to defend it from statue Belos which I burnt in self defence. And Evelyn attacking Bonesborough due to her identity crisis was not on me but me and Hecate were doing some illegal spying….Okay, I see where you're coming from."
"Exactly." Amity said. "We'll be back at around late or if things get too weird than really early." Then there was a knock on the door.
"That will be the babysitter." Luz said before she opened the door to Gus.
"Hey Luz." Gus said.
"Gus, thanks for doing this." Luz said. "Sorry you had to leave your kids."
"Relax, I can't trust Mildred so I got Matt as a babysitter." Gus responded.
"Okay, when it gets late, make sure the kids get to bed." Amity said.
"Relax Amity, you can trust good old reliable Uncle Gus." He winked at the wives.
"Okay kids see ya." Amity stared at her son with guilt on her face over how she had been treating him. "I'll see you soon, Manny." But instead of saying something, Manny just flipped the page of his comic which caused Amity to sigh sadly before leaving the house. They jumped on their Palismen and took off to enjoy whatever is going on tonight.
"Goodbye Luz, goodbye Amity!" Gus waved before closing the door. When he turned back to the kids however, he just grinned mischievously. "So, the parents are gone and we're alone so the question is, what sort of chaotic fun should we do?" He removed what looked like a concealment stone from his neck and in a puff of smoke, turned into Ronda.
When he realised who was actually there, Manny smiled with glee while Azura was in shock. "Aunt Ronda?!"
"Aunt Ronda?!" Azura exclaimed.
"Bingo!" Ronda spread her arms out as if she were presenting herself.
"No! No! No!" Azura stood up in frustration. "No! No! Whatever you have planned, no!"
Ronda seemed offended. "What? I'm just gonna babysit my favourite nephew and niece. Is that a problem?" She then remembered something important. "Oh wait, you're still mad about what happened at Hexside."
"You ran away!" Azura reminded her.
"Hey, I had no idea the beast was untameable." Ronda protested.
"The school was still destroyed!" Azura argued.
"Look Azura, just trust your aunt, there will be no Aunt Ronda shenanigans." Ronda assured her niece. "It will just me, you and Manny enjoying this lovely night and maybe breaking a few rules."
Azura groaned. "Of course. Goodnight you two. I won't be there to bail you out." Azura walked upstairs toward her bedroom while Ronda blew a raspberry.
"What a buzzkill. Go out and do your studying and leave your brother!" She reached into her hair and pulled out her elixir. When she drank it all, she tossed the empty glass on the floor and smiled. "So Manny, who is ready to party?!"
"Yes!" Manny yelled with excitement.
And so, in a crazy packed full minutes, Ronda and Manny were breaking some stuff that Ronda probably stole while some music played in the background. They danced around a bonfire while burning some furniture that Ronda most likely stole.
They danced around in the living room not caring about the muddy footprints they were leaving behind. They also got into a super soaker fight which had most of the furniture end up being soaked.
Then at one point, they decided to prank call some people with a crow. Which included Hunter.
"Hello?" Hunter asked.
"Yo, is your refrigerator running?" Ronda asked.
"Oh yeah, it is running and my wife is trying to catch it." Hunter replied sarcastically. "Seriously Ronda, you're gonna have to try harder than that." He hung up on the phone and heard a loud rumble.
He turned around to see the refrigerator had grown some legs and then ran out of the house by crashing through the wall. "Willow! The refrigerator's been hexed again!"
Then, the two were watching some scary movie on the orb. Manny screamed most of the time while Ronda just laughed at him being scared.
While Azura was upstairs, covering her head with a pillow trying to block out the noise of everyone. "Titan, spare me now."
In the kitchen, Ronda was busy preparing an unhealthy snack for the both of them. "Earth brand waffle, cream whipped out of a cow, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, a dash of strawberry sauce, chocolate tear drops and a sprinkle of sugary candy pieces. I give you, Unhealthy Earth Snack Extravaganza."
"Yeah!" Manny began eating the waffle while tapping his head with his fingers that Ronda took notice of.
"That scary movie got you, huh?" Ronda asked.
"Yeah. It was really scary." Manny admitted. "I would have burst into tears but…I didn't. How did you know?"
"Cause when you're frustrated, you tap your head." Ronda remarked.
"Sorry."
"No, it's okay." Ronda assured him. "Just don't hurt yourself."
"Okay. Hey Aunt Ronda, do you ever get the feeling your Mom probably hates you because you were born wrong?"
"Hey compared to my Zizi, I was born wrong." Ronda said. "My criminal record is bigger than my Moms."
"Be serious!" Manny exclaimed.
"Well, they were strict with me but….I never felt like they hated me." Ronda replied as stood up to get herself a drink. "They just worry, ya know. Because since I am the daughter of Edalyn Clawthorne…" She pours a glass of apple blood in her glass and mixed it with her elixir. "….They just worry that I might have the owl beast curse."
"Do you feel like you have it?" Manny asked his aunt.
"Nah, not really." Ronda replied. "Don't know why I even drink this stuff. It doesn't even taste good even in apple blood. So why did you ask about Moms hating?"
"Well, I have a horrible feeling that Mom hates me because I'm autistic." Manny replied.
"So your Mom hates you because you draw better?" Ronda asked.
"No, it's because I'm not….I'm not….Normal." Manny replied. "It's just….A Human Realm condition that a percentage of people have. I struggle to learn which explains why I never got into Hexside because I keep failing all the right magical requirements, I sometimes can't keep eye contact when I talk to people and when things don't go my way I just completely lose myself."
"And….Your Mami thought that?"
"Well, I wasn't diagnosed until I met that Dr Waybright lady and now, Mom treats me like I'm a different person." Manny explained. "She talked to me like I couldn't talk and I remember one time, she yelled at me like I was a freak because I got scared for Mami and I lost control of myself."
"Eh, autistic or not, you're still my nephew." Ronda said.
"But what if Mom hates me just for existing?!" Manny began to have a panic attack. "Is the fact that I have a human condition alienating me from her?! I can't even speak to her because I'm scared she might…"
Ronda took Manny's hands gently and began to shush him. "Hey, hey, hey. None of that. Your Mom still loves ya, she's just struggling to show it at the moment because she's trying to figure it out. So please don't panic and don't worry about it. For now, let's just enjoy some junk food yo." She drank her elixir and threw it away once it was empty.
"Hey Ronda, you sure you need that?" He asked.
"Well, my Mom and ZiZi say I have to drink it." Ronda replied.
"Hey Ronda, what if there's a chance, that you don't have the Owl Beast curse?" Manny queried.
"A chance that I don't have it?" Ronda began to ponder. "Well, if I didn't then I wouldn't be drinking this disgusting stuff. You know what Manny, this just gives me a bright idea. We're gonna see if I don't turn to the owl beast if I don't drink the elixir."
"What would happen if you do?" He asked.
"Then I need you to put the elixir in me immediately." Ronda replied. "Who knows what sort of damage I'd cause if I turn out to be cursed?"
Good plan." Manny remarked before Ronda handed him her elixir. "Keep an eye on it. Now, do you want to watch some Doctor What? I promise I'll understand what's going on."
"Okay, sure." Manny said before he placed where the refrigerator should have been but was shocked to discover it was gone. "Hey, where's the refrigerator?"
"Freedom!" The two looked out the window to see his refrigerator run away with Park's.
"Okay, that would have been me, but I swear I had nothing to do with that." Ronda said.
Meanwhile, Luz and Amity were flying in the sky on their respective Palismen with Amity looking at her scroll in bafflement. "Hey Luz, there appears to be a runaway refrigerator epidemic going on in Bonesborough."
"Oh not again!" Luz exclaimed. "I swear if our refrigerator has been hexed I'm gonna be mad." She then smiled. "Oh look, we're here."
They flew down to greet Eda, Raine, Lilith and Hooty whom all appeared to be in the forest for something dressed in their formal gear. Eda in a dazzling maroon dress, Raine in a mixture of a suit and a skirt, Lilith in what looked like a fancier version of her work clothes and Hooty in a single bow tie.
"Hey Eda." Luz and her surrogate mother greeted each other with a hug.
"Where's King?" Amity asked. "He was supposed to be coming."
"He just got his wings so he might be a bit late." Lilith replied.
"Oh yeah, I heard of that, how's he doing?" Amity asked.
Suddenly, a large black blob crashed through the trees, landing in front of the Nocedas and Clawthornes. It stood up to reveal himself to be King dressed in a black robe to hide from the Province.
"Uh….I need to get used to these." King complained before being tackled by Luz in a hug.
"King! How are you doing in hiding?" Luz asked while her surrogate brother dropped the robe, revealing his huge wings that made Luz's eyes light up at how epic they looked.
"It gets a little lonely. But luckily, Greg and Reg are with me."
Then two ginger haired twins with orange skin arrived on their respective manatee Palismen. They were Greg and Reg Tenes, the twin members of the Scouts of the Governors. They had been tasked with keeping King company until the Province thing had been dealt with.
"You complete idiot!" Reg walked to his brother in frustration. "You were supposed to catch him if he were to fall!"
"It's your job as well!" Greg argued. "It's not our fault he can't control his flying properly!"
"I agree with you!" Reg argued back. "I think this will teach us a valuable lesson!"
"Agreed!" Greg yelled at his brother while the Nocedas and Clawthornes watched on.
"Well, better tell them to prepare extra!" Hooty exclaimed before slithering toward to the right. "Follow me as well, please." The group began to follow the trail of Hooty deep into the forest. They arrived just at a burning campfire with a pot hovering above it.
"So, why are we here again?" Eda asked her sister.
"Oh, it's for Hooty's family reunion." Lilith replied.
King froze in surprise. "Wait, Hooty has a family? I thought we were the only family he had."
Hooty soon slithered back. "Aww, it's nice you think that! But no, I have a small family of house demons left."
Amity seemed terrified. "A family of Hooties."
"There can't be that many." Luz said. "How many are there?"
"Oh, again, just a small bunch." Hooty replied. "Stand back while I summon them." Hooty took a deep breath and then made a loud obnoxious noise that sounded like 'Gahoot!' It echoed through the forest and the ground shook, causing everyone to almost lose their balance.
And from the ground, a parliament of owl tubes burst out from the ground all looking like Hooty but with various different colours. "Gahoot!" They all exclaimed in various ear grating and annoying voices. Everyone in attendance was in speechless horror in what they were seeing. Sure one Hooty was fine, but a ton of Hooties was definitely a sight that they wish they didn't need to see.
"Family! It's so nice to see you again, Hoot!" Hooty exclaimed happily. "Family, this is my other family! That's Luz, her wife Amity, Eda, her spouse Raine, their son King, King's escorts, Reg, Greg and my best friend, Lulu."
Lilith gave the family a wave. "Why greetings."
Luz and Amity gave each other nervous glances while staring at the strange family. "Hi…"
"Oh nice to meet you!"
"Splendid."
"Hoot!" All of the Hooties said at once.
"Other family, this is my family." Hooty took a deep breath. "My brother Booty, my cousin Cooty, my uncle Dooty, my Dad Footy, my Mom Gooty, my Aunt Jooty, my other uncle Kooty, my sister Looty, my grandpa Mooty, my grandma Nooty, my great Uncle Ooty, my great Aunt Pooty, my nephew Rooty, my niece Sooty, my youngest brother Tooty, my other uncle Vooty, my cousin Wooty, my great great uncle Yooty and finally my brother-in-law Zooty."
"Hello!" Tooty exclaimed.
"Greetings!" Zooty exclaimed.
"Hoot!" Nooty yelled.
"Are the little animals snacks?" Gooty asked.
The Nocedas and Clawthornes cringed at the sight they were witnessing before them. The family of Hooties greeted them in loud and friendly manners.
"Oh Titan help us." Reg said.
"I'm sorry guys, I can't." King responded.
Back at the Noceda residence, Manny and Ronda were busy watching Doctor What at a high volume just to annoy Azura whom was busy in her room trying to awaken her Palisman, Titan.
"I want to enjoy the quietness with a friend!" But still, the Palisman did not come to life. "Uh…I wish I could hang out with my friends tonight."
Downstairs, Ronda was staring at the orb in confusion while Manny was engaged with the show. "So wait, Ocean Singer is Amelie's daughter and Ocean is married to the Doctor whom was kissed by Amelie who happens to be his mother-in-law?"
"Yup." Manny replied.
"Boy that is one messed up family." Ronda chuckled. "Just like my own."
"You mean you had relatives making out with their in-laws?" Manny asked.
"I meant a comparison!" Ronda shoved her nephew's head. "Don't be so serious, kiddo!"
"So, it's been an hour since you last drank your elixir, how do you feel?" He asked.
"To tell you the truth kid…" She jumped up and began stretching. "….I feel great! Fabtastic in fact! I don't see any feathers, I don't have wings and more importantly, I don't have a taste for blood." She the looked nervous and groaned. "Oh no…I think I feel something." She then turned to Manny and made a snarling noise.
This sight made Manny alarmed. "Ronda! Ronda!" He fell off the couch and landed on his rear just as his aunt got on all fours.
She snarled aggressively and began to drool as she pounced towards Manny and began to nibble on his shoulder. He screamed before he realised something, she wasn't biting him. He looked and saw that she was laughing.
"Oh, the look on your face!" Ronda laughed.
"Ronda!" Manny yelled. "You had me worried!"
"And I am sorry if I did." Ronda laughed.
Then Manny laughed along with his aunt before the two stood up. "You did get me!"
"Okay, I'm gonna hit the John." Ronda said. "Don't play the episode without me. I'm hoping this episode explains some crazy stuff." She began walking toward the bathroom. "He made out with his mother-in-law."
When Ronda entered the bathroom, she felt her legs were cramping. "Uh….Growing pains. Wait, I'm 20, I should stop getting growing pains."
She turned on the tap and began to wash her face over the sink. When she looked in her reflection, she noticed a feather sprouting from her cheek. She was baffled but then just shrugged her shoulders and then tore it off. "Ow!"
Then, a few feathers sprouted from her lips and she began to become increasingly alarmed. Then, some feathers sprouted from her eyebrows causing her to pull them out. But then, more feathers began to sprout and she pulled them out but still more and more kept coming. She screamed as she saw her arms began to extend and her teeth began to turn to fangs.
Outside, Manny was hearing the screaming looking worried for his aunt. Azura approached her brother dressed in her pyjamas and a towel on her head.
"What's going on with Aunt Ronda?" Azura asked. "Is she okay?"
"She's just ate something bad." Manny replied. "At least judging by that screaming."
Azura pulled a disgusted look. "Hey Aunt Ronda, you better spray the bathroom once you're done." She heard a snarl. "Hey! I know it's a bathroom but we should at least make it smell a little nice." There was a roar. "Uh, I knew Aunt Ronda was difficult but this is immature even for her."
"Hey Aunt Ronda…" Manny knocked on the door. "….You okay?" The siblings heard a roar until something burst through the wall of the bathroom, leaving a giant hole.
Azura and Manny gasped as they got a good look at the creature. It had slender legs, a medium sized body, sharp fangs, knife-like claws, pitch orange eyes and light brown feathers all over their body.
The looked at the creature and saw that it was none other than their Aunt Ronda in their owl beast form. "Aunt Ronda?" Manny reacted.
The beast snarled at the kids like it was wanting to eat them. It roared at them causing the siblings to scream and run away.
It roared angrily and began to chase the siblings. They made a turn down the corridor just as the beast crashed into the wall and continued to chase them.
"In here!" Azura and Manny ran into her room and closed the door.
They pressed their backs against the door and began to pant. "Manny, are you okay?" Azura noticed her brother was tapping his head with anxiety and fear. "Manny?"
"It's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault." Manny cried.
"Hey, Manny, no it isn't." Azura assured him. "Aunt Ronda just forgot to drink her elixir."
"I did this." Manny cried. "It's my fault! I gave Ronda the idea that maybe she didn't have the curse and now….Look what happened! Mom's gonna kill me and hate me more!" He began hitting the door with the back of his head.
Azura immediately panicked and gently took hold of her brother's head. "Hey. None of that. Don't hurt yourself about it. Okay? Please don't."
Tears began to well up in Manny's eyes. "Why? Why did I do this, Azura? Why?! If I wasn't autistic than Mami wouldn't be left alone and get stabbed by The Spook then I…"
"Wait, Manny." Azura interjected. "You hear that?"
They heard whimpering outside the room. Azura, though hesitant, opened the door to see Ronda crying her eyes out in her beast form. Then, it forced its way in and moved toward Manny.
Manny was at first terrified but then noticed the look his Owl Beast aunt was giving him. It wasn't one of hunger or malice, but one like some kind of whimpering animal concerned for their owner's wellbeing.
"Aunt Ronda?" Manny reacted in confusion before she began to nuzzle him like a pet giving their owner love.
"Huh?" Manny was confused for a moment before Ronda began to lick him lovingly.
Manny laughed while his sister watched on in confusion and curiosity. "Uh….Aunt Ronda?"
Aunt Ronda took a glance at Azura before turning it back to Manny, whom began to stroke her like she were a dog. "Ronda! Ronda! You're so fluffy." The Beast began to pant like it were a dog all while giving her nephew some kisses.
"So….Aunt Ronda is not a violent creature when in that form?" Azura asked.
"Apparently not." Manny and Ronda gave each other affectionate hugs.
"Huh, you know she's kind of cute." Azura remarked before she began stroking her aunt who only just lightly shoved her niece away. "Uh…Do you not want me stroking?"
"I think she's more affectionate around me." Manny remarked. "That's why my Aunt is giving me all these licks."
"Phrase your words, Hermano." Azura said. "Okay, keep her distracted while I'll go get her elixir."
Manny realised something important and then facepalmed himself. "Of course! The elixir!" He reached into his pocket and pulled out his aunt's elixir. "I've had this in case the experiment goes wrong."
Azura clapped her hands. "Great! Go on! We don't know when our Moms will be back. So let's go."
Manny was about to feed his aunt the elixir but then froze as he realised something. He had an idea that made him do a mischievous grin. "Or…."
Azura saw what her brother was thinking and froze. "Manny, don't! I know your brain isn't exactly normal but I know you're a rational thinker. Don't tell me you want to keep her this way for a while."
"I do." Manny replied.
"You mad witch!" Azura exclaimed. "She is the owl beast! What if by some chance she suddenly turns savage against us?!"
"Azura, we'll change her back once we're done and never do this again." Manny assured his sister. "I promise."
Azura was about to argue, but then froze and sighed. "Okay. What did you have planned?"
"We go on a little joyride." Manny said.
"Would Aunt Ronda mind though?" Azura asked before Ronda got into a position that told them her response was no, she did not mind.
"Okay, let's ride our Aunt!" Manny exclaimed as he got on his aunts back.
"Phrase that better, please!" Azura pleaded as she got on her aunt's back. "So, how are we gonna get out of the house?"
"Uh….."
The beast gave a mischievous laugh before jumping out the window, leaving a huge hole behind. Once they landed, the ran into the forest and began climbing up a tree.
"Okay, so where are we going?" Azura asked her brother.
"I don't know." Manny replied. "Aunt Ronda, can you take us somewhere fun?" The beast gave a smile like it had come up with an interesting idea.
Then, the kids and the beast were on the knee being chased by a family of slitherbeasts that looked pretty angry. Azura and Manny were screaming in fear and excitement.
After a few seconds of being chased, Ronda jumped off a cliff with her nephew and niece still on her back. They screamed and held on to each other just as Ronda used her claws to hang from a branch hanging from the cliff. Then, she swung off of it before moving to a tree and sliding down it, still with her nephew and niece on her back.
When the landed on the ground, the only injuries they received were a few scratches, a few twigs in Azura's hair, some leaves stuck to their faces and some leaves that Manny spat out.
"Wooo!" The siblings cheered.
"So, now what?" Azura asked. "Should we head back?"
"The night's still young Azura. We should have some more fun." Manny suggested.
Azura was hesitant but gave in. "Okay, let's have some more fun. It's a whole lot better than what our parents are doing."
Meanwhile, the Nocedas, Clawthornes, Greg and Reg were sitting around the campfire where Hooty's Gooty was stirring the pot of stew with her head.
"Ow!" Gooty exclaimed. "Jooty, your turn."
"Okay, sis." Jooty dunked her head into the pot and stirred.
Hooty smiled at his family before he turned to his other family who looked rather disturbed. "What's the matter?"
"Um…Hooty, are we gonna have to eat that?" Eda asked. "The Owl Beast might enjoy stew with owl tube germs but me and the others…."
"Hooty, point is, it's disgusting!" Amity exclaimed.
"Yeah, and unsanitary." Greg said. "Right, Reg?!"
Reg turned out to be picking his nose while his twin narrowed his eyes at him in disgust. "What? Everyone does it?"
"Oh don't worry, it's sanitary." Hooty assured them. "We washed ourselves from top to bottom. We even washed our insides."
King imagined the family of Hooties washing their guts and gagged. "Eww."
"Okay everyone!" Jooty exclaimed. "Come and get em!"
The Hooty family were about to gorge in, until Mooty got in front of them. "Wait, our guests. They deserve to serve up on the stew before we do."
"Thanks." Raine said with a grateful smile. "Where are the bowels?"
"Oh, where are my manners?!" Cooty asked before gagging up eight plates for the guests.
Nooty gagged a soup ladle while Hooty gagged eight spoons. "Here you go!"
"Don't worry, I cleaned them myself." Zooty assured them. "Hoot!"
The eight of them looked disgusted while they reluctantly picked up their plates and their spoons. "Well, bottoms up." Luz said reluctantly.
After they filled up on their stew, they began eating it while the Hooty family were slurping it from the pot while also fighting for it. The fight was pretty savage and brutal despite the fact it looked like a fight between those inflatable arm waving balloons you see outside car stores.
The Clawthornes, Nocedas, Greg and Reg looked rather uncomfortable with what they were seeing while Reg and Greg appeared to be making bets as to which member of the family could win.
A bruised Hooty popped his head up from the ground and grinned. "Liking the food?!"
"You know, it's surprisingly good." Luz remarked. "I don't even wish to know what's in it?!"
"You sure?!" Hooty asked. "The ingredients aren't much. It's just herbs, spices, leaves, bark, mud and the drool of a slitherbeast with a dash of blood, sweat and tears."
The Clawthornes, Nocedas, Greg and Reg looked at what they were consuming with disgust before King threw his on the ground. "Right! I'm leaving! Greg, Reg!"
"Don't need to tell me twice." Greg said while summoning his Palisman.
"What? It tastes surprisingly good." Reg said before he continued to eat the stew, causing everyone to stare at him in disgust.
"Eww!" Amity gagged as she tossed her stew away.
"Bonus!" Nooty exclaimed before she popped out from the ground and ate the stew. "Mmm! Mmm!"
"Okay, let's do this." The Titan began flapping his wings before taking off. But during takeoff, he accidentally crashed into a few branches while Greg followed behind.
"See you at Mom's, Greg." Reg said while he consumed the stew.
"How's the stew Lulu?" Hooty asked his best friend.
Lilith cringed. "It's so good that I wish to give this to you!"
"Fair enough!" Hooty ate the stew out of Lilith's hands while Luz and Amity cringed.
"This is going to be a long night." Luz remarked. "Hope the kids are doing well."
Meanwhile, Azura and Manny were riding Ronda through the town of Bonesborough by jumping over buildings as quietly as possible. But due to the size, it did cause some noise.
Some of the residents, poked their heads out to see what was going on but Ronda was a little too fast for them as she continued jump from rooftop to rooftop.
"Hey Azura, should we get some of your friends in on this?" Manny asked.
Azura smiled. "You know what? Yeah!"
"Okay, Ronda, take us to her special friend." Manny said.
"I don't have feelings for Hecate." Azura said.
Manny and Ronda grinned. "Funny, I never said who." Azura blushed and pressed her hands against her face.
They arrived at Hecate's house which was a small little house in the middle of nowhere. Hecate was in her room reading The Human Witch when she heard the sound of the door opening. "Hi Mom, how was the meeting?"
"Frustrating!" Her squeaky voiced Mom replied. "I'm going to bed, please don't disturb me!"
Hecate continued what she was doing until she heard the sound of a loud caw. She looked out her open bedroom window to see Azura and Manny riding an Owl Beast.
"Azura, Manny?" Hecate reacted in surprise. "What is that? Is that your new pet? Also Azura, are you in your pyjamas?"
"No, it's our Aunt." Manny replied.
Azura turned red in the face and made an illusion spell of her in an amazing dress. "What pyjamas?"
"Don't be embarrassed, I think you look cute." Hecate admitted, causing Azura to turn her dress back into her pyjamas.
"Come on lovers, let's go!" Manny said.
"We are not lovers." Hecate said. "And where are we going?"
"To get someone I know who won't say no to this."
Later, at the Porter residents. "No." Mildred said.
"What?!" Azura reacted with an equally surprised Manny and Hecate. "Why?!"
"You would not say no to this." Hecate said.
"I know." Mildred grinned. "I just wanted to see what would happen if I said no." She jumped out her bedroom window and landed behind Hecate, whom had her hands around a blushing Azura's waist.
"Hey Mildred, what about Alistair?" Hecate asked.
"Don't worry, Steve Jr is babysitting while Mr Porter and his boyfriend are out." Mildred said.
Inside the house, a tired Steve Jr was reading a bedtime story to Alistair. "And then, all the demons told Rufus, he was De-Man, leaving the young witch as happy as a sun shining….." Steve Jr fell asleep, leaving Alistair surprised and left in an awkward position.
"Uh…Are you going to finish?"
"Sleepy time for Steve Jr." Steve Jr said in his sleep.
Later, at the Blockerhon residence, Rentley was watching some Flyer Derby on his orb and petting his stag Palisman that had yet to come to life.
Then, he heard a knock on his bedroom window and quickly changed it to Grudgeby. "Mom! I wasn't watching Flyer Derby!" When he opened the window, he was greeted by Azura.
"Did you think I was your Mom?" Azura asked.
"Well, she did that once because she got suspicious of me liking….What do you want, Noceda?" Rentley asked.
"Hey Blockerhon, let's have some fun!" Mildred yelled from outside.
Rentley looked skeptical. "What about my Mom?"
Suddenly, an illusion of Rentley appeared behind him. "What about my Mom?" The illusion repeated in a mocking tone.
"Okay, guess that could work." Rentley said. "Thanks Azura."
"Actually, Mildred casted it because she rules!" The Rentley illusion exclaimed.
Then, Azura and Rentley jumped out the window and landed on the Owl Beast. Rentley looked at the beast's reflection in the window and seemed surprised.
"Wait, is that your Aunt?" He asked.
"Yup and don't question it because I have her elixir." Manny explained. "Hey, how about we get Evelyn next?"
Azura sighed. "Actually, let's not get Evelyn. I don't think she wants to be around us after her identity crisis."
"I have to agree with Azura, Manny." Rentley said.
"But hey, let's have a bit of fun!" Mildred exclaimed with her fists raised.
Manny smiled. "Cue montage!"
And so, the teens and the kid were having a montage. They jumped over the roofs of the houses of Bonesborough while trying to hold on.
They drank some alcohol free apple blood while on the roof of Hexside while having a dance. Then, Mr Bateman appeared out of nowhere and joined in. Though they had to kick him off due to being annoying.
They went on the Grudgeby court where they timed Ronda running the court and jumping through the Grudgeby hole. She survived all the obstacles and then got stuck in the hole. The kids just laughed while Ronda narrowed her beastly eyes at them.
Then, Jakob was walking home one night after thinking of ways to harass Evelyn before Ronda jumped out of a bush and roared in his face, causing the obnoxious witch to run away in fear. The group just laughed including Ronda.
Then, they were at the Jill's Sandwiches drive-thru by their lonesome getting some sandwiches for themselves.
Then, from the window was Harriet with a bag of sandwiches and a 12 foot long sandwich with meat and sauces in-between.
"Okay, I have your order." Harriet declared. "A 12 foot long meatball grub with extra….Sauce?" She froze when she saw Ronda was the vehicle of choice. It gave a crazy snarl before it snatched the sandwich out of her hand and devoured it.
Harriet was at first intimidated but then looked up to see her son. "Rentley?!"
Rentley turned red in embarrassment. "Oh, hey Mom. Just you?"
"Yeah, Common Mould infection was a lot worse and the refrigerators ran away." Harriet replied. "What are you doing here? Your Mom says you were at home doing teenage witch stuff."
"Teenage witch stuff?" Rentley reacted in confusion.
Mildred just grinned. "You know what I'm talking about, Blockerhon." When Rentley understood that implication, he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Well, here are your sandwiches." Harriet handed the group a bag of sandwiches. "And please come again to Jill's Sandwiches. And get back soon, sweetie!"
The beast took off with the teens still on while Azura held on to the sandwiches. "Hey Manny, you sure going to Jill's Sandwiches was a good idea?" Hecate asked.
"Don't worry, the street is empty, no one noticed." Manny assured her.
But back at the drive thru, Harriet was handing the next batch of sandwiches to the same group of animal control experts that tried to catch Eda many years ago. Now they were much older and each had greying hair. They rode on their carriage that was being pulled by a rat worm.
"Here you go." Harriet said.
"Hey sir, should we go after that beast and then go and catch those runaway refrigerators?" Tom asked.
"Of course, Tom!" The eyepatched leader exclaimed. "I've been meaning to catch something more than a bunch of runaway home appliances."
Back with the Hooty family, the Hooty family were engaging in a family sing-a-long which was them hooting and making squawking noises.
"Hooty hoot!" They sang. "Hey, have you not heard the Hootybutt? My butt? No, the chatter! The Hoot! The what-said-why-what-should-that, yeah, the Hootybutt!"
The Clawthornes, Nocedas and Reg were sitting on the logs all covering their ears as the family continued to sing that torture to the ears.
"I'm sorry, the Hooty butt?" Raine asked.
"It's sort of a parody of the worst song from that one remake about a mermaid!" Eda exclaimed. "Or more like the Hooty rendition. Whoever wrote the original must be the worst lyricists in the Human Realm."
"Actually, humans say he is one of the best musical lyricists of the 21st century." Luz explained.
"Well somebody might wanna rethink that!" Eda exclaimed.
"Come on, sing along!" Hooty said, encouraging the others.
Reg summoned his Palisman and jumped on it. "I'm off." He flew off so he wouldn't have to hear the rest of Hooty's song.
"It's the Hootybutt!"
Meanwhile, the group were eating their sandwiches on top of a cliff while Ronda was laying down like a dog having a rest.
Manny gave her a gentle stroke on her head. "Don't worry Aunt Ronda, after tonight, you'll be back to your awesome self."
"So, how long can you keep up the illusion?" Rentley asked Mildred.
"Oh yeah. That's what I was making an illusion of." Mildred said with realisation.
"What?!" Rentley exclaimed. "My Mom will realise I'm gone!"
Mildred coughed. "Teenage witch stuff, remember?"
Rentley cringed. "Oh right."
Manny sat next to Azura whom had almost finished with her sandwich. "Sandwich good?"
Azura smiled. "Are you kidding?! Jill's Sandwiches are the best in the entire Demon Realm!"
"I know!" Manny exclaimed. "Good thing we got these right?"
"Yup."
Manny and his sister gave each other some smiles as they looked at the Titan skeleton that rested over the distance and watching the entire town of Bonesborough.
They admired its beauty while Manny rested his head on his sister's shoulder. "You know Manny, this was the most fun I've had in a while."
"Not even those life and death situations?" Manny asked.
"They were fun but they weren't this." Azura replied.
Manny gave his sister a smile. "Hey, you know, I'm glad we're doing this again."
"Hanging out?" Azura asked. "I spent time with you."
"It was more studying, really." Manny admitted.
"Oh, right." Azura gave a sad glance. "I'm sorry for that."
"It's okay." Manny said. "It's just, you know since I never went to Hexside or made any friends, things just seemed, lonely. Even with my Moms around, things were just empty and I felt isolated. I love them don't get me wrong, but I wanted you around as well."
"Sorry I wasn't around Manny." Azura said. "And I will hang out with you when I can. Heck, maybe I can teach you how to make friends while at Hexside. Well, maybe Hecate since you know my reputation with friends, she got me as a friend."
"You mean more than a friend?"
Azura playfully narrowed her eyes at her little brother and nudged him in the arm. "Shut up. Don't say it out loud!" She turned around to see Hecate picking some crumbs off of her pyjama shirt and eating them.
"Aww, you admit it!" Manny said. "Do you want me to tell her?"
"No! Manny Caleb Noceda!" Azura laughed as she playfully shoved her brother.
"Hey, Hecate!" Manny exclaimed.
"No!" Azura placed her hand on her brother's mouth. "NO! Don't you dare!"
"Azura has something she wants to say!"
"No!"
Mildred and Rentley just watched on, smiling with each other. They laughed at what was going on in front of them while Ronda slept.
But then, Ronda noticed something that caught her attention. She noticed a reflective light shining on the ground. This enticed and baffled the beast as it stood up and began following it.
She followed the light down the hill and toward the ledge where she was greeted by the monster hunters with one of them using a monocle to reflect the moonlight.
"Hello there monster." The leader said while the beast snarled in anger as its eyes turned pitch black.
On the ledge, the teens and ten year old continued to mess about with Azura and Manny in a bit of a wrestling match.
"Shut up Manny!" Azura laughed.
"I will! I will! I will!" Manny laughed. "Just let me go!"
"Hey guys, where's Ronda?" Hecate asked.
Suddenly, they heard a terrified roar. The teens and kid looked over the cliff to see a horrifying sight. Ronda was being forced into a cage with a mouth guard around her mouth and the hunters using twitches to force her in.
"Aunt Ronda!" Azura screamed while Manny froze in terror.
"Oh no!" Rentley said.
"Quick, let's stop them!" Hecate exclaimed.
The teens began to run down the hill as fast as they could to stop the hunters while Manny stared on in fear and terror. He was petrified with guilt and terror and did the only thing he could do, scream.
"Let her go! Let her go!" Manny demanded. "Let her go!"
At the bottom, Tom heard the scream but it was too far for him to comprehend what it was saying. "Hey boss, do you hear that?"
"What?" The leader asked.
"Sounds like a scream telling us that this thing is their aunt." He replied.
"Come on Tom, you're hearing things." The female member said.
"Let's take this thing to camp." The Leader said.
"Should we sell it or kill it?" Tom asked as he and the others got on the cart.
"Maybe we could sell it." The Leader replied. "We have interested buyers but this….I think we should stuff it and keep this one to ourselves." He whipped his coachwhip, causing the rat worm to move.
As it moved, the beastly Ronda snarled at her captors with anger, hunger and aggression, as if she were going to do something to them.
The teens got to the bottom and stopped when they realised that they were too late. "Aunt Ronda!" Azura exclaimed.
"Oh great we lost them!" Mildred complained.
Azura noticed the tracks that had been left and grinned. "Not on my watch. That rat worm left a trail. If we use the skills we were taught in beast keeping from my Aunt Viney, we will find it."
Mildred smiled. "Oh goodie! We don't need to mope and think about the consequences of our actions."
"Okay guys, let's go!" Hecate said.
They then heard the sounds of someone sniffling and looked up. Azura instantly knew who it was and exhaled. "Oh no."
"So?" Mildred reacted. "We'll just reassure his aunt's gonna be okay."
"No, it's more than that." Azura said.
"What? Did he allow her to be this way?" Azura gave Mildred a look that said her response. "Oh right." For a brief moment, Mildred seemed saddened before going back to deadpan. "Well, his fault his aunt could be meat. Tell him I said that."
Azura narrowed her eyes while Rentley just slapped the back of her head. "What is wrong with you?!"
Azura made it to where her brother was and saw that he was standing in front of a rock in anger and tears falling from his eyes. "It's all my fault."
Azura gave her brother a worried look and began to gently approach him. "Manny?"
"Why did I do this?!" He began sobbing. "It's my fault! It's my fault!" He began punching the rock in anger. "Stupid! Stupid!"
Azura summoned a plant spell to gently grab a hold of his wrists. "Manny! Manny!" She yelled in anger. Manny froze in fear at his sister. "Please don't hurt yourself! Okay?!" Manny didn't say anything as he was petrified with his sister's outburst. "Okay?!" When she noticed he wasn't saying anything she became concerned. "Manny?"
Manny just dropped to his knees as tears fell from his eyes. "Azura, why do I hurt everyone I love? First Mom and now Aunt Ronda. Is my condition to blame?"
Azura got down to her knees and began to hug her brother. "Manny. I don't know anything about what you have but I don't think what you have is to blame. You make a few mistakes."
"But my condition is what caused Mami to get stabbed and my condition is what's causing Mom to hate me." Manny said. "And now, because of my stupidity, Aunt Ronda's gonna get hurt."
Azura tightened her grip on her brother. "Manny, it's okay. It's okay. You can fix that mistake. Please stop trying to hurt yourself. It's not going to save Aunt Ronda. You can save her, you have the elixir."
Manny wiped some tears. "Why am I like this?" Manny asked. "I can do Abomination and I know so much about Doctor What and human stuff, why do I end up hurting so many?"
"Manny, please…" Azura gave her brother a stern look. "….You're only failing because you're not trying. Now, on your feet bro, we got a rescue mission to do."
Manny was afraid of failing but he knew his sister was right and he had to help his sister and his aunt. He stood up and summoned an Abomination fist. "Where are they?!"
Back at the family reunion, the Hooty and his family were all rolling around in mud while giggling madly. The Clawthornes and Nocedas just sat in discomfort and confusion as this continued.
"Come on people!" Hooty exclaimed, trying to encourage the families. "Join in!"
"The mud is perfectly wet!" Looty exclaimed.
"No thanks." Raine said with discomfort. "I think I'd rather stick to sitting here."
"Suit yourself!" Yooty said before him and the other Hooties continued to roll around in the mud.
"Titan, I wish I had a good excuse to leave." Amity said.
Eda heard a ping and summoned her scroll to open her Penstagram. She smiled at what she was seeing. "Hey Rainestorm, get a look at this." Eda began showing her spouse the post.
"What is it?" Raine asked as they adjusted their glasses.
"The hunters have got some kind of special monster." Eda said as she showed her spouse the picture of the hunters with Ronda in the cage. Only they didn't know it was their daughter.
"Dear, doesn't that beast look suspiciously like our daughter?" Raine asked while they adjusted their glasses.
"Yeah."
Raine looked worried for a moment. "Eda, her Owl Curse hasn't awoken has it? She's been drinking her elixir?" Eda and Raine looked worried for a moment but then the married couple have a nervous laugh.
"Yeah right!" Eda laughed.
"As if that's our daughter." Eda put her scroll away and went back to staring at her spouse. They were staring at each other with loving smiles that suddenly turned into alarmed faces.
"Ronda!"
Raine summoned their Palisman while Eda turned into her harpy form. "Edalyn?" A concerned Lilith reacted. "What's going on with my niece?"
"She's been captured and her curse has awakened!" Eda replied.
"Do you want us to help, Eda?" Luz asked.
"No." Eda replied. "Me and Raine may be old but that doesn't mean we can't kick some butt."
"Okay, good luck." Lilith said.
"Hooty family, I wanted to leave early but now me and my spouse have a good excuse!" Eda and Raine took off to rescue their daughter.
"Okay, see you at the next reunion!" Hooty said before he continued to roll around in the mud.
"Titan, I wish we had a good excuse to leave so we can see the kids." Amity said.
"You can just say you're disturbed and you'd like to leave." An unexpected Gus said.
"Gus, it's a good idea, but we'd be rude." Luz said before she and Amity realised who was there with them.
"Gus?!" Luz and Amity exclaimed in shock.
"And Matt." A disturbed Matt said while sitting next to his boyfriend.
"What are you doing here?" Amity asked.
"Me and Matt were on a date in the forest just having a quiet stroll." Gus replied. "But then the stroll was interrupted by a sound me and Matt did not want to hear."
"A Parliament of Hooties." Matt shuddered. "We didn't want to see it, but our curiosity got the best of us."
"Gus, why aren't you at our house babysitting Azura and Manny?" Luz asked.
Gus seemed baffled. "Ronda told me you guys needed her so I could go on my date." Gus froze when he saw how alarmed Luz and Amity looked. "You didn't did you?"
Luz and Amity quickly summoned their Palismen and took off as fast as they could leaving Lilith, Gus and Matt alone to watch Hooty.
"Why haven't you ran away?" Matt asked.
"I'm Hooty's ride home." Lilith replied with regret. "This lasts for eight more hours."
Meanwhile at the hunter's camp, the Leader, the female member and Tom were all playing some Hexes Hold'Ems while Ronda watched on with anger in her eyes.
Tom looked at the creature with an aggressive stare that vanished when Ronda growled back at him, causing the little demon to squeal.
"Don't worry Tom, soon that beast will be our prized collection." The Leader assured them. "It's a savage creature anyway."
"What about those kids riding it?" The female member asked. "I'm pretty sure it was their pet."
"Does this look like a pet you can own legally?" The Leader asked. "This isn't like the time where we tried to get that Human Realm dog from that Palisman carver."
Then they heard the sound of someone running up to them. They looked to see a panicked Hecate running up to them.
"Please help!" Hecate exclaimed.
"A customer in distress!" The Leader remarked with excitement. "Let's go greet them!" The trio stood up and ran toward the girl. "What seems to be the problem?"
"Monster….In….In…..Oh Titan, where is it?!" Hecate asked herself in distress. "Where is it?!"
"It's okay, just explain slowly." The Leader said.
"Okay, I was walking with my Mom in the forest she said 'I love you' at one point and I think I kind of blacked out…." While Hecate explained her lie of a story, Azura was sneaking up on the leader whom had the keys to the cage hanging from his pocket.
Azura looked in the distant to see her brother standing by the cage with the elixir in hand, ready to use it on his aunt.
"…And then, one of the runaway fridges mugged us…." Hecate said, continuing the story.
Azura approached the cage with the key in hand. When Ronda saw her niece and nephew she looked indifferent as opposed to happy.
"Okay, Hecate has her distracted." Manny said.
"Let's keep it that way." Azura said. "Mildred and Rentley are hiding in case things go south."
"I know." Manny said. "Mildred and Rentley stuck together. I wonder what that will be like?"
Behind the crate Rentley and Mildred were hiding behind, Mildred was giving the boy a teasing look. "So…What's your opinion on Evelyn?"
Back with the siblings, Azura noticed her aunt's indifferent look. "Hey Manny, is it just me or is Aunt Ronda looking a little more savage than usual?" Azura asked.
"I don't care, I'm just happy we're about to free her." Manny said.
"I don't know Manny. She has her eyes set on those jerks over there." Azura remarked.
"Don't worry Ronda, you won't see those jerks again." Manny said before he took the keys from his sister and put it in the lock.
"….And then, my Mom got captured by a slitherbeast…." The hunters stopped listening to Hecate's story and turned around to see the Noceda siblings freeing the Owl Beast.
"Kids, stop!" The Leader pleaded. "You don't know what you're doing!"
"You're trying to stuff our aunt!" Azura exclaimed.
"Okay you might have an idea on what you're doing and….Wait, that's your aunt?" The Leader asked.
"You kids are messed up." Tom remarked.
"No, we just love our aunt." Manny argued before he unlocked the cage.
"Wait!" The Leader tried to stop him but it was too late. Ronda burst out of her cage and performed a massive roar that shook everyone.
Ronda began charging towards the Leader which made him try and summon a plant shield. But then, Ronda burst through the plant and pounced on the Leader.
Azura and Manny watched on in horror at what they were seeing. Their Aunt Ronda had suddenly become what Azura feared the most, her becoming savage.
Tom jumped on the beast who just shook him off and made him crash into a cart. The female member was about to engage in combat, but then Ronda gave her a backhanded slap, knocking her out cold.
She was about to attack the pinned down and terrified leader, until Azura ran in front of her aunt with brother. "Aunt Ronda! What are you doing?!" Azura exclaimed before the Owl Beast snarled and raised her claw high.
Then from out of nowhere, Rentley and Mildred rushed in by slamming their bodies into Ronda. She crashed into a load of crates that smashed. Causing sausages and weapons to shoot out.
Rentley summoned an Abomination fist, Mildred summoned an illusion spell while Hecate summoned a plant spell, ready to face off against the Owl Beast.
"So…Were we supposed to fight off against your Aunt in case she went savage?" Mildred asked.
"Okay gang, new plan, restrain Aunt Ronda." Azura commanded. "Hecate, Rentley, you two help me restrain her legs. Mildred, put her to sleep. Manny, elixir."
Manny gave his sister a nod before E looked to his aunt with a worried expression. He saw her standing up as some drool escaped from her mouth. She snarled at the kids in front of her, ready to attack.
She roared before pouncing forward toward them. Then, Manny summoned an Abomination wall that blocked her off for a brief moment until she jumped over it. The five kids managed to back off as she raised her claw high.
Hecate and Azura quickly summoned Abomination vines that tied themselves around the front part of the beast's legs while Rentley tied her from the back of her legs. Mildred quickly jumped on her head and casted some sleeping spells to restrain her. But what Azura didn't anticipate was the fact Ronda was resisting the spell.
"She's resisting!" Mildred exclaimed.
Manny was about to insert the elixir into her mouth, but then, Ronda managed to free herself from her restraints. She shook Mildred off of her, causing her to crash on the ground.
The beast was about to slice the lazy teen, until Rentley summoned an Abomination shield to protect her. Rentley then shoved her backwards with one shove from his shield. She then pounded on Rentley and roared into his face.
Azura and Hecate summoned some fire spells to try and hypnotise her but when she saw the fire, she backed away from the teen.
Manny began running up to his aunt with the elixir in his hand but only jumped over him and landed behind Azura.
"Aunt Ronda, please listen!" Azura exclaimed. "Take the elixir!" But instead of cooperating, she just growled and tried to claw her niece. But luckily, Hecate managed to hit her by swinging a massive vine into her chest.
She crashed into her cage, causing it to shatter. When she stood up, she was greeted by multiples of Mildreds. "Hey, guess which one is me."
"Answer: You can't." Said one of the smug Mildreds.
Ronda snarled before pouncing toward one of the Mildreds, causing her to burst into smoke. She then went for another, but that caused it to burst into smoke.
Hecate summoned a vine that wrapped around Ronda's neck thanks to Mildred's distraction. Rentley jumped in front of her face and summoned a pair of Abomination fists that he used to punch her in the face in an effort to knock her out.
"Come on, go to sleep. Go to sleep." But instead, she freed herself from the vine and backhanded Rentley backwards, causing him to get a cut on his lip.
From the distance, Manny held the elixir in his hand, waiting for the right moment to use it but throughout, he couldn't see an opening or a chance to save his aunt. All he could see were his friends and sister being weakened.
Ronda gave Mildred a head butt that sent her flying, she sliced through the back of Hecate's pyjama shirt and backhanded Rentley again.
Manny knew that he had to do something or otherwise his aunt might cause more damage. So, he summoned a huge Abomination chain that wrapped itself around Ronda's back and stomach. It took a lot of concentration from Manny to tighten the grip around her as he held the elixir in hand.
He approached her and opened the bottle while she struggled to escape. "Ronda, I'm sorry for everything tonight!" He forced the elixir into her mouth and forced her to down it all.
When she finished drinking it all, she broke free of her Abomination trap and scratched Manny in the cheek, causing him to fall to the ground.
"Manny!" Azura ran toward her brother and began to check on him.
Manny held on to his cheek and checked his hand to see some blood. "Blood!" Manny exclaimed. "Azura, I'm bleeding."
"Hold still Manny." Hecate summoned a healing spell and began to heal him of his scratch.
Then, from the night sky, Eda and Raine had arrived to see what was going on. They saw the beast growling and twitching, as if it were fighting to keep control of itself.
It cried in pain as it slowly shrank and reverted back to Ronda. Eda and Raine ran to their daughter whom was lying on the ground.
"Ronda!" Raine shook their daughter. "Ronda!"
Ronda made a groan as she woke up from her small nap. "ZiZi, Mom? What happened?"
"The beast." Eda replied. "It took over."
Ronda groaned. "So, I guess I do have it."
"You should have been drinking your elixir." Raine reminded their daughter.
"Elixir?" Ronda reacted. "Manny? Is he okay?"
Luz and an angry Amity both arrived on their Palismen but then froze in horror when they saw Manny. "Manny!" Luz ran toward her son whom was being held by his sister while Hecate healed him.
Ronda panicked when she saw what happened with her nephew. "Manny?!" She began running toward him just as Luz and Amity got down on their knees.
"Mami….Mom…..I…." But Manny couldn't get another word in as his Mom interjected.
"Who did this?!" She asked angrily. "Who did this, Manny?!"
"Mom, Aunt Ronda did this." Azura replied.
"Manny!" Ronda managed to get with the group. "Manny, are you okay?!"
Amity summoned an Abomination sword and aimed at Ronda angrily. "Don't take another step toward my kids."
"Mom, she didn't…"
"Don't get involved, Manny!" Amity demanded. "She hurt you!"
"But Mom, she didn't have control of herself!" Manny exclaimed. "She didn't…"
"Manny!" Amity narrowed her eyes at her son, causing him to freeze in fear. "You don't know what you're saying. As for you Ronda, don't come anywhere my family."
Ronda backed away toward her parents as tears began to fall from her eyes. Tears of regret and guilt over what she did.
Eda placed a hand on Ronda's shoulder. "Ronda, you had no control of this."
"But I hurt him." Ronda said as she cried. "I hurt him." Eda carefully hugged her daughter, understanding what she went through about hurting someone she cared about.
"Ronda, it's okay." Eda said to her daughter. "It's okay." But Eda did not know if her daughter was going to be okay even after today. She hurt her nephew which was going to haunt her like she did when she hurt her father in her Owl beast form.
Ronda continued to sob into her mother's shoulder while Amity just glared at Ronda like she were some hate filled creature. Luz approached her wife and held her shoulder.
"She didn't know what she was doing." Luz said.
Amity sighed. "I know. I know. Is Manny…."
"Hecate says he's going to be fine physically." Luz replied. "But mentally…." She turned to face her son whom held on to his bandaged cheek as tears fell from his eyes. In that moment, Manny felt terrified of his aunt while also feeling some negative feeling towards his Mom over what she did to Ronda and ignoring him. It makes some of the kids wonder if the Nocedas might fall apart.
