Disclaimer: I don't own Mario.

"We got her, Boss! We got the princess!"

Bowser grinned devilishly upon seeing his army of Koopa Troopas arrived. He watched from his throne as they entered the main room of his palace. They were carrying among them a sack which was had a knot tied at the top. The villainous tyrant knew that inside was what he had sent his minions to capture and bring to his palace. He was pleased to see that had succeeded to carry out his sinister demands.

Once again, Bowser had arranged for Princess Peach to be kidnapped. Instead of carrying out it himself, however, he had ordered his minions to go to Mushroom Kingdom to abduct her for him. The villainous Koopa King rubbed his hands together. He was looking forward to laying his eyes on the beautiful young damsel in distress who he was obsessed with. No way would he allow Mario to rescue her from his clutches this time. He was determined to eternally keep her all to himself.

"Okay, boys!" Bowser thundered. "Let the princess out of the bag!"

The Koopa Troopers placed the sack down on the throne room floor. Bowser watched with a glint in his eyes as they quickly untied the knot. They pulled the sack down to release the captive from inside and reveal her to the Koopa King who had sent them to kidnap her.

An astonished look instantly filled Bowser's face when he lay his gaze upon the captured princess who had been brought in his palace.

"You?!" he burst out.

It wasn't Peach.

It was Daisy.

"Oh hi, Bowser!" The tomboyish princess exclaimed cheerfully. "I didn't know I would be coming to see you today!"

"Wha-Wha-" Bowser stammered, bewildered that the princess who his men had captured was the feisty brunette instead of the gentle blonde. "What are you doing here?"

"I was just gonna ask you the same thing!"

Daisy said loudly. "I was just hanging out in my castle when your minions came along and stuffed into that bag! I didn't complain, mind you, as I just thought they were dragging me into some kind of game! Was this what you were planning, Bowser! A surprise visit to your palace for me?!"

Bowser groaned irritably to hear that his Koopa Troopas had completely messed up his plot to kidnap Princess Peach. They had journey to the Kingdom of Sarasland instead of Mushroom Palace. As a result, they had captured for him a different hostage to the one he had in mind.

"You idiots!" Bowser hollered at his minions. "You got the wrong princess!"

"You didn't say which princess, Boss!" The leader of the Koopa Troopas said defensively. "You just told to get you the princess!"

"Isn't it obvious which princess I wanted?!" Bowser roared. "After all the times I've brought her here, I thought you fools would've figured I wanted Peach!"

"Oh, so it was Peach you were after instead of me?" Daisy gazed innocently at the Koopa Troopas. "Sorry, boys. Your princess is in another castle."

Bowser groaned again. He was beside himself with fury to hear the Koopa Troopas hadn't been anywhere near the princess he'd sent them to kidnap. Now he knew how Mario felt whenever he came to rescue Peach from his clutches, only to be told those annoying words by Toad.

"Never mind, Bowser! I'll hang out with you today!" Daisy said brightly. "It'll be a nice change for you to have me over your castle instead of Peach!"

Bowser but his bottom lip. The thought of having this loud-mouthed tomboy instead than Peach for his captive was too much for him.

"I'll keep you good company!" Daisy promised. "I bet there's lots of fun things to do in this palace! Peach always tells me she can't wait to leave your castle, but I can't see why! It looks like a great place to be - and I'm fully determined to stay here with you as long as you want-"

"ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!"

Bowser let off a huge scream which shook the palace walls. Unable to bare the thought of having Daisy in his castle with him, he jumped off his throne and stormed out of the room - by ploughing his whole body through the wall. He raced as fast as he could away from the high-spirited princess, leaving her all alone with the Koopa Troopas who had captured her instead of Peach.

Daisy stared through the Bowser-shaped hole in the wall. A bewildered look crossed her face over her kidnapper's outburst.

"Wow! Bowser sure seems to be having some emotional troubles!" she exclaimed. "It's a good thing I was brought here so I can help him out! I won't leave this palace until Bowser feels back to his old self!"

Daisy smiled. She was eager to stay by Bowser's side and give him plenty of attention. She would not let anything take her from the her captor's palace. She was determined to see him her through the issues he was clearly having.

How little the tomboyish princess knew that she was the very cause of Bowser's emotional troubles, nor could she tell that the only thing which would make him feel better would be if Mario or Luigi came to save her from being his hostage.

There was nothing the Koopa King wanted more than for his arch enemies to show up to his castle and taking this overbearing princess away from him.
