I don't know if it is FF or my computer but the horizontal lines aren't showing up. So when you see xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx it's a scene break. Besides that after this chapter I will hav went over four hundred thousand words! Who would have thought!
Karei felt the breath leave her lips for the hundredth time, it was such a nice day before if she had to say it was perfect; not too hot with a slight breeze it was a relief from the suffocating heat that they were getting for weeks now, but then it started pouring... It still was pouring, she smiled slightly, well at least the plants were getting their fill, but she felt bad for some people since bugs were bound to sneak in. For once the windows were closed and the curtains only half shut. She always loved thunderstorms there was just something relaxing about them, that put her at ease. She turned her gaze back on Chiho who was still out of it from before, so maybe it was a little drastic to wear such a tight and revealing dress, but she had no problem showing off her assets for Chiho. "Mmmmm." A soft mumble made her perk up as Chiho roused from her slumber, rubbing her eyes before she opened them. "Karei-chan?"
"I'm here." Karei said promptly, wisely removing Chiho's head from her bosoms before she made the poor girl faint again. It was a good thing she fainted and had a nosebleed seeing her in this dress, but that meant Karei was alone in the dark hospital room watching it rain for about an hour maybe two hours. She enjoyed having random conversations with Chiho and making her giggle, it was beyond adorable.
"I had the strangest dream." She murmured her cheeks turning a shade of red. "You were in this tight dress. Your breasts and legs were showing and I-" Chiho glanced over at the black fabric of the dress, the same dress that made her faint, that was one of the reasons she fainted. Just breathe. She coached herself, slowly drawing her eyes up to Karei's smiling face, those exotic eyes dancing with happiness and concern all the same. "Oh my." Chiho gasped softly rubbing her hand down Karei's side feeling her curves stretching the dress to its limit, she just fit the dress, barely. "You didn't have to-"
"I wanted to." Karei said softly drawing herself closer to Chiho, not taking the frisky feline approach like the first time. So, she came on a bit strong even though they were bonded Chiho was a modest and sweet girl, crawling over her with her back arched perhaps wasn't the best route. Silly me. She thought mentally, smiling all the same. She felt Chiho tense for a second before relaxing and bringing herself closer to Karei sighing contently. "Today was such a good day, I thought we could maybe celebrate."
"What did you have in mind?" Chiho asked struggling to fight off the blush that was straining on her face. She was closely bonded with Karei, she could feel her emotions and feelings, feel her desires, and she knew what Karei wanted. But it was polite to ask regardless, she didn't want to take advantage of Karei in any way, she wouldn't deny she was attracted to her and loved her deeply.
"Well..." Karei blushed deeply, and the action made Chiho smile softly. It was so unlike Karei to blush Ms. Daring, boisterous, and exuberant herself. She rarely blushed, except whenever they talked about getting more intimate, and Chiho couldn't blame her because the same thing happened to her. "Maybe we could... Go a little further than we have been, and..." She paused taking a slow breath, she didn't want to push Chiho into this, they kissed and cuddled, but she wanted more. She was happy, but yearned for more, and she wasn't sure how long she'd be alive. "I'm sorry let's just cuddle." Karei said after a few moments.
"I-It's fine." Chiho said softly looking into Karei's eyes, a small smile on her face as she slowly brought a hand forward running it through her long hair. "May I?" She asked leaning closer feeling her heart skip a beat as she was inches from Karei's lips and could smell the familiar scent of cinnamon. Karei felt her breath stick in her throat, but she nodded anyways letting Chiho take her lips with a tender kiss, she shuddered feeling heat rush through her body and swirl towards the back of her neck before deep violet wings burst forth from the back of her neck bathing the room in a brilliant glow. They broke the kiss slowly, Karei breathing deeply as she licked her lips. Oh Karei-chan. Chiho thought lovingly as she shocked the buxom woman and captured her lips in another kiss, this time filled with passion.
"Chiho-kun-" Karei breathed with a small blush.
"Shhhhh." Chiho gently whispered, silencing her with another kiss, pushing her body against Karei's with just a little bit of force, nothing too noticeable, but very subtle. "Let me make you happy like you've made me happy so many times before." Karei dimmed her eyes, surrendering to Chiho's lips and embrace as she let the shorter girl take charge.

"You're not mad are you?" Ahiko asked turning to face him while whipping away the moisture from her face. She was glad they were back home, under the awning of the front door no longer being blasted by the rain and high speed winds.
Ryu copied her motion, wiping droplets of water off of his face and away from his eyes. He really needed to learn to stop being so nice like Toyotama would badger him before about. You always say yes, you never say no, you want to save everyone; he sighed at the memory she was right. He should have said no to Minato from the beginning and not run half way across town to see what he wanted, he wouldn't be soaked to the bone if he hadn't. "Why would I be mad?" He questioned with a careful gaze directed at her, he wasn't sure what Ahiko was trying to get at with that question. It was her choice, just like the others made a choice.
"Because-"
"There's not a reason for me to be mad at you." Ryu said dryly, before she could try to reason why there could be a reason for him to be mad. He was perceptive, but he wasn't going to pick out things that didn't happen in that moment, or this moment. He wasn't going to focus on the what if, or mull over the deeper side to things, all he wanted to do was get out of these soaking clothes, dry off, and get changed. "You made your choice, just like the others did. I'm not mad." He fished the key out of his pocket, lodging it in and twisting it sharply to the right hearing a loud click. He nudged Ahiko in and he followed quickly behind her, shutting the door.
"You're right." Ahiko said as she kicked off her shoes and slipping off her soaked socks. She just couldn't shake seeing Minato's dejected expression when she said no, even though he was fine with it and bared no ill will towards her or harbor harsh feelings she still felt bad. And, then there was Matsu who also looked slightly dejected at her answer to his request. Why did it need to be on her, hanging on her word, why couldn't it be Toyotama or Yashima? But, Ryu wasn't mad at her so that's all that mattered in the long run of things. She closed the distance between them, which wasn't much to start with and pulled him close with a tight hug, sighing contently as he returned her embrace snaking his arms around her waist. "I'm just over thinking things again." She released him smiling the best she could. "I'm going to head up by Hari. I'll take Uzume upstairs too." She leaned in giving him a quick peck on the lips before retreating down a hallway.
"Has everyone lost their minds today?" He questioned a loud. First it was Minato's escape plan which couldn't go over well. There was just no way things were going to go as he planned, not when Karasuba was going to front and center already six steps ahead. Karasuba was a lot of things bloodthirsty and sadistic were the ones everyone could agree on, but she was intelligent and sharp minded, if she got a feeling they were on the move she would follow those instincts. And, now Ahiko was feeling guilty for saying no and thought he was mad at her, it was silly completely silly. How could he get made for a choice she made with her own free will, he never forced her or his Sekirei to do anything they didn't like or didn't want to. Sighing loudly, he took off his tabi and headed to his room in severe need of a change of clothes.
"What's the matter with Ahiko?" Ryu looked behind him to see Toyotama's green eyes narrowed slightly filled with curiosity. Well, it was rare for Ahiko to be down about anything she tried to find the positive when there was no positives to be found, and she was an energetic bundle of joy that even managed to squash whatever had her and Toyotama at each other's throats and the two become friends and sparring partners. Naturally Toyotama would grow worried seeing her favorite sparring partner looking so gloomy even if it was a rainy night. "Oh wait. Let me guess she said no to that idiot's request and now she feels guilty?"
Ryu opened the door to his room heading inside while tossing his shirt to the side an heading to his closest, he didn't bother closing the door since Toyotama was going to enter one way or another. Which she did almost silently and shut the door once she was in leaning against the wall with a small frown. "How'd you guess?" He asked after he found a dry t shirt and quickly took off his hakama and shorts. Toyotama bit her bottom lip, not bothering to look away, she seen him naked plenty of times and she would love to just go over there and spank his ass, but she was focused on something else. It may be a stupid plan, but Minato has some resolve to go through with it despite all the unfavorable variables... Ryu thought as he snatched a pair of gray jogging pants and slid them on with super speed.
"Not sure." Toyotama shrugged, her eyebrows knitting together more. "But, everyone seems to pity that boy or gravitate towards him for some reason. I don't know why anyone would gravitate towards him he's a spineless worm and a doormat, and I was never one to accept pity or give it out." She stated matter of factly sauntering over to him as he tied his drawstring. She never got pity once in her life, she didn't get it when she was being chased around the city by Higa's bitches as she called them, she didn't get it when she had to hide out for hours sometimes days at a time. So why would she give it someone else, it wasn't favorable and it downright made her stomach twist with revulsion.
"Well, you're right." Ryu said with a soft sigh, turning around to face her with an almost blank expression. Sure, Minato was a doormat, he seen him almost every day in high school, the days he chose not to skip out and sleep in or wander around for hours. Minato was brilliant, he never scored lower than an A minus, even the other what one would consider nerds used to look at him with scorning glares for beating their own scores on important tests; and there was also the fact Minato was a kind individual. It made him feel lighter that Kusano had someone like Minato as her Ashikabi rather than slimes like Higa or brutes like Junichi who should never ever even wing a Sekirei or be around them, but defending Minato with an adamant Toyotama was a losing battle.
"When have I ever been wrong?" Toyotama asked with a light laugh as she brought a hand through his hair careful to avoid the spikes and knots.
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Ryu asked with a small smile.
"Have I ever told you; you can be a real smart ass?"
"I recall it multiple times." Ryu rubbed his chin in deep thought, noticing Toyotama's soft expression. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Toyotama took a step back, taking a seat on the bed and patting the spot next to her. Ryu slowly took a seat noticing that her expression didn't change in the slightest. He was used to seeing that gleam in her eyes that she'd get whenever she was making her advances, or that flare when she'd get angry or was hell bent on getting something done, or there was that spark he'd see whenever she sparred; but this was completely different. "Ryu, what are you going to do about your date tonight with Yomi?" She asked after a few silent moments turning towards him. "It's raining so you can't exactly go out like you planned previously."
"Toyotama..." Ryu rubbed his forehead. "We had sex a few weeks ago."
"But I want it now!" She set a hand on his thigh, slowly drawing it upward towards his shaft. "Can't we just have a quickie?"
"Nope." Ryu gently grabbed her wrist, moving it away from his crotch which it was dangerously close to touching. Her advances weren't unusual by now, but this was really cutting the cake as the saying went. "It's Yomi's turn tonight, and you know I'll wait for her just like I waited for you and the others." He said, though he didn't release her wrist from his grasp, and gently began to rub the back of her hand causing her cheeks to turn a very light shade of red.
"I knew you'd say that." Toyotama laughed softly giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, and sliding her other hand into his pants before he could react and gave his shaft a swift stroke, shuttering when she felt him react and throb. It was always such a shock he was so vital. But, she slowly, very slowly removed her hand from his pants smirking slightly when she locked eyes with him. "But I want double what she gets. I want to go all night with no breaks until sun rise. I know Uzume had a good time she's still sleeping." Not that it was a surprise, but for her to be sleeping this early was a bit of a shock, Toyotama rose from her seat placing a small and fleeting kiss on his neck. "I'll be waiting my Ashikabi." Ryu couldn't resist and with great speed he gave her ass a swift smack causing her to yelp and look back at him with gleaming eyes. "Be gentle with Yomi." She said as she left the room leaving Ryu staring.
"Everybody has lost their minds." He concluded shaking his head briskly. "And I think I'm starting to lose mine..." He shook his head in bemusement, he couldn't say he was unhappy. He could hear the chatter of his Sekirei or their thudding steps above him, they were all getting along or going about their business, not arguing and not competing; it was a relief, he was honestly sick and tired of them arguing and squabbling or the stupidest things. He felt his eyes dimming, finally tiredness was catching up to him, and he felt a pull, a very familiar pull in his center as if his consciousness was being warped and his perception shifting; as quickly as it came it left as Yomi's voice broke him out of the trance.
"Ryu-kun..." Yomi peeked in the room with a small smile gracing her face with a small blush, she inched deeper into his room stopping when she was right on the edge of it leaning against the frame. "Are you ready?" She blinked, feeling the air rush passed her and his door shut, as a yelp escaped her lips and she felt something firm pressing onto her torso. It couldn't be what she was thinking it was, carefully she reached forward feeling the warm skin of his torso.
"Come here." Ryu snaked both of his muscular arms around her small waist drawing her even closer to him. "Do you want me to be gentle?"
Yomi felt her cheeks heating up, nodding slightly she spoke just above a whsiper. "Yes, please."
Minato raked a hand through his raven hair, his blue-gray eyes dimming slightly as he pondered over the recent turn of events. Haruka and Kuno had left the room a few minutes ago, for once he felt much heavier, there was a lot riding on this. Too much riding on this and the odds weren't running in their favor. First of all it was raining like crazy, this had to be the worse thunderstorm he had seen since he was still in single digits, the second was that he would be going through this massive undertaking alone and not getting much help but he was already expecting this and naturally planned for it. Though there wasn't much planning one could do when you would be coming face to face with five killers.
"Minato-tan." Matsu said carefully, her voice soft and empathetic to some extent. She wanted to help him, it wasn't a question or a vague idea there was just something about how earnest he was with this entire operation that made her want to help. Granted she may irk Ryu in doing so, but he asked for her choice on the matter and she gave it with no hesitation; there wasn't any anger or disapproval in his eyes only resignation and acceptance. She knew better than anyone he gave up trying to sway any of their minds when it was set on something, he was fair if anything, and that she could appreciate heartily. "I'm still going to disable the satellite before this entire thing begins, can you handle the rest?"
"You'll still do that for me?" He questioned, eyes widening with shock and relief. She didn't have to do this for him, who was he to her? He was just another boy, another tenant he wasn't her Ashikabi and she wasn't his Sekirei. They had no attachments and shared no feelings for the other, they were friends, she helped him out in the beginning and was still helping him to this day, this very day. However, he didn't want to step on anyone's toes, he didn't want to piss Ryu off, he considered him a friend even if they never really sat down and talked there were no problems between them. And, he wanted to keep it that way. He smiled, looking into her exotic eyes, there was a warmth there something keen and serene he couldn't place. "But Ryu-san..." He trailed off.
"He isn't going to stop me." Matsu said with a small smile resisting the urge to giggle. She was one of his few Sekirei which he didn't even try to argue with or discourage in plots, in her case the seduction and experiments. Ryu just went with it, or he'd avoid her altogether so he didn't get smacked across the head by Miya with her trusty ladle or not be able to eat a meal, Kami forbid he missed a meal an the world ended, good thing she kept a stash of snacks she could persuade him with. I give you snacks and you give me a bit of fun was what she said at first, and it worked to this day since he couldn't argue against the fact he owed her.
Minato wasn't sure how to take that, so he just took at a face value. She was still offering her assistance.
"You should leave in the morning." Matsu said fixing her glasses. Hopefully this weather clears up, but it could be to my advantage if it doesn't.
"I will." Minato said giving a slight bow of gratitude, finding the need to. "Ur, what time?" He asked with a slightly blank look.
Resisting the urge to start shaking him, Matsu settled for a quiet breath pressing a hand to her forehead. "I leave that to you, but a half hour or hour after you wake up will be acceptable."
It was another one of those days.
"Does he ever shut up?" Koto questioned with annoyance radiating from his form, there wasn't a day that passed since he was alive that he didn't hear this loudmouth imbecile go about in his boisterous shouts and rambling. Normally Takami would punch him, or throw her clipboard right at him; that was his favorite one seeing that harmless piece of wood turn into a missile. He adjusted himself, putting one leg on the table in front of him fixing it with a hard glare as if it was making the constant booming tone. He was watching some cartoon that Luna watched on the daily basis when she wasn't busy, he was never one to really watch TV he found no point in in doing so, he would better spend his time training; but he was actually enjoying relaxing with Luna not being bothered by the others. "That stupid loudmouth monkey..." He growled sinking deeper into the couch, he didn't call humans with such a derogatory term like his three other teammates would, but damn it he was fed up with this idiot upstairs shouting to the walls.
"You know he goes outside, usually." Luna replied stretching her arms above her head, getting a nice crack in her lower back. She didn't pay too much mind to Minaka's usual foolery, if worse came to worse she'd just put on her headphones and tune him out completely, and she has known Benitsubasa for a long time. It was hard to say which one was louder, maybe if she broke it down into sheer volume and duration it'd make it a lot easier. It just down poured as they were making their way back, all of them got soaked and took individual showers. Koto opted to use his own for obvious reasons, and she was happy to agree, besides she normally took longer than he did. Now, Benitsubasa and Haihane were on the lower levels in the training room under Karasuba's watchful eye; while she and Koto were relaxing in the lounge. Funny, usually it's the opposite. She thought with a humorous smile. "Let's just finish watching this." She said rubbing his muscular arm slowly, turning up the volume to block out Minaka's obnoxious shouts.
Koto just grunted crossing his arms stiffly, he tried to ignore the echo ever few seconds, but it was getting to the point of ridiculous. How did Karasuba put up with him for all these years, how did Yume? If Minaka was this far off his rocker back then what possessed Yume to ever listen to him and follow orders, he was but a child then but even he didn't like Minaka since he'd spend all of his time babbling; although there were a few times where Karasuba would jam her sword through the wall or door missing the eccentric man by a few inches, Yume could only sigh at the spectacle and Koto could only look with mild annoyance and confusion. "I can't take it!" Koto snapped shooting up to his feet, ready to fly right through the door if he had to, but Luna gripped his wrist halting him in his tracks. If it wasn't for his enhanced balance and years of training he would have flew off of his feet, but instead he merely slid back a few inches.
"I can think of something better to do~" She said with a smile, standing up to her full height, she was just a few inches shorter than him ; and closed the distance between them with a stride. Maybe she was coming on too strong since she was sporting a yellow sports bra that showed off her developed breasts and ample amount of cleavage and a pair of white shorts that went to the very top of her thigh, nothing was left to his imagination; she let everything show barely staying modest, but was definitely alluring.
"I'm not sparring, not when Benitsubasa is so hyped up." It was for the best if he didn't, if they went at it now it'd result in the entire room being destroyed with holes in the wall, which would lead to MBI workers patching it up for the millionth time and a harsh session with Karasuba; he'd rather avoid both. "I want silence! And that big mouth needs to shut up or go outside."
Luna closed her eyes for a moment letting the sigh that wanted to escape make its way free, it would be like Koto to think she was talking about sparring. Did the thought that she wanted to kiss him and rip off his clothes ever come to mind? Probably not... She opened her eyes staring into his seeing that glint whenever he got angry, of course he didn't think about her tearing off his clothes he was angry and wanted to beat Minaka into a pancake, it was typical whenever he got focused on something everything else was just a mute point and didn't interest him in the least. Well, saying it wasn't going to get the point across so she did what she swore she wouldn't, she pounced on him eagerly mashing her lips with his own, Koto stood frozen with shock and surprise feeling a slight squeeze around his abdomen as Luna wrapped her long and shapely legs around his waist, and instinctively he gripped her full and shapely ass with some force easily supporting her. "I can help you work your aggression off with a much, much better way."
Passion, and warmth so much warmth. Koto didn't resist this time, he was tired of resisting it had been long enough since he exercised restraint and self control. Luna was practically saying take me I'm yours; he wasn't going to deny himself this time. The chance of finding his Ashikabi was slim, very slim it wasn't even in the one percent margin; he wasted so much time waiting. He traveled from one end of this country to the other, been in all four sectors for years, and yet he was no closer to finding his destined one than he was all those years ago; and he didn't want an Ashikabi, not after the crimes they committed against his kin, even going as far to kidnap two. There was no way in hell he could ever love someone belonging with them, and Luna felt the same way or had similar ideals as he did that much he was certain of. "Koto-kun!" Luna yelped feeling coolness caress her backside. "None of that here, go to my room!" She gripped his hand which had her shorts firmly gripped and pulled them back up fixing him with a stern look.
"Luna..." He inhaled slowly, the lingering scent of honey making its way into his nostrils. How could she just pounce him and expect him to carry her off to her room? It must have been a joke or a safety measure in case Haihane or Benitsubasa decided to enter the room and the ashen white haired Sekirei would put in one of her many, many anime collections and watch it from episode one all the way to the last. But, he did care if they seen him right now, but he just wanted Luna and these pesky clothes to go away. "We are going to my room." He said with a firm tone, nipping the side of her neck finding very much satisfaction when she let out a soft moan and her entire body tensed into him. "Any questions?" Luna opened her mouth while nodding slightly, but moaned softly again feeling his teeth sink into her neck again.
"No!" She cried out straining to stay quiet, as she dug her nails into the fabric on his back shuddering for a few seconds. "My room or your room, pick one!"
"Mine it is."
Meanwhile, in the lower floors of MBI tower, away from the crowing Minaka and away from Koto and Luna, Haihane and Benitsubasa were having their own dance. A deadly dance of super powered punches and slashing claws, it was a dance of the highest caliber it'd make top class ballerinas green with envy and top class sprinters faint from shock. Benitsubasa was like a tank she came forward throwing everything she had into every attack, she was direct and deliberate in her attacks using quick head movement to dodge and blow and find an opening in the other person's guard. Haihane was much swifter in her approach, she used her claws as a barrier plus measuring up her attacks with the talons, her dodges were swift and well timed, using the smallest of movements to surf around a tirade of strikes.
It had been two hours since the two began, under the watchful eye of Karasuba they were to spar until they gassed out or there was a winner. So far it was a stalemate between the Red and Blue Sekirei, but Karasuba wasn't surprised in the least; they were about equal in overall strength and their tactics were different cancelling the other out, when Benitsubasa dodged Haihane sprung forward unleashing a barrage of quick and measured swipes, when she took a pause in her movements Benitsubasa was already within striking range; throwing timed punches aiming for her face and body. "Break!" Karasuba commanded with a firm tone, and as swift as the wind the two Sekirei broke apart standing a few feet from each other.
"How was that Karasuba-sama?" Benitsubasa asked, eager to hear her leader's feedback.
Karasuba narrowed her eyes ever so slightly, casting a lazy glance in the fiery girl's direction, then back to Haihane who stood poised and ready. If Benitsubasa was asking who was stronger, she couldn't answer that honestly since they were both relatively equal. Benitsubasa held an edge in strength and technique, while Haihane held an edge in speed and being able to read her opponent's moves better. "It was... Exceptional." She answered after a few silent moments ignoring Benitsubasa's loud shout at hearing her approval, but it wasn't much considering she rarely gave praise.
"Yo, Natsuo!" Haihane called waving a clawed hand nonchalantly as she watched the slim man into the training room with the same relaxed smile as usual. Karasuba resisted the urge to growl and glare at him, he was not allowed to interfere in their training by any means. This included what he was doing now, just strolling in like he owned the whole place and wasn't in the room with her, maybe it was the fact she wasn't his Sekirei like how things were supposed to be originally, or it could be something else but she didn't care.
"Natsuo, what do you want?" She asked dryly, turning to face him completely.
"Are we going shopping!?" Benitsubasa interjected launching herself over to Natsuo, thus by extension ending the training session. Haihane didn't react nearly as boisterous as Benitsubasa and instead opted to stay where she was though she relaxed her stance; and Karasuba stood with a menacing air her lazy gray eyes narrowed dangerously as she took a step towards him.
"I asked you a question." Her tone changing from light and lazy to direct.
"I could take you shopping if you like." Natsuo said smiling at Benitsubasa as she babbled some gibberish while she began to fawn over him nodding her head eagerly. Turning his focus away from the shopping mall, and shopping in general he adjusted his glasses quickly with a serious look in his eyes though the smile remained. "Tomorrow I would like you take them all out Karasuba, there have been many suspicious movements by a few Ashikabi and it can't be overlooked as a mere coincidence." He studied the older Sekirei's expression, though she remained still she gave the barest of nods having no issue going out to find someone to kill.
"You're not talking about the escape?" Haihane asked with a bemused expression. "That's madness, no one would do that."
"Are you doubting Natsuo-sama!?" Benitsubasa exclaimed about to lunge at her white hiared partner but seeing Karasuba's hard gaze and Natsuo gently grabbing her by the wrist she halted herself, though she continued glowering at Haihane.
"To be sure I'd like all you to go out on patrol. I don't know where Koto and Luna are at this moment, but I mean them as well." Natsuo said with an easy tone, clarifying the minor details. It was just a hunch he had, but the movements of these Ashikabi were going on for days now, if there was a plan in the works, some way to get back at MBI or escape the capital, these individuals would find a way and he couldn't allow that. Though he wouldn't go out there to stop these idiots himself, it was too amusing to see how this entire thing would turn out. "If you don't mind Karasuba-san."
"Go ahead." The gray hair Sekirei waved her hand dismissively. She wasn't going to say no to him taking Bentsubasa shopping in the pouring rain, and the mall was bound to close in another three hours. So they'd better skip to it as the saying went. Haihane spared the two with a wav before turning her eyes on her leader once Natsuo and Benitsubasa were out of the room and their conversation faded down one of the any halls.
"Do you think it's going to happen?" Haihane asked looking at Karasuba with curiosity.
"Who knows." She replied with a small laugh as she made her way towards the door. "You know how the saying goes..."
"The one about lying and then crying wolf?"
"No, People do crazy things when they're in love." Karasuba's smirk widened as she could see Yume's face twisting with remorse and disappointment while she pile bodies up by the hundreds. "I hope you see this... This is what those light words and ramblings you bored me with for so long ultimately get you..." She fingered the hilt of her sword, resisting the urge to draw it and slice through the wall itself. "On the other end of my sword with a hole in your chest."
