Chapter 09 – Evil Shows his face

The digidestened group were discussing on the recent discovery that they made about the black gears as the made their way towards somewhere that they cat rest, without realizing that two figures were in the shadows watching them.

"Must .. kill …. Digidestened!" An eery voice was heard in the wind as it travelled towards the children.

With the Digidesteneds

Taichi, Yamato & Izzy were talking on how all of the black gears, while the others were ahead of the three of them. But that is when all of them hear the eery voice coming from all around them and that just frightens everyone.

"Who's that?" Mimi & Joe manages to stutter out with fear.

Gomamon & Palmon looked at their partners with a "Shrug!" of the shoulders as they tell the others "We don't know, but be careful because we do not know what kind of Digimon's are out there" The children started to get scared from this warning. However, Gohan Kari are excited on the future challenges that is ahead of them.

Before they can sit down and rest, a huge shadow appeared behind all of them and that just made all of them turn around slowly and that's when all of them see a Digimon that looks like Leormon's champion form Leomon but in a darker skin colour.

"Oh, that is Leomon he's a defender of the little Digimon, so don't worry he is on our side!" Biyomon told Sora and the others with a reassuring tone in her voice. Although, that quickly changes when they see the lion Digimon moving towards the sword that is on his back "Must…kill….Digidestened!" Leomon mutters out in a trance – like state which scares all of the children, including their Partner Digimon at the same time, Hikari and Sora brought out their Digivice's hopping that they can get some information on the obvious changes that is found on Leomon.

Digi – Analyser

Leomon: is an animal digimon, it is called the 'King of the Beast' as well the 'Noble Hero' while most digimon are ferocious it possesses a strong will and a heart of justice and has defeated a lot of fiendish digimon. Also, it is a rival to the 'Digimon Hunter' Ogremon who runs the whole gamut of destruction. Its tough flesh, tempered well by daily training, can endure any attack and since it chokes the life out of the opponent with its quick attack, Leomon can be said a Combat Species it carries a sentient magic sword (Shishio Maru – Lion Kings Sword) on its waist. Also, it is matchless friends with Garudamon, who possess the same Cyclonemon's right eye was crushed by Leomon.

Leomon is a muscular Lion – Man with orange fur, yellow mane, yellow fur on its legs and the tip of his tail, blue eyes, black ear tips and a scar on it arms, left foot, eft side of its face. Its ears are on collar with a blue gem in the middle and multiple red teeth around it, black pants with yellow cords forming Multiple "X" on its side, a square metallic buckler on its waist, three others on its left arm, another on its left hand, and another on its pantleg . it carries a sword in the back on its belt.

But the two girls were sad because the only Information that the two of them manages to get was the same one that they read before. However, before any of them was able to pull out their Digivice's out in the open, Leomon sends a "Fist Of The Beast King!" Towards the children hopping hit all of them in one go.

Gohan the others manages to jump out of the way in the last minute with just a few scratches on their bodies and that is when Taichi thought that it would be better for all of the to make a distraction and get far away from the possessed lion – humanoid digimon.

After they managed to escape Leomon, but that's when they saw the an entrance towards an eery looking forest that looks like it's hunted.

"That so looks like from a scary movie that I've once watched with Kari!" Gohan said out of nowhere. However, he was quickly silenced by a blushing Kari as she just smacks the saiyan over his head and didn't want the others to know on the other things that they did that knight.

All of a sudden Mimi entered the old house along with Palmon hopping that they can get a proper shower or bath instead of using a lake to clean herself, while the others just look at them with a sweat – drop on their face and after some time Taichi told the others that it's better to enter the building.

Gohan the others were pondering on what they should do but after a couple of minutes, all of them felt that the temperature was getting colder 'Is it me or is the temperature dropping?' the six children digimon thought at the same time.

Inside the Castle

Taichi and the others entered the building and that is when they saw Takeru & Patomon looking at a painting that had an angle on it.

"Oy, Takeru what are you looking at?" Matt questioned his little brother when he saw the boy looking at the portrait.

The little boy looked at his older brother with a large smile on his face "Oni – Chan look it's an angle!" the little boy said in excitement. And that is when Matt looked at the painting with the others, but he didn't get the same feeling as his younger brother. Instead, he was getting a sinister feeling from the painting and before he can say something the others were already following the delicious smell of food.

"Huh, where are they?" Matt asked Gabumon after he notices that it's just the two of them.

The Digimon said nothing to the boy, instead he just pointed towards the main dining room and that just made Matt roll his eye's in annoyance at his friends as he looks at Gabumon "Let's follow them Gabumon" He said towards his partner as he headed towards the room that everyone just entered.

When the two of them entered the dining, Matt & Gabumon saw all of their friends at the table stuffing their faces with all of the food that was on the table.

"Oy, leave some grub for us, don't hog it all!" Matt shouted towards the group. And he rushes towards the table with his partner Digimon hopping to grab something before it's all gone.

That is when Matt grabs one of the empty seats which is right next to his brother, while Gabumon seats next to Matt so that doesn't embarrass himself when he's eating.

After everyone finishes their meal, Mimi asked is they could've seen a bathroom when they entered the mansion, and the one who answered the pink loving girl was Gohan who told Mimi that it is past the dining room, down the hallway and the bathroom can be found in the second door to right. However, when all of the girls in the group heard that, they quickly gotten up from their seats along with their partners as they headed towards the bathroom for a relaxing bath.

With the boys

Gohan and the other boys were looking at each other with an awkward silence in the room, but that's when Taichi asked them if they also wanted a nice and relaxing bath in the Hot Springs.

"YES!" All of them shouted in excitement at the google headed boy.

That's when all of them headed towards the same direction which the girls went for a nice relaxing dip in the Hot Springs, and when they got there Joe and Izzy saw the sign on the wall were the it shows the Boys Girls side for the Hot Spring.

Boy's Side

Taichi the other were taking of their clothes and placing it in their baskets along with their Digivice's, but they made sure that it's hiding withing their clothes for safety in case someone tries to steal them.

hat is when everyone entered the springs, but Gohan was the only one in the group than someone was missing 'Huh, where's Gomamon?' the saiyan thought to himself as he looks everywhere.

The saiyan looks towards the glasses wearing boy "Um Joey, where's Gomamon?" Gohan asked the boy when he couldn't find the seal – type digimon anywhere in the waters which worried the saiyan.

That actually makes him and the others boys in the bath stop for a moment, as they started to look around while they panicked at the same time while calling his name out loud. After a while they couldn't find the seal digimon and that is when they decided to just carry on with their baths, but that is when Taichi saw Izzy & Matt came closer to the saiyan.

"Gohan/Son – San, are you & Kari in a relationship?" The two of them asked the young saiyan at the same time.

That is when Gohan stops washing his body with his tail and looks at the two of them "Yeah, the two of us got together a while before camp started and it is because of her that I can trust people again" Gohan tells them an edited version of his past without saying the whole truth to them.

When the two boy heard the Saiyan's past it made two of them feel bad about the people that broke Gohan's trust on people and they were also shock that his own mother would try to blame the death of his father through an incurable illness on him, but they were happy that his godmother adopted him from his dark environment.

After that he also told them that the only reason that she fake her emotion was that he could rich and make her life easier. However, that only just increases the boy's anger at the people from his past.

What all of the boy's didn't realise is that their whole conversation was being heard by the girls on the side who were listening in on them.

That's is when everyone heard Gomamon's cry coming from the sky, and when they turned their heads towards the sky where they saw the seal – like digimon falling towards them with a panicked looked on his face.

"Gomamon!" All of the boys shouted in surprise and shock when they caught sight of the digimon.

After they got their senses back, Joe makes sure to grabs his partner in a strong hold so that he doesn't run away as the two of them walks towards the edge of the bath so that he could scold the digimon for his action.

Girl's Side

All of the girls were relaxing in the Hot – Springs, while talking with one another and that is when Mimi notices Kari in the back hiding away from everyone as she's relaxing.

Mimi slowly walks towards the hidden girl without making a sound, hopping that she doesn't notice her "Kari – Chan why are you back here on your own?" she whispered gently into the Kari's ear. However, when Mimi was close enough to her, she notices something coiled around her waist 'Hm, what's that?' she thought to herself as she walks a bit closer to get a closer look.

"Yes, Mimi is there anything that I can help you with?" Kari said all of sudden, as she was surprised that she was noticed by the younger girl. However, what the two of them didn't know is that Sora is keeping a close eye on the two of them with a watchful eye.

The two of them were talking with one another, on how she Gohan first met but that is when all of the girls in the water heard a lot of noise coming from the boys side.

"Huff, why are the boys being this noisy and this loud at this time in the night?" Sora, Biyomon & Salamon said at the same time.

That is when a white seal – like digimon swam towards them "I know right, they can't relax or can't calm down in the bath" Gomamon said to all of the girls as he announces his presences to all of them. That just made all of the girls in the bath freak out when they say heard a males voice in the waters.

"You're a man, so make sure to stay on your side of the bath!" Palmon shouted at the Seal – Like Digimon as she wraps her vines around him & throws Gomamon towards the males side.

Gomamon had a panicked look on his face when he saw Palmon's vines wrapping around his body "Oy, Palmon hol….!" He couldn't finish because the small digimon was thrown towards the males side.

"Aghhhhhhhhh!" Gomamon shouted out as he was flying towards the man's bath.

That is when the girls started to think on different ways to punish the seal – like digimon, but that's when they all heard the conversation between Gohan, Matt Izzy on Gohan's past.

After all of the girls heard the Saiyan's past, it made their tears to come out, and before they could continue a strong voice stop them "DON'T PITY MY GOHAN!" Kari shouted out at the others in the bath she shouted in a fit of rage at all of them, as she new her mate seeing someone looking at him in pity. Although, Sora looks at the younger girl with a disapproving for yelling but at the same time she's proud of Kari for Defending Gohan like that.

That made all of them (Except: Sora) stop crying and turn towards the young girl with a shocked look on their faces "Kari – Chan did you already know?" they all asked her.

The young girl said nothing to them as she nodded to them, and that is when she told them on how Gohan explained the full story when he woke from his mini coma in our apartment after me, Sora – Onechan & Onichan found him in a horrible state.

They'll understood and waited for her to say the full story, but they saw that Kari just remained quit the whole time.

Palmon Mimi walk closely to the two girls "Um, aren't you going to explain the full story?" They question the two of them.

"No, that's because it isn't our story to share or tell. Gohan will tell you when he's ready and if he could trust Humans more, instead of me, Kari or Taichi" Sora told them with a sad look on her face, as she thought of the boy she saw as her brother.

That brought a depressed look on all of the faces, when they realised that one of their own friends has some trust issues with humans.

"And what about you two Taichi?" Biyomon brought up a valid point.

Sora and Kari told them that Kari was the only person who Gohan trusted straight away, and thanks to that he started to trust more people a week after thanks to Kari showing him that there are more good people in the world.

"And my Gohan is starting to trust the others in the group because he's starting to act like a normal child again" Kari joins the conversion after she sees that Sora just finishes her own conversation. And that brought some smiles to the girls as they saw that he'll get better over time.

That is when all of them just had a normal conversation after they got out of the waters, and made their ways towards their rooms.

Bedrooms

Gohan and the other guys was the first one to leave the waters as they got dressed and headed towards the bedrooms so that they can lay down for the night.

An Hour Later

After an hour has gone by and everyone is in their own beds sharing it with their own partner Digimon's, as for Gohan Kari brought their own bed's closer to one another so that two of them can sleep in the same bed along with Leormon and Salamon at the end of their beds. However, what all of them didn't know is that a dark shadow was targeting them.

"OY, EVERYONE WAKE UP BECAUSE WE'RE BEING ATTACKED!" They heard Tachi's loud voice calling out to them.

That quickly woke the four of them up in a panic state from the slumber 'Why know?' Both of them grumbles in anger.

That just made the two of them get up from their bed and try to wake up their Digimon's who were at the end of their own bed.

"Salamon, Wake up please!" Kari said as she sked the puppy digimon from her slumber.

Gohan was trying to do the same with his partner digimon "Leormon wake up it's an emergency!" The saiyan said to his partner as he's trying to wake up his partner using the same method that Kari is using.

When Kari And gohan saw that their partners were up, and that's when they quickly ran towards the Goggle – headed boy his orange partnered lizard.

With Taichi

Taichi & Agumon were looking at the devil – like digimon with a fear stricken look on their faces, but that is when they are reunited with a Mind – Controlled Leomon once again.

"Leomon!" Taichi Agumon said in shocked when they saw the digimon again.

That's when Taichi sees a green like ogre digimon appearing right next to Leomon "Ogremon!" The boy hears his partner mutter out in shock. /span/p

"Huh! Agumon who's that?" Taichi questions his partner.

Agumon takes a deed breath, so that he could calm himself down "That's Ogremon He Leomon are sworn enemies, so I'm surprised that they're working together" Agumon explains what he knows to his human. However, that is when Taichi thought of a better way to get more information on their enemies, and that is when he pointed his own Digivice towards the Ogre – like Digimon./span/p

Digimon Analyser

Ogremon: is an Evil digimon. It is a digimon resembling an 'Oni' In Japanese folklore. The attack it carries with its muscles have tremendous power. It has a high intelligence, but a rough temper, the driving force behind its destructive anger. It is very belligerent, and is "Digimon Hunter" due to seeking to fight bold digimon with as much combat power as itself. It carries a bone club that is said to a femur from a slain MetalGreymon. It is a rival to Leomon.

2. Level – Champion.

3. Type - Ogre & Evil Digimon.

4. Attribute – Virus.

5. Family – Nightmare Soldier, Nature Spirits & Dark Area.

Attacks

. Pummel Whack: (Haouken, Tyrant Fist) – Fires dark energy from its fist from its fist. However, sometime the energy that he fire looks like Ogremon's own face, as it similar to Leomon's Fist Of The Beast King.

. Bone Mace: (Hone Konbou) – Whacks the enemies with its club.

. Faint Punch: (Feint Punch).

. Strong Maul.

. Bone Strike – attacks hard with a hard bone club.

That actually surprised the google – headed boy when Taichi read the part about Leomon's rival, that is when he thought about Gohan's digimon partner Leormon 'Isn't that Leormon's evolved form, so that would mean that Gohan & Kari are in danger!' He thought to himself in panic and fear after he thought of that possibility.

Just when Taichi was about to digivolve his partner, but that's Gohan, Leormon, Kari and their Digimon's ran besides him "Taichi – Ni/ One – Chan are Ok?" The two children said at the same towards him.

"Sigh!" Taichi lets out a deep breath when he saw his two brothers ran into the room 'Why did they have to appear know?' he thought to himself in done with the world tone.

"Yeah I'm fine!" He said to them.

Gohan looks at his partner with a serious look on his face "Leormon Digivolve!" The Saiyan said to his partner, and that is when hie Digivice started glowing before Taichi could say anything.

"No, Gohan sto…!" Taichi wasn't able to finish his sentence after hearing the Saiyan's next few words.

That is when the light from Gohan's Digivice surrounded the lion digimon as he "LEORMON DIGIVOLVE TO…..!" everyone heard when they all entered the room and saw Gohan's Partner digivolving.

Digivolution Sequence (Brave Heart)

That is when the light from Gohan's Digivice broke into a D.N.A code that Hits Leormon on the top of her Main and that is when the white light started to cover the cub's whole body.

After that an image of a digimon that looks like a lion with sculptured body appeared when the D.N.A. Code showed up again after disappearing when the bright light was gone.

After the whole lightshow ended a new digimon stood Infront of everyone "LEOMON!" The proud lion – warrior called out.

"Leomon!" Ogremon whispered in anger when he saw his own rival Infront of the ogre digimon.

But that is when all of them go into silence when a new digimon landed Infront of the Chosen Children "What's taking to so long to get rid of them Ogremon?" they hear the devil like digimon demand from one of his servants.

"Devimon – Sama!" Ogremon announces the new digimon out fear. However, Taichi and Gohan thought that they would have a better advantage over their enemy if they had some extra information, that is when the two of them brought out their Digivice's out at the same time.

Digimon Analyser

Devimon: is an Evil Digimon. Its body is clad in jet – black cloth. Although it was originally a Shinning Angemon – Species Digimon, it was lured to the Dark Side by DemiDevimon and fell to the Dark Area, becoming a fallen angel. As proof of that, the Mark of Evil surfaced dramatically on his chest. It has a cunning and fiendish personality, but it also possess an outstanding intellect. It is said that those stared into its two eyes, which shine a deep crimson, are mind – controlled and completely dominated by Devimon's mind. Although it has the same outwards appearance and special move as the Devimon that inhabited File Island, it seems its lethal potential and power are remarkably increased.

2. Type: Fallen Angle & Evil.

3. Attribute: Virus.

4. Family: Nightmare Soldier & Dark Area.

Attacks

. The Touch Of Evil: (Death Claw) – Extends both of its extendible, elongated arms even further, and enforces its will on the opponent's body.

. Laser Wing: (Leather Wing).

. Dungeon Curse: (Hell Contract).

. Death Hand: Unleashes a blast of unholy energy from hands.

. Deadly Nail: Scratches using the nails on both hands.

The information that everyone just heard from Taichi, made same on them nervous as for the others they were worried on fighting such a strong enemy this early on their journey.

That's when Devimon did the most underhanded method that was possible, as he sends all of the Chosen Children onto their beds at the same time he focuses more on Gohan Kari as he believe that the two of them would be a problem in the future.

Devimon starts to send all of them to different conners of File Island. However, at the same time he makes sure to send two of the three children towards the worst possible location on File Island.

Gohan was doing his best to make sure that himself Kari don't get separated from one another but he still manages to send a small K.I Blast to Devimon. But that is when he pointed his arm towards them "But first I'll get rid of the smallest ones" everyone heard Devimon say, as the bed with Gohan Kari were on was the first one the fallen – angle digimon sends into the darkest and dangerous area in File Island.

"GOHAN/HIKARI!" Taichi shouted in worry when he saw the two of them disappear from his sight.

The Chosen Children were in a silent trance after they saw two of their friends disappear, but that is when they hear Devimon's evil and maniacal laughter, but before they can Digivolve their partners all of them were send towards their own beds as a invisible force of gravity was crushing them & making sure that they can't move from their beds.

"Now Disappear into the darkness and parish alone" Devimon announces with a maniac grin on his face. Although, that is when all of them flew through the opening Gohan and Kari opened up.

Devimon's (Pov)

I watched as all of the chosen children were gone from the castle after i sent them away, besides my most loyal servants Leomon & Ogremon.

"Devimon – Sama do you want us to destroy them?" Ogremon asked me.

I thought about it after a while, but that's when I ordered the to destroy the children, but I also made sure that they needed to focus on the children as they could be the most dangerous ones of the whole group.

"As you wish Devimon – Sama!" they said to me while going towards the children.

End Of (Pov)

Devimon was looking at the dork sky of the digital world with a smile as he disappeared from there.

END OF CHAPTER 09
