"Hah! Looks like I got here just in time!" Benitusbasa shouted, announcing her presence to everyone around her. Koto, Luna, and Haihane stood close weapons drawn and ready, Haihane having a particular menacing grin on her face. Just to their side Yahan, Saki, Natsu stood poised and ready with Kaiha and Kujou not too far away from them. Just a few feet away from them stood Higa with his numerous Sekirei Juma taking the front, Kakizaki close by with his own Sekirei Kochou excluded who was still in the tower.
The air was thick with tension.
"Oh, look who decided to show up." Oriha sneered at the Fist type, making a show of her razor discs controlling them with a simple impulse forcing them into a wild hemisphere-type spin. "You better stay back if you know what's good for you! Higa-sama controls the east with an iron fist, you bloodthirsty hounds days are numbered!"
"I'll tear your head off your shoulders!" Benitsubasa snarled venomously, taking her spot next to Haihane. It was just natural to be at her side, and thankfully she wasn't making quips or jokes, she was focused like a laser on their targets. "I find it funny you're so big and brave in front of your she-male of an Ashikabi Hiba. I cornered you alone and you were practically shivering like the little rat that you are!" She really wanted to pound the life from the mouthy little Sekirei, she had been wound up tight since the bridge incident, she was looking for a release.
"You better show some respect!" Kakizai glowered.
"It is Higa-sama, you presumptuous brat." Aika , a tall and busty blonde haired dark dress, tights, and collar wearing Sekirei practically growled leering at Benitsubasa. In her hands tightly clasped of course, was a pair of razor sharp whips each one capable of tearing her flesh off without any trouble. Aika's eyes narrowed to slits, she spotted a blur of movement just out the corner of her eye, and it came into sharper clarity as a person. A man to be exact not much older than twenty at most with brown hair, flanking him was Akiko-but the other girl with raven black hair she had no idea who she was.
"Well, isn't that pleasant." Higa chuckled, stepping forward through his line of Sekirei. "The hounds have increased their numbers, as if it's going to make a difference in the end. You all really think you're accomplishing something, you're not accomplishing anything and only wasting your time and my time. "
"You insult us by calling us hounds." Koto growled, eyes glinting with hatred just as Higa's were-but there was a keen difference between the two. Koto's eyes were red hot like magma, while Higa's were cold like ice. They had been coined hounds or bloodthirsty hounds of MBI by the Sekirei guardian Homura, from there it seemed second nature that Ashikabi and Sekirei alike were referring to them as such. "We are wolves don't ever get that mixed up." His voice was laced with a million threats, if he was called a hound one more time someone's head was going to fly 50 plus feet.
"That is what you are." Ichiya commented landing swiftly across from them, a smirk crossing her face. "Hounds bound and shackled by that faggot Natsuo, Minaka's little bitch!"
"I dare you to say that again!" Benitsubasa screamed, screaming so loud that everyone close at least grimaced. For a girl so small she could be very loud. "I'll rip your arms from their sockets and beat you to death with them!" She was deadly serious, and it wouldn't be the first time she ripped someone's arm off and beat them to death with it.
"Cheap insults are pathetic." Luna reprimanded.
"Is that-" Ichiya started but Juma cut her off swiftly.
"Shut up, Ichiya." Juma said in an extremely cold manner. Ichiya sent her a glare but listened to her command, when Juma spoke everyone listened including Kakizaki. Higa trusted her most, next to Kakizaki. Juma leveled a glare ten times more intense than Ichiya's making the girl take a step back in caution. "If she loses control and decides to dart over here I will not be covering your ass. We're dealing with the Demon Commander, not to mention these new recruits." Her irises flicked to Kai who stood with a stony expression sword already clasped in both hands.
"We can't keep running!" Oriha snapped. "I've had enough of these bastards sticking their nose where it doesn't belong!"
"Hahaha, well is that right?" There was a sinister laugh, absolutely bone chilling from above followed by the deafening whirl of helicopter propellers. And, hanging out of the window with her trademark grin was Karasuba. She wasted no time in letting go dropping to the ground like a bullet, sticking her landing and absorbing the energy with her powerful legs and hip flexors. "I've got some breaking news for you then, little girl. MBI has had this city on lockdown controlling and seizing all parts of it..." She chuckled watching Oriha glare at her though there was fear shining in her eyes. "That's going to be one hundred fold now. If you value your lives tuck your tails between your legs and scram before your bodies and limbs are splattered all over the cement."
"I don't think that's a bluff." Kakizaki whispered to Higa.
"It's not. She's deadly serious." Higa knew well enough about Karasuba. The sadistic bloodthirsty Sekirei tore through all parts of Teito her path trailed by blood and disfigured bodies. She loved to kill, relished her victims screams, two of his Sekirei were cut down by her while they were still in the first stage of this ridiculous farce. However, he had a numbers edge at this moment, in addition to his own Sekirei Kakizaki brought along some of his. "However, I am not running away this time, it's time these hounds know just who it is that they're dealing with."
"I gave you fair warning!" Koto snapped into their chatter. "Do not call us hounds. Now someone is going to die, painfully and slowly. If you're lucky it's going to be a level four termination." He had it up to his eyebrow with Higa, first with hunting down Sekirei, then trying to fight back actually fight back against them whenever they went on patrol into the east. He was a brat just like Hayato the only difference was Higa was older, and by all means should have known better. He scanned the Sekirei eyes with a measured coldness. eyes flicking from Oriha to Juma to Katsuragi to Oriha to Aika and to the ten others in addition. "Now who is going to be?"
"You don't scare me!" Oriha shouted defiantly.
"Can I beat her ass?" Benitsubasa asked, turning to Koto and Karasuba who both seemed ready to just jump across their gap and start tearing through everyone including Higa. For a second she didn't even want to ask them, of course she wanted to just run over there and start cracking heads, but in this situation it was foolish to do such a thing and she wasn't ordered to do so. But, Oriha was really starting to get on her nerves, and drawing Karasuba and Koto out from their death glares could admittedly be a bit frightening. "That little wench is really starting to get on my nerves!"
"It's just not you." Haihane told Benitsubasa. "Believe me, I'm just chomping at the bit to rip her guts out."
"So it's just isn't me." Kaiha laughed. "Good, because for a second I just thought it was me."
"Trust me it's not." Kujou spoke up.
Kai was content to watch the entire spectacle, he had been in his fair share of fights having been dragged into this whole thing, and he had to admit watching Benitsubasa practically growling like a dog was rather amusing. More importantly it gave him ample time to study his enemies just a few meters away, he already knew of Kakizaki personally having nearly broken the man's ribs and saving Akiko from being forcibly winged by the pig.
Higa... He knew enough about him, he was an arrogant, pompous brat with a sense of entitlement stretching from here all the way to the states. He was known for forcing Sekirei into being winged, and if they disobeyed or rebelled they were dealt with. His eyes narrowed to slits, here was Higa once again with that pompous ass attitude, it made him so angry on so many levels. Kai stepped up keeping his eyes locked on Higa's practically burning them into his. "Higa." As he spoke Karasuba and Koto, everyone for that matter turned to look at him, waiting. "You've already been warned, you had better get your spoiled ass out of here right now or I am going to attack. And, you can ask Kakizaki you will never see it coming." He pointed his sword forward, eyes narrowed even more. "I know you all follow his orders, but if you have any sense at all you better leave now."
"And, just who the hell are you?" Aika spat. "Warning us, telling us to retreat, who the hell do you think you are? You're a stupid brat just like that hot Benitsubasa over there."
"I'll shove that collar down your throat and make you choke on it." Benitsubasa leered at her. Honestly what was keeping her back?
"You should be thankful for his kindness." Storm, somehow, someway was in front of Kai and her eyes were blistering with woman fury. Nobody talked to Kai that way, especially not after he was kind enough to give them another warning. It wasn't enough Karasuba and Koto gave warnings, and Koto declaring somebody over there was going to be dying a slow and agonizing death. "Listen here you stupid bimbo, if you value your life at all you will turn around and start walking. I'm not as kind as Kai, and I don't take insults kindly especially when they're directed towards him!" She was a hair away from attacking, attacking with such ruthless measured precision there wouldn't be anything left of Kaie to speak of her pitiful existence.
"You've gone and done it now." Kaiha chuckled. If things couldn't get any worse than they have, they did just now. "Insulting Kai, now you've pissed Firestorm off. You've pissed me off too."
Higa only scoffed, growing tired of this back and forth. Karasuba was here, Koto was here it was all too grand in a sense. Here he was in his territory and all of the squad was gathered, had he been more flippant he'd offer to take them to his tower to have a little sit down. But, that wasn't happening they wouldn't be in his tower, and they were about to get the hell out of his turf one way or another. "Oriha, you seem to have a bit of history with them would you care to squash it?" Higa fixed his gaze onto her. "Juma, Ichiya, Aika, Katsuragi, Akane help her." He looked at them next, eyes fixing onto Akane-a tall and slim, but curvy light brown haired woman with matching eyes, and a rather traditional outfit of black hakama, red kimono and white tabi and zori. Her weapon was very intimidating bearing great resemblance to the Yari, with a blade measuring at three feet in total the handle measuring out at seven feet. "Don't lose control this time." He said pointedly.
"I would love to, Higa-sama." Oriha responded. This was another change to earn his approval and win him over, even if he was cold... When she accomplished her task with no failure she could feel some sliver of happiness.
"Don't worry about it," Akane smirked, clasping the hilt of her shaft with both hands. "I won't cut off their arm this time."
"Enough of your stupid jokes, Akane follow orders." Juma practically demanded, her tone not rising though t dropped dangerously low, her gaze hardened.
"Sure thing." Akane waved her hand dismissively.
"Okay, so who is going take care of this nuisance?" Karasuba asked in a long drawl. She had no problem cleaving through Oriha, it wouldn't be the first Sekirei and sure as hell wouldn't be the last she cleaved with her sword. But, she could feel anger rising off of everyone gathered, Haihane was glowering at the group in front of them, Koto looked like he was ready to just say to hell with it and kill them all even if a major variable as Minaka dubbed it was taken out the game rather early, but the one who caught her attention the most was Storm. The busty woman was glaring with a cold rage. "Firestorm, you seem to be willing to the task." Karasuba stated.
"I've got the blonde." Storm stated. "She's mine."
"I guess Benitsubasa is going to take the runt."
"Fucking finally!" The Fist type shouted strutting forward. "Sorry Kaiha and Haihane, this little twit has my glove written all over her face." The two women just responded with light shrugs, Karasuba asked Benitsubasa and she agreed, they weren't stupid enough to go against what could be considered an order. And, Oriha was just a small fry in Higa's legion of Sekirei, it was laughable Higa even considered taking her.
"I'll take Ichiya." Kaiha declared, stabbing both of her very, very large curved blades into the cement gouging several inches deep.
"I've got the one in that one piece." Haihane grinned, eyes locking onto Katsuragi.
"That leaves me with Juma." Koto glanced at her with a degree of coldness that was chilling.
"Bring it on!" Oriha challenged. They dashed for each other, colliding in blows and blades their fights breaking off away from each other. The battle was quick and intense, the ground rattled from the furious blows tearing craters and gashes around them. Benitsubasa dodged one disc, sliding down and to the side just an inch more and her neck would have been sliced, she smirked springing towards Oriha throwing one fist, throwing them both through the front window of a nearby restaurant their battle drawing attention and screams. This went on for twenty minutes, back and forth, both sides causing damage to each other and the area.
"Hah! Is that the best you can do!?" Oriha yelled at Benitsubasa backing away into a wall of cement.
"You are a stupid one." Koto shook his head. He didn't pity her in the least. He despised Higa and his cowardice. He even despised the Sekirei under him, because they too were just as bad if not worse than Higa. "Why don't you look behind you and see where your Ashikabi has gone. That damned coward."
Oriha glared. Who was he to tell her what to do? But, against her better thoughts she turned around, eyes widening as the trademark white car was speeding off well into the distance by now. She was speechless and unmoving, Higa left her? But, why this is what he wanted wasn't he going to stay and watch her rip Benitsubasa to shreds with her discs? She slowly turned back to face Benitsubasa, her heart sinking into her stomach at the reality of the situation. "He already knew you would lose that's why he's left you here to fend for yourself he didn't even leave a few more Sekirei to help you." Benitsubasa's words made her growl.
"I don't need any help!" Oriha snapped. She was going to defiant to the end. Perfect.
"You're going to wish you did have help. Don't worry Takami is aleady waiting for you."
"Ahh!" Toyotama sighed in relief, throwing herself onto the large couch that Ryu had purchased some time ago. It was very spacious if she had to say so herself. "It's good to be back home!" The party was fun, she even had fun, but there was no place like home. And, she couldn't shake the feeling that they should have been doing something more than just sitting around like they were. The bridge battle snapped something into her mind.
"Yeah, yeah." Uzume scowled sitting on the seat opposite of her. She wanted to stay a bit longer, she didn't know why Ryu was always leaving so early, she couldn't ultimately argue with him about it, but if she got to drink sake with Kazehana that would have made her day. She didn't even have a single drop. "I swear sometimes you're so anti-social I have to wonder just how you met Ryu-kun."
"It doesn't matter how I did." Toyotama stated. It wounded her pride the circumstances surrounding their meeting and her winging, she had never ran from anyone r anything but did that day, and to boot she asked for help. Something she never wanted to do. Ryu seen her at her most vulnerable. "And, I'm not anti-social I just don't babble on and on about a bunch of rubbish like you do, Uzume." She stated this matter of factly. Uzume did have the tendency to rant and rave and just babble about nothing, ranting whenever she was woken up, raving when she didn't get her way like now, and babble which was negated since she didn't guzzle down any sake.
"Okay, that's enough you two." Ryu declared, fixing both of them with a light glare. These two could be playful when it came to bantering, but that could all change in the span of a second, Uzume was a bit too carefree and Toyotama valued privacy. It was a wonder they got along at all, but that wasn't the point. They would be getting along. "I'm going to wash up, can you two not kill each other while I'm gone?" He questioned a bit jokingly. Uzume wouldn't kill Toyotama, but Toyotama could be a bit quick to get mad and try strangling her, though this time Uzume hadn't groped her in the bath so...
"Go and take a shower." Toyotama said almost exasperated. "As long as she keeps her hands to herself, we're fine."
"Right, what she said." Uzume rolled her eyes.
Ryu gave a nod looking over the two carefully one last time before leaving. Ahiko and Hari followed after him, surprisingly Uzume or Toyotama didn't make a comment or quip which was rather strange considering they would just to see if they could fluster Ryu or Ahiko, they tried to fluster Hari and it didn't work she just smiled and nodded along. Not their cup of tea per say. "Are you going to your room?" Ryu asked, looking at Ahiko and Hari, his eyes widened just a bit. They practically looked alike, aside from Ahiko being much more developed and having longer and darker hair they looked identical even had the same big and round eyes, and the same body figure, but Ahiko more developed.
"I was, but now I'm going to take a shower." Hari responded smiling as she tilted her head to her right. Ryu was looking at her very long and hard and it made her curious of course. But, she left something out. "I'm going to take a shower with you."
"Okay then." Ryu just took a deep breath, at this point arguing with his girls was useless. If Hari wanted to strip down and get in that tub, by all means she was going to. Well, he knew what Hari planned on doing and the reason she was following him, that just left Ahiko, he turned in her direction catching a hint of scarlet on her cheeks and her hands cupped together resting against her thighs. He didn't need to read her mind to know why she was coming with. "You're going to join too?" He figured he'd ask, no need to fluster her more than what she was.
"If it's okay with you." She murmured latching onto his arm.
"I don't see why not." Ryu replied, glancing at his side just as Hari latched onto his other arm. "But, showers aside." Ryu looked serious, which wasn't strange, but his eyes held a certain intensity. He enjoyed today, it was fun, but... He didn't feel it was appropriate. The squad could be out right now hunting down anyone, they were most likely out there. It seemed so flippant to do what they were doing instead of training. He had a feeling Minato felt the same way, maybe not just like him, but it was similar. "The fun and games are over." He put it bluntly short and sweet.
"But, Ryu-san!" Hari complained.
"He's right, Hari." Ahiko was going to have to side with him on this. It was a painful reminder and lesson that they weren't at the level they should have been at, what lied ahead could only be worse. They had to be ready. The reality of it all was grim, but there was no escaping it and she nor Ryu were going to run away from it. Hari wasn't there, she didn't witness the fight, she didn't fight alongside of them, thus she could never fully understand. To her it was just the Sekirei Plan, to Ryu this was a war, the line as drawn, and again she couldn't argue against his point. Revenge was in just order. "We've been lucky so far, there's quite a bit of Sekirei who have been terminated or deactivated since this whole thing began, we've been reminded as well. The gatherings need to be cut short and our training will take prominence!"
"But, why!?" Hari frowned. She didn't want to stop visiting the inn, she liked talking to Musubi and Kuruse, and playing with Kusano. She didn't want to stop going there just to train, they trained enough! She trained enough! She scowled deeply and let go of Ryu's arm and began walking towards her room. Ryu was going to say something, but Ahiko set a hand on his shoulder.
"Just leave her." Ahiko said a bit coldly, she was clearly annoyed. It wasn't a secret Hari didn't like fighting, she could fight she was a Physical combat oriented Sekirei and she had tremendous strength, physically speaking it was even greater than her own, much, much greater.
"I guess that'd be for the best." Hari could get emotional. Ryu just shook his head, but wasn't going to argue against the points Ahiko made. "I can understand why she doesn't want to accept it, but there's choice in the end. She doesn't have a choice."
"She'll realize the reality of it." Ahiko nodded in agreement. "But, she will never accept it. Hari will never accept it."
Toyotama turned on the TV. Uzume took the remote of course putting on 'World's Dumbest'. It was a hilarious show, Toyotama could admit that, she knew people could be stupid, but some of the things she seen on this show just made her shake her head. Just when she thought she'd seen it all, there she was baffled at the level of stupidity humans could and did sink to. Neither talked, but they did laugh, it wasn't awkward like it would have been a long time ago. But, that didn't stop Toyotama's thoughts, she wasn't sure where it came from, but it nagged and nagged, and finally she couldn't stay silent any longer. "Uzume-san..."
"What's up?" Uzume glanced at her in mild surprise. Toyotama using an honorific? This had to serious since she didn't use them really.
"That night we fought the Discipline Squad on the bridge, you weren't anywhere to be seen. I know I would have recognized that obscene battle outfit you call yourself wearing..." Toyotama stated oddly quiet, in fact Uzume had to turn the volume a few notches just to hear her right. Biting her bottom lip, Toyotama continued on with what she had to say. "You weren't there and everyone else was, Ryu is going to speak on it of course for obvious reasons, but I know he's wondering the same thing as I am, just where the hell were you?"
"I was doing something..." Uzume replied, not willing to divulge anything further. She didn't want to speak on the subject, not now, not ever. "Why are you asking me this?"
"Because you know honor means everything to Ryu." Toyotama stated bluntly, that wasn't a secret. "You weren't there fighting with us, with the others, with him... You were somewhere else, hiding... I don't know what the hell it is you were doing but I can only think of hiding what else would it be?" This was a rhetorical question. Toyotama wasn't stupid, even if she were in the heat of battle she would feel Uzume's presence. Uzume wasn't there. She left her hanging.
"You don't need to tell me that." Uzume shook her head. Of course honor meant everything to Ryu, he was very prideful in that sense and it showed. Like when he'd spar with Miya for four hours straight. She felt something bubble from her core, anger, frustration, irritation...? She wasn't sure, but she didn't like it, Toyotama was making claims and she didn't even know herself. Uzume was not there fighting with them, she was far from the fight, but she couldn't tell Toyotama or Ryu the secret she was keeping. She'd be betraying Karei's trust in her and she couldn't do that, but she couldn't keep lying and trying to play everything off. Toyotama wasn't stupid, Ahiko was perceptive, and Ryu could read her like a book. Maybe if she made a quip she'd make Toyotama mad enough to drop it. "I feel like my work was done, before we came along I'm sure you had one foot in the grave already, I saved your ass by pulling down that enormous cement black." Uzume smirked at her for good measure. "You're welcome, Toys."
Toyotama was oddly enough silent. She made no response to the jab, nor did she snap at Uzume for calling her Toys. She really hated that nickname. Toyotama sat staring at nothing in particular as if she were searching. She should let it go, she shouldn't be confronting Uzume instead she should be laughing with her and getting along like Ryu wanted, but she just couldn't shake this feeling. It pulled, it pushed, it nagged, it burned, overall it was just too much. Is this what people meant when they said they wanted clarity? "Uzume..." Toyotama paused, why was she even doing this? "...I've known you for my entire life, since we were children and before this damn thing even got started, I know you, and you know me... You're the one that gave me the nickname Toys! You're not telling me something... Not telling Ryu something..." She wasn't calling her a liar per say.
"We're all entitled to our secrets." Uzume stated rather bluntly. "I don't pry with you."
"Don't skate around it." Toyotama tried not to snap. Uzume was being oddly evasive about this subject. "Listen, I don't care if you don't tell me, I don't care if you hate my guts to be honest. But, keeping something from Ryu you know how bad that is and what it can lead to. I'll figure out or find out eventually and so will Ryu, but unlike him I'm not going to be irate because I heard from someone else's mouth and not yours. And, Ryu is going to find out one way or another believe me, he can see you've been acting strange."
"Oh, come on Toys." Uzume sighed raking a hand through her hair, this is why she preferred to sleep. "Is there a point to this, I'm trying to watch this show." Damn it, making her mad didn't work. Toyotama was composing herself and that showed just how serious she was about this, serious enough not to snap and storm off or start strangling her. She really wished it worked, why did it have to be this one time where she didn't get mad like usual? Even her last statement while it did make Toyotama's jaw clench and eyes narrow, she didn't get mad or hit her.
"There is a point to this," Toyotama grated out through her clenched teeth. She was really keeping herself together, normally if Uzume spoke this way to her she'd be gasping for air right now. That wasn't the case, she couldn't afford to give into her anger and strangle Uzume. It pained her to think their little flock would fall apart even more, they lost three already. It could happen, there was always a chance. "Whatever it is that you are doing you better finish it and soon, it's only a matter of time before Ryu finds out."
"..." Uzume was silent for a long moment, then stood up setting the remote down and sighed scratching the back of her head. "Jeez, Toyotama way to kill TV time." She quipped, choosing to play it off and left. ... This isn't good she's catching on, that means without a single doubt Matsu knows good and well it's me and Karei taking these Sekirei out and may even know Higa is forcing us to do it... She clenched her teeth. But, I can't... Chiho can't even defend herself, her life hangs on just not Karei's actions, but mine as well... She really wished she had a drink, or there was drink in the house. She opened the fridge scowling and just grabbed the juice, she would need to but a lot of sake later.
She poured herself a glass and sipped it, enjoying the taste. Juice was always good, if only she had some cookies to go with it. She stepped back towards the living room, she shouldn't have spoken to Toyotama that way, shouldn't have blown her off the way she did and evade the subject, but she couldn't even speak on it. If she did, and Higa somehow found out Chiho would be thrown onto the street. "Thank goodness." She muttered to herself, hearing several knocks sound from the front door. Not many people knew where they lived, and not many would show up knowing Ryu lived here, so it could only be two people. The first being Kazehana but she was back at the inn. The second... "Karei-chan! Man, am I happy to see you!" Uzume exclaimed, opening the door and looking over her best friend and sister. "Decided to change again, that's such a bummer."
"That things constricts me, Uzume-san." Karei said with a rather blank expression. She loved her outfit, but that was for battle not for lounging.
"Who is it!?" Toyotama called from the living room.
"Karei!" Uzume yelled back, getting no response.
Karei fumbled with her hands a bit, she may be a pervert and have little to no shame, but she knew it wasn't polite to show up to someone's house unannounced. It was one of the many things Takami drilled into her while she was undergoing her adjustments. She pursed her full lips, and cleared her throat softly. "I'm really happy to see you too, Uzume-chan." She managed a smile despite the prior event she endured. She blinked once glancing around the inside of the house. "You don't mind if I do you?
"Not at all." Uzume stepped aside.
"Thank you." Karei bowed slightly, though it was unnecessary to do so. This was Uzume. "Um, if you don't mind me asking is Ryu in? Or is he out somewhere? I don't want to be rude or anything..."
"He's taking a shower." Toyotama told her, making her presence known as she leaned against the wall. She hadn't seen Karei for quite a while. Toyotama held up her hand politely silencing Karei before she asked the next obvious question. "Ahiko and Hari are with him, if not they're in their rooms upstairs."
"Ummm, well that's..." Karei struggled.
"Come on Karei-chan." Uzume grabbed her by the arm pulling her along to the side, jabbing a thumb towards the living room. "We can go in here." She gave Toyotama a look, honestly she could have put it a bit differently. Karei could feel awkward as she was now. "Anyways all of that shower talk aside, what brings you to my little home?"
"Well..." Karei pursed her lips, Ichiya's and her prior conversation replaying in her mind. "I have a question to ask you."
"Oh?" Uzume looked curious.
"Well, wait until this episode is over." Toyotama interrupted their conversation, smirking when they both sent a scowl her way. She could care less what it was about, but she had been waiting for this particular episode to come on, who tries to pound an entire bottle of Tequila!? Kazehana could guzzle alcohol down, but she didn't thing even Kazehana could chug down an entire body of that. "Uzume, get me some juice."
"Why?" Uzume frowned at her. "You have two legs and two arms."
"Because I'm tempted to take a drink from your cup, but I don't know if I'm going to get that pervert quirk." Toyotama quipped. And, she didn't want to get up.
"I am not a pervert, that's Matsu-san." Uzume chuckled. "I'm just carefree to the T."
"Birds of a feather." Toyotama muttered, shaking her head.
"That's some irony, eh?" Karei asked.
