…..
I felt my soul being tugged towards Joja Mart. Only two presences could be felt from within those sterile, lifeless walls.
Wait, no…three. Is that cashier even still alive?
The cashier blinked as I flew past her towards the back corner of the store. Caroline was stomping along the furthest aisle while pushing a full cart in front of her. Morris was following along at her elbow, a self-satisfied grin plastered on his face. I landed on a shelf between two cans of yams and crawled to the edge to watch their conversation.
"So glad to see that you've come around to the Joja Mart lifestyle, Caroline. I knew Pierce's little shop couldn't be providing enough for a smart young woman such as yourself."
"It's 'Pierre', and he's a great provider. Your exorbitant prices have made it impossible to even stock all the things we need without taking a loss."
"Sounds like we're saying the same thing."
"You should be ashamed of yourself."
She took a box of breakfast cereal down from the shelf, skimmed the ingredients, then dropped it into her cart.
"Ashamed? Of providing the best possible life for my valued customers? Never."
"You know your produce is barely considered edible, right? Half of it isn't ripe yet, and the other half is rotten."
"And yet here you are."
She pushed her cart to the next aisle as Morris strode along beside her. I scrambled over the shelf to keep watching.
"I can't afford not to be."
"If your husband Percy's store-"
"Pierre."
"Right. If your husband Pathetic's store…"
He paused, grinning impudently at her as if daring her to respond. Her eyes flashed back at him, but her face remained composed. I sank my spiritual tendrils into her, merging our bodies and minds. Her anger rushed over me with such force that I had to take a step back.
"...was doing well enough, you would be able to afford your own worthless goods."
She knocked several cans of vegetables into her cart with her arm before stomping to the next set of shelves. A can of corn crashed to the floor, rolled to Morris, and bounced off his foot. He picked it up and inspected it for damage before setting it back on the shelf in the wrong spot.
"Ignoring me? That's not very polite. I can't imagine what having parents like you or your husband is doing to your poor daughter."
Caroline spun around to face him. The sharp sting of her palm connecting with his cheek was enough to wipe the taunt off his face for a moment, but it quickly returned. She let her hand fall. A bright, red flush remained on his skin.
"Don't you ever talk about my family again."
"Or what? You'll stop shopping here? I doubt it."
"You slimy, dirty little…"
"Don't you want a real man to take care of you? Someone who can actually provide what you need?"
"No!"
"That explains your husband, then."
Another flare of anger rose within her. Caroline drew her hand back again, readying for another slap. This time he was ready. He caught her arm as it flew towards him, then stepped into the opened space between them. She wrenched her arm away from him and planted her palm on his shoulder. He took another half step in, bringing their bodies flush together. Her hand was flattened between them. He gripped the shelf behind them with one hand and with the other one he caught her free wrist and held it at her side. Her pulse was already abnormally quick, and now it was racing.
"You pig. I should knock those ridiculous glasses right off your face."
"Why don't you try it?"
She struggled to free either of her hands, grunting with the effort. Neither one moved. Morris smirked at her.
"Just as I suspected. You and your husband are perfect for eachother, you're both weak in your own ways."
Caroline's whole body shook with rage and the overpowering need to shock Morris. The desire to wipe that shit-eating smirk off his face nearly overwhelmed my own senses, I could barely fathom what it would do to hers. A growl rose from within her, low and feral. She bared her teeth, pulled her head back as much as she could, and bit down on his shoulder. She bit hard, trying to make sure he felt it through the layers of his clothing. He froze, released her hand, and…
"Ah~!"
His body, still pressed against hers, froze in place. A bulge began to grow in his pants, pressing into her leg. He took a shaky step back, breathless.
"My apologies for that, dear customer. I was uh-caught unawares, you see-, I…"
Caroline grinned, teeth glinting sharply in the fluorescent lights. She followed him, bringing their bodies close again. She tugged his jacket open, pulled it off his shoulder, and brought her mouth near the spot she had just bitten. She paused, savoring the sound of his shallow, panting breaths before sinking her teeth into him again. The thin fabric of his shirt offered little protection. He whined as his body drooped towards hers. She stood back and licked her lips.
"Who's pathetic now?"
"I-uh…I…"
"Sit."
She placed her hands on his shoulders and tapped once. He sank to the ground slowly, settling with his legs out in front of him. She took a step over him, bringing her crotch to his eye level before slowly lowering herself to straddle his lap. Her strong legs curled beneath her, holding her weight just an inch above him. She held his gaze as she unbuttoned his shirt and exposed the skin at the base of his neck.
"Do you know what your precious store is worth to the people of this town?"
He shook his head silently.
"It's trash. It's worthless. Just like you."
He nodded as if in agreement while grabbing her hips and trying to pull her down further onto him.
"No, not yet. I want to make sure you understand how much you're missing out on."
She reached into her skirt, hand moving over herself in tiny, sharp flicks. Moisture began to spread beneath her fingers as she stared down at the transfixed man. She traced her fingers through the slickness.
"Open your mouth."
Morris did as he was bid, thick tongue lolling out of his parted lips. I felt Caroline's cringe of disgust as his hot breath met her skin in a cloud of lust. She brought her fingers out and offered them to him, and he sucked them into his mouth greedily. She allowed him to clean them with his tongue as she brought her teeth to graze against the pallid flesh of his shoulder. His whole body convulsed with pleasure as his eyes fluttered closed. She lowered herself onto him, rolling herself against his bulge. The layers of fabric between them were not enough to stop Morris's head from reeling back, his mouth falling open as his hips began to move against her. She braced herself in place on top of him, her hold on his shoulder sinking deeper and deeper.
"H-harder, please~."
He whimpered. She exhaled loudly, and I felt the satisfaction growing within her. She readjusted and bit down again, stopping just before breaking the skin. He thrust his hips up against her with growing desperation, his erratic movements growing more and more frenzied as he sought release. Caroline growled again as he began to shake. She released him and brought her forehead to rest against his. Their bodies moved together as he continued his frenzied humping.
"Aww, you poor, desperate thing. Look at you, writhing on the floor like a worm. For Yoba's sake, you're disgusting."
"Y-yes ma'am. I am."
"Are you enjoying yourself?"
"Yes~ah!"
He rolled against her again, his cock twitching in his pants.
"You're about to cum for me, aren't you?"
"Yes, please just give me one more second and-!"
Caroline lifted herself above his lap with her legs and slapped him again before standing up and readjusting her skirt.
"Nope. I'm going to go home and see my husband though, and he'll get to finish what we started here. Because he's actually worth something to me. Now, if you'll excuse me."
Morris collapsed onto the tile floor behind him, chest heaving. His cock strained against his slacks hard enough that it looked like it might burst through. His fingers began to massage the sore spot Caroline had left on his neck in time with his heartbeat. Caroline smiled mirthlessly as she stepped over him to her cart and started pushing it towards the exit. Morris called after her as she left:
"Just take the groceries and go, no need to pay this time. Tell the cashier it's signed off on by me. She'll listen if she wants to keep her job."
Caroline raised her hand in acknowledgment without looking back at the man. She approached the counter. The cashier closed her eyes, sighed, and said:
"Believe me, I heard enough."
Caroline grinned, selected a sucker off the counter, tucked the wrapper in her pocket, and left with the candy between her teeth.
