Chapter 11: Nothing Short of Perfect

Seth was panicking. He paced back and forth in his bedroom as he held his head trying to think. He'd been struggling trying to come up with a way to confess his feelings to Adam since the day before, but he had no idea where to start. His illusion self was sitting on his bed watching him walk back and forth.

"Maybe we can just ask Klaus to help us come up with ideas? He thrives on this kind of thing, plus I'm pretty sure he's known about our feelings for Adam for a while now."

Seth shakes his head quickly.

"I can't do that, my confession was hyped up in the last chapter, it'd be a cop out if I just use an idea I got from Klaus! Besides…I want to plan this myself. I want to show Adam how much he means to me on my own."

His illusion self smiles.

"Well, remember to think carefully, and breathe, and remain calm. We don't want you getting anxious and giving up before you try… or for it to end up like his birthday where Klaus bailed us out…. And…. if it means anything, I'm proud of you for making it this far."

His illusion disappears and Seth flops on the bed.

He thought of just doing what his heart was telling him to do. Which was to go up to the Lycanroc, and kiss him passionately, before telling him how much he loves him, and how badly he wants to shower him with affection and attention.

But if Adam didn't feel the same, he'd be eviscerated for sure. It's also likely to ruin their friendship, and make things awkward. Plus that's basically sexual harassment. Seth decides that he has plenty of time to do that after he confesses, should Adam reciprocate his feelings.

He thinks maybe he could surprise him somehow, maybe leave a balloon in a cake that explodes when Adam goes to cut it, and then just tell him he loves him after it goes off. He imagines Adam covered in icing and…presumably angry…

Yeah…that's probably not a good idea either… Plus it'd be breaking my promise.

He then thinks, maybe he could just ask to talk to him, and tell him how outstanding and cute he thinks he is, and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with him. How he loves him with all of his heart.

That doesn't sound so bad. But I want to do something more memorable for him. Something he'll be able to look back on and smile when he thinks about it.

He looks to the side and sighs, before he eyes the picture of him and Adam that they took during their trip to Alola. It was the very last one Adam took, when he gave him a surprise kiss on the cheek. It made him blush to remember, but the important part was that it was a gift from Adam, for his birthday a month ago. He had gotten it framed, and had also given him a card with a lovely note in it. It detailed how much Adam appreciated Seth for all he's done, and how happy he was being there with him, Klaus, and Howie. It warmed his heart, and he still read it on occasion.

Then it comes to him. He knows exactly what he should do. He can return the favor for Adam, by writing him a note, then doing something special for him alongside it. He quickly gets up and pulls some paper out of his desk and grabs a pen. Following his heart, he begins writing out his feelings on the note.

(The Next Morning)

Adam yawns as he treks downstairs for breakfast. He reaches the dining room and sits down at the table. A few minutes later, Howie brings out a silver platter and places it in front of him. Adam smiles.

"Morning Howie. Anything special on the menu today?"

Howie nods with a smile before walking back towards the kitchen.

"That depends on what you consider special. Enjoy your breakfast, Adam. And Good morning to you too."

Adam tilts his head to the side and raises a brow.

That's a weird response. I wonder what he means.

He lifts the platter up, to reveal some pancakes with Rawst berries on top, some whipped cream, and syrup drizzled on the pastries already. He goes to put the lid down, but his hand feels something odd on the side of it, making him turn it towards him. There's an envelope taped to the side of the lid, with his name on it.

Adam tears the envelope off of the lid and opens it. He takes a bite of his pancakes as he reads.

Dear Adam,

I'm sure you're expecting a game or some sort of prank from this letter, but I assure you, everything you're about to read is the truth, the whole truth. I was trying to find a way to convey my feelings to you, and found this the easiest way to put my thoughts together.

Since you've arrived, I had a feeling you were different from those who've come in and out of my life up until now. You laughed alongside me, you hardly showed annoyance when it came to my antics… unless I took things too far which is more than reasonable, and you always had a positive approach to me and treated me like I was just another person.

I always appreciated that about you, you know. And after all this time, I'm finally able to say that I've fallen for you.

Adam's jaw dropped as he read that portion. He put his fork down and held the letter with both hands as he continued reading.

Surely you just dropped your silverware in shock, but bear with me. I can't hold it in anymore. Being frank, you drive me up the wall. You have the most adorable and contagious laugh, your smile makes my chest thump vigorously, you have such a noble heart. You're also one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life, inside and out. Every moment where I was close to you shall go down in my memories as one of the happiest. You've been special to me for as long as I could remember, and I've been so afraid of rejection, that I put off telling you how I've felt for such a long time.

I was afraid before, that if you left, I'd never see you again. I was afraid that you wouldn't feel the same. I was afraid that you would make more friends at school, and forget about me, or fall in love with someone else. It made sense to me, who wouldn't want to be close to someone as amazing as you?

But I decided I'd be better off showing how I felt than hiding my feelings out of fear. Hence this letter.

Finally, despite everything I've already said, I won't say those special words. I'm sure you know what they are. I wish to tell them to you personally. If you wish to hear them, then meet me in the garden at 6 pm. I have already given Klaus a list of instructions to help you get ready.

Hopefully yours, Seth

Adam is almost brought to tears from the letter. He thinks that that's the sweetest thing he's ever read, and is genuinely touched. He had been holding onto his feelings for some time now, and debated whether or not he would be honest with Seth about them. Seth had been showing signs by being affectionate with him, clearly missing him when he left for school and making an effort to spend time with him every day. He didn't, however, want to convince himself that it meant the Fox shared his feelings.

But this changes things.

He finishes eating quickly, before getting up to find Klaus. As he searched, he recalled a moment where he spoke to Klaus about why Seth was so generous to him. It was after Seth had admitted to knowing he was falsely accused, and before the two of them had begun to grow closer after the pool incident. Adam inquired why he didn't simply make him act as a regular servant.

"Well, that was the plan at first. But he and I felt there was a different air about you. I'm sure you've learned by now that Master Seth didn't exactly have a normal childhood."

Yeah but what does that have to do with how nice he is to me?

Adam nodded, and listened as Klaus continued.

"He was often isolated from other children, including his own brother, by the Missus. To people of traditional and distinguished backgrounds, his playful nature was considered unsightly, distasteful, and improper. And it took no effort for her to voice the shame and embarrassment she felt as a result of his behavior. He was often hidden away in his room when they received visitors. He was eventually pulled out of school, and I was assigned to be his primary educator. Finally, as you've learned before, myself and Howard were the only servants in his employ before your arrival."

Adam felt a little guilty hearing how Seth was treated by his own mother.

I can see why he doesn't like being around her now.

"So, clearly he feels as though you're different from those who've entered his life up until now. It's my belief that he sees something special about you, which is why he feels the need to express that. You've committed a small act of kindness in his eyes. And such kindness ought to be returned, no?"

Adam looked down in thought. He had gained some understanding about Seth, and the idea of the Fox thinking there was something special about him felt sweet.

Adam felt a little shy thinking about it. It was the first time he felt his chest grow warm because of Seth. It wasn't love back then, but it did make him open up to Seth a little more. Then there was his birthday, which solidified what Klaus had told him, and was the moment he had developed a small crush. His cheeks turned red remembering it all.

He found the Drifblim doing his usual morning duty of spraying the flowers and berry plants around the house with water. He brightens up as Adam approaches.

"Ah! Mr. Stonehide, Good Morning!"

Adam smiles and looks to the side. His face was still red, and he suddenly found himself avoiding eye contact. He wasn't sure how to bring up the letter, or tell Klaus that he was accepting Seth's invite.

"Um, Morning Klaus, I uh…um…I was wondering if…"

Klaus, noticing the Lycan's sudden bashfulness, chuckled and put down the spray bottle.

"Hold that thought Mr. Stonehide. I have been instructed by Master Seth to inquire about your decision myself. Should you accept, I've been ordered to take you shopping for something nice to wear, and get you ready for tonight. As well as informing Howard to begin preparing your meal."

Adam nods, and sighs in relief.

Seth must have wanted to make sure things went as smoothly as possible … Speaking of…

"And where is Seth in all this? He wanted things to start at 6 pm right?"

Klaus nods.

"He will not be made aware of said decision until this evening, to show you that he'll accept what you decide no matter what choice you make. He'll know your answer then."

Adam smiles and begins walking to the foyer.

"Well then, I guess you and I should begin preparing right?"

Klaus beams and floats towards the kitchen.

"Wonderful! I'll reconvene with you in the foyer once I inform Howard to begin meal prepping."

A few minutes later, the two of them meet in the foyer and make their way to the car.

Adam can hardly contain his excitement. He looks over at Klaus, who starts the engine.

"So Klaus, got any plans for my outfit?"

Klaus begins driving, and smiles in response.

"Worry not Mr. Stonehide. I know Master Seth's tastes, I can assure you, you will leave him speechless. As long as you trust me, that is."

Adam smiles, and looks ahead.

"I'd be a fool not to, Klaus."

(12:30 pm)

Seth is pacing back and forth in his room. His heart has been beating quickly ever since Howie locked his door just like he requested. He had no way to leave until 5:50 pm, when Howie would return to let him out so he could wait in the yard to find out if Adam accepted his invitation. He already spent the entire morning setting up decorations and the like in the garden. He was meant to set things up later in the day, but he couldn't help himself. So now he had to wait.

He had every intention of showing Adam how much he loved him, and planned a spectacular night for the both of them if he showed up.

If he shows up…

Seth shakes himself out of that headspace immediately. He spent far too long embracing self doubt and a fear of rejection, he refused to succumb to those emotions again. Especially not when he's come so far already.

No, he would accept the reality of what happens no matter what. Whether Adam returns his feelings or not, he'd move forward.

He looks into his garden through the window before flopping on his bed.

Why the hell did I make it six in the evening? The anticipation is killing me. Does it normally suck this much?

He thinks that it's been a while since he had to occupy himself. Whenever Adam had gone to school he played video games or used one of the courtyards with his illusion self, but he's going to be stuck in his room until the evening.

He casts his illusion, making another version of himself appear once more.

"Really? You made me appear because you're bored again? Isn't there something a little crazy about being your own company?"

Seth chuckles and rubs the back of his head.

"Well I still have six hours before I have to go downstairs. Any ideas of what we could do?"

His illusion self shrugs, before making some cards appear.

"Idk, wanna play Blackjack?"

Seth nods.

"Sure. You deal first."

His illusion self begins to shuffle the cards, before looking up at him.

"There's actually something I think we should address."

Seth watches as his illusion masterfully shuffles the cards before dealing them both one card.

"Hm? And what's that?"

The illusion deals another card for Seth, and places a card in front of him face up.

"What's going to happen if Adam rejects us? What are we going to do?"

Seth picks up his cards, he has a 5, and a 7.

"Hit me. I haven't thought about it, and if he does…So what? What am I gonna do, make him leave? I wanted to do this in a way that wouldn't ruin our friendship, but also give us a chance. If he chooses to leave on his own…I'll just…I'll have to deal with it. I decided I'd support his decisions no matter what happened."

His illusion deals him another card, before dealing himself a card.

"And what about our family? How will they react? There are several reasons for them not to accept this relationship, what if they try to stop you?"

Seth picks the card up, it's a 3.

"Hit me. In an ideal situation my family wouldn't care and would accept him. But even if they don't, I'll still stay by his side no matter what."

His illusion deals him another card, before again, dealing himself a card.

"Shit. Busted. It's likely they'll cut you off. What if-"

"I said no matter what. As long as Adam is in my life, I don't care what my family thinks. I've made up my mind to do this. Whatever happens afterwards, we can deal with it accordingly."

He picks up his card, it's a 6.

"Blackjack. I win."

His illusion drops the cards and sighs.

"I never was good at this game. Oh well…. I'm glad you've made up your mind. Let's move on. Your deal."

Seth smiled as he picked up the cards and began shuffling. These talks with himself often brought about new revelations, with him often making his illusion self represent the opposition so he can formulate different conclusions. Usually his illusion would make him reconsider his way of thinking, but not this time. Sure his family would make things complicated, but he didn't care. Adam gave him the confidence to do anything, even face his family. He would stand up for their relationship should he need to. Hell he would even stand against the world. Anything for his Lycanroc.

(5:55 pm)

Seth felt levels of anxiety he's never experienced before, waiting for 6 pm. He'd managed to keep busy all day, but with so little time left, five minutes was starting to feel like five hours.

This is it. Adam and Klaus are either gonna walk through that door or I'm going to be eating dinner alone… Either way, I'll have my answer. Only five minutes left.

He had styled his hair a bit to extenuate the curls on the end, and put on a black button up with jeans to contrast his white fur. Klaus had also given him a bowtie to put on. All that was left was for him to wait.

He sat patiently at the table by the lotus pond, the location he chose for their dinner, before their actual date started.

He looked at his watch. There was only a minute left. He felt his heart beating faster as the time drew nearer. He was feeling a wild mixture of emotions. Preparing for either excitement or disappointment, feeling both joy and fear, he felt like he could throw up.

Suddenly, time came to a stop as he heard the side gate open. His heart felt like it was beating a hundred times a second as he watched the Lycanroc of his dreams walk through the garden, Klaus floating behind him. He was wearing a pale white shirt with some teal pants, the complete contrast of the color of his fur. He had also gotten his hair styled, it slightly curved upwards, almost matching his own mane, and he had a teal necklace on, matching his pants.

Seth tried his hardest to fight the smile attempting to grow on his face. As Adam walked up to the table, he covered his mouth with a paw, trying to hide his face and the massive blush from the outstanding job Klaus did of making the Lycan look as amazing as possible.

The Drifblim floated behind them as Adam took a seat at the table.

"Master Seth, your guest has arrived. I shall inform Howard, and have him begin serving your dinner."

Klaus floats away, leaving the two of them alone for a moment. Seth suddenly felt shy, and didn't know what to say. Adam chuckled and leaned on a paw.

"You know it's not like you to be so quiet hehe. Something wrong?"

Seth chuckled and turned red. He spent so long thinking about what they would do that night that he didn't think about what he would say to Adam if he actually did decide to show up.

"No no, I just …. I didn't think about what I'd say when this moment finally arrived, and you look outstanding, so much so that I was at a loss for words."

It was Adam's turn to blush, he turned his head to the side, and smiled.

"Th-thanks. I think you look handsome too. And you chose the best place for this. Right next to the Lotus Pond. You really pulled out all the stops."

Adam looked around a little. There were lights strung up all around them throughout the hedges and the plants, there were rainbow lights glowing in the Lotus Pond next to them, and he noticed the pond looked a little cleaner than usual.

He must have been doing all this while I was getting ready… Awe.

Seth nodded, and leaned forward a little, trying to show that Adam had his undivided attention.

"Of course! I wanted to make sure everything was special tonight. I wanted you to know how special you are to me."

Seth smiles earnestly, and Adam turns redder.

"I'll say, I wasn't expecting you to be so forward when I accepted your invitation. That's not a bad thing! I…I like it."

Seth laughs a little and leans back in his chair a little. From behind Adam, he sees Howie pulling a cart with platters on it towards them.

"Well, I'll say this then, I think it's cute when you blush. Your face always turns the same color as your fur. I've always found it adorable."

Adam feels even shyer. He's always been the type to like compliments, but clam up when he receives them. Seth wasn't very expressive when it came to his own thoughts, at least not toward Adam. The only time he remembers hearing about how Seth felt about him, was on the videotape Klaus gave him for his birthday. He liked this side of Seth.

He sits silently as Howie pulls the cart with their dinner on it next to the table. He places two glasses on the table, and pours them some wine as he explains their choices from what he brought.

"Here you are. A complete meal, consisting of fresh Krabby cakes, made from feral Krabby and imported from the human world, classic sides, caesar salad, some roast chicken, and Shrimp Alfredo. Klaus also told me to use his Kalosian Wine, Grepa. Enjoy."

Seth snickers a little.

"You wouldn't think it was his first time serving a table like this would you?"

Howie laughs alongside him, which made Adam smile.

"Quiet you. I'm only doing this because it's your special night. I'm happy for both of you, of course I'm gonna do my best on a night like this. Especially since I called it from the first time I met Adam."

Adam smiles, as he points at the choices while Howie makes his plate.

"Oh? I recall you saying someone like me would be a perfect match for your boss. Is that what you mean?"

Howie finishes making Adam's plate and turns to make Seth's.

"Yup. Someone like you, who seemed a little girly but was tough as nails. Someone with an unlimited amount of patience, who's willing to make difficult situations work, and still keep a smile on their face through it all."

Adam tilts his head in confusion at the Sneasel.

"How did you manage to get all that by the time we first spoke?"

Howie snickered.

"Well, it was more of a guess. But given your situation, as someone who was arrested and was being forced to do housework as part of his community service, you didn't seem to be as grumpy or distant as you should've been. On top of already being pranked frequently, I knew there was something special about you. And now look at you guys, on your first date."

He pulls out a camera, and takes a picture. The two turn completely red, and Seth covers his eyes from the flash.

"H-Howie! A little warning next time!"

He starts to walk away while smiling.

"Sorry fellas. If I did it would've been awkward. I made sure I got genuine smiles from both of you, and a good angle. Perfect for the photo album."

He walks inside, leaving the two Pokemon to enjoy their meal. Seth squints at the Sneasel as he leaves, before turning to Adam with a sheepish smile.

"Sorry about him, he was always the one who urged me to be more social and such. He was happy when I finally hired more servants, he thought it was my chance to make some friends and have a social life at home, but… well, you know how that went hehe. But that's enough of that, let's enjoy our food."

The two share a meal, talking about what they did before the time came for them to meet for the night. Seth was glad Adam enjoyed his company in general, everything he planned was meant to take place after they ate. He would've felt awkward if they sat in silence the entire time.

Once they finished, the two of them took their drinks with them, and sat at the edge of the lotus pond. Adam leans on Seth's shoulder as he watches the lily pads float on the calm water.

"Alright, knowing you, you usually have something extravagant up your sleeve. What are you hiding? Hehe."

Seth smiles and rubs Adam's shoulder.

"Me? Extravagant? I don't know what you mean."

Suddenly, the red portions of Seth's fur begin to glow, before the energy converges into his paw, and he lifts it up. The energy floats towards the pond, before flying upward and exploding, creating a makeshift firework. Seth waves his paw, and similar balls of light fly into the sky, creating the same effect.

"I think fireworks are nice and simple."

Adam stares up into the sky silently. Among the things he never got to experience growing up, fireworks was one of them. He wasn't going to say something cheesy, like how he secretly always wanted to see them, but he was amazed that Seth unknowingly gave him his first experience. Things continued to get better, however, as the lights exploded in the sky, the light residue fell down in front of them, and hovered over the Lotus Pond. Seth snapped his fingers, and the lights dimmed around them, making it so the only major light source came from the subtle glow of the lights reflecting off of the pond.

Seth stands up, making Adam look up at him.

"You know Adam, there's one thing that I've come to realize about you. Many people would hear my story and think, "Seth. The way you act is the problem, you need to change. You can't blame everyone else for not wanting to put up with it." And they'd be right. But I always wondered why. Why is it that I had to change who I am for everyone else? Why should I have to sacrifice who I am in order to make those who never cared about who I was in the first place happy? I felt that way for a long time…until you showed up. You're one of the few people who told me they wanted me to be myself. The only person who's ever done that… was my father. You, however, took it a step further, and let me know when I was taking things too far, but still wanted me to be myself. You wanted things to remain civil between us."

Seth looks down at Adam with a genuine smile.

"You may not have thought so at the time, but that meant a lot to me. It made me feel something for you that I've never felt for anyone before, and it took me a long time to understand what exactly that feeling was. I went through a lot of mental trials and hurdles trying to figure out why my heart was doing backflips in my chest whenever you smiled, and why I wanted you to stay here with me so badly."

Adam stands up, and Seth holds his paws. He rubs his nose against Adam's, still smiling. Adam's eyes were glossed over, and the light from Seth's surrounding illusions made them look brighter than they usually were.

"And once I knew how I felt, the fear that you would reject me, and leave me forever, prevented me from being honest about my feelings with you. But now….now that we've reached this moment….I can finally say, I love you, with every fiber of my being…Adam."

Seth's speech had stoked the flames of passion Adam was already feeling in his chest. It created a wildfire, the warm feeling enveloping him.

"So, will you stay with me? And let me cherish you, and give you my all?"

Adam felt his heart beating rapidly. He couldn't find it in himself to speak just yet. Instead, he leaned forward and pressed his lips against the Zoroark's. Seth's eyes widened, and as the two shared their first kiss, the surrounding lights grew brighter, before eventually dissipating completely.

Seth eventually closed his eyes and let himself enjoy their first romantic embrace. He tentatively placed his paws on the Lycan's sides, holding him closer. When their lips parted, Seth looked away with a blush, and a smile that wouldn't leave his face. Adam giggled, and rested his head on Seth's shoulder.

"Of course~. I wouldn't have it any other way. I…I love you too."

The Zoroark's face had gone completely red. Just when he thought he would be the one taking the lead when it came to the romance that night, Adam threw him off completely, something the Lycanroc had a talent for.

"You're always full of surprises. I-I wasn't expecting you to do that… I kinda lost my train of thought…"

Adam smiled and looked up at the shy Zoroark.

"Well, expect plenty more. And you know, I think it's cute when you blush too."

Adam gives Seth a soft kiss on the lips before walking forward.

"Now what did you have planned next?"

Seth only stared as his new boyfriend walked ahead of him. He felt his chest warm up more than it already has thinking about it.

That's right, Adam did just agree to be my boyfriend…

He felt a smile growing on his face again. Every inch of his body felt like it was floating, floating slowly before taking off into the sky like a rocket and exploding in a cloud of pure happiness.

He felt the urge to hold the Lycanroc, and decided to do so. He surprised him by running up behind him and picking him up and squeezing him lovingly. Adam laughed and held the Zoroark's arms. Seth turned him around so he was facing him, and Adam looked down at him with a smirk.

"So, was this a part of your plan?"

Seth smiled and looked to the side.

"I don't remember, this is just what I felt like doing. Most of my plans involved my illusions, and having us watch a movie before bed, but honestly I could just do this all night and be fine."

Adam laughed, Seth's spontaneity was something that kept him on his toes, which he enjoyed. There was never a dull moment, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

"Heh, well, how about we take a moment to talk about some things then? Like… we're dating now right? I just wanted to settle some things before it was too late."

Seth raises a brow and puts the Lycanroc down.

"Oh? Like wha-"

"No going overboard with gifts every single day."

Seth feigned hurt and clutched his chest while falling to his knees.

"Wha- That's not fair! I already struggled doing that before and now I still can't? Adaaaaaaaam!"

Adam ruffles Seth's hair, and holds his cheek.

"Being honest, my room is a bit cluttered already. If you wanna give me small little gifts I'm fine with that, but I don't want a barrage of gifts every day haha."

Seth looks to the side, he may have feigned being really hurt but he was slightly disappointed.

"But how am I supposed to show you much I care about you if I can't give you the world?"

Adam felt his heart flutter a little. He held Seth's cheek and smiled.

"I don't need the world, silly. I'm just fine having you be in it. How about this, you can give me little gifts whenever you want and you can go all out on holidays and special occasions. Is that fair?"

Seth nods, before an idea comes to him.

"Yes I can accept that. But as a compromise I want-...I…"

Adam tilted his head to the side, curious. Suddenly Seth became shy once more, and was fumbling his words. The Zoroark had turned his head to the side with red cheeks for the second time. He stood up and held his arm.

"Hm? What is it?"

Seth's ears flattened like he was about to get in trouble.

"I want….you to come stay in my room. For it to be our room…"

Adam felt his face become warm at the thought. Normally sharing a room would come later in a relationship, but the two of them had already been living together for over a year now, and had fallen asleep together on multiple occasions.

Seth notices Adam turning red, but still not responding, and grows worried.

"I don't mean for any weird reason! I promise. It's just…ever since our vacation a while ago, and during the few times we fell asleep together, it felt so nice to have you in my arms that…I end up missing the feeling when I go to bed alone… and also my room as a lot more space that goes unused, so some of your stuff can be moved, and all of your school stuff can stay in your room for when you need to work-"

Adam puts a claw over Seth's mouth, and smiles.

"It's alright, I understand. Don't worry I didn't think you meant anything by it, I was just a little surprised is all. I'll be more than happy to accept that compromise."

Seth felt giddy all of a sudden.

"Is there anything else you wanted?"

Adam nods, and takes a seat in the grass nearby, and Seth closely follows.

"Well, I actually thought about it a while ago, but you've never been on a date before have you?"

Seth shakes his head 'no' while making a straight face. Adam chuckles.

"Don't worry I wasn't asking to make fun of you. I've never been on a planned vacation either. So, how about I plan the dates, and you plan the vacations? Dates are meant to be simple outings, just time to do something fun with just the two of us. Got it?"

Seth leans back on his paws.

"Yup, that's fair. I'll leave the date planning to you. I'll make sure every vacation is something new and fun."

Adam leans on Seth's shoulder.

"Perfect. The last thing, before we go back inside, I don't want Klaus or Howie to call me boss or Master Adam. Since I've worked with them for so long, it'd be weird if they suddenly treated me like a master of the house, or if Klaus suddenly took over my chores. I kinda want things to be how they were before."

Seth smirks, and leans toward Adam, and playfully whispers in his ear.

"So what I'm hearing is that you want to maintain our master servant relationship, hm?"

Adam blushes and playfully pushes the laughing Zoroark away.

"N-no! I-I just don't want them calling me sir or Master all of a sudden!"

Adam stands up, and Seth quickly hugs him from behind with a smile.

"You're still a terrible liar Adam. You know I still have the maid outfit, haha."

Adam turns even redder and pushes him away once more, and starts walking to the front door.

"What?! I- Shut up I'm going inside I'm tired!"

Seth laughs more, and follows him inside. He continues to tease the Lycanroc as they walk to their room, before going to bed together purposely for the first time.

He couldn't help but smile as he laid there, things couldn't have gone better. He started the day with nothing but shaken nerves and an anxious feeling, and ended it with a partner. Someone who loved him as much as he loved them, if not more. Someone he could wrap his arms around as he slept, and could rest his chin on as he pulled them close to him. Someone he could tease and make them red all over, and someone he could shower with his love and affection, and have those feelings returned.

A Lycanroc named Adam, who was nothing short of perfect.

(End)

Don't worry the story isn't actually over haha, expect just a bit more, but the "main" story is technically over. So thanks to everyone who's kept up with it so far, and I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much I did writing it. Thanks! - LF
