Feeling Empty

*Goku's POV*

Goku looks at her with eyes wide open. He just sits there as Chi Chi slowly goes from misty eyes to a soft sob. His eyes slowly start to follow her lead with tears starting to slowly form from the edges of his eyes.

Goku:"I... I... but... Chi Chi.."

Chi Chi:"Goku.. you can't understand how I feel.. I have been feeling this for a long while now.."

Goku:"Then Chi Chi please! I need to understand, we've been great I don't know why you feel this way.."

Chi Chi: "Dammit Goku! You're the one that has been feeling great! All you know is how to fight this and fight that, or when is the best time to eat in-between fights!"

Goku suddenly feels a sharp pain like feeling enter his heart, 'Has she really felt this way the whole time? Why did she never say anything? I don't understand.. i've done everything i know how to do for her..' Chi Chi's eyes are starting to show a little sign of anger between the hard sobbing, the way she looks at him is like how someone would if they were just betrayed. Goku can't wrap his mind around how this is happening, he never even felt this energy from her. 'Was she hiding it this whole time?' He continued to think to himself on how to handle this when Chi Chi chimes in again.

Chi Chi: "Goku! Don't just stand there and stare at me! Say something! Anything!"

Goku just looks at Chi Chi for a moment and thinks about his next words but all that follow is...

Goku: "Why..?"

Chi Chi looks down with a scoff, but also with a deep breath in and out.

Chi Chi: "Goku... you are never here.. you're never here when i need you to do work or to bring in money. You're never here to watch your own damn kids grow up. You're never here to raise then unless it has to deal with training or taking them off to get killed by some space emperor... y-you..." a little hic in her voice starts to break through as the tears start to stream down her face and at this point she can't even look at Goku. "You were never her for me.. when I had my hard times or whenever i needed a shoulder to cry on when I was alone.. I married the fighter you were and thought that you would settle down with me and here I am, settled down and you going out like when we were still kids.. Goku... you were never here when I needed you..."

Goku: "I-I... Chi Chi.." Goku reaches his hand out to her to try and consul her but its met with a slap away.

Chi Chi: "No Goku!! Im tired of everyone else being able to rely on my OWN husband.. im tired of never knowing if the next time you leave this house if it'll be the last time I see you.. I-im... im tired of you Goku.. please.. don't make this any harder then it already is for me.."

Goku: "I-I.. Chi.." Goku just looks down with immense feelings churning inside of him but mostly of regret. He never knew she felt this way. He simply look up at her and nods. Out of all the battles he has gone through Goku never knew that this one would cause the most damage to himself.

Chi Chi: "G-good.. i'll have Gohan come tomorrow and drop of some of your things at you Grandfathers house so you know where to find it..." She looks away for a moment and walks over to him only inches away from him, and give him a hug. "Goku, I still love you.. and I always will.. I will always still be your friend.. but our journey has ended. So please." She say while looking up at him. "Just take care of yourself.."

They both just hold each-other in the middle of the Living room for a few moments. Tears streaming down both of their faces. Emotions, feelings, and Pain swirling inside of Goku. The hug ends and Chi Chi separates from Goku and turns away from him, slowly making her way to her bedroom. Goku just watches her until she closes the door. Right there.. thats when everything finally hits Goku. All the emotions, all the pain and all he can do is to try and stop the tears from leaving his eyes. Goku makes his way outside of the house. He looks around for a moment to figure out where to go.. he looks over in the direction of a familiar spot. Then he takes off, leaving his old life behind, to start a new one. Alone...

*Caulifla's POV*

Caulifla is in her room in a little house just outside of her gangs hideout. She is in her room going through her two Super Saiyan forms while wearing as little clothing as possible. [Yep. Thats right. She's checking her self out in the Mirror... im not sorry. Now back to it] She keeps flicking back and forth from 1 and 2 like a light switch. She begins thinking to herself, 'Man.. do I look good in yellow or what!? This power is amazing, I had no idea that this power existed and still wouldn't have if it wasn't for Cabba coming back and showing Me and Kale this new energy that he learn from that first tournament.' She flex's in the mirror for a moment and stops, reverting back to base form. 'This power is great.. but that guy.. Goku.. his power was AWESOME!!! I need me some of that right there.' As she is still thinking a solid two knocks followed by the door Opening breaks her from her self made trance.

Caulifla: "WAIT NO! DON'T COM-"

she is cut off as Kale enters the room

Kale: "So Cabba was looking for yo-"

They both stare at one another for a solid second as Kale just eyes Caulifla up and down. In and instant both of their faces turn bright red as Caulifla jumps and trys to cover herself with a blanket and Kale turns around covering her eyes.

Caulifla: "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK KALE!?"

Kale: "im so sorry!! It was quiet so I thought you were reading or just relaxing!!!"

Caulifla: "Kale!!! When have you ever seen me read??? What do you think I am some nerd!?"

Kale: "N-no... im sorry.."

Caulifla just scoffs and puts her clothes back on and turns Kale back around.

Caulifla: "I guess its okay.. just don't do it again. What was so important anyway?"

Kale: "O-oh! Yeah.. I forgot.. umm Cabba said he might know how to get that training you were looking for.."

Caulifla: "AND YOU'RE JUST TELLING ME NOW!? Well come on! Lets go find that runt!" She screams as she grabs Kale ushering her out the door intending to follow.

The pair travel over to a small hut next to a river when Caulifla see's Cabba heading outside of the hut to the water. They quickly make their way over to Cabba's location and once they arrive they land but Caulifla lands a-lot closer to Cabba with a heavier impact on the ground.

Cabba: "OH KAMI!!" Cabba looks up only to see Caulifla with a mischievous smirk on her face. "Huh..? Oh Kami Caulifla really? You didn't need to scare the soul out of my body ya' know.."

Caulifla: "Oh but dear Cabba.. where would the fun in that be?" She says with a chuckle

Cabba: "Right.. I take it Kale told you what I told her."

Caulifla: "You bet she did! Why in kami's name didn't you tell me you had a way to get stronger sooner?" She says with her fist ready to pummle his head

Cabba: "Woah woah relax Cauli! I just got the invitation from Vados!!!" He braces his head for a strike

Caulifla: "Vados? You mean that blue lady that was with that fat cat Champ?"

Kale: "Yeah! She's his assistant and she said she was willing to take us to Universe 7 to get stronger in case there was another tournament"

Caulifla: "Well why didn't you say so sooner! Lets go!" She says with her fist in the air

Cabba: "Well she said we'd have to wait her for her and she'd get us when it was time to head over to Universe 7"

Caulifla's excited demeanor swiftly turns to annoyance as she just sits on the ground like a child who just got their favorite toy taken away.

Caulifla: "Uggghh... fine.. I guess we'll just wait here then.." she looks over at Cabba "You're gonna help me train then!!!"

Cabba just simply gulps

*Goku's POV*

Goku eventually sets down at Rocky Noon after flying for a long while. He looks around him as he remembers the time he first met Vegeta and where his friends stood their ground against him. He thinks back to himself. 'Oh god.. i wasn't even there for them..' He a few stones and begins to skip them across the ground. He begins to think about all the times he hasn't been there for someone. All the times he had been missing or somewhere else when his friends and family needed him most. All this feelings start to create a different feeling within himself. Anger. 'I could have been there.. i could have been there when everyone needed me the most..' he begins to think about the time he left Gohan to fight Cell. His own son.. he could have died then and there but he put him in harms way none the less. All the thoughts of what I could have done and what I should have done starting wearing done on him as that anger inside him starts to bubble down deep. Goku hadn't thought about the repercussions of his actions because he'd always focused on the fight. He thought to himself that he thought he was doing the right thing and if he paid more attention to the people around him Chi Chi wouldn't have left him. While he is thinking he feels a familiar energy start to approach he looks around for a moment and then locks in on where its coming from and right then someone lands right in-front of him. As the dust clears he waves the dust away coughing and looks up to see Vegeta.

Vegeta: "What are you doing out here Kakarot?"

Goku: "I don't know... thinking i guess."

Vegeta just looks him up and down and feels an energy coming off of him that feels strange

Vegeta: "Well.. Bulma wanted me to come check on you to see how you were. Now that your fine i'll be leaving."

Vegeta starts walking away ask Goku speaks and stops him.

Goku: "Vegeta have i been a good friend to you?"

Vegeta just turns to look at him with one eyebrow raised

Vegeta: "Tch.. Kakarot we are not friends we are merely acquaintances and rivals."

Goku just looks down and Vegeta turns his head with a scoff, but then Vegeta hears an unfamiliar sound come from Goku. He turns to look at Goku just to see him sobbing into his Gi. Vegeta's eyes widen for a moment and steps a little forward.

Vegeta: "Oh stop the waterworks Kakarot you are a warrior not some Premadonna okay? So cut it out!"

Right as Vegeta says this that energy he felt begins to grow and he takes a step back it felt strange but it felt like the energy was coming from a place he never felt Goku's energy be at place. He stops thinking when Goku's energy just drops suddenly and his crying stops. Vegeta starts to feel worry for a moment when he notices Goku's muscles start to twitch Vegeta pulls out a little communicator with a little camera on to top. He turns it on and puts it in his ear and Bulma comes through the communicator.

Bulma: "Hey Vegeta I was starting to think you'd never call. You find Go-"

Vegeta: "Quiet woman! Something is wrong with Kakarot I require.." he growls for a moment "I require your aid in this endeavor." Vegeta turns the little camera on and Bulma patches in to see what Vegeta see's.

Bulma: "Oh good you found Goku how is he-" she is cut off when the camera picks up strange energy levels coming from Goku. "What the hell? Is he okay Vegeta?"

Vegeta: "My father told me about such things that would happen to Saiyans when too many emotions flowed through a soldier. When they all build up it causes the Saiyan to snap for a moment and they lose sight of what going on around them."

Bulma: "Well that doesn't sound good? What do we do?"

Vegeta tightens his fists and gets in a defensive stance

Vegeta: "We put him down"

Bulma: "Oh my Kami you can't kill him Vegeta he's our friend and he-"

Vegeta: "I MEAN KNOCK HIM OUT WOMAN!"

Bulma: "oh.. right.. i knew that."

Vegeta stands ready as both him and Bulma watch Goku as his muscles start to twich and the energy starts to release outside of him with electricity crackling around him scorching small plots of dirt and rocks around him. His aura starts to appear from a light white color slowly fading into translucent black with a red outline. Goku stands up but with his head still down and his muscles continue to twitch but also tighten as if the electricity was flowing through his muscles and outside of his extremities. Goku looks up at Vegeta and Vegeta feels the energy flow through him, to Vegeta its suffocating the power coming from Goku is immense thats when he looks into Goku's eyes they look lifeless like Goku was no longer in control and steering his own body.

Vegeta: "Kakarot are you still in ther-"

Vegeta is immediately cut off as Goku within a blink of an eye had bolted from his position and clocked Vegeta in the jaw launching him backwards into a collection of standing rocks. Vegeta breaks from the rubble spitting blood onto the floor.

Bulma: "Vegeta! Are you okay? Talk to me!"

Vegeta: "Im okay but now im pissed."

Bulma: "Vegeta don't hurt him.. he's already going through so much."

Vegeta: "WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON!?"

Bulma: "VEGETA!!!"

Vegeta: "Tch! Fine.. but no promises."

Vegeta starts scanning for Goku but doesn't see him but just then when he feels for his energy he jolts his head up as Goku had already fired Ki-Blasts in his direction. Vegeta jumps out of the way of the explosion getting cut up from the debris of rocks being flung his way. Vegeta skids across the grounds eventually diggin his feet into ground slowing him into a stop. He stands up as he throws Ki-Blasts back at Goku but he simply vanishes before they can even reach him when suddenly Goku appears on his right launching a kick into his gut which causes Vegeta to feel like he's puke. He gets launched away before he looks at Goku and starts to power up with a good roar from Vegeta a golden glow emanates from his body as his hair turns to a golden yellow. Vegeta then launches towards Goku launching a series of attacks which Goku is just simply taking with very little reaction. Vegeta continues to throw punch after punch as he can feel his gloves start to wear and within an instant a fist comes flying from his flurry of blows with connects to his ribs launching Vegeta away with him tossing around the ground. He eventually stops rolling and sits up with his hand still on the ground while the other holds his chest.

Bulma: "Your headset is detecting multiple fractures Vegeta!!"

Vegeta: "Yeah.. i can detect them too.."

He stands up holding his side prepping his other hand for another attack. Goku starts to get into a charging stance and he starts powering up roaring into the sky with the sky turning dark and lightning striking in the area Goku's hair gets spikier but stays black. Vegeta looks at him in confusion as he feels the energy coming off of him feel like Super Saiyan 2 but without the golden energy that wrapped his body. It was like Goku was negatively affection the Super form with the power bubbling up within himself. 'I've got to put a stop to Kakarot before he sends this place into oblivion. Who knows what he will unleash if he is allowed to keep gaining power.' Vegeta thought to himself as he watched Goku stop powering up. Goku's translucent black was now starting to get darker as his eyes stayed soulless as if whoever was piloting the body was bent on destruction. Goku launches towards Vegeta throwing punch after punch with Vegeta blocking and returning a punch with every strike. With each strike that was blocked another one was received. With Goku in this state it was an equal match as Vegeta punches Goku in the gut, causing his to cough up spit and launching him into a plateau. Vegeta holds him beaten up body in pain as his readies back up when Bulma chimes in on the communicator.

Bulma: "Vegeta im coming down there to help, Goku needs to see his friends he needs to know we are still her for him."

Vegeta: "WHAT!? NO!! BULMA YOU NEED TO STA-"

Vegeta gets interrupted when a Ki-blast hits him directly in the side of the head sending him plummeting into a rock. Vegeta wakes up in a daze when he goes for his communicator he feels that it was just evaporated. He gets up and screams in anger. His hair starting to get sharper with electricity emanating around him and with this swift change he goes farther beyond with him screaming into the air with even more energy pounding from within himself as a fiery red aura wraps around him like a forest fire. His hair turning into a deep red and his eyes opening with his iris's colored like hell itself had been let loose with a bright red. As Vegeta goes Super Saiyan God, Goku rushes towards him throwing a punch that is immediately stopped with Vegeta practically crushing Goku's hand.

Vegeta: "This is where I put you down Kakarot."

Vegeta pulls his arm back and propels it forward with the speed of a super sonic missile and it connects with Gokus's face launching him into the ground with enough force to shatter diamond. Goku hits the ground and bounces into a rock wall shattering its surface. Goku begins to pry himself off the wall when Vegeta rushes in and begins to pummel Goku even further into the wall. Punch after punch Vegeta even starts to feel his hands start to cramp with how much power he is putting into his punches. With Goku getting pushed into the rock Vegeta stops suddenly when he feels the energy coming off Goku starts to build even more. Vegeta starts to have sweat bead down his forehead as he continues to lay into Goku before he has the chance to gain more power with Vegeta even throwing a few Ki-Blasts in between punches.

Vegeta: "WHY... THE HELL... WON'T YOU GO DOWN!!"

Vegeta pulls his fist back as a burst of energy rockets him back. He quickly and firmly plants his boots into the ground slowing his speed and eventually stops. Vegeta looks over to Goku who emerges from the rubble emanating that black energy but Goku looks different. His hair has grown down past his backside and his eyebrows have furrowed giving him the look of complete and utter rage. Vegeta stands in shock. 'I-is this.. IS THAT SUPER SAIYAN 3!? Has this blubbering oaf been fighting me with lesser Super Saiyan forms?? T-Thats..thats not possible...' Vegeta looks on at Goku as Goku throws his arms back with his head jolting up as he lets out a terrifying scream. With that his power continues to rise. Vegeta looks on at him in with a mix of anger and horror. 'I can't believe he's done it again, not only is he finding new variations of forms but he is still stronger! Damn it! I have to end Kakarot's rampage before Bulma gets here. Looks like I have a countdown, and do I love working on a time crunch.' He thinks as he ready's himself again, Goku ends his power surge and looks down at Vegeta. Goku then leaps forward towards him and begins to launch blow after blow, with Vegeta blocking every strike. Even though Goku is much stronger even in this variation of Super Saiayn 3 he is still slow, this causes Vegeta to catch the upper hand and after blocking one of his attacks he grabs Goku's hand pulling him in and sending his knee right into Goku's chin, this knocks Goku back a good bit but this also throws Goku into a rage.

Vegeta: "Oh great.. what now Kakarot!"

Goku begins surging again but this time that black glow begins to turn red and the trim turn a deep black as his hair shrinks but starts to turn upward, as he ascends into Dark Super Saiyan God he cracks the ground below him causing Vegeta to lose his balance and jump into the air to float. Goku's hair that is now raised up goes from the classic Red-Magenta to a Wine-Red. Goku's power starts to cause fire to appear just outside of his aura. Vegeta just looks on in disbelief as he shakes his head and rushes in to finish Goku, he throws his fist at Goku when suddenly Goku catches his fist, so Vegeta counters with his left, which is promptly also caught. Vegeta struggles to pull away from Goku as he starte to slowly levitate a foot above the ground when just then Goku sends his forehead into Vegeta's sending him into the ground and causing him to drop his Super Saiyan God form. With Vegeta seemingly Knocked out Goku grabs Vegeta's arm and lifts him in the air to finish him off when Goku suddenly feels another energy approaching, no... 3 energies approaching.

In the distance the energies become more clear. Bulma is arriving Via plane, along with Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan. Goku drops Vegeta and turns towards the Z Fighters in coming, thay Vegeta regains consciousness and after a few seconds he feels the energies of everyone coming in thats when he snaps into it and gets up. Goku turns back around and scowls at Vegeta. Vegeta powers up with an enormous roar as a blue aura wraps around him and bursts outward with his hair getting shaper and turning electric blue. He gets in an offensive stance and peers at Goku with hardened eyes.

Vegeta: "Get ready Kakarot, now its time for you to meet your match!"

Vegeta pushes off the ground and flings Goku into the air and he follows by punching Goku farther and farther into the air with each punch its like a bomb exploding in the sky and with each punch Vegeta puts more and more power into them. Once they reach a good distance in the air Vegeta grabs Goku and flips him facing the ground and sends his boot into his spine causing Goku to plummet to the Earth below. He then follows his attack with a volley of Ki-Blasts as he follows him down at high speeds. Right then Goku smacks into the ground cracking the rocks below and then shattering them and the power of the impact causes Goku to bounces back up a bit but Vegeta sends him back to the ground with his knee followed into his gut. Vegeta steps back from Goku. 'Is it done.. is he.. is he finally out?' Vegeta look him over when he looks back to the crew arriving. The all eventually land Vegeta powers down and walks his way to them.

Krillin: "Where's Goku? I heard something is going on?"

Piccolo: "You didn't kill him Vegeta did you?"

Vegeta: "Of course I didn't, what kind of animal do you take me for Nemekian."

Gohan: "He didn't mean it like that Vegeta I think thats piccolo's attempt at humor. Is my dad okay though? I heard about whats been happening."

Vegeta: "Yeah Kakatot, dear o'l dad is in that crater over there." Vegeta gestures behind him

Bulma: "Oh Vegeta you're all cut up, come here." Bulma begins cleaning his wounds and dirt up with a small hand towel she had in her plane and the Z-Fighters begin snickering at this

Vegeta: "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT FOOLS!?" The group stops and starts looking around with a whistle

With the group starting to unwind and Bulma babying Vegeta they all stop when a big crack in the ground is heard from the crater that Goku was left in. They all look at it and Vegeta flicks right back into Super Sayian Blue and gets in a stance ready for Goku. Goku's hand comes out from the crater and pulls himself up but he just stands there looking down. The group just waits for his next move, wondering if this is the Goku they all know. Goku takes a deep breath in and a White-blueish aura appears like Ultra Instinct appears around him for a moment and is immediately smothered away and replaced with that black aura.

Krillin: "G-Goku..? Are you okay?"

Right as his words finish, within a blink of an eye Goku vanishes and appears right behind Krillin, the whole groups eyes grow wide they just stay still in complete shock when Krillin looks up at Goku and looks into his eyes.

Krillin: "G-Goku what ar-"

Krillin is cut off when Goku slaps him into Bluma's plane causing it to explode.

Gohan: "KRILLIN!!!"

As the group looks at Goku in horror slowly backing away from him, Vegeta gets infront of Bulma with Piccolo following slowly joining his lead and the two get into a fighting stance ready to finish this fight with Goku.

Hey everyone! I know this was a long and dramatic one but i felt that this was a good way to handle Goku after the events with Chi Chi.

I do hope everyone enjoys the read as much as im putting them out. Chapter 4 will absolutely continue with this fight but won't be the whole Chapter I hope the fight was nicely paced and feels good to read
