Anyways on with the chapter!
Three days after it was revealed Kari was the Digidestined of Light and that there was an organization involved with the Digital World, we see Demiyah, Tommy, Kimberly, Kasai, Natsumi, Right and Denki in Shinjuku.
"Wizardmon is currently gathering information, specifically where the real Crest of Light is located." Explains Demiyah, having received her crest from Tyson after the meeting. He admits he fought Myotismon in his Ranger form and managed to get the crest of miracles away from him.
That's when Demiyah senses the power of the Golden Radiance, which confuses her. At least until she remembers that Sailor Miracles and Faith had access to the Golden Radiance as well. There were also the Radiance Knights: Digidestined chosen by Sailor Miracles and Faith to wield the Golden Radiance.
Demiyah promptly tells them about sensing the Golden Radiance and they follow her while she tracks it.
After tracking the energy for about 20 minutes they come across two kids Demiyah and Denki's age. The boy has dark blue hair and gray eyes, with him is a Terriermon. The girl had magenta colored hair and eyes, with her is a Lopmon.
When they notice Demiyah and the rest of them they try to pass their partners off as stuffed toys.
"Nice try, we know what they are. But we're not connected to DATS." Demiyah says, making the two kids sigh in relief when she shows them her D-Arc Digivice.
"Where's your partner?" Asks the boy, who introduces himself as Henry Wong.
"My first partner is currently gathering information from an enemy of another Digidestined group in Odaiba and my current partner is missing." Explains Demiyah
This shocks them since they didn't expect to encounter a Digidestined with two partners, or that one of them was missing.
"Who's your missing partner?" Asks the girl, who introduces herself as Suzie Wong.
"My missing partner is named Veemon." Says Demiyah, having learned that from Wizardmon.
Suzie looks at her.
"I know where he is, I'll take you to him." Says Suzie.
With that the group follows Suzie to where Veemon is hiding.
A little while later at Shinjuku Park, we see the group following Suzie towards an old shed.
"Alright, this is where he's been hiding. I know only know about this place because I found it after having a breakdown when I realized I was stuck in the body of a 6 year old. Thankfully, that curse is now broken." Suzie says, before looking at Demiyah.
"You are aware you have more than one soul bond right?" Suzie asks, getting a shocked look from Demiyah.
"No, I only knew about Matt Holt." Demiyah admits.
"Okay, looks like we'll need to look into that at a later time." Tommy says awkwardly.
Demiyah nods her head in agreement, knowing she still needs to tell her parents about what she discovered about Caroline a week ago.
With that the group heads towards the shed and they see a blue dragon Digimon with red eyes and a yellow V on his forehead.
"Why exactly are you hiding in a shed?" Kimberly asks.
"Because I'm hiding from DATS, Myotismon and Diomedes. Diomedes in particular because he's been after me, due to the fact I found a journal belonging to Princess Serenity." Explains the dragon Digimon, introducing himself as Veemon.
That's when Digivice in Veemon's claw starts glowing indicating Demiyah is his partner.
"Well, I was told my partner is supposed to be the Princess of Light. I guess that means you're the Princess." Veemon says, getting a nod from Demiyah as he hands the Digivice to her.
"Veemon, I have a question. During the Silver Millenium, I had two partners. Wizardmon and Witchmon. I met up with Wizardmon again, he's the one who got you out of Myotismon's clutches. But what happened to Witchmon?" Demiyah asks concerned.
"Someone else became Witchmon's partner, which is why I was selected as a replacement." Explains Veemon.
"Do you know who the replacement partner is?" Asks Demiyah.
"No, not at the moment. As far as I can tell they haven't been activated as a Digidestined yet and I can only track an active Digidestined thanks to our connection." Answers Veemon.
That makes Demiyah quiet since she didn't know her powers could effect a Digimon like that. But she was also curious, how did she lose her bond with Witchmon?
Before she could ponder this any longer, an explosion is heard from a distance away.
"Oh boy, we might need to go check that out. Cause if this going where I think it is, then things are going to get a lot more inetresting." Demiyah says.
With that, Demiyah, Kasai, Natsumi, Tommy, Kimberly, the Wong Twins, Denki, Right and Veemon go to see what's going on.
When they get there they see Aqua/Psycho Gold along with Larxene. That's Tommy notices something, or rather someone.
"Uh, how did they get one of the Sailor Starlights?" Tommy asks in alarm.
Sure enough, Larxene is hold Sailor Star Healer/ Jaiden at knife point.
Before Larxene can issue an ultimatum she attacked from behind by Sailor Star Fighter/ Sam and Sailor Star Maker/ Taylor.
That's when Aqua/ Psycho Gold tries blast Demiyah with an energy attack. Before it can hit her she feels a new power awaken as a barrier forms around her and reflects the attack.
The Digivice that Veemon gave her starts to glow as well.
Veemon Digivolve to... ExVeemon!
In Veemon's spot stood a taller blue dragon Digimon with wings on its back and an X on its chest. Veemon had Digivolved into his Champion form.
ExVeemon then uses his 'Vee Laser' attack to knock Aqua/Psycho Gold to the ground while the three Starlights fought Larxene. Eventually, they were able to get both Larxene and Aqua/Psycho Gold in the same spot.
"Moon Healing Escalation!" Demiyah shouts, having summoned the Crescent Moon Wand. The causes Aqua/Psycho Gold and Larxene to be purified of the mind control, the part of Diomedes Heart in Larxene to be destroyed after leaving her body and for Larxene to turn back into Elrena.
"What happened?" Aqua asks, rubbing her head.
"It's a long story Aqua, what's the last thing you remember?" Asks Demiyah.
"I remember being in the Realm of Darkness for a while, I also remember bits and pieces of what happened after I got out of the Realm of Darkness." Aqua admits.
"Okay, do you know how long you were in the Realm of Darkness?" Asks Demiyah.
"I'm not a hundred percent sure, but if I were to take a guess I'd say a year and a half." Aqua says, before asking a question of her own.
"Demiyah, where are we?" Aqua asks.
"Currently we are in Japan, Odaiba to be exact." Explains Demiyah, making Aqua nod.
"Okay, but what about her?" Aqua asks, looking over at the unconscious Elrena.
"That's a long story. I'll fill you in while we head to the Silver Guaridans base here in Odaiba." Demiyah says.
"Why are we heading to the Silver Guardians base exactly?" Asks Aqua.
"Because, we need to inform the Ranger Council that you're free of the mind control, get in contact with your family and get Elrena medical attention from the Rangers."
"Elrena? Is that the blond woman who's unconscious on the ground?" Asks Aqua, looking at the antenna haired woman.
"Yeah, you remember Strelitzia Florius right?" Asks Demiyah.
"The Pink Stratoforce Ranger the Master Yen Sid always talked about?"
"Yeah, that her and Lauriam's sister." Demiyah says, causing Aqua's eyes to widen.
"How do you know that?" Asks Aqua.
"I'll explain on the way to the Silver Guardians base." Says Demiyah, making Aqua nod.
With that, the groups heads to the base, Tommy carrying the unconscious Elrena.
Hey, sis? Right asks Demiyah as she sits in one of the chairs at the Silver Guardians base while waiting to hear news about Elrena.
"Yeah Right?" Demiyah asks, looking at her younger brother.
"What was that shield you used to reflect Aqua's energy attack?" Right asks, making Demiyah look thoughtful.
"I'm honestly not sure. It could've been my magic, but I get the feeling it isn't." Demiyah admits.
"Maybe it's a new power of some sort?" Denki suggests, making Demiyah look at him and nod.
"Maybe, but what type of power could it be?" Asks Demiyah, getting shrugs from Denki and Right.
Eventually, the doctor who was looking over Elrena comes out with Tommy, Kimberly, Kasai and Natsumi.
"What's the situation?" Asks Demiyah.
"She's alright, she's just exhausted." The doctor says, getting a sigh of relief from Demiyah.
"What about Aqua?" Asks Demiyah.
"She's alright as well, we've gotten in contact with her family in Shinjuku and they're going to be coming over in a few days, she doesn't need to stay in the hospital so she'll be staying with us in the hotel." Explains Kimberly.
Demiyah, Denki and Right nod at this.
"I should probably let Tyson know that I found Veemon and that he Digivolved to Champion Level." Demiyah says, getting nods her parents.
"Don't forget to inform Aqua on how you know that woman was Elrena." Kimberly says with a grin.
Demiyah nods at that, before going to check on Aqua and Elrena and filling them in on everything.
