Hey everyone I'm back with the next chapter! And just in time for the day of Rugrats' release on T.V all the way back in 1991 a whole 31 years ago! Anyway hope you all enjoy this chapter!
"Come on minis, lets get you some treats!" Taffy exclaimed, ushering the babies onward from the front lawn of the Pickles' residence as they all began walking together to the nearest house that was giving out candy. Their first stop was the elderly neighbor, Mr. Philahalster, who was dressed as a pirate along with his pet poodle cuddles who was resting next to him.
"Well hello there youngesters, Happy Halloween!" Mr. Philahalster greeted as the group
"Hey Mr. Philahalster great costume." Taffy grinned, "Alright minis can you say trick or treat for Mr. Philahalster?"
"Trick or treat!" Angelica, Susie, and Kimi all bellowed out
"Trick and treat!" Kimi called out next while Chuckie just hid out behind his younger sibling
"Trick treat!" The rest of the group cried out as everyone held out their buckets
"Well well what great costumes you all have, here you go." Mr. Philahalster chuckled, placing a small handful of candy in each of their buckets one by one.
Cuddles, who was awoken to what was another group of noisy kids to her, let out a low growl which caused a yelp from Chuckie as he ran back over to Taffy quickly to hide from the poodle.
"Don't worry about her youngster, she's just a little cranky from all the noise." Mr. Philahalster called out to Chuckie.
Shaking slightly, Chuckie hid behind Taffy as the others got their candy from the elder. Once done, they all ran back over to Taffy to continue on their trick or treating journey through the neighborhood. As the Rugrats began walking off towards the next few houses, Tommy whispered to Chuckie.
"I'm glads that doggie, Cuddles, went back to that old guy. She's no Spike." Tommy said, shaking his head.
"Yeah, she's scary." Chuckie replied
Taffy guided the kids as the stopped at the next set of houses where there was Mrs. Whitmore, Mr. McDermott, and Mrs. Kraptchick also handed out candy to the Rugrats. Upon receiving their candy and moving on Chuckie shuddered at the memory of the time each of the neighbors in question fawned over his red hair.
"Be happy that they didn't sees your hair right now Tommy, those were the olderer people that kepts calling me carrot top and stuffs." Chuckie whispered to his friend as they left those set of houses
"Ooh yeah, I didn't likes being called a grape head much more than you liked being called a carrot top." Tommy replied, relieved that his head was covered by the head of his reptar costume
Continuing their walk up the sidewalk, the group eventually made it to the McNulty's household where they were the ones holding a haunted house this year. Taffy, spotting her friend Britannica outside the home with the McNulty boys, who were running into the corn maze that was in the backyard from the front yard side game, smiled as she waved from across the street to her friend.
"Hey Britannica!" Taffy called out before turning to the group, "Alright minis, lets hold hands so we can cross the street together alright?"
With everyone nodding in agreement, each held onto each others hands as they crossed the street with Taffy over to the McNulty's home and over too Britannica
"Hey Taffy, how's it going with your little rugrats tonight?" Britannica asked
"Great! We just hit a couple houses from the Pickles' place to here. How about you?" Taffy asked
"It's alright, caring for these six is a lot to handle. Then again I'm just helping out since their mom is hosting the haunted house." Britannica answered, "There's even a corn maze out back for the younger kids. Wanna check it out?"
"What do you say to that minis?" Taffy asked, looking to the group of toddlers who all babbled happily in response
"Sure I wouldn't mind going." Susie also replied
Angelica, however, wasn't too keen on going into the maze, especially knowing Timmy McNulty and his brothers were involved in some way.
"Do I have to go? It's just some dumb baby maze." Angelica grumbled
"Aw come on Angelica, you don't want to miss out on the fun. Besides, we can all go together!" Taffy beamed
"Did I mention if you make it to the end you get candy?" Britannica questioned
With her eyes lighting up, Angelica decided to comply for the time being as she quickly moved to catch up with the group who already ran off ahead into the corn maze.
"Wow this mage is really big!" Tommy gasped
"Alright you dumb babies, there's candy at the end of this mage so we has to find the end of it!" Angelica insisted.
"Oooh candy!" Lil cooed
"I wants more candy!" Kimi cheered
"Yeah me too!" Phil also chimed in
"How do we gets to the end of the mage though?" Dil asked
"We just has to find the right paths that take us all the way to the other side of the mage." Susie explained
"That sounds like fun!" Savannah commented
"Yeah lets get to the end of the mage you guys!" Tommy bellowed running off ahead
Seeing Tommy run off ahead, the rest soon followed as they attempted to make their way through the maze. Of course they immediately ran into a dead end upon the first choice of a turn having them have to turn and go the other way. Heading in the right direction the babies continued on their way through the maze until the hit the next fork of the maze. However before they could make their choice, Tanner McNulty came running from one direction of the forks. Tanner was dressed in a werewolf costume himself as he ran up to the group.
"What are you guys doing in our mage?" Tanner frowned
"Your babysitter said we could comes in here. We're going to find the candy." Savannah replied
"Nuh uh that's our candy and you can't haves it." Tanner insisted, crossing his arms
"Out of the way you pipsqueak, that candy is mine!" Angelica exclaimed, moving to push past Tanner
"Not ifs I, the werewuff, has anythings to says about it!" Tanner cried out.
"Oh please, what's a dumb baby in a dumb werewuff like you going to do?" Angelica scoffed
Tanner frowned, his costume wasn't dumb! It was cool! And he wasn't going to let Angelica tell him otherwise, nor let her get to the candy. Running up to her, he grabbed Angelica's arm as he bit down on her hand and hard! He was still teething so the other teeth hadn't come in yet but his one sharp tooth pierced into Angelica's skin causing it to bleed.
"Ow! He bit me!" Angelica screamed prying the youngest McNulty from her hand
"Have fun turning into a werewuff now you big meanie!" Tanner cackled before running off to find his brothers.
"Angelica you're bleeding!" Susie exclaimed in slight concerned noticing the blood coming from it
"Oh it's no big deal it's just some dumb blood." Angelica frowned, cradling her hand
"But what if you actually turns into a werewuff?" Tommy asked
"Yeah and then you bites us!" Phil exclaimed
"And turns us all into werewuffs too!" Lil also yelled
"I knew this was a bad idea, I shoulds have stayed outsides the maze. We're doomed..." Chuckie whimpered
"I don't wants to be a werewuff!" Dil cried out
"Me neither!" Savannah also responded
"But if we did turn into werewuffs we get fleas." Phil commented
"And we'd be like doggies and can roll around in the mud and bite peoples." Lil giggled
"No one's gonna turns into a werewuff we just gots to um...Oh! Maybe if we gets a sticky for Angelica's boo boo it'll stops her from turning into a werewuff?" Tommy suggested as he turned to Susie, "Susie do you haves any stickies in your bag?"
"Um well, yes, but they're not real stickies, they're just cardboard ones for fake boo boos." Susie answered, reaching into her bag to pull out the cardboard and plastic made bandaids in the toy kit
"Some doctor you are Carmichael..." Angelica griped as Susie rolled her eyes, putting the bandages back in her bag
"Maybe they gots some inside the haunty house, asides it's still their regular house toos." Savannah said
"Great idea, lets go backs and gos in their house, maybe we can find a sticky in there!" Tommy nodded in agreement
"Wait a minute Tommy, I'm not going in no haunty house not after we had to go into the growed up one last time!" Chuckie refuted, not wanting a repeat of the previous year
"Come on Chuckie, we has to do this or we might all gets turned into werewuffs for reals." Kimi replied, trying to convince her brother
"Oooh...alright but lets find the stickies fast so we don't has to be in there any longer than we have toos." Chuckie sighed, giving into his sister's pleas, along with not wanting to turn into an actual werewuff.
"Alright lets go you guys, Angelica you waits outside the maze so uh just in case you turns into a werewuff you don't bites us. And Susie you stays with her just in case she actually does starts turning into a werewuff so you can come and warns us." Tommy said
"Yeah yeah." Angelica muttered
"Can do, Tommy!" Susie nodded
Making their way back out of the Maze, Angelica and Susie stayed outside the entranceway to the maze, meanwhile the babies then moved to the entrance of the house, which was also the entrance to the McNulty haunted house. Cautiously they made their way into the house, making sure to stick close together.
