Warning: This chapter will contain some spoilers from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. If you have not seen the movie, I recommend seeing it before reading this chapter.
Nevertheless, here is chapter 1 everybody!
Chapter 1: Preparing for a Wedding.
In the present year of 2025, it was a nice day at Amity Park. However, the peace didn't last since the ghosts continue to come over to the town, either to take over the world or hunt down the world famous Team Phantom leaders and former Avengers Danny and Dani Phantom. A battle was taking place at Downtown Amity Park as still 30 year old Danny and still 26/14 year old Dani was battling Spectra and Bertrand. Bertrand, in his lion form, has just managed to pin Danny down to the ground.
"Even for a grown 30 year old adult, you still happen to be a loser." Bertrand said, trying to antagonize Danny.
"That's already too old Bertrand and says the one who's been beaten by me many times." Danny said.
"And you're soon gonna become a loser again." Dani said as she charged towards Bertrand before giving him a powerful roundhouse kick, freeing Danny.
"Thanks, sis." Danny said as he got back up.
"No problem, big bro." Dani said.
Danny and Dani watch as Bertrand gets back up to see the two of them standing their ground. Before anyone can react, Danny and Dani felt something or someone grabbing them and could feel their energy starting to drain. They quickly react and toss Spectra away from them.
"That was close." Dani said.
"Alright, Spectra, why don't you and your worthless assistant go back to the Ghost Zone before you suffer another brutal defeat." Danny said.
"Why I would love to do that, Danny, but unfortunately, I have some energy to take if I want to retain my beauty. And your energy is just what I need." Spectra said with a evil grin.
"Well, you had a miss opportunity since 2018 and you won't get a opportunity now." Dani said with a smirk.
Before Spectra and Bertrand can reacted, they suddenly screamed in pain as they were being shot by a sudden shock of electricity thanks to a attack by Sam Manson and Jacob Collins, who were holding new taser-like Fenton weapons called the Ecto-Tempest. Spectra and Bertrand suddenly collapsed down unconscious thanks to the shock before Danny use one of the Fenton Thermoses on his gloves to capture the two ghosts. Dani then changes into her Human form where she is wearing a blue tanktop, midriff exposed, a gold necklace that shows the Crucifix, a pair of dark blue jeans and dark blue converses. She approaches Jacob who was holding the new weapon.
"Good thing Call of Duty: Mobile inspired the creation of the Ecto-Tempest." Jacob said.
"And better yet, it's unlimited firing as well. Also hope we can play tonight." Dani said.
Danny approached his fiancée Sam. The two has been engaged for 8 months now and the two are getting prepared for their big wedding. However, some of their wedding plans is going slowly due to the constant ghost fighting. In the meantime, the two continue to spend their time together and Danny continues to love Sam with all his heart, like right now as he continues to admire her beauty. Sam is now wearing a black crop top, midriff exposed, with the DP logo on it and a lower white trim, and she still wears black jeans with some rips, black combat boots, long black gloves, a black choker, and the Fenton phones. Her hair is still straightened and the bottom half is dyed purple in a ombre fashion. Danny still can't believe that he will soon marry her and is looking forward to the day when he sees her walk down the aisle in all white. Sam, on the other hand, can't believe that she will soon marry the man that she have known since preschool and man she fell in love with for years. She can't believe that her dream of becoming Sam Fenton will soon become a reality and she is looking forward to spending the rest of her life with Danny and start a family with him. In the meantime, the two will just continue making preparations and doing their Team Phantom duties.
"Well, I guess that handles the ghosts for the day, I think we should head home so that Sam and I can continue making our wedding preparations." Danny said.
"You and Sam go ahead. Jacob and I are heading to the movies." Dani said.
"Alright then. I'll see you at home then, Dani." Danny said.
Dani and Jacob then left to head to the movie theater as Danny faces Sam.
"Shall I fly my beautiful goth fiancée back to my house?" Danny asked, making Sam chuckle.
"You and your cheesy ways. You know my full goth persona have wear off, right?" Sam asked.
"I know but you still have that attitude of one and wear black. You could say you're half goth. Also not to mention you are about to marry a half ghost hybird." Danny said with a chuckle.
"Yeah, but those goth days back in high school are behind me now. Besides, I was just a self-proclaimed goth." Sam said with a chuckle. "But, to answer your initial question, I would love a flight back to your house."
Danny then carried Sam bridal style and took off for the short flight back to his house. The two reach the house before Sam sits at the nearby couch.
"I can't wait for the day when I do that on our wedding day." Danny said.
"Same. Always have dreams about that." Sam said.
Danny then changed into his Human form where he is now wearing a unbuttoned dark reddish-brownish shirt, a gray shirt underneath, blue jeans and black shoes. Danny then sat next to Sam as the two look at their preparations that they left at the nearby coffee table.
"Alright, did you send out the invitations?" Sam asked.
"Some. I still got send more, like to Rhodey, Sam, Bucky, Scott, Strange, Wong, Clint and his family, Bruce, Princess Shuri and everyone else. Nevertheless, already send the invitations of all our relatives and relatives of our team members. What about you?" Danny asked.
"Well, I made Dani the maid of honor. Then of course the other bridesmaids are Jazz, Valerie, Victoria, Sierra and Venus." Sam replied.
"Tucker's the Best Man. Other groomsmen are Jacob, Wes, Trevor, David and Wilson." Danny said.
"Alright, now I just need to set up a appointment with the girls to get me a dress." Sam said.
"And I gotta get myself a suit." Danny said.
Danny and Sam smiled at each other before Sam started to feel a little down, which Danny took noticed.
"What's wrong, Sam?" Danny asked.
"Nothing, it's just that I wish my grandma was still here to see this." Sam said sadly.
"I know how you feel. I feel the same about Steve, Tony, Natasha and King T'Challa. I wish they were still here." Danny said.
Danny and Sam look down in sadness before a idea pop in Danny's mind.
"Hey, I got a idea to make sure Grandma Manson, Steve, Tony, Natasha and T'Challa are honored. Remember the wedding scene at the end of the movie Armageddon?" Danny asked.
"Yeah." Sam replied.
"Okay, you know how the characters honored their deceased love ones by displaying picture frames of them?" Danny asked.
"Yeah. That was very emotional to say at least." Sam replied.
"We should do the same for our wedding. Put up large picture frames of Grandma Manson, Steve, Tony, Natasha and T'Challa in the church." Danny said.
"That's a great idea." Sam said with a smile.
Danny and Sam smiled and were about to share a kiss until Danny's ghost sense went off.
"And of course a ghost has to ruined the moment." Danny said as he felt annoyed.
"Well, let's find out who it is." Sam said.
Danny changes into his ghost form before he and Sam exit out the house. However, before they can do anything, they are stun by the sudden appearance of Lady Siv, who look badly injured.
"Phantom... Lady Manson..." Siv said before collapsing to the ground.
"Siv!" Danny said before he and Sam can barely lift her up. "What happened?"
"The Dark Phantoms..." Siv said weakly.
Danny and Sam couldn't believe what they heard. What they do know is that Dan and Dana Phantom are about to make their strike.
"Let's call the team and gather at Fenton Works." Danny ordered.
And that's the end of the chapter. Danny and Sam looking forward to their big day. Noticed the references to Black Panther as well as Doctor Strange? Can't miss that. And to those that follows this series closely, the Ecto-Tempest should ring a bell as a different version of this weapon appeared in a Next Gen one shot.
