CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE: AIRA VS. AIRA

Code ETD, the plan to bring destruction to Extalia, activates.

Meanwhile, Natsu and Wendy remained chained in their prisons.

After formulating a rescue plan while hiding in a supply room, Happy comes bursting through the corridor in order to create a diversion. Lucy, Carla, and Cain head down the hall after the guards are distracted. However, their path is blocked once more by Knightwalker and eventually, Happy is captured. As Knightwalker is about to deliver the final blow to Happy, something bursts through the walls.

"What now?!" Knightwalker tries to look through the steam. Lucy, Happy, Cain, and Carla are surprised to see the figures.

"Hey, you there." A voice speaks out loud. "You did this knowing they're members of our guild?"

"We will never forgive those who lay hands on our fellow guild members!" Another voice speaks out.

"But, how did you..." Carla gasped.

"All of you are now our enemies! Enemies of Fairy Tail!"

The figures were revealed to be Aira, Gray, and Erza. "W-What?" A guard spoke in confusion. "There's another... Erza-san and Aira-san?"

"Aira! Gray! Erza!" Lucy cries tears of joy, glad to see them again.

"Is that Gray Surge?" One of the guards asked.

"No... It's the Earthland one!" Another guard responded.

"Where are our friends?" Aira asked, glaring at them angrily. "Where are the others you turned into a lacrima, huh?!" He swipes his arm summoning water to attack the guards. Knightwalker dodges his attack by jumping up and aiming for Aira, but Erza's sword blocks her.

Both Erzas stare at each other with deadly glares.

"Erza vs. Erza?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"You bastard! You aren't going to get away with this! I'm gonna whup you good!" Natsu screamed from his cell.

"That's Natsu's voice!" Lucy shouted.

"He's near here?" Aira asked.

"I bet he's up ahead!" Happy said.

"Wendy should be with him!" Carla added.

"Aira, you and Gray go ahead!" Erza ordered.

"Right!" Aira rushes over to Lucy's side. "Can you stand, Lucy?"

"Yeah." Lucy responded as Gray freezes the handcuffs on her wrists. "How did you get here?"

"I'll fill you in later." Aira answered. "Let's go!"

Erza and Knightwalker both have scratches on their faces. The Erzas introduce themselves to each other. Knightwalker challenges her counterpart and, changing her spear into Silfarion, charges at Erza. Erza is surprised with her opponent's speed and requips into her Flight Armor. Knightwalker is surprised to see that her opponent's speed has multiplied and changes her spear into Mel Force, attacking Erza and sending her through a wall.

Erza initially thinks that Knightwalker is using Requip too but realizes that she is only changing her weapon. Knightwalker then attacks with her Explosion Spear but Erza defends herself by requipping into her Flame Empress Armor. Knightwalker and Erza then explain their Magic to each other and conclude that their Magic's effects are the same as the two prepare for battle once more.

"The lacrima in an open square?" Lucy questioned.

"Yeah, that's right. Seems like that part was basically Gray and Erza." Aira explained.

"No way!" Lucy commented.

"But, how did you know it was Gray and Erza?" Cain asked.

Aira stops running and looks at his partner. "Mystogan told me."

(Past)

Aira wakes up from inside the Anima. He wonders why everything is gone and where everyone was. "Where am I?" He asked himself. He wonders around the place and suddenly runs into Mystogan. "Mystogan?"

"Aira, you're here too?" Mystogan asked.

"What the hell happened?! And where is everyone?" Aira questioned in confusion.

"I have little time to explain, but here take this." Mystogan hands him a bottle of red pills. "Take one before you go to Edolas."

"Edolas? Wait, I have to swallow this?" Aira takes one of the red pills and examines it.

"Quickly, we have no time left!" Mystogan said. Aira attempts to swallow the red pill. "When you see the others, give them these exact pills, it allows you to use magic in Edolas."

"Now what?" Aira asked.

"Inside Edolas, there is a giant Lacrima and you have to destroy it in order to save everybody from the guild." Mystogan explained. "Good luck, I have to go." He disappears in thin air.

"Where'd you go?!" Aira exclaimed. "I guess I have to go in Edolas. Man, why is everything to confusing?!"

(Past)

In the Royal City...

When Aira slashes his blade and creates a crack in the Lacrima, it begins to shine. "What the... Only two?" Aira asks himself. Two specific Mages lay on the ground. "Hey, wake up! Pay attention!" Gray and Erza stand up and open their eyes. "Ah, you're awake."

"Aira?" Erza questioned.

"What happened?" Gray asked, looking around.

"I'll explain later. We're beatin' it outta here!" Aira responded.

The guards charge at the Mages. "You fiend!"

"What have you done? You won't get away!"

Suddenly, two figures join in and attacks the guards.

"Iron Dragon's Roar!"

"Earth Dragon's Roar!"

The two attacks wipe out a ton of guards. Erza, Gray, and Aira look at the two cloaked figures. Both Gajeel and Satsuki take off their cloaks to reveal themselves.

"Oh, you're here too?" Aira questioned.

"You interrupted our plan!" Satsuki yelled furiously at Aira.

"What plan?" Aira asked. Satsuki growls at him, wanting to choke him with her bare hands, but before she does so, they escape from the guards before they get caught and arrested.

They go hide in an alleyway where there is nobody around. "Why is it you can use magic?" Gray asked.

"First, take one of these." Aira takes out the bottle of strange red pills.

"What happened? Tell us the details!" Erza demanded.

"The two of you were turned into a lacrima." Two figures approach them.

"Oh, you're here." Gajeel looked at his counterpart.

"Our plan got messed up because of this idiot!" Satsuki added.

"Who're you calling a idiot?!" Aira argued.

"You obviously!" Satsuki shouted.

"Quiet!" Erza glared at them with a deadly look. They stopped arguing and face away from each other.

"No need to worry, even if someone did interrupt our plan, it worked marvelous!" Edo-Gajeel looks up at them, revealing his face to them.

Gray gasps as he turns pale. "There are two..."

"...Gajeels and Satsukis?!" Erza's surprised as well.

"I'm this world's Satsuki." Edo-Satsuki explained.

Gajeel wraps an arm Edo-Gajeel's shoulder. "I am the Gajeel from this world." Edo-Gajeel replied.

"He's a pretty useful guy." Gajeel added. "Look at his face! That's a face that says 'I get things done.'" He chuckles to himself.

"That aside, what do you mean we turned into lacrima?!" Erza asked.

"That aside...?" Gajeel repeated.

"It means she doesn't give a crap about your face." Aira smirked. Gajeel and Edo-Gajeel act gloomy for a second.

"All the wizards of Fairy Tail have been turned into lacrima. They were after your magic power. Gajeel and I thought the lacrima in the open square was it, but..." Edo-Satsuki explained.

"Even though it was so big, it was only you two." Satsuki added, looking at both Gray and Erza.

"How hella big is the real one?" Aira questioned.

"There was a cut face open on that lacrima, yes..." Edo-Gajeel pointed out. "Now that I think about it, that means it was a section that was cut off."

"There's still so much I want to ask, but what were those strange pills?" Gray asked.

"They're called exballs, and they're said to be a medicine that lets you use magic in this world." Aira replied. "We'll talk about the rest after you take these." He hands one to Gray and Erza.

"Said to be?" Erza repeated.

"I got 'em from Mystogan." Aira responded.

"From Mystogan?" Erza questioned.

(Present)

"I see! Gajeel and Satsuki are also Dragon Slayers, so Anima didn't work on them either, just like you, Natsu, and Wendy!" Happy stated.

"So you remained in Earthland?" Lucy asked.

"Then, Mystogan sent me over here." Aira added.

"Why won't he come here himself?" Lucy questioned.

"In this world Dragon Slayer Magic can be used for a bunch of things. It can turn our friends turned into lacrima back to normal!" Aira explained.

"Really?" Carla gasped.

"We know where that lacrima is!" Happy said.

"Really, Happy?" Aira turns to look at Happy.

"Aye!" Happy answered.

"Gajeel and Satsuki are both running wild in the city right now searching for that giant lacrima!" Aira imagines Gajeel and Satsuki taking on the Royal Army. He kneels down Happy's level. "Can you and Cain take Gajeel and Satsuki to where the lacrima is?"

"Gajeel and Satsuki should be able to turn everyone back to normal, right?" Cain asked.

"To be precise, Natsu and Wendy should also be able to, but they wouldn't know how." Aira answered.

"Got it! Cain and I will take Gajeel and Satsuki there!" Happy and Cain fly away to Gajeel and Satsuki's direction.

"Wait... Are you gonna be okay, Happy, Cain?!" Lucy questioned.

"They will be fine." Carla responded.

"We've got to go find Natsu and Wendy, too!" Aira said.

"Yeah!" Lucy agrees with him as they run to find the missing Dragon Slayers.

While they are running, someone suddenly attacks them. Aira quickly reacts and makes a wall of water to protect them.

"What now?!" Aira asked in annoyance.

"Sorry, but I'm afraid I cannot let you pass."

Lucy, Gray, and Carla's eyes widened in shock upon who the figure was.

"There are two Airas?" Gray questioned.

"What's your deal, man? We're in a hurry here!" Aira informed.

"It seems Knightwalker has her hands full with her counterpart." Edo-Aira spoke. "Seems like I have to take out the trash myself."

"First Erza vs. Erza, and now it's Aira vs. Aira?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Gray, go on ahead! Let me deal with him. Give these pills to Natsu and Wendy!" Aira tosses the bottle of red pills to Gray, who catches it.

"Got it. But will you be okay?" Gray asked.

"I'll be fine! Go!" Aira replied. Gray nodded as him, Lucy, and Carla continued on to find Natsu and Wendy while the two Airas glared at each other.

Elsewhere, Faust and Byron are preparing to put their plan of obtaining the Exceed's Magic Power and the giant Lacrima's Magic Power, fuse them and cause an eternal rain of Magic Power to the Royal City into action.

"This is strange. Never would've thought the person to get in my way would be myself." Edo-Aira admitted.

"It is odd." Aira agreed.

"I am the Vice-Captain of the Second Magic Regiment of the Edolas Royal Army, Airavata Chasseur." Edo-Aira introduced himself.

"I am Airavata Mizuki. A Fairy Tail Wizard." Aira said.

"Well, Earthland me, show me what you've got." Edo-Aira challenged as he charged at his counterpart.

"Water Dragon's Crushing Fang!" Aira shouted, jumping up and sending a slash of water towards his Edolas self.

Edo-Aira dodges the attack. "He's fast!" Aira said to himself.

"Water Magic, huh? In that case..." Edo-Aira spins his spear around in his hand. "Raging Bolt!"

The lightning attack hits Aira, sending him into a wall. "Laxus's Magic?" Aira mutters to himself. "No, not quite..."

"So you're one of those Dragon Slayers the King was mentioning, correct?" Edo-Aira asked. "My spear allows me to control all the elements. Not as powerful as Knightwalker's Ten Commandments, but it gets the job done."

Aira stands back up. "Come!" He challenged.

Elsewhere, Happy and Cain find Gajeel and Satsuki fighting some guards and immediately grabs them and carries them towards the giant Lacrima. "Hey, wait... Don't just grab me!" Gajeel complained as Happy carried him while Cain carried Satsuki.

"How do you return the people to normal from a lacrima?" Happy asked.

Gajeel grinned. "You shatter it with Dragon Slayer Magic!" He replied.

"That actually works?" Happy questioned.

"Poseidon seemed to do it, so it's possible." Satsuki responded.

Gajeel and Satsuki eventually arrived towards the Lacrima as Happy and Cain set them down. "I-It's big." Gajeel commented.

"It's bigger than I anticipated." Happy said.

"Considering it is holding our guildmates and the entire town of Magnolia, I'm not surprised." Satsuki reminded them.

"Man, this guild's a real pain in the ass!" Gajeel complained. "When I get home, I'm gonna eat my fill of iron!"

"All right, let's bust this thing up so we can go back home." Satsuki pounded her fists together as she grinned at Gajeel who returned it.

"You can do it, Gajeel, Satsuki!" Happy encouraged.

That's when the four of them suddenly got attacked. "Who the hell are you?!" Gajeel exclaimed.

Two large Exceeds soon appeared in front of them. "Those two..." Happy started to say.

"Captain of the First Magic Regiment of the Royal Army... Panther Lily."

"Vice-Captain of the First Magic Regiment of the Royal Army... Boris."

"This lacrima is completely cruical for this operation. We will not let you!" Panther Lily exclaimed.

"Wings? Don't tell me they're Exceeds?!" Cain exclaimed.

"Stand back, Cats." Gajeel changed his arm into a sword.

"We'll handle them!" Satsuki informed.

"Iron Dragon's Sword!"

"Earth Dragon's Club!"

Both Gajeel and Satsuki attacked Panther Lily and Boris in which they both dodged.

Panther Lily used his Bustermarm Sword while Boris used his katana and cuts off a piece of the floating island, surprising both Gajeel and Satsuki.

"This guy..." Gajeel thought.

"Can someone like you defeat me?" Panther Lily challenged.

"Give us your best shot." Boris added.

A/N: Boris will be Satsuki's Exceed. He's Panther Lily's brother because why not? He has a silver coat instead of black.

I'll be skipping the next episode and going right into the Dragon Chain Cannon, since Aira won't be showing up for the amusement park battle.
