Chapter 115: One's True Purpose

"I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE READY FOR MY FAVORITE COURSE!" Spice called out to both Flora and Cupid as they remained sitting at their table. She came out with a plate full of cheesecake bites, pound cake bites, rice krispies, chocolate covered marshmallows, strawberries and banana slices. Afterwards, she twirled her finger over the pot she placed down and summoned creamy chocolate using her other finger to create caramel intertwining the two flavors in a savory twist sprinkling pecans. Like a symphony of flavor. Afterwards, Spice snapped her fingers to make the chocolate light up into a chocolate flambe. In fact, the faerie was drawing quite a few eyes towards the window with her intoxicating performance as Bright stopped in front of it among a small crowd and smiled softly to himself.

"So...you finally found a way for your own feelings to reach the person you care about most...I wish I had your courage...but seeing you place yourself out there...makes me believe that one day i'll be able to do the same...thank you Flora...for always encouraging me...especially when I needed it the most..." Bright whispered softly to himself as he watched both Cupid and Flora through the restaurant's window. His thoughts however were interrupted as he paused and turned to see Joey running towards him. "HEY!" the blonde yelled loud as he waved his hands in the air. Once he got close enough Joey had to stop and catch his breath visible from the chilly air. The blonde looked back up at Bright as he shivered trying to rub his arms to keep warm.

"M-Man...it's colder dan I first thought..." Joey utterers through his chattering teeth. "A-Anyways what are ya doin out here? E-Everyone's gettin r-ready ta discuss our p-plan ta travel...t-ta D-Dracon-ACHOO! Ugh...Draconia..." the blonde sniffed. Brightly only smiled softly in return. "Sorry about that, I just wanted to get some fresh air..." the prince apologised. "Well, I guess dats alright. But we betta get our asses back ta da cabin." Joey advised as he grabbed Bright's arm before he paused looking in the window. Through the window the blonde saw Cupid and Flora enjoying themselves laughing and smiling without any reservation. But, Joey only smiled in response. "Come on let's go. We can fill Flo and Cupid in later. Let's just leave um be fer now." the blonde told the prince before the hurried on back to the cabin.

"WE'RE HERE!" Joey exclaimed as he and Bright came in through the door. Afterwards they closed it behind them. "Flo and Cupid will probably be joinin us later...so is everyone else accounted for?" the blonde questioned as he plopped down on the chair closest to him. After a moment Bright took a quick look around the room before he opened his mouth. "Where is Lady Bloom?" the prince asked simply as he took a seat on the couch. Looking upwards Cellos pursed his lips to speak. "Errr...Miss Bloom is...how you say...missing...probably tending to Mr. Kaiba...he collapsed rather suddenly...but i'm sure it's nothing to worry about!" the ghoul exclaimed.

As Cellos had said, Bloom was sitting by Kaiba's bedside laying down in his room. The faerie gently removed the wet washcloth from the CEO's forehead and dipped it in the basin filled with water before she folded the washcloth and placed it back on Kaiba's forehead. It was hardly bearable for Bloom to see Kaiba sweating profusely and in so much pain. She knew that he had made his choice and she stood by him. However, Bloom wished she could do something more. That and she couldn't stop worrying about Daphne. Would giving up The Gem Of Destiny in Daphne's possession mean that Bloom couldn't see or speak to her big sister anymore? Honestly the thought scared her. Maybe, this was the feelings that Yugi himself experienced when Atem left him...what he thought was for good. "I wish I knew...what was the right thing to do..." the faerie confessed sadly before she felt someone place her hands on her shoulders. As Bloom looked up she saw it was Raeger's grandmother.

"...Granny Emiko..." Bloom murmured softly. "...What's the matter dearie?...You look so sad..." Raeger's grandmother asked the faerie softly. "Oh Granny...i'm so worried about Kaiba...and...about my sister Daphne...and the challenges ahead that we'll have to face...what if...I have to give up something...or someone...in order to bring Xuri back to us? I-I just don't know if I can make the right choice..." Bloom confessed as tears rimmed at her eyes. Granny Emiko gently held her in her arms."Bloom dear...you are a kind young woman with a gentle spirit and a brave heart...when the time comes...you must trust the gods to guide you in the midst of a storm...and above all else...never take your eyes of the light..."

Raeger's grandmother murmured softly before Bloom softly smiled through her tears. "Thanks Granny Emiko...i'll try and remember that..." the faerie told her and gently hugged her in return. "Good, now why don't you let me take over for the time being, your friends are all downstairs waiting for you." Raeger's grandmother murmured before Bloom eased herself off the bed. As she made her way down the hall, Bloom passed Nebula Queen of The Earth Faerie's in Bright's room. Inside she sat next to Xuri's lifeless body and gently ran her hand down the ice cold face. Even she couldn't hide her sorrow from the loss of Xuri as it took its toll on her.

"...Forgive me...for not being there to protect you...or your father..." Nebula choked out through her tears before he lifted him up and held him in her arms. "If only I had never been captured by Orgron and The Wizards...they took my wings...my powers...and now...i've lost my ..." the Queen of Faerie's couldn't even bring herself to say it. "After your father was killed...you were left all alone...treated with such cruelty...because of the blood that flows through your veins...I wanted to bring you back...to Earth with me in Tir-Nan-Og to live...but I couldn't until it was much too late...but I promise you this...I won't stop until those bastards pay for what they've done to you Xuri!"

Nebula swore before she placed him down back on the bed and used her powers to encase his body in blood crystal to protect and preserve it. Afterwards the Queen Of The Faerie's cried her last tear as she left the room and closed the door behind her. Bloom in front of her both faerie's made their way downstairs in the livingroom to join the others. The redhead's eyes wandered towards Nebula. Just from one glance she could tell that the Queen of Faerie's had been crying and Bloom couldn't help but wonder if it was because she saw Xuri. Come to think of it, the faerie did recall seeing Xuri when she visited Tir-Nan-Og with Roxy. Up until now she had completely forgotten about it. But for now, Bloom had to place such thoughts in the back of her mind so she could concentrate on the topic at hand.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, I just wanted to check on Seto and make sure he was ok before we got started." Bloom apologise to everyone before she took seat. Nebula however remained standing not uttering a single word. "So are we ready to get started?" the redhead questioned as she made a mental check of who all was present. "...Wait a second...where are Flora and Cupid?" Bloom questioned before Joey sweatdropped in response. "Uh...well they'll probably be awhile...whaddya say we's get started and just fill in da blanks fer um later, dat sound ok ta you's?" the blonde suggested. "Sounds good to me, so Draconia...first I guess we need to come up with a way to get all of us there..." Bloom began.

"Yeah...I think that's definitely the first problem we have to solve..." Yugi agreed. "Can we take any of the Gateways? Or will be need another means of transportation?" the scarlet eyed male questioned. "Unfortunately, the gateway to Draconia only connects to the mainland. It's a point where all of the lands that make up Draconia interconnect not only that, but that's also where the Draconian Council resides...it would be wise not to attract too much attention...they're only rumors...however there is talk going around about some of the members aligning themselves with the A.O.J..." Bright muttered in response.

"But, how da heck are we gonna be able ta visit all eight different lands without drawin da Elder Council's eyes? We'd have ta find some kinda way ta fly under dare radar...or somethin like dat at least...and ol Joey doesn't have any ideas..." Joey groaned as he scratched at his head in frustration. There was silence for but only a moment before Amourette finally spoke up. "Um...I might have an idea..." the blunette began. "When I was in my castle in Emerald...I came across a book that spoke of a temple that was built by the ancient dragons a long time ago in order to protect their lands...I think...it was called The Temple Of Elements...inside there are eight portal which each lead to The Firelands, Waterlands, Icelands, Thunderlands, Darklands, Skylands, and Prisimlands...but, they are all split apart so in order to obtain all of the flames we'd have no choice but to split up into groups..." Amourette continued.

"The Temple Of Elements is hidden inside of a place known as Dragon Tears Cavern...and it is protected by a powerful barrier that can only be removed by one of the Draconian Elders...even so...I believe we might be able to avoid it if we used a portal potion and added the water from Dragon Tears Cavern as the essence infused within the potion." Amourette concluded as Roxy made a face in response. "NOT AGAIN!" the faerie cried as she loathed the thought of going through that again. "Last time me and Bloom ended up in a pot of beef stew! And worse we SMELLED like it too!" Roxy exclaimed before Raeger pulled at the collar of his shirt. "I think that I might be able to reach out to one of my contacts in Draconia that could send us some of Dragon Tears Cavern's water so we would all end up in relatively the same location..." The Guild Master mulled over. "Have it your way but this time i'm NOT making it!" Roxy told him as Carlos groaned holding his head.

"UGH! Magical gateways...potions...temples...this is all a bit much for me..." Carlos groaned as he flopped onto the couch. "Well, I for one can't wait to get this show on the road, and the sooner the better! I'm just itching for a little excitement..." Seilina admitted afterwards before Carlos picked up one of the pillows and placed it over his head as the faerie only raised her brow in response. "Riiight...just wake me up when it's all over with Ok?" Carlos half joked as The Professor lit a cigarette before placing it in his mouth. Takuna inhaled deeply before he blew the smoke out in between his lips.

"This isn't a field trip Seilina...either you take this seriously or i'll have you stay behind in Covenant..." The Professor snapped irritably with dark circles under his eyes. It was obvious to everyone he hadn't been sleeping very well these past few days. Seilina only frowned as she sunk down in the couch after being scolded. "Ye-Yes Professor..." the faerie sheepishly replied before Akiba smiled and clapped his hands together in attempt to lighten the mood. "In that case I should get started on making lunches for everyone!" he exclaimed with a broad smile and headed towards the kitchen. Takuna twitched his eye as a result. "Tch...What did I just get finished saying?... "The Professor muttered before he took another hit off his cigarette. "It looks like Akiba's not listening..." Froste deadpanned.

"At least we'll finally get a chance to try our new powers more fully, ever since we got them we haven't really had to do much in the fighting department." Layla admitted. "With a few exceptions." Marik added in afterwards. Techna only smiled. "The good news is thanks to Yuki's assistance and with some much needed upgrades my phone is now able to detect any potential threats by sensing those with powerful auras nearby and not only that but we also installed a 3D or Three Dimensional digital compass, it's even water proof for safe measure." "Of course with the cellular device's new algorithm and updated code...not to mention the added benefits of using magitechnology and imbedding it inside the phone's circuits it will most likely be able to function about...pretty much anywhere..." Yuki echoed.

"Precisely!"Techna exclaimed as she gently leaned against the black haired male with a softened smile. Pit only scowled at the faerie in response. Poor Christy wasn't even paying attention the technical aspects of the conversation causing her head to spin. "I can see this is going to be A LOT of fun..." Musa sighed. The faerie of music could already see the jealousy storm raging in both Techna and Pit. Yuki caught right in the middle of it. And of course Stella as per usual Techna's not so secret crush didn't go unnoticed. "I Don't understand all of the complicated stuff, but hey as long as that thingamajig work then it's good enough for me!" the faerie of the moon and sun exclaimed.

"Now about that Portal Potion, you're telling me that WE'RE going to have to go into that cauldron from earlier...with all that icky...sticky...guck! UGH! Just WONDERFUL! Just what my flawless skin needs! Just add a smidgen of dried newt why don't you!?" Stella cried out in a huff as she crossed her arms. "Well...that IS how Portal Potions work i'm afraid..." Cellos remarked as he sweatdropped. "Oh yeah...nothing but fun...fun...fun..." Loore deadpanned from her spot on Yugi's lap, she then turned her head towards Duke as she watched him toss his game dice up and down into the palm of his right hand. "I'm also sick of just sitting around! I want to fight too! Isn't there some way of making that possible!?" the dice master questioned before Noah met Duke's gaze.

"Oh yeah, I did mention something about that didn't I...?" The mage murmured before she extended out her hand. "So come on hand um over." Noah urged before Duke tossed his black and white dotted dice over to her without hesitation. "Here catch!" the dice master exclaimed before the mage caught them in her hand during her first try. Afterwards she took a moment to examine them. "So...what are planning on doing to them anyway?" Duke questioned before Noah lifted up her hand and began to carve a magic crest into the dice. "I'm gonna engrave them with some runes...they'll replace the numbers on each side of the dice...and enable them to use elemental spells...less powerful than normally casted ones but, the more you use them their skills will increase along with yours." the mage told the dice master as she flipped his dice back into his hands. "CATCH!" Noah exclaimed before suddenly Duke's dice spontaneously.

"WOAH!" Duke cried out as he caught the dice before he began to toss them back and forth playing hot potato. "HOT! HOT HOT!" the dice master hissed nearly singeing his hands in the crossfire. "Whoops...I guess I added a little too much juice! Sorry about that!" Noah apologise as she laughed it off. Selina leaned over and with a single breath she blew out the flames. "Did anyone tell you that you're cute when you're angry?" the faerie asked before she giggled softly. Duke only made a face as cheeks burned red. Bloom couldn't help but laugh herself. "Good one Selina." the redhead smiled brightly. "Gee...thanks..." Duke muttered as he directed his gaze towards Noah before the mage returned it with a dangerous gleam in her eye. "...I'm sorry...I couldn't hear you...what was that?" Noah muttered as she conjured a sphere of energy into her hands ready to fire at any given moment.

"NOAH! PLEASE!" Raeger cried out. "I'd rather not have to fix my roof a second time!" the Guild Master exclaimed. "GAH! ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I'm sorry! I take it back!" Duke quickly retracted his statement before a smile manifested upon Noah's face. "Good...that's what I thought..." the mage murmured. Raeger let out a relieved sigh before Roxy giggled in response. Oritel clapped his hands together loudly. "THAT'S QUITE ENOUGH! Or have you all forgotten why we're here and it's certainly not to fool around, even when we are not engaged in combat we cannot allow ourselves to let our guard down!" the King Of Sparks exclaimed to attempt to redirect the party's focus as Oritel began to pace back and forth. After a moment he turned towards his daughter and looked her in the eyes. "Bloom, I believe it's time... to tell you about the true purpose of The Phoenix...the same one your older sister sought after..." the King Of Sparks told her."...The true Purpose Of The Phoenix...?" Bloom questioned before Oritel nodded. Slowly the door the cabin opened as Cupid and Flora quietly took a seat.

"That is correct...whilst collecting The Gems Of Destiny will allow you to seal away The Black Power for good, that is not the true purpose you must fulfill my daughter...the true goal of your journey is to find and collect what are known as The God's Legacies...ancient crystal tablets that have the god's power sealed within them...the power of Moon, Sun, Creation, and Death...the first three must be released from The Beyond so that the deities of times past may once again take upon them a living form"

"However,...you WILL require the fourth in order to defeat Death, the spirit of the deity whom has possessed Ryou, Bakura taking him as his chosen vessel...as for The Phoenix's tablet...only when you have it in your possession Bloom will your full power be returned to you as it was meant to be..." "Once all of the tablets have been found...then...and only then...will all of the worlds in the many universes will restored..." "What awaits you in Draconia is a mere shadow of what you shall encounter from this point on...ALL of you..." The King Of Sparks muttered. Bloom listened quietly as she tried to take everything in that she had been told. Aster stayed silent before he bit his bottom lip while Oritel spoke.

"Yeah...but it's a challenge WE are gonna HAVE to face...we have no other road to take but this one...and let's not forget...The Angels Of Justice are STILL searching for those objects containing The Black Power sealed within them..." Aster muttered before Cupid looked towards the amulet around his neck. Flora herself couldn't help but notice that there was something special about the amulet the redhead wore and wondered what it was exactly. "I agree with Aster. We've got to be prepared for anything that our enemies might throw at us..." Katori spoke up before she paused as Bloom removed herself from the couch. Her head was flooded with so many thought that she just couldn't think straight at the moment.

"Well, it's been a LONG day...so I think we should all get some much needed rest and start fresh tomorrow morning...I know I sure need it...night guys..." Bloom murmured before she left the living room without another word and headed right up the stairs. She still couldn't stop worrying about Kaiba. Just how long was he going to be in that condition? Hopefully everything was ok. Bloom didn't think she could handle anymore than what she was already having to deal with. All of the girls exchanged worried looks concerned about their best friend before the cabin door opened again Spice entering. She took a minute to catch her breath before the faerie closed the door. "I'M HERE!"the redhead huffed with a smile. Flora only giggled. "You're a little late for the meeting, but don't worry i'm sure the others can fill us in.

"SPICE! Well don't just stand there like a statue! Get on over here and pass out hugs!" Stella exclaimed as she practically knocked the faerie down. "Stella be careful!" Techna cried out. "This is such a nice surprise! Who knew we'd run into another faerie from Alfea here of all places!" Musa beamed. "I know! Isn't it wonderful!? We met at the restaurant in the middle of the city!" Flora exclaimed before everyone shared in a group hug. "Teehee! It's nice to see all of you too again!" Spice smiled warmly as Roxy approached the group of faerie's. "Uh...someone you know?..." the faerie of animals questioned. "You could say that." Layla giggled. "This is Spice. She attended Alfea the same year we did, we hung out a couple of times but she mostly spent time with Flora." the darkly skinned faerie explained.

Afterwards, Spice turned towards Roxy before the two changed a meet and greet along with everyone else nearby. Once they were finished most of the party decided to retire for the night including Spice. Luckily there was an empty spare bedroom that she could use. Flora however, was far too worried about Bloom to sleep such was her kind and caring nature. She wanted to do something to help. But, what exactly could she do? The faerie thought to herself before Joey let out a loud yawn.

"Wat gives Flo? Are ya not tired yet? Cuz I tells ya I am bushed..." the blonde murmured before Amourette turned towards Flora. "...Are you also worried about Bloom-Chan, Flora-Chan?" the blunette asked worried herself about the redhead. Flora only frowned. "Yes...poor Bloom...she must be SO worried about Kaiba...I can't even imagine what she's going through right now...oh how I wish I could do something to help..." the faerie confided in Amourette. Cupid paused as he thought for a minute. "Well...what about that Angel Tea...? After all we used it the last time Kaiba and Raeger came down with one hell of a nasty cold! Fixed um right up too!" the redhead suggested. Flora's eyes lit up and hugged Cupid filled with happiness in an instant.

"WHAT A GREAT IDEA!" the faerie beamed with a bright smile on her face. "Now... let me see...just what were those ingredients again?...Winter Rose Petals...um Angel Dust and...and...OH! That's right the crystalized water!" Flora exclaimed. "We have the rose petals...so we just need the last two to complete it." the faerie concluded. "Just leave that second one to me!" Cupid grinned before he revealed his angel wings made up of light. Gently Cupid began to flutter them to create a sparkling dust as Flora attempted to catch it using her magic. Accidently sending some angel dust towards Joey the blonde sneezed. "A-ACHOO!" Joey cried out before the dust also blew towards Amourette which caused her to sneeze as well. "Whoops sorry about that bad." Cupid sweatdropped as Flora collected just the right amount of sparkling dust.

"Now we just need crystalized water! I'm counting on you Amourette!" Flora exclaimed. "O-Oui!" the blunette managed to answer after another sneeze and summoned water droplets from her fingertips hardening them into a crystalized form. "Dats so frickin cool!" Joey grinned as he looked at his fingers. He wished he could summon stuff like that on command as well. Amourette only blushed as she smiled softly fidgeting with her fingers and giggled softly. "And with this we have all the ingredients we need! Amourette do you think you could give me a hand in the kitchen? I need more than just one pair of hands to prepare the tea to its maximum potential and potency." Flora asked the blunette. "Mhmm!" Amourette smiled and nodded in response before the faerie of nature took the blunette into the kitchen with her. Joey only laughed as he and Cupid watched Flora pulled Amourette along with her.

"So," Cupid began. "Did you find them? The most important person to you?" the redhead asked the blonde simply. Joey only paused before he cracked a smile. "Yeah, I did actually...but i'm not the only one am now am I?" the blonde mused. "...I'm glad...that Flo finally found someone dat could understand da storm dat raged in her heart...because of who ya are...she puts on her bravest face and smiles through da pain...but even so...you could see past it...she allows ya to see her at her weakest...when she needs your strangthe da most...dat sound about right?" Joey grinned broadly as Cupid paused as he listened to the very same words he had once spoken to Joey himself, when he was struggling with the storms of his own heart. But Cupid only smiled in return as he shook his head.

"No, You're wrong..." Cupid began softly. "It's the other way around..." the redhead murmured as Flora turned around and smiled at him sweetly from the kitchen. Cupid only winked with a smile in return. Amourette paused as she turned towards Flora. She tilted her head wonderful what she was looking at until she caught a glimpse of Joey who grinned catching her gaze. The blunette squeaked and turned around beat red. It was then she noticed the beautiful jeweled barrette in the faerie's hair. "Oh Flora-Chan you're barrette is so pretty...I love the butterfly..." Amourette complimented before Flora smiled in return. "Do you really think so?" "Mhmm!" the blunette nodded with a smile. "It really does suit you!" "Aw thank you...actually Cupid gave it to me as an early Christmas Present! I know! Let's try it on you just for fun!" the faerie exclaimed. Amourette only flailed her arms in response.

"U-Uh N-No! That's ok! You don't need to do something like that!" the blunette told Flora before the faerie removed it from her hair and placed it into Amorette's after taking off her pearl barrette. It was then the girls paused before they realized the water was beginning to boil over. "UH! THAT'S NOT GOOD!" Flora cried as she made a face. "I got it!" Amourette cried out and stretched out her hands using her powers to calm the water down before they both let out a sigh of relief. Neither of the girls could keep a straight face as they both burst out into laughter.

"Phew that was a close call." Flora admitted. "Yeah it was...so...should I add the petals in now?" Amourette questioned. "Yes we need to seep them like tea leaves." the faerie instructed as the blunette followed Flora's instructions before the faerie sprinkled the Angel Dust into the water afterwards. Gently Amourette leaned over and whispered in Flora's ear. "Um...so...have you given any thought as to what kind of present you're going to get Cupid-San in return?" the blunette questions. The faerie only frowned in response. "No, not at all...I wouldn't even have the slightest idea where to start! My specialty is flowers after all and i'm pretty sure Cupid is completely covered in that department since he can make flowers himself." Flora confessed with a soft sigh.

"Hmm..." Amourette murmured as she took a moment to think before something came to her. "OH!" the blunette exclaimed and ran off. "B-But Amourette!?" Flora questioned as she blinked a few times and followed her until the faerie stopped at the beginning of the stairway. Flora waited at the steps before Amourette came back with a bag out of breath. "H-Here...I bought this...for you...and...never...had a chance...to give it...to you..." the blunette huffed as she held out the gift bag trying to catch her breath. The faerie paused and gently took the bag from Amourette. "Oh Amourette you shouldn't have..." Flora murmured before she peered inside. Inside the bag was a few bundles of string. With the colors of red, green and white. The white lined with golden sparkles. Along with the yarn was a pair of knitting needles. Slowly the faerie looked back up at Amourette.

"Eheheh...I thought that we both could knit Christmas Scarves together..." Amourette told Flora who only smiled in return. "I'd like that, that would be fun! It would be something that we could share and help each other! Thank you Amourette it's a wonderful idea! I wonder if the others girls might want to join us. What do you think?" the faerie questioned. "I like it!" the blunette agreed as she clapped her hands in excitement. "But first we need to finish preparing the Angel Tea for Kaiba." Flora reminded Amourette before they both headed back towards the kitchen. Nearby,Joey seemed to be deep in thought himself.

"Careful if you think too much your brain might overload..." Cupid teased before the blonde made a face in response. "Oh haha very funny..." Joey struck out his tongue. "Seriously man, what's up?" the redhead questioned in return. "Meh...it's just...i'm drawin a blank for what ta get Amourette for da holidays...here we are gettin ready ta go on come wack adventure, da least I can do is find some kinda nice Christmas present fer her!" Joey groaned as he scratched at his head in frustration. "How da heck did ya know what ta get Flo?" the blonde asked Cupid.

"Oh that? Well I just pretty much thought about her interests...I knew she liked flowers but with flowers and nature also comes with various creature right? So when I gave it some thought I saw a jeweled butterfly clip and figured it would be perfect. Especially to bring out that pretty brown hair and those green eyes of hers. But most importantly you have to get Amourette something from the heart. It doesn't have to be anything too fancy, but a little bit of effort goes a long way." Cupid advised Joey. "She likes to cook right? So why don't you get her something to that effect...? "Hey, Raeger might be a good one to talk to now that I think about it." the redhead suggests."Worth a try anyways right?" Cupid grinned and slapped him playfully on the back.

"Oaf! Y-Yeah...right..." Joey coughed. "It'll work out don't worry." the redhead winked before he left to go upstairs himself. "...So...Raeger huh...I guess I can give it a shot..." the blonde let out a heavy sigh before Granny Emiko made her way over to him. "If you sigh too much you'll sigh all your happiness away dearie." Raeger's grandmother teased him softly as Joey nearly jumped out of his skin. "O-Oh it's just you Granny...ya scared meh..." the blonde admitted. The old woman only laughed softly in response. "What seems to be troubling you dear?" Granny Emiko asked Joey softly. "Ah Granny...I want ta get Amourette somethin present wise fer Christmas...but I dunno want she would even like..." the blonde confessed.

"Oh I see...well Amourette seems like a very simple girl to me...anything from you would probably light up her little face...but...as a fellow baker and cook perhaps she would enjoy a pretty cake plate or even a brand new apron so her clothes wouldn't get dirty...i'm certain she would prefer either one or the other." Raeger's Grandmother suggested. Joey paused before he grinned in return. "Hey! Dats an awesome idea! Tanks Granny!" the blonde exclaimed and gave Granny Emiko a hug in return as she laughed all the more. "Well, you're very welcome dearie." Raeger's grandmother smiled in Guild master only smiled as he watched from nearby before he returned to his study and sat down. Opening his drawer he picked out a piece of parchment and removed his quill from its holster. After Raeger dipped the quill in ink he began to place pen to paper.

"Let's see...Dear, Elder Hyyousuke...I Raeger The Guild Master of Covenant am writing this letter because, I have an immediate request that I need to have filled...The Phoenix and her party are required to journey to Draconia and its many lands...however...I fear if I open the gateway that those whom would seek to hinder our quest will do so to prevent us from reaching our goal...and that goal is The Secret Ancient Draconian Library hidden somewhere in Dragon's Tear Cavern...protected by a sacred barrier...as I am sure you well know...in order to cross and enter beyond the barrier...I am preparing a Portal Potion...however...I find myself in need of water from within the cavern itself in order to make this an successful endeavor...therefore...if you can obtain some on my behalf...I would owe you a great debt indeed...please let me know your answer as soon as you are able...Sincerely, Raeger Guild Master Of Covenant...

Raeger finished and grabbed an envelope. Carefully, The Guild Master placed the letter inside and then sealed it with Covenant seal. Afterwards, Raeger whistled after opening the window next to his desk. It took a moment before a snow owl arrived and perched upon the window's edge just as Roxy walked inside of The Guild Master's study. The faerie of animals smiled as she recognized the owl immediately. "Well hello there, so we meet again." Roxy smiled and walked over to the owl. The faerie closed her fist for a moment before she opened it up manifesting owl treats in the palm of her hand. The owl seeing the treat was filled with excitement and took off from the window towards Roxy to dine on its reward.

"AHHHH!" Roxy cried out as she nearly fell over as the owl launched itself at her and latched onto the faerie's arm. Afterwards it began to snack on the treats clustered in Roxy's hand. "There we go...that's a good girl..." the faerie smiled as she gently stroked the owl. "Huh...well that's certainly an interesting trick." Raeger admitted. "Isn't it? I noticed Spice was able to conjure up sweets and I decided to see if I could do a similar trick with pet treats. And it looks like it worked!" Roxy beamed happily. The Guild Master smiled in return. "Well, i'd have to say so and it looks like our feathery friend agrees." Raeger admitted. It's then the faerie noticed the letter on The Guilds Master's desk.

"Is that the letter you're sending to your contact in Draconia?" Roxy questioned. "Why, yes it is Roxy. Once I send it I should be able to get in touch with him fairly soon...or at least i'm hoping to anyways...although I would be lying if I didn't say that I was worried..." The Guild Master admitted. "About what?" the faerie questioned. "...Well...Draconia's situation...in particular the disturbing rumors about the A.O.J aligning with some of the members of the Elder council..." Raeger confessed. "I noticed that Hyyousuke one of the Elder's of Draconia didn't even bother showing up to the Summit...most likely due to the fact that doing so wouldn't have done any good...or the fact they were caught up in some trouble of their own...the girls and you probably aren't aware of this but Spice is Hyyousuke's underling from Draconia...meaning if he's sent her here then chances are something is going down...a rather troubling development..." "Wait a sec...Spice is a faerie from The Sealed Worlds?" Roxy questioned taken back. "There are actual faerie's here too?" Raeger only nodded in response.

"That's correct, they live in Draconia with the Dragons and can amplify their powers making them useful to have. Hyyousuke despite his personality is quite insightful...I wouldn't surprise me if he sent Spice to Magix to attend Alfea in case a time came for a union between both Universes in order to defeat the enemies that threaten ALL of us..." The Guild Master murmured. "Then I bet Miss Faragonda knew about it too, after all her son,I mean The Professor is also here traveling between worlds! Wow...why do I have this queasy feeling things just got A LOT more complicated..." Roxy sighed heavily. "That's why this letter is important and I need to send it straight away." Raeger told the faerie and gave it to the owl once he was done snacking. "Please deliver this as quickly as you can." The Guild Master instructed the owl before he sent it flying out of the opened window.

"I gotta say that i'm a little nervous traveling to a world full of Dragons but at the same time i'm excited at the fact that I might actually get the chance to bond and connect with a dragon. With my new Celestix powers i'm more attune to even mythical creatures of legend now." Roxy admitted. "Yeah, I can relate i'm not used to traveling far outside Covenant either...but even so i'm glad i'm getting to share this particular experience with you." Raeger smiled. "I am too." the faerie smiled as she placed her hand on his warmly lacing their fingers together. "Although...i'm really worried about Bloom." Roxy confessed. The Guild Master only frowned softly.

"Has Kaiba's condition improved any?" "I don't know. But I could tell that during the whole time we were talking she could barely concentrate. I think I overheard something about Flora and Amourette trying to brew up what they called Angel Tea...in order to help Kaiba recover faster." the faerie added in. "I see, well only time will tell unfortunately. It's too soon to make any kind of determination, but he and Bloom are strong...i'm certain given time he'll be just fine and Bloom as well." Raeger assured Roxy before the faerie smiled and hugged him. "You always know just what to say. Thanks, I feel alot better now..." Roxy murmured.

"That's good, I worry when I don't see you smiling. By the way, I have something special I want to give to you." The Guild Master spoke up as the faerie's eyes widened in surprise. "Something...for me?" Roxy questioned as she watched Raeger riffle through his drawer for a bit. Inside the drawer was a beautiful pipe colored dark blue with the design of golden leaves upon them. But, as The Guild Master attempted to grab it, the pipe kept rolling from one side to the next to an attempt to avoid him. "...Uh...just...a moment..." Raeger murmured. He found himself continuously grabbing at the air until with a swift motion of his hand he finally managed to grab it. "Got it!" The Guild master exclaimed. Roxy however only raised her brow.

"All that trouble...for a pipe...? No offense Raeger...but what exactly would I use a pipe for? Although it's design is very pretty." the faerie murmured. "Ah, but it's not just ANY pipe, this is a VERY special pipe and a bit strong...willed..." The Guild Master muttered as he felt the pipe try and jerk out of his hand. "OH NO YOU DON'T!" Raeger exclaimed before he popped off the top of the pipe. Suddenly something white and fuzzy escaped from the other end. A sound of bells chiming followed it. "WAHHH!" Roxy cried out as she jumped backwards startled nearly falling as she did so. "W-What is that!?"the faerie questioned before a fuzzy white dragon no bigger than the size of Raeger's palm emerged with light blue highlights mixed in with its fur. A speck of blue right above its nose. Small light blue wings on its back. Its chirp sounding like tiny chiming bells.

"It's what we call in this world a Pipe Dragon. They're a very rare species. This one's element is ice. I got this little one a while back as a gift from Hyousuke when I helped him with a special favor. In return he gave me this pipe dragon. But, I want you to have him Roxy. I couldn't think of anything to give you for a Christmas present until I remembered that I had kept it for safekeeping, something tells me he would be alot happier in your care." Raeger told the faerie before the pipe dragon traveled from The Guild Master's palm to Roxy's neck snuggly wrapping around it. Letting out a softened chime of happiness. The faerie giggled feeling its soft fur around her neck.

"Hey that tickles...ok I love you too." Roxy smiled and patted his head gently. "Thank you Raeger! It's a WONDERFUL present! I think i'll call him...Noel...to ALWAYS remember how special this day was..."the faerie of animals murmured before Noel chimed loudly in approval. Raeger only smiled in return chuckling softly. "Well, he certainly seems to like you. I'm glad I was able to give you something you can enjoy...I realized that the more I thought about it...I couldn't just give you just anything...I wanted it to be special...to show you just how much you mean to me Roxy...I love you...I'm just sorry that it took me so long to finally say it..." The Guild Master murmured. "Oh Raeger...I love you too..." Roxy confessed as she warmly embraced him. Raeger smiled in return as he he wrapped her arms around her as well.

Bloom smiled as she watched from her cracked door. "Awww...i'm so happy for Roxy..." the redhead murmured before she noticed Kaiba slowly sit up and quickly turned around as she hurried over to him. "Seto!" Bloom cried out as the CEO hissed in pain as he struggled to move. His body felt feverish and every single part of him felt like he had been struck over and over again by a truck. Breathing didn't come easy either. The faerie helped support Kaiba by rearranging his pillows to allow him to sit upright. "Ugh...i'm sorry you have to...see me like this..." the blue eyed male muttered through the pain coursing through him. "I must look like pathetic weakling..." Kaiba grumbled but Bloom only shook her head.

"Nonsense...when I was sick and didn't have the power to fight...you were there for me every step of the way...and now i'm here for you too...whatever you need..." Bloom promised him. "...Thanks..." Kaiba replied before he coughed for a bit. Suddenly a knock came from the cracked door. "Oh no..." the CEO groaned before Flora slowly entered the room with a cup of hot tea its steam rising into the air. "I brought Kaiba some Angel Tea that I made with Amourette's help. Since it worked for Raeger's and Kaiba's cold last time I think it should help him recover faster." Flora told Bloom before the redhead took it from Flora and smiled in gratitude. "Thanks Flora...this means a lot...be sure to thank Amourette for me too." Bloom smiled brightly.

"Of course, i'm glad that we can help. Since I only came upstairs to bring you the tea I think i'll go on and go to bed, it's been a LONG day. I'll see you tomorrow. Sweet dreams." Flora bidded them goodnight before she left the room. Afterwards Bloom turned towards Kaiba. "Here...try to drink this...but be careful...it's hot..." the faerie murmured before she tried to help the CEO sip the tea the best she could. Next the door of Kaiba's room Selina watched as Flora left and made her way to her own room. The faerie couldn't help but to sigh. She hated to admit but, there seemed to be this gap in between in her and Bloom now that almost seemed impossible to cross. Ever since she left to go to Alfea she seemed to have made all of these new friends and was interested in new things. It made Seilina feel lonely and a bit sad.

Slowly Selina made her way to her own room and sat on the bed before she conjured up the Moon Crystal Puzzle Box that she had found back when she wandered off on her own in Alfea's Magix Museum. "...I wonder what exactly this thing is supposed to be?...It just appeared out of nowhere when those spirits were attacking me from that blood seal down in the dark corridor...Just who exactly is this Child Of The Stars? Could that voice...have been...referring to me...?" Seilina questioned as she ran her index finger across her bottom lip as the faerie found herself in deep thought. Come to think of it. Just where exactly DID she get her powers from? That was still a mystery she wasn't able to solve. And The Professor hadn't brought it up either since she moved from Domino City to Gardenia and came to live with him.

"If I had a power like Celestix then maybe I could actually fight beside Bloom, and things could be like they used to again..." Selina murmured softly. "...I wonder if I could activate it with some kind of magic touch..." the faerie surmised and raised her hand directing a shot of magic as the Moon Crystal Puzzle Box. As soon as the magic hit the Moon Crystal Puzzle it began to light up illuminating the entire room. "Woah..." Selina exclaimed as her eyes widened her mouth hung open. Slowly the box began to open. And from its rays of light, it seemed to reveal a map of some kind written in the stars.

Before it started to fade away the faerie quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a pen before Selina wrote down the image before her. Left in its place was a glowing teal shard floating in its center. A pocket watch appeared with both The Moon and The Sun on it the shard disappearing inside of it. Gently it floated into her hands. Upon moonlight shining through the window music from the watch began to play softly. A beautiful melody. For some reason Selina felt as if she recognized it. "What a beautiful melody..." Musa murmured as she slowly approached Selina. The faerie jumped slightly startled causing her to nearly drop it.

"O-Oh Musa, y-you startled me..." Selina murmured. "Oh, i'm sorry Selina! But when I was in my room I suddenly heard this beautiful music...and the words began to pour into me without ever having heard the song before! I just had to figure out where that wonderful melody was coming from..." Musa confessed as she eyed the Sun and Moon watch. "I-I see...I think it came from this...it started playing when the moonlight hit it...but i'm not even sure why or how." Selina confessed to Musa. "...I think I can make out the words...keep playing it..." "Uh ok...sure..." the blonde responded before the faerie of music softly began to sing.

Fates Intertwined...

Woven Through The Fabric Of Time...

Shattered Like Glass

How Long Is A Heart Expected

To Last...

With Each Breath Taken

My Soul Is Shaken

By The Shadows Choking Me Tonight

I Cry Out For The Morning Light

But Darkness Is All That Is Within

My Sight...

Golden Tears Break The Chains Of Time...

Dispelling The Darkness

Contained In Your Mind...

Don't Run Away...

Don't Give Up The Fight, Rise Up Now...

And Use The Power Of Light...

Musa sung to Selina as she listened to her. "It sounds similar to a song my mom used to sing to me...she told me that it was a song of protection..and that those who sang it were guarded against the darkness or other evil forces...for only when the voice sings from the heart can the true power of the song break through the shadows..." the faerie of Music told Selina. "Well I better be getting on to bed. Thanks for letting me stop by, I hope you'll let me hear it again sometime." Musa offered Selina a smile. "Not a problem, have a goodnight. Don't let the nightmare gargoyle bite." the faerie teased. "Very funny..." Musa laughed dryly before she bumped into Carlos. "Oaf!" they both cried before they looked up at each other."Oh my goodness, i'm so sorry. I should've been watching where I was going." the faerie apologised.

"No worries, it's cool. I wasn't exactly paying attention either. I was in my room listening to some music but then I heard this incredible singing so I was walking around trying to figure out where exactly it was coming from." Carlos explained. "O-Oh...that was me...actually..." Musa confessed as a hint of blush tinted her face. "O-Oh..." the mexican squeaked as his own face became a little flushed. "S-So you listen to music too huh? Any particular kind you like over the other?" the faerie questioned. "Oh yeah, I LOVE to listen to music when i'm working on my drawings! In particular?...Well I like punk, techno, alternative mostly oh and rock is pretty cool too." Carlos admitted. "I always enjoyed whenever i'd work at the frutti music bar when Andy and his band would get up on state to play. Although I can't play an instrument to save my life." the mexican laughed.

"Oh you know Andy and the gang too? When me and the girls were on Earth I got up on stage and sung a few times with them, it was always so much fun! The smoothies were really good too. But I was going through alot at the time and the music helped me when I needed it the most, well with my friends too of course." Musa told Carlos. "Music does help when you're down or when you need something to help sort a heap of emotional stuff." he agreed with her. "Annnd if you ever need to talk you can always come to me, I always have one ear un occupied." Carlos half joked before Musa giggled in return. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind. But for now I think i'm just going to hit the bed. It was nice talking to you though." "Yeah you too Musa. Nighty nite." he smiled before she walked past him.

"Smooth very smooth." Selina teased Carlos as he made a face. "Oh be quiet!" he cried out as his cheeks turned red and grabbed a pillow after he walked into her room and chucked it at her. Musa giggled more as she grabbed the door's handle to her room watching from nearby. Afterwards, she entered the room she was sharing with Techna. "Well someone's in a good mood." Techna pointed out as she tinkered with her phone digitally accessing the Magical Archive. "I have no idea what you're talking about." Musa remarked in exchange. "Really? It sure didn't seem like nothing to me...in fact from that look on your face in the hallway just, now i'd say there's roughly a 45% chance out on 100 Percent that, that smile has to do something with a certain somebody with black hair wearing a yellow hoodie." the faerie of technology teased.

"So? Me and Carlos both like music so what? Can't I just have a conversation with a guy without you guys beginning to make all these crazy assumption?" Musa questioned. "Normally yes, but where I come displaying symptoms of idiopathic craniofacial erythema is considered an abnormal anomaly unless the female or male has a strong attraction to another. It is a common occurrence it's nothing to be ashamed of. I don't see why you feel the need to hide it." Techna told Musa. "idiopathic what now?" the faerie questioned completely lost. "Blushing, Musa. You were blushing when Carlos mentioned that he really liked your voice." she translated. "Oh, now that I understand." Musa giggled.

"So? DO you like Carlos? You can tell me, I won't say anything." Techna questioned as she leaned against the pillow on her bed. "Uh well...he is really cute...and I like the fact he seems to enjoy music almost as such as I do...oh and my voice...which is really nice...but it's too soon to really say how I feel...i'll probably give it some more time before I decide if I like him...but enough about me...what about you Techna? Just how do you feel about Yuki hmm?" Musa asked in return. "O-Oh...Yuki...uh..." Techna paused as her own face reddened. "...Well...I definitely like him...he's smart, got a great eye for detail and he's very advanced in both technology and magic...despite his appetite for sweets...I believe that we're definitely compatible...the problem is...that I don't like i'm the only one who's interested in him...and i've never been all that great with any sort of confrontation..." Techna let out a soft sigh.

"You're referring to Pit aren't you? Yes, he definitely seemed like he wasn't too happy when you started pressing up against him now was he?" Musa admitted. "I wonder what the story of those two is anyways...after all Christy seems to really like Pit but I don't think he quite likes her in the same way she does him. "I'm at a loss as what to do honestly Musa...it was hard enough with Timmy...trying to show my true emotions...and speaking of the guys have you heard anything from Riven or the others?" Techna questioned Musa whom only shook her head. "No, not a word...Stella hasn't mentioned anything about Brandon either...and unfortunately Techna...i'm not holding out much hope...Undine was right...we live in a different world now...and so do they..." Musa frowned sadly.

"Maybe you're right...maybe it is time to move on...like Bloom and Flora did...even Stella seems to taking in consideration the same exact thing...Cellos and Stella are practically identical in their playful and mischievous nature." Tecna confessed. "But, Musa even if that is true my strangthe has always been discussing technology...despite Yuki's technological prowess I don't think he's exactly a walking computer...how do I even begin to acquire the evidence I need in order to confirm that he's even interested in me?" the faerie of technology questioned. Musa only smiled. "I think you're overthinking it...what are you working on right now?" the faerie of music questioned.

"Oh this? Currently i'm trying to do some research in regards to Draconia of The Sealed Worlds and the various types of Dragons. Strengths, weaknesses, different types of elements...and the lands in which Draconia is split up. So i've combined the Magix Archive with Covenant's Guild to cross reference anything we might need. But since i'm not as familiar with Covenant's, i'm finding it difficult to find resources that will direct our focus in the right direction." Techna explained to Musa. "That's easy enough, just go to Yuki's room and ask him for his help. Simple!" the faerie of music exclaimed.

"That's actually not a bad idea, thanks Musa I think i'll try that, maybe by tomorrow morning we'll actually have everything up and running!" Techna smiled before she got up and left the room. Musa only smiled as she put on her head phones and flopped on the bed next to her. After Techna left her room she made her way downstairs only to find Yuki in the living room. He was sitting in the dark with only his computer screen as a source of light. Around his computer on the table were various cookies and some leftover pumpkin pie complete with a cup of coffee. The blacked haired male placed a stocking shaped sugar cookie in his mouth before he paused and turned to see Techna standing by the couch.

"Oh...I wasn't aware anyone was still awake." Yuki murmured as he took a bite of the cookie. "I hope I wasn't being too terribly noisy...I tend to work best at night so I normally use my computer around this time...and this way I don't disturb anyone...or I try not to anyways...we'll just keep it at that..." the black haired male murmured as he picked up his cup of coffee taking a sip of it. "Oh no, i'm not down here because of the noise or anything, I actually have been working on a project other than the one we had been messing with but I'm having a difficult time with it. So, I was hoping that maybe together we could figure it out. You know what they say, two brain are better than one." Techna found herself stuttering. Yuki placed his cup of coffee down before he turned back towards the faerie.

"I see...well i'll help if I can...I too am actually working on a little something myself..." Yuki informed Techna. "Oh really? What it is? Maybe I can assist you as well." Techna inquired. "...I was looking over this scroll for Marik...since he requested I do so...the only problem is...i'm not getting anything conclusive in regards to results...he claims that its a powerful object...but honestly...I just don't see how...i've tried various methods to analyze it..." Yuki explained with a sigh. "...Wait a second...i've also analyzed this same scroll...unfortunately I got the same results as you did...which makes me believe...that the scroll supposedly in Marik's possession has to be a-" "Forgery" both Yuki and Techna both exclaimed at the same time.

"...Precisely...I suppose I have no choice but to inform him that this is most certainly NOT one of The Blood Scrolls...he's been deceived...if this was actually in his family's collection..." Yuki let out a heavy sigh. "Unless of course the real one was stolen from them, and they replaced it with the forgery." Techna remarked. "Well, that was solved rather quickly...so...what is that you're working on Techna?" the black haired male questioned. "Oh, actually I was trying to combine the Magical Archive in Magix to Covenant's Mage's Guild Library in order to gather information about Draconia and dragons in general...along with possible info about the various lands we're going to more than likely encounter...but I am having a difficult time locating the necessary resources in order to do so because I am not very familiar with Covenant's Archive despite Raeger giving me full access." the faerie explained before Yuki looked over her projection from her phone.

"I see your point...but you're looking in the wrong section here...rather than just placing your focus on Draconia and Dragon's...you need to look up the one about creatures and beasts...along with the section that refers to the ancient temples...the book of Elements I believe will also prove useful...don't overlook old tomes and scrolls...although they may be ancient they often have useful and vast information..." Yuki told Techna. "Right. I'll make a mental note of that." Techna told him with a soft smile. Nearby Mark paused as his foot was above the final step to staircase.

{...The Scroll was a fake?...The one that was said to have been passed down and guarded by my family for generations...but if that is indeed so...then where in Pharoah's name is the REAL one!? I must get in contact with Ishizu at once! Along with the Pharoah's secret we were to protect that scroll at all costs! That can only mean someone broke in and stole it...however...even Bakura didn't know that the one in my possession wasn't the real thing...who then? Who entered the Pharoah's tomb without either my sister's or my knowledge!?} Marik questioned before the tombkeeper felt a hand on his shoulder and lashed out at whoever was behind it.

"Woah!" Layla cried out she quickly dodged Marik's swift hand and fell on her ass on the steps behind her. "Oh, Layla it's you. I apologize, you caught me off guard and I reacted rather aggressively..." the tombkeeper apologised before he held out his hand to the darkly skinned faerie. "That's alright. It was my fault for grabbing you so suddenly." Layla apologised in return as she took his hand before Marik helped her up to her feet once more. Upon seeing the tomb keeper's face however the darkly skinned faerie frowned softly. "...You seem worried...is everything ok...?" Layla asked Marik concerned as she gently touched his arm. The tomb keeper only twisted his mouth. "I wish I could say it were..." he let out a sigh."What's wrong? Did something happen?" Layla asked in return. "...Apparently...The Blood Scroll that we've been trying to decipher has been a forgery this entire time..." Marik muttered before the darkly skinned faerie gasped in surprise. "Are you serious? Then all that effort we tried to put into that thing has all been for nothing?" Layla questioned upset.

" I'm afraid so...but there is something that troubles me even further...and that is the fact that The Blood Scrolls authenticity was verified by my ancestors...which leads me to believe unfortunately...that someone at some point made off with the real one and replaced it with something that is only made to resemble it...they even went through the trouble of imbuing it with Blood Magic in order to fool us...so the question remains...how did they enter The Pharoah's Tomb without mine or my sister's knowledge...and why did they go through so much effort to conceal their tracks...I want to know..." Marik hissed angrily.

"As do I. They sound too dangerous to be in just anyone's hands...especially the wrong ones..." Layla muttered in agreement. "My points exactly...i'm going to have to leave The Sealed Worlds and return to Earth to speak with my sister Ishizu the other guardian of The Pharoah's Tomb..." Marik told the darkly skinned faerie. "...Then i'm going with you...with my Celestix power I can cross between dimensions and worlds...and if there is something going down then i'm going figure out exactly what." Layla exclaimed. The tomb keeper only let out a heavy sigh. "Very well, then i'd prefer if we left now...the sooner I speak with my sister the better..." Marik told her. "You got it! WINX CELESTIX!" the darkly skinned faerie cried out before she began to transform.

"Like The Brightest, Star We're Shining"

"As The World's Revolvin"

"Out In Space, We're Gonna Be Rockin"

"Look How Far We're Flyin!"

"It's A Dream Worth Findin"

"Look Up Now! Here I'm Commin!"

"Celestix...Celestix..."

Layla used her stardust to create a portal that would lead them right to Egypt. "Last one in is a rotten egg!" the darkly skinned faerie teased as she flew in the portal before Marik followed her. Once they both entered the portal closed behind them. Yugi came around the corner as he heard some noise that appeared to be coming from the hallway. "Huh...well whatever it was I was hearing I guess it's gone now..." the scarlet eyed male murmured softly and returned to his room. Normally silence didn't bother him but Atem hadn't said a word since their discussion downstairs about Draconia. The Pharaoh seemed to be in his own little world. If only there was a way he could speak to Daphne directly, maybe he could find some way to help him. For some reason or another the Pharaoh seemed extremely perplexed. Yugi jumped slightly as Loore pounced on his stomach abruptly. His own thought process interrupted.

It was then the scarlet eyed male paused as an idea struck him. Maybe Loore could tell him what it was he needed to know. She was his familiar after all , she was bound to have a palitra of information in regards to The Pharaoh. "Loore...can I ask you for a favor?" Yugi questioned. Loore only twitched her whiskers in response. "Hmmm well if you only want to ask." the familiar mused. "Ok then...i'd like you to tell me about Atem and Daphne ..." the scarlet eyed male began.

"You used to live with the Pharaoh i'm assuming back then correct? You see...I only know a little bit about their history together from what Atem has personally shared with me...and for some reason he seem extremely troubled by Bloom's sister's suggestion of finding The Gem Of Destiny in Daphne's possession...especially when it involves using it to resurrect Xuri for Bright's sake...more specifically..." Yugi confided in Loore.

"All I really understand is that Daphne and Atem were to be married for political reasons...in order to join both Magix and Earth together...as a gift Daphne created The Millennium Items with the power of The Dragon Fire...and within it was The Creator Of Light that defeated Zorc whom was summoned by The Wizards Of The Black Circle...along with the fact that Kaiba in his past life was Bloom's protector when she was a baby..." the scarlet eyed male continued.

"Other than that...I wasn't told anything else...except that for some reason Atem sealed himself with The Millennium Puzzle to punish himself for failing to save Daphne...as to why she is still in this world and not the next...Undine told us herself that Daphne placed all of her remaining power and spirit into A Gem Of Destiny...and that she was The Phoenix before Bloom...so I ask of you Loore...please tell me...if you know anything at all...just what exactly happened all those years ago...between Daphne and The Pharaoh?! Did it truly bring about the era of The Shadow Games...and the enemies we now face with it...?"

Yugi asked Loore as he looked directly into her emerald eyes and her into his scarlet ones. For a moment a silence passed between them. "...Do you want to hear the truth...? Cuz it ain't no bedtime story...I should know I lived it...and for someone like you kid...a lot of it won't be by any means easy to hear...especially considering how you feel about Atem...there's a reason they say leave the past in the past where it belongs...learning about it won't change how things played out...or the decisions that both The Nymph Of Magix and The Pharaoh choose to make..." the familiar warned. Yugi remained silent before he bit at his lower lip.

"...I understand...but I still have to know...it's because that I have such strong feelings for Atem...that I won't to be able to understand and share his pain...even if he loved someone before me...I can accept that...because...his past...and Daphne's past...led him to me...and Bloom..." Yugi told Loore."If you're sure...then I will tell you the tale...of two star crossed lovers...that sacrificed everything...in order to protect the world...from an evil beyond mere imagination...the birth of a child...and the darkness that gave rise to The Angels Of Justice..." she began.
