Chapter 116: "The Roar Of The Dragon" Part 1

"...If you're sure...then I will tell you the tale...of two star crossed lovers...that sacrificed everything in order to protect the worlds...from an evil beyond mere imagination...the birth of a child...and the darkness that gave rise to the Angels Of Justice..." Loore began as Yugi swallowed hard. Finally, everything would become clear. "Continue..." the scarlet eyed male encouraged the familiar before Atem's voice's broke through the silence. {Yugi...I} Yugi paused for moment hearing The Pharoah's voice only to be drowned out by a loud knock at the door. "A Visitor at this hour?" the scarlet eyed male questioned. "U-Uh...who is it?" Yugi struggled to answer before the door slowly pried out as Professor Takuna peered through the crack.

"Professor Takuna?" Yugi questioned before The Professor opened his mouth. "Would you mind if I had a word with you alone for a bit?" Takuna questioned him as he motioned for Yugi to follow him with his hand. "Um...ok sure...I guess..." the scarlet eyed male answered sheepishly. Slowly he removed himself from the bed and followed The Professor into the room a few doors down from him. Once they were inside Takuna closed the door and locked it. Quietly Yugi took a seat on the edge of the bed as The Professor poured them two cups of coffee and offered one of the mugs to the scarlet eyed male.

"Here, drink this it's one of my favorite blends." Takuna mused before Yugi carefully reached out and grasped the cup. "Ok, thank you." the scarlet eyed male murmured softly a silence passing between them as they sat in the darkened room. The Professor wasted no time in taking a sip from his own mug. Afterwards he placed it aside and looked towards Yugi. "...So...you...wanted to speak with me?" he questioned as his eyes drifted towards Takuna. Although he was doing his best not to show it, The Professor in comparison to him was actually pretty intimidating to him. And he grew even more nervous with every passing second.

"That's right." Takuna finally answered. Yugi only twisted his mouth some. "Alright...I get that...but what I don't understand is why...I mean from the way the girls were speaking...we come from two separate worlds...or technically three separate worlds...so what is it you could possible want from me? And Why all the secrecy?" he questioned the Professor. Takuna remained quiet for a moment before he opened his mouth to speak. "...I overheard your conversation with Loore about The Pharoah's past..." The Professor admitted to Yugi taking him back. "...You...did...?" the scarlet eyed male questioned in surprise.

"Yeah...somewhat...so, answer me this...why is it you seek this knowledge?" Takuna inquired as Yugi only clutched at the chain connected to his puzzle. "...Honestly...?" he began. "I'm worried...recent events have caused...Atem to...become so distant...and silent...i-it's as if he's in deep thought...unable to break free from its grip...and i've got a sneaking suspision that it's got something to do with Daphne Bloom's Sister...somehow whatever is going on right at this moment is linked between what occured between The Pharoah and Daphne in the past..." Yugi murmured as The Professor continued to listen silently lighting a cigarette. The flicker of the burning embers lighting up the shadows looming over them.

"Back when Atem was The Pharoah Of Egypt And Daphne The Phoenix And Nymph Of Magixs...something happened that resulted in both of them losing their lives...one which involved a great evil...you asked me why I wanted to know the events of the past? Well it's because I hoped that by learning about it that not only could I be able to support Atem in this difficult and trying time...but also perhaps understand the trials that lay ahead, just in case the events of the past play out once again as they did so long ago...I thought that since Loore is The Pharoah's familar that I could learn all I needed to from her...about Atem and his past..." "...So...That's my answer..." Yugi explained to Takuna. Slowly The Professor removed his cigarette from his mouth blowing the smoke in between his lips.

"But, will knowing the past really change anything the way things stand now?" Takuna mused as Yugi recalled Loore asking him the same questioned earlier. The scarlet haired male mulled over the answer before The Professor began to speak. "Believe it or not...i've seen and learned many things over the years...several of which you'd hardly consider pleasant expirences...however...I can say this...Knowledge only grants you but so much...if you spend all your time all your time looking backwards...you'll never see what lies ahead...I urge you to remember that...{I Wish I Had...}" Takuna thought silently to himself. But Yugi only frowned in response.

"I understand what you're trying to say...but I don't know how i'm supposed to just stand by while Atem is obviously suffering! You're basically telling me to give up and accept it! And that I can't possibly accept!" Yugi cried out in frustration. The Professor only let out a heavy sigh. "Listen...EVERYONE from time to time needs some space to think and sort through their feelings and emotions...Atem isn't any diffrent when it comes to expirencing those same difficulties like You or I..." Takuna informed Yugi whom only gripped at his puzzle tighter.

"How? How can I help him then? To let him know he's not dealing with this all by himself...? I mean...he...he won't even so much as talk to me?..." The scarlet eyed male questioned as his whole body trembled with fear and uncertainty. Slowly The Professor removed his cigarette and smothered it in the ash tray next to him before he approached Yugi. Gently Yugi felt his warm hands touch his shoulders before the scarlet eyed male looked up at him. "How about Trusting him?" Takuna's words echoing into Yugi's ears striking at his heart. "Trust him...and believe that when Atem is ready...he will tell you..." The Professor continues before the scarlet eyed male hung his head in defeat.

{...The answer was so simple...but even so I couldn't find it...I forgot about the most important part of the bond that Atem and I share...our trust in each other...perhaps Atem isn't the problem...maybe its me...} Yugi thought to himself softly closing his eyes as a frown manifested upon his face continuing to hold his puzzle. There he sat contimplating his own actions until Takuna's voice pulled him out of his thoughts. "You Heard What Oritel Said About Draconia And The Trials..." The Professor begins. "Physical strengthe nor Magical ability will alone be enough to overcome the rigorous tests ahead...in order to suceed...it is imperitive that you learn to also fight with your mind..."

Takuna told Yugi. A concept both he and Atem were very familar with considering everything they went through to get here. "I know you've heard it once before...but you and the others will face trials like nothing you've ever come up against...trials that will put all of your Mind, Heart, Body and Soul to the test..." The Professor begins. "Fears, Desires, Your Past, Your Present, the scars left behind...shadows and illusions lerking around in the dark in attempts to temp or confuse you...that is precisely the very reason that they must have complete faith and trust in one another...for it won't only be you facing the trial..." Takuna warns before Yugi looks down at his puzzle.

"But, I'm sure you're getting tired of being lectured by me...why don't you go on back to your room and get some rest...for tomorrow comes soon..." The Professor concluded and unlocked the door before opening it. "You're right, well then...goodnight..." Yugi murmured and eased himself up from the bed making his way to the door. Just as the scarlet eyed male entered the door way he paused and turned around for a brief moment. Its odd but Yugi can't help but get this feeling that in his own way, Takuna was actually trying to help him. "...It's just...before I go...I just wanted to say...thank you...Professor..." he murmured softly and bowed before he departed to return to his room. Akiba nearby watched as Yugi passed him and smiled casually walking over to him.

"You have such a soft spot Taku-Kun." Akiba teased Takuna softly. "I wonder just as to what you could be referring to...? All I can say is this...Yugi-Kun needs to understand that Atem's concern does not in fact lie with HIS past but with the past Yugi-Kun himself is unaware of...a past that he will eventually have to face...but doing so could break him..." The Professor told Akiba. "It is Yugi-kun The Pharoah is agonizing over, and his failure to protect his past love. It's obvious without words, Atem fears the same thing could happen yet again...that is why he cannot find the words to say to him." Takuna muttered.

"How can he possibly say to Yugi, "I'm Frightened That I Will Lose You To The Darkness That Took My Own Life To Defeat It, Along with Bloom's Sister. If I Have, No Life To Give You. I Do Not Want You As A Result To Give Me Yours." The Professor continued. "Xuri's loss, has taken a greater toll on Atem than it seems...as his own deep regret is reflected in Bright...or do you not see the resemblence?" The Professor questioned Akiba.

Back In Yugi's room the scarlet eyed male laid on his bed with Loore curled up on his pillow fast asleep beside him. He continued to clutch his puzzle yet still as he tried to gather his courage. "...Atem...are you there...?" Yugi finally called out to him before The Pharoah manifested on the bed side him. "Yes, Yugi...I am here." his voice answered back. "I always have, and it will always be thus..." Atem continued. Yugi only shut his eyes tight as he trembled. "Atem..." the scarlet eyed male began. "...I'm sorry..." he choked out barely able to speak. The Pharoah only turned his gaze towards Yugi taken back by his sudden apology. "Why?" Atem couldn't help but ask as worry began to shimmer in his eyes.

"...For...not believing in you...like you believe in me...expecially at a time like this...I let my insecurities cloud my judgement...and trust...in the one person who's never once let me down...that's why...i'm sorry...even if my skills as a duelist have grown...I've still got a long way to go...to be a stronger person...a partner...that YOU can rely on..." Yugi confessed to the Pharoah before he felt himself grabbed from behind as Atem's arms wrapped tightly around him.

"I DO rely on you Yugi...believe me when I say, that I trust you more than anyone else in all the known worlds...it is myself...that I cannot rely on..." The Pharoah confessed softly as tears rimmed in Yugi's eyes. "And I...who should be the one to appologize to you..." Atem continued. "It is because my mind was plagued with such fear, that the very one I wished to protect...ended up hurt and confused due to my actions..." The Pharoah murmured softly as his voice shook. Warm tears fell down the scarlet eyed male's face unable to conceal them any longer Yugi feeling Atem only hold him tighter.

"You are my Moon...and my Stars...my light in the darkest night...without you...I am only half of myself...unable to be whole..." The Pharoah told Yugi before he slowly turned his head until his eyes met Atem's not a word uttered between them as The Pharoah embraced the scarlet eyed male and held him close. Yugi's head rested under the crook of Atem's neck as the remanants of Yugi's tears trickled down his cheeks. "No Matter What May Come...Rest Assured...That The Two Of Us...Shall Always Be As One..." Atem uttered in a softened whisper so that only Yugi could hear him. A small smile worked its way on the scarlet eyed male's face and nodded afterward and enveloped himself in the Pharoah's warmth as he closed his tear stained eyes.

In the room next to Yugi's, Kaiba sat up in bed listening to the convorsation between the two through the thin wall as a smirk crossed his lips. "The Two Of Us Shall Always Be As One Huh? Heh...that is something The Pharoah would say...then again...so would Bloom more than likely..." the blue eyed male murmured amusedly as his eyes drifted towards Bloom as she laid on her stomach next to him fast asleep. A Softened smile manifested on his face as Kaiba reached down and gently brushed the faerie's hair away from her. Despite how peacefully she appeared to be sleeping he knew that deep down Bloom was still worried about Daphne, even so, she hadn't left his side all evening.

"...And Speaking of family...I wonder how Mokuba is fairing back at Kaiba Corp...expecially after the mess that bastard Chris Golden Water caused...just recalling it makes my blood boil...still...I need to make absolutely sure my little brother is ok..." Kaiba twisted his mouth and looked towards his laptop laying on the end table next to the bed. Now if he could only get to it without waking Bloom up. The CEO eyed the faerie carefully as he reached over and just barely grasped the handle before Kaiba winced. Damn. It would seem his pain hadn't completly subsided. The blue eyed male did his best to surpress it and managed to sucessfully grab his laptop. With no time to waste Kaiba opened it up and began to check out Kaiba Corp's website, thanks to the upgrade Techna installed on his laptop he could stay connected to the network on Earth.

"...I'll also check the social media just to be on the safe side...Seto Kaiba never leaves anything to chance..." The CEO muttered to himself and scrolled the various sites. After looking everything over Kaiba let out a sigh of relief internally. "Fortunately, everything seems fine...for now anyways...I suppose i'll just have to leave the company in Mokuba's hands for the time being...the only question is...what is it that we'll come up against next? Well, whatever it is...I Seto Kaiba of Kaiba Corp will be waiting ready and waiting to crush whoever or whatever gets in my way..." The CEO declared before he felt his blood run cold as his eyes soon met Bloom's piercing him like daggers as an dangerous aura oozed out of her body.

"Seto Kaiba SHOULD be RESTING instead of being on his laptop..." Bloom growled in irritation having been woken up by the light of the computer and the sound of the CEO's voice as she slowly sat up. Kaiba only scoffed in return. "Nonsense...i'm fine...i'm perfectly capable of getting proper rest without sleeping all night." the blue eyed male countered. "Somehow I highly doubt it...now give me...that...laptop..." Bloom demanded before both Kaiba and her began to fight over it. "I told you that i'm ok! And You're being childish!" the CEO argued. "Look who's talking!" the faerie cried out in a loud whisper before Kaiba paused wincing as he felt a twinge of pain. "Ack!" the blue eyed male hissed jerking the computer away sending Bloom forwards with the momentum and landing right ontop of him.

"Oh ow..." Bloom groaned before she paused and felt her cheeks redden as she realized where she ended up. "Oh great..." Kaiba followed up nearly being crushed under the faerie's weight. "...Tell me is it possible that you've gotten even heavier?" "Hey! It's your fault I landed on you in the first place..." Bloom muttered in a pout. "Well, excuse me...in case you haven't notice old habits die hard..." the CEO retorted as he tried to avert his gaze from looking where he not ought to. "I see that...it looks like i'm going to have to start keeping an even closer eye on you..." the faerie deadpanned. Kaiba only smirked.

"Well, aren't I the lucky one? Now, unless you're planning on keeping me pinned down to the bed all night...I ask that you remove yourself." the CEO teased before Bloom's face turned beat red and stuck her tongue at Kaiba afterwards rolling off of him. Kaiba only chuckled amusedly. One of the few joys he had in life was seeing the cute red head flustered. It was almost as fun as teasing Wheeler. Almost. "UGH! I've had enough of this i'm going back to bed!" Bloom cried still red the face and laid down beside Kaiba facing the oposite direction. The CEO smiled more to himself although that was until the faerie's eyes betrayed her true emotions. Filled with worry and axiety. To be honest he probably wasn't helping.

"...It just occured to me...but you've been so preoccupied taking care of me...that I never got the chance to ask you how you're doing..." Kaiba broke the silence. Gently Bloom rolled over onto her back as she looked up at the ceiling. "...To be honest...I...I don't know really...I don't know how I feel...does that...make any sense at all?" the faerie questioned. "Yeah..." Kaiba replied simply. "Expecially with everything happening the way it is now...I can share that feeling..." the CEO admitted as a ghost of a smile appeared on Bloom's face. Slowly the faerie turned around face him.

"But, even so...i'm glad...that...i'm not...going through this...alone...cuz I know that you're with me..." the faerie murmured and reached her hand out toward Kaiba. Gently the CEO grasped the faerie's hand intertwining his fingers with hers. Both gazed into eachother's eyes before Kaiba pulled Bloom close to him in a warm embrace. "Go ahead...be as weak as you need...and i'll be as strong as you need me to be..." Kaiba murmured as tears filled the faerie eyes and burried her head into the CEO's chest. Silently Bloom cried until she succumed to her emotional exsaustion. Gently Kaiba's leaned down and placed a softened kiss on the faerie's forehead. {This time...it will I who protects you...my love...}

The sun shined through Raeger's study window as morning broke through the shadows of the night. There the Guild Master had remained waiting for Hyousuke's reply to his request. In doing so however the ink from the parchament in front of him kissed his face leaving its mark on Raeger's left cheek. A Soft groan escaped the Guild Master as he raised his head off his desk. Awoken by the sound of a loud continious tapping. At first he attempted to ignore it however the more he resisted the louder the noise became. Raeger rubbed at his eyes and eased himself upwards only to discover the tapping was comming from a nearby Window. An owl with a letter baring the seal of Draconia.

"My owl!" Raeger cried out before he hurried to the window and opened it allowing the owl to come inside. Gently the Guild Master removed the letter and opened it and inside of it was a small glass bottle with Dragon Tears Cavern Water to use as essense for the Portal Potion. "The water! Then there's no time to waste! I've got to prepare the potion immediantly!" Raeger exclaimed as he nearly tripped over his chair on his way out of the room. The Guild Master whisked past the kitchen downstairs as Raeger ran to grab his ingreediants from the pantry. Gone in the blink of an eye.

"Huh?" Roxy questioned as she turned her head towards the sound of Raeger's shoes. "Is something the matter dearie?" Granny Emiko questioned. "Uh...no everything's fine...just...forget about it." the faerie told Raeger's grandmother. That was odd she could've sworn she heard Raeger's voice just now. Oh well. Roxy shrugged her shoulders before she smelled something burning. "...What's that smell?" the faerie questioned before she looked down and saw one of the pieces of french toast cooking on the hot skillet had burned. "Oh no..." Roxy groaned and removed it from the hot plate.

"There's another one for the trash can..." the faerie let out a heavy sigh as she held it over the waste bin. However it didn't quite make the journey as a fuzzy face emerged from under Roxy's hair to claim it swallowing it in one gulp. The faerie paused before she giggled. "Well I guess that's ONE way to get rid of it." Roxy admitted with a smile as she scratched the pipe dragon's chin it letting out a chime of approval as Stella let out a loud yawn making her way into the living room.

"Ugh...Morning girls..." the blonde yawned tiredly as she found a spot on the floor to sit on proping herself up with one of the chair's pillows. "Good morning Stella." Flora greeted Stella as she offered a smile while watering a vase of winter roses with a watering can she borrowed from Raeger's grandmother. "How are you this morning? You don't look you feel well at all." the faerie of flowers questioned concerned about her best friend. "Probably because Stella hasn't put her face on yet, by the way the bathroom's that way." Musa lightly teased as she flipped through her cell phone's song list.

"Is everything alright Stella?" Techna inquired as she looked up and placed her orange juice down on the coaster resting on the table. The blonde only groaned. "I got zero sleep last night...with everything going on i'm just too stressed out..." Stella confessed. "Well that's hardly surprising. The past few days haven't exactly been all that relaxing. Come to think of it, something similar like this happened when were back in Gardenia fighting with the guys." the faerie of technology recalled."Oh, I remember that, she fell asleep in mid flight as we were flying over Gardenia's city before we met Roxy."

Flora added with a softened giggle. Stella only groaned. "Do me a favor and don't remind me..." the blonde protested. That was added stress that the faerie of the Moon and Sun just didn't need right now. Things were hard enough as it was. It was true that she was trying to move on but even so it just wasn't that easy even if she was beginning to develop feelings for that obnoxiously playful ghoul. Bloom was probably the only one who could understand how she felt. But the last thing she needed to do was burden her best friend with even more problems. Stella knew she was just going to have to keep this to herself.

"Ok grumpy bear, I think I know just what you need to wipe that frown off your face, Ta Da! French Toast with PLENTY of powdered sugar and an cheese omlette with peppers!" Roxy announced as she brought over the girls plates and handed them out placing each one in front of them. "Wow! That smells and looks delicious!" Bloom's voice came from behind them as she made her way into the living room. "Hee Hee i'm glad you think so annnd this plate is for you." Roxy giggled as she placed the red head's breakfast on the table next to the couch she sat on.

"Awesome thanks for breakfast Roxy!" Bloom beamed before she got ready to dig in. As she held up her french toast to her mouth the red head paused as she noticed something fuzzy wrapped around the faerie's neck. "Um...Roxy...you have...something...neck..." Bloom pointed out pointing to her own. "Huh?" Roxy questioned before she turned seeing her pipe fox had emerged from its hiding place. "Oh, you mean him? This is Noel a pipe dragon, Raeger gave him to me." the faerie introduced the red head before it chimmed at Bloom.

"Oh,Hello there Noel." the faerie smiled in return and gently pet his head. "Will you be eating with us too Roxy?" Bloom questioned before Roxy waved her hands. "Not just yet, but I will after everyone else does which means back to kitchen duty for me! Enjoy girls!" the faerie exclaimed and hurried back into the kitchen. Well, that was a relief, at least someone seemed to not be affected by this gloom and doom atmosphere that seemed to be going around.

"Well! As for the rest of us, eat up you'll need the energy! So dig in!" Bloom beamed before the girls cheered in agreement and began to eat their breakfast placed in front of him. Even Stella's mood appeared to be lifted as she stuffed her mouth with the fluffy egg omlette. "Something wrong Bloom?" the blonde questioned with her mouth full as she watched her best friend look around the room. "Yeah, I was just wondering where Layla was, she's normally the first person up and out of bed." Bloom answered simply.

"Do you think she could still be upstairs? Maybe she's with Marik." Flora suggested as she set her plate down. "I'll go ask Cupid, maybe he's seen either of them." the faerie of flowers offered before rose up from her seat. "Well, someone sure seems to be in a hurry." Musa giggled in return. "Really, why the rush to see mr clumsy?Hmmm...?" Stella teased in return. "Come on guys be nice, if Flora thinks that he knows where Layla is then she should go on ahead and ask him. The sooner we make sure she's ok the better." Techna defended the faerie's actions.

"Or maybe if things are going as well with Layla and Marik as they are with you and Cupid we shouldn't interupt." Stella giggled all the more as Flora's face turned three shades of red and hid her face with her hands in embaressment. "You guys are horrible." Bloom retorted. "Yeah, a little more support would be nice." Roxy threw in her two cents from the kitchen before Yugi came down the stairs. "If Marik was with Layla then i'd certainally feel alot better...but I haven't seen him or Layla all morning." Yugi murmured. "But, honestly i'm starting to get worried...if they DID go off together they sure didn't tell any of us anywhere." the scarlet eyed male murmured.

"Hmm...I wonder..." Techna began before Yugi turned his attention towards the Faerie. "What is it Techna? Do you know anything?" the scarlet eyed male questioned. "Well,it's just a thought but last night, Yuki and I were doing some research on that blood scroll that Marik had awhile back. It's a possibility that he overheard that the scroll was a forgery. If so then he may have gone to investigate and Layla went along with him when she learned he was leaving to check on the situation." Techna told Yugi before everyone paused as a hand reached over and stole a piece of french toast from Techna's plate.

"Well...we can't rule that possibility out now can we?" Yuki questioned as she took a bit out of the french toast the powdered sugar scattering on his hands licking it off afterwards. Musa only made a face. "Can someone please put a bell around his neck?" the faerie questioned. "...So then...I guess something is going on...whatever that is...weither its about the scroll or something else..." Bloom murmured softly. "All I can say is I HOPE Layla knows what she's doing. Hot or not Marik doesn't exactly scream reliable." Stella chimed in.

"Now dats a statement ol Joey can agree with." Joey chimed in as he claimed his plate from Roxy only to bite into it only to burn his mouth. A look of despair manifested upon his face as the mourned his breakfast now laying on the floor. "Aw nah...talk about a sunny upside down...and im not talking bout meh eggs..." the blonde frowned. Roxy only looked towards her pipe dragon. "Noel, clean up on Aisle three." the faerie called out before the pipe dragon traveled down her arm and nibbled away at the omlette happily.

"I'm glad someone's happy..." Joey pouted before Bloom let out a sigh. "Aren't you being a little over dramatic?" the faerie questioned as Amourette made her way into the kitchen. Her eyes immediantly were drawn towards the ruined french toast and eggs dropped onto the tiled floor. "Oh dear." Raeger's grandmother murmured. Slowly Amourette made her way over towards the counter with the hot plate ontop of it. The blunette took a moment to gather her courage and looked upwards towards Roxy. "U-Um...R-Roxy-Chan..." Amourette began as his face slightly reddened.

"...Uh...What's up Amourette?..." Roxy questioned in response before everyone's eyes were drawn to her expecially Joey's. "...Well...um...that is...do...I mean...W-Would it be alright if...I made Joey-Kun's breakfast?" the blunette practically squeaked out as she left everyone nearly speechless. Roxy paused and took a moment to think before she stepped aside. "Sure I don't see why not, go for it." the faerie offered before Amourette's face brightened as she smiled happily. "Mmm!" the blunette nodded and started getting right to work.

"Dis might be the luckiest, unluckiest thing dat eva happened ta me..." Joey grinned about ready to explode with excitement as he rose up off the floor and turned his attention to Amourette whom only caught him eyeing her and smiled sweetly causing the blonde's face to redden. "Awww well aren't you two just adorable? Almost as sweet as the powdered sugar." Cellos teased the two as he phased through the kitchen wall giving nearly all three of them a heart attack. "C-Cellos-San!?" the blunette squeaked flustered as she accidently poured too much batter on the skillet causing it to overflow and cover the heated surface.

"S-Sorry Roxy-Chan! I'll clean it up right away!" Amourette cried out as she struggled to grab a handful of paper towel frantically in an attempt to clean it up. Joey only scowled at shook his fist at the ghoul. "Aw man! Look what ya made her do! Go bother someone else ya pest!" the blonde cried. "Oh dear, it appears i'm not wanted now doesn't it?" Cellos chuckled amusedly countering Joey's comment. "Very well, as you wish Mr. Wheeler." the ghoul mused and teleported elseware. "And good riddens!" the blonde exclaimed before he hurried and grabbed a bunch of paper towels.

"Here, i'll help ya out, no way am I gonna let you try and clean up this mess all by yourself. If I did what kinda man would I be?" Joey questioned as he began to wipe the floor. "Joey-kun...thank you..." Amourette murmured softly as she continued to clean up the spilled liquid. "...Uh...I'll just...make some more, no big deal." Roxy finally answered the blunette before she began to fix more batter. "...I'm sorry..." Amourette began. "If I hadn't have been startled like that...I wouldn't have caused so many problems for everyone...now everyone else's breakfast is delayed because of me...i'm really sorry everyone..." the blunette appologized. Sometimes it seemed as if she couldn't do anything right. No matter what she did she failed at everything she did. Suddenly Amourette paused as she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, don't sweat it." Joey began before the blunette slowly looked up at him. "We all make mistakes and mess up every now and then. Ya wanted ta do something nice there's nothin wrong with dat. I mean I know it didn't turn out da way ya planned...but listen its not about failin or suceedin...it's about havin da courage ta try cuz I know that no matta wat da outcome is, whatever ya fix for me is gonna be delicious. So, how about givin it another go, i'll even help ya dis time, come on whadya say?"

Joey asked as tears filled Amourette's eyes and nodded before she attempted to wipe them away. The Blonde only smiled before he helped her to her feet. Afterwards Roxy gently handed the blunette a freshly made cup of batter as Joey helped guide Amourette's hands pouring the pancake batter on the hot skillet. Yugi only watched them silently for a moment as Atem's eyes were drawn towards the scarlet eyed male. {Is Something On Your Mind Yugi?} "Hmm? Oh not really, it's just...well Amourette reminds me alot of how I used to be...in the begining..." Yugi confessed to the Pharoah.

{Oh really? How So?} Atem questioned as Yugi leaned against the staircase. "Well, once upon a time I didn't really have much confidence in myself either...all I had was my love of duel monsters and my grandfather...I had no qualities I considered special or unique...nor was I strong in any kind of form...I always messed up in one way or another...and that no matter I did...I never could seem to measure up...most people considered me weak or easy to take advantage of..." Yugi began.

"So, I see alot of the old me in Amourette...like me...Princess of Emerald or not...she's still trying to find her place in the world...struggling to be the best version of herself she can be...chasing after someone from behind them...all this time waiting for them to stop walking and look back...after all...it wasn't until we bonded and I met Joey and the others that everything changed...in ways I couldn't possibly imagine...I wonder if Amourette will go through those same kind of trials and hardships..." Yugi let out a softened sigh.

{Perhaps she will, there is no way for us to know with absolute certainty...however...your friends and your loved ones were the key that allowed us to save the world and begin our new adventure...whatever the outcome of our destination...there is one thing that I do know} Atem told Yugi as he looked at him perplexed. "And what is that Atem?" the scarlet eyed male questioned as the Pharoah only smiled. {We Need Not Worry...because Joey is by her side, and it is you Yugi that inspired him with your courage and kind heart...now...it is his turn to do what you did for him, for her...} Atem murmured before Yugi exchanged the Pharoah' smile.

"Yeah, you're right." the scarlet eyed male agreed before he paused hearing the sound of glass clinking together and turned around only to see Katori's green eyes glisten with a smile on her face. Just one glance and her softened emerged from her lips upon catching a glimpse of Yugi. "Oh, Yugi good morning, how funny running into you first thing in the morning." the young witch smiled brightly as she held in her arms a collection of glass vials and dried herbs collected in a bundle. The scarlet eyed male only smiled in return. "And a good morning to you Katori." Yugi greeted before Selina followed behind her carrying just as much stuff if not more.

"Wow! What's all THAT for?" Bloom questioned as she made her way over hearing Selina's voice nearby. It seemed like everyone was choosing to stay upstairs today. The faerie couldn't help but wonder if everyone had come down a case with a nervous stomach. Which wasn't too surprisingly really considering what they were getting ready to embark on. "Yeah, that's a lot of bottles and herbs, are you making something per chance?" Yugi asked in return.

"Yes, this journey is going to a dangerous one and i believe that it is in our best interest to be prepared as best as we can, so Selina and I are going to craft several potions and antidotes that will most certainlly come in handy. But it's alot of work so i'm glad that I found some help." Katori explained to Bloom and Yugi before Carlos came trailing behind the two girls out of breath as he carried an arm full of books. In each of them they contained the recipes for the concoctions. "If you just needed Selina then why did I have to get dragged into it? It's too early for this..." Carlos yawned in a protested.

"Who else is going to carry all of the heavy books for us?" Selina teased before Musa giggled as did most everyone else. "Now let's get a move on, we have alot of work ahead of us." Selina urged. Carlos only let out a groan as his face reddened hearing the faerie of music laugh at him. "Alright fine..." he let out a defeated sigh and followed after Katori and Seilina. "Hang in there Carlos!" Bloom cheered as she watched him and the girls pass her by. A nervous laugh escaping her afterwards.

"I hope he knows what he's in for." the red head murmured to herself. Musa only giggled more. "Poor guy." the faerie half smiled. "You know, we should give them a hand." Flora offered. "Good idea, maybe they'll get the potions done faster that way." Techna agreed. "Well you can count me out, potions class and I don't exactly mix incase you forgot." Stella followed up as she crossed her arms. "For some reason i'm sensing a story here." Yuki retorted before Cellos's voice once against echoed from within the living room walls.

"Oh come now, i'm surely you don't REALLY expect me to believe that." Cellos mused as he manifested beside the faerie of the Sun and Moon. Stella only turned towards the ghoul. "Well you should, after all I once blew up the potions lab in attempts to bring innovation to the world of fashion, the make up industry to be more specific, Magix just wasn't exactly ready for my genius." the blonde explained. Cellos only sweatdropped in response. "Mmm..Well brewing potions IS a very delicate and sometimes complex , in otherwords its not something one simply learns overnight. In anycase, i'm certain that your particular talents will most definately be needed elseware, Miss Stella!" the ghoul exclaimed in attempt to cheer the blonde up before the faerie worked her way up to her feet.

"In THAT case, I believe i'll have to find us some fitting outfits to wear for this FABULOUS mission, if you put it like that Cellos dear. Be back soon! Look out Draconia here I come!" Stella beamed as she ran past the girls and right up the stairs. "WOAH!" Pit cried as he backed up nearly mowed over by the blonde as Christy quickly clung to him in an act of self preservation. Both of them paused as Stella ceased movement the middle of the stairs and stared at them for a moment. "Uh...can we help you with something Stella?" Pit questioned before the blonde directed her finger towards Christy much to her surprise.

"Oh yes yes yes! YOU! Come with me! You're exactly the person I was looking for!" the blonde exclaimed and grabbed the heiress before she could protest whisking her beyond the top of the stairs. Pit only blinked a few times as he watched the two girls dissapear before his eyes. "...Uh...I think Christy was just kidnapped..." the brunette sweatdropped. "This oughta be interesting..." Yuki murmured from nearby as Spice came up from behind Pit. "Uh oh, that gives a whole new meaning to the phrase faction victim." the faerie of sweets and spices giggled nervously before finally Bright emerged from his room.

"What is with all of the noise out here?" the prince of Aura questioned as he raised his brow. "...Don't ask..." Pit deadpanned. "Very well then, I won't. Might I ask if anyone has seen Raeger this morning? I'm just curious as to wheither he recieved word from Draconia yet." Bright inquired. Duke only scoffed as he passed by the prince. "All I know is I saw the guy running back and forth through the hall earlier on." the dice master threw in as he traveled down the stairs using the convience of the railing.

"DUKE!" Bright cried out. "That is hardly what I call appropriate behavior! Expecially when we're all guests in this house!" the Prince scolded Duke appauled at his barbaric actions. "Geesh! Don't get your royal panties in a bunch Princy, i'm just having a little fun, you should try it." the dice master remarked and shot a pair of dice in Bright's direction. However he forgot about the runes engraved on them which caused the dice to ignite after they were thrown. The Prince braced for impact before the dice froze solid and fell right into Froste's hands.

"THAT'S QUITE ENOUGH!" the ice spirit spat in agrivation before the dice began to levitate out of Froste's hands and right into Noah's as she propped herself up on the bannister. "Geesh, ya need to learn to relax." the sorcoress advised and tossed the defrosted dice back to Duke. "You can't let every little thing rile you up ya know? Take it from me, I keep my cool no matter what comes my way." Noah bragged. Slowly Cupid snuck up behind her being quiet as can be before he blew on her neck causing the mage to scream and her fist to make contact with the red head's face which sent him over the railing and onto the couch below.

"OH NO CUPID!" Flora cried out and hurried over to him helping him sit up. "Are you ok!?" the faerie of flowers questioned worried. "Yeah...nothing i'm not...used too..." Cupid responded as the room kept spinning. Flora only frowned and looked up at Noah. "You know, that wasn't very nice, you could've really hurt him!" the faerie defended him. "HMPH! That's what the sneaky bastard gets for scaring the wits ouuta me! Be lucky that's all that was done to him!" the mage remarked as Aster poked his head out of his room.

"...Just what are they all doing down there?" Aster questioned as hauled a large cauldron across the hall to one of the rooms down at the end of it. He wasn't the only one pondering that question as Kaiba himself caught the blonde sneaking off away from everyone else. After the CEO finished getting dressed he wasted no time in following Aster with the utmost stealth. Kaiba silently peered in the room only to see Oritel, Takuna, Akiba, and Nebula all gathered together as Raeger worked on preperation of the ingreediants for the Portal potion after Aster sat the cauldron down the middle of the bedroom.

"Here you go." Aster huffed before Raeger offered a smile. "Thank you Aster." The Guild Master offered a smile before the blonde took a seat on the floor to rest. Quickly Aster moved his hand before it could be crushed under Oritel's foot as the King Of Sparks paced back and forth restlessly. An irritated growl escaped him before he opened his mouth to speak. "Ok, is it just me or does no one in this household take ANYTHING seriously! Do they don't understand the weight and seriousness of the situation?!" Oritel questioned as his steps hastened.

"First of all, you need to try and calm down." The Professor advised. "Getting yourself worked up won't do you or anyone else any favors." Takuna muttered as he picked up his cup of coffee and held it to his mouth before Oritel ceased movement and turned around to face him. "THIS IS MY DAUGHTER WE'RE TALKING ABOUT! GOING OFF INTO THE UNKNOWN!TO FULLFILL HER DESTINY! NOT TO MENTION KAIBA'S ROLE IN ALL THIS!And THAT is exactly what worries me." the king of sparks confessed. Kaiba only twisted his mouth.

"So, the old man doesn't like me. Surprise, Surprise. Well I have news for you Oritel, no one else does either." the CEO hissed under his breath and resisted the urge to walk inside the room as he hid beside the opened door. All he could do for now is watch the disscussion continue. "Not to mention Yugi's past possibly rearing its ugly head..." Oritel continued before he regained Kaiba's attention. {Yugi? About his past life as Pharoah? Or is something else going on that i'm unaware of? I wonder if Atem knows what they're talking about...I know this much...I sure as hell am gonna find out...If Yugi is keeping secrets from me then I want to know about it...} the CEO thought to himself as he narrowed his eyes.

"Honestly I don't want to even THINK of what the outcome could be!" Oritel exclaimed as he worked himself into a downward spiral. The Professor only let out a heavy sigh. "A feeling I myself know all too well..." Takuna replied simply. "But, I don't believe that Bloom and the others are taking this situation lightly either...in fact i'd say it's quite the opposite...it's because they feel the weight and the direness of what lies ahead that is causing them to act and behave as they normally would...perhaps even more so..." The Professor defended the party. "Believe it or not, it is their way of being strong for one another. Expecially the girls." Takuna pointed out.

"Hmm...well when you put it that way...I can see some reasoning behind their actions...but the question remains, will they be able to handle it?" Oritel questioned. Nebula only scoffed at the king of spark's question. "I don't believe there's ANY question when it comes to The Winx strangthe in terms of courage and power not to mention heart! They defeated The Wizards Of The Black Circle even when my sisters and I the major faerie could not. Even when the odds were against them they always came out on top time and time again. It's the OTHERS that concern me Oritel, Takuna." the faerie of peace snapped.

"Now, Now." Akiba attempted to calm the three down at each other's throats. "This isn't just about Bloom and the Winx. Yugi-kun, Bloom-Chan, Kaiba-San and everyone else's destinies are connected, that is why fate brought them together...and all of us as well...a party of the Three Worlds...Earth, Magix and The Sealed Worlds...that wasn't by mistake. That is why we all must unite to protect all the worlds from coming under The A.O.J or Death's rule...evil mustn't triumph...and in order to stop it we need the powers of The Sun and The Moon...and...that includes the stars...the light that causes the Sun to shine brighter...and reflect the Moon's illumination over the night...and we as Guardians have a duty to guide them."

Akiba reminded everyone in the room. The party paused as they were taken back by the seriousness in the golden haired male's words and the determination in his eyes. "Exactly! We can't afford to fight one another, we must stay united, expecially now." Raeger added as Loore lept off his shoulder and made her way out of the room, however, not before flashing the CEO a smile. Oh, well Kaiba had a feeling he'd be discovered eventually, that was a risk one always took when watching from the shadows. And who would Loore benefit from telling them anyways? The answer was simple. No one. He could count on her silence, for now at least.

Despite Kaiba's confidence in that fact it began to deminish as the blue eyed male heard a collection of footsteps and the sound of moving chairs. The Guardian's were starting to leave the room which meant he needed to move and do it fast. However, the CEO only got so far before a sharp pain shot through him like a white lightning bolt. Kaiba surpressed a gasp as he grabbed onto the wall next to him near his room. This was begining to become quite the nuisence. However he was powerless to do anything about it until his body recovered from the pact. Unable to even move.

"Kaiba!" Raeger cried out as he hurried over to the CEO's side as he caught the blue eyed male in his sight on his way out of the confrence room. Kaiba paused as he struggled to look up at the voice calling out to him. "...Raeger...it's you..." the CEO muttered in an effort to hide his pain. Raeger only took Kaiba's arm and placed it over his shoulder before he led him out of the hallway and into his room. Gently the Guild Master eased the CEO onto the bed and closed the door. Knowing Kaiba he wouldn't want anyone to see him in this state. Well, better him than Bloom or for Phoenix's sake Wheeler.

Raeger only frowned concerned. "You're still suffering the effect of forming the pact with Cellos aren't you, even with the angel tea that Flora fixed you..." the Guild Master questioned softly. Kaiba only scoffed. "Hmph...even so I refuse to be slowed down by a little discomfort...I will overcome this...I have to...I don't have a choice in the matter..." the CEO declared before a silence passed between him and Raeger. "...You've really given this alot of thought..." the Guild Master concluded.

"Of course, I'm Seto Kaiba, I never take action without thinking things through. I already knew the consequences of forging the pact...but I made my choice...although...i'm not recovering nearly as quick as I thought I would...I was told by Cellos my pain would get better...and to be honest it has...but not by much...its as if my entire body is fighting whatever that ghoul put in me...and the pain coming from the tattoo on my arm refuses to stop giving me grief..." Kaiba confided in Raeger as the Guild Master listened intently.

"According to Cellos, I have two aura's I possess...a red aura and a blue aura...although i'm not certain as to why...first I thought perhaps it was in connection to my bond with my Blue Eyes White Dragon...but now I haven't a single clue about the blue or the red power flowing through my veins...all I do know for certain is whatever the ghoul did to me doesn't seem to be remedying the problem...only causing it to stagnate and fester like a nasty infection...so tell me why is that?" Kaiba questioned The Guild Master whom paused to think for a moment.

"Normally when a pact is formed between a Neitherworld Deity and a mortal the power that enters their body is treated similar to a virus...and that is people tend to end up bedridden with a high fever for several days...however...the pain you're expirencing should have eased a great deal after consuming the angel tea...and yet...it still isn't subsiding...which is...strangely odd to say the least...almost... as if your body is rejecting the Neitherworld's power...conflicting with the power laying dormant within you..." Raeger murmured before Kaiba looked up at him.

"H-HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?"The CEO cried out. "Cellos claimed that if I made the pact with him that his power as a Blue Eyes White Dragon would allow him to collect all of the power flowing through my body to ensure that it didn't destroy me like a ticking time bomb because I as I am now are unable to do so without one of the Tablets no one will stop going on about! Are you telling me all of this was for nothing!?" Kaiba demanded to know before he winced from the pain striking him yet again.

"Here let me take a look at your arm." Raeger offered before the Guild Master rolled up his sleave only for his eyes to widen. Upon Kaiba's arm where the tattoo of the Blue Eyes White Dragon was engraved his skin glowed with a dangerous gleam of ebony and purple. Rager's eyes widened as did the CEO's in horror. "WHAT THE-WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY ARM!?" Kaiba cried spat before he gasped as the pain shot through him causing the blue eyed male to wince in pain. It only seemed to be worsening.

"Kaiba!" Raeger cried out worriedly as he bit down on his lower lip. Something was most definitely wrong. Suddenly The Guild Master paused as the Moon Pendant concealed under his shirt began to pulse along with the CEO's body. Raeger looked down towards the glow perplexed at its meaning. {My Moon pendant...it appears to be reacting to Kaiba...wait...could...could we have been wrong?} The Guild Master thought to himself before he grasped the Moon Pendant and removed it from his own neck.

Slowly Raeger placed the Moon Pendant around Kaiba. Upon contact the white moon reflected on it slowly turned blue as a light blue light wrapped the CEO in its gentle embrace. Little by little the discoloring of Kaiba's arm faded returning him to normal. Afterwards the glow itself began to dissipate. Kaiba paused as he looked at his arm in awe and confusion. "My...pain...its...gone..." the CEO murmured in disbelief before his eyes were drawn towards the Moon Pendant around his neck. "Just...what is this thing anyways...and why did you decide to give it to me...?" Kaiba asked simply.

"...That Moon Pendant is a symbol of The Great Mage, Artemis Moon, The God Of The Moon and The Planets...before he passed on...he gave those pendants to his followers known as The Court Of Twilight...and those pendants have a power imbued within them...the power of Moonlite...for certain reasons I can't reveal how I came to obtain it...however this one...is now yours Kaiba..." Raeger told him which took the CEO back. "What do you mean by mine?" Kaiba questioned as The Guild Master looked him in the eyes.

"I mean it's yours, I am giving it to you. Artemis Moon is a Deity Of The Beyond rather than the Neitherworld like Undine whom Cellos serves under." Raeger began. "Therefore it makes sense that the power contained within the pendant is able to counter the negative aura of the Neitherworld's essence with the essence and aura of The Beyond. This is because The Blue Eyes White Dragon in its true form is a Lunar Dragon, created and ruled by the Moon. As a result from the pact the healing power of the moon reacted to the Blue Eyes and gave it just enough moonlite to evoke it." Raeger attempted to explain.

"I see...now it makes sense..." Kaiba muttered in acknowledgement. However despite his own explination, The Guild Master couldn't help but wonder if his theory was indeed correct or if perhaps there was something else at work here. Either way he couldn't afford to be distracted and rose up from Kaiba's side. "Well, if you're feeling better than I suggest we join the others downstairs for the time of our departure draws near and there can be no further delay." Raeger spoke up before the CEO too stood up from the bed. "I couldn't agree more. So Let's go." Kaiba echoed and followed Raeger down the stairs just as Bloom began to make their way up them. Worry reflected in her eyes.

"Kaiba! There you are!" the redhead cried out as she made her way over to him. "What took you so long!? I was really worried about you!" Bloom exclaimed as she began to shake her nerves already wrecked twice over. Gently Kaiba took the faerie's hands in his in an attempt to calm her fears. "My appologies, I didn't mean to cause you to worry about me." the CEO began. "I was just taking some time to speak with Raeger to see if there had been any new developments." Kaiba lied. Although he felt horrible lying to the red head the last thing he wanted to do was cause her to worry anymore than she already was.

"A-Alright if you say so...how are you feeling any better?" Bloom questioned unable to shake her concern. "Yes, actually, so try not to worry so much, it'll cloud that beautiful smile of yours." Kaiba mused causing the faerie's face to redden slightly and her heart to beat a little bit faster. "Alright, maybe I am worrying too much." Bloom murmured and decided not to press the CEO any further before Raeger clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "The Time has come, everyone please follow me upstairs." The Guild Master commanded and led the way ensuring that no one wasn't within the room by the time the potion was activated. For a moment everyone was silent as they stood around the cauldron filled with a blue liquid.

Meanwhile...

Back on Earth in Cairo Egypt both Layla and Marik ventured into the home of the Tomb Keepers where Ishizu Ishtar awaited their arrival. The dark skinned faerie only looked around in wonder and awe. She'd never seen anything like it before. Only silence passed between Marik and Layla before Ishizu came to greet the two of them. "I have been expecting you my brother." Ishizu began. "Ever since you broke into the forbidden sanctum,I had a feeling that you would return here eventually." she remarked. "And I see you've brought company." Ishizu continued before Layla looked towards Marik's older sister.

"You're Marik's sister right? My name is Layla princess of Andros, I am the faerie of the water. It's an honor to meet you." the dark skinned faerie bowed in respect. "Likewise, I appologise for our meeting like this, i'd have rather it been under better circumstances...but before we begin Marik i'd like you explain why you so dilberately broke into The Forbidden Sanctum and took the scroll that lay within it." Ishizu demanded to know as she turned her attention back to Marik.

"Forgive me sister however, I only did so in hopes that I could gain answers." Marik began. "Answers my brother?" Ishizu questioned. "That is correct, eversince The Battle City Tournament ended I attempted to learn the origins of the darkness that took a hold of my very soul and caused me to turn against our family's legacy and the Pharoah. I could not bring myself to accept that the darkness was I and I alone..." the tomb keeper began. "Go on." his sister urged before Marik nodded.

"Ever since I recieved the Tomb Keepers legacy I began to feel something awake within me...a force that was dark and grew darker with each passing day...that tattoo placed on my back changed me forever and our family. It was almost as if something was imbued within the markings...however as you are well aware not all of our family's secrets were known to us...perhaps we had another duty all together...hidden from us...a duty that somehow tied the Millennium Items and the three Egyptian God Cards together...as a result...I broke into the sanctum forbidden even to us...and found a scroll...sealed with blood in a language unknown even to us whom learned the Ancient scriptures by heart...they are reffered to as Blood scrolls...and within them they are imbued with a darkness unfathomable to mortal kind..." Marik continued.

"So I took the scroll to Earth to find The Pharoah in an attempts to uncover its secrets...but even he could not aid me...thus I looked to Layla not from Earth or The Sealed Worlds but from Magix, where magic reins over the Universe. Much to my disappointment...it turn out the so called Blood Scroll that was kept within the Forbidden Sanctum was revealed to be a forgery...yet whoever did take it took the time and effort to imbue it with Blood Magic...fooling us all...sister..." the Tomb keeper informed his sister whom's eyes widened in horror.

"But, If what you say is indeed true then where is the TRUE blood scroll and whom broke into the Forbidden Sanctum without us knowing!?" Ishizu cried out but Marik only shook his head. "I am afraid I do not know...however it disturbs me...expecially considering Chaos's shrine also being descicrated...whoever we are up against they are seeking dangerous forces beyond their control...that is precisely why our family placed one of the most powerful objects of The Black Power in a place that none could obtain its dark powers...but...if this indivual indeed has taken what is suspected to be A Blood Scroll then opening the pathway to seal could prove possible..." Marik muttered as a beat of sweat trickled down his face.

"Then you must be careful my brother...for I have been shown visions of a very difficult struggle that lay ahead...darkness that could eclipse the entire world...and if The Blood Scroll is what triggered your darkened side to emerge for one reason or another...you must guard your heart, mind and most importantly your soul...and then just maybe we can find a way to overcome the power of the source that attempted to control and consume you once before...luckilly...we too have more allies of light than we did all those years ago." Ishizu pointed out with a softened smile as did Layla.

"Yes, I promise that we will do everything in our power to help put an end to all of this." Layla proclaimed to both the Ishtar siblings before Layla looked towards Marik and he her in exchange. "I'm glad to hear that, I feel reassured once more that good will triumph. It is nearing the time however for the both of you return from once you came. As for me I shall remain here for the time being to see if I can uncover any clues." Ishizu told the two. "She's right." Layla remarked. "I know." Marik replied simply. "Go my brother, and I shall be watching." Ishizu urged before Layla with but a movement of her hand created a portal for them to pass through. "Farewell Sister...and best of luck..." the tomb keeper murmured and took one last look back before they entered the portal. "You as well Marik...you as well...my dear brother..." Ishizu murmured and watched the two of them until they vanished from her sight.

Back At Covenant...

"So uh...how exactly does this work again?..." Bloom questioned as she and the others gazed into cauldron infront of them each standing around it. "Cuz, last time we tried to use it...the potion didn't exactly work in our favor..." the faerie reminded Raeger. Roxy only frowned in response. "No kidding...my stomach is in knots just thinking about it..." she followed the opinion of Bloom. The Guild Master only smiled. "Like this." he retorted before he pulled out a glass bottle which appeared to hold what seemed to be a clear liquid. "Uh...unless I missed something...ain't dat just watta?" Joey questioned as he raised a brow. "Oh! Isn't that the water from Dragon Tears Cavern?" Amourette pointed out before the blonde face faulted.

"Uh I-I knew dat! I was just makin sure everyone else did." Joey liked through his teeth. "Sure you did, a convient excuse as any." Kaiba threw in his two cents. "HEY! NO ONE ASKED YA, YA PRICK!" the blonde snapped. {Well, at least Kaiba seems well enough to tease Joey, that's gotta be a good sign, maybe not for Joey though} Yugi thought to himself. {Yes, but both Marik and Layla have yet to return...} Atem remarked concerned. {Yeah, and i'm starting to become even more concerned...but we have to continue no matter what...I know that...so the question is...do we proceed even without them...or wait until Marik and Layla return?...I wish I knew...} the scarlet eyed male frowned.

{I see...perhaps the others might have their own opinion on the matter} the Pharoah replied before Yugi paused as he watched Akiba look around the room. "Hmm...it appears that we're missing a few indisuals." Akiba spoke up. "Yes...that certainally appears to be the case now doesn't it?" Takuna added before he opened his mouth to speak. "Does anyone know the location of both Layla and Marik?" The Professor questioned. The Professor questioned. Yuki only pursed his lips. "This is just a guess, but it's possible...Marik and Layla have gone to Earth to inquire about a certain object..." the black haired male mused.

"Well maybe I can use my phone to get a lock on Layla's magic trail." Techna offered and began to tinker with her phone. Stella only smiled. "And while we're waiting on Techna to sort things out I have a fabulous surprise for everyone!" the faerie exclaimed used her magic to manifest leather belts with buckles and earrings each one to suit the personality of the wearer. In no time all eyes were glued to items in front of them. "After all, a good designer always as a good set of acessories to enhance ones NATURAL look! Ohhhh models!" Stella called out before Christy came out along with Aster red in the face. "...I still don't know how I let you talk me into this..." Aster groaned.

"Hush." the faerie cut the blonde off before she showed off Christy in a pair of one of the earrings. The heiress's earrings were golden hearts that were small in size hugging her ears. Stella cleared her throat before she began. "As I was saying, these fashionably spectacular earrings are not only adorable they're totally functional as well, just press on the left earring and you can talk with that one and listen with the other one, and don't think i've left you guys out either as I have some awesomely cool belt made up leather that also function as a communication device by just pressing on the buckle! Each imbued with communication magic courtesy of the faerie of technology!" Stella beamed with pride. Each person grabbed their chosen belt and set of earrings afterwards trying them on for size.

"Oh yes, that reminds me." Yuki paused as he made his way over towards Kaiba and held out to him a elemental sphere that he had promised him awhile back. "I believe this is for you." Without any hesitation Kaiba took it from him. "Well its about time." the CEO remarked. "Hmm yes...i'll warn you once again...though I doubt you'll listen...but i've said it once so i'll say it once more...the orb and elemental powers contained within it will take time to master...keeping that in mind...try to...use it wisely..." the black haired male warned Kaiba. The CEO only scoffed."Well then, I guess i'll just have to make time bend to MY will." Kaiba grinned.

"I don't know what's larger...the size of Stella's closet or Kaiba's inflated ego." Musa remarked snarkily. Carlos only snickered in response. "I think i'll go with option two." Selina giggled amusedly as Bloom made a face. "Come on guys not now we've got bigger problems to deal with..." the redhead groaned in irritation before Oritel placed his hand on his daughter's arms firmly. "That's precisely right! We MUST decide what action we shall take." the king of Sparks remarked. "Do we proceed or wait?" Oritel questioned before Flora frowned.

"Wait! You can't honestly be thinking of leaving both of them behind! Both Layla and Marik have just as much a part in this as the rest of us!" the faerie of flowers cried out. Pit looked towards Flora softly. "No one is saying they don't..." he began before Spice interupted. "Look Flora, I know how you must feel but...time isn't exactly on our side...I know...because Hyousuke an Elder of Draconia sent me...he did so because he was unable to aid you himself in person...the Requiem Knight are still out there searching for you...all of you...because they have yet to find Blaire whom somehow escaped..." Spice began.

"What's even MORE frightening is we have reason to suspect the A.O.J and The Requiem Knight are connected...if not working together...and right now they are all over Draconia...so the longer we wait...the more likely we'll run into them...if we're lucky...they won't find us at all..." the faerie of sweets and spices told them as a seriousness glistened in her teal eyes. Suddenly a portal manifested before two figures emerged from within. "LAYLA-CHAN!" Amourette exclaimed happily. "AND MARIK TOO!" Joey echoed as both Layla and Marik arrived. "Looks like we arrived just in time!" Layla beamed before Marik turned towards Yugi.

"Are we readying for our departure to Draconia?" the tomb keeper questioned. "Mhmm, that was perfect timing, we were about to leave without the two of you." Yugi confirmed. "What? And miss out on the grand adventure awaiting us? No way!" Layla exclaimed. "And we wouldn't have it any other way." Bloom smiled happily before the girls joined in with a high five. The men only remained on standby. "Finally...our Journey can begin..." Raeger murmured before Katori interupted them.

"Wait, not just yet." the young witch exclaimed. "I have something for everyone first." she after the other Katori started to pass around what appeared to resemble small pill boxes with colorful circulars gel like candies stored within them. "...Are those...Jellies?" Froste questioned. "Sure looks like it." Cupid murmured as he popped open the container and poked at them. "That's not a bad idea considering. They'll defintely come in handy that's for sure." Noah followed up. "YEP!" Loore threw in her two cents. Bloom only blinked a few times. "...That's great but...what exactly are they SUPPOSED to be?" the faerie questioned before Kaiba spoke up much to Bloom's surprise.

"I recgonize them..." the CEO began before Bloom turned her attention towards Kaiba. "You do?" the faerie asked as the CEO nodded firmly. "Yeah...when I went to Zaloz I was ambushed by The Wizards Of The Black Circle...as a result I ended up badly injured...luckilly I was brought to Kenshin's clinic. While I was there he gave me a number of bizzare looking gels that acted as if they were medicinal remedies. It was quite facinating and I have to say very effective. Though there are several gels that I don't regonize due to the various colors reflected in them...that clear one for example..." Kaiba pointed out.

"Oh, that's an Aero Jellie. It will allow us to breathe under water for an extended amount of time, just enough to be able to swim from the cavern to the otherside." Katori began. "The dark blue one will increase depleted mana or magic. The red one will help to restore any blood loss. The orange will produce a numbing affect in case of injury but it can make the user drowsy. The green one will extract any kind of poison. The purple one will cure paralysis in case of exposure. The light blue one will treats burns and frostbite and last but not least the white one repairs broken bones, although its a bit painful." the young witch paused to take a breath.

The Golden jellies are special because they help restore the power of the Sun mainly Bloom's and Stella's magic capacity and the Black ones are for Cellos just incase of the event harm is done to his Astral form. And last but not least the silver ones are for Kaiba to increese the power of the lunar dragon within him. For the Faerie's i've each given you a rainbow jellie that corresponds to your own personal powers. Just in case." Katori added as she offered a smile. Silence washed over everyone's face as they looked as pale as a handful of ghosts.

"...Um...thank you Katori for that...helpful insight..." Bright chose his words carefully. "Raeger why don't you go on and continue with what you were saying earlier...please..." the Prince encourage before Raeger took a moment to clear his throat as he tugged at his shirt collar nervously. "With pleasure, Now as I was saying." The Guild Master began. "We need to form groups of two. Meaning that two people enter the cauldron at a time, just so we're clear. Before you enter however, make sure you swallow one of the Aero jellies so you can breathe under the water once you are submerged." Raeger continued.

"Also, you need not worry about being scaulded upon entry, I assure you that I made certain the potion wasn't to boiling point nor too hot to avoid injury." The Guild Master added as the party peered into the liquid. Whilst they were doing so Raeger removed the cork from the glass bottle containing the water from Dragon's Tears Cavern and imbued the mixture with the essence of Draconia. Bloom swallowed hard as Kaiba stood beside her. "Down the rabbit hole..." the faerie began. "And back again." Kaiba finished. "Well...there's only one way to go..." the red head pointed out although her nerves were begining to eat her alive. Reaching out the CEO grasped Bloom's hand as he hand done the night before. Slowly he proceeded up the stepping stool as the faerie's grip only tightened. In return Kaiba gently squeezed her hand.

"Don't worry..." the CEO began. "I'm WITH you." Kaiba assured Bloom in almost a whisper as they reached the final step. "And so am I...always..." the red head muttered and stared down into the portal begining to form. "Are you ready?" the CEO questioned. "With you by my side...i'm ready for anything." Bloom told Kaiba before a smirked worked its way onto his face. "Well then, what are we waiting for, let go!" the CEO cried out before both he and Bloom leapt into the Portal Potion dissappearing from within.
