Very important A/N in profile

"What a great day!"

Hawks' wings stretched to their full capacity as they stood on the roof of the HPSC building, feeling much better now that he was no longer in that confined room, 'It must drive poor Miko-chan crazy!'

However, Miko did not seem too interested as the wind blew through her long hair while she fiddled with her scarf until it covered almost half of her face.

"We gotta go," Hawks shrugged, honestly not caring no way or the other if he was late, as long as he got to meet Endeavor, "Here, put these on," He threw Miko a pair of headphones her way, "I can fly pretty fast, so we don't want those eardrums of yours popping. Trust me, Miko-chan, it can hurt like a bitch–?!"

She jumped immediately.

"Hey now, don't go all feral dog on me now that you're outside!" The blond leapt away from the spot he was just standing when Miko drew her sword in an instant, carving the ground deeply where he had just stood, "I don't want to have to put you back into your cage, Miko-chan!"

"Kurikara–" Miko bit her tongue, unable to say the full name of her sword towards the man who was clearly trying to help her and not just use her and just discard her when they were finished with her. She sheathed her sword, tucking it back in place before looking away from the confused blond male, "Y-you..." She began, "You are not... canine-based. You can't use that word."

"Uh, what?" Hawks blinked, before it hit him, "Oh, you mean 'bitch', huh?" He raised his palms up with a smile when Miko growled at him, "It's just a word we all adults use from time to time. Does it mean anything special to you? Does it have something to do with your Quirk?"

Miko almost seemed to roll her eyes before jamming on the headphones so she could not hear him talk and simply stood there with her arms crossed.

'Guess I'm the one in the doghouse right now,' Hawks cracked a shoulder, 'Does the word 'bitch' have a bigger meaning other the obvious?' He wondered, but then let out noise he deny ever releasing for the rest of his life as a weight jumped onto his back and rubbed against the very sensitive base of his wings, "What the hell are you doing, Miko-chan?!"

The girl blinked slowly, tightening her arms around his neck as she pointed in the location where the Hero Billboard Charts: Japanese Edition were being held, "Flying there?" She asked with a simple tilt of her head.

"No, no, no, Miko-chan!" Hawks shuddered, not sure he could even handle flight with such stimulation at the same time, "C'mere." With a little quick manoeuvring, Miko was now in Hawks' arms in a princess-like carry, though she looked less than amused with the switch, "I do need my feathers just in case, Miko-chan, you know that. Can't have you groping at them while we could be potentially be attacked by some wannabe villain."

Miko closed her eyes, not wanting to listen to any more on Hawks' nonsense anymore and he could only sigh, taking off in the direction Kagome had pointed before. He gripped the seemingly sleeping girl tightly, wondering if she would take to any of the other Heroes, 'Probably not with Endeavor-san...'

But why did the idea of her making friends give him a bad feeling in his stomach?
