Chapter 1255 One with Nature
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Hank was at the inn and he looks around.
"Well it seems to be peaceful but I have a bad feeling something big will happen." He said.
Hank then remembers Koneko. "I hope she's doing alright."
He once had to help her discover her hidden potential.
Flashback
Koneko and Hank were in the woods training and he blocks a punch.
"Your doing good Koneko, but you have a long way to go." He said.
"Need to get stronger." Koneko said.
"I know, but you need to get used to Senjutsu to get better, a friend had to meditate to absorb the natural energy." He said.
"Who was the friend?" Koneko asks him.
"Yuto." He reminded her.
"Lilith's father?" Koneko questions. Hank nods.
"I've been training with my own student so I can help." He said.
Koneko nods before she does a roundhouse kick.
He blocks her arm and he said: "You need to be one with the nature instead of brute force Koneko."
"It's hard to reconnect." Koneko said frowning.
"It started with the fact you rejected something that you thought was the problem but it was a lie." He said.
"Yeah." Koneko said with a sad nod.
He rubs her head with a smile. "It's okay, you can still do it, I believe in you."
Koneko blushes and smiles at that.
They dodged a blast and they saw Simulacra.
"You!" Hank said.
"Time to get rid of you." Simulacra said.
He shoots hand blasts at the two as they avoided the attacks and the robot charges foward.
Hank uses the Force to lifts some slightly big stones and throws them at Simulacra.
He blocks them with his arms and shoots another blast at Koneko.
Koneko side jumps out of the way.
"This feline is inferior." He said.
Koneko frowns at what Simulacra said about her and tries to throw a punch at it.
He catches it and throws her towards a tree making her crash against it.
Koneko gets up as the tree falls over.
Hank uses the force to push the tree away letting Simulacra get a hit in.
"Lucky shot." Hank grunts.
Simulacra then fires a large blast at Koneko.
She dodges before he punches her in the gut.
Koneko spits out some saliva from the force of the hit before Simulacra grabs her neck and tries to chock her.
"Koneko!" Hank charges but he got tackled by other Simulacra clones.
"You will be the first to die." Simulacra told her.
Koneko was scared but she sees Hank fighting. She didn't want to die and she didn't want Hank to die either.
Simulacra then saw her power rise up. "Hmm."
Koneko then grows older as her clothes change into a short white kimono and a light blue skirt. She grabs Simulacra arm and breaks it.
He got surprised and looks at her. "How could this cat be able to gain such strenght?"
She then kicks Simulacra in the stomach hard launching him away.
He recovers as his arms was starting to fix. "Your using natural energy."
"Yes. I denied a part of me and Nature since that day but no more." Koneko said with a serious look and tone.
Hank transforms into the Hulk surprising Koneko as he roars.
"What is this?" Koneko questions.
"Hulk smash metal man!" He charges at Simulacra and bashes him making the AI leave the body.
Hulk grunts before smashing the body a bit more.
He looks at Koneko and relaxes a bit.
"Hank?" Koneko asks a bit worried for him.
He changes back to normal. "Sorry you had to see that."
"Just glad you're ok." Koneko said hugging him.
He smiles and hugs her back. "You know, your prettier like this."
"Thank you." Koneko said blushing.
"Your welcome." He said.
Flashback ends
He blushes at the memory. "She was something."
Miya came. "Do you want some tea?"
"Oh yes." He nodded and he goes inside to spend time with Miya.
Meanwhile
Sota was at a hotel room relaxing and he looks at his phone.
"I wonder how my classmates are doing?" He said. "We had to deal with Red Tail."
Flashback
Red Tail are a group of women that protect other female students from a different school, taking them even despite it normally being bad for other but since the school was full of punks they got away with it.
Among them is the leader Aoi Kunieda, a girl with long black hair carrying a wooden wooden sword.
Red Tail go foward with the girls down the streets before they stopped to see Cromartie High students.
"Hey your from another school."
"You got a lot of nerve coming to our turf." Akira said.
"Take them down if they get in our way." Aoi commands.
The two girls in front got ready but then they saw Sota come foward. "It would be a bad decision, the numbers and power are not balanced, most of your girls are just normal school girls, theres no hope for you to win."
"What are you taking about?" A Red Tail demands.
"Uh, only a few of you are fights being you three, the rest are just normal students, how much of chance can you beat all of us." Sota said.
"Don't underestimate us." Aoi said glaring at him.
Chiaki Tanimura shoots water pistols at them but most dodge and the target that got hit was gorilla, Chiaki got nervous since gorilla is... A real gorilla as he stares at her.
Chiaki stares at it and backs away going behind Nene in fear.
"Chiaki?" Nene questions until she sees Gorilla and was scared as well.
Sota sees Aoi coming and he dodges her sword, she got surprised.
But how?! She thinks.
He kicks her back, the other girls got surprised by that, Aoi swings her wooden sword at him many times, she does a downwards swing.
Annie then appears in front of Sota making Aoi stop.
"Don't you dare harm daddy! Since he's the best daddy in the world..." She hugs Sota before glaring back at Aoi pointing a finger at her. "So I won't let you harm daddy."
Aoi was surprised before frowning.
"Is that so?" She questions.
"Yes, so how about you get out." He Said.
"I don't like the idea of hurting children." Aoi admits.
"Okay, then leave our turf. You already lost." He said.
Aoi looks at her sisters.
"How about something else to settle this?" Aoi suggests.
"What?" He said.
"A contest of different trials where you and I compete against each other." Aoi said.
"Seriously? Well okay if this would end this." He sighs.
"First we must decide on the number of trials and what they will be." Aoi said.
"Three will be fine." He said
"Very well." Aoi said. "We each choose 1 challenge we are good at and then the third challenge will be one we will be even at.
"Okay I decided the first one." Takashi said.
After that the event was ready.
"So let's get this started. Okay you need the press the buzzer once you know the answer."
Sota and Aoi were sitting at booths wearing hats.
"They're taking a quiz." Nene said.
Well it's not something I expected but this will do. Aoi thinks to herself.
"First question. What is the difference between an Alligator and a Crocodile?" The Quizmaster asks.
Sota answers. "They're colors and one is salt water while the other isn't."
"Correct! Nex question. How much of the human body is made out of water?" The Quizmaster questions.
Aoi answers. "Uh, 50?"
"Wrong." Quizmaster said.
"It was 60%." Sota said.
She looks down in shame.
They kept doing it before it was finished.
"The winner is Sota."
"No way?! Aoi lost?!" A Red Tail girl said in disbelief.
"Academics wasn't my best." Aoi cries a bit.
"Okay, as the loser you get to pick the next event." Takashi said.
"Understood." Aoi said as she thinks of one.
"We start fight in a kendo match." Aoi said making the Red Tails smirk.
They both got swords and she swings it at Sota who blocks the first strike.
Aoi quickly moves and swings another strike at him.
He takes out a second sword and blocks that one.
Aoi frowns before she starts slashing at Sota at high speeds.
He blocks them as he predicted each of the attacks and he charges foward.
Aoi grits her teeth.
They traded blows and the Red Tails were stunned to see Aoi get countered each time.
"How is this possible?" A Red Tail girl questions.
"Daddy is so cool, that he can almost see the future." Annie cheers.
"What?!" Nene exclaims in surprise.
Aoi clashed with Sota many times before they jumped to the side, but they were out.
"Look you dumbasses, you both got eliminated so it's a draw." Akira said.
Both looks at Akira in surprise.
"So it means if She wins the next event they would have another one." Takeshi said.
"Very well." Aoi said.
"Okay the third match shall be..." Sota decided and they were at a basketball court. "Basketball."
"Basketball?" Aoi questions.
"You picked something your good at, so our boss would do the same." A Cromartie High students said.
"Fine." Aoi said. The two went to get changed into suitable clothes.
The stared at each other and the balls goes up, they jumped and Sota gets it and he goes foward.
Aoi tries to stop him but Sota spins around her.
He then shoots the ball and scores.
Aoi frowns.
"Awesome shot daddy!" Annie cheers.
Aoi gets the ball and goes foward but Sota passes by stealing it. "Thank you."
Aoi was surprised but she got over it and tries to steal the ball back.
But Sota dodges her attempts and dunks it.
Aoi frowns even deeper.
"He's good." She said.
Sota goes around. "I'm the best at this game."
"You're cocky." Aoi said.
"No, just telling the truth." He said. "Because you don't have a single bit of experience in this game as I can tell by the way you play."
Aoi grunts as Sota was right.
"So i'm not going to let you win, since I love this sport and because of that I am the best because those that truly care about it will always win." Sota said.
"Even if you say that reality can be cruel." Aoi said.
"I already dealt with that, but I always went foward!" He charges towards the net with the ball.
Aoi rushes to stop him.
He dodges and moves around him and she saw the spirit he has, the one that faced through many trials and never gave up, he jumps up and dunks making the timer go off.
"The winner is Sota!"
"Aoi lost!" Nene said in shock.
Aoi was shocked too and Sota looks at her. "You know, it was interesting, you a strong one for a cute girl."
She had a blush before she got surprised with her face red. "Huh?!"
"Is he flirting with Aoi?!" Nene and the rest of the Red Tails exclaims in anger.
Cromartie High frowned and Shinjiro said: " He's just being nice."
"Also he's a introvert, they don't flirt." Akira said.
"So, he's just being honest without meaning it to be taken as flirting?" A Red Tail questions.
"Well yeah, but your friend doesn't seem to think like that." Akira said.
Aoi was blushing and acted tsundere. "What are you saying you idiot!"
Sota got confused. "What?"
"Daddy is dense." Annie said.
Sota frowns at her. "Annie don't say that."
Aoi looks at him. "I'll get you next time." She runs off.
The Red Tails follows after their leader.
"Bye bye." Annie said waving them goodbye.
"Also bye new mommy." Annie said to her making Aoi flinch.
"Mommy?" Aoi questions as the thoughts of being a mother comes into her head causing her to blush harder.
She goes away faster. I only have experience taking care of my little brother.
But she also has a thought of her married to Sota making her face blush even harder.
'Maybe I should consider it.' Aoi thinks.
She leaves for now and Sota said: "Well they're gone."
"Well that's over with for now." Akira said.
"Let's go back everyone." Sota said and they went away.
Flashback ends
"Still she was interesting." He said before taking a nap.
Nina came and cuddles with him and he grunts a bit before rubbing her head.
Guess I have to take care of her now. He thinks to himself.
Note: Here's a few flashback scenes of Hank and Sota, to show that Hank has been helping Koneko getting stronger and Sota met Aoi from Beelzebub.
