To Guest: I am on indefinite hiatus, so I am not sure what response you wanted from that. Writing these chapters helped me through my grieving process because it was fun and I enjoyed posting them on Discord for a few friends.

Ah, really?
'I really don't understand this girl,' Hawks sighed, 'Was she raised by a pack of wolves or something?' He shook his head slightly, 'Pretty sure wolves have been extinct in Japan for a while now. Someone Quirkless? She said didn't understand the concept of Quirks, but is that even possible?' He wondered, 'From what I've seen, she has multiple Quirks, even if she says they aren't. Was she experimented on and doesn't remember?'
He had to ask.
"Miko-chan, do you remember anything?" His voice was serious and quiet and he could feel Miko stiffen in his arms, so he tightened his grip around her, "The HPSC claims they found you out of nowhere with no known family. You gave them one word in a few years. Is there any particular reason 'Miko' is important to you?"
He flew to the top of a building and landed there, letting Miko go as she looked down to the ground while he stared down intently at her with glowing golden eyes.
"Do not avoid the question, Miko-chan," Hawks' expression turned a little more cool than his usual cheerful self, "You either remember things or you don't. If you don't want to tell me the details, fine. But you need to tell if you remember them."
"Everything is a blur!" Miko grabbed her head, trembling, "Like a dream that's out of reach! Every time I try to remember, it hurts!" A pained look appeared on her paling face, "The only things I can remember is that I was a part of a pack – a family! And the Alpha was Onii-san! He gave me Kurikaramaru."
"You have a brother?" Hawks asked, "What is his name?" He crossed his arms, gloves fingers digging into his arms at the new information, "More importantly, what's your name?"
"His name is Sesshou–" Miko began, but then a distressed look came over her and she doubled over, scratching at her head and whimpering in pain, "Please, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Shikon."
She could feel Hawks kneel down beside her, practically shouting at her if she was all right, but she could barely hear his voice over the one ringing in her head.
"Oh, my dear precious Miko, what have I told you? Forget, forget, forget it all. You may yet find happiness here."
"It's okay, it's fine!" Hawks wrapped his arms around the shuddering girl, stroking her hair, "You don't have to remember anything. It's okay, I mean it," He cursed himself mentally, wiping a stray tear from Miko's face, 'It was way too soon for this.'
Miko clung to Hawks' front, both relieved and angered that that she could not remember her past, "I-I'm sorry," She muttered into his jacket, "I'm sorry... Hawks-sama."
Hawks blinked before grinning, ruffling the girl's hair, "Hey, I think that's actually the first time you called me by my name," He laughed, "But seriously, drop the 'sama'. Totally cramps my style," He sighed, "But you know what? It's a secret you can tell no one and I trust you with that," He winked when she looked at him with red-rimmed eyes, "My real name is Takami Keigo."
"Keigo..." Miko repeated, "I will tell no one, even if my life is at stake," She bowed her head, to which Hawks sighed as he rubbed his hand through his hair, knowing this was going to become one of his own new habit, "I promise."
"No need to go that far~!" Hawks patted her head, to which her eyes watered at and he wondered if this 'Sesshou' had often repeated this action, "If your life is in danger, you're definitely free to tell them my name."
Miko stared at him with those blue eyes of hers and Hawks found himself uncharacteristically flustered as they still were hugging and Miko did not seem to mind that she was pressed so closely to him and that–
"My name is Kagome."
Huh?
