Intro:
A police car drives around.
S.P.D Emergency!
The car skids to a stop, as its sirens wail.
The six Rangers then run along a street together.
Jack then jumps his bike up from an explosion. Syd hits a Krybot while jumping up with Deltamax Striker blade. Sky lifts his bike's front wheel up. Val skids her bike to a stop in front of a Blue Head. Bridge lifts up from his bike and kicks two Krybots away, while holding onto the handles. Z spins around as a Orange Head tries to hit her. Cruger stands behind an explosion in the quarry. They all stand in the cockpit of the Delta Command Megazord as it powers up, before their numbers are counted down. The Delta Squad Megazord does the Delta Strike. The sirens on the Cruger's helmet beeps, followed by the others, before Jack fires the Canine Cannon, as Sky and Bridge point their hands forward, Z and Syd touch Jack's shoulders, and Val holds the top.

RIC runs away from the Delta Base, while part of the screen shows him changing into the Canine Cannon.

Delta Runner 1 drives down a tunnel. Delta Runner 2 flies above the city, then Delta Runner 3 pulls over. Delta Runners 4 and 5 race through the city, while Delta Runner 6 skids to a stop.
They then all come out of their spots from the Delta Command Crawler.

The Delta Squad Megazord stands in front of the Delta Command Megazord, which salutes.

At night time in the city, as thunder roared in the sky, all was quiet in a bookstore, when the storekeeper came into the main room, which was filled with books all over like a libarey. He looked at a large book, when lighting shot through the window and hit it, which blew it open. The storekeeper gasped as he saw a glowing black stone in the book, which roared.
"It's awake!" he gasped, as the stone was evil. "The Evil is awake!"
On Grumm's ship, Grumm sat in his private chamber, having heard the Evil's awakening.
"Yes, I have felt it." he said. "It can mean only one thing; the Evil has awakened from its slumber. I will send one of my minions down to find it for me. Yes. An army with the stone at its side, will be most powerful. I will use it to destroy the Power Rangers, and crush anything that gets in my way!"
He laughed while waving his arms, as his eyes glowed.
In the Delta Base the next day, all seven Rangers were in the simulation room, Cruger facing the others. (Val was between Jack and Syd)
"Commander, with all due respect, sir, are you sure you really wanna do this?" Jack asked, as they walked forward slightly.
"Yeah? It hardly seems fair, the six of us against you." Sky said.
"I'll try my best." Cruger assured. "Now suit up!"
Jack took out his morpher and held it up.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Ready!" the others said, doing the same.
"SPD Emergency!"
"SPD Emergency!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split into six, Sky in the top left, Jack in the top middle, Bridge in the top right, Syd in the bottom left, Z in the bottom middle, Val in the bottom right. They all pressed their morpher's buttons, shooting out the holograms on their suits, before they morphed up, then their helmets appeared on them.
Cruger pressed his morpher's button, which glowed bright, before he ripped his outfit off, covering his body in bright light. He jumped as the floor opened up beneath him, before he dived down and morphed up, then his helmet came onto him, before he did his fight pose.
"Shadow Ranger!"

"Ready, Rangers?" Cruger asked.
The girls held up their blades while Jack held up both his blasters, while Sky and Bridge held up their knuckles.
"Hyah! Ready." they said.
"Rooftop simulation." Cruger said.
The simulation room changed into a rooftop with a parking lot.
"Take your positions." Jack ordered, as the others ran off.
"Hyah!" they yelled.
Sky and Bridge both stopped on Cruger's left and stared at him, while the girls did the same on his right.
"Ha. This should be fun." Cruger smirked.
"Easy now." Sky said.
"We got him surrounded." Z said.
She turned her blade around, holding it up, as Syd held hers sideways - pointing it to her right - while Val held hers up, pointing it forward.
"I'm going in!" Jack said.
He jumped up and fired his blasters at Cruger, who took out his sword, then deflected all the blasts with it.
"Hyah!" Jack yelled, as he kept firing.
Cruger deflected those blasts too, which hit the roof and made sparks come up from it, as Jack landed crouched down.
"No way?!" Jack exclaimed, getting up.
"I saw that coming from a mile away, Jack." Cruger said. "You'll have to be quicker."
"Yes, sir." Jack understood, saluting.
"Now it's our turn." Sky said, as he and Bridge readied themselves.
They both charged at Cruger, who turned to them, then he slashed Bridge's knuckle with his sword, knocking Bridge past him. He then hit Sky's knuckle with his sword, knocking Sky to his left, then he turned and slashed Bridge slightly, who raised up his knuckle but missed the sword. He turned to Sky, blocking a kick from him with his sword, followed by a punch from Sky, then he knocked Sky's arm up with his sword, then he tried to slash Sky, who turned around and moved away.
"Bridge!" Sky called, putting his hands in a boost position.
"On it!" Bridge said.
He jumped up slightly, putting his foot on Sky's hands, who boosted him up, then he dived towards Cruger. Cruger grabbed his right forearm and spun around while holding him, then he ducked as Sky tried to whack him with his knuckle. He then held up his sword, catching Sky by surprise, who barely blocked it with his left wrist.
"Is that all you have?" Cruger asked.
"Sir, no, sir." Sky answered.
"Bridge?" Cruger said, turning to him.
"No sir!" Bridge grunted, clutching his shoulder.
Cruger let go of him and walked off towards the girls, as Sky and Bridge turned to him.
"Man, he is tough." Sky admitted, rubbing his neck.
"You're not kidding." Bridge agreed.
"How 'bout some girl power!" Syd said.
The girls held up their blades, then Syd spun hers around to stab Cruger, who blocked it with his sword, then he blocked Val's as she tried to slash him. Z spun around and tried to slash him, but missed as he moved away, then he spun around as she tried again. She bent down, allowing Syd to roll over her back, then Syd tried to slash Cruger, who ducked and spun around to avoid her blade. Z grabbed Val's hand, who then moved forward to stab Cruger, but missed as he dodged, before Val rolled past him. Z rolled forward, then tried to slash Cruger's legs, but missed as he jumped up slightly, then she got up as Syd spun around, while Val also got up behind him. They all then tried to slash him, but he blocked their blades with his forearms, which he then raised up, causing them all to back flip onto their chests.
"AH!" Z yelped.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped.
"¡Guau!" Val yelped.
Cruger grabbed Syd's arm and helped her up, as Val and Z pulled themselves up.
"You three work well as a team, but you must train harder." he said.
"Okay." Z understood, nodding.
"Understood?" Cruger asked.
"Yes, sir." the girls said.
"Good." Cruger said, turning to Val.
He turned away and walked off, as the girls stared at him.
"Yeah." Syd said, putting the end of her sword in her left hand.
"I'm glad he's on our side." Z said, lowering her head.
"Yeah. I bet he can beat Grumm all by himself." Syd said, putting her sword up, her hand on her chin, before holding her fists up.
"For someone who hasn't fought in years, that be impressive." Val admitted.
Cruger stopped walking as the others gathered together, his back to them all.
"Rangers, you are a team. You must work as such." he told them.
"Alright." Jack said, as Sky and Bridge took out their blades. "If that's how you want it?"
"Yah!" they all yelled.
All but Jack ran forward, before Val jumped up and somersaulted forward to slash Cruger, but he blocked her blade with his sword, then she spun around to kick him, but missed as he ducked, then she rolled away as he tried to slash her. Syd and Z both jumped up and dived down to slash Cruger as he turned around, but he blocked their blades with his sword, before he tried to slash them, but they both rolled past him. Sky and Bridge came up on either side of him to slash him, but he blocked their blades with his sword, before he pulled back, then he ran past them both as they tuned around, before he slashed them both.
"Whoa!" Bridge yelped.
"Uh!" Sky moaned.
They both rolled past each other as Cruger turned around.
"Huh?" he muttered, looking up.
Jack dived down to kick him, but he put his hands together and blocked it, making Jack back flip away.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
He landed on his feet as the others all got up, holding their blasters. (Val was between Sky and Bridge)
"Hmm?" Cruger muttered, looking around slightly.
"Got ya this time!" the Rangers said.
Z aimed her blaster at Cruger, followed by Sky, Val, Bridge, Syd, and then Jack aimed both of his.
"Fire!" Jack shouted.
They all fired, but Cruger jumped up, dodging the blasts, then he landed near Z. He then dashed around and slashed her like a blur, folllowed by Sky, Val, Bridge, Syd, and then Jack.
"Uh!" Jack yelped.
He held his arms out as he fell onto his back.
"Ah... Uh!" he moaned.
Cruger turned slightly while pointing his sword at Jack.
Later, the B-Squad - expect Jack - were all in the Common Room, shocked by Cruger's strength. Bridge sat in a beanbag reading a book, while Syd sat in a chair, with Z lying on her chest in the next one, both with some cards, while Val sat in another with a sandwich, as Sky came over with two cups of coffee. Also in the room were two other Cadets by the arcade machine, both playing virtual golf with goggles.
"Man, I thought I was strong, but I can't believe the strength of Shadow Ranger." Sky said.
He handed Syd one of the cups, who took it.
"Thanks." she said, before putting it on the table between them.
"Tell me about it." Val sighed. "He didn't even break a sweat back there."
"I know. It's like all of us put together, times two, couldn't beat one of him, times one." Bridge said, counting on his fingers as Sky sat in the chair beside him.
"Come again?" Z asked confused.
"Shadow Ranger's twice as strong as all of us combined." Val translated.
"Thanks." Z said, going back to her cards.
"Personally, as much as I love saving the planet, with Shadow here, I'll have more time to work on my tan." Syd said.
Z scoffed.
"And I can check out my bed." Bridge said, holding his hand up.
Val choked slightly on her sandwich.
"How do you check out your bed?" Z asked, turning to him.
"Well-" Bridge began.
"Wait, I don't wanna know." Z said, holding her hand up.
"Neither do I." Val said. "And thanks for making my choke on my food."
"Sorry." Bridge said.
The door opened up and Jack came in, his jacket loose.
"Okay, game over." he told the Cadet playing golf. "It's way past your bedtime."
"Yes, sir." one Cadet said.
Jack hopped onto the chair Syd sat in, sitting on the top as the two Cadets took their goggles off.
"Why are you so chipper?" Sky asked, reading the handbook.
"Well, Sky, with Shadow Ranger here..." Jack began, taking his jacket off. "...it's a big weight off my shoulders..."
He began to sit down beside Syd.
"...so, I can just sit back, relax..." he said, grabbing a pillow and putting it behind him. "...and go with the flow."
"We still have to be ready for battle." Sky reasoned.
"Sky's right." Val agreed. "Who knows what Grumm might plan next."
Bridge rolled his eyes and leaned back.
"Guys, you both saw how strong Shadow Ranger is?" Jack recalled.
"Yeah." Z said, sitting up. "What's to worry about?"
Jack shook his head as Syd shrugged, before Val smiled.
"You've got a point." she said.
"I guess you're right." Sky said.
He closed the handbook and put it down.
"With Shadow Ranger here, we're golden." he said, unzipping his jacket.
"All right." Syd said.
"Yes!" Z whooped, punching her arms arm.
Val smiled and took a bite from her sandwich.
"Yeah." Sky said, high-fiving Bridge.
In the city that night, a werewolf/vampire/bat themed alien called Drakel - who was a Vampiranoid - was walking down a street with a tracking device. He wore bracelets on his ankles and forearms, while his body was mostly white, expect his torso with was red.
"It's here somewhere." he said. "I know it!"
He stopped and ran his left hand out in front of him.
"And when I locate the Evil, Grumm will reward me with riches beyond compare." he said, clutching his fist.
He laughed evilly while holding the tracker up.
At the Delta Base, the Rangers were all asleep in their rooms. A square showing Syd asleep on her side moved along the screen, showing she had cotton earphones and guacamole on her face. Another showing Z moved and got below her, showing her asleep on her back with headphones on, as another two showed Sky and Bridge, which moved so they were both side Syd - Bridge asleep on her side, Sky his back. Another showing Val moved up and got below Sky, showing her asleep on her chest, as one showing Jack popped up beside her, asleep on his back. They all lay asleep, when the alarm went off, waking them all up.
"Ah!" they gasped.
They all got out of bed.
(Kat's lab)
Kat sat behind her desk.
"Rangers, the perp is downtown. Let's move it." she said.
(Elsewhere)
The Rangers all met up in the Common Room, Val rubbing her eyes, as Z and Syd stumbled.
"Oh!" Syd yelped.
She turned around and put her cotton headphones onto her neck, as Bridge entered the room as they all formed a line. (Val was on Z's right)
"Ah!" he yelped, seeing Syd.
"OH!" she screamed.
"Sorry. I thought I was still dreaming." Bridge said.
"Funny! I can't believe I have to fight evil with guacamole on my face." Syd groaned.
Sky shrugged as Val and Z turned to her, before Bridge got on Syd's left and turned around.
Jack took out his morpher and held it up.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Ready!" the others said, doing the same.
"SPD Emergency!"

In the city, Drakel was walking down an alley with his tracker, before he stopped.
"I'm close. I can feel it." he said.
The Rangers all showed up behind him.
"Ah!" he growled, turning around.
"Hey, hold it right there?" Jack said, pointing at him.
"Says who?" Drakel spat.
The Rangers began doing their fight poses.
"SPD Red!"
"SPD Blue!"
"SPD Green!"
"SPD Yellow!"
"SPD Pink!"
"SPD Purple!"
"Space Patrol Delta!" they all said, stomping their left feet, holding their left fists up, with their right hands behind them.
The screen split into six, Sky in the top left, Jack in the top middle, Syd in the top right, Z in the bottom left, Val in the bottom middle, Bridge in the bottom right. The sirens on their helmets wailed, before they stood up and held up their morphers.
"Defenders of Earth!" they shouted, as the 'Police' badge popped up behind them.
Drakel growled as Z took a few steps forward.
"Kat said this guy's big trouble." she said.
"He sure looks it." Bridge noted.
"Get outta my way, or be destroyed!" Drakel spat, no longer with his tracker.
Jack ran forward with his blasters.
"Fire!" he shouted, as he stopped and aimed them.
He fired them both, hitting Drakel all over, but he wasn't phased as they bounced off him, with one hitting the ground in front of him, making sparks come up from it. He laughed as smoke came up in front of him, before he stepped through it.
"What?!" Jack exclaimed, looking at his blasters. "No way?"
The others brought out their blades and got in front of him.
"Hyah!" they yelled, charging forward.
Drakel charged forward as Sky tried to slash him, but he blocked it with his hand, then clawed Sky's chest, knocking him past him. He turned and kicked Bridge's chest, knocking him away, then he clawed at Z's chest, then he turned and clawed Val's with both hands.
"Uh!" she moaned, stumbling away.
Drakel turned around and blocked Sky's blade with his right hand, before clawing him with his left, making him spin around, then Drakel slashed him with his right claw, knocking him away. He turned to Syd, who came at him, then he bent down and rammed his head against her, before he lifted her up slightly and sent her flying away.
"AH!" he growled.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped.
She hit the ground and rolled over, then tried to get up, when Drakel grabbed her arm, then he threw her away.
"Whoa!" she yelped.
Jack caught her and helped her down, as the others gathered around them.
"Syd, you alright?" he asked.
"Yeah." Syd replied.
"I'm not through." Drakel spat.
He shot lasers from his eyes, as Jack dived in front of the others with his arms out, taking most of the blasts, while the rest hit the ground near the others.
"Whoa!" Bridge yelped.
"WHOA!" the others yelped.
They all hit the ground hard, Bridge rolling over, as Drakel laughed. Jack and Syd lay on their backs, the others their chests, as Sky dug his blade into the ground, trying to get up.
"We need Shadow Ranger." Jack said.
He took out his morpher and opened it up in 'Phone' mode.
"Commander..." he said.
(Delta Base)
Cruger and Kat both stared at a panel screen, which showed the Rangers.
"Shadow Ranger, come in?" Jack said.
He and Syd turned to each other, as Bridge and Val panted.
Cruger looked at the screen.
"Ah." he sighed, lowering his head.
He pressed a button and terminated the communication, before he turned and walked off.
"Uh..." Kat began, confused by his behavior.
(The city)
"Shadow Ranger?" Jack repeated, before turning to Drakel. "Huh?"
Drakel shot more lasers from his eyes, hitting the Rangers as they got up.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped.
"AH!" they moaned, sparks coming from their suits.
They all hit the ground and rolled onto their chests.
"Uh!" they moaned, panting.
"This is brutal!" Jack groaned. "Why won't he come help us?"
"Now, to finish the job." Drakel said.
He charged at the Rangers.
"NO!" Z gasped.
"No buena" Val gasped.
"Look out?!" Jack cried.
"Oh, no!" Syd said.
Drakel kept charging forward, when the sun suddenly rose up, making him stop.
"Ah! No, the sun!" Drakel exclaimed.
He stumbled back with his forearms raised over his face.
"Huh?" the Rangers muttered, shocked.
"What's going on?" Jack said.
"Fire!" Sky shouted, holding his blaster.
He fired it, then Bridge fired his, both hitting Drakel's right forearm, causing the bracelet on it to fly off him.
"I'll be back." he promised.
He turned around and ran off, before he jumped up, as the Rangers all got up, Jack firing his blasters at him, but missed.
"Ah!" Bridge gasped, falling onto his chest.
Sky and the girls all fell to their knees, followed by Jack, him and Sky clutching their chests, when the bracelet hit the ground.
"Look, he dropped something." Jack said.
Later, in the Delta Base, Cruger stood by the center panel in the Command Room, when the B-Squad all came - now in uniform and Syd with her face clean - Sky carrying the bracelet Drakel had dropped.
"Alright, so what's the deal leaving us high and dry on the battlefield?" Jack asked.
"Why didn't you bust out Shadow Ranger?" Syd asked, as they all stopped. (Val was on Z's left)
"I thought we were a team?" Sky inquired.
"I was busy." Cruger answered.
"Busy?" Jack questioned, as Z and Bridge turned to each other.
"Busy doing what, sir?" Val asked, folding her arms.
Cruger turned around to them all.
"Before Shadow, you didn't need my help." he said. "You did fine."
"Fine as in 'Good', or fine as in 'We weren't doing too well, but in order to spare our feelings, you just said fine'?" Bridge inquired, as Kat came in and approached them.
Syd rolled her eyes as Z turned to Val to translate.
"Somebody wanted to see me?" Kat asked, before Val could.
"Yes. Kat, last night that thing dropped this device as he fled." Sky explained, holding it up. "Any idea what it could be?"
"Kat is not to assist you." Cruger said.
The Rangers all turned to him.
"You do not need her help or that of anyone from the Crime Lab." Cruger said.
"But-" Jack began.
"Dismissed!" Cruger barked.
The Rangers sighed, with Z looking confused, as Kat looked at them all. They all turned and walked off, before she approached Cruger.
"Do you know what this means?" she asked.
"That will be all, Kat." Cruger said. "Thank you."
Kat turned and walk off out of the room, as Cruger turned around and put his hands together.
A little later, in the city, Broodwing walked towards Drakel in a warehouse in an abandoned alleyway, Drakel wearing a black cape over his body.
"This had better be worth my while? I'm making some very important clients wait." Broodwing said.
"I need your help." Drakel explained. "I'm looking for-"
"The Evil? Yes, I know." Broodwing said, turning away. "The Power Rangers are looking as well."
"If I don't find it first, Grumm will vaporize me." Drakel explained, punching his fist. "And as you can see, I'm a Vampiranoid. I can't go into the sunlight."
"Quite a quandary." Broodwing noted.
"Can you see me a sun-shield and distract the Power Rangers?" Drakel asked.
Broodwing laughed. "With enough money, anything's possible." he said.
Drakel frowned and pulled some money out from the cape.
"Is this enough?" he asked, handing it to him.
Broodwing laughed and took the money from him.
"It's a start." he said.
At Piggy's Café, a bunch of aliens were sitting at tables eating - including ones resembling Dash and Teska - when Piggy handed two their food.
"Enjoy." he said.
"It's SPD!" a woman alien cried.
The aliens all turned before they got up and ran off, several knocking their tables and chairs over as they did.
"Hey!" Piggy said.
He saw the B-Squad all came towards him, Bridge holding the device.
"Why do you insist on coming here and chasing away my cliental?" he asked, annoyed. "They haven't done anything. Well, not today anyway."
He turned around and approached his trailer.
"We didn't come here to bust anyone, but we will if you don't give us the information we need." Sky warned.
"And we're only here because we don't have another option right now." Val explained.
"Oh, fine." Piggy sighed, turning around near the door.
"Fine as in-" Bridge began.
"Bridge!" Z said annoyed.
Bridge turned to her, then back to Piggy.
"Right. Um, what is this thing and what does it do?" he asked Piggy, holding up the device.
"Oh!" Piggy gasped, backing away slightly. "The...Evil..."
"Piggy?" Jack said.
"Where did you get this?" Piggy asked, pointing at the device.
"Off some goon." Sky answered. "What is it?"
"The Evil has awakened!" Piggy gasped, playing with his fingers.
"Huh?" Jack muttered.
"Evil what?" Z asked.
"Yeah? Piggy, what are you talking about?" Val asked, folding her arms.
"That's a class 5 containment field, used only to hold the Evil St..." Piggy began nervously. "That's it. We're closed!"
He pointed at his 'Closed' sign, then began to run off, before Jack held his hand out in front of him.
"Hey, what is the Evil?" Jack asked.
"Legend says it's a piece of the abyss." Piggy said.
He began to run off as the Rangers turned to him.
"Wait a minute?" Sky asked, making him stop. "You mean-"
"Yes, a stone brought back from the depths of Hadis, used to level mountains and boil oceans." Piggy explained. "It hibernates for a hundred years, and when it awakens, the most treacherous creatures in the galaxy will try to obtain it. And if they do... A maniac with the Evil on its side would be...unstoppable. Oh!"
He made his way back to his trailer.
"Where is it?" Syd asked.
"Huh?" Piggy muttered, stopping in the doorway.
"Piggy, where is this Evil Stone?" Val asked.
"Look no further than your own backyard. Ye olde book store." Piggy answered, with a British accent.
The Rangers turned to each other.
"The Evil has been guarded for..." Piggy explained.
Later, the Rangers were all at the Whitecliffe Bookstore, which was where Piggy had told them where the Evil was.
"...2000 years by an great warrior."
Sky entered the main room, followed by the others as they looked around.
"This old place?" Sky questioned, as Jack picked up a book.
"Hardly seems like a great warrior guarding an ancient evil stone would be here?" Jack said.
Sky crouched down near a chair as the others kept looking around.
"Well, with a hundred years between gigs, maybe he likes to read." Bridge reasoned.
Jack opened his book and looked at him, as Sky and Z opened one up.
"A lot." Bridge added.
"Good theory actually." Val said. "He might read a lot in his spare time."
An old green-skinned alien with grey hair and a beard called Baskin popped out from behind one of the bookshelves.
"Hello? Oh, ho, ho, welcome, welcome." he said, as the Rangers turned to him.
Sky and Z closed their books - Sky putting his - down as they all approached Bridge.
"Uh, Baskin's my name, and olde books are my game." Baskin said, bowing his head. "How can I be of service?"
"You, uh, you work here alone, Baskin?" Jack asked.
"Uh, no. JB works right alongside of me." Baskin answered.
"JB, huh?" Sky inquired.
"Yes, JB, my pet turtle." Baskin said.
He turned to JB and stroked him, who sat on a small pile of books.
"He keeps my company on slow day. Get it, slow day?" he joked.
He laughed as Bridge and Z smiled, while Sky looked annoyed.
"We're looking for an Evil Stone." Syd explained.
"Oh? Evil Stone? Well, let me see?" Baskin said, touching his beard.
He turned to a small pile of books near JB.
"I've Rolling Stones, and Romancing Stone, Sword in the Stone...but no Evil Stone." he said. "Sorry."
"Okay, this can't be the place." Jack deduced.
"I knew we couldn't trust Piggy." Sky said, as Z shook her head.
"I thought Cruger said we could do this by ourselves?" Z recalled. "Why won't he help us?"
"I don't know." Val shrugged. "It's like he doesn't wanna help."
Their morpers beeped, making Jack take his out and opened it up in 'Phone' mode.
"What's up, Kat?" he asked.
(Delta Base)
Kat sat in her lab behind her desk.
"The West Side is under attack. I'm sending the Runners." she explained.
(Bookstore)
Jack closed up his morpher and put it away.
"Looks like there's really Ranger work to be done." Sky said.
The Rangers all turned and walked towards the door.
"Well then, bye-bye." Baskin said, waving.
Z waved back as the Rangers all approached the door.
"Bye." Bridge said.
"Adiós." Val said.
"See you later." Z said.
"Bye." Syd said.
Once they left room, Baskin held up his cane, putting the end on his shoulder, before he picked up a larger book. He turned so his back was to the door, then opened it up, looking at the glowing Evil Stone, as he'd lied to the Rangers.
"Just the book I've been looking for." said a voice.
Baskin turned around and saw Drakel standing by the door, holding a trident staff.
"Hand it over, old man?" Drakel demanded. "Give me the Evil?!"
"You do not know who I am?" Baskin assumed, with a deeper voice.
"Nor care. I'm taking the Evil one way or the other." Drakel spat, twirling his staff around, before holding it up with both hands.
"Not on my watch, you won't." Baskin promised, waving his cane around.
He held it up, before it turned into a sword.
"You didn't think I was going to hand it over, did you?" he smirked, making Drakel growl. "I am the Keeper."
He held up his sword.
"Keep this?" Drakel growled.
He charged at Baskin, who spun around and moved away from him, before he jumped sideways away as Drakel tried to stab him. They then slashed their weapons together twice, before Baskin jumped past Drakel and onto a box as he tried to ram him. He then jumped off the box and landed behind Drakel, who turned around, then Drakel moved to slash him, but Baskin jumped past him and landed behind him, then he ran off, as Drakel growled and chased after him.
In the city, Broodwing was hanging upside down from a building, staring at a Conerose Robot climbing out of the ground. This one was like the one Ringbah piloted, only it was orange instead of blue.
"This battle should keep the Power Rangers busy." he chuckled.
The Conerose Robot began to march off, when Delta Runner 1 turned left past a building and raced towards it.
"There it is!" Jack said.
The Conerose Robot kept marching off.
The screen split into six, from left to right, Sky, Z, Jack, Val, Syd and Bridge, all inside their cockpits.
"Delta Squad Megazord!" they shouted.
The Delta Runners all combined into the Delta Squad Megazord, with Delta Runner 1's back rotated down, showing the head.
The Delta Blaster shot out of Delta Runner 3, which it caught in its right hand, then every loose bit retracted inside, forming the Delta Squad Megazord, which held up the Delta Blaster as the sirens around its body wailed.
It held up its Delta Sword while staring at the Conerose Robot.
"Who are we fighting?" Sky questioned.
"Let me check?" Syd said, holding her hand in an 'O' shape.
She opened up her morpher in 'Phone' mode, then began to type on it. The Conerose Robot began to get scanned, before it zoomed in on the cockpit, showing it was piloted by a Blue-Head.
"What?!" she exclaimed. "It's just a foot soldier!"
"No way?!" Sky exclaimed.
"A Blue-Head?" Jack questioned.
"What?" Bridge questioned.
"Then that means..." Val began.
"We've been tricked!" Z finished.
Back in the bookstore, Baskin ran into a storage room, before he hid behind a shelf, placing the book among others there. He turned as Drakel entered the room and looked around, growling.
"Come on, you ugly mutt?" Baskin dared, stepping out.
Drakel charged at him, then Baskin dodged as Drakel tried to slash him, before they slashed their weapons together twice, knocking Drakel's staff up. Baskin spun around as Drakel tried to slash him, hitting the edge of a shelf, then Drakel moved back and spun around as Baskin ran forward. He kicked his foot against a shelf and dived to kick Drakel, but missed as he moved back, before he landed on his feet. He held up his sword and blocked Drakel's staff with it, before he bent down and skidded past Drakel, who tried to slash him.
Baskin got up and turned, before he jumped and dived towards Drakel, who held up his staff and backed away, dodging a fly kick. Baskin landed in front of him and tried to slash him, but he blocked it with his staff, before Baskin slashed him across the chest. He ran off to his right slightly, before he turned and ran at Drakel, who ducked, making him roll over his back, then they turned to each other, as Baskin lifted his right leg up behind him. He spun around and put it on Drakel's staff, before he slashed the bottom of it, sending the staff flying across the room, getting wedged into a box, sending papers flying all over from the top of it.
Baskin spun around and moved away, as Drakel spun around.
"No!" he groaned, part of his cape falling off. "Impressive, old man."
Baskin grinned as several of the papers flew past them.
"You're using Bonetti's defence." Drakel noted.
"Naturally." Baskin chuckled.
"But it won't work forever!" Drakel growled.
He jumped onto a crate in front of him, then dived towards Baskin.
"AHHH!" he growled.
"Huh?" Baskin gasped.
In the city, the Delta Squad Megazord blocked the Conerose Robot's bladed arm with its sword, before it shot lighting from its claw arm, hitting its chest and knocking it back as sparks came out of it.
(Delta Base)
Cruger and Kat stood in the Command Room, watching the battle on a panel screen.
"Whoa!" Jack yelped.
The Delta Squad Megazord hit the ground on its back.
"Doggie, you have to help." Kat said.
"No." Cruger said firmly, his hands on his hips.
"What are you waiting for?" Kat exclaimed.
"If it ends today, it ends." Cruger said.
Kat sighed and shook her head, wondering why he wasn't going out to help.
(The city)
The Conerose Robot fired lighting from its eye.
"Roll and fire!" Jack shouted, turning his wheel.
The Delta Squad Megazord rolled along the ground and fired the Delta Blaster a few times, hitting the Conerose Robot several times, making sparks come out of it.
In the bookstore, Baskin jumped and spun around to kick Drakel with both feet, but missed as he dodged slightly, while his sword was dug into a box near Drakel. He put his feet down, then spun around to chop Drakel, but he blocked it with his forearm, then he spun around and moved away, pulling his sword free. Drakel blocked the sword with his left forearm, before he punched Baskin's chest, knocking him away.
"OH!" he moaned.
He hit and rolled along the shelf the books were, knocking them over as he hit the floor on the other side, including the one with the Evil Stone. He dropped his sword, then began to crawl under the shelf towards the book, when opened it up.
"I'll take that." Drakel said.
(Delta Base)
Cruger and Kat kept staring at the panel screen, which now showed Drakel in the bookstore.
Drakel laughed as he picked up the Evil Stone.
"At last." he said.
Kat gasped.
"Hmm?" Cruger muttered.
(The bookstore)
"No! Not without a containment field!" Baskin gasped.
Drakel kept hold of the Evil as it glowed brightly, causing purple lighting to surge through his body, as his cape fell off him. His eyes glowed brightly, before he lowered his hands down, as the Evil surged through him, changing his body so it was dark blue now.
"AH!" he roared, holding his arms up. "I can feel the Evil becoming part of me. Now nothing can stand in my way!"
He clutched his fists.
(Delta Base)
The Delta Squad Megazord got up and stared at the Conerose Robot.
"Rangers, Drakel has taken the Evil and fled." Cruger explained. "You must intercept him."
(The city)
"In a minute?" Jack said.
The sirens wailed all over the Delta Squad Megazord, which aimed its Delta Blaster, as the Conerose Robot charged forward.
The screen split into six, the Rangers numbers in their spots, before they began appearing in their places, one by one.
"6!"
"5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"Fire!" they all shouted, holding their right hands like pistols.
The Delta Squad Megazord fired its Delta Blaster several times, hitting the Conerose Robot, making sparks come out of it, before it fell onto its back and blew up.
"Got him." Jack said, holding up his thumb.
"We're not done yet." Z reminded him.
They all jumped down towards the ground, then began to run off.
"Come on?" Jack said.
They kept running, but then stopped when Drakel came diving towards them.
"AHH!" he roared.
He dived past them all and hit them with his claws - Jack, Bridge and Val his right, Sky, Z and Syd with his left.
"Even the sunlight can't affect me anymore." he said happily.
He landed on his feet as the Rangers all fell down.
"Uh!" they moaned.
Drakel turned around as they pulled themselves up slightly, his eyes glowing.
"Now that I have the Evil, I'm unstoppable!" he declared.
"That's what you think?" Syd said, as the Rangers got to their feet. (Val was between Jack and Bridge)
"That's what I know." Drakel corrected, his body glowing and flowing with lighting. "No one can match my strength."
"Ha! You haven't met the Shadow Ranger." Sky said, clutching his fist.
"Shadow, smadow." Drakel scoffed.
He shot two tentacles from his left hand, which wrapped around Sky and Jack.
"Uh!" Sky moaned.
"Ah!" Jack gasped.
Drakel pulled them both forward.
"Oh, no!" the girls gasped, as Bridge reached out.
"Hey!" he said.
"¡Detener!" Val demanded.
Drakel pulled on his tentacles, making Sky duck and roll past Jack, who ran past him, tying the tentacles around each other, before he pulled again, making them both flip onto their backs.
"Uh!" they moaned.
Drakel pulled again as they both got to their knees, before he pulled hard, making them both fly over him, as the tentacles retracted.
"Whoa!" they yelled.
Drakel laughed as they both hit the ground in a parking lot on their backs, twirling one of the tentacles around.
"Ready for more?" he asked, as Jack rolled onto his chest.
Jack pulled himself up as Sky rolled onto his stomach, then got to his knees.
"Look out!" Jack yelled.
Drakel laughed as he pulled the tentacle like a whip.
"Huh?" he muttered, turning around.
Bridge dived towards him with his blade.
"Yah!" he yelled.
"Hyah!" Drakel roared, cracking his tentacle at him, hitting his chest.
"AH!" Bridge moaned.
He turned and hit the ground on his back, as the girls gathered around him with their blades.
"You alright, Bridge?" Val asked, as Z and Syd charged forward.
"Yeah." Bridge replied, rolling over and getting up to his knees.
"We'll get him." Syd said.
Z tried to hit Drakel, but he knocked her blade with his right hand, then slashed her chest with his left.
"Oh!" she moaned.
Syd rolled away as Drakel tried to slash her, then he blocked a slash from Val's blade with his left hand, before clawing her with his right, knocking her away.
"OH!" she moaned, spinning around.
Bridge tried to slash Drakel, but he knocked his blade down, then he kicked his chest, knocking him down. Drakel turned around as Sky came at him with his blade, which he blocked with his hand, before slashing Sky's chest.
"AH!" Sky moaned.
Drakel turned and slashed Syd's chest with both claws as she came up beside him.
"OH!" she moaned.
Jack tried to punch Drakel, but he blocked it by knocking Jack's arm up, before he clawed his chest, knocking him away.
"OH!" he moaned. "Ah!"
He hit the ground and rolled over, as Sky rolled in front of him, before they got up slightly, as the others gathered around them. (Val was on Bridge's left) Drakel laughed as he stared at them all, before Jack got to his feet.
"Where's Cruger?" he questioned, feeling they needed help.
As he said that, Cruger walked across the rooftop of the building opposite them, before he stood at the edge and looked at the battle.
"Hmm?" he muttered.
"There!" Z said, spotting him. "Look?"
The Rangers all turned to Cruger.
"Commander!" they all said.
"Now you're in trouble." Jack told Drakel, pointing at him. "Shadow Ranger is here."
Drakel took out his staff and put it in his left hand.
"Like I care?" he snarled. "Yah!"
He pointed his staff forward, shooting lighting out of it, which hit the Rangers chests.
"AHH!" they moaned.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped, as they hit the ground.
Cruger sighed as he kept watching, as the Rangers pulled themselves up.
"Commander, help us?" Jack begged.
Cruger just stared at them all, folding his arms.
Drakel laughed as he charged at the Rangers, slashing Jack's chest with his right claw, before he slashed Bridge with his left.
"AH!" he moaned, hitting the ground.
Drakel slashed Val with his right, then turned and slashed Z with it, knocking them both down, while his back was to Sky and Syd. They both came at him from behind, before he spun around and slashed them both, making them turn and fall over. Jack came at him and tried to kick him, which he blocked with his hand, then slashed him down the chest with his left claw.
"Ah!" Jack moaned, spinning around.
Drakel grabbed him from behind and held him, as he tried to break free, while the others all turned to Cruger.
"Commander?" Sky said.
"Come on?" Bridge begged.
"What are you waiting for?" Z asked.
"We're getting toasted!" Syd cried.
"Are you just gonna stand there?" Val asked.
Cruger huffed.
Drakel growled as he kept Jack restrained, who then managed to break free, before he spun around and kicked Drakel, knocking him back as he turned around.
"Fire!" Jack shouted, firing his blasters.
The blasts all hit Drakel, knocking him onto his back.
"AH! Oh!" he moaned.
Jack turned and ran towards the building Cruger stood on, before he stopped in front of it.
"Why won't you help us?!" Jack demanded.
"You don't need it." Cruger answered.
"What?!" Jack exclaimed.
"Finish the job. Trust me?" Cruger said.
"Fine, we'll do it!" Jack said, annoyed.
He turned around and ran towards the others, who pulled themselves up.
"Come on, guys. Let's show him." Jack said.
"Yeah." the others said.
"Bring it?" Drakel dared.
"With pleasure." Jack said.
The Rangers all began charging at him.
"Ah!" Drakel growled.
He fired lasers from his eyes as Jack fired his blasters, hitting him all over.
"AH!" Drakel moaned, as smoke came up in front of him.
Jack stopped running, then he spun around 360 degrees, before he held his arms out.
"Need a lift?" he asked.
Z and Syd both jumped up and kicked their feet on his arms, before they jumped and dived towards Drakel.
"Hyah!" they yelled, slashing their blades down, hitting his chest.
"Oh!" he moaned.
Sky and Bridge jumped and kicked their feet against Jack's arms, before they dived towards Drakel, kicking him, before they both back flipped away. Val jumped and kicked her feet against Jack's left arm, before she dived forward and stabbed Drakel in the chest.
"OH!" he moaned, stumbling back.
Val back flipped away and landed crouched down between Z and Syd, as Sky and Bridge showed up beside them respectfully, all with their blasters.
"Ranger power!" they shouted.
Jack combined his blasters into Combo mode.
"Let's do it!" he said.
He charged towards the others.
"Fire!" Drakel growled.
He shot lighting from his eyes at the Rangers, but they held it back with their blasters.
"Uh! Ah!" they moaned.
Jack jumped and somersaulted forward.
"Hyah!" he yelled.
He landed and put his feet on Sky's and Bridge's helmets, as they all aimed their blasters.
"Fire!" they shouted.
They all fired their blasters, hitting Drakel all over.
"AHH!" he moaned, as sparks came out of him.
The Rangers all stood in their line, putting their blasters away.
"All right." Jack said.
"Yeah." Syd said.
"Yeah." Sky said.
"We did it." they all said.
"Yes." Cruger said.
"It's Judgement time!" Jack said.
He held up his morpher in 'Judgement' mode.
"Judgement mode!" he said.
He pressed the button, opening it up, starting the red X blue 0 sequence, as the clock came around Drakel, the X and 0 not showing up on his morpher.
"Huh? It wasn't me!" he lied, looking around.
"For the crimes of stealing property that does not belong to you and the intent of using the Evil's power against Earth, you are found..." Jack said, as the X flashed on his morpher.
"Guilty!" the Rangers said, saluting.
"RIC!" Jack shouted, holding the bone.
He tossed it up as RIC arrived and jumped up, before he bit it. His back end rotated 180 degrees, then his back legs folded down, while his tail began a handle, then his front legs rose up, then cannons rose up from them, forming the Canine Cannon, as the Rangers all caught him.
"Ready?" Jack said.
"Fire!" the Rangers shouted.
All but Jack pointed their hands out, who fired it, shooting two blasts out, which flew towards and hit Drakel.
"AHH!" he moaned.
Sparks and lighting came out of him as he turned around, then he fell onto his chest, before an explosion went off, sending him flying away while now trapped in a Containment Card. The Evil Stone went flying away and rolled along the ground, before it stopped.
"That's mine!" Drakel exclaimed, banging on the card. "Give it back?!"
Bridge crouched down near the Evil Stone with a litter picker, as the others came towards him.
"Careful, Bridge?" Jack cautioned.
Bridge picked up the Evil with the picker, then put it down into a containment box.
"It's all good." he said.
He closed up the box and picked it up.
"Safe and sound." he said.
"Yeah." Jack said, as Sky rubbed his hands.
"Yes." Syd said, holding up her fist.
"Wahoo!" Z whooped.
"All right." Sky said.
"¡Ajá, sí!" Val said.
"Yeah." Z said.
They all ran towards Bridge as Cruger stared at him.
"Excellent." he said.
He turned around and walked off.
On Grumm's ship, Grumm stood behind the control panel, staring at a holographic image of the Rangers.
"Ah!" he growled.
Jack and Bridge high-fived each other as Val patted Bridge's shoulder, getting behind him with Syd.
"Way to go." Jack said.
"We did it!" Syd whooped, touching Bridge's arm. "Yeah!"
"We sure showed him." Val smirked.
"Ah!" Grumm snarled.
He pulled a knob, turning the hologram off, before he turned around.
"With or without the Evil, I will crush that planet into space dust." he vowed, holding up his fist.
Later, the B-Squad were back in the bookstore with Baskin, Bridge holding up the containment box.
"Thank you." Baskin said, taking it.
"There you go. It's as good as...old." Bridge assured.
Baskin laughed.
"You really had us going with that dopey shopkeeper character." Syd remarked.
Sky turned and picked up a book.
"Well, thank you." Baskin said.
"I guess without the containment field, even that freak couldn't handle the Evil?" Z guessed.
"Not to mention it drove him crazy." Val added. "Probably why he needed that?"
"Yes. In 2000 years of...guarding this hideous thing, this is the first time anyone's ever taken it from me." Baskin explained.
"I guess you have another hundred years to get in shape before your next battle?" Sky assumed, going through the book, as everyone turned to him.
"Uh..." Baskin said.
He put the box inside a suitcase bag.
"I think, that we will move to New Zealand." he said, picking up JB. "No one will ever find us there."
He laughed as the Rangers smiled, before he put JB in the case, then he picked it up and his cane.
"So long, Power Rangers, and keep up the fight." he wished.
He laughed as he vanished.
"Hmm?" the Rangers muttered.
"Speaking of fight, we have another member of our team we need to talk to." Jack said.
He, Sky, Syd and Val all turned and walked towards the door, then Z smiled as Bridge followed, before she touched his back and followed him.
Once back in the Delta Base, the Rangers all stood in the Command Room, facing Cruger, who sat at his desk with his back to them, before they began speaking at once. (Val was on Sky's right)
"Alright, what happened?" Jack said.
"Why'd you..." Syd began.
"How come you haven't..." Val began.
"Sir...?" Sky began.
"I mean..." Z said.
"You sit there, then you're not there, then you're back..." Bridge said.
"...been helping us?" Val finished.
"...when we're already there?" Z said.
"You're way..." Jack said.
"...then you're here, and like, where's the Shadow been?" Bridge asked.
"Yeah?" Z said, as the others stopped talking.
"Where has Shadow been?" Cruger questioned, before he turned around. "Well, he's been listening to you talk."
(Flashback)
Cruger stood just outside the doorway of the Common Room, eavesdropping on the B-Squad.
"...I can just sit back, relax..." Jack said, grabbing a pillow and putting it behind him. "...and go with the flow."
"Hmm?" Cruger muttered.
"With Shadow Ranger here, we're golden." Sky said, unzipping his jacket.
"Hmm?" Cruger growled, feeling they needed to learn something.
(Flashback ends)
"Ever since the arrival of the Shadow Ranger, you have lowered your guard and relied solely on me." Cruger explained. "In order to defeat Grumm, we will all need to battle with 100% commitment. No one Ranger is more important than another. I didn't come to your aid because you didn't need me, you just didn't know it."
"Now he's starting to sound like Bridge." Syd said.
"Huh?" Bridge said, as they turned to her.
"That didn't sound like Bridge to me." Val reasoned.
They all turned to Cruger, having learnt their lesson.
"You're right. I guess we did sort of take you for granted." Jack sighed, as Z and Val nodded, while Sky put his head down. "Won't happen again, sir."
"Good, because I can't stand watching you get your morphers kicked all over the city." Cruger joked.
The B-Squad all smiled.
"Oh." Z said.
"Okay." Bridge said.
"Since when do you make jokes, sir?" Val asked.
"That's fine." Syd grinned.
Jack pointed at Cruger before they all laughed, approaching him.
"Now that's..." Syd said, as they all stared to talk.
"Okay." Sky said.
