A/N: This is my second original chapter for SPD.
Please read and review, as I worked hard on this one?
Intro:
A police car drives around.
S.P.D Emergency!
The car skids to a stop, as its sirens wail.
The six Rangers then run along a street together.
Jack then jumps his bike up from an explosion. Syd hits a Krybot while jumping up with Deltamax Striker blade. Sky lifts his bike's front wheel up. Val skids her bike to a stop in front of a Blue Head. Bridge lifts up from his bike and kicks two Krybots away, while holding onto the handles. Z spins around as a Orange Head tries to hit her. Cruger stands behind an explosion in the quarry. They all stand in the cockpit of the Delta Command Megazord as it powers up, before their numbers are counted down. The Delta Squad Megazord does the Delta Strike. The sirens on the Cruger's helmet beeps, followed by the others, before Jack fires the Canine Cannon, as Sky and Bridge point their hands forward, Z and Syd touch Jack's shoulders, and Val holds the top.

Go, go, S.P.D!
On Grumm's ship, Grumm stood by the control panel in the control room, while Broodwing and Mora stood near him.
"Where is that alien you said would be here?" Mora complained.
"He should be here." Broodwing assured.
"And I am." came a voice.
They all turned to a red ant themed alien called Antbite, who came towards them all, who had pincers on his mouth, antennas on his head, and three fingers on each hand.
"Oh, Antbite, I see you made it?" Broodwing said.
"I never forgot to come when called, Broodwing." Antbite assured. "We both know our reputations."
"Indeed we do." Broodwing said.
"I'm glad to see you made it." Grumm said.
"Yeah, right?" Mora scoffed. "What exactly are you know for?"
"I have destroyed countless known buildings with the help of my little pets." Antbite explained. "They bite them up into small pieces, leaving nothing left but ruin."
"Hmm? That does interest me." Grumm said, putting his hand on his chin. "Can you do it to the Space Patrol Delta Base?"
"Of course, but I will need some help." Antbite said.
He held up some money in his hand.
"And I know exactly which robot I need, Broodwing." he said, handing him the money.
"Ah, of course." Broodwing said, taking the money. "I'll have it ready for you."
In the Delta Base, Cruger and Kat both stood by the center panel, as the door opened, and the Rangers all came in.
"You wanted to see us all, sir?" Jack asked, as they stopped on the other side of the panel.
"Ah, yes, Rangers. I wanted to talk to you all." Cruger explained. "While things have been a bit quiet lately, we cannot afford to let our guard down for when Grumm strikes next."
"We understand, sir." Jack said. "We've learned that lesson."
"Yeah. It's one we won't repeat, sir." Sky assured.
"Good." Cruger said. "Now-"
The room began to shake wildly, making everyone wobble.
(The city)
People in the streets ran away as the ground began to crack open, knocking a few parked cars over on it.
(Delta Base)
The alarms went off, making Kat look at one of the screens on the center control panel, as the room kept shaking wildly.
"What the?!" Jack exclaimed.
Z and Bridge both fell over as the others managed to steady themselves, when the ground stopped shaking.
"Oh!" they moaned.
"It just stopped?" Syd questioned.
Sky helped Z up as Val helped Bridge up, as Cruger approached Kat.
"Yeah, but I doubt it won't for long." Val reasoned.
"Kat, what's going on?" Cruger asked.
"I'm not sure yet." Kat answered. "It seems to be coming from underground."
The Rangers all gathered around the center panel, just as Boom and Jane came in.
"What's going on?" Jane asked.
"We're not sure yet." Val answered.
"It sounded like a Earthquake." Boom said. "The entire base shook wildly."
"Like it hasn't before?" Jack inquired, folding his arms.
"Sir, I think I've got it." Kat said.
Everyone turned to Kat, with Boom and Jane coming up on either side of her and Cruger respectfully, as she kept working on the panel. She looked at a map on the panel, showing a blip moving quickly along a road.
"It's a robot energy signature. It's probably gonna attack the city." Kat deduced.
"Where is it?" Cruger asked.
"That's the thing, I'm not entirely sure. It's moving fast for me to track it." Kat answered, as the screen showed a road cracking open. "It's probably underground too."
"Well, that explains why the place is shaking." Jane deduced.
"Agreed. Rangers, suit up!" Cruger ordered. "Get out there and find out what's going on."
"Yes, sir." the Rangers said, saluting.
Jack took out his morpher and held it up.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Ready!" the others said, doing the same.
"SPD Emergency!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split into six, Sky in the top left, Jack in the top middle, Bridge in the top right, Syd in the bottom left, Z in the bottom middle, Val in the bottom right. They all pressed their morpher's buttons, shooting out the holograms on their suits, before they all back flipped away and morphed up. They all landed crouched down, before their helmets appeared on them, then they did their fight poses.
"Space Patrol Delta!"
(End morph sequence)
"Opening Zord bay tubes." Kat said, as the tube covers rose up.
The Rangers all turned and ran towards one.
"Hyah!" Z yelled, jumping into hers.
"Yeah!" Syd whooped, jumping and slid down hers.
Sky and Bridge both jumped into theirs.
"¡Guau!" Val whooped, jumping down into hers.
Jack jumped into his and slid down it.
"Yee-haw!" he said.
Tubes moved down into the hanger towards the Delta Runners, before one attached to each one, then the Rangers entered theirs.
"Let's do it, guys!" Jack said, putting his morpher in its place.
Delta Runner 1 began to race off down a tunnel, followed by Delta Runners 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, as their sirens wailed.
In the city, a Drill Robot was rising up from the ground, this one being aqua, before it began to march through the city.
"Time to begin the plan." said the Blue-Head piloting it.
The Drill Robot marched forward towards a large tower, then raised its right arm up and punched a hole in it, smashing off the roof, but luckily, no one was inside the building at the time. It turned and began to approach another building, when it turned as it heard sirens wailing.
"Freeze, SPD!" came Jack's voice.
The Delta Runners soon arrived on the scene as the Drill Robot turned to them all.
"Prefect." the Blue-Head said.
The Delta Runners all began to surround the Drill Robot on all sides, before they all pulled over.
"Bridge, tie him up!" Jack ordered.
"You got it, Jack!" Bridge said, holding his right hand like a pistol.
Delta Runner 3's back extended out, then the Delta Blaster rose up and fired the super crime scene tape out.
"Oh, no you don't." the Blue-Head said.
The Drill Robot ducked down and began to drill beneath the ground, going under it before the crime scene tape could hit him.
"What?!" Jack exclaimed.
"Where'd he go?" Syd questioned.
"Val, track him!" Sky said.
"On it." Val said.
She pressed some buttons on her controls, then her scanner came on, with a blip on. The blip moved right along the scanner, before it got near the Delta Base.
"¡¿Qué?! Guys, he's heading for the base!" she exclaimed.
"He's heading for the base?!" Bridge questioned.
"No way?!" Jack exclaimed, touching his head.
"He was just luring us out there!" Sky groaned, clutching his fist. "We better get back!"
The Delta Runners all turned and began to race off.
In the Delta Base, Cruger, Kat, Boom and Jane all stared at the panel screen, showing the Delta Runners racing off.
"Did they just say it's heading for the base?" Boom gulped.
"Yes." Kat nodded.
"He must've just wanted the Runners out of the base to lure the Rangers away." Jane deduced. "Why though?"
"That's a good question, Jane." Cruger remarked. "My hunch is, we're about to find out."
The ground began to shake, making several people around the room wobble.
"Ah!" Boom yelled, falling onto his back.
"I think you're right, Doggie." Kat said.
(Outside)
The Drill Robot rose up from the ground, then began to march towards the Delta Base.
On a nearby rooftop, stood Antbite, who was watching the Drill Robot.
"Perfect. Everything is going according to plan." he said, rubbing his hands.
He laughed slightly, before he turned as he heard sirens wailing.
"Huh?" he muttered.
The Delta Runners all raced towards the Drill Robot and the Delta Base.
"SPD, halt!" Jack yelled.
"What?!" the Blue-Head exclaimed.
The Drill Robot turned around as the Delta Runners began to pull over.
"Let's do it, guys." Jack said.
The screen split into six, from left to right, Sky, Z, Jack, Val, Syd and Bridge.
"Delta Squad Megazord!" they shouted.
Delta Runner 1 lifted itself up slightly by lifting up its front wheels, pulling Delta Runners 4 and 5 onto their back ends. Delta Runner 6 split in half while in the air, then both halves attached themselves to the top of Delta Runners 4 and 5.
Delta Runner 2 - on the ground with its front wheel and right wing retracted in - lifted its body up so its cockpit was on the ground, while Delta Runner 3 lifted its back up, leaving the front of it alone. Delta Runner 1 - its front wheels rotated out - lowered itself down onto Delta Runners 2 and 3, then its back rotated down, showing the head.
The Delta Blaster shot out of Delta Runner 3, which it caught in its right hand, then every loose bit retracted inside, forming the Delta Squad Megazord, which held up the Delta Blaster as the sirens around its body wailed.
The Drill Robot held up its fists as the Delta Squad Megazord charged forward with its blaster. The Drill Robot then spun the drills around on its right hand, before it punched the Delta Squad Megazord's chest, knocking it back as sparks came out of it.
The screen split into six, the Rangers in the same spots.
"AHH!" they moaned, wobbling.
Sparks came out of the Delta Squad Megazord's chest as it stumbled back. The Drill Robot then shot lighting from its eye, which hit it all over, causing more sparks to come out of it, before it turned around and hit the ground on its chest.
The screen split into six, the Rangers in the same spots.
"AHHH!" they moaned, wobbling.
"That's it! Do it now!" Antbite commanded.
"As you wish." the Blue-Head said, nodding.
The Drill Robot turned and shot out its tail, which dug into the Delta Base with its drill.
(Command room)
"The robot's drilling a hole into the base." Kat explained.
"Activate security measures!" Cruger ordered.
"Yes, sir." Kat said.
She pressed a button on the panel, as Boom and Jane turned to each other.
"Why do I have a feeling there's more going on here?" Jane said.
Boom shrugged, before they turned back to the panel.
(Outside)
The Delta Squad Megazord got up and turned around to the Drill Robot.
"He's drilling into the base!" Z exclaimed.
"We've got to stop him!" Val said.
"Already on it, Val." Jack said.
The Delta Squad Megazord marched towards the Drill Robot, when a claw grabbed the end of the tail drill from inside.
"AH!" the Blue-Head groaned.
The claw began to tighten its grip around the tail drill, when the Delta Squad Megazord then punched the Drill Robot's chest, knocking it away, causing its tail drill to fall out, the end snapping off. As the Drill Robot stumbled back, the claw threw the tail drill out of the Delta Base, then the Delta Squad Megazord got in front of the hole.
"You'll pay for that." Val promised, clutching her fist.
"Let's get him, guys." Jack said.
The Delta Squad Megazord began charging forward, as the Drill Robot did the same. It then tried to punch the Drill Robot, but missed as it dodged, before it punched the Delta Squad Megazord's chest, knocking it back slightly.
"Let's bring out the sword." Sky said.
"Good thinking, Sky." Jack agreed, holding his thumb up.
The Delta Squad Megazord brought out its sword, then tried to slash the Drill Robot with it, but missed as it dodged slightly, but then it slashed the Drill Robot across the chest, knocking it back. It stared at the Drill Robot, which began spinning the drills around on its hands and head, before it charged forward.
"Brace yourself, guys!" Jack said.
"Don't need to tell us twice." Val assured.
The Drill Robot began charging forward as it kept spinning its drills around, before the Delta Squad Megazord held up its sword with both hands, pointing it forward. It marched forward slowly and stabbed the Drill Robot's top drill with it, smashing the drill to pieces, while also knocking the Drill Robot back.
"AH!" the Blue-Head moaned. "You'll pay for that!"
The Delta Squad Megazord stared at the Drill Robot.
"We need to find out who's piloting it before we make the next move." Jack said.
"Yeah, so we know what to do next." Val agreed.
"Kat, can you tell us who's piloting this thing?" Sky asked.
(Command Room)
Kat, Cruger, Jane and Boom all stood around the center panel, as Kat worked on it.
"I'm already on it, Sky." she assured.
She pressed a few buttons, as the screen scanned the Drill Robot, before it zoomed in on the cockpit, showing the Blue-Head.
"Rangers, the robot is being piloted by a Blue-Head." she explained.
(Outside)
"A Blue-Head?" Val questioned.
Syd opened up her morpher in 'Phone' mode, then began to type on it. The Drill Robot began to get scanned, before it zoomed in on the cockpit, showing the Blue-Head.
"Kat's not kidding." she said. "It is only a Blue-Head."
"Then let's end this." Z said.
"Right." Jack said.
The Delta Squad Megazord jumped up and held up its Delta Sword, as the Drill Robot looked up at it.
"Huh?" the Blue-Head muttered.
"Delta Strike!" Jack shouted.
The Delta Squad Megazord slashed its Delta Sword down diagonally, slashing the Drill Robot, making red lighting come out of it.
"AHH!" the Blue-Head groaned.
The Drill Robot lowered its arms and then fell onto its chest and blew up, as the Delta Squad Megazord lowered its sword.
"You served your purpose." Antbite said. "Phase 1 of my plan complete."
He turned around and walked off, as the Delta Squad Megazord stood at ease.
Later, on Grumm's ship, Grumm and Broodwing both stood in the control room as Antbite, before they both turned to him.
"Your plan failed, miserably!" Grumm growled, his eyes glowing. "All your robot did was drill a hole into the base, and for nothing!"
He aimed his staff at Antbite, as the end glowed.
"Exactly." Antbite. "That was all part of the plan."
"What?" Broodwing exclaimed. "What are you talking about?"
"I think we'd all like to know that." Mora said, coming in.
Everyone turned to her as she sat down in the chair by the control panel.
"In the morning, the Rangers are gonna be in for a surprise when they wake up." Antbite explained.
"What are you talking about?" Grumm asked.
"You see, while the drill was digging into the base, it left behind something that'll be wrecking the base apart in the morning." Antbite explained.
"And what is that?" Grumm inquired.
"One of these." Antbite answered.
He held up a tiny robotic ant, which they all looked at.
"Ha! You really think that is gonna defeat the Rangers inside their base?" Mora scoffed.
"You underestimate me, child." Antbite said. "My little antbots here can multiply like mice, but it will take time."
"Meaning, by tomorrow, the Delta Base will be swarming with them, eating the base away, rendering it useless to the Rangers?" Broodwing inquired.
"Yes." Antbite nodded. "You can't expect my work in the past to have been done so quickly. You have to give it time for it to work properly."
"O-kay...that's actually pretty good." Mora admitted.
"Yes. Excellent, Antbite." Grumm remarked. "If this plan works, it'll be worth the wait."
He laughed evilly as his eyes glowed.
Later, the Rangers were in the Command Room, standing in front of Cruger, who stood in front of his desk.
"You Rangers did well. You have saved the base from being destroyed." he explained.
"Thank you, sir." Jack said.
"How long will it take for that hole to get fixed, sir?" Val asked.
"It should be fixed by tomorrow morning." Cruger assured. "But, I want you all to be cautious. I have a feeling that battle was a little too easy."
"You think there's more to it than we know, sir?" Sky inquired.
"Yes, Cadet Tate." Cruger confirmed. "So, be on alert, and be ready to wake up in case something happens tonight."
"Yes, sir." the Rangers said, saluting.
They all turned around and walked off, as Cruger turned and put his hand to his chin, knowing something was up the way the battle went.
That night, in the area of the base the drill had holed, a small light shined on the floor behind a box, before a tiny antbot came out from behind it. It looked around, seeing no one in sight, while the hole was almost fixed up. It began to crawl along down the hallway, before it suddenly cloned itself, which repeated the process until there were sixteen of them. They all then split up and crawled down different ways in the hallway, while two stopped and started to slow bite a wall, showing wires on the other side, which they then bit.
The next day, the Rangers were all in the Common Room - expect Cruger - Val reading a detective/crime comic on a couch, while Z sat beside her, listening to music from her headphones, while Sky sat in a beanbag reading a book. Bridge stood against a wall upside down, thinking, while Syd came over from the counter with a bottle of juice, as Jack came over to them all from the window.
"Well, the repairs to the base are almost done." Jack hoped.
"Let's hope so." Sky said, turning a page in his book. "I'd hate for someone to sneak into the base before it was fixed."
"Agreed. The last thing we need right now is another intruder mess." Val said.
"I know what you mean." Bridge said, before he stood upright. "If that happened again, who knows what could happen. There could be another attempt on Cruger, or some of the files could be stolen, or the Zords could be trashed, or-"
"We get it." Jack said, holding his hand up. "Anything could happen if that was the case."
"Oh, right." Bridge said, embarrassed as he scratched his head.
Syd smirked as she drank some of her juice, before putting it on the table, as she sat down beside Val, who looked puzzled.
"You okay, Val?" Syd asked.
"Yeah. I've just... I have a feeling that robot from yesterday was meant to do something than just attack this place." Val explained.
Z took off her headphones and looked at them both.
"Hey, I'm sure if something was gonna happen, we stopped it before that Blue-Head could." she said.
"Still, if the robot was piloted by a Blue-Head, then who was in charge back there?" Bridge questioned.
"That's a good question." Val admitted. "There's gotta be more here than meets the eye."
"Well, look at the bright side, there's nothing going on." Syd said.
The alarms suddenly went off, making a few Cadets nearby run out of the room.
"Huh?" the Rangers muttered.
Z took her headphones off as Sky and Val closed up their book/comic.
"¿Tenías que decirlo, Syd?" Val said sarcastically.
They all looked at her, not knowing what she said, as she got up and ran off, before they all followed her.
Meanwhile, Jane was running down towards a lab with a binder, when she saw a something moving up ahead.
"Huh?" she muttered.
She ran down the hallway, before she stopped outside the lab, then she entered it, seeing no one inside.
"I'm sure it came this way?" she said, looking around.
She held up her binder like a bat, as she approached the table, when she heard a crawling noise.
"Who's there?" she called, turning around.
She took two steps forward when she heard the noise again, making her stop. She looked around, then turned around and saw an antbot on the lab table, which she quickly swatted with the binder, smashing it slightly. She looked at it carefully as she lifted her binder up, before she picked it up.
"I better show this to Kat." she said, before she turned and ran out of the lab.
In the Command Room, Cruger and Kat both stood by the center panel, while Boom stood nearby with other Cadets, working on the wall ones, when the Rangers came in.
"Rangers reporting, sir." Jack said, as they all stood at attention. "What's going on?"
"Somehow, the base has been infiltrated." Cruger explained. "How though, I'm not sure."
"Sir, what do you mean?" Sky asked, confused.
"Yeah, how?" Syd inquired. "I mean, it's not like last time."
Sky glared at her slightly, knowing she meant when he let his former friend Dru in.
"No offence, Sky." Syd assured. "I'm just saying."
"I know." Sky sighed.
"Sir, can you tell us how the base has been infiltrated?" Val asked.
"That's the problem, we're not sure yet." Kat answered. "We haven't been able to find out how since several systems are offline."
"It must've happened during the night then." Bridge deduced.
Boom turned around to them all.
"That's what I've been thinking." he said. "No alarms went off last night so they must've done so when it was dark."
"But, then how come the alarms didn't go off until recently?" Jack questioned.
"Well... I can't really explain it." Kat admitted. "We only know there's an intruder due to cut wires being shown all over the place."
"Okay, this is weird." Val muttered.
"I agree." Cruger said. "We need to find out what's going on here."
The door behind the Rangers opened up, and Jane came in.
"Sir, I think I know what might be going on." she said.
Everyone turned to her as she ran over to Cruger and Kat.
"Well, what is it?" Cruger asked.
"Sir, I found this little thing in the lab." Jane explained, holding up an antbot. "I've never seen it before."
"An antbot?" Cruger gasped. "Antbite's handiwork."
"Antbite?" Bridge inquired. "Is he some sort of ant who likes to bite into things?"
Syd and Z both rolled their eyes.
"I'm afraid so." Cruger explained.
A hologram of Antbite showed up in the middle of the panel, which they all looked at.
"Antbite is wanted for using robotic ants to destroy hundreds of important buildings on at least 50 planets." he explained.
"That's terrible." Val said.
"It is." Cruger agreed, before the hologram vanished. "By the looks of this, some of his antbots have infiltrated the base."
"You mean, they're gonna chew the place up and leave it in rubble?" Sky inquired, shocked.
"Yes. That would explain the chewed up wires." Cruger sighed, before turning to Kat. "I want the whole base on lockdown to try and slow 'em down."
"I'll try, but they might've messed up the controls with the cut wiring, sir." Kat reasoned.
"Do the best you can." Cruger ordered, before turning to the Rangers. "Rangers, I want you to secure the base and eliminate these pests. Make sure everyone inside the base is okay."
"Yes, sir." the Rangers said, saluting.
They all turned and ran out of the room, before the door closed, then they ran left down the hallway, before they stopped.
"Well, Val, you were right, there was more to that battle than meets the eye." Z said.
"Thanks." Val said.
"I'd hate to think how much damage those little bugs can do to this place." Syd said.
"I know what you mean." Sky agreed. "We better stop these things before they turn the base into rubble."
"Right. We split up and cover more ground, and help anyone you find." Jack ordered.
"Right." the others said.
They all turned and ran down the hallway, Sky, Z and Jack one way, Val, Syd and Bridge the other.
On Grumm's ship, Grumm, Broodwing, Mora and Antbite were all standing by the control panel, looking at a holographic image, which showed a swarm of antbots running down a hallway.
"I hate to admit it, but that is impressive." Mora admitted.
"Yes." Grumm agreed. "It seems I underestimated you, Antbite."
"Well, I told you, it's all a matter of waiting." Antbite explained.
They all turned to him.
"Indeed you did. When SPD is out of the way, I will finally be able to take control of Earth and it's resources." Grumm declared, clutching his fist.
"Let's hope those antbots of yours can reduce the Delta Base to rubble." Broodwing said.
"Oh, they will." Antbite explained. "First, they just need to chew out the powers and security measures, then they can start eating away at the base, as nothing will be able to stop them."
"Good. All we have to do now, is wait and see how this turns out." Grumm smirked, rubbing his hands.
In the Delta Base, Sky - morphed up - ran down a hallway, before he turned left and saw several antbots biting through a wall.
"Oh, no you don't!" he said.
He took out his blade and knuckle, combing them into his blaster, before he fired at the antbots, destroying several of them on the wall. He fired again, hitting two more, before another seven began to crawl towards him, followed by many more.
"Okay, I can see how these guys act, swarming all over people." he said.
He fired a few blasts from his blaster, hitting and destroy eight antbots, before he turned around and ran away.
In another hallway, Bridge stopped at the end of it while holding his blaster, before he looked around, seeing no sign of any antbots.
"Clear." he said.
He ran forward, when about more than 30 antbots came crawling down from the ceiling.
"O-kay, that sure is a lot of them." he gulped, backing away.
He fired four blasts from his blaster, hitting and destroying 13 of the antbots, but the rest kept coming towards him, before he turned around and ran off.
"I wonder how the others are doing?" he said.
Val ran into a room as the door opened, but saw dozens of antbots all around the room, which all turned and came towards her. She aimed and fired her blaster four times as she backed away out of the room, hitting 12 of them, destroying them, before the rest got close to the doorway.
"Oh, no you don't!" she said.
She hit a panel on a wall, sealing the door shut, before she sighed. She then turned and ran off, as the antbots started to chew their way through the door.
"This isn't good." she gulped.
Syd entered an empty hallway with an door on her left, before she saw dozens of antbots coming towards her. She fired her blaster four times, hitting at least 14 of them, when more came up behind the real ones.
"Geez, talk about a swarm?" she said sarcastically.
She turned left and ran through the door as it opened up, before it closed behind her. She stopped and turned to it, aiming her blaster at it, when she saw little holes starting to come into it.
"So they can chew through anything." she gulped. "I hope there's an easier way to stop them."
She fired her blaster three times, hitting 9 antbots, before she turned and ran to her left, as the remaining antbots chased after her.
Jack ran down a hallway, before he stopped in the middle of it, as there was one on either side of him. He looked down the left one, then turned to the right one, seeing dozens of antbots down there, chewing their way through a wall.
"Not so fast! Delta Blasters!" he shouted, firing them.
The blasts hit 6 antbots, knocking them off the wall before they blew up, then he fired again, hitting 10 more, as the rest jumped off the wall. They all began to crawl towards him, before he turned around, and saw dozens more coming towards him from the oppoiste hallway.
"Man, these things are swarming all over like bees." he sighed.
He held his arms out and fired both blasters three times, hitting 7 on his left, 9 on his right, before he ran down the hallway in front of him.
Z ran forward and stopped near a railing inside a room, before she turned around, as dozens of antbots had chased her there. She fired her blaster at them, hitting about 10 as they kept coming towards her, before she jumped over the railing towards the lower floor.
"Yah!" she yelled, diving down.
She landed and rolled along the floor, before she turned around and fired her blaster four times, hitting 18 antbots as they climbed over the railing.
"I'm really starting to hate bugs." she sighed.
She got up and ran off, as the antbots jumped down towards the floor, before they chased her.
Outside, Antbite was walking along the same rooftop from yesterday, looking at the Delta Base.
"Prefect." he said. "I wish I could see the look on the Rangers faces when my pets started their work."
He held up a tracker, which showed his antbot's progress.
"My little pets should have the base completely in ruins in a few hours." he smirked. "All I have to do, is wait."
He laughed evilly as he held his arms out.
Inside, Cruger stood by the center panel with Kat, which showed the Rangers locations via blips on a digital map of the base. Also in the room were other Cadets working on the wall panels.
"Just how many of these antbots are there?" Kat wondered.
"I don't know." Cruger sighed, putting his hand to his chin. "All I know is as long as one's left, it'll keep multiplying."
"It would help if they had a weakness that could help us stop them." Kat sighed.
"I know what you mean." Cruger sighed.
In the lab, Jane and Boom were both sorting stuff out at the lab table, when they heard a noise.
"Did you hear that?" Boom asked nervously.
"Yeah." Jane said.
They both looked around, before they saw dozens of antbots crawling down the wall in front of them.
"Oh, my gosh!" Boom gasped.
They both moved towards the wall near the door, as the antbots all came towards them.
"What do we do?" Boom asked. "We haven't got anything to defend ourselves!"
Jane looked around as she moved along against the wall, before she found a bucket full of water nearby.
"I hope this works. It should at least slow them down." she hoped.
She grabbed the bucket from the floor and threw it at the antbots coming towards her, which hit the nearest ones. When the water did however, it caused those ones to short out, followed by more as they came towards the first ones, making the rest stop, until they all shorted out.
"Uh, what just happened?" Boom asked, confused.
"Huh? Well, I'll be, they can't come into water." Jane said. "Boom, I think I know how to stop these things."
"We better tell the Commander." Boom said. "Better do it in person in case the coms are out."
Jane nodded as she dropped the bucket and ran off, with Boom right behind her.
In the Command Room, Cruger was pacing around as Kat kept working on the center panel, when the door opened, and Jane and Boom came running in, before they stopped.
"Sir, we think I know how to stop them." Jane explained.
Cruger and Kat both turned to her and Boom.
"What do you mean?" Kat asked.
"Well, a swarm of those antbots came into the lab while we were working." Boom began.
"But when I threw water onto them from a bucket, they all shorted out." Jane explained. "I don't think they can stand water pressure."
"This might be the only way to save the base." Cruger deduced. "Good work, you two."
"Thank you, sir." Jane and Boom said.
Cruger took out his morpher and opened it up in 'phone' mode.
"Rangers, the antbots can't stand the water." he explained. "It shorts them out."
"We understand, sir." Jack said. "But what do we do to stop them all?"
"Kat, activate the fire emergency system!" Cruger ordered.
Kat began to press buttons on the panel, but it buzzed badly.
"I can't. It's been cut." she explained. "It'll have to be done manually."
"Then who's the nearest to the fire emergency system?" Cruger asked.
Kat typed on the panel, then looked at the map, before it zoomed in on the fire emergency room, with Val's blip being near it.
"Val is, sir." she explained. "She can get in there a few minutes."
"Lopez, you're the closet to the emergency fire system. Get over there and turn it on manually!" Cruger ordered into his morpher.
(Val's hallway)
Val held her morpher to her mouthpiece, holding it open in 'phone' mode.
"I understand, sir. I'm on it." she said.
She closed up her morpher and put it away, before she ran down the hallway, firing her blaster, hitting three antbots in front of her.
(Command Room)
"Sir, I'm picking up something outside the base." Kat explained.
Everyone turned to one of the walls on the left panel, as it showed Antbite outside the base on the rooftop.
"Antbite?" Cruger said.
"Guess he wants to see his little pets handiwork?" Jane deduced.
"I agree." Kat said.
"Right. Rangers, get outside and deal with him until Val and I can join you." Cruger ordered into his morpher.
"Yes, sir." the Rangers said - expect Val.
Cruger turned to the others.
"I'm going out there. Do your best to hold out until Val's done her job." he ordered.
"Yes, sir." everyone said, saluting.
Meanwhile, Val was running down a hallway, firing her blaster as she did, hitting five antbots ahead of her, destroying them. She then turned left down the hallway, before she stopped outside a door, then pulled it open, as it wasn't automatic, seeing a ladder on the other side.
"This is my chance to get there." she said. "It's only a few floors down."
She grabbed the ladder, putting her feet on either end, before she slid down it, landing in the fire emergency room. She got up and turned around, then ran towards the controls, when swarms of antbots came out of nowhere and approached her and the panel.
"Okay, not good." she muttered.
She ran towards the panel, then began to fiddle with it, opening up a hatch with a lever on, when the antbots began to swarm all over her.
"AHH!" she moaned.
She fell onto her chest as they pulled her down, pinning her on her chest. She tried to pull herself up, but only got to her knees before she held her right arm up over the panel.
"Got...to...reach...for it!" she moaned.
She grabbed and pulled the lever down, turning on sprinklers all over the room, which hit and shorted out all the antbots. The ones all over her fell off her, as she sighed and she rolled over onto her back exhausted, before she de-morphed.
"Eso fue divertido." she muttered sarcastically.
She took out her morpher and opened it up in 'phone' mode.
"Kat, is it working?" she asked.
(Command Room)
Kat, Jane and Boom all stood near one of the right wall panels, looking at cameras of different parts of the base, showing the antbots getting shorted out by the sprinklers.
"Val, it worked." Kat explained. "They're all shutting down. You better get outside and help the others."
(Val's area)
"Okay, Kat." Val sighed, pulling herself up.
She closed her morpher up and away, before she ran off.
Outside, on the rooftop, Antbite kept looking at the Delta Base, as his tracker kept beeping, before it suddenly stopped.
"Huh? What is going on in there?!" he scowled. "My antbots should've destroyed that place by now?!"
"Now quite!" came Jack's voice.
Antbite turned around and saw him coming towards him, before he kicked his chest, sending him flying off the rooftop.
"AHH!" he yelled.
He hit the ground on his chest, as Jack jumped after him, before he landed crouched down.
"Oh!" Antbite moaned, turning to him.
The other Rangers - expect Val - all came running up behind Jack, before they all stopped in front of him.
"Uh!" he moaned, pulling himself up. "I'm surprised you're not inside dealing with my little pets, Rangers?"
"Your little pets have already been dealt with." Z assured, pointing at him.
"What are you talking about?" Antbite inquired. "My antbots can chew through anything."
"Maybe, but they also have a weakness." came Cruger's voice.
Antbite turned left and saw him running towards the others, morphed up.
"Your antbots can't stand water pressure on them." Cruger explained, stopping between Jack and Z. "It causes them to short-circuit and shut down."
"But how? The fire system inside your base should've been destroyed?!" Antbite exclaimed.
Laser blasts hit him in the chest.
"AH!" he moaned.
He clutched his chest, before he turned left, and saw Val running towards the others, holding her blaster.
"Not quite!" Val yelled.
Everyone turned as she ran towards them all, before she stopped in front of them.
"Your little pets didn't get close." she explained, putting her blaster away. "Your robot drilled the hole in the wrong place. They were nowhere near it at the time."
She turned around to Cruger, as the others looked at her.
"So, you did it, Val?" Cruger asked.
"Yes, sir." Val said, saluting. "The fire system took out every last one, so there'll be no more."
"Good work." Cruger said.
They all turned to Antbite as he pulled himself up.
"What?!" he exclaimed. "My little pets have all be destroyed!"
"You heard her, Antbite." Jack said, pointing at him.
"You should've drilled your hole in another area." Syd said.
"It might've helped if you had schematics of the base." Bridge added.
"Or if you'd put more than one hole into the base." Z added.
"Ah! I might've done that if you Rangers hadn't interfered!" Antbite growled. "And now, you'll pay for destroying my pets."
"Oh, we'll see who's gonna pay, Antbite!" Val swore. "We can promise you that."
She took out her morpher and held it up.
"SPD Emergency!"
(Morph sequence)
Val pressed her morpher's button, shooting out the hologram of her suit, before back flipped away as she morphed up. She landed crouched down, then her helmet appeared on her, then she did her fight pose.
"Space Patrol Delta!"
(End morph sequence)
All seven Rangers ran forward slightly as Antbite stared at them, before they stopped.
"Rangers, let's take him together." Cruger said.
"Yes, sir." B-Squad said.
Jack held up his blasters, as Sky held up his knuckle, while the rest held up their blades, before all seven Rangers charged forward.
"Huh? Wait?" Antbite called.
Jack jumped up and fired both his blasters as he dived down.
"Fire!" he shouted.
"AHH!" Antbite moaned, as the blasts hit him all over, making sparks come out of him. "Uh!"
Sky jumped up and twirled around, before he hit Antbite's chest with his knuckle, knocking him back slightly.
"Ah!" he moaned.
Bridge jumped up while holding his blade up, before he dived down.
"Hyah!" he yelled.
He slashed his blade down diagonally, hitting Antbite's chest, knocking him back.
"AH!" he moaned.
Z and Syd both jumped up and dived down towards him.
"Yah!" they yelled.
They both stabbed Antbite in the chest, knocking him back slightly.
"Ah!" he moaned.
Both girls landed on their feet, then they spun around and kicked kicked Antbite in the chest, knocking him away.
"AHH!" he yelled.
He hit the ground and rolled over, as Cruger came over with his sword. He pulled himself up before Cruger slashed him down the chest, then across the chest.
"AH!" Antbite moaned.
Cruger jumped up and kicked him with both feet, knocking him away as he back flipped.
"AHHH!" Antbite moaned, flying away.
Cruger landed crouched down, before he got up, as Antbite hit the ground and rolled over.
"Oh!" he moaned.
Val ran towards Cruger, who spread his arms out, before she jumped up, then kicked her foot against his right arm, before she dived up.
"Ah!" Antbite moaned, pulling himself up. "Huh?"
He looked up as Val dived down towards him.
"Hyah!" she yelled, slashing her blade down.
She hit Antbite's chest, knocking him back, before he fell and rolled over along the ground.
"Oh!" he moaned.
Val got up as the other Rangers all gathered around her, as Antbite stopped on his chest.
"Oh! This can't be happening!" he said, shaking his head. "It just can't be?!"
"Well, it is." Val said.
"So, are you coming in peacefully?" Jack asked.
"Uh, never!" Antbite scowled, getting up.
"We knew you'd say that. Lopez, this one's on you." Cruger said, turning to Val.
"Thank you, sir." Val said, saluting.
They all turned to Antbite, before she held up her morpher in 'Judgement' mode.
"It's Judgement time!" she shouted.
She pressed the button, opening it up, starting the red X blue 0 sequence, as the clock came around Antbite, the X and 0 not showing up on her morpher.
"Hey, what's going on" he exclaimed.
"For the crime in having a swarm of robot ants destroying hundreds of important buildings on 50 planets, and for trying to destroy the Delta Base, you are found..." Val began, before the X flashed on her morpher.
"Guilty!" the others said, saluting.
"What?!" Antbite gasped.
"RIC, catch!" Val shouted, holding the bone.
She tossed it up as RIC arrived and jumped up, before he bit it. His back end rotated 180 degrees, then his back legs folded down, while his tail began a handle, then his front legs rose up, then cannons rose up from them, forming the Canine Cannon, as the Rangers all caught him.
"Canine Cannon!" they shouted, taking their places as Jack aimed it.
Antbite backed away slightly, holding up his hands.
"Please, don't?" he begged.
"Target locked..." Val said.
"Fire!" the others shouted.
All but Jack pointed their hands out, who fired it, shooting two blasts out, which flew towards and hit Antbite.
"AHH!" he moaned.
Sparks and lighting came out of him, before he fell onto his chest, creating an explosion, before he was sent him flying away while now trapped in a Containment Card. The card hit the ground, before Val walked over towards it.
"Hey, let me outta this thing?" Antbite demanded. "Let me out?!"
Val bent down and picked the card up, before she held it up.
"Your little bugs won't destroy any more buildings." she promised.
Later, in the Delta Base, the Rangers all stood in the Command Room facing Cruger, who stood behind his desk, while Kat stood beside him, while other Cadets worked on the panels. The door opened up, making the Rangers turn around, as Boom and Jane both came in, before they stopped on the Rangers' left.
"You wanted to see us, sir?" Jane said, as they saluted.
"Yes." Cruger said. "At ease."
They all stood at ease.
"We did well today." Cruger said. "We have saved the base from being bitten and chewed to pieces. With that, I am proud of you all."
"Sir, I think Jane deserves some of the credit." Sky said. "She's the one who found out water was their weakness."
"I know." Cruger said. "You did well, Cadet Bailey."
"Thank you, sir." Jane said. "I have to admit through, I just grabbed the bucket and threw it at them. I thought it might've just slowed them down, not shut them off."
"Still, you did good." Cruger remarked, making them all smile. "And so did you, Val."
Everyone turned to Val as she looked at Cruger.
"If you hadn't reached the fire defence controls in time, who knows what could've happened." Cruger said.
"Thank you, sir." Val said.
"Right. Now, the damage done to the base by the antbots is a bit extreme, so it'll be a while before all the repairs are done." Cruger explained. "If an area of the base is blocked off, that'll be why. Understood?"
"Yes, sir." the Rangers, Jane and Boom said.
"Right. Dismissed." Cruger said.
The Rangers, Jane and Boom all saluted, before they all turned and walked out of the room, leaving Kat and Cruger alone.
"I think we need to improve the base." Cruger said.
"I know. I've been working on a new system that might do that, but it'll take time to get it working." Kat explained.
"Do what you can to bring it online, Kat." Cruger instructed. "I have a feeling we're gonna need it."
Kat nodded.
