Intro:
A police car drives around.
S.P.D Emergency!
The car skids to a stop, as its sirens wail.
The six Rangers then run along a street together.
Jack then jumps his bike up from an explosion. Syd hits a Krybot while jumping up with Deltamax Striker blade. Sky lifts his bike's front wheel up. Val skids her bike to a stop in front of a Blue Head. Bridge lifts up from his bike and kicks two Krybots away, while holding onto the handles. Z spins around as a Orange Head tries to hit her. Cruger stands behind an explosion in the quarry. They all stand in the cockpit of the Delta Command Megazord as it powers up, before their numbers are counted down. The Delta Squad Megazord does the Delta Strike. The sirens on the Cruger's helmet beeps, followed by the others, before Jack fires the Canine Cannon, as Sky and Bridge point their hands forward, Z and Syd touch Jack's shoulders, and Val holds the top.

The main Rangers all got knocked up via an explosion.
RIC runs away from the Delta Base, while part of the screen shows him changing into the Canine Cannon.

Delta Runner 1 drives down a tunnel. Delta Runner 2 flies above the city, then Delta Runner 3 pulls over. Delta Runners 4 and 5 race through the city, while Delta Runner 6 skids to a stop.
They then all come out of their spots from the Delta Command Crawler.

In a field, Cruger and Jack were having a lesson in swordsmanship, with Jack getting knocked away.
"Whoa!" he yelped, twirling around.
He hit the ground on his back and rolled over onto his chest, as his training sword hit the ground near him. He picked it up as he pulled himself up.
"Is that all you've got?" he asked.
Cruger walked to his left while lowering his sword, before he turned to Jack.
"Honestly, no." he said, raising his sword up. "But this isn't a battle, it's a lesson in swordsmanship. So, I'll take it easy on you."
"Don't hold back on my account, Boss. You just might be surprised." Jack said. "Hyah!"
He charged at Cruger, who jumped up and twirled around sideways as Jack tried to slash him in the legs.
"What?!" Jack exclaimed, turning around.
Cruger slashed his sword slightly with his own, knocking Jack back slightly, as he landed on his feet. Jack turned and held his sword sideways, then charged and tried to slash Cruger, who blocked it with his sword, then he tried to slash Jack as they both spun around, but missed. Jack then tried again, but Cruger blocked it with the butt of his sword, before they locked their swords together.
"Come on?" Cruger dared.
Jack pulled his sword away and tried to kick Cruger's chest, but Cruger crossed his forearms over, making him kick them, causing him to back flip away.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
He landed on his feet and stumbled back slightly, before he held his sword up.
"Let's do this." Cruger said, turning his around.
"Ha!" Jack yelled, charging forward.
Cruger charged back and ducked as he tried to slash him, before he turned to Jack and slashed his back slightly with his sword.
"Ah!" Jack groaned.
He fell to his knees, then onto his chest, then turned to Cruger, who laughed while holding his hand out, which Jack took.
"Cadet." Cruger said, helping him up.
"All right." Jack said.
"I think that will be all for today." Cruger said, patting his shoulder.
He turned around and began to walk off, as Jack clutched his sword.
"Just one more try?" he said, holding it up. "Hyah!"
He charged at Cruger, who turned around.
"Huh?" he muttered.
He turned around and sliced Jack's sword in half, making him stop.
"I said that is all!" Cruger growled, as both halves of Jack's sword hit the ground.
He twirled his sword around and put it away.
"Okay, I get it. Class dismissed." Jack said.
"Power down!" they shouted, Cruger holding his right hand like a ninja, Jack crossing his forearms over while holding his front two fingers up.
They both de-morphed, then turned and began to walk off.
"You know, Boss, if I had that Shadow Saber, I could probably beat you." Jack said.
"No you couldn't." Cruger said, holding up a finger as he stopped and turned to him.
Jack stopped near him.
"Even if I gave you my sword, and I took what is left of yours, I would still defeat you." Cruger explained, pointing at his sword, then at Jack, before they walked off. "Your arrogance is blinding."
He stopped and pointed at his head as he turned to Jack again.
"It has you believing, that it is the sword that makes the difference and not the swordsman." he explained. "Dismissed, Cadet!"
He turned and walked off, while Jack was unconvinced by that statement.
On Grumm's ship, Grumm and Morgana both stood in the control room near the panel, Morgana holding Cindy Sunshine.
"I have found someone capable of defeating the Power Rangers." Grumm said.
"I could've found someone!" Morgana complained.
"But you didn't, so I did." Grumm hissed. "The Legendary Protector of Kyoto; the Samurai Katana."
"Samurai?" Morgana questioned.
"Yes." Grumm said.
(Flashback)
160 years ago, in Kyoto, Japan, a blue alien with fins on his arms and legs, and orange lights on his face, chest and forearms - including his nose - walked away from a crashed spaceship in a forest while clutching his chest.
"Katana was not always Samurai, he is alien."
Katana stumbled onto a dirt road, when a Japanese Samurai member of the Shinsengumi spotted him. He prepared to take out his sword, when Katana fell onto his chest.
"His spaceship crash landed on Earth..."
The Samurai ran over to Katana.
"...where he was found by..."
He turned Katana over onto his chest, seeing a nasty cut on his chest.
"...a Human Samurai, in Kyoto Japan."
They both soon sat in a temple together, meditating - Katana's wounds now healed.
"He was nursed back to health..."
They both stood outside, holding a shinai each, doing a slash move.
"...and once healthy..."
They turned around and did a slash move.
"...took up their ways..."
They pulled their swords back to do a block move.
"...and became the..."
The Samurai backed away as Katana sent slashes at him, blocking them with his own sword.
"...first alien Samurai."
They both sat in the temple meditating again.
(Flashback ends)
"But how did he get here?" Morgana asked curiously.
"Two words; time portal." Grumm answered, chuckling. "I brought Katana from 160 years ago to present day. He is the prefect weapon to defeat the Power Rangers, with a little help from Broodwing."
He held out his hand to motion him, who stood on the other side of the panel.
"At your service, Emperor." Broodwing said.
Meanwhile, in the Delta Base, the Rangers were all in the Common Room, Jack standing by a window, looking at the city, while the rest were sitting down - expect Sky. Syd was reading a magazine book with herself on the cover, while Val was reading a crime/Det. comic - both sitting in a chair - as Bridge held his front two right bare fingers on his forehead, trying to read Z's thoughts as she sat opposite him with a comic, both on a beanbag.
"Hold the thought?" Bridge asked.
He closed his eyes to concentrate.
"Okay..." he said.
"Squad leaders, report to..." a man instructed.
"It's coming clearer. Okay, I got it." Bridge said, opening his eyes and lowering his hand. "You're thinking that I've lost it, right?"
Sky crouched down near him and Z.
"You're right." Z replied.
"I was thinking that too." Sky said.
"Me three." Syd said, lowering her magazine slightly.
"Me four." Val said, turning a page in her comic.
"Go ahead and mock me, guys. Thoughts are energy." Bridge said, as Sky sat down beside Syd. "Energy travels. Thoughts are my weapon of the future."
He touched his head as Sky rolled his eyes.
"Okay, thought man, do Jack?" Sky asked, touching his head mockingly.
"Okay." Bridge said.
They all turned to Jack - expect Syd - as he put his fingers on the side of his head.
"It's not fair. If Cruger let me use the Shadow Saber, I'd beat him." he said. "He knows that too. That's why he won't let me use it."
"Jack?" Sky said. "Jack?"
Jack turned around to them all.
"What?" he asked.
"What were you just thinking about?" Z asked.
"Yeah, you looked like you had something on your mind." Val noted.
"Oh, I do. I was thinking it's not fair. I know if Cruger let me use his sword, I could beat him." Jack explained. "He knows that too. That's why he won't let me use it."
Syd turned from him to Bridge in amazement, as Jack turned back to the window. The others all turned to Bridge as he touched his head.
"Weapon of the future." he said, as Z pointed at him.
"Gotta admit, very good, Bridge." Val noted.
The alarm went off, making the girls put their comics/magazine down, as Jack turned around.
"Rangers, report to..."
"Oh, here we go." Z said, as all but Jack got up.
"...the Command Center immediately." Kat instructed.
The Rangers all ran out of the room.
In the Command Room, Cruger and Kat both stood by one of the wall panels, as the Rangers all came in and approached them from behind. The screen showed Japan, with a glowing blip at Kyoto.
"There's been an abnormal temporal energy reading in Kyoto, Japan." Cruger explained, as the screen zoomed in on Kyoto. "Someone has opened a time portal. My guess it's Grumm."
"I've got a visual." Kat reported, pressing buttons on a tablet.
The screen showed the time portal at Kyoto, which was in a forest, before Katana stepped out, who wore a red cloak around his body - including the lower part of his mouth area, a Samurai helmet, and a sword holder.
"Where am I? This forest?" he said, looking around. "Familiar, yet different?"
He walked slightly to his right as the time portal closed.
Cruger growled as he turned around, then walked past a gap through the Rangers.
"Grumm has pulled a warrior from the past." he said.
The Rangers and Kat all turned to him as he stopped and turned around.
"I want you to go to Kyoto, Japan." he explained, as Sky nodded. "This warrior wears the garb of the Ancient Samurai, so don't underestimate his swordsmanship."
"Sir, there is no better time." Jack said, stepping forward. "Let me have the Shadow Saber?"
"It is not your weapon." Cruger said. "You have all your need to defeat him. Go!"
The Rangers all turned and walked out of the room.
In Kyoto, Japan, Katana was standing on a rooftop, looking down at the city, which included a monorail car moving along a track. As he looked at the city, he looked confused by all the modern buildings.
"Where is this...? This isn't the Kyoto that I was sworn to protect." he said. "Many strange sites? Many strange things?"
He saw several people crossing a road at a Zebra Crossing, before he clutched his sword.
"But that is my pledge." he said.
A little later, the Rangers were all in a field in Kyoto, watching a ship flying away - which had brought them all here - as they turned around.
"The Warrior could be anywhere." Syd said.
"And since he's new to this time period, he's bound to get lost." Val added.
"I say we use the weapon." Sky joked.
"Me?" Bridge said, getting everyone's attention. "For real?"
"You can do it, Bridge." Z said.
"Hmm." Jack nodded.
Bridge stepped forward, then he crouched down and took off his right glove. He then touched the side of his head with his front two fingers, using his powers.
"This is strong energy." he said. "I'm getting a vocal reading."
The others looked at him as he his eyes.
"Where am I? This...this forest?" he said. "Familiar, yet different?"
"That was amazing." Jack said, as Bridge opened his eyes. "We have a Samurai to catch."
They all began to walk off towards some Japanese shrines.
"Let's go." Jack said, who was in the lead.
Nearby, Katana stood on a road, holding his sword sideways with both hands, when a bunch of cars full of tourists pulled over in front of him.
"Whoa!" a boy said.
"What?" another said.
"You, in your armored dragons!" Katana growled, thinking they were invaders.
The tourists got out of their cars and panicked.
"If you try to come closer to Kyoto, you will face my wrath!" Katana warned.
He slashed his sword down diagonally as lighting hit it, which spread across the ground towards the tourists.
"Ah!" several gasped.
"Oh, no!" a woman gasped.
Sparks came up from the ground in front of their cars.
"Yah!" Katana grunted, standing upright.
The tourists still in their cars turned them around and raced off, while the others all chased them on foot.
"Run for it!" a woman cried.
"Run!" another cried.
"AH!" a third screamed.
"Good, Kyoto is safe." Katana said.
Nearby, the Rangers all stared at him while standing in a line. (Val was on Z's right)
"Hey!" Jack said.
Katana turned to them all.
"What? Your stance indicates aggression?" he noted, pointing at them. "Are you warriors of some invading tribe, trying to take over Kyoto?"
"We're SPD." Jack answered.
"Do yourself a favor and surrender quietly?" Sky advised.
"I do not surrender my sword to anyone but my Emperor." Katana snapped, taking it out.
Lighting went off in the sky.
"I am Katana, Defender of Kyoto!" he shouted.
He raised his sword up, then slashed it down diagonally, which hit all six Rangers, making sparks come out of the ground around them.
"Whoa!" they yelled.
"AHH!" Sky and Val yelped.
"Whoa!" Bridge yelled.
"Uh!" they moaned, hitting the ground on his chest.
"Ah!" Katana yelled, holding up his sword.
He pointed it at the Rangers as they got up, all but Sky and Bridge bringing out their blasters.
"Leave here or face the consequences." he said, stepping forward.
The Rangers moved to their left slightly as he did the same, before he charged at them all, then they all moved as he tried to slash them.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped.
Bridge barely dodged the sword as Katana nearly hit him with his sword.
Jack ducked as he tried to slash him, then ducked as he tried again, then he spun around while trying to slash them all. Bridge and the girls all moved back, as Sky and Jack turned around and moved/rolled away, before they both turned to him.
Katana charged at Z, who blocked his sword by crossing her forearms over.
"Hyah!" she yelled, kicking his chest, knocking him back slightly.
Katana spun around to slash Syd, who ducked and moved away, as Bridge jumped up and flipped sideways to his left.
"Hyah!" he yelled.
He landed on his feet as Katana tried to slash him, then he turned and tried to slash Val, who ducked and spun around, trying to tackle him, but missed as he moved back. He then charged at Z and tried to slash her as Bridge ran off, hitting her slightly, before she grabbed his sword, then Syd came over and tried to help her, when he pulled it up.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped.
"Hi-yah!" Z yelled.
They both back flipped away and hit the ground on their backs.
Bridge wrapped his arms around Katana, who spun around to face Sky, who held up his blaster.
"Yah!" Sky yelled.
He jumped to his right and fired it three times, but Katana deflected each blast with his sword, before Sky hit and rolled along the ground. Jack side flipped to his right behind Sky, who got up to his knees and blocked Katana's sword with his blaster. Katana pulled his sword away, then Sky ducked and moved away from him as he tried to slash him, before he hit Jack's arm with the butt of his sword, knocking him away slightly. He grabbed Bridge's arm as he spun around, slashing Sky slightly with his sword, knocking him and Bridge down near Syd and Z, as Val ran over to them.
"Whoa!" Bridge yelped, as they hit the ground.
"You guys okay?" Val asked, crouching down.
"We've been better." Sky replied.
Val got up and charged at Katana, then spun around to kick him, but missed as he dodged, then he tried to whack her with the butt of his sword, but missed as she ducked. She then tried to whack him up the chest with her blaster, but missed as he blocked it with his sword, before he kicked her chest, knocking her down near the others.
"OH!" she moaned, hitting the ground on her side.
Katana turned to Jack and tried to slash him, but he crossed his forearms over and blocked it with his blaster.
"Ah!" Jack grunted.
Katana pushed him back, then Jack ducked as Katana tried to slash him twice.
"Ah!" he yelped, rolling over.
He stopped on his back, then held up his blaster, when Katana knocked it out of his hands.
"No way!" he exclaimed.
His blaster hit the ground near Katana, who lowered his sword.
"You are defenceless." he said, as Jack held his hands up. "I have the advantage."
He looked at the blaster up and reached for it curiously.
"Humph? Your weapon?" he said, picking it up. "Very strange."
He approached Jack, who looked confused.
"I will not fight an unarmed opponent." he said, holding the blaster out.
Val lifted her head up and looked at them both.
"Eso es... honor." Val muttered, surprised.
Jack took the blaster from Katana as he backed away.
"Thanks." Jack said.
"Now, we continue." Katana said, moving away, holding his sword up.
Jack pulled himself up, then he ducked as Katana tried to slash him twice with his sword.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
He ducked and ran past Katana, who spun around to slash him again, making him miss.
"Whoa!" Jack yelped.
Nearby, Broodwing came out from behind a tree, staring at the fight in disgust.
"Hmm? I don't like these odds. Let's make them lopsided." he said, holding a Krybot sphere.
He tossed it up, which shattered, then dozens of Krybots landed on the ground.
Jack and Bridge both kicked Katana's chest, knocking him back, before they both spotted the Krybots.
"Okay, defiantly the Emperor he's defending is Grumm." Jack said.
The Krybots all charged at the Rangers and past Katana.
"Yah!" the Rangers yelled.
Jack dodged and whacked ones arm as it ran past him, while the others charged at the Krybots.
"Huh?" Katana muttered.
"Hyah!" Jack yelled, as the Rangers began to fight the Krybots.
Katana turned around, as a Krybot spun around to kick Jack, but he blocked it with his forearm, then moved past it. Z sent a kick at ones leg, but missed as it moved back, while Bridge dodged as another tried to slash him with its blade, then grabbed a third's arm.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Katana quoted, before he put his sword away.
Z grabbed ones arm and pulled it down onto its chest, as Bridge dodged to avoid another's blade.
"I will let them have their battle and move on." Katana said, before he walked off.
Sky ducked as Krybot ran past and tried to slash him with its blade, then he kicked its leg as it turned to him, knocking it onto its chest. He dodged and grabbed another's forearm as it tried to punch him, before he pulled the arm back, then twirled it around, causing the Krybot to fall onto its back. He did a sideways flip to his right, then waved his right arm, creating a forcefield, which shot over and knocked down another five.
One kicked Jack's left leg, knocking him up, then it and another three all grabbed him by the arms and legs.
"AH!" he yelled, before they threw him away. "AHH!"
He went flying towards a tree, but he phased through it, then twirled around and landed on his feet.
"Oh!" he grunted, before he spun around and tackled one, tripping it up. "Hyah!"
Z - who cloned herself - ducked and ran past one as it tried to slash her, while Z 2 grabbed and pushed another by the arm, then let go while kicking a third's away. She ducked as the second tried to punch her, then grabbed its arm as it tried to whack her, before she pulled it and flipped it over onto its back. Z 1 blocked a fourth's punch with her forearm, before punching its chest, then punched the first's chest, then turned and kicked a fifth's chest.
Val dodged as one tried to stab her with its blade, before she whacked its chest with her forearm, knocking it down. She then did a sideways handspring to her right as another tried to tackle her, then did two backwards ones, before she hid behind a tree. It ran over towards the tree, seeing no sign of her, before her right kick came out from it, kicking the Krybot and knocking it onto its back, before she stepped forward, turning off her camouflage.
Syd side flipped over a car hood, landing on it, then back flipped off it onto the ground, landing on her feet, before she spun around and tackled one.
Bridge ducked as one tried to punch him, then punched another's chest, then turned and punched the first's chest, knocking it onto its back.
They all gathered around Bridge. (Val was on Jack's left)
"Good going, guys." Jack said.
"Yeah, but Katana slipped away during the fight." Bridge explained.
"He won't get far." Sky assured. "We'll find him."
They all turned to Jack, who was thinking about the fight with Katana.
"What's going on, Jack?" Z asked.
"Huh?" Jack muttered, looking up at her.
"What's up?" Z asked.
"Nothing. But he had me, and then he gave me my laser back." Jack recalled, confused.
"It's called honor." Val explained. "All Ninjas and Samurais follow a code of honor. Anyone who doesn't is considered a disgrace to their kind."
The others all looked at her.
"What? Don't you guys read up on history?" Val questioned.
"Depends on the type." Sky answered.
"You guys seriously need to know this." Val sighed. "Those who fight with honor will always fight fairly against any opponent. Meaning, he's not gonna fight us dirty and unfairly like most."
The others all looked confused, making her sigh.
"I'm seriously gonna have to explain this when we get back." she sighed.
Later, Katana ran away from a Japanese studio building - which was working on a Edo period film - before he stopped and stared at the modern civilisation outside.
"I do not understand this. What has happened to my beloved Kyoto?" he questioned, looking around.
Broodwing came down from the sky and landed in front of him.
"Come with me, friend? I will explain all." he promised.
He grabbed Katana and flew off with him.
A little later, they stood opposite each other behind a wall of a Japanese old building.
"What do you want, strange one?" Katana asked.
"You have been brought to the future by a great Emperor to defend Kyoto. Those invaders want to destroy your beautiful city." Broodwing lied.
"NO!" Katana exclaimed. "I have sworn an orth to defend Kyoto with my life."
He turned slightly, as Broodwing began to walk behind him.
"I have enlisted the help of the robot God Marato to protect the buildings of Kyoto from the Power Rangers." Broodwing explained, before he stopped and turned to him. "They are intent on making your city their own, and have already defeated the soldiers I sent to protect you. I am Broodwing, and am honor bound to help you fight them off."
Meanwhile, the Rangers were in a field near a river together, Bridge crouched in front of the others. (Val was on Z's left)
"Keep looking, Bridge." Sky said.
Bridge took off his right glove and waved his hand around, finding Katana's aura, which walked around slowly, like he was looking around.
"Okay, I've got him, but he's temporal energy's fading fast." Bridge explained. "The longer he stays in this time, the less likely I'll be able to track him."
"Okay, then let's move quickly." Jack suggested.
Before they could move, the Marato Robot landed nearby, which had 13 sets of drawers on all over it - the ones on its shoulders being bigger than the rest - a blue orb on each hand, which resembled a claw, and was the same size as the Delta Command Megazord.
They all moved back slightly by the shockwave, then looked up at it.
"Look?" Syd said, pointing at it.
"That's a big one." Val noted.
The Marato Robot stopped in front of a Japanese tall temple building, before one of its draws opened up. It shot beams from its orbs, which hit the building, then sucked it into the draw, which closed up.
"Guys, look!" Jack said.
The Marato Robot shot beams from its orbs at another building - this one being longer and wider.
"He's taking the buildings." Jack said.
The building got sucked into another of the Marato Robot's draws.
"Oh, no!" Syd gasped.
The Marato Robot turned and shot its beams at a smaller building, which looked like two conjoined houses. It fired them again at another building, which resembled a shrine bunker - which was full of tourists - then both buildings got sucked into a draw each.
"Is Katana in that giant robot?" Jack asked.
"No. His energy signature came from the other direction." Bridge explained, pointing at it.
"That doesn't sound very honorable, Val?" Z questioned, turning to her.
"There has to be a reason, Z." Val said fairly. "It's possible he doesn't know about this."
"Still, better be safe than sorry." Sky said, taking out his morpher and opening it up in 'Phone' mode. "Commander Cruger..."
(Delta Base)
Cruger turned his chair around at his desk, as Kat stood on the other side, with Cadets all working on the panels.
"...the Samurai's brought in a giant robot and is stealing Kyoto shrines." Sky explained.
"Kat?" Cruger said.
"Sir, it all goes to plan, I can have Delta Base to Kyoto, Japan in less than 15 minutes." Kat explained.
"Excellent." Cruger said, making her smile.
Later, back in Kyoto, Katana was approaching his old training temple.
"This is my temple, but it looks so much older now." he noted.
"Hey, up here!" Jack called.
Katana looked up, seeing him jump up and somersaulted forward, followed by Bridge, Z, Sky, Syd and Val.
"SPD Emergency!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split into six, Sky in the top left, Jack in the top middle, Bridge in the top right, Syd in the bottom left, Z in the bottom middle, Val in the bottom right. They all pressed their morpher's buttons, shooting out the holograms on their suits, before they morphed up, then their helmets appeared on them.

They all landed on top of the Japanese shrine, staring down at him.
"Who are you?" Katana demanded, pointing at them - holding his sword.
"1, SPD Red!"
"2, SPD Blue!"
"3, SPD Green!"
"4, SPD Yellow!"
"5, SPD Pink!"
"6, SPD Purple!"
"Space Patrol Delta!" they shouted, as the 'Police' badge popped up behind them.
They all put their morphers away, then Jack somersaulted down towards Katana, followed by Val, Syd, Z, Bridge and Sky, all landed on the ground crouched down. They all got up and turned around, as Katana pointed his sword at them.
"Congratulations, you have picked my ancestor's ground to be defeated on." he said.
"Uh-oh." Jack gulped.
"Great?" Bridge said sarcastically.
"What?" Syd said.
"Huh?" Val muttered.
Sky and Z both turned to each other.
"Prepare for battle?" Katana said, holding his sword up.
He charged forward as the Rangers all moved in front of Jack.
"Whoa!" Syd yelped.
"Ah!" Val gasped.
Katana slashed Bridge with his sword, making him flip forwards onto his chest, then he spun around and slashed Sky across the chest, knocking him down. He then slashed Syd, knocking her down as she turned around, then slashed Z's shoulder, knocking her away, then he slashed Val down the chest.
"AH!" she moaned, falling onto her back.
Katana slashed Jack down the chest as he tried to kick him, then slashed him across the chest while running past him.
"Ah!" Jack moaned.
He fell forwards towards the others, before he rolled towards them, as Sky and Bridge got up and got in front of the others. The girls all got up, then all five Rangers took out their blades.
"Get him!" Sky said.
"Yah!" Bridge yelled, as they charged forward.
"Hyah!" the girls yelled.
Sky tried to slash Katana, but he blocked his blade with his sword, making him roll past him. He then slashed Bridge's blade slightly as he tried to hit him, making Bridge run past him, then he slashed Z down the chest.
"AH!" Z moaned, as she turned around and fell over.
Katana turned and blocked Val's blade with his sword, before she ducked and rolled past him as he tried to slash her. He grabbed Syd's right forearm as she tried to stab him, then he turned around as Sky came at him. He slashed Sky across the chest, flipping him over onto his back, then he slashed Bridge across the chest, knocking him down, then he slashed Val across the chest as she came at him.
"OH!" she moaned, flipping past him.
Katana let go of Syd's forearm, then turned and slashed her down the chest.
"AH!" she moaned.
He spun around and slashed both Z and Syd across the chest, knocking them both down.
"Oh!" Syd moaned.
She and Z rolled over towards the others, both stopping by Val and the boys, as Jack got up and got in front of them all, clutching his chest. Katana turned to them all, as all but Jack pulled themselves up.
"Yah!" they yelled.
"I call on the ancestors..." Katana said, holding his sword up, pointing it down diagonally - holding the end with his left hand. "...to strike you down!"
"What?" Jack exclaimed.
Lighting went off behind Katana.
"Sword of Kyoto!" he shouted.
He raised his sword up, then slashed it down diagonally, which hit all six Rangers, making sparks come out of their chests.
"WHOA!" they yelled.
"AHH!" Bridge yelled.
They all hit the ground.
"Let that be a lesson." Katana said, pointing at them. "Farewell."
He turned and ran off.
Z and Syd rolled along the ground towards the others, as Jack got up and got in front of them all.
"Hey! Look, he's gone!" Jack exclaimed.
"Well, at least I was right about him not being in the robot." Val said, getting up.
"Yeah, you were." Z admitted, as she and the others got up. "There's defiantly something not right here."
In the Delta Base, Kat walked around Cruger behind his desk, holding a tablet.
"You realize that by taking the Delta Base to Japan, you'll be leaving New Tech City completely defenceless?" Kat said, stopping on his right as she turned to him.
"I understand the risk, but we can't afford to let Grumm get a foothold anywhere on Earth." Cruger explained, clutching his fist, before waving his hand out.
"Yes, sir." Kat understood.
"Hmm." Cruger nodded.
"Preparing Delta Base hyper speed rover mode." Kat said, pressing buttons on her tablet. "Commencing countdown. 5..."
(Outside)
The sirens all over the Delta Base wailed.
"...4..."
(Inside)
"...3..."
(Outside)
Stream came out of the top half of the Delta Base.
"...2..."
(Inside)
"...1."
(Outside)
The Delta Base transformed into the Delta Command Crawler, before its Photon Beams rose up from its back. It began racing along the road, before its hyper speed activated, dashing it out of the city and beyond.
(Inside)
Kat held onto Cruger's desk due to the speed making it hard to stand up, while Cruger held onto either side of it.
"Ah!" he grunted.
(Outside)
The Delta Command Crawler slowed its pace down, as it arrived in Kyoto.
"Rangers, we have just arrived in Kyoto..." Cruger began.
The Delta Command Crawler opened up its hatches.
"...and are preparing to launch Delta Runners."
The Delta Runners all raced or lifted up away from their hatches, which raced towards the Marato Robot. The Rangers all jumped into their Runners once they got close.
"We're in." Jack said.
The Delta Runners all approached the Marato Robot.
"I'm aim for the draws." Sky said, pressing his knob's button.
Delta Runner 2 fired its Gatling Blasters at the Marato Robot, but the blasts bounced off the drawers as sparks came out of it.
"I can't hit them!" Sky exclaimed.
More sparks came out of the Marato Robot.
"Let me try?" Jack said, pressing a button, extending Delta Runner 1's claws.
Delta Runner 4 lifted its high-beams off of itself, as Delta Runner 3's back extended out, then the blade shot out of it. They both combined together via Delta Runner 1's claws, which then attached them both to its left back wheel. It raced towards the Marato Robot, when the bottom half of its middle draw opened up, showing a bunch of blasters, which fired at it, hitting the ground behind Delta Runner 1.
"Whoa!" Jack yelped, grunting. "I'm hit!"
The Delta Command Crawler raced towards the battle.
"Rangers, come back to base." Cruger instructed.
(Delta Base)
Cruger sat behind his desk, morphed up.
"We'll have to join powers to defeat Marato." he explained.
The screen split into six, from left to right, Sky, Z, Jack, Val, Syd and Bridge.
"Yes, sir" they said, saluting.
(Outside)
The Delta Command Crawler pulled over, as the Delta Runners began to race backwards towards it.
"Opening loading bays." Jack said, pulling his knob backwards.
The Delta Command Crawler's loading bays opened up.
"Let's back 'em up." Jack said, pulling his knob further back.
The Delta Runners all raced backwards towards the Delta Command Crawler, before they all raced backwards into it - expect Delta Runner 2 which landed at its place. - then the loading bays closed up.
(Command Room)
"Prepare for transformation." Cruger said, sitting behind his desk.
He held up his right hand, then pressed a button on his desk with his front two fingers. His desk began to move backwards, as the hatch opened up behind it.
"Delta Command Megazord, activate!" he shouted.
"Requesting transformation."
(Outside)
The Delta Command Crawler didn't move, while inside, all six Delta Runners powered up, their wheels lighting up brightly. Beams shot through them, which ran along every inch of the Delta Command Crawler, powering it up.
The head of the Delta Command Crawler split in half and retracted out 90 degrees. The walls in the safety zones and other areas began coming down quickly, while a few opened up, showing the pipes and wires. The Delta Command Crawler began to stand itself upright, until it was on its feet.
"Delta Base robot, standing!"
The top of the base rotated backwards 180 degrees, showing the head, forming the Delta Command Megazord.
The Rangers all arrived in the cockpit and held up their morphers as they stood behind their podiums.
"Rangers in position!" they shouted, putting their morphers down, before pressing the buttons on them. "Morphers locked and activate!"
The systems all around the cockpit lit up.
The Delta Command Megazord stood facing the Marato Robot, before it shot crime scene tape from its right middle finger, wrapping around the Marato Robot.
"That should hold that hunk of wood." Jack hoped.
(SPD Lab)
Kat stood by her computer, which had an image of the Marato Robot, before it zoomed in, showing a Blue-Head was piloting it.
"Sir, scans reveal a Blue-Head is piloting the robot and there is no other control." she explained.
(Cockpit)
"A Blue-Head?" Bridge questioned.
"Then where's the Samurai?" Sky questioned, turning left.
"You got me?" Val shrugged.
"Something's not right." Jack said.
He turned and ran off towards the door.
"Jack, wait?" Cruger said.
Jack stopped and turned to him.
"Sir?" he said.
"I've walked into Grumm's trap." Cruger said, turning to him. "You must find Katana quickly. He may be our only hope to deciphering Grumm's ulterior motive."
"Sir, Katana is a master swordsman. He easily defeated all six of us." Jack explained. "I'll bring you the Samurai if you'll let me use the Shadow Saber."
"All that is in your head, Jack." Cruger said. "You do not need my sword to defeat Katana."
"Sir, we can argue this point until there's no time left." Jack argued. "I'll bring him in, just let me have your sword?"
Cruger turned to him, before he took out his sword and handed it to him.
"Take it?" he said.
Jack took the sword from him, who looked at it.
"Thank you, sir." he said, turning to Cruger, who nodded. "I won't let you down."
In New Tech City, four Krybots came out of the 'New Tech City Iridium Plant', carrying two boxes of it in pairs. One pointed at a pile of other boxes, which they approached, before putting them on the pile.
(Grumm's ship)
Grumm laughed as he stood behind the control panel, staring at a holographic image of them.
"Well done, Broodwing." he said, clapping his hands. "My plan is going smoothly. SPD is in Kyoto, and the New Tech City Iridium Plant, was left unguarded."
The Krybots - along with others stood near the boxes, which had a teleportal device on, which counted down to 5 seconds, before they looked up.
They vanished from the hologram, before Broodwing showed up again.
"Have the Samurai and the robot finish off the Rangers, and I will see to it, that Japan becomes yours." Grumm promised.
"As you wish, Emperor." Broodwing said, bowing his head.
Grumm turned around and walked off.
Back in Japan, Katana was meditating in a forest, when he heard a noise as the trees blew.
"Huh?" he gasped.
He turned and took out his sword slightly, as Jack came out from some bamboo trees.
"Knew I'd find you here." he said.
"We meet again." Katana said.
"You wanna get back from where you came?" Jack inquired.
"Yes." Katana answered.
"The portal will open one more time. That'll be your one chance to get back." Jack explained, walking around him.
"That is my business, invader." Katana said coldly, putting his sword away, before he got up. "Why have you not fled, after I defeated you."
He turned and walked off, before Jack began to follow him.
"I admire your courage." Katana admitted. "But that is not enough."
"We're not invaders." Jack swore, as they stopped. "We came here to help."
He stepped out from some trees behind Katana.
"Maybe we can help you get back home. I know you are an honorable warrior." Jack said. "You could've struck me down in our earlier fight."
(Flashback)
Jack ducked as Katana tried to slash him twice.
"Ah!" he yelped, rolling over.
He stopped on his back, then held up his blaster, when Katana knocked it out of his hands. It hit the ground near Katana, who soon held it up near Jack.
"I will not fight an unarmed opponent." he said, holding the blaster out.
Jack took his blaster back.
(Flashback ends)
"But didn't." Jack said. "My friend Val told me she knows your type, about refusing to fight unfairly. She's read up about people like you."
"Hmm?" Katana muttered.
"You have good intentions, but you've been used by an evil Emperor named Grumm." Jack explained.
"Liar!" Katana scowled, turning around. "No one used Katana! I fight only for the freedom of Kyoto."
"Grumm has brought you from your time to help with his plan." Jack explained. "He not only wants to take Kyoto for his own, but Earth as well. My friends and I have come here to stop him."
"There is only one way to know if you're telling the truth. We must duel!" Katana said, taking out his sword, not believing him.
"Oh, boy..." Jack muttered.
"I am waiting." Katana said.
Jack took out his morpher and held it up.
"SPD Emergency!"

Jack pressed his morpher's button, shooting out the hologram of his suit, before he morphed up, then his helmet appeared on him.

He took out and held up the Shadow Saber.
"I'm ready." he said.
In Kyoto, Broodwing was hanging upside down from a Japanese temple building, looking at the Marato Robot and the Delta Command Megazord.
"Ha! That won't hold him for long." he scoffed. "Grumm will be pleased with my progress."
The crime scene tape around the Marato Robot lit up, before the robot lifted its arms up and freed itself from the tape. The Delta Command Megazord stared at it, before it fired its chest blasters, hitting the Delta Command Megazord all over as sparks came out of it.
"Whoa!" the Rangers yelped, wobbling.
"Doggie, scanners have revealed the targets." Kat explained.
(SPD Lab)
Kat looked at her computer, the screen still showing the Marato Robot, which zoomed in on the right blue orb, then moved to the left.
"Destroy the glowing blue orb on each side and you won't harm the buildings." she explained.
(Cockpit)
"Got it." Cruger said, looking up. "Ready Finger Lasers? Fire!"
The Delta Command Megazord held up its arms, then fired its Finger Lasers, hitting the Marato Robot, destroying the orbs on its claws, as sparks came out of the body. Four bright lights came out of the robot, before the Japanese tall temple building returned to its spot. The longer and wider building went next, followed by the shrine bunker full of tourists, then the conjoined houses shaped building.
In the woods, Jack and Katana both stared at each other, holding their swords up.
"You sure you wanna do this?" Jack asked.
"The truth shall prevail." Katana answered.
They both looked at each other as they prepared themselves, looking right at each other's eyes beneath their helmet/cloak respectfully. Wind blew in the trees, allowing the sun to shine down, before Katana turned his sword slightly, shining the sunlight off it, which blinded Jack.
"Ah!" he yelped, turning away.
Katana charged at him, as Jack lowered his arms, before turning back to him.
"Hyah!" he yelled, charging forward.
They both slashed each other's swords slightly as they ran past each other, then they turned around to slash each other, but Katana missed as Jack ducked, while Jack missed as Katana raised his leg up. Katana slashed his sword down, but missed Jack, as he spun around and moved away, then Jack tried to slash Katana, but missed as Katana spun around and moved back. He turned back to Jack and held his arms out, as Jack pointed the Shadow Saber at him.
"Hyah!" Katana growled, holding his sword upright.
"Come on?" Jack dared, holding his sword over his head.
Katana charged at him, who charged back.
"Yah!" Jack yelled, as they slashed their swords together.
He ducked and ran past Katana, who tried to slash him.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
He got up and turned around, then blocked Katana's sword with the Shadow Saber, then they both spun around and locked their swords together again. They both spun around and slashed their weapons together again, before Katana pulled away and ducked, trying to slash Jack's legs.
"Whoa!" he yelled, jumping up.
He somersaulted over Katana, landing on his feet near a bamboo tree, before they both turned to each other. Katana held his sideways as they both side stepped, before they stopped, then Jack held his sword up. Katana held his down slightly, before they charged at each other, before Jack stopped.
"Hyah!" he yelled, blocking Katana's sword with his own, before spinning around.
He grabbed Katana's right arm while spinning around, then tried to hit him from behind, but he blocked Jack's right arm with his left.
"Ah!" Jack groaned.
They both let go and moved away, before they turned to each other.
Katana held his sword, pointing it down diagonally - holding the end with his left hand.
"Sword of Kyoto!" he shouted, as lighting went off behind him.
Jack held the Shadow Saber up in the same pose.
"Shadow Saber!" he shouted, as lighting went off behind him.
Katana held up his sword, when Jack charged at him, then slashed Katana's sword up and out of his hands.
"Ah!" Katana gasped.
Jack held the Shadow Saber over his head as lighting went off behind him and into it, then he slashed it downwards, hitting Katana, slicing his Samurai hat in half, both ends hitting the ground.
In the city, the Delta Command Megazord kept staring at the Marato Robot.
"Full power!" Cruger shouted.
All six Rangers clutched their left fists and held them up.
"Ready? Fire!" they shouted, pushing their hands out, opening their fingers.
The Delta Command Megazord's sirens wailed, as its Photon Beams and chest area lit up, before a powerful blast shot from the chest, which hit the Marato Robot. Sparks came out all over it, before it turned around and fell on its back, then it blew up.
In the woods, Katana looked at his hat, now believing Jack was telling the truth.
"So, the truth is, I have been deceived." Katana sighed, disgracefully.
"I'm sorry to do this, but I have to be sure." Jack said, holding his morpher up in 'Judgement' mode. "Judgement!"
He pressed the button, opening it up, starting the red X blue 0 sequence, as the clock came around Katana - who didn't move unlike the previous aliens the Rangers had judged. The X and 0 didn't show up on his morpher, when the 0 flashed on it.
"Not guilty. I knew it." Jack said, lowering his morpher.
"Red fighter, you are an honorable warrior." Katana remarked.
"So are you." Jack said, holding his right hand up like a pistol, de-morphing.
His morpher beeped, which he took back out and opened in 'Phone' mode.
"Jack..."
(SPD Lab)
"...there's an energy build-up in your sector." Kat explained, standing behind her computer. "The time portal is about to open up."
(The woods)
"Thanks, Kat." Jack said, closing up his morpher.
"Amazing." Katana said, as Jack put it away.
They both turned as the time portal opened up.
"Well, there's your way home if you want." Jack said, as Katana turned to him. "Or you can stay here and continue to defend Kyoto."
"No. Kyoto is safe in this time with you and your tribe." Katana said. "I need to go back where I belong."
Jack nodded as Katana saluted.
"Farewell." he said.
Jack saluted back with two fingers, smiling proudly.
Katana turned around and entered the time portal, which closed up behind him, as a flying ball of light came out of it. It flew around, unnoticed by Jack, who turned around and walked off, as the light followed him above him.
Later, with the Delta Base back in New Tech City, the B-Squad all stood by the door in the Command Room facing Cruger. (Val was on Z's left)
"A well fought victory, but in our victory we have suffered a loss." he explained. "By bringing the Delta Base to Japan, I left New Tech City defenceless. Grumm took advantage and raided the Iridium Plant."
"Iridium?" Bridge questioned. "Isn't that that metal they add to other metals to make them harder?"
"Yes." Cruger confirmed. "He's up to something. It is our job to find out what that is before it's too late. Dismissed."
The B-Squad all saluted before they turned around and walked out of the room, turning left down the hallway. As they did, the light slowly followed them, having entered the base before it returned from Japan.
"Hey, Val, you never told us how you know Japanese culture?" Z asked, as they all stopped.
"Yeah, how do you know?" Sky asked curiously.
"I used to have a pen-pal over in Japan before I enrolled in the Academy." Val explained. "I learned quite a lot from him."
"Oh, right." Sky said. "So you studied more when you weren't writing to him."
"Yes." Val answered. "That's how I knew Katana had honor when I saw him give Jack his blaster back."
"Well, you were right, he was very honorable." Jack remarked.
They all turned and walked off down the hallway.
A little later, Jack and Cruger were both back in the training field, Jack holding the Shadow Saber out.
"Finally, Shadow Saber is mine." he said, admiring it.
Seagulls chirped nearby as he turned it sideways.
"Oh, by the way, Jack; that's not the Shadow Saber." Cruger explained.
Jack looked confused, as Cruger brought out another Shadow Saber.
"This is the Shadow Saber." he explained.
Jack held his sword downwards, before it transformed into another training sword.
"Huh? Then what is this?" he asked, turning to Cruger.
"Just another sword I found in the closet." Cruger replied, grinning.
"You gave me just any sword and I battled the strongest swordsman in history?" Jack questioned, offended.
"And won." Cruger reminded him.
"But I could've lost." Jack argued.
"But you didn't." Cruger said, pointing at him. "It is truly the swordsman, and not the sword. Don't you agree?"
He morphed up.
"Commence lesson." he said.
Jack morphed up, then held up his training sword.
"Oh, I'm ready." he said.
They both charged at each other, slashing their swords together as they ran past each other, before they turned to each other.
"Hyah!" they yelled, slashing and locking their swords together, as their lesson had only just begun.
