A/N: For the memes, and because someone asked.

Running to the Edge WILL be updated next.

Still sick, still writing, but I'm trying.

Doctor wants to put me on a regimen of muscle relaxers now; I told him to sodd off. Not touching that stuff. I know full well what it does to people. Not me! No sirree!

With my fifteen year anniversary on this site finally here, I find myself reflecting on the little things in life. What was once a lazy pastime meant for me and a few friends really grew and evolved over time. There are days when I look back on the last fifteen years here and I wonder if anyone will remember me; if I made an impact, despite never making a single cent on any of these stories. Some days were happier than others, and some stories I enjoyed writing WAY too much; to the point where I'd stay up all night working on them.

And of course, there are times when I look to the future and wonder what will become of things when I'm gone.

Of course, I try not to dwell on the latter overmuch; I'm still alive and still writing. In an ideal world, I'd like to keep doing so for as long as I can. But old age is catching up to me and these days, the world is filled with so much madness and death. The recent earthquake in Turkey/Syria serves as a terrible example. Even before that, so many friends and fellow writers I once knew are gone, now. Will I still be here in twenty years? Ten? Five? Its a chilling thought. But for now, I'm still here, still writing.

This is a rough draft. Time and feedback will determine if tales like this, "A Long While" and "Defying Death" becomes a proper story.

In other words...its up to YOU, the reader. Do let me know~!

This is short for a good reason; I'll not waste energy on it if folks don't want to see more.

I can't afford to, not with my health as is.

"My dear child, why are you like this

~?

Let Them Rot

Naruto opened his eyes.

Why was everything so damn big?

And...red hair. Why did he have red hair...?

Long, red hair. Just like mom's. It confused him all the more.

He looked down. Blinked now. Blinked hard. "You gotta be kidding me...

He patted his face. Not. Not his face. "Really? The gods made me a girl? AND a redhead? You must be joking...

There were times when Miquella worried for his twin.

Malenia was so...wild. Energetic to be sure, but she didn't act at all the way an Empyrean should. Not like him. Not like Godwyn. Not even Ranni. From her earliest moments she had been this way-fiery and fierce, not at all a composed demigod. She railed against her Curse and fought it at every turn. She just...fought. And fought. She loved to fight and nothing else.

Today was no different. Today was war. And war, like his sister, never changed.

"Sister! Please stop!"

Malenia most assuredly did not. She was a red dervish of death, destroying everything in her way. Another enemy rushed her and she grabbed their face, swinging them about like a human flail. Her laughter filled the plains of Caelid. Two more rushed her and she beheaded them without so much as a backward glance, cutting their compatriot apart with them. Only then did she turn. Wild gold-red eyes looked back at him as she tilted her head to stare at him.

A bloody smile was his reward. "Isn't this fun, Miquella...?"

The youthful Empyrean sighed softly.

His sister was utterly insane.

A/N: Aaand scene. A more humor-driven story, but something new all the same.

Sooooooooo, do you want this to be a story? Yes? No? Maybe so? Make yourselves heard!

Really need to hear from you guys and gals here; if not this will simply remain a Shard like others.

Once more, we're sticking with the "Embers" rule for this particular tidbit, and others. If folks don't like this, it won't be continued. Meaning that if the story itself ain't popular? POOF! Gone. Completely. I'm working two jobs -might need a third soon!- so I barely have time to write; as such, I cannot afford to write something folks don't enjoy. So by all means, speak up! Your voice matters! Make yourself heard!

As ever, reviews are the fuel that sustain me. Without them I cannot write a single word. Simple as that. Working nearly all hours of the day keep me absurdly busy, as such, I can't bring myself to write something folks don't like.

Aaaand there we go. As ever, reviews keep me alive. Without them, I cannot write. So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...

...Review...Would You Kindly? And have some previews -potential blot bin things- that I'm working on.

References ahoy~! And ideas for new stories. Hopefully this will sate my muse for the time being.

...wait."

Radahn tensed.

She rose behind him, dragging herself upright.

But she did not bloom. She glared at him with red, ruby eyes.

"That hurt." he heard her rasp. "That actually hurt. You'll regret that...

She clicked her tongue. "I will not.

A fist crashed into her face. She didn't budge.

"Is that all?"

Will you marry me?"

Malenia barked a laugh. "Sorry, but you're not my type."

"How so?"

"You're a man for starters...
