There isn't much for me to say at the moment, so sit back and enjoy the chapter!
As the movie continues, the scene was showing Harry's house before going into Harry's room filled with newspapers clipped against the wall.
"To Pee or Not to Pee?" Eggsy read,
"That was the headline, the day after I defused a dirty bomb in Paris," Harry explained,
The students snickered at the headline while the adults, excluding Qrow, were impressed by Harry's feat.
Then a question comes in by the curious robot, "What's Paris?"
"Paris is the Capital of France," Crestin answered, "And it's also known for Famous Landmarks, and people also called Paris, The City of Love due to it being a Romantic and Cultural City,"
"Wow," Yang praised, and the audience seemed to have liked the concept of Paris,
"Germany: 1, England 5," Eggsy read,
"Miss that Game, I was breaking an undercover spy ring at the Pentagon," Harry said,
"Pentagon?" Winter said,
"Headquarters of the United States Department of Defense," Katana revealed, then showed the picture of said headquarters, "It also includes the three military services: Army, Navy, and Air Force,"
"Interesting," Ironwood commented,
"And the name literally fits the name," Penny added,
Eggsy then walks a few steps back and points at a newspaper with a picture of a couple kissing.
"My first mission," Harry answered, "Foiled the assassination of Margaret Thatcher,"
"Who's Margaret Thatcher?" Blake questioned,
"Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom," Crestin answered, "Longest-serving British Prime Minister and the first woman to hold that influence,"
"Well, that's a quite feat for a politician," Glynda commented,
"Not everyone would thank you for that one," Eggsy said,
"The point is, Eggsy, nobody thanked me for any of them," Harry said, "Front page news on all these occasions was celebrity nonsense. Because it's the nature of Kingsman that our achievements remain secret,"
"A gentleman's name should appear only three times. When he's born, when he marries, and when he dies. And we are, first and foremost, gentlemen," Harry said,
"If it weren't for these rules, Harry would have become a great hero the world has ever seen," Ruby said,
"But it's better to keep things a secret than to publicly show your deeds, Ms. Rose," Crestin said, "Attracting crowds of people with such achievements and titles can draw unwanted attention. From government officials to terrorist organizations. Therefore, it's better to keep things to yourself than to become a target for people,"
This leads to certain thoughts for some people.
Pyrrha, being one of the most talented students and athletes in Mistral, had earned quite the reputation that had prevented her from enjoying a normal life as people were either inspired by her or felt inferior around her. When she enrolled in Beacon and met her team, she felt a sense of normality for once and grew to enjoy it even before the day of her supposed death.
Weiss, due to the influence and achievements of the Schnee Dust Company, never had the chance to properly socialize with people outside of her family, causing the family to suffer an estranged relationship due to her father's ambitious desire for the company, and the constant harassment of the White Fang and competitors of the Company.
Blake, a Princess of Menagerie and supposed traitor of the White Fang, had brought harm to her family and friends whenever her past catches up to her and it caused a lot of pain and destruction to everyone around her.
The others had thoughts of their own, but they were immediately comforted by their closest friends or loved ones and reminded that they've found someone they can talk to.
As for Crim, he smiled but it soon faltered as he turns back to the screen. Though it didn't go unnoticed as Crestin, and Katana noticed the look on his face.
"What's up with him?" Katana questioned,
"He goes through a lot of things," Crestin said,
With some measure of curiosity, Katana used her powers to peer through Crim's memories without him noticing. A few moments later, she slightly widens her eyes and turns to Crestin.
"What the-" Katana muttered, but gets cut off when Crestin silently shushed her,
"Now isn't the time for reveals, Miss Blade," Crestin said quietly,
Katana was hesitant at first, but she groans to herself and reluctantly compliewithto his request.
Then, everyone continues with the movie.
"That's me fucked then," Eggsy discouragingly said, "It's like Charlie said. I'm just a pleb,"
"Nonsense. Being a gentleman has nothing to do with the circumstances of one's birth," Harry dejected, "Being a gentleman is something one learns,"
Ozpin smiled at Harry's words and the same can be said for everyone else in the room.
"Yeah, but how?" Eggsy asked,
"All right, first lesson. You should've asked me before you took a seat," Harry instructed and hung his head down, "Second lesson… How to make a proper martini,"
"Yes, Harry," Eggsy muttered and stands up from his chair,
"Ooh, I like the sound of that," Coco said,
The scene then changes with Valentine pressing his hand onto his desk, and hissing in pain, "Goddamn it! This fucking hurts!"
"You're the one who asked for a biometric security system," Gazelle reminded, "What's wrong with a simple switch?"
"A simple switch? This is an extremely dangerous machine," Valentine stated, "It should only be operated by someone as responsible and sane as me. Bad shit could happen if this falls into the wrong hands,"
Once the calibration was finished, Valentine immediately pulled his hand back and shook it several times.
"Is that really how hand scanners work?" Ruby questioned,
"That they do, Ruby," Penny replied, "Though it heats up the hand during calibration, it's quite bearable,"
"Ah, Okay," Ruby understood,
"We done here? Shit!" Valentine said while still gripping onto his hand,
"No. Now this one," Gazelle said, and opens a large case, "For the test at the church,"
"This one just has a short range. A simple switch will do," Valentine said,
The audience now feels quite suspicious of the case, and some have their own thoughts on the matter.
"I don't think I'd like to know what Valentine's planning to do with that church," Velvet said,
"I agree, something feels off about it," Ren added,
"Whatever it is, it isn't going to be pretty," Crim finished, and everyone agree with his words,
The scene soon shows Harry walking down the street with Eggsy by his side.
"So are you gonna teach me how to talk proper, like in My Fair Lady?" Eggsy inquired,
"Don't be absurd," Harry said, "Being a gentleman has nothing to do with one's accent. It's about being at ease in one's own skin. As Hemingway said, 'There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man. True nobility is being superior to your former self,"
"Huh? That sounds quite inspiring," Weiss said, and some smiled at the quote as well,
The two then entered the tailor shop.
"Now, the first thing every gentleman needs is a good suit. By which I mean, a bespoke suit. Never off-the-peg," Harry explained, "And Kingsman suits are always bulletproof,"
"Whoa, really? Where do I get one of these suits?" Coco questioned,
"I'd want one," Jaune followed,
"I bet you'd look great in a suit," Pyrrha said,
"Or maybe we find a dress in your size," Yang joked, "That'll work for you,"
"Hey!" Jaune shouted while a few of the students laughed at the memory of Jaune wearing a dress during their Highschool Dance,
Even Crim chuckled as he recalled the event in his Remnant.
Once the laughter died down, they all turned back to the screen.
"So, let's get you measured, and then, whether you get the job or not. You'll have a lasting and useful memento of your time at Kingsman," Harry said and goes to the fitting room door,
"I'm so sorry, sir, but a gentleman is completing his fitting," The receptionist apologized, "Fitting Room Two is available,"
"One does not use Fitting Room Two when one is popping one's cherry," Harry said while Eggsy chuckled,
Yang and Qrow snickered at the joke while the adults didn't take the joke lightly. Though they keep their expressions tamed to not show them to the others.
"What does that even mean?" Ruby questioned,
"Harry must be talking about eating cherries. But why would he eat cherries in a dressing room?" Penny inquired,
"Ah, The Innocence of Youth. Such a precious thing to see," Crestin commented,
"You're not thinking of shattering it, aren't you?" Katana questioned,
"What? I would never. But if the others decided to do it. I've got nothing to do with it," Crestin replied,
"You'll know about it one day, Ruby," Yang said while patting her head a couple of times.
Then they get on with the movie.
"Perhaps I'll show you Fitting Room Three while we wait," Harry said, and escorted Eggsy to the room,
Once they entered, they both look in the mirror.
"So, we going up or down?" Eggsy questioned
"Neither" Harry replied,
"Is this it?" Eggsy inquired,
"Of course not," Harry said, "Pull the hook on your left,"
Eggsy then pulls said hook and opens a hidden door. Once they've entered the room, Eggsy could only grin at the contents of the room, "Oh, yes. Very, very nice,"
Before his very eyes were weapons and gadgetry for every Kingsman's needs.
Upon seeing the room, the weapon enthusiast squealed in sheer delight and both Yang and Cinder did their best to keep their seat, "Oh my Oum!"
Crestin and Katana chuckle at Ruby's reaction since that side of her has never gotten old.
Qrow whistles at the sight of these weapons and gadgetry. Ironwood, Winter, and Penny readied themselves to write down the details of Kingsman's craftsmanship, and Velvet readies her camera.
The rest listened closely as Harry begins with the introduction.
"You're going to need a pair of shoes to go with your suit," Harry said, and goes to the shoe section, "An Oxford is any formal shoe with open lacing. This additional decorative piece is called broguing,"
"Oxfords not brogues," Eggsy recalled,
"Words to live by, Eggsy. Words to live by," Harry said, and grabs a pair, "Try a pair,"
Eggsy sat down on the bench and tries them on.
"Your weapon scores are excellent, by the way" Harry complimented and Eggsy clicked his tongue in acknowledgment while the former walked towards the umbrella section, "These you are familiar with,"
Then moves to the pistol section, "And this is our standard issue pistol. It's quite unique, as you'll see. It also fires a shotgun cartridge for use in messy close-range situations,"
"Fascinating," Ironwood said as he wrote down on his notepad,
Winter and Penny wrote this down as well while Velvet took the chance to capture the pistol design with her camera.
Ruby was still shaking in her seat, and Yang kept her from standing in her seat.
"How do they feel?" Harry questioned,
"Yeah, good," Eggsy said,
"Now do your very best impersonation of a German aristocrat's formal greeting," Harry instructed,
Eggsy then stands up and mimics the Hitler salute while one of his fingers is underneath his nose.
"No, Eggsy," Harry said, and Eggsy lowers his hands,
Harry straightens his body and tapped his feet together. Thus revealing a small blade that pops out of the right shoe.
"That is sick," Eggsy said before doing the same thing as well,
"A blade on the shoe? Oh man, Mercury is seriously missing this out," Emerald said,
"Now I want shoes like that," Neo said, "And I bet Dum-Dum would love these kinds of shoes as well,"
"Quite a deceptive piece of formal wear, wouldn't think?" Ozpin commented,
"Absolutely," Glynda agreed,
Meanwhile, Velvet took a picture of the shoe blade.
"In the old days, they had a phone in the heel as well," Harry noted,
"How do I get it back in?" Eggsy questioned,
"Well, it's coated in one of the fastest acting neurotoxins known to man…" Harry said, "So very carefully,"
Harry then presses the tip of the blade against the wall and pushes the blade back into the shoe while Eggsy does the same.
"Fast acting neurotoxin? That sounds deadly," Nora said,
"It is," Crestin said, "And compared to Tyrian's scorpion sting. This one could kill you in seconds,"
"I do not whether I should be impressed to terrify," Weiss said,
"You'll see it in action soon, Ms. Schnee," Crestin said,
Then Harry picks up a ballpen, "Now, I've had a lot of fun with this,"
"One of our finest examples of chemical engineering," Harry explained then pulls one part of the pen off, "A Poison, harmless when ingested… But at a time convenient to you…"
Harry flicks a small lever on the pen, "Can be remotely activated. Primed," Then pushes the lever down, "Lethal,"
"Poison that can be remotely activated?" Cinder said, "Now I'm starting to think that people making all this is smarter than Watts,"
"Probably smarter than anything our scientists could make," Penny added,
"I don't think I'd like to have that kind," Velvet said,
"What about these? What do these do?" Eggsy asked as he grabbed what looks like a small lighter, "Electrocute you?"
"Don't be ridiculous," Harry said, "It's a hand grenade,"
"Shut up," Eggsy said,
Nora was in the middle of drinking some water before spitting it all out at the sight of the lighter, "Wait, what?! That little lighter is a hand grenade?!"
"I thought it was a detonator when Harry used it to escape the University," Pyrrha said, "But a hand-grenade, That's unexpected,"
"I wonder how they managed to create that," Weiss said,
Ironwood, Winter, and Penny were a bit baffled by this fact. But they snapped out of it as they wrote it down on their notepads.
"If you want to electrocute someone, you'll need a signet ring," Harry said and gestured at the rings, "A gentleman traditionally wears the signet on his left hand. But a Kingsman wears it on whichever hand happens to be dominant,"
"Touch the contact behind the ring… It'll deliver 50,000 volts," Harry said as he demonstrates the function to Eggsy,
"That many? I want a ring like that," Nora said, then gets an idea in her head, "I know! How about Ren and I get matching rings?"
"Nora," Ren groaned with some hint of embarrassment,
"But Ren. It'll be nice," Nora said, "Plus if I ever need to charge. You could just shock me with it,"
"That's… one way of using it properly," Crim said as he recalled Nora's Semblance,
"What about them? What makes them so special?" Eggsy questioned as pointed at electronic devices while trying to steal a lighter,
"Nothing, that technology has caught up with the spy world," Harry said, and he marches his way out of the room, "Put it back, Eggsy,"
Eggsy complies and puts the lighter back into his place before following Harry.
"You're going to have to try harder than that, Eggsy," Emerald said,
"I'd give him an A for effort," Neo said, "Not,"
"Ah, Perfect timing. The gentleman's just finished," The receptionist said,
When the door opens, It soon reveals Valentine wearing a suit and grins as he sees Harry, "Mr. DeVere!"
The mood soon got tense, and some even held their breaths at the sudden appearance of Valentine in the tailor shop.
"What a coincidence. You are totally the reason I'm here," Valentine said, "When you left my house… I was thirsting for that dope-ass smoking jacket you had on. And since I'm going to Royal Ascot and, apparently, you need one of these penguin suits… Here I am,"
"I somehow doubt he's only there for a suit," Blake said, and her team agreed with her,
"What are you doing here?" Valentine questioned, but stretches his hand towards Eggsy, "What's up, man? Richmond Valentine,"
"This is my new valet. I was just introducing him to my tailor," Harry said,
"Another coincidence. So am I," Valentine said, and Gazelle steps forward,
"Have you had any chance to think further on my proposal?" Harry questioned,
"Most definitely. My people will be getting in touch with you very soon," Valentine said, " I guarantee it,"
"A word of advice. Ascot requires a top hat," Harry advised, "I might suggest Lock and Co. Hatters. Saint James's"
"'Lox' as in smoked fish?" Valentineassumed,
"As in, 'Locked Up'," Harry corrected in a joking manner,
"Oh, I have trouble understanding you people sometimes," Valentine said, "You all talk so funny,"
Valentine and Gazelle soon leave the tailor shop.
"Gentlemen, can you look after him?" Harry requested, and leaves the tailor shop,
The scene changes as Eggsy enters the Fitting Room to the Lock and Co. Hatters Shop, and Valentine is seen exiting the shop with a top hat on hand.
"Now this. Is a Dope-ass Top Hat," Valentine said as he spun the top hat and places it on his head, "Gazelle! Let's go ascoting,"
As the camera zooms in towards the top hat, the scene changes to a taxi with Harry eavesdropping on Valentine's conversation.
"Your hat looks fine, Gazelle. Come on! Don't make me late for the queen," Valentine said, "Come on, Gazelle! We're gonna be late. How far is Ascot? How far?"
The Mansion is then shown and Eggsy enters a room with Arthur sitting by the fireplace.
"Merlin said you wanted to see me?" Eggsy inquired,
"Sit down," Arthur said,
Eggsy then sat down on the opposite side of the fireplace while his dog follows suit and bark a couple of times.
"Pretty dog," Arthur plainly complimented, "What's his name?"
"J.B." Eggsy answered,
"As in James Bond?" Arthur guessed,
"No," Eggsy replied,
"Jason Bourne?" Arthur guessed,
"No," Eggsy replied, "Jack Bauer?"
"Oh, Bravo," Arthur praised in recognition,
The audience then turns to Crestin and Katana for answers.
"Jason Bourne isn't like James Bond. Rather he's a Former Agent with a case of amnesia and a grim past," Katana explained, "He also relies on pens and books to fight, and drives old and battered cars,"
"As for Jack Bauer, He's a retired American Serviceman and Former Federal Agent," Crestin followed, "He has been responsible for saving numerous citizens from potentially devastating terrorist attacks. That much I know since I've never watched the series before,"
"So did I," Katana followed,
"Pens and Books? I don't really see this Jason guy as a big deal and all," Yang commented,
"Don't underestimate a man's creativity, Miss Xiao Long," Crestin remarked, "If, in fact, I happened to know this one guy who can kill three guys with a pencil. No Aura, No Superpowers. Just a regular pencil,"
Everyone gulp at such a guy, in fact, they feel awfully relieved that this guy doesn't reside in Remnant.
Crestin chuckled and so did Katana before moving on with the movie.
"It pains me to admit… But I think that one day, you might be as good a spy as any of them," Arthur said, then pulls out a gun, and points it at Eggsy.
But Arthur merely handed the gun to Eggsy, "Take it,"
Eggsytakes the gun and Arthur drinks once before giving one simple order to Eggsy, "Shoot the dog,"
Eggsy stares at Arthur, then turns to his dog,
Everyone in the room went completely silent by this order. Then, everyone addressed their reaction throughout the entire theatre.
"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled simultaneously,
"Shoot the dog?! What kind of test is this?!" Yang angrily yelled to the point that her eyes glowed red,
Ruby got tensed by this that she dearly held onto Zwei as she wouldn't want to go through such a test.
"Endangering people in these tests is hard enough," Weiss said, "But killing a dog that they've trained with for so long? That's just too far,"
Meanwhile, Roxy and Merlin are in another room.
"This weapon is live," Merlin said as he handed Roxy a gun, "Shoot the dog,"
Roxy shows the same expression as Eggsy.
As the scene turns back to Eggsy, he points the gun toward his dog. But his hand trembles as he stared into his dog's eyes.
The intense moment, along with Arthur's unflinching expression, eerie music, and the dog's expression makes it one of the tensest moments for the audience to see.
Several moments later, Eggsy shook his head and hesitated from pulling the trigger.
"Give me the gun," Arthur ordered,
However, Eggsy then turn the gun towards Arthur and looked furious while the latter seemed rather unfazed by this.
But before Eggsy could pull the trigger, a gunshot was heard from the other room and Arthur momentarily glances in the direction of the gunshot and then back at Eggsy, "At least the girl's got balls,"
"Roxy!" Ruby yelled while clutching Zwei, "Why?!"
"That poor poodle," Pyrrha pitied,
"I can't believe this!" Ironwood yelled, "First, they endanger their candidates. Now they've ordered them to kill their loyal companions? That is crossing the line,"
The rest loudly voiced their thoughts out loud while Crestin and Katana remained calm as they were aware that this was going to happen.
However, they weren't the only ones who remained calm about the matter.
"Do you have an explanation for this?" Ozpin questioned,
"We do," Katana said,
"And aren't you going to tell us something?" Glynda followed,
"No," Crestin replied,
"Why?" Ozpin asked,
"Because you'll understand why if you keep watching," Crestin said,
"Get out. I knew you couldn't make it," Arthur said,
Eggsy stands up from the chair and marches his way towards the door. Then turns to Arthur one last time
"Go Home," Arthur said, and Eggsy exits the room, "Merlin, Send in Roxy please,"
Outside the Mansion, Eggsy, holding his dog onto one arm, pants for a moment then eyes on Arthur's car. Without a second thought, he puts J.B. into the passenger seat and steals the car.
"I know he's mad and all. But why steal his car?" Blake said,
"Probably to let off some steam," Emerald assumed,
"I wouldn't mind robbing people blind if it calms me down," Neo said,
Back in the Mansion, Roxy enters the room and approaches Arthur, who stretches his hand to her, "Welcome to Kingsman, Lancelot,"
The scene then changes to the apartment block. The clothes Eggsy wore at the mansion littered the floor alongside the watch and he stood by the mirror wearing his casual wear.
Eggsy then turns to J.B. lying by his bed and he soon hears the front door opening, "Mom?"
As soon as Eggsy leaves his room, Michele and Eggsy's younger half-sister was there.
"Eggsy! Oh, God. Where have you been? I've been so worried about you," Michelle said, and kisses Eggsy's cheek,
Eggsy then turns to his younger half-sister and kneels, "Oh, my days. Look how big you've grown!"
Eggsy stands up straight and turns to Michelle. But his smile falters as he noticed something off and moved a lock of Michelle's hair to reveal a black eye.
"You have got to be kidding me," Crim remarked,
"Dean punched her," Weiss said,
"That bastard," Yang sneered,
"Harry should have locked him up," Pyrrha said,
"Or maybe he should break his legs!" Nora suggested,
"Where is he?" Eggsy questioned,
"I'm fine. Eggsy, please, just don't get involved," Michelle pleaded,
"I should never have left you on your own," Eggsy said, "This stops right now. I'll be right back,"
"Eggsy," Michelle called out, but falls to deaf ears as Eggsy leaves the apartment,
Then, the scene shows Dean and his goons hanging outside the pub and Eggsy arriving with the car he stole.
"Oi, Dean!" Eggsy angrily called out,
"Mugsy, so you're back," Dean said, "What, you gone and nicked a fucking taxi, now?"
"Yeah," Eggsy replied, "Can I have a word about my mum's black eye?"
Dean removes his shades and places them onto the table, "You want to have a word with me, you get out of that cab... I'll knock you straight back down on your fucking arse,"
"Tell your Muppets to go inside, then I'll get out," Eggsy demanded,
"Go on, lads. It'll be two hits," Dean said, "Me hitting him, him hitting the floor,"
"I think it's the other way around," Jaune said,
"Indeed," Ren followed,
Once Dean's goons were inside the pub, he stands up and raises his fists, "Come on, then, you prick. Let's see what you got. Want a bit of me?"
Before Eggsy could step out, the car window suddenly raises on its own, and the doors locked. Preventing Eggsy from exiting the car.
"No, No, No!" Eggsy yelled,
"What are you doing? Get out of the fucking car!" Dean demanded, and the car suddenly drives off on its own, "What are you doing? Where you going, you mug?"
"Go on, you got no bollocks!" Dean yelled,
Inside the car, Eggsy attempted to break the door handle with his elbow while shouting, "Come on, bruv, he hit my fucking mum!"
"Come back when you've grown a pair!" Dean mocked, "Mugsy,"
With that, Eggsy could only cross his arms together as the car kept going. It eventually revealed that Harry was behind it as he stood on the balcony holding a tablet in hand and remotely controlled the car.
"Whoa, Harry controlled that car by remote," Penny said,
"That's one way to deal with car theft," Weiss commented,
"I wonder if I could add something like that for Bumblebee," Yang wondered,
"Still, I would have preferred to see Dean kiss the ground," Crim said with disdain,
And this is something that the audience had gained an interest in knowing.
As soon as Eggsy enters the door, Harry was seen going down the stairs, "You throw away your biggest opportunity over a fucking dog. And then you humiliate me by stealing my boss's car,"
"You shot a dog just to get a fucking job," Eggsy questioned,
"Yes, I did," Harry replied, then opens his trophy room with a stuffed dog on display, "Mr. Pickles here remind me of that every time I take a shit!"
"Harry! How could you!?" Ruby cried out with a river of tears in her eyes and Zwei on her hands,
"He shot his dog, then had it stuffed?! What is wrong with these people!" Velvet said,
"And just as I was starting to respect these people," Ironwood angrily stated, "Now I'm fully disappointment in them,"
"For once, I agree with your James," Glynda sternly said,
"Ugh, I think I'm going to hurl just by looking at the poor thing," Jaune said, as he covered his mouth and Pyrrha was rubbing his back a few times in comfort
Before things escalate further, Crestin stood up from his seat and clapped his hands a couple of times to get their attention.
"Alright, Alright. You all have a turn to yell at Harry's actions. But reassured, that isn't the case here," Crestin stated,
"Oh? And how so?" Coco questioned,
"If you all keep watching, you'll all soon find out," Crestin said,
With that, everyone piped down and turned back to the screen. Though some were still angry at Harry's actions.
"You shot your dog and had it stuffed?" Eggsy said, "You fucking freak,"
"No, I shot my dog and then I brought him home and continued to care for him for the next 11 years until he died of pancreatitis," Harry revealed,
"What?" Eggsy confusingly said, and it was shared with the audience as well,
"It was a blank, Eggsy," Harry said, "It was a fucking blank,"
"A blank?" Yang said, "Then that means,"
"J.B. wasn't going to die that time," Pyrrha finished,
"But what was the point of all of that," Penny questioned,
"Loyalty…" Crestin said, and everyone turns to him, "As you all recall from the train test. This one is a bit different as a Kingsman Agent must remain loyal to the end, they must also follow orders even if it means hurting people they cherish in their lives along the way,"
"You mean to say that they must follow orders," Winter questioned, "Without distractions or emotions getting in the way?"
"That's pretty much it," Crestin concluded,
Everyone felt uncertain about the Kingsman method, but that was another time as they kept watching.
"Remember Amelia?" Harry questioned,
"Yeah?" Eggsy replied,
"She didn't drown," Harry revealed, "She works in our tech department in Berlin. She's fine,"
Everyone was surprised by this fact, but they still watched rather than ask questions about it.
"Limits must be tested. A Kingsman only condones the risking of a life to save another," Harry said
"Like my day saved your life even though your fuck-up cost his," Eggsy pointed out, "Or have you him stuffed here and all?"
"Can't you see that everything I've done has been about trying to repay him?" Harry said with a solemn tone his voice,
"Who would have thought," Crim muttered, and those nearby heard him,
The mood soon changed when Harry's glasses received a call and he puts them on. Thus hearing Merlin's voice, "Harry, listen to this. Valentine is, at last, saying something of note,"
"Do you know what I love about pen and paper?" Valentine questioned as a scene revealed him and Gazelle in a plane, "Nobody can hack into this shit. Our worldwide tour was a complete success. We have total coverall,"
"Like when all your numbers in bingo are crossed out," Valentine said as he checked his notebook,
"Bingo?" Gazelle inquired,
"Bingo, the game," Valentine said, "You have played bingo, right?"
"Do I look like I play bingo?" Gazelle sarcastically questioned,
"Point is…" Valentine moves up from his seat, "If our tests go well at the church tomorrow, we are good to go,"
"South Glade Mission Church," Harry muttered, "Merlin, Get the plane ready,"
"Will do," Merlin responded,
"Harry, I'm so sorry. I'm gonna do whatever…" Eggsy tries to make an apology, but Harry interjects, "You should be. You just stay right there. I'll sort this mess out when I get back,"
"This is getting a bit deeper in the dark, don't you think?" Emerald said,
"And I'm started to feel something's off about it," Cinder said,
"Speaking from experience, I can tell that one too," Neo finished,
"Alright, everyone. Before we continue with this movie, is there anything you all like to ask our guest again?" Crestin questioned,
"I've got one," Yang said, then turns to Crim, "What's up with you? I know we all hate Dean abusing Eggsy and his Mom. But you seemed more hostile towards it,"
"Yeah, and it's almost similar to Cinder's," Ruby followed,
Crim looked into the eyes of everyone present and sighs to himself before slouching against his seat. Moments later, he pulls out his scroll and passes it to Cinder's hand, "Open this, and check my photo album,"
Cinder takes Crim's scroll and opens it. As everyone gathered around her, Cinder browsed through the photo album, and she soon found a photo that surprised her and the people around her.
Four people were smiling at the camera. The two people standing were Crim's Parents, Crim sitting on a chair with his father's left hand on Crim's right shoulder, and sitting next to her was Cinder with Crim's mother holding both her shoulders.
"What do you think? My day did what he could to find a good photographer in Mantle," Crim questioned,
"You and Cinder?" Ruby inquired,
"Pretty much," Crim said, "But it's more of a family matter you see,"
"How did this happen?" Cinder asked,
"Well, my dad told me the story a bunch of times," Crim explained, "He saw you wearing that collar you wore when you were just a kid, and figured out that you were forced to do labor work by your stepfamily,"
"What did he do?" Cinder asked further,
"Well, he needed preparation. First, he gathered a lot of things that could back your stepmother into a corner. Second, he had to handle the proper paperwork to get you adopted. And lastly, was the confrontation and he eventually brought you to a better home than that wretched place," Crim explained, "In other words, we became family,"
Cinder was in disbelief that someone from another Remnant could go so far as to save her from her stepfamily's clutches. She looked rather happy to hear this, but another question came into mind.
"That doesn't explain why you're so hostile towards abusive parents though," Cinder said,
"I'm against such things," Crim said, "Not only did you tell me your story, but my dad also told me that I was found by their door when I was just a baby,"
This shocked everyone and some pitied what he had gone through. The one closest to such a scenario was Yang as she recalled Raven leaving her in Taiyang's care. Though she did have a happy family with Summer and Ruby by her side, the very thought of it is still fresh in her mind.
But what she's curious about one thing though, "So… How did you handle it?"
"I'm afraid that's something that he will not be sharing, Ms. Xiao Long," Crestin said, and she turns to him, "At least, not yet…"
"Why?" Yang asked,
"Because now isn't the time, though I will let him reveal the answer once the time is right," Crestin said, "However…"
Crestin turns to Katana and gives her a single nod. The latter acknowledges this and created several barf bags for everyone. A lot of it for those with weak stomachs.
"Barf bags?" Weiss commented as she held onto her bag in confusion,
"And just in case," Crestin remarked, and emits a medium-sized dome over the audience, "This dome will do the trick…"
"What is this all for?" Neo questioned,
"For what comes next," Crestin revealed and sat next to Katana,
The others soon felt uncertain by this comment even after they had sat down from their chairs. But with their barf bags on hand and a dome amplifying field around them, they at least tried to prepare themselves for what was to come…
That is it for this chapter everyone! What comes next is the Church scene. However, I will tell you all that I will be censoring some words since I don't want any negative attention coming to the Review Section.
