Going to get treatment after his father knocked his tooth out is one of the more humiliating experiences of Roman's life. He knows his dentist can be relied upon to stay quiet, it's not worth his life or career not to, but he still can't let the guy who sees him regularly know the truth.

"So what happened?" the doctor asks, shining a torch into his mouth.

"Bar fight," he replies easily. "This guy didn't like how his girlfriend was throwing herself at me. I can't help it if I'm a pussy magnet…" He launches into a whole tale.

He remembers going to the hospital with a broken arm as a kid. It had been a week since the incident, and he had blamed Kendall, saying he had done it wrestling with his brother. His nanny, who had brought him to the emergency room against express orders, pursed her lips. She was fired a few days later and probably never worked again.

"You already have a couple of implants," says his doctor, like he doesn't already know. "We can give you a new one today. It'll look good as new."

"Perfect," he says.

"And try not to get into any more bar fights." Something in his tone of voice makes Roman think he knows, but he dismisses this paranoia.

Next time he sees his father, he'll have a brand new tooth and his father will smile at him and call him Romulus and all will be forgotten. He'll forget Kendall and Shiv's pitying looks and Kendall yelling at their father. This will just be something else that never happened.
