As Logan approaches Roman in the airfield, he jokingly mimes punching his son. Roman leans back, playing along, then hugs his father. Even though it's all for the cameras, he can't help feeling a sense of warmth.
Sometimes his father looks at Roman like he's nothing. It makes his fingertips hurt. Other times he'll smile at Roman or say something genuinely hilarious, a joke at someone else's expense, and Roman will remember why he loves him.
Shiv is in her car, she declined to participate in this charade. Roman, the good son, always does what he's told.
The paps are still snapping away as Roman walks away from his father. He refrains from giving them the finger.
