Link was in Korok Forest where he had pulled out the Master Sword a few weeks ago.
He had come to talk to the Great Deku Tree about the Trials of the Sword, which had been mentioned by Shekiah Monk Max Koshia.
Link stepped up to the pedestal of the Master Sword and placed the sword in the pedestal.
He felt the familiar sensation of Shekiah teleportation, but it was interrupted by something else. He was teleported back to the same spot as before, and the sword was back in its sheath on his back. He turned to the Deku Tree in confusion, but before he could say something, he felt himself being pulled backwards. He turned around to see a portal that had just opened behind him. He tried to pull away by standing his ground with the Master Sword, but it was no use, and it sucked him in. He found himself in a black void filled with stars and he was falling somewhere. He instinctively tried to use his paraglider, but it was gone. He looked down at himself to realize that all his stuff was gone, even the Sheikah Slate. The only equipment that remained was the Master Sword in its sheath and the Hylian Shield.
Finally, he exited the void and found himself falling from the sky. He flipped himself over to see where he was falling. He saw a stone structure in the shape of a hexagon that appeared to be castle-like. Then, he noticed a large circle of figures , and he was headed for one of them standing in the center. He turned his body so he wouldn't hit them, and braced himself for impact. To his surprise the impact didn't hurt, and he was able to quickly stand up, although he was in a cloud of smoke that hadn't been there before. The smoke quickly cleared and he found himself starting face to face with the girl that he had avoided. He kept his usual fixed expression in the case that this girl was dangerous, but as he took in her features he was startled. She was the spitting image of Princess Zelda from the fragments of memories he had been able to recollect. Except she wasn't wearing her usual travel outfit, prayer dress, or her formal dress. Instead, she was wearing a black cloak, tall black stockings, a white blouse, black shoes, a short black skirt, and the cloak was fastened with a brass pin with a star on it. He then realized that the circle of people was made up of people in the same or similar outfits around the same age and they were all staring at him. He decided to ask her if she was Zelda and where he was, but as he spoke she looked confused as if she didn't understand him. Then, she began speaking to a nearby older man in indigo robes. Except, it was a language he didn't recognize. It wasn't Hylian or Gerudo. The next thing he knew, she was holding her hand up to him and spoke something, and then she kissed him on the lips. He was so in shock that he didn't notice her spit on the ground. He tried to hide his blushing when his left hand started to burn. He grabbed it and fell to his knees as he clenched his teeth in pain. He was beginning to see the outline of something being etched on his hand when he passed out.
