Previously: After an in-depth discussion, Armin has agreed to participate in a threesome with Captain Levi and Commander Erwin. They arrange to meet this Friday night, but will Armin's nerves get in the way of enjoying this opportunity?

A/N: The first part of this chapter focuses on Armin's personal life (his new job, friendships etc…) I appreciate readers might be more excited for the threesome side of things, but I'm trying to flesh out Armin's character and drive him towards some growth by the end of the story. His personal life will play a role in shaping his relations with Levi and Erwin, and vice versa :)

That said, the threesome is still the main focus! The second half of this chapter covers the start of their first encounter…

Chapter 8: The First Night

Armin

After his long talk with Levi and Erwin, Armin was back late to the dormitory room he shared with Eren. His best friend was still awake when he came in.

"Is everything alright? Was the meeting about the library job?" Eren peered over the side of his bunk.

"Yeah," Armin let out a shaky laugh, thinking about all the other things that had been discussed at the 'meeting'. His stomach bubbled with excitement – as exhilarating as the prospect of the threesome was, landing the job of his dreams was even better. The two things combined felt too good to be true.

"Well? Did you get it or what?!" Eren asked.

"Keep your voice down! Jean will kill you if you wake him up." Armin grinned, unable to contain his own happiness. "Yes, I got it!"

"Holy fucking Wall Maria, Rose and Sina, I knew it!"

In a manoeuvre that would impress even an Ackerman, Eren swung over the rails of his bunk and leapt to the floor. He barely regained his balance before launching himself at Armin, throwing his arms around his best friend.

"Eren!" Armin gasped, startled by his friend's antics.

"- I mean, of course you'd get it, Mikasa and I had no doubt about it. You're amazing, you deserve it more than anyone. Now you can do work you're actually interested in and won't have to worry about-"

"EREN CALM DOWN!" Armin yelled. Eren looked quite overcome with emotion and his babbling was taking on a hysterical tone.

"- I love you so much Armin and just want you to be happy-"

Between his laughter at Eren's exuberance, and the man's tight grip around him, Armin could hardly breath. Tears flowed down his cheeks.

The door burst open.

"What the hell is going on in here?" Jean demanded, before pausing at the sight before him. Connie and Marco followed, peeking through the doorway. They all gawped at Eren and Armin in each other's arms.

"…Um Jean, I think we should leave them alone…" Marco coughed.

"I can't wait to tell Sasha about this!" Connie grinned manically. "I knew you two weren't just friends!"

"Shut up, we hug all the time," Eren protested, loosening his grip on Armin.

"What's with all the shouting?" Jean crossed his arms. "Some of us are trying to sleep."

"I got the library job," Armin smiled apologetically at his friends. "Sorry for making so much noise, we both just got a little-"

"YOU GOT THE JOB?" Jean rushed at Armin, and before he knew it, he was enveloped by his lanky frame. Connie and Marco soon did the same, and he was caught in the middle of a choking four-way hug. (Which turned into a five-way hug when Eren joined back in.)

"Well done Armin!" Jean finally pulled back, giving his hair an affectionate ruffle. "Although myself and Marco will miss having you around to keep Eren under control."

"I don't think anyone can keep Eren under control," Armin said.

Eren elbowed him in the ribs. "Hey, keep talking like that and I won't let you back here to visit!"

"Wait, Armin, are you moving out of the dorms?" Connie frowned.

"Yes, I get my own room in the Officer's Building," Armin said. "And I'll only be keeping up a few basic training sessions. I'll be spending most of my time working in the library instead."

His happiness deflated as the repercussions of this fully hit him. I'll be seeing far less of my friends from now on. This might be my dream job, but will it be worth the loneliness that might come with it?

"Don't worry Armin." Jean gave him a reassuring smile. "If things get boring in your own room, you can always come back here for sleepovers. But I'm sure you'll enjoy a break from Eren's yelling."

"What yelling?" Eren roared.

Everyone burst into uncontrollable laughter.

Since nobody was in a fit state to sleep, they stayed up talking for another hour. Connie retrieved his stash of sweets from his room and shared them with everyone. Jean went on a long rant on about how he always knew Armin was destined for greater things. Eren innocently asked was that why Armin had dumped Jean. This resulted in a quick scuffle, ended by an exasperated Marco and Armin.

Finally Marco declared they all needed their sleep, and dragged Jean and Connie back to their shared dormitory room.

"It's true, you can do way better than Jean," Eren muttered sleepily, shifting in his bed to get comfortable. "I know you'll find someone else eventually!"

Armin smirked as he closed his eyes. If only you knew

Armin got up early the next morning, his stomach twisting uncomfortably. His excitement had simmered down into anxiety, as it so often did. Instead of sleeping, his mind had raced with worries about the impending threesome, as well as his new library position.

As a result, he had a bizarre dream where he'd been late for his first day of the job. When he got to the library, Levi and Erwin had been waiting impatiently for him. They informed him if he couldn't be punctual, they'd end the arrangement, and have a threesome with Eren instead. Armin had awoken in a panic. Why did his brain have to stress him out like this?

At breakfast, he told Mikasa he'd gotten the job. She immediately flung her arms around him.

"I'm so happy for you Armin!" She pulled back, peering into his eyes. "Is that why you look so nervous? Listen, you'll be fine. And you can tell us all about it later at lunch."

Armin's heart lifted at Mikasa's assurances. Her practical outlook was always a nice counterbalance to his tendency to overthink everything.

When the time came, he left his friends in the mess hall and made his way to the library. The Head Librarian - Emilia - greeted him warmly when he arrived. Armin already knew her from all his visits here. She was a very friendly middle-aged woman, who had been managing the Survey Corps' archives for the past fifteen years.

She was also very talkative. For almost twenty minutes, she rambled on about everything from how thrilled she was that Armin applied for the job, to how the other applicants had lacked any relevant experience, to how to grateful she was to Erwin for being the first Commander to allow her an assistant, to how glad she was the Survey Corps finally had money to spend on the worthy pursuit of knowledge.

Armin smiled and nodded politely. Finally she paused, remembering why he was there.

"My dear, listen to me ranting on! I better get down to actually training you…"

Emilia explained how it would take a few weeks to fully train Armin into the library procedures. He was already familiar with the public part of the library, and had a working understanding of the complex cataloguing system. After all, he'd occasionally helped Emilia out in the past.

But average soldiers weren't allowed in the back section, where the oldest and most important archives were stored. This included fifty years' worth of war and battle reports, technological records, and a collection of books that only officers were allowed to read, on reserved topics such as military strategy.

"… And every week we're getting new material shipped in from other nations. Can you imagine? Only five years ago, we didn't even know there were any other countries out there. Now they're sending us books faster than we can put them on the shelves!"

Armin thought she was exaggerating. Until she showed him a messy side room stacked with dozens of overflowing boxes, each packed with an assortment of documents and books.

"I haven't had time to deal with them yet," Emilia admitted in a hushed tone. Then she brightened and added, "But now I have you to help me!"

Armin dearly wanted to root through the boxes, and see exactly what sort of fascinating material the foreign nations had sent them. But Emilia dragged him back to the front desk.

"Let's start with the basics, shall we? I'll show you how we keep track of borrowed books…"

By the afternoon, Armin's head was spinning. A lot of what Emilia taught him this morning was straightforward, but there was a lot to remember. And his mind kept wandering back to that treasure trove of books from the outside world. How come he'd never heard about it before? Maybe Erwin could give him more information the next time he saw him…

At lunchtime, he was assaulted with questions by his friends and barely had time to actually put food in his mouth, until Mikasa ordered everyone to shut up and let him eat.

His afternoon was filled with Emilia instructing him on more library protocol. Soon he had a pounding headache, and was regretting staying up so late last night.

Who would have thought being trained as a library assistant would be as exhausting as a day of training drills?

Before dinner, he was shown to his new quarters in the Officers' Building. The prospect of his own private space, after years of bunking with other boys, was an incredible luxury. But his elation was tinged with regret - he would miss his late night talks with Eren in their dormitory at night. And how Jean, Marco and Connie would wander in for a chat at all hours.

His friends were like his family. Mikasa too – she might not have been his roommate, but she was the person he went to when he needed serious advice. Her serene presence was often a welcome respite from the rowdy boys.

Another perk of his new position was that Armin didn't have to participate in full training drills any more. He still needed to maintain his fitness level by attending basic sessions, but his routine wouldn't be as rigorous. But this also meant less time spent with his friends…

He tried to shift his uneasy mind into a Mikasa-like pragmatism. She'd probably tell him to stop worrying, and take decisive action.

I just need to make an extra effort to spend time with them outside of work. A bit less time together doesn't mean I'll lose their friendship.

And so despite his exhaustion, he hung out with his friends in the Recreation Building for a while after dinner. Eren and Mikasa took turns telling him about an incident during their training session earlier. Somehow Sasha and Connie had gotten tangled up in each other's ODM gear. Everyone had erupted in laughter, even their instructor. Marco had been the only person kind enough to help his friends out.

"It was weird not having you there today," Eren sighed.

"I'm still going to be doing some drills with you. You can't get rid of me that easily!" Armin grinned.

Of course, it wasn't long before Eren and Jean started arguing again - Jean thought it was unfair Eren now had his own room now that Armin had left, and that Connie should move in with Eren and leave him and Marco in peace. His head thrumming with the raised voices, Armin said he needed an early night, and left for his quarters.

Finally alone and lying in his new bed, his mind raced with everything he'd learned at the library today. He forcefully pushed these thoughts aside. He'd never sleep if his head was full of his work. Instead, he let his mind wander back to his discussion with Levi and Erwin last night…

His heart skipped. After all the excitement and nerves over his new job, Armin barely had time to think about what he was doing this Friday – only two nights from now.

A startling fact struck him. It was only last Friday that I dropped in my job application, and walked in on them in the office!

How had so much changed in less than a week?

Last night, he'd been eager to get started on the arrangement as soon as possible. But Erwin was right; it was best to wait another few days. Armin appreciated how openly and maturely they were handling the whole matter – by discussing everything in detail, and making sure he communicated clearly with them.

In theory, perhaps all this talking should be boring and unsexy. But knowing his welfare was one of their top priorities sent a thrill through him.

Sleeping with these men is even more appealing now I know they want me to enjoy it too. I really feel like I can trust them.

Heart fluttering wildly, he recalled snippets of last night. He'd almost been overwhelmed when they'd both placed their hands over his. Their interest in him, and evident enthusiasm for this whole arrangement, was an intoxicating medley that spurred his own desires.

Armin also harboured an intense fascination in the men's relationship. There was a touch of envy to his interest, but he didn't see this as an issue once he was aware of it. It was probably natural - he didn't know anyone else in a steady, long-term relationship, much less two men. While he longed for more intimate details of their romance, he understood they might want to keep some aspects of their lives private from him.

Still, they'd let him in deeper than he'd expected. There was something very special about being allowed to witness them completely at ease in front of him. Just thinking of their easy banter and casual affection made him blush.

And the thought of watching them having sex again made his body burn with an entirely different flame.

Armin was aware of the limitations of this arrangement. He was like some sort of privileged voyeur – allowed to watch and participate with them, but only on specific terms. They'd made that very clear.

But he couldn't bring himself to pass up this opportunity. He'd already resigned himself to the fact that he might never find love, or at least anyone who would love him back. Getting an invitation to sleep with two men he admired was something of a miracle. How many shameful daydreams had he had about the strong, charismatic Commander?

And Levi… well, he'd been too intimidated by his Captain the last few years to fantasise about any sexual encounters about him. But now he'd seen a gentler side to Humanity's Strongest Soldier, Armin was keen to see more of it.

I might still decide to back out of this whole thing, Armin reminded himself. I'll take them up on their offer of watching them having sex, but who knows how I'll feel after that? The reality of the situation might just be too awkward.

Armin settled under his blankets, appreciating how much more comfortable this bed was than his old one. He dearly hoped he'd be brave enough to do more than just watch Levi and Erwin during their encounter this Friday night. And that they wouldn't be disappointed with him, and call the whole thing off…

Stop it! All this worrying won't do you any good!

He forcefully conjured up one of his previous erotic fantasies – but instead of Erwin's office, he imagined the three of them in a bedroom instead. Levi and Erwin were every bit as enthusiastic, however.

Armin smiled into his pillow. At least in his dreams he didn't have to worry about being too shy or inexperienced…

After two more agonisingly long days, Friday finally arrived.

Armin spent a few hours after dinner in the gardens with his friends. One downside to working in the library was that he was indoors a lot more, so he appreciated being able to get some fresh air. They sat out on blankets and talked about their plans for the weekend, including going to the markets in town tomorrow.

It felt surreal to Armin that in only a few hours he'd be visiting Levi and Erwin. But he tried to keep his mind occupied on enjoying his time with his friends, instead of daydreaming about tonight.

At nine, he went back to his room to wash and change. He had his own private shower now, another luxury of his own quarters. Then he fretted over what to wear. What did someone wear for a threesome encounter? He eventually decided to dress formally.

He crept out of his quarters just before ten o'clock. Erwin had instructed him to meet them at his own private quarters, on the top floor of the Officers' Building. Armin climbed the stairs, his heart thumping as each step took him closer to potentially living out his wildest fantasies.

Or perhaps destroying them forever, his traitorous mind added.

He knocked on the door and heard footsteps approach. Erwin opened it, his cautious expression melting into a cheerful smile. He was dressed in his usual black slacks and white shirt. Armin was relieved he'd made the right choice to dress up for the occasion.

The other man's gazed flicked appraisingly up and down Armin's body, making his stomach do a weird flip. If he had any lingering doubts about the Commander's attraction to him, they instantly vanished.

"Armin, it's good to see you! Come in," Erwin gestured him inside.

Erwin locked the door behind him as soon as he entered. Armin considered making a joke about the last time Levi and Erwin had forgotten to lock a door, before deciding this might be in bad taste. Instead he voiced his awe at the spacious quarters.

"This place is amazing!"

"One of the perks of being Commander," Erwin chuckled. "You should see the gigantic bath. I'm pretty sure Levi loves it more than me."

"Don't come in without taking off your shoes!" The Captain's voice ordered from the next room.

Armin hastily did as he was told, placing them at the door beside the other two pairs. He stood back up and hovered for a moment. He couldn't quite catch his breath.

Are we going to get started straight away?

As if sensing his nerves, Erwin gripped his upper arm and gave it gentle squeeze. Then he guided him down the hall and into a large sitting room. Levi was already sprawled on the couch, his legs crossed, looking perfectly at home.

Armin's own legs were suddenly shaky, his heartbeat accelerating.

Oh Walls, they're both so confident... Am I the only one who's nervous? If they see me trembling, will they assume I don't want this?

"Don't worry," Erwin said. "We're not in any rush. I thought we could talk and relax a bit first."

Levi fixed him with those steely eyes. "Sit down." He lazily patted the seat beside him.

Armin looked automatically at Erwin for his approval, and immediately cursed himself for this impulsive habit.

"I've told you before, I don't bite." Levi crossed his arms. "And you don't have to get permission from Erwin for everything. He's not the Commander in here, unless I tell him to be."

Levi's sharp tone set Armin on edge; he felt like a student being chastised by a teacher.

Is he actually annoyed at me, or is this his way of being nice?!

He was forcefully reminded of Mikasa. She too had a stony, intimidating manner, and she only showed a gentler side with her closest friends. Maybe this cold behaviour is just a shared Ackerman trait…

Defiance rose up in Armin. As anxious as he was around Levi, he had resolved he would speak his mind tonight. Both men had encouraged this in their previous talk. And if they changed their mind about it, then Armin wasn't interested in being some sort of push-over toy for them to play with.

So he replied defensively, "I'm still not familiar with this situation - I don't want to do anything that might annoy one of you. It's really confusing to keep track of two people's feelings at once."

"Fine, that's fair enough." Levi waved a hand. "But you're allowed to sit down beside me. You can't be double-checking every little thing with both of us. Otherwise we'll take all night to get anything done."

Erwin placed a hand on Armin's shoulder. "Levi gets like this when he's nervous," he murmured. "Don't take it personally. He'll be fine once he relaxes." Raising his voice, he said, "You're taking up half the couch Levi. Move over to give Armin some room."

Levi sighed and scooted towards the armrest. Nerves still jangling, Armin walked over and sat next to him. Feeling incredibly awkward, he rested his hands on his lap. Levi started adjusting his sleeves, avoiding eye contact. Armin glanced back at Erwin, who was frowning slightly.

Armin was used to the Captain's poor social skills. But he'd glimpsed a softer side to him these last few days, and Levi had expressed a clear sexual interest in Armin during their discussion in Erwin's office. So to have him act with apparent indifference to him now, of all times, was disconcerting.

Does he regret his decision to take part in this threesome? Maybe he's changed his mind, but doesn't want to disappoint Erwin…

Armin's burning excitement for tonight was getting doused in icy water. He was an idiot for getting his hopes up. Of course his wild fantasies had been completely unrealistic. How could something this complicated ever work? He didn't know how much more of the Captain's cold behaviour he could endure.

He braced himself to voice his opinion to the other two men - that this whole idea was a complete disaster. The best course of action was for Armin to leave as fast as possible, and never speak of this terrible mistake ever again.

The young man was still trying to formulate how to say this, when Levi turned his head to face him. His gaze flickered over his body, similar to what Erwin had done earlier.

"Nice jacket. That colour suits you."

"Oh… thanks?" Armin replied, confusion making him phrase it like a question.

Where the hell did that come from? Is he making fun of me?

But the compliment sounded genuine. Armin was wearing his favourite light blue jacket, a white shirt, and dark grey trousers. Levi was wearing black trousers and a white shirt, the same as Erwin. But neither of them were wearing jackets…

"I'm sorry, is this jacket too formal? I didn't know what to wear-"

"It's fine," Levi assured him, at the same time as Erwin said, "You look great."

After a long pause (during which Armin's insides squirmed with a mixture of embarrassment and pleasure) Erwin offered to make tea, and strode out of the room. Armin fought a mad urge to scream at him not leave him alone with the surly Captain. In his opinion, they needed something a lot stronger than tea to ease the tension.

Damn it! What am I supposed to talk to Levi about?

In his panic, he simply voiced the biggest concern on his mind. "Do you want me to go?" he blurted out, wincing at his own bluntness.

Levi's eyes widened. "What? No! Why do you think that?"

Armin didn't reply. Surely Levi was aware of how his behaviour was making him uncomfortable?

It appeared the Captain got the message. He quickly asked, "Do you want to go?"

Armin swallowed back his reflexive 'yes'. Because he finally seemed to be getting somewhere with Levi, which changed his feelings entirely.

"I – well, no. But I'm feeling really anxious about this," Armin admitted. "I don't want to mess things up, or do something wrong." There was no point feigning courage – it was obvious he was nervous. And he thought he was justified, given the strange circumstances.

Levi glanced towards the door Erwin had left through – which presumably led into the kitchen. It appeared he too was uneasy without the Commander's soothing presence. An indeterminate emotion flickered over his face, before his expression reverted back to its usual mask.

"Yeah, I'm not exactly familiar with this situation either," he muttered. "Erwin said we should just talk for a bit first, to help us relax."

There was a long silence, where both men waited desperately for the other to start up a conversation.

"How was your day?" Armin asked politely.

Levi shrugged. "Nothing special." There was another awkward pause, before he added, "How's your new job?"

Armin latched onto this topic like a drowning man clinging to a piece of driftwood. He recited the same information he'd already repeated dozens of times to his inquisitive friends, about his work duties and how well he got on with Head Librarian Emilia. Levi seemed happy to just listen and nod occasionally. He didn't look bored, thankfully. Just content to let the other man do all the talking.

He was running out of interesting things to say, when he remembered the collection of foreign books.

"There's a whole storage room full of books gifted from other nations! Emilia says I can help her sort through them once we get on top of the more urgent tasks."

Levi didn't seem nearly as enthusiastic at this information as Armin was. Luckily Erwin returned with the tea, and caught the end of the conversation.

"I've seen Emilia's hidden stash. We're going to need a bigger library if the Survey Corps' keeps getting new material," he chuckled, placing the tea tray down on the table.

Armin expected him to sit on the armchair opposite him and Levi, but instead he opted to sit beside Armin on the couch. His breath caught as Erwin handed him his tea, and their legs brushed together.

He forced out a strangled thanks. Sitting side by side, he was forced to acknowledge how much bigger and stronger Erwin was compared to him. He practically dwarfed the other two men on the couch, who were of a similar height. Did Levi find Erwin's towering height and stocky build as appealing as Armin did?

Armin answered Erwin's questions about his new job, and was relieved he sounded genuinely interested. It was certainly less awkward than talking with Levi. The Commander had a natural charisma that always put him at ease. The tea was nice too, a far better quality than what was served in the mess hall.

In all my crazy daydreams of tonight, I never imagined this – sitting between the two men I'm about to have a threesome with, drinking tea and having a cosy chat about work.

He sort of just expected them to get into things straight away; that he'd be so swept up with lust that his anxieties would melt away.

But they'd told him they would take things slow, and he was grateful for that. Despite this initial awkwardness.

Luckily Armin was feeling far more relaxed now. Since Erwin was more talkative than Levi, he focussed most of his attention on him. But when he complimented the tea, Levi surprised him by going into detail about the blend and the best place to buy it.

The Captain's frosty façade was definitely thawing – he casually draped an arm over the back of the couch, right behind Armin. It felt like a possessive gesture, and it sent heat spiking through him.

Suddenly, his whole body felt overheated and he wished he hadn't worn his jacket.

"Are you alright? You look flushed," Levi remarked dryly.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit warm." Armin felt his face burn hotter with both men staring intently at him. He put down his teacup. "I - I might take off my jacket. If that's ok?"

Erwin glanced at his partner, his mouth twisting into a grin. "Go ahead. We don't mind."

Acutely self-conscious, Armin wriggled out of the jacket. Erwin leaned forward to help him, his large hands deftly pulling his arms out of the sleeves. Then Levi took the jacket from Erwin. He folded it neatly and placed it on the table.

"Don't forget it later," he joked. "You can bet that Erwin will make me wear it otherwise."

Erwin rubbed the back of his neck and smirked, not even bothering to disagree with this statement.

The implication sent Armin's already racing heart into convulsions. He was trembling again. Not with fear. Well, a little bit of fear. This situation was slipping into something more akin to the scenarios he'd fantasied about for the last few days. Armin longed for something to happen, for someone to make the first move. He wished he was brave enough to do it. But his inexperience overwhelmed him, sitting next to these two confident, powerful men.

It's like we've passed some sort of threshold... Neither of them are hiding how much they want me now.

The knowledge gave him a heady rush of power. He had control over this situation too. He didn't have to just passively allow things to happen.

The mood in the room had taken a definite shift, from cosy and casual, to simmering with anticipation. The two men gazed at him with undisguised desire. It was a challenge to meet either the icy blue or the steely grey eyes, so Armin instead focussed on his hands twisting in his lap. But his lips lifted in an impulsive smile.

Erwin leaned in closer, his leg pressing against Armin's. His long fingers lightly caressed up and down his arm. Armin felt their warmth through the fabric of his shirt.

"Is this alright?" Erwin asked, voice huskier than usual.

"Y-yes," Armin whispered. It was such a gentle gesture, but already he could barely think straight.

On his other side, Levi brought his arm around Armin's shoulders, pulling him closer. He gave a little jump.

Caught between the hungry stares of both his superiors, Armin was completely intoxicated. Their presence filled his senses - Levi's sharp citrus scent mixing with Erwin's subtle cologne; the Commander's huge physique contrasting with the Captain's smaller but equally powerful presence.

It was all too much.

And yet, Armin needed more.

"Will you tell us if you want to stop?" Levi murmured.

"Yes," Armin said, firmer this time.

Levi lifted his hand from Armin's shoulder and idly twirled a strand of his hair. "You're so beautiful," he growled. "And such a good boy."

Armin's body reacted to the praise before his brain could dissect it. Why was being called 'a good boy' so damn hot? A part of him acknowledged that he'd find it patronising in other circumstances. But for some reason in this intimate setting, it sent heat rushing to his groin.

On his other side, Erwin moved his hand from his arm, and trailed it slowly along his thigh. Armin tried to comprehend the fact that his Commander, the man he'd harboured forbidden fantasies about for months, was now touching him with unconcealed longing. While the equally attractive Captain watched on with interest, still stroking his hair.

A delicious sort of panicked arousal engulfed Armin. He wanted to do something, aside from just sit there. His body urged him to close the tiny distance between himself and Erwin. Wrap his arms around those broad shoulders, pull the man closer, press their mouths together.

But he sat frozen and frustrated between the two men, unsure of the polite protocol. Do I need to ask for permission to touch them back? Will Levi be annoyed if I kiss Erwin first? How the hell am I supposed to know what to do?!

Erwin gave his thigh a hard squeeze. Armin was painfully aware of how tight his trousers had gotten. And how close the man's hand was to his hard cock. Without thinking, he put his hand over Erwin's on his leg.

This must have triggered Levi's next action. He claimed Armin's other hand in his own, sweeping his thumb gently over the back of it. Armin could hardly breathe.

The Commander moved his mouth to his ear, and hot air tickled the younger man's skin.

"Would you like to move this into the bedroom?"

Armin answered the simple question without hesitation.

"Yes," he breathed.

AN: … Please don't kill me for the cliffhanger, there are 2 chapters of hot smut after this! (also lots of emotions, awkwardness, and of course, talking XD)

I'd love to hear feedback – how do you feel about the parts covering Armin's personal life? Did you enjoy the way the threesome kicked off, and the different character dynamics? What do you think of all the awkward tension?! (Blame Levi, he thinks it makes the story more entertaining…)

It's taking more and more energy to work on later chapters, so even just dropping a few words to say you are enjoying this is a huge boost to my motivation!

I really hope you enjoy the upcoming chapters, and finally getting to the smutty goodness :D
