Reyna's POV (Finally)
All of this damn Praetor work is driving me crazy. Combined with the fact Octavian is still around then I'd say I've been just fucking fantastic. Note the sarcasm.I would hang out with some friends, but I don't have many. Jason Grace, a son of Jupiter, or Zeus, spends most of his time hanging out with his girlfriend Piper McLean.Piper is a daughter of Aphrodite or Venus. I can't hang with Frank Zhang a son of Mars (Ares) because he mostly hangs out with his girlfriend Hazel Levesque, the daughter of Pluto or Hades.
Leo Valdez has his girlfriend Calypso. Percy Jackson has Annabeth Chase as far as I know otherwise I'd have asked Percy out by now. At this point I was contemplating joining the Hunters of Artemis. The only thing left for me at Camp Jupiter was my praetorship. As I was thinking about all of this I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I yelled.
Who came in the door surprised and shocked me. There at the door in all his glory was Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon and Neptune. I made the mistake of looking into his mesmerizing sea green eyes and felt my cheeks heat up. Percy gave me his toothy grin and greeted me. After I greeted him back we both took a seat and caught up.
After Percy caught me up with his life I was shocked, angry, surprised, and happy. Shocked because Annabeth cheated on him. Angry because she cheated on him. Surprised because he tamed the Nemean Lion since that is difficult to do. Happy because Percy is here and I can hang out with him. After the both of us got caught up I suggested we hang out. When he agreed I went to get ready. I decided to wear some normal clothes with my golden armor on top. I also chose to wear my Praetor's cloak. I stepped out and saw Percy waiting.
I grabbed my keys and Percy and I stepped out the door and locked it. I grabbed Percy's hand and smiled at him. For our "date" I decided to take the two of us to a cafe. We both ordered coffee and doughnuts. We ate our food then paid and left. I looked at Percy to see him deep in thought.
"Hey Reyna?"
"Yes Percy?"
"What is your view on a romantic relationship?"
I raised an eyebrow in suspicion. does Percy like me or something?
"Well... I don't mind being in a relationship but it's hard to find a boyfriend because of Venus' curse on me. But if I can find a good, handsome, loyal, brave, and nice boyfriend then I'll be happy. Hell I'm probably desperate that I'll take a harem if I find the right person."
"Oh. Sorry about that. If you don't mind me asking. What was Venus' curse? What did she say?"
"Venus told me that no demigod will heal my heart, and I will not find love where I wished or hoped. But I couldn't help it. First I fell for Jason. After he left and you came to Camp Jupiter I hated you at first but I eventually fell for you hard. I still love you even now. I really want you to be my boyfriend but Venus' curse might prevent that..." I said with embarrassment.
I looked over at Percy and saw he gained a serious look then look me straight in the eyes.
"Reyna, I love you too and have for awhile now. I would be honored to be your boyfriend. And if you're worried about the curse then I'll do do whatever it takes to free you from it. I give you my word. I swear it on the River Styx. I'll even swear it on Chaos' name if need be."
Thunder rumbled sealing the deal. What Percy said made so me happy that I kissed him. His lips taste like seasalt. I broke apart from the kids and smiled at him.
"Thank you Percy. You have no idea how happy you made. I guess that makes us boyfriend and girlfriend then doesn't it? "
"Yes Reyna. Yes it does. Now that we're dating that means you're mine and I'm yours. Now come on let's go watch the sunset."
I nodded and followed Percy to the beach where we cuddled up in each other's arms watching the sunset. Afterwards, Percy and I went to the Praetor's cabin and got into bed cuddling each other. That was the best sleep I've gotten in a long time.
Chapter done. By the way, this is my story so I choose the way characters act and everything else so please stop messaging me about that. and if the story doesn't live up to your standards then don't read it I'm not forcing you to anyways. If it is that bad I'll rewrite it or something in the future but for now that's everything. and this is my first time writing a story so please don't push me about it if it's not good then sorry. And also I'm not good with details so I'm also sorry about that.
