Meanwhile, Goku wakes up and regains consciousness alone in the barren wastelands with an empty sack of Senzu Beans that Majin Vegeta took before his fight with Majin Buu. Realizing what Vegeta must have done and chose to fight Buu alone, Goku uses the Instant Transmission to travel to the Lookout, where Piccolo, Mr. Popo, Dende and Krillin are waiting after realizing that Krillin and Piccolo are restored to normal. Dende helpfully heals Goku of his wounds before Piccolo, Krillin, Dende and Mr. Popo tell Goku of what happened.
"No way, Ash is dead along with Gohan and Vegeta." says Goku
"We are glad that you are live but we beed to make it is alive and we need to make sure he die as early as possible" says Piccolo
"We can't defeat Buu. Hope ai should've used Fusion earlier" says Goku
"Fusion " asks Goten
"The technique where two warriors fuse for the certain amount of time considering it uses lots of ki" says Goku
Goku then suggests that if Vegeta was not so eager to beat Majin Buu himself, Goku could have been able to do a fusion with Gohan.
"When did you learned " asks Krillin
"Well you remember the day King Kai took me to other world for some stuff, he wanted me to
learn fusion technique." says Goku
Piccolo knows what it is because he had to fuse with Nail but Goku explains this technique is different because it is not permanent and only lasts 30 minutes. He continues to explain what happens when two people fuse, that they form one totally new being that has characteristics of both people and is stronger than their separate halves. He says it takes a week to learn and since he is the only one day who knows, there is no way to teach it.
Bulma and various allies of the Dragon Team back on the front yard of Capsule Corporation. With the Dragon Balls in front of her, Bulma summons Shenron. Videl is surprised to see it for the first time and is overwhelmed with what she sees. Just as Krillin is about to get the rest of his family to bring them up to the Lookout, the sky goes dark and the people at Kami's Lookout realize someone summoned the Dragon.
Krillin believes it to be Bulma because no one else can gather the Dragon Balls so fast and Goku knows Bulma wants to wish back those Vegeta killed. Dende suggests to stop her because if she makes the two wishes right now they would have to wait a year to make another wish. Goku has trouble finding Bulma's ki because his mind is so clouded. By the time he makes it there, Yamcha actually makes the first wish because Bulma does not know how to phrase the sentence. Yamcha wishes for everyone who died that day to come back to life.
Goku manages to find Bulma, and uses Instant Transmission to reach her. He stops them from making their second wish, asking Shenron to grant their second wish at a later date.
Chi-Chi asks Goku where are Gohan,Ash and Goten and Goku tells everybody the real situation. After explaining the situation to everyone, Goku transports them all (apart from Mr. Brief and Bikini who choose to stay) to Kami's Lookout for their own safety.
Meanwhile Babidi and Buu are searching for their next target.
Meanwhile, Kibito finds and heals Shin, who then suggests that they should find Gohan right away, as Majin Buu's energy is increasing and they don't have much time left. Kibito spots a badly injured Gohan, and before Kibito can heal him, Supreme Kai stops him and tells him they are taking him to their sacred realm.
"Let's look out for Ash as well" says Kibito as he concentrated hard and somehow able to find Ash.
"Ash is severly injured" says Kibito as they picked him up.
Although it is not permitted, he has to in order to save Gohan's and Ash's life. Kibito reluctantly agrees and the pair teleport away, taking Gohan and Ash with them.
On Kami's Lookout, Chi-Chi asks where Gohan and Goten are. Krillin freaks out and Bulma asks where Trunks and Vegeta are, while Piccolo thinks back to the incident. Krillin tells Goku to tell them what happened. After composing himself, Goku reveals that Vegeta was killed by Buu - and believes Gohan has suffered the same fate as well. Everyone is horrified by this, with Chi-Chi collapsing into Ox-King's arms. Bulma starts screaming hysterically at the news that her husband is dead, with Yamcha's attempts to console her proving fruitless. Videl is also startled, and she refuses to believe that Gohan is actually dead.
"Goku show us the fusion technique, we will " says Piccolo as Goku nodded.
"The Fusion Dance is a short series of poses that are performed by two individuals of equal power levels. To correctly perform the Fusion, the fusees must strike the poses in a perfectly symmetrical image of one another. The result of a correctly performed Fusion Dance is a superior being whose power is multiplied several-fold over that of the individual fusees. If the dance is performed incorrectly, it will result in an obese or skinny character who is much weaker than the fusee's" says Goku
"Fusing through this technique uses up a lot of While the technique works best with fusees who have roughly equal sizes. However, it is possible to merge no matter the conditions so long as the technique is followed properly" says Goku
"That cool, how we can do it" asks Goten
Babidi's voice is suddenly heard. Babidi is telepathically speaking to the people of Earth, telling them that they are to blame Trunks, Goten and Piccolo for "any and all destruction" because they refuse to "show themselves". Majin Buu then begins his campaign of destruction by using telekinesis on the people of a city: he lifts them up, turns them into candy of various colors and devours them all. Babidi concludes his broadcast by saying this is what will happen to the rest of the world if Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo do not show their faces within the next few hours.
"We have less 's speed up the training " says Goku
On other side, Majin Buu literally blows up the now vacant city. Babidi then informs the people of Earth that if Goten, Trunks and Piccolo are found, to tell him or he and Majin Buu will destroy the Earth in 5 days.
Marvin, a World Martial Arts Tournament staff member, informs Babidi of the names of the ones he is searching for, but Babidi finds the information useless and blows up his head. At the Lookout, a very angry Piccolo has heard the news that the world will be destroyed in five days by Majin Buu, and offers to give himself in. He then decides to stay and help Goku teach the boys the Fusion Dance. Meanwhile, Trunks and Goten awaken and go off to explore.
On the Sacred World of the Kai, Gohan and Ash are healed and they believes that they are dead, but realizes that they don't have a halo and Kibito informs Gohan and Ash that no mortal has ever set foot on the sacred world before and Gohan points at Kibito that he really is dead, but the Supreme Kai tells him no and that it was a close call.
"Ash, how you are alive" asks Gohan
"Vegeta told me to get away as he wants me to defeat Buu of he failed. He said that he trust in Goku and others to defeat Buu, so I used instant transmission and since I used lots of my ki, I went unconscious " says Ash
The Supreme Kai tells Gohan that he was brought there to pull out the legendary Z Sword, which has never been done by anyone. The Supreme Kai explains the sword makes its owner unbeatable. Kibito totally doubts that Gohan can pull out the sword and thinks it was a mistake bringing him to the planet in the first place. The four of them rush off to find the Z Sword.
Ash, Gohan, the Supreme Kai and Kibito fly towards the Z sword. Kibito makes a comment on Gohan's and Ash's current apparel, stating that its not nearly suitable enough as Gohan and Ash cannot train in dirty old rags. Kibito then provides Gohan and Ash with clothes similar to their own. Supreme Kai and Kibito then gives Gohan his first task is to pull out the Z sword and Gohan decides to give it a try.
Back at the lookout, Trunks and Goten are found crying after Goku tells them of Gohan and Vegeta's death. Goku takes a much sterner approach, stating that there is no time for tears, and that they need to suck it up if they are going to be able to stop Majin Buu. The others watch in anticipation as the two boys stop crying and prepare for the lessons ahead.
On The Lookout, Videl is crouched up like a ball sitting off to the side, Bulma still can not believe what has happened and realizes that he was strong enough to defeat Cell, but not strong enough to defeat Buu, while Chi-Chi is lying on a bed being fanned by her father as he realizes that Chi-Chi has now lost both her husband and her son.
Videl refuses to believe that Gohan is dead and tells the others that they haven't found him and acted like they buried him. Krillin tells her how he can not feel his life force, meaning he is dead, but Videl persists, almost certain that Krillin is wrong as she tells him that Gohan can't be gone, because she didn't get a chance to be together with him. Videl then looks outside, hoping that Gohan is safe somewhere.
On the Sacred World of the Kai, as he places his hands on the Z Sword, Gohan asks what will happen if he were to pull it out and Kibito simply replies that he will be more powerful. Gohan then tries to pull out the sword and falls back on his head with his hands pounding red. After the failed attempt in his normal form, Gohan gives it a go again and turns into a Super Saiyan 2. With his strength, he pulls it out, also managing to ruin a bit of ground around it. Kibito is extremely amazed at this.
Gohan then tries to lift the sword up, but fails, falling backwards due to the sword's immense weight. He then struggles a bit getting back up, then he comically says "Hey, I think I know how to beat Majin Buu. All I have to do is hand him this sword. It's so heavy that he won't be able to move his arms."
"You think this is a joke. Don't forget we are speaking of Majin Buu. Even if you are suoer saiyan 3 you won't be able to lift that." says then tells Gohan he has to master the sword in order to beat Majin Buu because he can not wobble around like he currently is.
Gohan offers Kibito the sword, handing it over to him. Kibito takes it, but it is so heavy and contains so much mass that Kibito barely even holds it and it just falls out of his hands when he tried lifting it up.
On Kami's Lookout, Goku, Piccolo, Goten and Trunks continue their lessons, learning the basics of the Fusion Dance. Goku stresses how they need to learn it as quickly as possible, how little time they will have to get the job done once fused, and how they would need to wait an hour before they could fuse again. When Goku tells them to become Super Saiyans for this, Goten and Trunks just stare at him furiously. Goku asks them what is wrong and they both look at each other, then why Goku wasn't there when Vegeta was fighting Majin Buu. Goku responds that he was knocked out, but the pair remain unsatisfied by his answer and accuses him of being a coward and for not helping Vegeta or Gohan fight Buu. Goku is briefly stunned by their outburst, but manages to talk them into agreeing to learn the fusion after Piccolo stands up for Goku and tells them that Goku wasn't being a coward.
Then, Babidi and Majin Buu reach another city, and Babidi begins another broadcast demanding the location of Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo. As nobody speaks up, Babidi bids Buu to once again feed, and Buu this time chooses to turn the people of the city into chocolate bars. Trunks and Goten defy Piccolo's order not to close their eyes, and the boys are horrified by Babidi's vision.
Mr. Satan is still attempting to figure out how to fly when his training is interrupted by a crowd of people wanting for him to confront and defeat Majin Buu. Mr. Satan decides to appease the crowd by telling them that he's working on a secret new technique for that purpose, while wondering to himself exactly how he can pull this off.
Buu finds himself full for once, so he blasts the remaining chocolate bars, melting them over the city before destroying it. Trunks and Goten, having had enough, break their silence and tell Babidi that they intend to come for him and Buu. Piccolo quickly convinces the boys to stop before Babidi can trace them back to the Lookout. With newfound determination, Trunks and Goten stand ready to accept Goku's instruction.
On the Lookout, Goku prepares to teach Goten and Trunks the Fusion Dance, however Trunks is still skeptical of the technique. Goku disregards this and instructs Goten and Trunks to become Super Saiyans and raise their power levels as high as they can go. After doing so, he notices that Trunks' power is higher than Goten's and says that the Fusion technique will not work unless their power levels are the same and that Trunks has to lower his power to match Goten's.
"Can you lower your power Trunks" asks Goku
After doing so, he tells him to remember how it felt. After the two return to normal, Trunks complains about Goten's inability to raise his power to match his. Goku explains that since Trunks was a year older, it is only natural that he is a little stronger. After a while, Bulma enters the room and says that Goku better not be doing anything to hurt Trunks. Krillin just carries Bulma out of the room so the two Super Saiyans could continue their training. After Bulma walks off in frustration, Krillin listens to Goten and Trunks' eager voices as they want to continue.
Meanwhile, Majin Buu and Babidi continue to terrorize the planet by completely destroying several buildings and knocking a van into an overturned vehicle. The television news media cover the devastation and were taken to an enormous mansion. Within the mansion, Idasa, Ikose, and their mother are watching the news on TV.
As the news reporter says the names of Ma Junior, Goten, and Trunks, Idasa and Ikose's mom remember Bulma shouting Trunks' name from the Junior Division of the World Martial Arts Tournament. Angered, she says that she would tell Babidi where Trunks lived if she knew. However, Idasa mentions that Trunks lived at the Capsule Corporation in West City.
Upon receiving the information, she instructs Idasa and Ikose to close their eyes and concentrate on contacting Babidi with their minds. As Babidi was reveling in the destruction, he notices that Idasa's mom was contacting him to reveal his location.
However, she kept talking about how Idasa was cheated out of the Junior Division title. Annoyed by her voice, Babidi thanks her for the information and mentions that he will kill her if he hears her screeching voice again. Upon hearing this, she became frustrated about the way she was treated by Babidi.
Back at Kami's Lookout, the two boys are about to power up to their maximum without going Super Saiyan when Babidi makes another global announcement. He says that since Trunks will not come to him, he will go to Capsule Corp. to see him. If Trunks is not there, Majin Buu and Babidi will level Capsule Corp. and West City to kill his friends and family.
Bulma rushes into the room where the boys were training to voice her concern since Dr. Brief and Bikini were still in West City.
Goku exclaims that if West City is destroyed, they can bring back the Brief family back with the first Dragon Ball wish and the rest of the people with the second wish. However, Piccolo explains that they already used the first wish to restore the spectators who died at the World Martial Arts Tournament, but Goku thinks they can try to obtain two new wishes by asking Shenron real nice for them. Bulma also says that if West City is destroyed, the Dragon Radar would also be destroyed as well. Posed with that problem, Trunks is sent to retrieve the Dragon Radar while Goku would intercept Majin Buu and Babidi. Goku tells Bulma that Trunks is her son and he is sure that he will be able to find the radar and Bulma agrees.
After Trunks turns Super Saiyan and flies off.
"I am going to intercept Majin Buu " says Goku as he uses his Instant Transmission technique to teleport to Majin Buu and Babidi.
Meanwhile, Majin Buu was shooting energy blasts at a local city when Goku teleports in front of Babidi and Majin Buu.
"Well aren't you dead. I thought Vegeta detroyed you already. I can't tell you how grateful I am as you four helped me in resurrect Majin Buu" says Babidi
Goku states that they never would have Babidi succeed it if they would not have underestimated Majin Buu.
"Are you here to complement Majin Buu's power." asks Babidi " Join us and you will be greatest warrior on earth"
"No thanks" says Goku " We will kill you"
This causes Majin Buu and Babidi to break out in laughter, and Babidi says that if Goku wants to prevent the destruction of West City, the three will need to reveal themselves
"You have to fight me first " says Goku
With that, Babidi tells Majin Buu to kill Goku, but Majin Buu starts to giggle at Babidi. This angers Babidi, and he tells him to face Goku.
"You haven't seen my powers yet" says Goku as he transformed into super saiyan. The power levels starts rising as Goku asks why such a strong being like Majin Buu is following Babidi's orders. Babidi tells Majin Buu not to listen to him and says to Goku that he is the one who resurrected Majin Buu, so he belongs to him. However, Majin Buu looks at Babidi and growls angrily. After Babidi threatens to seal Majin Buu away again, Majin Buu mentions that Goku would kill Babidi once he is sealed away, but he would attack Goku anyway since he does not like him.
After moving a few feet away from Majin Buu, Babidi starts to broadcast to the world what will happen if anyone defied him. Then, Goku starts to power up beyond Super Saiyan.
Meanwhile, Babidi comments that Goku's "trick" was just a waste of energy and Vegeta did the same thing. Seeing how an ascended Super Saiyan is not much a challenge to them, Goku states that he might as well take it to the next level. However, Goku's words about Super Saiyans puzzles Babidi. The episode ends leaving the viewers wondering whether or not Goku can push his power level as far as he said he could.
"You haven't seen my true power yet" says Goku as he starts to transform and the surrounding area starts to shake due to immense power.
Babidi is uninterested in Goku's claim in that he is about to go beyond a Super Saiyan 2 and he orders Majin Buu to destroy Goku so they can continue to West City. Goku thinks to himself that it is hard to believe Majin Buu could be so powerful by the way he acted, but notes that Vegeta probably thought the same. At The Lookout, everyone is still watching the battle through Babidi's mind projection. Bulma comments that Trunks should be at Capsule Corporation by now, but Piccolo states that he is not there yet.
"Majin buu is dead, he can't sustain the Super saiyan 3" says Piccolo
Goku returns to his normal state, prompting Majin Buu to ask whether or not they are still going to play. Goku reassures him that they will get to it once he has taught them a thing or two about Super Saiyans, though Babidi still seems uninterested.
Before powering up, Goku explains that he is currently in his normal state. Then Goku powers up to a Super Saiyan and explains that he is currently a Super Saiyan. After that, he powers up to the next level. Goku explains that his current form is a Super Saiyan who has ascended past a Super Saiyan, dubbing the form "Super Saiyan 2" for the first time. Babidi brushes it off, claiming that Goku just changed his hair, and he calls it a useless transformation.
"You are calling it useless. " says Goku starts screaming as he raises his power level, explaining that this is to go even further beyond. Majin Buu looks at Goku with awe while Babidi appears to be afraid.
At the Lookout, everything starts to shake. As Goku continues to power up, his immense power is affecting the climate around the world. The wind starts to blow heavily, and the Earth is shaking as well. Goku begins to transform; his hair slowly beginning to grow longer. The immense power that he is generating slowly blows Babidi away from him.
At a nearby city, the glass of office buildings and street signs start breaking. Televisions sets are exploding due to Goku's high energy output. From a mountain area, Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu also notice Goku's power. Tien gasps that it feels like the planet is shaking apart and he protests that Goku will destroy the world if he doesn't stop. Back at the site of the World Martial Arts Tournament, Mr. Satan is busy dodging falling weights as the ground shakes.
With a mighty scream, Goku lets his power explode as he pushes his energy level to the maximum in a brilliant flash of light. Babidi has to shield his eyes to prevent himself from being blinded by the immense light, but when he uncovers his eyes, he gasps as he sees what Goku is now. Goku is no longer the man he was. His orange gi shimmers with a tremendous aura of power. His hair has grown all the way down to his waist, and his eyebrows are gone. Babidi is still gasping as he starts to fear Goku.
While Babidi is still in shock, Buu looks at Goku with amazement. At Kami's Lookout, Master Roshi comments on Super Saiyan 3, while on the Sacred World of the Kai, Gohan,Ash, Supreme Kai and Kibito are able to sense Goku's power. Kibito protests that it should be impossible to feel Goku's power from the Other World. Back at the battlefield, Babidi looks on with anger. As Majin Buu smiles, he says that he is not scared, and Goku's long hair makes him look funny. Babidi agrees with Majin Buu and comments that his current form is ridiculous and that Goku is in need of a haircut. However, Goku welcomes the challenge.
Babidi thinks that this battle is something that the whole planet should see.
Meanwhile, Trunks finally makes it to Capsule Corp. However, his grandma starts asking him if he wants anything to eat. Ignoring her questions, he asks Dr. Brief where the Dragon Radar is kept, but Dr. Brief does not remember where it was last kept at.
Back at the battlefield, Goku says " Majin Buu, what are you waiting for" as Majin Buu gets angry and charged at Goku with amazing speed. However Goku grabbed Majin Buu and starts doing boxing with him.
Goku starts to pummel Majin Buu with ease with Babidi looking on. While Goten comments that no one can beat his dad, Piccolo comments that the chances of Goku stopping Majin Buu by himself is still slim. Back on Earth, people are watching the battle with their minds. At this point, Goku throws Majin Buu into an office building, completely destroying it, but Majin Buu recovers and flies back towards Goku.
Majin Buu starts to fire multiple energy blasts at Goku, but Goku simply swats them away. The deflections leave Babidi dodging all of the blasts. Babidi tells Buu to finish off Goku and stop showing off. Majin Buu stretches his arm out and hits Goku in the face, but Goku is unharmed, and the exchange just leaves the two combatants smiling at each other.
The battle intensifies as Majin Buu and Goku keep matching each other move for move. When they stop, Majin Buu comments that he is having fun, and Goku agrees. However, Babidi barks at Majin Buu to attack. When Majin Buu starts to become agitated, Babidi threatens to seal him away, but Majin Buu tells him to be quiet. While Babidi gripes about not being treated with respect, Goku notices that Trunks has not left Capsule Corp yet and tells him to hurry. However, Babidi notices that Goku is communicating with Trunks. Meanwhile, Trunks and Dr. Brief continue their search for the Dragon Radar.
"Buu, I'm a man of courtesy as well as strength. So I've got to tell you that I'm quite impressed by your fighting techniques. I've fought beings from beyond nameless galaxies and you are by far, the best" says Goku
Super Saiyan 3 Goku is continuing his fight against Majin Buu. Each punch that the two land spark electricity. Meanwhile, Goten, Krillin, and Piccolo continue to watch the battle from The Lookout. Piccolo comments that the more Goku fights, the more Majin Buu's strength increases. Goku manages to land a kick in Majin Buu's stomach, but the kick does not faze the blobbish creature. Instead, Majin Buu expands his stomach, causing Goku's body to become enveloped within Majin Buu's body.
This causes Babidi to cheer with delight and encourage Majin Buu to continue. However, Goku charges his energy and let it loose in a terrific explosion. This allows Goku to free himself, but it causes Majin Buu to become as flat as the pavement. Majin Buu rectifies the problem by inhaling air to re-inflate his body to its normal form.
At Capsule Corporation, Trunks, Dr. Brief and Bikini continue their search for the Dragon Radar. The battle with Majin Buu intensifies with Goku giving Majin Buu a swift kick to the face. The force of the kick sends the evil creature a few feet away, but Majin Buu manages to regain control and fires several energy blasts at Goku. Goku manages to deflect the blast away with his hands and counterattacks by firing an energy blast at Majin Buu. However, Majin Buu cancels out the blast by catching and squeezing it within his hands. Then, the two combatants charge each other with amazing speed, releasing a fury of punches. When Babidi commends Buu for his performance, Majin Buu's attention is distracted momentarily for Goku to get in a real quick hit.
After Babidi calls Majin Buu a fool for being distracted, Goku wonders to himself why Trunks has not left Capsule Corporation yet.
Goku's energy is draining fast, yet Majin Buu is relentless in his attack. At this point, Majin Buu starts to charge Goku, but the Super Saiyan 3 keeps moving at an extraordinary speed, gradually moving Majin Buu away from West City. As Majin Buu keeps getting frustrated in his inability to catch Goku, Goku manages to give Majin Buu a swift kick to the face. However, after inflating his face again, Majin Buu quickly hits Goku away.
Meanwhile, everyone is still watching the battle from Kami's Lookout. Goten even wonders about the whereabouts of his deceased father. Bulma eventually speaks and remembers that she left the Dragon Radar inside her airplane after searching for the Dragon Balls. Master Roshi asks Krillin to go find a phone to call him, and Krillin comments that he has never seen a phone at the lookout. Videl gives Krillin her cellular phone to use.
Back at the battlefield, things intensify as Buu launches an energy wave at Goku. The blast sends Goku flying several feet away, but after powering up, he manages to dissipate the blast. During a brief break from the battle, Goku marvels at the fact that Majin Buu is still enjoying himself after fighting at their intensity.
Bulma manages to get a hold of her mother at Capsule Corporation and asks to speak to Trunks. However, Trunks is still searching for the Dragon Radar and does not want to talk to her right now. After hearing this, Bulma angrily demands that he get on the phone immediately. She tells Trunks the location of the Dragon Radar, and Trunks starts to get frustrated about whether or not they have an airplane. Hearing this, Dr. Brief grabs his capsule case.
After doing some dancing movement, Majin Buu extends his arms to try to hit Goku, but Goku evades being hit. However, this leaves Majin Buu in a perfect position to grab Goku with his extended arms. After grabbing him, he shortens his arms again and gives Goku a terrific headbutt. The Super Saiyan 3 then fires a Super Kamehameha right through Majin Buu's stomach, leaving Babidi shocked. However, Majin Buu is still alive and heals his wound instantaneously.
"Can we defeated this thing" asks Goku to himself as Majin Buu fires a pink version of what Goku recognized to be a Kamehameha, but Goku swats it at Majin Buu. Majin Buu swats it towards Babidi, and the wizard narrowly missed being hit as the beam hit a mountainside.
From the lookout, the intensity of the beam is causing the entire foundation to shake. Even Gohan and Ash senses the battle from the Sacred World of the Kai. Supreme Kai mentions that this may be a battle that Goku can not win and that the key to defeating Majin Buu rests on Gohan to master the Z Sword. Gohan then resumes his training while Kibito tells him to see himself and the sword as a single entity.
Back at the battlefield, Babidi complains that Majin Buu could have killed him along with the rest of the planet. Meanwhile, Goku takes this opportunity to commend Majin Buu on his fighting techniques while Majin Buu thanks him. At Capsule Corporation, Dr. Brief releases the airplane from its capsule, and Trunks continues his search for the Dragon Radar inside the plane. It only takes Trunks a moment to find the radar in the front seat, and after blowing off his grandma's invitation for lunch, he turns into a Super Saiyan and starts flying back to the lookout.
Goku notices Trunks' energy moving away from West City and realizes that he found the radar. He then fazes out of Super Saiyan 3 and reverts to his regular form.
"Are we going to battle or not" asks Majin Buu
Goku responds that he had fun fighting Majin Buu, but he has to go. Babidi interrupts, saying that he would decide when Goku would leave and orders Majin Buu to finish off Goku.
However, Goku asks Babidi to give Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten two days to prepare themselves for Majin Buu and asks for the duo not to kill anyone else or destroy anything until then. Majin Buu asks if the three were really that strong, and Goku confirms it. Babidi is still not convinced and says if even they trained for two years, the three of them still can not defeat Babidi and Majin Buu.
Buu strangles Babidi before punching him
Goku mentions that the three would only be fighting one of the two, because the other one only barks orders. After Babidi gave Goku the "finger" and told Goku to shove it, Goku teleports away. Babidi quickly moves away from Goku and hides behind Majin Buu as Goku dematerializes. Once they notice that Goku is gone, Babidi calls Buu incompetent and orders Buu to find Goku. Yet, Majin Buu remains faced away from Babidi getting angrier and refuses to follow his order.
After a while, Majin Buu looks towards Babidi with a smile on his face and tells him that he has a better idea. Surprised, yet unimpressed, that Majin Buu has an idea, he demands to know his idea, but the Majin moves closer repeating what he said after Babidi tells Majin Buu that he said that already. Then, Majin Buu grabs Babidi by the neck, choking him and disenabling him to talk. Majin Buu mentions that as long as Babidi can not talk, he can not say the spell to seal him away again.
In the meantime, Goku makes it back to the lookout. Surprised to see his father, Goten runs to hug Goku. Piccolo asks Goku how he is, and Goku replies that he is fine. Bulma tells Goku that Trunks found the Dragon Radar and is heading back to the lookout. With the Dragon Radar, they will be able to find the Dragon Balls to reincarnate everyone who died and restore things to normal.
Meanwhile, Majin Buu tells Babidi it is time for him to go. He starts to rear his free fist back while Babidi looks on in fear. With a final "bye bye", Babidi can only watches as Majin Buu approaches his head. With a smile on his face, Majin Buu punches Babidi's head off of his body, spewing blood around. Without Babidi to control Majin Buu, he is free to do whatever he wants.
