Chapter 2: Welcome to Berk

It was morning when the Dragon Riders finally reached Berk, which had gone through major development over the last twelve months. With the knowledge of there being others who sought to achieve Drago's dream, the Dragon Riders soon became Dragon Rescuers, and because of that a new ship full of Dragons coming over every day and the stables filled to the brim with dragons, the Hooligan tribe realized they need to expand berk, through the forests, on the mountains, off the edges of the island even buildings huts and houses on top of other huts and houses. Pretty soon the number of dragons outnumbered the Vikings ten to one.

One of the statues that matched the port of Berk had been completely crushed when Drago attacked and has since been replaced. However instead of a Viking statue, it was now a dragon statue and a good number of dragons were now living inside its mouth.

Once they returned the Haddock twins introduced the newly rescued dragons to their new home. "This is Berk. Your new home away from home. A stunning, one-styled, all-expense-paid dream destination." Hiccup welcomed the rescued dragons.

"Don't you worry, we've got something for every Dragon here, whether you're a Stoker and Strike, Big or small, social or solitary." Hicca promised as they were flying over the village and despite all the reinforcements they had put into the new housing structures, as a group of Gronckles crushed one of the houses and a Scauldron eating from a feeding trough.

"So settle in and let your worries melt away! The service here soars, the cuisine's fiery, and the locals are as colorful as you get," Hiccup continued as they flew past a Viking who had his pike roasted by a dragon and flew past Gothi who was flying on the backs of her Terrible Terrors.

"Any run of the mill paradise boasts beaches and sunshine…" Hicca said as they flew over a bunch of Vikings that were hopping on back dragons to get across to their homes. "…Well, not us. We've got something no one else can touch. We, my friend, have dragons. Lots—and lots—of dragons!"

Toothless, Midnight and the Goregutter then landed on a pole sticking out of a statue. The pole was turning around the statue through a complex mechanism that Hiccup had designed.

Then Vikings and dragons quickly ran out of the way of the Goregutter as it jumped off the pole and landed on the ground. Moments later the other rescued dragons landed on the ground and Hiccup turned to face his people.

"Gang, meet our latest Berkians," Hiccup announced.

"Make sure they all feel right at home." Hicca ordered.

The welcoming committee then immediately approached the newly rescued dragons.

"Welcome to paradise, mate!" A man said, presenting a fish to one of the dragons.

"Oh, aren't you a beauty?" A woman said, stroking a dragon.

"Ah, you're welcome, you're welcome," Snotlout said and then stuffed his helmet on the head of a small boy. "I took on, like, a hundred trappers-a, a thousand trappers!"

"All with burning undies," Ruffnut snickered.

"My thick, full beard almost caught on fire," said Tuffnut.

Ruffnut rolled her eyes. "Ugh. Just, just stop."

Snotlout then approached Valka. "So, uh, Hiccup's mom, any notes on my bone-crushing assault, or was it pretty much perfect?"

"Oh, it was… indescribable," Valka said and Snotlout failed to realize that she was being sarcastic. "And please, call me Valka. It has been a year."

Snotlout nodded and smiled. "First name basis." He said to Raeda.

"Don't let it get to your head," Raeda warned her boyfriend with a grin.

Snotlout gave a slight chuckle. "Don't worry. I learned my lesson… many times." He muttered as Raeda gave a slight chuckle.

Then Gobber then walked up to them as Toothless and Midnight's kids barreled past him. "Looks like the mission was a success." He said with a slight chuckle.

"Yup, another ship load of dragon rescued." Hiccup confirmed as the Night Fury younglings rushed around their parents.

'So what was it like?'

'How many hunters were there?!'

'Did you blast them?!'

'Did you see any new dragons?!'

'What kind of tricks did you use?!'

Toothless then growls to the younglings to slow down as Midnight tells them the whole story after she gave her mate a chuckle.

"I think the real heroes today were Toothless and Midnight, isn't that right, bud?" Hiccup said approaching Toothless and then began scratching him under the chin. "What would we do without you, oh, King of Dragons? What would we do?"

"Leave the flock to Midnight of course, the mighty Queen of Dragons." Hicca stated dramatically as Midnight held her head up high.

"Well, we could train a lot harder, for one," Astrid offered. "That was pretty sloppy."

"Astrid, uh, does have a point," Valka admitted as she began to remove her gauntlets. "Perhaps you all rely a little bit too much on your dragons and not enough on one another."

"See? That's exactly what I was saying," Snotlout said. "Just, listen up, guys!" He then approached the Haddock twins and patted Hiccup hard on the back. "Yeah, your mom's super smart cousins, very well thought."

Raeda rolled her eyes with a smirk. "This is coming for the guy who needed to be rescued by his own dragon, twice. How many times are you gonna get into trouble because of your suit? If you'd just let me fix it for you-"

Snotlout just raised a hand, "Oh Raeda, Raeda, Raeda. I told you before, when it comes to sewing I'm on the same level as you."

"You keep using the cross-stitch instead of a lock-stitch." Raeda pointed out in a songy-tone.

Snotlout was quiet for a bit before he crossed his arms while grumbling. "Shut up, Raeda." He muttered as Raeda gave a slight chuckle at Snotlout and kissed his cheek.

"Though, she's not wrong. I mean, most of us did pretty okay, but we would've been caught by surprise if our dragons weren't there." Valerie noted as she patted Camo, "We might wanna start practicing without our dragons."

"I have to agree, though the fighting would've been avoided if four riders would've stuck to the plan on a strict stealth mission." Henry added while giving four certain Riders a look.

The four riders, Snotlout, Valerie and the Thorston twins, looked at Henry in confusion. "Is he talking about us?" Tuffnut asked in confusion.

"He's the new captain of the berk guard, whenever he looks at you, he's often talking about you." Valerie reminded him. After Hiccup became Chief, the riders were each given spots as his council along with Hicca as well as jobs outside of they're dragon rescue operations.

Hicca worked as the new Healer after Gothi decided to retire and Hiccup's right hand while Astrid became their second-in-command, Henry became part of Berk Guard, Raeda became the designer for new homes and structures for Berk, Fishlegs became advisor and dragon knowledge keeper to the Chief as well as teaching the future dragons riders all they needed to know, Snotlout became the official second blacksmith successor being a weapon tester for some time at least under Gobber's supervision, while also making sure to follow the designs properly, the Thorston twins are still pranksters but mainly try to keep the spirits of the tribe alive and optimistic and Valerie became the commander of the scouting missions thanks to her and camo stealth skills, they patrol the oceans or islands for any Trappers to see if they have taken any dragons while checking for holes their defenses to report back to Hiccup and also acting as a field trainer for younger Vikings when Fishlegs was too busy.

It was at that point that Fishmeat jumped out of Fishlegs' pouch and rushed over towards the Goregutter.

"Fishmeat!" Fishlegs said, trying to stop him, but stopped when he found out that he was playing. "You found a new friend!"

Fishmeat began jumping around beneath the Goregutter excitedly and he began following his example chasing after the baby Gronckle. Unfortunately he wasn't watching where he was going and swinging his tail around.

"Mind your heads!" Spitelout yelled.

A group of Vikings immediately duck just in time as the Goregutter flies over their heads. Sadly the cart containing some firewood was smashed to bits and everyone immediately backed away from the particularly large and excitable dragon. The Goregutter was so excited that he failed to see where he was going and went back into the statue with the rotating poles.

"Waitwaitwaitwait! Nononono!" Hicca exclaims before she winces as the statue then collapses on a building, causing all the dragon inhabitants to fly off and then that building slammed into more buildings like a pack of dominoes. It reached the edge of the cliff.

"Timber! Again." Valerie quipped with a dry chuckle.

Henry bit his lip, "Well, add that to the repair pile." He commented with a cringe.

"Ugh!" Gobber groaned at what happened. "What good is having the King and Queen of Dragons around if they can't keep the order?"

The Haddock twins looked at Toothless and Midnight. "Hey, bud, do you and Midnight wanna do something here, or…?"

Toothless and Midnight then immediately roared at the Goregutter, and he in turn bowed respectfully to the new Alphas.

"There, problem solved." Hicca said with a smile.

"And where do you suppose we put these ones?" Gobber asked, mostly gesturing to the Goregutter.

"Eh, we'll make room," Hiccup assured him.

"We can find some more room in the forest if we expand the village a bit." Hicca suggested, since Berk is big and they've been expanding as much as they could when bringing new dragons back to Berk.

"Aah!" Gobber cried as his wooden prosthetics slammed into Hiccup's chest knocking the wind out of him. His eyes had fallen upon the Hobgobbler, which just continued to sit there like a lump. "You brought back a Hobgobbler?!" He asked like they were mad, "They're a bad omen. We're cursed."

"What?! This little guy?" Hicca asked as she and her brother laughed. This wasn't the first time that someone had these crazy superstitions about dragons, but they were pretty much able to confirm them to be false and they doubted that this one would be any different.

"Nonsense. What harm could he do?" Valka said as she picked up the Hobgobbler and examined him. "No injuries. They're all a little shaken, but otherwise healthy. Now, who's hungry?" She asked him like he was a baby.

(Linebreak)

Later that day, Hiccup and Hicca entered the great Hall which was full to the brim of both dragons and Vikings eating. Flying overhead was a good majority of dragons, which added to the constant fear whether they were going to release their load at any given moment.

Hiccup was now out of his arm and was wearing his standard leather armor while Hicca is wearing some standard leather armor as well while wearing a healer's suit, just in case there is an emergency.

Gobber was walking beside the Haddock twins, trying once again to convince them to limit the number of dragons staying on their little island. "Point is, you two can't keep bringing dragons back here."

"Gobber, rescuing dragons from the Trappers is kinda the reason why we bring them back here." Hicca reminded him as she saw Gothi flew overhead, sitting on her staff which was being flown by her flock of Terrible Terrors, like she was some kind of witch. "Hi Gothi!"

"Aah!" Gobber groaned.

"Come on, boy!" Snotlout yelled, holding a plateful fish.

Snotlout too was out of his armor and was wearing his helmet which now had a pair of large goat horns. He also had a golden belt around his waist with a picture of himself engraved on it and linking his bear cape around his shoulder was a large golden chain.

"That's not the point, Hicca. You two are just asking for trouble," Gobber continued.

The Haddock Twins quickly stopped Gobber as a Berkian began chasing a Scuttleclaw, who had just stolen his fish.

"No, you don't, you little thief!" he yelled.

Once they pass they continue walking.

"Those Trappers are getting closer by the day," said Gobber as he lifted the tail of a Zippleback tail so they could walk under it.

"We can handle them. We have the Alphas," said Hiccup as he and Hicca each took an apple. "Ain't that right, bud? Would you look at how happy they are?" He asked.

They walked past Valka and Spitelout who were having an arm wrestle. Then to Spitelout's shock and embarrassment Valka won as he growled angrily and Valka laughed.

"Wow, Valka, you really are strong." Raeda said in surprise with Snotlout next to her.

Raeda had also gone through some changes. She has her hair in a ponytail now, black sleeveless jacket with a short sleeve purple shirt with leather armguards, gray pants and brown boots. At her waist she held two bags that held her brushes, pencils and quills for drawing and book to record any sketches and on her back was her trusty bow and arrows. What was also noted were the small splodges of paint she had on her clothes, due to her doing some painting she had done already or previously.

"You are amazing." Snotlout said in shock.

Valka gave a slight chuckle. "Well, I have practiced for twenty years being with dragons. You pick up a few things when you're the wife of Stoick the Vast." She said with a slight smile.

"We can see why Stoick married you." Raeda said as she and Snotlout chuckled.

"Gobber, relax." Hiccup said as he and Hicca each gave Toothless and Midnight the apples they took earlier. "We did it. The world's first dragon-Viking utopia. We made the dream a reality."

"We made it possible so that dragons and Vikings can live in peace and freedom. It's a dream come true." Hicca added with a smile.

"Both your dreams, maybe," Gobber said as they stopped at the food bowl. "Mine's less crowded and more…" It was about the moment they saw a Hobgobbler floating inside the bowl. "Aah! Sanitary."

The Viking in charge of the soup then handed Gobber a bowl of it and surprisingly, he didn't want to after finding out what had been swimming in the super who knows how long.

"Gobber, you're not fooling anybody," said Hiccup. "I know you love them."

"These dragons are just adjusting to their freedom and doing what they do, give it time." Hicca assured.

The Hobgobbler was still floating in the bowl, but Toothless then growled at it. 'Hey! That's soup, not a bath!' Then without a moment's hesitation he immediately swam out of the bowl and scampered off.

(Linebreak)

The Haddock twins and Gobber then went to join Valka and the other Dragon Riders as they were eating.

"You two are supposed to be the generations that lead us into the future and to heal us when one of us loses an arm." Gobber told the two as they sat down with the others, gesturing to his own prosthetics.

Just like everyone else the others were out of their armor and in normal everyday clothes. Astrid had changed her hairstyle once again, it was now waist-length hair that she leaves down with a single long braid and long bangs swept to the left. She also had abandoned her far hood and now had a brooch on her chest that was shaped like a Deadly Nadder.

Fishlegs haven't changed that much, but now that he was out of his armor you could see that he now had a tattoo over his right arm.

Ruffnut hadn't changed that much either, though she was now wearing a metal breastplate and a metal sleeve over her right arm. Tuffnut was now wearing metal shoulder pads with spikes shooting out of them and to different armbands with spikes on them on each arm and he was still pretending that his long hair was a beard.

Valerie had changed a bit over time herself. Her red hair now had blonde endings, giving her hair a fiery look. Her jacket had Changewing skin sewn to fabric, her boots had claws on them like Changwings and on her belt were vials of Changwing acid.

Henry didn't change much as he had a change of clothing as he has some new armor, including shoulder pads and arm guards like his father, his hair grew out at the back with a warrior wolf-tail and he wore an armor vest of dragon scales.

Tuffnut was trying to retrieve his plate from Barf's mouth. Eventually he managed to take it back, but accidentally tossed the food straight towards Snotlout, who managed to duck in time. Snotlout smiled fiendishly at him, thinking that Tuffnut wanted to start a food fight.

"Ha-ha! Food fight!" Snotlout yelled, tossing a chicken leg at him.

In no time flat the two of them began to toss food at one another.

Henry sighs as he places a hand on his face. "Heh, not again." He muttered as he dodge from the incoming food.

Ruffnut was currently sitting on the table holding a tankard of mead. "Mmm, gorg-e-ousss," She said about taking a sip. However, Tuffnut then tossed a whole chicken at her and it got stuck in her Viking horns. "Watch the hair!"

Ruffnut then began to join in the food fight.

Valerie was about too much on her piece of chicken when some tomato hit her as she gave a playful smirk. "Oh no you did not." She said as she joined the food fight as well.

Fishlegs meanwhile was staying out of it and was busy feeding Fishmeat. For some reason he had put the baby dragon in a small chair and was feeding him with a small spoon.

"Good Fishmeat." Fishlegs said.

Fishmeat then ate the food and the spoon completely.

Raeda just stayed out of the food fight, caught an apple that flew by her and munched on it. "Nice try," She mumbled before a biscuit hit her on the gob and she gave a playful murderous look, "Alright, this means war!" She declared, before joining in.

Gobber just shook his head and a split second later food slammed into his face.

"Ugh! Thor help us," Gobber groaned as he wiped the food off his face. He then turned to both Hiccup and Astrid and pulled them towards him. "Time to stop worrying about problems out there…"

"Gobber…" Astrid groaned trying to break free of his grip.

Gobber held onto the two of them tightly. "…and start sorting out the ones right here."

Hiccup, unfortunately, found himself face-to-face with Gobber's armpit and he was finding it particularly difficult to breathe.

"Okay, okay. I-I'll think about it," said Hiccup's muffled voice.

"Hang up those saddles and get married," Gobber pleaded.

Almost immediately everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at Gobber as if he had just cursed Odin himself.

"Did he just say…" Valerie said in shock.

"The "m" word," Tuffnut breathed.

"Gross," Ruffnut said. "Unless it's me." She admitted as she then tossed up a pie and hit it in her brother's face.

"Gobber, seriously." Hicca groaned from Gobber from embarrassing her twin brother. She herself had to endure this when he suggested the same for her and Henry.

"Be glad he isn't embarrassing us this time." Henry muttered to her quietly as she nodded in agreement, knowing that Gobber was as pushy about them marrying as he was with Hiccup and Astrid.

Gobber had eased up on the headlock that Hiccup was in and he was taking a few deep breaths.

"Start ruling like a proper royal couple," Gobber continued and then turned to Astrid and pulled Hiccup back into his armpit. "Marry him, please. You're the only one with any sense around here. With you wearing the pants, there's still hope." He told her.

"Wow!" Astrid said, finally breaking free of him. "Gobber… Not awkward at all."

She then promptly left the table with her food and Gobber released Hiccup to go after her.

"Astrid, don't be like that," Gobber pleadingly said.

Hicca then turns to her brother, "You ever think he was this pushy with dad to marry mom?" She asked as Hiccup caught his breath.

"A better question, you think dad would've kept him on the island if he did?" Hiccup asked back.

Tuffnut then began to approach the Haddock twins as he spoke to Hiccup. "Whoa. That is a definitive no. Look, if you need a beard to cry on—" Hiccup then suddenly found his face being pulled into Tuffnut's beard. "—just lean on my shoulder and you can cry into my full, thick beard."

"Oh, thank you, Tuffnut," Hiccup's muffled in a sarcastic tone. "Thank you. So much."

"Hey, you want someone to cry on?" A familiar voice asked as they all turned to see three Berserkers, with a Triple Styke, Razorwhip and Boneknapper behind them. "Try coming to me."

"Dagur!" Hiccup said in surprise.

"Heather! Ragnar!" Hicca exclaims as well, seeing three of their friends/allies.

Dagur had changed his appearance over the years, his hair was a lot less ragged and messy, and had grown into a decent mullet going down to the base of his neck. His armor was similar to the one he wore during their battle with the Dragon Hunters only it was gold and the Skrill was replaced with a Triple Styke, he wore spiked shoulder pads, a belt with the Skrill symbol of the Berserker on it and on his back his ax.

Heather's appearance wasn't as major as her brother's. Her shoulder pads were more evened out and styled better, on her torso she wore a metal breast plate made from Razorwhip scales. The metal scales on her skirt were smoothed down with the Berserker symbol on the left side of it and on her back was her special custom made ax.

Ragnar's appearance was changed as well. He wore a brown bandana over his forehead, had skull shoulder pads, old rib cages over his arms and legs, and on the right side of chest he bore a badge with the Berserker emblem.

Hiccup and Dagur met and had a good hand grab while Hicca and Heather shared a sisterly hug, "Man, it's good to see you two again." Hiccup said as he shook Ragnar's hand next.

"It has been a while since we last saw each other from our last dragon rescue." Hicca added with a smile.

Dagur let out a heartful laugh, "Oh sister, I wouldn't miss a chance to join my fellow chief into the glorious fires of battle for all the mutton on Berserker Island!"

"Mala is looking after things back home while we're here." Heather explained to them, "So, is it too late to join the rescues yet."

"Cause we figure you might need some help." Ragnar finished with his arms crossed.

"Well, actually we just got back from one so…" Hicca trained off as Eret then at that moment arrived. He then promptly began to clear his throat, to let them know his presence.

"Eret, son of Eret!" said Hiccup, as He and Dagur turned to him. "What's the report?"

"You got something to tell us, Eret?" Hicca asked.

"Two more trapper barges spotted in the strait." Eret reported.

"So we go after them." Hiccup simply said.

"Looks like we arrived just in time." Dagur said eagerly.

"Guess we got lucky on not coming here for nothing other than hanging out." Ragnar said with a small smirk.

"You go on ahead without me, Midnight and I still need to get the latest batch of dragons settled in the stables." Hicca explained.

"I'll help out." Heather added as she and Dagur bumped wrists, "Give 'em Berserker style brother. And show those trappers how a true warrior fights, Ragnar"

Dagur let out his trademark laugh and charged outside to get ready as Ragnar followed after his chief. Hiccup shook his head in amusement before he saw Gobber looking at him and didn't look entirely surprised with Hiccup's response.

"What?"

"One day, you and your sister are gonna pick a fight you can't win, Hiccup." Gobber warned him.

"Yeah, uh maybe after we save this latest batch of dragons. See ya!" Hiccup said as he and Toothless, after giving Midnight a nuzzle, rushed out of the hall.

Gobber just sighed heavily and turned to Hicca, "I can't tell if I was talking to your brother or your father just now."

"Well, sometimes Hiccup and I can be just like our father when we can. And you know after what happened to dad and after our battle with Drago, we gotta do what we can to help the dragons and stop those who hurt them." Hicca stated, after the experience of losing their father and having their dragons controlled by Drago, they don't want to let that happen again to others or seeing other dragons become slaves or weapons, especially after nearly losing Midnight and Toothless.

Gobber just stared at her with a deadpan, "...I was wrong, I am talking to your father." He said, seeing Stoick stubbornness and determination in both Twins eyes.

He then turns and leaves as Hicca, Raeda and Heather chuckle. They then turned to see Astrid looking around worryingly.

"Is he gone?" Astrid asked.

"He's gone." Hicca answered as Heather gave her a thumbs up.

Astrid let out a sigh of relief as the four girls sat down, "Thank Thor," She said before turning to Hicca, "Hicca, you know I love your brother, but I'm not exactly sure I wanna take that kind of step in our relationship just yet."

"Hesitation? From the Astrid Hofferson?" Hicca asked in surprise.

Astrid then rubs her fingers together nervously, "It's just, well." She then sighs, "If I marry Hiccup then that makes me the new Chieftess."

"So? We've seen you be a leader before," Heather pointed out.

"Yeah, you've led the Dragon Riders when the Haddocks aren't around all the time." Raeda added.

"There's a difference between leading a team of Dragon rescuing hooligans and leading an entire island of Dragon people." Astrid reminded her, "All those big decisions, trying to please everyone at once, planning and designing our future. That's Hiccup's department, not mine."

Raeda then rubbed her chin, "Um, didn't Hiccup say something similar when my dad decided he was ready to lead?" She asked, reminding her of the time when Stoick was about to make Hiccup chief of Berk before they both went out to find new dragons and islands before they met Eret and found out about Drago.

"Yeah, I remember." Astrid said.

"Well now look at him," Hicca continued, "He's leading Berk just as good as dad ever did, if not better." She then made a smile that looked like she hated what she was about to say, "But when it comes to throwing his weight around, metaphorically speaking, getting people to listen and making the tough calls."

Astrid gave the same smile, "Yeah, I see your point."

"But when he has you, he's able to stand his ground and bring the people over to him." Heather explains, "You're a lot more important to Berk than you think Astrid, so maybe you should consider going forward with marriage."

"Plus, how else am I finally gonna call you 'sis'?" Hicca joked as the four laughed.

Astrid then turns to the girls, "Thanks girls." She said before looking over to Raeda with a sly grin, "So, Rae. How long before we can start calling you the new Mrs. Jorgenson?"

Raeda nearly choked on the apple she was eating from Astrid's words as she turned to her in embarrassment. "A-Aren't we talking about your wedding, Hofferson-soon-to-be-Haddock?!" She pointed out before gesturing to Hicca. "You should be asking that to Grimborn over there!" She added.

Hicca blushed deeply as she twitched an eye. "Hey, don't put me into this!" She called out in defense.

Heather gave a chuckle in amusement at them. "Oh wow, you three are really trying not to think when your boys will finally pop the question, huh?" She takes a sip of her drink.

"Oh, and what about you and a certain Boneknapper Rider? Should we start calling you Heather Keatson now?" Astrid joked with a slight smirk.

Heather then did a spit take from Astrid's joke as she coughed a bit from that as she took some breaths and gave the three a narrowed eye stare, "You know, this doesn't seem like how we should have this conversation." She said with a sharp glare.

"I agree, we should settle this like real lady warriors." Raeda added with a smirk.

"Shall we take this to the arena, my dears?" Hicca proposed in a lady-like tone.

"Loser get's her wedding planned first?" Astrid wagered.

"Deal." The four girls said in unison as they got up from their seats and exited the Great Hall while heading towards the Dragon Academy for a duel d to blow off some steam and decide who's wedding is getting planned first and who gets to be teased about it.

(Linebreak)

Meanwhile, far away from Berk, a huge armada of Dragon Trapper ships surrounded a small island of stone monuments. Then flying in on a strange looking airship craft of some kind appeared with a man wearing black leather clothing in it as 4 red and black Dragons carried it as they flew. And 2 others flew by them.

Soon, the 2 Dragons landed as then the 4 lowered the airship down to the ground as their master stepped off his airship.

The Dragons had a vicious appearance, their front legs are actually pincer like claws that can fold when walking. And have a Scorpion like tail with a long sharp stinger that can be brought out, and loaded with venom. And a row of lining armor plating on their backs, and retractable tusks on the lower jaw. And they have a mixed red and black coloration. Clearly a warning color. In addition to that, each dragon was wearing a strange metal collar on their heads with purple vials attached to them.

The Dragoon Trappers guarding the gates immediately positioned themselves and knocked their arrows and armed men surrounding the mysterious man and his dragons. Despite this they allowed him entry into their headquarters, meaning that he was expected.

"Deathgrippers." A Trapper whispered to another, recognizing the dragons and who this mysterious person is.

Inside the arena, Trappers were trying to pull all different kinds of dragons into cages and many of them were struggling. They were having a particularly hard time trying to corral a Rumblehorn, the mysterious man gave this no mind as he continued to walk into the arena.

Ever since Drago's defeat, the Trappers had lost their leader and their purpose. Ironically if Drago hadn't executed Krogan, he could have taken over. In his absence, three of Drago's most powerful Warlords took control over the Trappers and tried to continue his work, but the Haddock Twins and their Dragon Riders had been hampering their efforts.

One of them was known as Ragnar the Rock, a large and bulky man with a very short attention span. He was heavily armored, wore a fur cape and had a good number of tattoos over his arms.

Then there was Griselda the Grevious, she was a tall slim woman and extremely fierce. She wore a helmet and instead of horns it had what appeared to be antlers; it covered the upper half of her head and a piece of leather hanging down to her shoulder.

Next to him was Chaghatai Khan, a man far to the east and he stood out more than anyone else. He had much darker skin and was far much leaner than Ragnar. He had burning amber eyes and out of all the three warlords, he was serious and less stubborn.

"The Dragon Riders attacked us here…" Ivar said as he pleased a wooden boat on the map, "…Off the eastern strait."

Ragnar then immediately grabbed another boat and made it crash into Ivar's. "Nnneeaoowww, BOOM."

"Ragnar," Chaghatai warned.

"Um, sorry," Ragnar apologized.

"My dear warlords," A voice said behind them and they turned to find the mysterious man approaching them. He then removed his hood revealing his short gray hair. "How are your plans to conquer the world?"

"Ha-ha-ha! Grimmel, my old friend." Ragnar laughed. "Thank you for coming." He was then suddenly pounded by one of Grimmel's Deathgrippers when he got too close to his master.

"A year since your master's defeat, and no further along with your dragon army, I see," said Grimmel looking at them with disappointment while clearly showing no regret for the loss of Drago.

"You can thank the young chief of Berk and his healer for that," Griselda said bitterly.

"Stoick's infants?" Grimmel asked as he played with one of the model ships on the map.

Ragnar was still trying to free himself from the Deathgripper which was now dribbling on him. "Yuck!" He then looked at Grimmel. "They and their peace-loving Dragon Riders continue to raid our ships and steal our dragons."

"Not only that, but their allies have been hampering our every effort outside of Berk's borders," Chaghatai added. "The Outcasts attackers from the East, the Berserkers in the North and the Defenders of the Wing in the West. Not to mention the Wingmaids are guarding the Dragon Rookery." He listed out the recents attacks the Dragon Riders and their allies had on them when they were rescuing dragons.

Grimmel chuckled slightly. "Mmm. That does sound like a nuisance." He then tossed the wooden boat back onto the map and walked off. "But I'm in the business of killing dragons, not retrieving them."

He walked past his Deathgripper and snapped his fingers and it released Ragnar. Griselda was about to draw her sword, but Chaghatai stopped her and Ragnar immediately rushed over towards him to reason with him.

"Those idiotic twins have done all of the work for you, gathering the dragons in one place. Why bother me?" Grimmel questioned why they needed him.

"Because the flock is protected by not just one, but two Night Furies," Chaghatai smirked, only listing out Toothless and Midnight since their children are best kept safe and secret, something the Trappers don't know about.

Grimmel stopped in mid step, shock on his face but only for a second, "Not possible." He denied.

Chaghatai then lets out a mocking chuckle, "Well, it seems your little 'miracle maker' managed to slip two more past your fingers." He sneered, which made Grimmel clenched his fist at the mention of this 'miracle maker'.

Ragnar then approached Grimmel gently. "Look, Berk's dragons will follow the Alphas, so we'll pay you to capture them and bring the flock to us. We even have a pair of your favorite bait." he sang, gesturing to a cage.

Grimmel looked at the cage and noticed the pure white creature inside it and a smaller one huddling close.

"The only dragons they left us from last night's raid." Chaghatai explains as Grimmel recognized this particular species.

"A mother and hatching?" Grimmel asked interested as the mother dragon pulled her baby in close, both feeling afraid. Grimmel glanced around, as if suspecting there was another dragon around, "Where is the father?" He asked the warlords, knowing that this dragon species had both parents raise the young together.

Griselda just let out a dark chuckle, "Oh don't worry. He's taking a nice long rest, at the bottom of the ocean." She said as Grimmel just raised a brow and shrugged it off, as if it didn't matter.

"Well, even without him, these two will do nicely." Grimmel simply said as the mother dragon cuddled her cub close to her as she glared and snarled at the humans through her muzzle, both were terrified and sad by the death of the female's mate because of the Trappers when they captured them.

But the mother was mostly enraged by these horrible people.

"So, do we have a deal, old friend?" Ragnar asked, extending his hand.

But just before Grimmel could give an answer, suddenly without warning the Rumblehorn the Trappers had been trying to corral to escape from its chains and charge towards them. The Warlords immediately jumped out of the way, but Grimmel didn't move an inch and had his back turned on it.

It gets agitated and breaks free from its chains. It charges towards the Warlords who run out of the way.

"Watch out!" Chaghatai yelled.

Grimmel then calmly spun around and aimed his crossbow at the rampaging dragon. He pulled the trigger and a dart fired at the crossbow and struck the Rumblehorn, penetrating its hard high and within seconds it collapsed and skidded across the ground towards Grimmel

"When all this is said and done, the Haddocks will bring me their Night Furies," Grimmel said as he turned around, removing his foot from beneath the Rumblehorn's head and walked off. "They don't have a leader or a healer, just a boy and a girl."

"I wouldn't underestimate them," Chaghatai warned. "Those twins have done more harm to our operation than anyone else before. They killed a Red Death, destroyed Viggo Grimborn's black dragon market operation, humiliated Krogan and his flyers, revealed Johann's identity to the world and then took down Drago and his Bewilderbeast."

Grimmel just turned towards him. "You see two unstoppable twins at the helm of the great ship, but all I see are mere infants riding the dinghy in a fierce storm. They will yield to me or they will die along with their beloved dragons." He promised with an evil smile. "And this time, I will not let my twin save these beasts before I get to them first." He added as he gave them a mean glare at the thought of his twin stopping him from completing his goal.

And then on the top of the arena, a hooded figure in shedded dragon scales glared down at the Trappers, having heard of their plan as the figure glared mostly at Grimmel.

"I will not let that monster get to those dragons. I have to stop this and save them, including those people of Berk and their dragons." The figure whispered to his/herself before turning to the poor white dragons, wishing he/she could help them and the others dragons, but couldn't, not yet. "I'll come back for you, I promise." The figure said as he/she then went down the arena and outside as his/her dragon was waiting, which revealed to be a Night Fury. "Come now, my friend. We must head to Berk and warn them about what's coming. Because they don't know what's about to come." He/she said to her dragon, who purred in response as he/she got on it and took to the skies as they secretly flew out of range and sight of the Trappers and Grimmel as they flew straight to where Berk is to warn them what's coming.
