A/N: Hey, everyone. One of my readers was nice enough to warn me that this site might be cracking down on these kinds of stories again and was worried it would be taken down. So this seems like a good time to remind anyone who doesn't know that everything that I post on this site I've also posted over on Ao3. If anything, I post more stories over there then here because their tagging system allows me to properly warn readers about what they might find and I'll be the first to admit that some of the things I write are not for everyone. So if you want to read more of my work and haven't gone there before, check it out. And if anything does happen to this site, nothing will be lost.

Chapter 8

Jaune failed to answer either woman, eyes flickering between the two with mounting horror. Looking closer at the pair, his newest wife was dressed much more casually than the other night, back in her glasses and wrapped in a fluffy purple robe. Whereas Pyrrha had arrived outside her uniform, dressed in simple but flattering blue jeans and a fitted pale blouse. Empty plates had been pushed aside, showing the redhead had been around long enough to eat an entire meal while he slept.

Sleep-addled, Jaune made the mistake of freezing beneath their stares as if he were faced with the fabled Grimmasaurous Rex rather than two adult women. But despite his best attempts, they could still see him no matter how little he moved. It wasn't until he stopped and looked at the scene before him that he felt cautious optimism.

Sweeping his eyes over the cozy apartment dorm, nothing appeared destroyed. More importantly, his wives didn't look very upset at each other's presence, calmly sharing the table he and Glynda had eaten at during their date. And best of all, he was still alive! Granted, they could have wanted to wait until he was awake to finish him off, but that still gave him a fighting chance…

Allowing himself to exhale, the young blond decided to focus on his first wife. Glynda already knew about Pyrrha before they'd slept together, so he shouldn't worry about her as much. But as soon as she felt his gaze, Pyrrha merely offered the same blinding smile he enjoyed every morning before she nodded toward the stove.

"There's breakfast if you're hungry," the redhead informed. "And don't worry about Ren and Nora. I already told them what was happening and rescheduled our brunch for tomorrow morning."

Right, brunch. Jaune had forgotten about that entirely. Luckily Pyrrha hadn't been as distracted. Of course, that meant two more people knew about his unlikely marriage. But by this point, Jaune was surprised to realize he didn't have the mental strength to care about that right now. Besides, they were his teammates, and it wasn't like he could have kept it from them for long.

Relaxing ever so slightly, the blond focused on the food and acknowledged that he was pretty hungry. Unless the food had been poisoned? But…no. Pyrrha wouldn't need to resort to that. If she wanted him dead, she could have murdered him several times since he'd walked into the room.

With no other choice but to keep standing around awkwardly, Jaune purposefully hid his back from the two women as he crossed the room toward the kitchen. Finding a plate on the counter, he blindly fumbled with spatulas and food, not bothering to look at what he was grabbing. Giving each woman one last glance, he dared to approach the table, swallowing against his throat the entire time.

But for all his theatrics, neither appeared confused or concerned, calmly sitting at the table and waiting for him to join them with patient stares. This is why, hearing Glynda's sudden cough, Jaune nearly jumped through the ceiling, not unlike a frightened cat.

Inches from taking his seat, Jaune regarded the other blonde with wide, frantic eyes. His panic only made his teacher's unaffected stare all the more frustrating. At least until he recognized the raised eyebrow that she'd pointed in his direction.

'No,' Jaune mentally shook his head, feeling sweat on his forehead. 'She can't really expect me to…not here!' But the longer he stared at her, Glynda's expression did not flinch. Even after he sent a frantic glance toward Pyrrha, his professor's expectations didn't change, waiting for him to act.

Jaune's mouth opened, ready to speak up and explain why that was a bad idea, only to realize that he had no such excuses. Stopped short, he had no choice but to swallow his rejection, set his plate down, and stiffly walk the two steps over to Glynda's side of the table. The blonde teacher's face rose expectantly, and Jaune was helpless to do anything but bend over and press his lips against hers in a good morning kiss.

The soft touch of Glynda's mouth was as delightful as ever, but nerves kept the young man from enjoying it. He was hyper-aware of Pyrrha's eyes on the display and attempted to pull back before the redhead could be offended.

Glynda had other plans. Laying a hand on his shoulder, she would decide when she'd had enough, holding him against her face until instinct kicked in and Jaune felt himself lean into her embrace. All worries about Pyrrha vanished as he allowed himself to enjoy the morning perfume of his teacher and wife.

The two lasted half a minute before Jaune tried to pull away again, and this time Glynda allowed it. Jaune looked down, thrilled by the small smile he'd left on her lip, which she quickly hid behind a sip of coffee.

"For the record," Glynda intoned, "that is how I expect to be greeted in the morning." Jaune answered with a dizzy smile, wondering what he had been so worried about.

Oh, right. Pyrrha…

The reminder was as sharp as it was terrible. Except, when he whipped around to measure his first wife's reaction to watching her husband kiss another woman, Jaune was shocked to see her smiling at them, undeniably delighted by their display. "I think I like that rule," the redhead giggled, fluttering her eyelashes at her husband. The invitation was so obvious that even Jaune couldn't miss it. So despite his disbelief at how the morning had turned, he still made the same journey to Pyrrha to repeat the affectionate gesture.

He could still feel a hint of Glynda's saliva on his lips when he bent over to kiss another woman. But Pyrrha didn't appear to mind the wet sensation in the slightest, melting against him in the same way she did every morning. That, more than anything, helped sooth the worst of his fears. And allowed to enjoy the kiss, he gave his partner the same treatment he'd showered on Glynda, letting their kiss linger until he felt her smile against him.

Well, that was one way to start the morning.

Pyrrha eventually pulled away with a content sigh, freeing Jaune to collapse into his seat. Glancing toward his plate, his stomach roared at the options of eggs, bacon, and a pancake. The sight was enough to distract him from everything else for a few seconds. Glynda had certainly worked up his appetite after a night like yesterday. Lifting his fork, however, he couldn't ignore the questions still nagging in the back of his head.

Everyone else appeared fine, acting like everything was perfectly normal, but he couldn't relax until they addressed the elephant in the room.

"Pyrrha," Jaune coughed his first word since waking up. Putting his fork down, he turned to regard his wife, catching the curious tilt of her head at her name. "It's great seeing you! But, um, I didn't know you would be dropping by?"

Pyrrha grinned at him, but it was Glynda that answered the implied question. "That would be my doing," the teacher admitted, enjoying another sip from her mug. "I know a bit about Pyrrha through her records and what little I've observed from the classroom, but I thought it would be appropriate if we were to get to know each other more personally now that we share the same husband."

The younger woman nodded emphatically before continuing, "It's been wonderful. We didn't think you would sleep so long, but it gave us so much time to talk."

Warning signs lit up Jaune's brain like a bulkhead dashboard. He didn't know why, but the idea of these two women talking in his absence made him very nervous. An emotion that was exacerbated when both of his wives glanced at each other, sharing a knowing look and a smile.

'Were they talking about me?' Jaune jumped to the first conclusion, only to immediately regret it. 'Wait, no. That's just being paranoid…not to mention self-centered. I'm sure they had plenty to discuss that didn't include me, right?' Unfortunately, Pyrrha picked that moment to giggle, seeing his worried face. And Glynda's eyes were practically glimmering over her mug.

'R-Right?'

"Enough about that," Pyrrha suddenly turned on Jaune, her expression admonishing. "I think the better question is why you didn't tell me yesterday that you took another wife." Jaune floundered, finally facing the recrimination he had been expecting. Except even now, Pyrrha didn't look angry, merely confused.

Opening his mouth, he realized he couldn't tell her the truth. That he had been hoping Pyrrha would never find out about Glynda and that he'd only gone on their date to get his ring back. Every ounce of that plan had fallen out the window as soon as his now second wife took off her dress.

Instead, he put on his best smile, looked Pyrrha in the eye…and lied. He lied right to her face. "I wanted it to be a surprise?"

You know, now that he was married, he really should learn to lie better. Except, he must be better than he thought because Pyrrha's face immediately brightened back to its familiar shade of endearment. She always did see the best in him. To a fault, it would seem.

Glancing over at Glynda, her green eyes met his for a moment. She at least knew the truth. And she didn't appear inclined to share it any time soon, much to Jaune's relief.

"Well, it was a surprise," Pyrrha acknowledged, "a wonderful one. I've only gotten to know Glynda for an hour or so, but I can already tell she will be a wonderful wife for our family."

"Thank you for being so welcoming," Glynda nodded toward the younger woman. "The feeling is absolutely mutual."

They were being so amicable. Jaune almost couldn't believe it. "You really don't mind?" he pushed. He had to push, if he was going to understand. "There's no part of you that's upset that I married Glynda?"

Pyrrha blinked at him like she couldn't understand the question. "Is that why you're acting so strange? What would make you think I would be upset?"

"Um," Jaune's eyebrows drew together, "I married Glynda…when I was already married to you. Most wives get upset when their husbands do things like that." But logic had never worked against Pyrrha before, so why should she start now?

"Well, I don't know what these other women are talking about, but I couldn't be happier." The smile she showed him was honest, infecting her green eyes with gleaming joy. "You've made our family a little bigger and filled it with more love. Who could be upset about that?"

That was an argument, Jaune supposed. Nevertheless, he nodded his head, more convinced than ever that his earlier assumption had been correct and his semblance had a hand in controlling his wifes' reactions. Thankfully, he didn't need to guess anymore. Not when Glynda had her unique insight into the inner workings of his power. And when he turned his head enough to peek in her direction, she was already watching him. Almost like she had been expecting him to ask.

"I feel the same way," she confirmed. "I still love you and will continue to. Seeing you with Pyrrha evoked no jealousy on my part. Or any negativity at all, for that matter. If anything, I can see how happy she makes you, and I can't help but feel grateful that she is here with us. And before you ask, yes, I am confident this is another symptom of your semblance since I certainly would not have entertained such a relationship before yesterday."

Jaune took a moment to let that sink in, relaxing in his chair. At least that was one concern he didn't need to worry about. Taking Glynda on had been a selfish decision that he might have regretted if it made Pyrrha resent him. But as far as he could tell, the two women were becoming fast friends, and he was so relieved.

Curious, he peeked at Pyrrha, wondering if she noticed Glynda mentioning his semblance. But just like every time he tried, any words concerning his ability or the rings seemed to pass right over her head. Green eyes flickering between the two blondes, she merely looked like someone hearing an inside joke from the outside.

"You don't need to worry. She can't be upset by talking about your semblance." Glynda spoke up, seeing his hesitation. "I spent some time testing her while you were asleep. And as best as I can tell, while she can hear the words whenever someone talks about your semblance, she can't understand them. I imagine you might have a similar reaction if someone spoke to you about the mathematical formulas of dust propulsion."

Jaune stared at his teacher, a slow blink marking just how much he understood about what she'd said.

Glynda nodded with approval. "Exactly. You have no point of reference to grasp the words beyond their sounds. And those fade quickly without an anchor. You've no other option but to sit there and smile, waiting for the topic to change to more familiar matters."

Her gaze switched to Pyrrha as she continued. "Pyrrha is much the same whenever she is directly confronted with her condition. Her mind simply can't process the information that she is being influenced and that you are responsible. However, the effects of your semblance are…slightly more adaptable to her interpretation."

Jaune perked up at that news, never more grateful for Glynda's strange immunity to the confusion his semblance inflicted on women. Even with Pyrrha's support on so many other things, he had been desperately isolated in that regard, unable to talk about it with his wife and too scared to bring it up to anyone else. He still had so many questions, things he didn't understand, and Glynda's intelligence and experience with developing semblances were a godsend.

Looking back at Pyrrha, the blond decided to go a little further and see how accepting his first wife was of their family's addition. "And me and Glynda having sex last night, that doesn't bother you?"

His wife's answer was to shrug as if it was the most natural thing in the world. "It was your wedding night," she reminded him, "I think I would have been bothered if you hadn't slept together. Healthy relationships need some level of physical intimacy." Her cheeks flushed ever so slightly at the admission.

"And did Glynda tell you that we were trying for a baby last night?" He looked her dead in the eye, searching for the slightest flinch. "It's fairly likely she's going to get pregnant soon if she isn't already. You're not bothered that she'll have my kids before you do?"

But if he was expecting her to fly into a violent rage at the news, Pyrrha surprised him yet again when her pleasant smile transformed into enthusiastic joy. "Glynda did mention it!" the younger woman practically squealed, "I'm so excited for us. I really do wish you two the best of luck."

Jaune's shock must have read on his face if Pyrrha's laughter was any indication. "What?" she asked, eyebrows raised. "Did you think I would want you both to wait? I already told you about my dream. A big house with a bigger family full of love. This is just the first step in that direction. Glynda might be the one who gives birth, but I fully intend to love this child as if it were my own. And I know Glynda will do the same when it's our turn to add to our family."

The smile Pyrrha offered her co-wife could have melted ice caps were it weaponized. Glynda, while not as expressive, nodded in agreement.

"Pyrrha is correct. I still hope to have more than one child before the option is taken from me. But I've found comfort knowing, should that time come, I'll have more children to look forward to from your other wives."

Other wives. Wives. Plural? Shooting a sharp glance in her direction, Glynda met his gaze, staring back critically.

His other rings were still under his bed back in his room. After the incident in Glynda's office, Jaune realized how dangerous it was to keep them on him at all times. So far, it looked like all it took was a glance to tempt women into wearing the mind-controlling devices, and he didn't need any more accidents popping up.

Of the five he'd started with, there were three left. This meant there were still three wives he could potentially add to his…harem? No, his family. That he could add to his family. As much as he enjoyed sex with these women, he cared about their hearts just as much as what could be found between their legs.

However, did that mean he was ready to take on three more women? He'd only added a second, and he already felt like he was in way over his head. Then again, as he looked back and forth between the two beautiful women and remembered how they looked and felt in bed, adding three more didn't sound like so much of a chore. The question was whether he could love that many women as they deserved.

"You guys…want me to marry more women?" Jaune shook his head, trying not to let the future daunt his present. "Is that even legal?" Surely not. Not that such a small detail had stopped them so far. Pyrrha told everyone she was his wife, but they had never done any paperwork. Never went down to city hall and made it official.

"Yes," Glynda retained her bluntness in the face of Jaune's distress. "Another side effect of these rings, I'm sure. But not only do we accept that you'll find three more, I can feel an expectation lingering in the back of my mind." Her eyebrows drew together as she concentrated on the impulse. "I can't explain it well, but it almost feels like our family is incomplete. And the only way to fix that is to help you find the rest of your wives."

Glynda's expression calmed as she let her mind relax. Even with her insight and clarity, she didn't appear upset by the ring's influence to help her husband collect more women. Her love for him would never falter. And that was all she cared about.

Meanwhile, if Glynda merely accepted the inevitable additions, Pyrrha appeared downright enthusiastic about the idea of adding more wives to their family. "There doesn't need to be any rush," she compromised, "but I think more wives would be good for our family."

"And as for the legality of the matter," Glynda continued, "there is a precedent for this situation, actually." Jaune was immediately taken aback by this information, and even Pyrrha curiously tilted her head, eagerly listening as their teacher explained, "It's not talked about often, but during the founding of Vale, certain laws were put into place meant to…facilitate a healthy population. And men who were strong enough to fight Grimm as a career, what we would consider huntsman nowadays, were legally permitted to take on more than one wife."

Jaune's jaw dropped. He'd never heard anything about this. But then, who else would know this information better than a teacher in a huntsmen academy?

"How many wives?" Jaune resigned himself to ask. And when Glynda tilted her head, he clarified, "you said they were allowed to take more than one wife. How many wives could they marry?" As if he didn't know the answer.

Glynda still confirmed his suspicion after a hesitant pause. "Up to five."

"I'm surprised that was never repealed," Pyrrha admitted, sounding as mystified as Jaune felt.

"It was," their teacher admitted, her eyes shifting, "in a way." And when silence greeted her, the older woman put on a sigh, knowing that she wasn't going to get away with such a half-answer.

"While never officially stricken from Vale's code of laws, a civilian equality movement some two hundred years ago pointed out the preferential treatment that huntsmen were receiving. Back then, the threat of those with aura abusing their power was all too real without our current checks and balances, and there was a constant conflict between ensuring that the people's protectors did not become their gods.

"That was never the intention, of course. Those in charge simply saw the benefits of breeding strength. But the backlash was enough to convince the lawmakers at the time to heavily discourage the practice. Not many took advantage of it in the first place, so it wasn't seen as a great loss. And before long, it fell out of the public eye. The only reason I know is that familiarity with huntsman-related laws is part of my job as deputy headmistress. And even then, Bartholomew could tell you much more about the events surrounding the practice's creation and eventual taboo. My understanding is quite surface level in comparison."

Jaune couldn't believe his ears. There was no way this was happening. His semblance was strange enough before he knew that it had tailored itself to function within the laws of his country.

What if he had grown up in Atlus? Vacuo? Would his power have manifested differently, or was this some cosmic joke at his expense? What if he had been born into a culture without marriage? Would his women have become slaves?

Jaune started rubbing his temples. "So, you mean to tell me that if the three of us walked into a courthouse tomorrow…"

"We would be legally married in the eyes of Vale as soon as they filed the marriage license with the city registry." Glynda finished. "And, in fact, I'm going to suggest it. The licenses may be pieces of paper, but it'll be beneficial in the long run if there are no questions about our relationship."

"And Jaune will still qualify even though he's still in training?" Pyrrha worried.

"The wording is vague enough that I believe we can get away with it," Glynda nodded. "Status as a huntsmen in training is a newer construct and wasn't considered when making laws back then. Many of the rules were altered when it became a distinction, but no one thought to include this law in any of the official revisions."

Which meant there was nothing standing in his way from collecting three more women and spending the rest of his life in wedded "bliss."

Neither Pyrrha nor Glynda said anything for a while, allowing Jaune to stew in silence. He didn't look upset, which was good. But the news had come as a shock. Second only to the implications of his semblance. And on top of it all, they still expected him to go out with other women.

"I'm not sure I'm comfortable cheating on you guys like that," he eventually huffed. It certainly wasn't how he pictured marriage growing up. If his father had so much as hinted at interest in another woman, his mother would have strung him up by his balls, huntsman or not. Which is nothing to say about what his sisters would have done.

Thinking about his family, Jaune missed the shift in demeanor as Pyrrha's pleasant smile vanished and Glynda's eyes hardened into ice. The older woman's tone finally managed to make him aware of his mistake. "That's fortunate," the blonde mused. "I would have hated to have become a widow so soon into our marriage."

Flinching back at the threat, Jaune's fear spiked once he looked at the redhead, only to see the same face she had shown Weiss in the arena. "I won't even bother making it look like an accident."

"B-But you both just said-!" Jaune held up his hands in surrender, desperately defending himself.

"Not that you were allowed to sleep with other women," Glynda huffed, pouting slightly at his mistake.

"So," Jaune repeated, thinking his words through before cautiously asking, "you want me to date and marry other women, but I'm not allowed to sleep with any of them?"

Pyrrha answered this time, once again smiling at her lover. "Only until you're married," she laughed, "Then it's fine! Sleeping with your wives is natural. And it would be selfish of me and Glynda to try and keep you to ourselves. Of course, we'll be happier when you choose to spend time with us, but not at the expense of your other wives. We trust you to love us equally and not show any favoritism."

"That-," doesn't make any sense? But when had his semblance ever behaved like Jaune expected it to?

Shaking his head, Jaune decided to just add this note to the ever-expanding list of rules his semblance seemingly drew from at random. Not like it was so much of a sacrifice. Between Pyrrha and Glynda, he didn't need more women. For sex or otherwise. As long as he had them, he wouldn't have to worry about going to bed alone ever again.

Instead, it sounded like he would have to worry about sleeping with one too much over the other. And wasn't that nice to stress over? Maybe he should set up some kind of sleeping chart? Or he could try scheduling his nights on a calendar. Ugh, everything would be so much easier if they could all…just…

Jaune sat up in his chair abruptly, looking between his wives with cautious optimism. It was hardly appropriate, especially after everything they'd talked about. But it was because of the weight of the topics that he desperately needed something to help lessen his stress. And if his wives were so comfortable cooperating, maybe they would be interested in helping him relax together?

Pyrrha was the first to notice his excitement, becoming curious. Glynda, far more used to the machinations of teenage boys, adopted a far more cautious approach. Meanwhile, Jaune focused on keeping his smile from getting too big, careful not to scare the ladies before he could get a word out.

But his efforts were for naught after Glynda lost her patience. "I do not like the face you're making."

Across from the other woman, Pyrrha nodded in agreement despite the laughter she was fighting. "It usually means he's about to do something silly. It's really funny."

Once again, Jaune found himself holding up his hands in supplication. "All I'm asking is that you hear me out," he begged, stopping further criticism. Falling silent, both women waited with varying expressions, forcing Jaune to explain, "I was just thinking that it would make a lot more sense if we all shared a bed together." Glynda's expression took on an immediate knowing dryness that Jaune could feel in his throat. "In the interest of keeping things fair, of course!"

Part of him waited for their rejection, like the word "no" had already been cast into the air, and he was simply counting the seconds until it reached his ear. But several breaths passed without a sound, forcing Jaune to realize his wives were patiently waiting for him to continue.

Jaune jumped at the chance, a little more confident this time. "It's a good idea, right? It would be better than bouncing between beds every other night. This way, we can all stay together as one big happy family, and I can make sure everyone gets as much attention as they want."

His anxious expression fell away to a mask of calm. Inside, however, it felt like his blood had been replaced by carbonized energy drink. So basically, how Ruby lived every day.

Okay, maybe this was a little dirty of him. But if he had the chance to enjoy both of his wives in the same bed, he would take it! What else was he supposed to do with two women? Unfortunately for him, their expressions hadn't changed despite his compelling persuasion. The dry and unamused air made it clear that they could see the root of his intentions, and neither was impressed.

Breaking their stares to regard each other for a long moment, both appeared content to let their husband stew in awkward silence. It did the trick, and Jaune's dread swelled with every beat of his heart until the two women allowed a spark of amusement to infect their heavenly features. Jaune stopped breathing, daring not to hope.

"I supposed I'm not opposed to the idea," Glynda supplied after she had her fun. Jaune's head snapped in her direction like she was the rising sun. "My dorm does provide quite a bit more privacy than you two are likely used to, so it doesn't make sense to make you two walk all the way back to the student building. And my bed is certainly equipped to hold all of us."

Pyrrha chipped in next, earning the same jerk and smile from her husband as she blushed prettily. "I also think it's a good idea. I can't normally last as long as Jaune before I tire out, and I'll feel a little less guilty if Glynda is there to have a turn."

Finally, both women offered their versions of a smile, leaving Jaune to practically vibrate in his seat. Jaune…never expected them to actually agree. He was going to have a threesome? 'I take back every bad thing I've ever said,' he cheered silently. 'I have the best semblance in the world, and no one can tell me otherwise.'

Regarding both women, he could already picture them in bed together. Their unique shapes and smooth skin, each laid out for him to enjoy. Kissing one woman while his hands traced and explored the other. Maybe he could even touch them both while they kissed each other?

Jaune's cock shot up to attention at the mental image of his red-haired wife locking lips with the much older woman. Unfortunately, Glynda killed the fantasy as if she could see his intentions as they stewed in his perverted mind.

"However," Glynda's wry tone cut in, "just because I don't mind sharing you at the same time, I hope you don't expect us to become involved with each other." And seeing the hand in the cookie jar expression from her seventeen-year-old husband, Glynda merely sighed at the misfortune she had willingly brought upon herself.

"I will only explain this one time," the blonde's teacher persona leaked through as she pinned the guilty young man with her gaze. "When I told you your semblance instilled an initial fondness of Pyrrha, I meant in a friendly sense. I would even go so far as to call our bond sisterly. However, I feel no romantic or sexual interest in her. Or any woman, for that matter."

Jaune's disappointment was visible but respectful. He didn't complain or try to convince his second wife to change her mind. A threesome was still a threesome, and it would be a cold day in hell before he felt anything but excitement surrounding the act.

So preoccupied with each other, both blondes failed to notice Pyrrha's blush as she quietly sat in her chair. Her green eyes peeked shyly at the older woman before focusing on her twiddling thumbs, desperately trying to distract herself from the conversation.

"Well," Jaune leaned forward, happily cutting his losses, "if that's all settled, what would my two beautiful wives say about celebrating our new family with some vigorous and sexy trust exercises?" Waggling his eyebrows provocatively, he got the reactions he had been hoping for. Namely, Pyrrha's amused giggle and Glynda's quiet exasperation threatening to roll her eyes toward the back of her head.

"I can't speak for Pyrrha," Glynda crossed her arms, "but I'd say you still need to wash up after our last encounter before you have any hope of enjoying a second." Confused, Jaune looked down at himself and finally recognized the sticky residue clinging to his skin. Some of it was his sweat; some had to be Glynda's. But the rest, who could say?

Pyrrha spoke for herself just fine and sided with the older woman. "You're a little musty. Nothing too bad! But I would appreciate it if you took a quick shower first. And then, when you finish, we'll be waiting for you."

The words were innocent enough, but the color in Pyrrha's face exposed what she had in mind. Jaune was taken aback by her eagerness, but maybe she had missed him the other night more than she had let on.

Jaune considered his wife's offer for exactly two seconds, imagining himself walking into Glynda's bedroom fresh out of the shower and finding these two women naked, and waiting for him in bed to jump in. He decided the question didn't warrant a response, standing up, stripping out of his boxers at the table, and all but jumping toward the bathroom.

His wives watched him leave, equal parts amused and delighted by his antics, allowing their gaze to linger on his tight butt before it disappeared behind the closed door. Turning toward each other, they reached a silent agreement as they rose to start toward the blonde's bedroom, already shedding their clothes every step of the way.

A/N: I hope you all enjoyed a little more insight into Jaune's semblance as much as that devilish cliffhanger. I am sorry to disappoint those wishing for a little more drama or catfighting from this chapter, but it felt like unnecessary drama that didn't fit the story's themes. At least, not between these two wives. I feel like it's a lot more interesting to focus on the external conflict that will occur from outside the family due to Jaune's actions. It also didn't feel like it made sense for Jaune's semblance to openly create hostility inside its fostered environment. This will come up later, but cooperation within the Arc family is kind of important for how it works, which will make its own conflict later.

Unfortunately, I did need to end the chapter here since the next sex scene is another two-parter, and word length constraints are a thing. That said, I am continuing to find success with this update style. Just so there is total transparency, as I post chapter 8, I'm a little over halfway through writing chapter 12, and I've just finished the outline for chapter 15. You guys wouldn't believe how much it helps me to have weeks between writing and editing so I can look at my chapters with a fresh eye and make improvements I didn't think of initially. Writing week to week was much more stressful, and I often got sick of looking at my chapters by the time they got to edits. Suffice to say, I am much happier with the quality I am producing and I can't tell you how good it feels to have consistent updating and writing for the first time since I started posting. Thank you all again for your patience.

Chapter 9 will be up in two weeks, as usual, and will focus on a wonderful threesome scene as hot as it is tender. And for those of you that were upset to see Glynda shoot down any girl on girl action when it was brought up, let me confirm that girl on girl scenes will be occurring throughout the story. However, how much and how far they go will depend on the individual women involved and how comfortable/interested they are in that kind of thing.

If you liked what you read, I'd love to hear it. And if that's too much work, Kudos are also a nice present. As much as you guys love seeing me update, I promise I love hearing from you more. Until next time.
