Title: Blazed and Confused

Continuing from last time, Vincent, after watching the news outside a TV store, had been wailing and feeling sorry for himself before deciding to go to the nearest restaurant to drown his sorrows in a combination of junk food and beer. Before leaving, he found himself being confronted by Orga, Clotho, and Shani of Blue Cosmos.

"Just who the hell are you three?" scowled Vincent, speaking pretty rudely.

"Hey, come on… Relax, why don't you," smirked Orga, looking rather unfazed, "My name's Orga Sabnak, and these two friends of mine are Clotho Buer and Shani Andras. We're elite duelists who got screwed out of a victory in the same tournament you were in."

"We're also people who can help you get back at the one person you despise the most," added Shani, who was the one who initially called out to Vincent in the first place, "If you would be so kind as to listen to what we have to say."

Vincent merely folded his arms and snorted, as though he didn't trust the three Bio-CPU boys. They each seemed very suspicious, and that was enough of a reason to not listen to either of them.

"Seriously, we can help you out," insisted Clotho, "What we have planned will ensure your enemy gets what he deserves, while you get all the satisfaction you crave for. What do you say?"

Would Vincent trust them? Could they help him get back at David for all of the humiliation he (David) inflicted upon him? At last, he spoke up…

"Alright, I'll listen to you guys, but this had better be good," warned Vincent.

The three Bio-CPU boys grinned, knowing that their plan was working thus far ('thus far' being the key word). With Vincent willing to listen to what they had in mind, Shani started laying out the proposition.

"We've heard that your enemy has a crush on the same duelist who defeated you in the first round of the tournament—Lisa Drake, if I'm not mistaken," he began, bringing up the hot-headed pink-haired girl, "We're trying to bring her onto our side."

Vincent huffed, "What for?"

"To teach her three friends a little lesson," replied Shani, "For this scheme to work, we need you to kidnap Lisa. This will definitely lure that David guy out. When he finds you, defeat him in a duel. From there, I'll sway Lisa to join us by defeating you and 'saving' her."

Vincent thought about it, thinking that the temptation to defeat David in a duel was far too good to pass up. Besides, in his eyes, his initial loss to David last time was by sheer, dumb luck on the part of robo-boy. Such a thing would never happen a second time. At last, he came to a decision on the offer given to him.

"When you put it that way… Fine, I'll help you three out," accepted Vincent, "However, there's just one small flaw in your plan there. What's to stop robo-boy from simply calling the police?"

"I've already thought of that possibility, too," smirked Shani, reaching into his jacket pocket and pulling out a black handgun, "This should take care of that problem."

Vincent, Clotho, and Orga each recoiled slightly in shock.

"Shani, what the hell are you thinking?!" exclaimed Orga.

"Seriously, don't you think that's a 'little' excessive?!" added Clotho, who, despite being pretty devious and such himself, drew the line at something like this.

"Relax, you guys," Shani responded, holding the handgun up slightly, "I bought this from the Airsoft Shop—it's totally fake."

When neither Clotho nor Orga said anything, Shani demonstrated by aiming the gun and pulling the trigger several times only for nothing to be fired from the barrel, and even detached the magazine to show it was indeed empty. This brought some relief to Vincent and the other two Bio-CPU boys.

"What's important is that it 'looks' real," continued Shani, handing the pistol to Vincent, "Even David Xadashi with all his brain power will blindly go along if he saw you pointing this at Lisa's head."

"Okay then," said Vincent, admiring the firearm for a few seconds before looking up whilst frowning, "And how should I go about nabbing the girl? From what I know about her, she's not exactly a spineless doormat, ya know."

"Again, we got it covered," Shani answered, as he handed Vincent a slip of paper with an address written on it, "From what we've overheard earlier, she and David are going out on a date tonight. So you just take out the cab driver who's bound to be picking her up and take her to this address. When you do that, call big brain down, threaten him and Lisa, kick his ass, then I'll swoop in at the very last minute and save Lisa. When that happens, she'll finally trust me and you'll have your revenge. We four will be happy to get what we want!"

"As for those two other guys who might try to interfere should they find out about the scheme, you can leave them to Orga and I," put in Clotho, likely referring to both Matt and Michael, "We have a score to settle with those bastards."

"Big time," agreed Orga sharply. He then took something out of his vest pocket (a small set of Duel Monsters cards) and handed them to Vincent, "Now then, Vincent, you'll need some new and powerful cards for your Deck. Lucky for you, I have just the ones."

Vincent grunted and took the cards, looking them over before growing interested over what they were. Some of the cards shown were Fusion Monster Cards known as 'Blaze Fenix, the Burning Bombardment Bird' and 'Ignition Beast Volcannon', and a third being a Synchro Monster Card called 'Ancient Flamvell Deity'.

"Headmaster Azrael always said to us that people who attend Blue Cosmos should only duel using the strongest cards and Decks available," The voice of Orga explained as Vincent took the cards with a blank look on his (Vincent) face, although it sounded more like bragging than an actual explanation. He (Orga) then cleared his throat and better explained the intentions of giving Vincent the cards, "We're lending you a bunch of these special cards for your upcoming duel. If you manage to defeat David and then let Shani win, you can keep them."

After looking over the new cards now in his hands, a sinister grin started to form on Vincent's face.

Later on outside a large hotel somewhere in upper Manhattan…

"Ngh… Why did I let them talk me into doing this?" The voice of Lisa grumbled from inside the building.

(inside…)

Inside the steaming bathroom of one of the hotel rooms, a naked Lisa was in the middle of taking a shower (with the steam from the hot water helping to cover up the most intimate of body parts). She never minded taking a shower, but this particular one was one she was mostly hating. The reason for it was because she would have to…get all girled up once she was out.

"Why couldn't they just let me wear what I 'want' to wear?" Lisa huffed to herself, while, in some frustration, letting the hot water soak her hair a little bit to get the soap out, "They know I hate having to look like a girly girl."

(outside…)

Outside the bathroom, steam soon stopped coming out, which meant the shower was turned off. Two minutes later, the door opened and Lisa, in her bra and panties and a towel wrapped around her wet hair, emerged. It was then Asagi, also in her bra and panties, approached. The good news about her was that the bandages were all gone, signaling she had healed up enough to have them removed. Currently, Mayura, Ms. Simmons, and Mr. Kisaka were each absent from the hotel room, while Juri was waiting inside one of the bedrooms to help out by fixing up Lisa's hair.

"All done?" asked Asagi.

"Yeah," sighed Lisa, "The shower's all yours."

"Great!" Asagi grinned in response, while Lisa listened with dread, "Before she stepped out, Mayura picked out your dress and heels; they're all waiting for you on the bed in your room along with Juri—who has volunteered to fix up your hair," She (Asagi) then playfully smacked her good friend's shoulder while walking by, "Good luck, Lisa!"

"I still don't see the need to get all dressed up," whined Lisa, "I like wearing casual clothes, thank you very much. If anyone saw me in a dress, they'd think I was a sissy!"

Asagi ignored that comment and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind her in the process. Lisa, despite hating the idea very much, then decided she would put up with getting all girled up for David's sake. Not only that, she had another idea for part of her makeover that she normally hated as well, but decided to go through with it.

"What the hell, it can't be any worse than wearing a dress and heels," groaned Lisa, before turning and knocking on the bathroom door, "Asagi, can I ask you for a favor?"

The door opened slightly after a few seconds, and Asagi silently poked her head out without showing her body below the shoulders (since she was now likely topless, but the door was able to cover her from the shoulders down), wondering what the favor was.

"Um…" said Lisa nervously, "Could I perhaps…borrow your makeup, just to make myself look more nice?"

Asagi merely blinked a couple of times, but then smiled in response.

(elsewhere…)

Meanwhile, inside the hotel room (of another hotel), a very jittery David was seated on the couch, holding a small glass of water that was in danger of splashing out due to his constant shaking.

"Lisa-chan… I'm going on a date with her…" muttered David fearfully, "This feeling in my heart… I've never experienced such prior to now… I'm so nervous!" Mentally, he was telling himself, "I should've anticipated this would occur; having built up my confidence to ask Lisa-chan out in the first place, now I've got none left for the actual event!"

"Relax, David," soothed Futaba, sitting down next to her son, "You'll be okay."

"But what if something goes wrong?" worried David, "What if I make a complete fool out of myself?"

"You just need to be yourself, sport," reassured Ren, standing nearby, "That's how your Mother fell in-love with me, you know."

Futaba rolled her eyes, but managed to crack a smile at her husband's little jest.

"Anyway," cut in Sean, who emerged from the kitchen with a large bowl of popcorn, "If it helps any, Lisa, despite her somewhat tsundere-like traits, obviously likes you a lot, so you should have nothing to worry about—that is, unless you make her mad, which you can easily…OUCH!"

The red-haired nerdy boy winced as Janice elbowed him on his side to shut him up.

"He doesn't need to be told about that," scolded Janice. She then spoke kindly to David, "Everything will be okay, Dave. You and Lisa will have a great time. Trust me."

Smiling, David nodded at his sweet friend. It was then he had a thought…

"Should I wear something nice like a suit?" thought David, "Hmm, perhaps not. From what I can probably tell about her, Lisa-chan likely isn't a fan of formal attire for such an occasion unless forced to."

Oh, how wrong he was about that…

(elsewhere…)

Back inside the hotel room (of another hotel) the Orb representatives were staying at, Lisa was shown inside her room finishing getting ready by applying her makeup (which she borrowed from Asagi) in-front of a small mirror. Juri had actually helped out by stylizing Lisa's hair shortly after that shower, and Mayura had also provided her with the perfect dress to wear on the date.

"Man, this took so much trial and error… And these heels are killing me," Lisa winced to herself, before finally finishing with her makeup, "Still, I'm finally done, now I need to just…" She then turned and looked into a much bigger mirror in delightful surprise, "Whoa! Is that…really me?"

The dark red dress Lisa Drake wore clung to her figure quite nicely while also showing a classy amount of cleavage, as well as her legs from the split at the side. The ruby red heels complimented her attire flawlessly and weren't hard to keep her balance on. Her long pink hair was perfectly stylized, and the makeup made her look absolutely stunning; rose red lipstick, light eyeshadow, mascara, and a thin coat of foundation.

"You know what?" Lisa said to no one in particular, "I actually pull this off quite well," She then gave a mischievous smirk and liddled her eyes, before blowing a kiss at her reflection, "Maybe dressing up like an actual girl from time-to-time isn't so bad, after all—well, ha ha, maybe I'll skip wearing the heels for next time."

(outside…)

Outside the bedroom, the Astray trio were busy looking over their respective Decks and/or watching TV in the living room while Ms. Simmons sat at the dining room table doing some of her paperwork. Mr. Kisaka was outside working on his own Duel Runner, Murasame. Eventually, they all heard the nearby bedroom door open up.

"Oh, ladies," announced Lisa, stepping out of the room and into the main room. Once out, she held her arms out in welcome, "Check me out!"

Ms. Simmons and the Astray trio all in the direction of their friend (student in the former's case), taking notice of Lisa's new look.

"Oh my!" cried Asagi happily.

"Amazing!" put in Mayura.

"You look so different, but in a great way!" finished Juri.

Ms. Simmons was surprised, "Well, well, this is certainly an unseen side of you," she admitted pleasantly, before standing up and folding her arms, "From all the years I've gotten to know you, I never took you for someone who would wear makeup or dresses."

"Meh, I was already forced onto a beauty spree against my will, so I figured I'd make the most of it. Plus, I really wanna see Dave's reaction to it," commented Lisa, finishing the last part with a light chuckle, "Speaking of which…" As she (Lisa) asked a question, Juri looked over since it was aimed for her (Juri), "Juri, can you see if you can hook us up with the Xadashi family?"

"I believe I can," nodded Juri, standing up and leaving for one of the other bedrooms, "I just need to get my laptop. It should be finished charging by now."

"Going to have a video chat with Dave?" pondered Mayura, looking at Lisa.

"We need to figure out where we're going tonight," reminded Lisa, watching as Juri went to get her laptop, "I'm hopeful that…" She closed her eyes with hope, "…he'll like what he sees."

(elsewhere…)

Somewhere in Queens, things in that borough were as busy as ever; cars and buses driving on the road, trains roaring down the rails, people walking around the sidewalks, you name it.

(elsewhere…)

Outside Discord's mansion…

"Guys, I hope you don't mind, but Mike and I are going out to explore more of the city later this evening," The voice of Matt echoed from inside the building.

(inside…)

Inside the living room, Zack was typing on his laptop at the nearby table, James R. was sitting on the couch playing a video game, Carlie, also sitting on the couch, was reading a book. Both Matt and Michael were standing outside the living room itself, and Discord, sitting in his easy chair while sipping some red wine, looked up and smiled.

"By all means, Matty-boy," he accepted, "I hope you both enjoy the ride when it comes time."

"Of course," nodded Michael, before becoming boastful, "And even if we encounter any muggers wanting our money or Duel Monsters cards, they would be no match for the power belonging to Michael Atlas!"

"We'll just have to wait and see about that," remarked Matt dryly, "Hopefully we won't encounter any such characters."

Indeed not.

(elsewhere…)

Back inside their hotel room, Sean, making some connections on his laptop, was following some instructions Juri texted him a couple of minutes ago.

"Is it ready yet, Sean-kun?" asked David.

"I'm just about done," answered Sean.

The laptop's monitor screen soon went from static to displaying clear footage of Juri on the other line (from her own laptop). Sean smiled when he realized the connection was a success.

"You're Sean Smith, right?" The image of Juri began, recognizing one of David's closest friends.

"Yup, that's me. And you must be Juri Wu Nien of Orb," confirmed Sean, while also recognizing the smartest student of the Orb Duel School—and proceeded to fire off a flirty comment her way as she listened, "Wow, you're pretty for an intellectual girl."

"Okay, okay, there'll be plenty of time for you to attempt your poor man's flirting later," interrupted David, getting in the way and stopping Sean from attempting a pick-up quote or something. He then sat down and addressed Juri, "Juri-san, do you know where Lisa-chan is?"

(elsewhere…)

Inside the other hotel room, Juri was seated at a table with her laptop showing footage of David on the other line. At the moment, both Mr. Kisaka and Ms. Simmons stepped out to get some coffee from the nearest coffee & donut shop. Mayura could be seen lounging on the couch reading a magazine, while Asagi stood in the kitchen area as she cleared her throat and got all eyes aimed towards her.

"May I have your attention, please!" The wavy blonde-haired young woman announced, marching towards the table with the laptop on top, "David Xadashi, I wish to present to you, for your eyes only," She motioned her left arm about, as Lisa entered the frame, "the new and improved Lisa Drake."

With that said, Juri stood up and stepped away from the laptop and allowed Lisa to use it.

(elsewhere…)

On the Xadashi line, David gasped and blushed when he saw what Lisa looked like now; Lisa, despite her tomboyish attitude and tough appearance, looked…very, very beautiful in both a dress and in makeup. When the image of Lisa got no response, she shyly spoke up…

"Dave? Are you okay?" she peeped, trying to look and sound hopeful, "Tell me the truth… What do you think of my new appearance? Asagi, Mayura, and Juri each insisted that I do this for you when we go out on our date tonight."

David, still awestruck and blushing, said nothing.

"Dave?" quizzed Sean, as Janice walked up and shook David, "Come on, man, snap out of it. Lisa's asking you what you think of her new look."

"Sure, but I think he might be taking it in first," Janice pointed out.

"He still has to say something."

Still awestruck, David managed to finally get some words out of his mouth, but they weren't exactly what Lisa wanted to even hear…

"You're a… a girl?" said David, slowly, timidly, and somewhat stupidly.

The rather unnecessary comment uttered by the boy she was prepared to go out with made the image of Lisa comically ticked off as an anger pressure mark appeared on the side of her head, her teeth became shark-like, and she slammed her hands onto the table on the other end (likely startling her three friends in the process).

"What'd you think?!" The image of Lisa snarled.

David reeled back, "No," he denied, raising both hands defensively while Sean facepalmed in the background, "I was just saying that this reminds me again that you're a girl."

(elsewhere…)

Back on the Orb line…

"That amounts to the same thing, jackass!" screeched Lisa, before easing up when she overheard snickering, "Huh?"

She turned and noticed that the three Astray girls were standing around and giggling in amusement over David's little comment regarding their pink-haired friend, with that giggling soon evolving into full-blown laughter.

"WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!" Lisa raged madly, red-faced.

(elsewhere…)

Back on the Xadashi line, David was shown sweatdropping over what was going on over on Lisa's end. He then heard equally loud laughter coming from both Sean and Janice. As expected, both teenagers were having a laugh at the innocent comment David made about Lisa and her not-so-amused reaction towards it.

"Boy, this is absolutely priceless!" chortled Sean.

"You got to admit it, Dave. That was a pretty funny thing for you to say," agreed Janice.

David frowned, "Could you both leave, now?" he grunted, annoyed, "Lisa-chan and I have plans to make."

And that's what Sean and Janice both did.

(elsewhere…)

On the Orb line, Lisa was busy shooing Asagi, Mayura, and Juri each away so she could be alone with David in order to plan out their date tonight. Once alone, she returned to the laptop and felt a bit calmer after her outburst.

"Much better…" Lisa sighed heavily, before smiling like nothing ever happened, "So, Dave, where should we go for our date tonight?"

"I actually know of a very reputable business," The image of David offered, holding a pamphlet out at the laptop's screen, "According to this pamphlet, there's a small establishment known as 'The Jazz Jin'."

"The Jazz Jin?" repeated Lisa.

"It's a modest restaurant which serves fine cocktails and features live music," explained David, "Nothing too high class, but it should be fitting for a first, real date. My Dad gave me enough money for that place. Also, although we obviously can't drink alcohol yet, we're of legal age to go inside for things like enjoying the music, food, and water. So, uh, what do you think?"

"Sounds like a plan, and it's not far from the hotel we're staying at," beamed Lisa, taking an immediate liking to the place, "With that agreed to, I'll see you later, Dave."

(elsewhere…)

On the Xadashi line, the image of Lisa winked and blew David a kiss before ending the video chat. Speaking of David, he leaned back in his seat, rested both arms behind his head, and sighed as though he had entered Heaven.

"Fate has been very generous to me lately," David mumbled happily.

Surely nothing could go wrong on his and Lisa's first date, right? Right?

(elsewhere…)

Later that night, Lisa had emerged from the hotel to wait for the taxi ride Mr. Kisaka had called and paid for. Disappointingly, she was not able to ride her Strike Rouge to the Jazz Jin because of the dress, so a taxi ride was for the best.

"Oh well, I should be more focused on the date instead of my Duel Runner, anyway," shrugged Lisa, "I can always ride Strike Rouge on another day."

(elsewhere…)

Meanwhile, the ordered cab was driving down one street towards its destination. Eventually, the cab driver noticed someone waving nearby.

(inside…)

Inside the cab…

"Looks like someone who needs a taxi," The cab driver told himself.

(outside…)

Eventually, the taxi pulled over to the side of the road, where the waving, shadowed person was waiting.

"Well, do you need a ride or something?" The cab driver, looking out the window, grinned.

The shadowed person entered the taxi from the front…

*POW!*

(inside…)

…and the cab driver was quickly out like a light as he collapsed on the steering wheel. The person who the driver was picking up, was none other than Vincent Stevens.

(outside…)

Only seconds later, Vincent, now wearing the taxi driver outfit, had thrown the unconscious driver into a nearby dumpster. Now prepared for his mission to get revenge on David, Vincent entered the taxi's driver seat at the front.

(inside…)

"Showtime," he snickered, before looking through the notes, "Now, where am I going…? Jackpot! 'Level-up King', you are one smart cookie."

(elsewhere…)

Back over with Lisa outside the hotel, the pink-haired girl continued to wait for her taxi when it finally arrived. Letting out a relieved sigh, she climbed into the back seat of said taxi.

(inside…)

Inside the taxi…

"I'm glad you've shown up," said Lisa pleasantly, sitting down.

In the front seat, the driver (Vincent) smiled darkly to himself before putting on a fake American accent to disguise who he really was.

"Where to, miss?" asked Vincent professionally.

"This place here," replied Lisa, handing over a note with the name of the location and its address written down, "I'm in a hurry, so can you try to make it there as quickly as you can, please?"

Vincent nodded, "I'll get you to the restaurant," he reassured (falsely), before adding a lie… "In fact, I know a shortcut to get there faster."

(outside…)

With that said, the devious young man named Vincent drove off seemingly for the restaurant known as the Jazz Jin.

(inside…)

As Lisa enjoyed the ride, she overheard her cellphone. Taking it out, she noticed there was a text message from Asagi.

"'OMG! Good Luck'," The voice of Lisa muttered, reading the text message before being seen groaning dreadfully, "They're never gonna let me live this down," She then got another text message a few seconds later and starting reading it with irritation, "This one's from Mayura… 'You are so lucky! LOL'… Dammit, this is getting seriously annoying, now."

Lisa then texted Asagi and Mayura both back with hard messages to keep their mouths shut if they knew what was good for them, but was so focused on the text messages that she paid no attention to where the 'cab driver' was actually taking her. Lisa Drake was heading for trouble…

(elsewhere…)

Eventually, the cab pulled outside an abandoned warehouse.

(inside…)

Inside the cab, Vincent's eyes gleamed with wickedness at the sight of the building. Lisa, meanwhile, was reading a third and final text message, this time it being from Juri.

"'Be sure to tell us everything when it's all over'…" The voice of Lisa murmured, looking over Juri's text message before closing her eyes and bringing her right hand over towards her throbbing forehead the second she finished reading it, "Good God… Sometimes I wonder why I ever became friends with three boy-crazy girls. I often ask myself questions like that."

"Miss, we have arrived," reported Vincent, speaking in the fake American accent again. He then exited the taxi, "I'll help you out."

Relieved and excited, Lisa opened her eyes and turned to look out the window at…an abandoned warehouse?

"Wait a damn minute! This isn't the Jazz Jin!" snapped Lisa, now looking very peeved, "It's supposed to look much fancier and more alive," The door was soon opened, and she started to climb out, "This is just an abandoned warehouse! You jerk! I thought you said you knew a shortcut?! Now I'm gonna be late for my first date!"

(outside…)

Upon climbing out, Lisa, while ranting on, was about to give the 'cab driver' a piece of her mind when, all of a sudden, a chloroform cloth was forced directly onto her mouth, making her eyes widen at what was happening before they drooped and she fell unconscious. Upon hitting the ground, Vincent, still wearing the taxi driver outfit, loomed over the knocked out teenage girl with an evil smile on his face.

"I think you've been running your piehole for far too long," chuckled Vincent, before picking up the dropped cellphone, "Now to send robo-boy an invitation of my own…"

(elsewhere…)

Outside a nice little restaurant (Jazz Jin), David, after parking his The Wild Card, was sitting on a bench waiting for Lisa to arrive. He had been waiting for at least half-an-hour since arriving, but Lisa had not shown up yet.

"Where are you, Lisa-chan?" thought David boredly, before reaching into his pocket for his cellphone, "Maybe you've forgotten the address? I guess I'll just have to text it to you again," Before he could begin typing, he saw that he had a text message of his own from Lisa, "Huh, speak of the devil… Lisa-chan's texting me. I guess I had better—what?!"

The message was from Lisa's own cellphone, but the message was most certainly NOT from Lisa Drake herself. Worried, David began reading the message sent to him. This was what it said…

"Hello, robo-boy. Sorry to have to tell you this, but I'm afraid your little girlfriend forcefully took a detour on the way up. If you ever want to see her again, you will meet me at the abandoned warehouse on the following street ALONE. And a note of caution; if you get the police involved, or if any of your pals from Orb and/or especially any of those big shot duelists from San Francisco show up alongside you, it's gonna be lights out for her and perhaps you. Outside that warning, I'm really looking forward to meeting with you again. See you real soon, pal… Signed…"

David never finished reading the message; instead, he dropped his cellphone and clenched both hands into tight fists. David knew exactly who did the deed… Rather than say that person's name, he simply stayed quiet and struggled to maintain control of his emotions, but ultimately failed to do so. David then raised his head into the night sky, and let out a long, loud scream as some nearby people stared curiously or in fright.

(elsewhere…)

The furious scream could even be heard at the same warehouse that Vincent drove up to.

(inside…)

Inside the warehouse, it was almost pitch black. Lisa slowly awoke from being unconscious, with her eyes opening and vision gradually becoming clearer. She tried to move but found herself unable to. Looking down, the pink-haired girl found that she was bound tightly to a wooden chair; her waist pinned to the backrest, her hands tied together behind her and her legs secured together by her thighs and ankles.

"What the hell!?" cried Lisa, having no idea where she even was. She began to panic, struggling against her bonds as the chair scraped against the stone floor as she thrashed about hopelessly, "Hello!? HELLO!? HEY!"

Worn out slightly from her struggling, Lisa began to take in her surroundings. She was inside what looked to be a large old warehouse, likely the same one she had been driven to. The whole place was dusty and damp with a large open area in-front of her, as though it had been prepared beforehand. With her brief hysterics over, Lisa grunted as she continued to try and get free.

"Ugh! That stupid cab driver!" Lisa complained to herself, now very annoyed, "When I'm through with him, he'd better hope he's within crawling distance of a hospital—or at least has good health insurance!"

"Awake, are we?" A familiar voice (male) remarked playfully.

That certainly got Lisa's attention, but upon looking around for the voice there was nobody else present.

"Who's there?" demanded Lisa, beginning to look at her surroundings once again, "Whoever's out there, come forward, now!"

Emerging from behind several large crates was the same young man with spiky black hair whom she defeated in the first round of the Action Duel tournament, as well as encountered in the stadium lobby on one of her first days being in New York City.

"Y-You're-!" gasped Lisa, as a few quick flashbacks ensued.

FLASHBACK

In the first flashback, this one took place in the lobby of the New York City stadium. The light-hearted atmosphere was immediately demolished when a male voice snapped everyone out of it…

"Heh! If it isn't robo-boy and his two bodyguards!" The male voice cracked cruelly, "I'm actually surprised to find you're here as well!"

Flashback David stopped laughing, "It can't be…" he uttered, "Not him…"

Both Flashback Sean and Flashback Janice were, likewise, upset to hear that male voice. Standing at the entrance of the lobby was a young man with spiky black hair; it was the same young man that Flashback David told his new friends about during lunch at the John F. Kennedy Airport.

"You're…!" began Flashback James R..

It was Vincent Stevens, the same bully from Flashback David's past when he arrived in England from Japan at a young age all because he couldn't speak English properly at the time and for a few other reasons—Flashback Vincent had been picking on Flashback David ever since then.

(new scene…)

The next flashback was before and during the Turbo Duel between Lisa and Vincent. Flashback Lisa and Flashback Vincent, riding Strike Rouge and The Beast respectively, were waiting at the starting line.

"Hey!" warned Flashback Vincent, "I'm gonna crush you in record time, girly girl!"

"Watch it, buster," scowled Flashback Lisa, "Unless you want the ass-kicking of a lifetime!"

(new scene…)

During the duel, Flashback Vincent had Special Summon 'Flying Fortress SKY FIRE' and began to use its effect.

"I activate 'Flying Fortress SKY FIRE's' first effect!" declared Flashback Vincent, sending a card ('Nobleman of Crossout') from his hand to the GY, "Once per turn: I can send 1 card from my hand to the GY, then target 1 card my opponent controls; I must destroy it. That card of yours…will be 'Naturia Barkion'!"

Flashback Lisa gasped, "Huh?!"

"Sharp Shooting!" ordered Flashback Vincent.

As 'Flying Fortress SKY FIRE' flew above Strike Rouge, it dropped several explosives down upon 'Naturia Barkion', striking and causing an explosion to cloud Flashback Lisa and the area around her Duel Runner. When the smoke faded away, 'Naturia Barkion' was gone.

"'Naturia Barkion'!" cried Flashback Lisa, before seeing an Action Card up ahead, "An Action Card!"

She made a grab for the Action Card, but suddenly felt a jerk as The Beast bashed into Strike Rouge. Crying out in surprise, Flashback Lisa was forced to back off as Flashback Vincent then took the Action Card ('Cursed Gem') for himself.

"Sorry, but this card of yours is actually mine," taunted Flashback Vincent, showing off the Action Spell Card off before adding it into his hand, "HA! What a sucker."

"What's the big idea?!" snapped Flashback Lisa, as Strike Rouge fell behind The Beast.

END FLASHBACK

The flashback ended, with Lisa becoming pretty angry at the realization.

"Damn you!" she roared, "You're the one behind this, aren't you?!"

"Why, whatever gave that away?" joked Vincent, shrugging innocently (not), "What matters to me at the moment, is that robo-boy is on his way to try and stop me. I'm looking forward to seeing him again, you know."

"Oh, believe me, he's the least of your worries, pal!" spat Lisa, watching as her enemy walked towards her, "I hope you have a good doctor on standby, 'cause you'll need one when I'm through with you—once I get free, that is!"

"Yes, yes, revenge," Vincent said dismissively, as he stepped around Lisa and gripped onto her bare shoulders, "Though I'm not the one who's tied up, am I?"

"Don't even try touching me!" snarled Lisa, shaking herself to try and get Vincent off.

"Though I do have to wonder, how did a wuss like Xadashi end up with such a doll like you?" continued Vincent, as he then traced his hands across Lisa's arms before glancing down at the full view of her visible cleavage, "I mean, you look so…stacked."

Lisa jerked slightly from the touch, "I'm warning you!" she threatened heatly, "Keep away!"

Unfazed by the threat, Vincent grinned as he crouched down and used his left hand to move the cut of Lisa's dress out of the way. In one motion, he slipped his right hand inside and pinched her buttocks.

"GAH!" Lisa shrieked with a blush on her face, before becoming further angered, "Why you-!"

"Sweet Jesus!" teased Vincent, as he retracted his hand and waved it about, "For a tomboy, you sure are made of hot stuff!"

"Dammit!" swore Lisa, as she struggled to break free some more, "If I had my hands free, I'd so smack the ever loving crap out of you!"

"Oh, do you mean like this?" Vincent taunted, before using his right hand to roughly smack the side of Lisa's thigh close to her rear.

"OW!" Lisa shouted in pain, "You bastard!"

Vincent, not paying any attention to the insults, then gently caressed the spot where he'd struck Lisa, making sure to slip under the cut of dress to feel her skin; using his left hand to stroke the middle of her thigh, and using his right hand to carefully rub her buttocks.

"You know, I like a woman with a little fire in her blood," smirked Vincent, as he happily molested the 17-year old teenage girl, "Makes me wonder how good they'll be to get 'busy' with."

Lisa reeled in disgust, "And I thought this was about getting even with Dave," she said angrily, while NOT getting any sort of enjoyment over being violated, "You seriously believe you have a chance with 'any' girl, let alone me?"

"Naturally, baby," boasted Vincent, as he again moved the cut of Lisa's dress, leaned in, and rubbed the side of his face onto her exposed thigh, "I get to beat robo-boy into next week, and then keep you as a trophy."

"The only 'trophy' you'll be getting from me is a broken neck!" yelled Lisa, as she struggled hard against the ropes holding her down, "Once I'm free from these damn ropes, you'll be really sorry!"

"Oh?" scoffed Vincent, standing back up and staring at his prisoner before getting a really nasty idea. He then eyed Lisa's cleavage again, "Hmm… Those look fake. Maaaaybe I should check to see if they 'are' real."

As expected, Lisa's eyes flared with anger as her face turned completely red; that guy wanted to reach under the top half of her dress and feel her chest?! No way in hell would she let that happen!

"I swear to God, if you try touching me there, I will 'castrate' you with my bare hands, you jackass!" threatened Lisa, thrashing backwards in an attempt to headbutt Vincent and prevent him from coming any closer, "Now, stay the hell away!"

Vincent merely snickered at Lisa's futile effort to stop him, and, in one swift motion, he shuffled himself behind Lisa, reached around, and slipped his hands into her dress before firmly gripping onto her breasts, squeezing and playing with them roughly and pervertedly.

"GYAAAAAH!" screeched Lisa, looking up at the ceiling.

Vincent was quite pleased at Lisa's reaction as he continued squeezing and kneading her chest, enjoying the feeling of her unexposed nipples on the palms of his hands—and he did it all with a twisted smile glued to his face.

"Wow, oh wow! You really do have a 'nice' rack here," The spiky black-haired young man cracked, "So soft and firm… They aren't fake at all!"

Lisa clenched her teeth in fury as her face grew more red with rage. If she were to break free, the damage she would do to Vincent would be catastrophic.

"It looks to me like you have chosen death, you creep!" growled Lisa, while beginning to flail about relentlessly like a mad-woman to get this lousy pervert to retract his hands and let go of her. Every second Vincent's hands remained within her dress and feeling her chest only made her more enraged, "Get your Goddamn hands out of my dress, RIGHT NOW!"

Just then, both heard the distinct sound of a Duel Runner closing in outside the warehouse.

"Huh?" peeped Lisa, calming down.

"Heh! He's finally here…" grunted Vincent, finally retracting (carefully) his hands and letting go of his prisoner—though not without patting the top of her head, "You just stay right here, doll. I have a punk to take care of."

Lisa merely fumed over being called 'doll', while Vincent took the opportunity to find a place to hide. That way, he could get the jump on David the first chance he got. Speaking of David, the doors to the warehouse soon opened, revealing David Xadashi as he looked around briefly.

"Hello?" called David, walking inside, "I know you're here, Vincent! Show yourself!"

Flipping his computer glasses down and pressing the right side near the strap, he began to record his surroundings. Nobody else seemed to be in the area, so he tried one more time to get the guilty party's attention.

"This is your only warning!" David shouted again, "Come out now, or I shall contact the authorities!"

"Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you," A voice (male) stated.

Before David could react, Vincent suddenly got behind and grabbed him in a headlock, with the latter's much larger frame keeping the leaner boy at bay.

"Vincent!" gagged David, as best he could while being restrained at the neck, "What have you…done with Lisa-chan!?"

"Oh, you wanna meet your date, robo-boy?" asked Vincent in a mocking way, "Well, let me take you to her," He then started to drag David to another part inside the warehouse, "Right this way."

The spiky black-haired young man roughly brought David to the area where Lisa was being held captive, throwing him to the floor as he did.

"Dave!" cried Lisa, still tied to the chair.

Quickly composing himself, David looked up at the bound girl.

"Lisa-chan!" he exclaimed, getting back up and running over, "Everything will be okay; I'll get you untied!"

Before David could even make it half-way across…

*CLICK!*

David immediately froze when he turned and saw Vincent aiming a gun directly at both him and Lisa.

"Not one more step," threatened Vincent coldly.

"A gun, Vincent?" said David, frowning deeply, "You really have fallen as low as you can go."

Vincent sneered, "Make all the dry remarks you want, but you are in my world now," he retorted, "Let's just say I'm itching for the rematch I have been dreaming of ever since I was humiliated by you in that tournament at school years ago."

"You 'deserved' to be humiliated!" accused David, "You chose to bully me just because I was different from other children! More importantly, I refuse to duel with you again. Do you know why?" He pointed to his glasses, "You should be aware I have been recording everything since arriving, and have accumulated more than enough evidence of your crimes to supply to the police!"

Vincent, who had been expecting that sort of response, simply lumbered over, knocked David aside again, got behind Lisa, and aimed the gun at her head's temple.

"I half expected you to refuse," hissed Vincent, "So, instead, I'm gonna make things simple and give you two choices… One, you refuse," He then put a slimy smile onto his face and used his left hand to reach into the top of Lisa's dress and begin fondling her left breast (again) in order to further provoke David, "and your friend here gets a bullet through her head. Or two, you can accept the little rematch offer with yours truly, and 'maybe' walk out of here in one piece. So tell me, what's it gonna be?"

"Ignore him, Dave!" insisted Lisa, despite being groped again, "You must never give into a bully's demands! This jerk's dead meat anyway once I get free!" She then heard a clicking sound from the gun and tried her hardest to not become frightened, "N-No… I can't let myself be afraid of you. Dave will surely-"

"SHUT UP!" shouted Vincent, retracting his left hand and then slapping Lisa across the face.

Lisa cried out in pain and fear when she got hit, before she again stared at David pleadingly with her cheek looking red and bruised. Although he still laid on the floor at first, David could now see pure fear and distress in the pink-haired girl's eyes, and realized Vincent really was going to hurt and/or shoot her if he refused to duel. That was something he could NOT yet happen.

"So, what's it gonna be?" pressed Vincent, "No duel, and the girl gets shot? Or will you save her by accepting the duel? The answer is so obvious, yet easy to pick."

"(貴様!) Kisama! (You bastard!)" growled David in Japanese and in newly gained hatred of Vincent. He then got onto his hands and knees before getting back to his feet, "Alright, I'll duel you… You have got yourself a rematch."

Laughing triumphantly, Vincent arrogantly strolled up to Dave.

"I knew you'd see things my way," he remarked in false pleasantry, "When I win, I'm gonna become the 'Level-up King' once more. But if somehow you end up winning, which I doubt, I'll let you and the girl both go without being harmed and with no fuss on my part."

David grunted a very short response.

(outside…)

Somewhere outside the warehouse, the three Bio-CPU boys were hiding in a spot while using a special laptop that Orga developed to listen in on the conversation going on inside the building. Currently, both Clotho and Orga were decked out in their respective motorcyclist suits.

"Looks like the nerd actually showed up," said Shani, before looking at her two older best friends, "You two better make sure that Matt Fudo and that 'Former King' both don't even think of crashing the party."

"Just leave them to us," smirked Orga, looking ready to take on Michael again.

"This time, they're going down," added Clotho, itching to face Matt once more.

From there, the two male Blue Cosmos students ran off to get their Duel Runners, leaving Shani to listen to the upcoming match on the laptop and to when he should intervene.

(inside…)

Inside the warehouse, David and Vincent, armed with their activated Duel Disks, stood idle and stared at each other with hatred burning in their respective eyes.

"Let's do it, Dave!" dared Vincent, drawing his opening hand (LP: 4000).

"Here I come, Vincent!" added David, drawing his opening hand (LP: 4000).

And so, the duel commenced.

"The first turn's going to me, robo-boy!" declared Vincent, drawing a card, "Draw!"

Turn One: Vincent Stevens (LP: 4000)
Deck: 54
Current Hand (6): "Neo Flamvell Hedgehog", "Ultimate Flare", "Defense Draw", "Foolish Burial", "Call of the Haunted", and "Black Salvo"

His drawn card was a Monster Card known as 'Black Salvo'.

"This is good," thought Vincent, before noticing what was in his starting hand, "This is really, really good!" He then spoke aloud, "Hey, I want you to bear witness to the new cards I have in my Deck!"

"Will they be used now or later?" asked David dryly.

"All in good time," As Vincent spoke, he added the drawn card into his hand, pulled another from it, and held it out, "From my hand, I'll activate the Spell Card, 'Foolish Burial'! I must send 1 monster from my Deck to the GY."

David watched as Vincent took a card from his Deck and sent it to the GY, wondering why that would happen. Maybe he was trying to ensure he could Special Summon his three 'Reactor' monsters and eventually bring out 'Flying Fortress SKY FIRE'. It's a simple strategy, yet it was effective. No time to dwell on that though, as Vincent made another move…

"Now, I'll Summon 'Black Salvo' in Attack Position!" continued Vincent, placing a card onto his Duel Disk.

Appearing onto the field was a large bomb with a painted on face (Level: 3/ATK: 100/DEF: 1100).

"From there, I'll activate 'Black Salvo's' special ability!" said Vincent, taking a card ('Trap Reactor・Y FI') from his GY and holding it up to show his opponent, "When this card is Normal Summoned: I can target 1 Level 4 DARK Machine monster in my GY; I must Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but negate its effects," He placed the card onto his Duel Disk, "Come, 'Trap Reactor・Y FI'!"

Appearing onto the field was an all-too familiar green robotic plane (Level: 4/ATK: 800/DEF: 1800).

"Let's see if you recognize this card I'm gonna bring out," dared Vincent, holding out a card ('Dark Strike Fighter') he had taken out of his Extra Deck, "I tune Level 4 'Trap Reactor・Y FI' into Level 3 'Black Salvo'!"

'Black Salvo' exploded into three Synchro Rings, which 'Trap Reactor・Y FI' floated into while turning into four orbs of light as the symbols 4 + 3 = 7 were shown. In addition, Vincent began a Summon Chant of his own…

"Those who are in the military, destroy those who try to take you down!" The spiky black-haired young man chanted, as the symbols 4 + 3 = 7 were shown briefly just before his eyes flashed all red for a brief moment, "Synchro Summon!" As the Synchro Summon sequence started to come to an end, a new monster started to emerge from the resulting beam of light, "'Dark Strike Fighter'!"

Landing on the ground was a familiar-looking Machine monster that looked like a lesser version of 'Flying Fortress SKY FIRE' with its armor more of a darker shade of red and black (Level: 7/ATK: 2600/DEF: 1800).

"'Dark Strike Fighter'-!" winced David, while in his mind… "Well, I could always be wrong on my theories."

On cue, three Set cards materialized on the field behind 'Dark Strike Fighter'.

"Now, I'll Set three cards face-down and end my turn!" finished Vincent, "Now, robo-boy, come at me! I want you to chase me into the very bowels of Hell, which I'll make sure to leave you trapped within!"

David said nothing back.

(elsewhere…)

On the Williamsburg Bridge, both Wheel of Fortune and Fudo Go were driving towards Manhattan. Currently, Matt and Michael were enjoying their night ride.

"You know, Mike, I can't help but wonder how Dave and Lisa are doing on their first date," commented Matt.

"Who cares about that?" dismissed Michael, "I would rather focus more on the ride or evening dueling at this time instead of the concept of romance, wouldn't you?"

Matt just chuckled and agreed. As both Duel Runners left the bridge area and entered the street level, things were about to go wrong for them. While turning onto another street, they heard the sound of Duel Runners.

"What the-?" gapped Michael, "Aren't we the only ones riding Duel Runners at this time of night?"

"I hear it, too," acknowledged Matt, "I can…AUGH!"

Before the dirty blonde-haired young man could say anything else, he felt something crashing and digging into the back end of Fudo Go. That somewhat…was Raider in its MA Mode. Before Michael could say or do anything to help out his rival/best friend, he cried out as he felt Wheel of Fortune being bashed by the familiar Duel Runner known as Calamity.

"How's that?!" taunted Orga, as Wheel of Fortune fell behind, "Want some more?"

"Rrrr! You bastard!" yelled Michael, as he regained control, "What's this all about?!"

Orga simply laughed and drove away. Clotho, meanwhile, turned Raider back into its Duel Runner form and drove off to follow Calamity. Matt managed to regain control of Fudo Go and drive up beside Wheel of Fortune.

"Clotho and Orga… What are they doing here?" pondered Matt.

"I don't know, but if they try to take us on a second time, we'll just have to teach them a final lesson," reassured Michael, before grabbing both handles of Wheel of Fortune and speeding after Orga, "You go after Clotho! I've got Orga!"

"Mike…" whispered Matt, before grabbing the handles of Fudo Go and speeding up and racing down the direction Raider went off in.

(elsewhere…)

Inside the abandoned warehouse…

"Vincent… I'm going to defeat you!" declared David, drawing a card, "I draw!"

Turn Two: David Xadashi (LP: 4000)
Deck: 54
Current Hand (6): "Morphtronic Engine", "Morphtronic Boarden", "Morphtronic Magnen", "Monster Reborn", "Morphtronic Radion", and "Angel Baton"

His drawn card was the 'Angel Baton' Spell Card.

"I activate the Spell Card, 'Angel Baton'!" began David, slotting the mentioned card into his Duel Disk. This resulted in the 'Angel Baton' Spell Card materializing face-up on the field, "I must draw 2 cards, then discard 1 card."

He drew two cards ('Morphtronics, Scramble!' and 'Gadget Driver'). Adding both cards into his hand, he took and sent another card ('Morphtronic Radion') to the GY. Far from being done, David took another card and placed it onto his Duel Disk.

"Here's my monster, Vincent!" As David spoke, a Monster Card known as 'Morphtronic Boarden' materialized face-up on the field, "Appear now, 'Morphtronic Boarden'!"

Appearing onto the field was a large, white skateboard which morphed into a robot (Level: 3/ATK: 500/DEF: 1800).

"Is that supposed to be a joke?" frowned Vincent.

"Far from one," retorted David, "This is 'Morphtronic Boarden's' Attack Position effect," He went over his monster's effect, "'Morphtronic' monsters I control can attack directly."

Vincent snorted, "With ATK that low, that will hardly hurt me!"

"Then watch as I activate an Equip Spell, 'Morphtronic Engine'!" announced David, slotting a card into a Spell & Trap Zone on his Duel Disk, "I'll equip this onto 'Morphtronic Boarden'!"

The mentioned Spell Card materialized face-up on the field behind 'Morphtronic Boarden'.

"I must equip only to a Level 3 'Morphtronic' monster," explained David, "Its ATK becomes double its original ATK. However, there is a second, more of a side effect to it… During my second Standby Phase after this card's activation: I must destroy this card, and take damage equal to the original ATK of the equipped monster."

'Morphtronic Boarden' grew stronger (ATK: 500 → 1000), but Vincent only yawned in disinterest as though he was not worried about that.

"I can tell you're not all that worried," figured David, before holding another card ('Monster Reborn') out, "Next, I'll activate the Spell Card, 'Monster Reborn'! Resurrect, 'Morphtronic Radion'!"

Appearing onto the field was a gray, handheld radio, which morphed into a robot (Level: 4/ATK: 1000/DEF: 900).

"Are you even trying, robo-boy?" grunted Vincent, "Both your monsters only have an ATK of 1000."

"'Radion' has two effects, which depend on its battle position," reminded David, "Since it's in Attack Position, I'll use that effect!" Focus changed towards 'Morphtronic Radion', "'Morphtronic' monsters I control gain 800 ATK."

"What? 800?!"

Both 'Morphtronic Boarden' (ATK: 1000 → 1800) and 'Morphtronic Radion' (ATK: 1000 → 1800) grew stronger.

"You're screwing with me, aren't you!" flinched Vincent.

Over with the captive Lisa…

"With Dave's monsters able to attack directly, both of his monsters will reduce Vincent's LP to a mere 400," Lisa told herself.

Back in the field…

"This is the Battle Phase, Vincent!" yelled David, before giving one of his monsters an order, "'Morphtronic Boarden', attack the enemy player directly!"

'Morphtronic Boarden' obeyed, skating safely past 'Dark Strike Fighter' and delivering a swift punch to Vincent in the face, pushing him back as he clutched his cheek and took damage (LP: 4000 → 2200).

"That was nothing!" insisted Vincent, despite rubbing his cheek.

"The second attack!" David went on, "'Morphtronic Radion', attack the enemy player directly!" As the attack name was announced, 'Morphtronic Radion' started firing off a barrage of soundwaves towards Vincent, "Earthphone Shoot!"

Even thought the noise was absolutely awful, Vincent managed to look up and smile like a shark.

"You're an idiot, robo-boy!" insulted Vincent, causing David to ease up slightly, "Your first attack might have worked, but your second definitely won't!" To prove a point, he motioned his left hand (with the Duel Disk) towards the left Set card, "I activate a Trap, 'Defense Draw'!"

The face-down card flipped up and revealed itself.

"During my opponent's turn, at damage calculation: I must make the battle damage I take from this battle 0, and if I do, draw 1 card."

A defensive barrier formed around Vincent, blocking the soundwaves, and allowing Vincent to draw an extra card.

"(くそー…) Kuso… (Damn…)" swore David in Japanese, "He avoided that attack."

"You might as well keep that long face, I have something else you won't like much," teased Vincent, before aiming his right hand at the face-down card on the right, "I activate a Trap, 'Ultimate Flare'!"

The Set card flipped face-up and revealed itself.

"This card was a favorite of mine back when I was the 'Level-up King'," bragged Vincent, "I must Special Summon 1 'Ultimate Flare Token', but monsters I control have their effects negated until the End Phase of this turn. When an 'Ultimate Flare Token' is destroyed: I must inflict 800 damage to my opponent."

From there, a one-eyed, undersea mine appeared onto the field (Level: 10/ATK: 0/DEF: 0). David grimaced, looked at his hand, took a card from it, and slotted it into his Duel Disk.

"I Set one reverse card and end my turn," he finished, just as a face-down card materialized on the field in-front of him.

"Dammit!" thought Lisa, "That lousy Vincent bastard!"

"It's my turn!" announced Vincent, drawing a card, "Draw!"

Turn Three: Vincent Stevens (LP: 2200)
Deck: 51
Current Hand (3): "Neo Flamvell Hedgehog", "Summon Reactor・SK", and "Polymerization"

Upon seeing his drawn 'Polymerization' Spell Card, Vincent snickered quietly for a moment before bursting into sinister laughter.

"The pieces are all falling into place for me!" boomed Vincent, before pointing at 'Dark Strike Fighter', "Now, I'll activate the effect of 'Dark Strike Fighter'! During my Main Phase 1: I can Tribute 1 monster; I must inflict damage to my opponent equal to the Tributed monster's Level on the field x 200. So, for the cost, I'll Tribute my 'Ultimate Flare Token'! With a Level of 10, you're gonna take a big 2000 damage, robo-boy!"

The 'Ultimate Flare Token' vanished in streaks of light before turning into ammunition for 'Dark Strike Fighter', who then began taking aim.

"EAT THIS!" screamed Vincent.

Once the target was in range, 'Dark Strike Fighter' fired a barrage of explosives at David, causing him to yell out and get pushed back (LP: 4000 → 2000).

"Dave!" called Lisa.

David looked up weakly, turned to stare at Lisa, and shot his friend a reassuring smile.

"I can't afford to take a risk and let myself be attacked. In that case…" he thought to himself, before speaking out loud, "I activate the effect of the 'Gadget Driver' in my hand!"

"'Gadget Driver'?" quizzed Vincent.

"That's right," nodded David, taking a card ('Gadget Driver') from his hand and sending it to the GY, "(Quick Effect): I can send this card from my hand to the GY, then target any number of 'Morphtronic' monsters I control; I must change the battle position of those targets," He pointed at his two 'Morphtronic' monsters, "'Boarden' and 'Radion', I need you both to go into Defense Position!"

The two robots quickly morphed back into their base forms.

"You're kidding, right?" deadpanned Vincent.

"Nope," David said back, having a little helpful trick to defend himself, "The Defense Position effect of my 'Morphtronic Radion' will help me out! 'Morphtronic' monsters I control gain 1000 DEF."

'Morphtronic Boarden' (DEF: 1800 → 2800) and 'Morphtronic Radion' (DEF: 900 → 1900) both gained large amounts of defensive power. Rather than become frustrated, Vincent merely laughed at David's defensive strategy.

"Man, you always prove me right about yourself!" taunted Vincent, pointing at his enemy, "Because none of your monsters are a match for my 'Dark Strike Fighter', you immediately take the cowardly route rather than take a heavy blow like a man!"

David said nothing back.

(elsewhere…)

On the expressway somewhere in Manhattan, Orga was still in the process of trying to 'escape' from Michael. Despite that, Wheel of Fortune soon caught up with Calamity. Orga, however, had been expecting that all this time.

"So, you've caught up with me, King!" snickered Orga, "It's good to see you again."

"Damn you! What the hell are you up to, now?!" demanded Michael.

"It's simple; I want a rematch. The sooner I defeat you, the sooner we become even!"

"Don't joke around with me!" The lime green-haired young man snapped sharply, "I know you and Clotho are planning something, and I'm gonna get the information out of you, no matter what! If I have to duel in order to make you talk, so be it!" He pointed at his enemy using his right hand, "This challenge I accept!"

"A good choice on your part!" said Orga, before looking down the road again, "This time, I'm gonna win and become the new King."

With the Turbo Duel agreed to, both Orga and Michael pressed a button on the dashboard of their respective Duel Runners.

"Duel Mode, engaged," came a computerized voice aboard the two, respective Duel Runners, "Autopilot activated."

(elsewhere…)

"A Turbo Duel?" questioned Matt.

Somewhere in Manhattan, Matt Fudo was still in the process of chasing after Clotho and the latter had issued a similar duel challenge.

"This time, without any Action Cards to aid you, I'll give you the Game Over you rightfully deserve!" Clotho insisted confidently, "That is, only if you don't back out like a chicken."

Matt frowned, "Something stinks," he thought to himself, "There has to be more than what I'm being told."

After a few beats…

"Well?" pressed Clotho, "Will you duel me again?"

"I have no other choice but to accept…" muttered Matt, before speaking more loudly… "Alright! I'll face you once more, Clotho—but on one condition!" As he (Matt) revealed the condition, Clotho looked over his (Clotho) shoulder and listened, "You will tell me what you and Orga are planning if I defeat you!"

"Sure, I can agree with you on something like that," accepted Clotho, "Even though this time around, you have no real chance of winning!"

With the Turbo Duel and wager both agreed to, both Clotho and Matt pressed a button on their respective Duel Runners.

"Duel Mode, engaged," came a computerized voice aboard the two, respective Duel Runners, "Autopilot activated."

"Turbo Duel!" Clotho and Matt both began (LP: 4000) x2.

(elsewhere…)

"Acceleration!" Orga and Michael both finished (LP: 4000) x2.

And so, two more duels commenced.

(elsewhere…)

Back in the center of Manhattan, both Fudo Go and Raider drove down the street. There were not many cars around, so the Turbo Duel would not be especially dangerous.

"I'm up first!" boasted Clotho, drawing a card, "Draw!"

Turn One: Clotho Buer (LP: 4000)
Deck: 54
Current Hand (6): "Infernity Suppression", ?, "Into the Void", ?, ?, and "Infernity Guardian"

He saw his drawn 'Infernity Guardian' Monster Card. Matt, meanwhile, remained neutral on what to expect first, he knew that the Handless Combo was gonna come quickly. Sure enough, Clotho made a move…

"I Summon 'Infernity Guardian' in Defense Position!" The red/orange-haired young man began, placing his drawn card onto his Duel Runner.

Appearing onto the field was the large, fiendish shield with a skull on it (Level: 4/ATK: 1200/DEF: 1700). Not only that, a Spell Card called 'Into the Void' materialized face-up on the field beside Raider (on its right).

"Next, I'll activate a Spell Card, 'Into the Void', from my hand!" continued Clotho, drawing a card, "If I have 3 or more cards in my hand: I must draw 1 card, and if I do, during the End Phase of this turn, discard my entire hand."

He burst out laughing over how soon his hand would become empty and complete his combo, while Matt remained stoic about the whole thing. Before long, three face-down cards materialized on the field around Raider before fading away for later use.

"I Set three cards face-down and end my turn!" finished Clotho, before holding his two remaining cards out to show his enemy and sending them to the GY, "Now I have to send my remaining cards to the GY as per the effect of 'Into the Void'! This means my Handless Combo is now complete!"

"Your combo might be powerful, but, as I've proven in our last duel, it's not unbeatable," reminded Matt, drawing a card, "I'll show you how I mean that!"

Turn Two: Matt Fudo (LP: 4000)
Deck: 54
Current Hand (6): ?, ?, "Junk Forward", ?, ?, and "Drill Synchron"

His drawn card was a Monster Card known as 'Drill Synchron'.

"Good!" thought Matt, adding the card into his hand and selecting another to play instead, "If I control no monsters, I can Special Summon this card (from my hand)," He placed the card onto his Duel Runner, "Come, 'Junk Forward'!"

Appearing onto the field was a tannish, humanoid robot with a rocket back on its back (Level: 3/ATK: 900/DEF: 1500).

"From there," As Matt spoke, he readied another card ('Drill Synchron') and placed it onto his Duel Runner, "I'll Summon the Tuner monster, 'Drill Synchron'!"

Appearing onto the field was a large brown metal sphere with two large drills, a drill for a horn, and two caterpillars for feet (Level: 3/ATK: 800/DEF: 300).

"I tune Level 3 'Junk Forward'…" ordered Matt, as both 'Junk Forward' and 'Drill Synchron' stood/floated in-front of him, "…into Level 3 'Drill Synchron'!"

'Drill Synchron' jumped into the air and turned into three Synchro Rings, which 'Junk Forward' jumped into and turned into three orbs of light as a Summon Chant from Matt was heard throughout…

"Gathering power will turn into a spear that pierces the earth! Become the path its light shines upon!" chanted Matt, as the symbols 3 + 3 = 6 were shown briefly just before the three orbs of light within the trio of Synchro Rings turned into a massive beam of light, "Synchro Summon! Break it apart, 'Drill Warrior'!"

Appearing onto the field, as the Synchro Summon sequence ended, was a brown mechanical-like Warrior monster with drills for hands (Level: 6/ATK: 2400/DEF: 2000).

"'Drill Warrior'? That's the best you can bring out?" scoffed Clotho, "In case you've forgotten, my hand is empty! With it being empty, the monster effects of my various 'Infernity' monsters will activate and stay that way!" His focus then went to his 'Infernity Guardian' (DEF: 1700), "With 'Infernity Guardian', it cannot be destroyed in battle!" He remained absolutely smug and confident in his ability to win, "As long as I keep my hand empty, it will remain invincible to any and all attacks you try making!"

"Even you should remember that I have ways to get through strategies like that," reminded Matt firmly, before holding his right hand out, "I activate 'Drill Warrior's' first effect!" From there, 'Drill Warrior's' ATK started to drop (ATK: 2400 → ?). "Once per turn, during my Main Phase 1: I can halve this card's ATK, and if I do, it can attack directly this turn!"

"Like hell I'll let you!" interrupted Clotho, before one of his Set cards reappeared on the field behind Raider, flipped face-up, and revealed itself, "I activate a Trap, 'Infernity Suppression'!" He smiled smugly while going over his card's effect, "When my opponent activates a monster effect while I control an 'Infernity' monster: I must negate the effect, then, I can…" Just as he finished his explanation, his face-up 'Infernity Suppression' Trap Card fired off an electrical beam, "…inflict damage to my opponent equal to the activating monster's Level x 100."

The electrical beam struck 'Drill Warrior', negating its effect and causing its ATK to return to normal (ATK: 1200 → 2400).

"And since 'Drill Warrior' is a Level 6 monster," Clotho went on, before gesturing the thumb of his right hand at his opponent, "you'll take 600 damage!"

The beam hitting 'Drill Warrior' then burst through its chest and struck Fudo Go, causing Matt to grimace as he took some mild effect damage (LP: 4000 → 3400).

"Now you can't even attempt an attack this turn!" laughed Clotho.

Matt was frustrated, "In that case," he commented, taking a card from his hand and slotting it into his Duel Runner, "I'll Set one card face-down and end my turn!"

A face-down card materialized on the field in-front of Fudo Go before fading away for later use.

Back on the expressway, the dueling rematch between Michael and Orga commenced.

"Here I go!" yelled Orga, drawing a card, "It's my turn!"

Turn One: Orga Sabnak (LP: 4000)
Deck: 54
Current Hand (6): ?, ?, ?, "Gladiator Beast Torax" ?, and "Gladiator Beast War Chariot"

Upon seeing his drawn card…

"Well, well!" Orga chuckled, adding the card into his hand, "This looks like a good draw."

Michael frowned, not about to say anything that would bolster his enemy's ego. From there, Orga took another card from his hand and placed it onto his Duel Runner.

"I Summon 'Gladiator Beast Torax'!" began Orga.

Appearing onto the field was a 'Gladiator Beast' Fish monster wielding a scepter of sorts (Level: 3/ATK: 1400/DEF: 400).

"Now, I'll Set two cards face-down and end my turn," finished Orga, as two Set cards materialized on the field behind Calamity before fading away for later use, "Now then, 'Former King', it's your turn!"

"Again with the 'Former King' bull!" thought Michael angrily. He then drew a card and began his own turn, "It's my turn!"

Turn Two: Michael Atlas (LP: 4000)
Deck: 54
Current Hand (6): "Vice Dragon", ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Dread Dragon"

Adding the drawn 'Dread Dragon' Monster Card into his hand, Michael placed another card ('Vice Dragon') onto his Duel Disk.

"If my opponent controls a monster and I control no monsters, I can Special Summon his card (from my hand), but its original ATK/DEF become halved," explained Michael, just as a monster started to take form on a spot on the road, "Appear now, 'Vice Dragon'!"

Appearing onto the field was the large, purple dragon with green wings and reduced stats (Level: 5/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1200). Much to Orga's annoyance, that wasn't the only monster he would face this turn.

"Then, I'll Summon the Tuner monster, 'Dread Dragon'!" The voice of Michael went on, just as an orange-winged dragon with funky purple hair appeared on the field, too (Level: 2/ATK: 1100/DEF: 400). He motioned his right arm about and gave a command, "I tune Level 5 'Vice Dragon' into Level 2 'Dread Dragon'!"

'Dread Dragon' turned into two Synchro Rings, which 'Vice Dragon' flew into before transforming into five orbs as Michael was heard performing a Summon Chant.

"The ruler's shouts echo throughout! Hammer of victory, shatter the very earth!" chanted Michael, as the symbols 5 + 2 = 7 were shown briefly just before the five orbs of light within the pair of Synchro Rings turned into a massive beam of light, "Synchro Summon! Flap your wings, 'Exploder Dragonwing'!"

Appearing on the field, as the Synchro Summon sequence came to an end, was a gray-scaled dragon with fiery orange hair and wings (Level: 7/ATK: 2400/DEF: 1600).

"'Exploder Dragonwing'?" winced Orga.

"At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster: I can destroy that monster, and if I do, inflict damage to my opponent equal to the ATK the destroyed monster had on the field," explained Michael, going over his monster's sole effect as focus went towards 'Exploder Dragonwing', "This card's ATK must be greater than or equal to the ATK of that monster to activate and to resolve this effect," To prove it worked in his favor, he entered his Battle Phase, "'Exploder Dragonwing', attack 'Gladiator Beast Torax'!"

Obeying the command to strike, 'Exploder Dragonwing' leaned its head back and charged flames in its mouth before the attack name was called out.

"King Storm!" The voice of Michael howled.

'Exploder Dragonwing' let out a huge blast of fire towards 'Gladiator Beast Torax'. At first, it looked like the attack would be successful, but Orga seemed to have other ideas…

"And you expect me to take your attack that easily?" huffed Orga, "Get real!" He then made one of his Set cards reappear on the field behind Calamity, flipped it face-up, and revealed it to be… "Counter Trap, 'Gladiator Beast War Chariot', activate! When an Effect Monster's effect is activated, if I control a face-up 'Gladiator Beast' monster: I must negate the activation and destroy it," A barrier formed around Calamity and 'Gladiator Beast Torax', "Now, watch as 'Exploder Dragonwing's' attack backfires and it goes down!"

'Exploder Dragonwing's' King Storm struck the barrier and got deflected, striking the dragon head on and causing it to explode due to its destruction.

"What's the matter?" laughed Orga, "Has the 'Former King' run out of good moves already?"

"Keep talking!" warned Michael hotly, before taking and slotting two more cards into his Duel Disk, "I Set two cards face-down and end my turn!"

Two face-down cards materialized on the field before fading away for later use.

(elsewhere…)

"This duel is just getting started!" insisted Matt.

"Get ready to be taken out!" boasted Clotho.

(elsewhere…)

"The King will not be defeated by a wild animal like you!" shouted Michael.

"Your crown's gonna become all mine, this time!" declared Orga.

And so, three different duels (David vs. Vincent, Matt vs. Clotho, and Michael vs. Orga) were underway. With each side determined to win against the other, it was anybody's guess on who the winners would actually be.

(elsewhere…)

Outside the abandoned warehouse, Vincent's loud, arrogant, now somewhat evil-sounding, laughter could be heard coming from inside the building.

(inside…)

Inside the warehouse, David and Vincent were still in the middle of their duel, and the tied up Lisa was still watching it from her chair nearby.

"Do you understand now, robo-boy?" demanded Vincent, after another quick, deadly snicker, "Do you understand that you are absolutely no match for the 'new me'? In fact, right now, you should be feeling honored to be fighting the new and improved 'Level-up King'. You'll also feel honored when you lose to me like you did when we both had our very, very first duel in school!"

David stared on in defiance as a faded image of a laughing Vincent (from shoulders up) appeared near the warehouse ceiling as said laughter echoed throughout. Was David going to defeat his bully once more? Was he going to save Lisa? And what about both Matt and Michael, were they going to defeat Clotho and Orga respectively once again? Stay tuned for the next chapter to find out!
