Sonic POV

I look around the kingdom of Asendel, it is a lot more wide than tall than my kingdom. Asendel has stone flooring, with water and bridges all around the central area. In the central areas shows little stores and food stands along the stone pathway, but there are no citizens around.

"Probably because they knew I was coming",

I look up and see a big towering castle with a blue flag on the tip waving proudly in the air. I stood there looking at a kingdom I have never seen before and that caused me to get pulled away from standing there, taking it all in. I follow the guards down the stone pathway straight to the castle, where I am guessing that is where they are going to heal me at. I try to turn my head around to see if the princess was following us, but my head got turned around by the guard holding my arms making sure I don't make a run for it. One of the guards speak saying

"Don't worry about what's behind you boy, because aint no one about to help nor save you". I chuckle at his statement and lean my head back to him.

"Save me huh? I am pretty sure I don't need saving from some water guards", I say and then all the guards laugh and the one to my right says,

"Wow princess Amelia was right, the fire kingdom really is full of hot heads", he chuckled his voice was deep and gritty. All the guards laugh and walk a little faster than was order last time because they knew it would hurt me. Soon we reach the kingdom and I am presented with more guards. The guard to the right of me comes up to a guard and explains the situation that is going on and they look past him to me. Suddenly the sharp pain from my rib increases causing my leg to limp but I am once again raised on my feet. I feel my heat temperature drop and rushing to the wound.

"Ahhh, that one almost made me pass out", I think while now sinking my head to the floor in pain. I suddenly hear the doors swing open and then I hear heels on the stone pavement head towards me. It was a tan bunny and she lifted my head up and looked at me with disgust. She wrapped my head in a weird fabric covering my eyes and then we started moving again into the castle. We make several turns in the castle until we get to a room and I hear the door unlock. The guards pull me in and then place me on a table, and I feel them take the handcuffs off and the fire returns to my palms as my powers come back. But seconds later I am now chained to the table and I feel my powers go away.

They take my blindfold off, and a bright light shines in my eyes. My eyes slowly adjust, and I see the guards that were holding me move out of the room and close it behind them.

I hear those heels again and I look to my left at the bunny who looked at me like a I was spoiled milk. She grabbed a pair a scissors and I moved immediately sending a sharp pain to my rib in the process. She stopped as she saw me move. She sighed and said

"Look I am just trying to cut off your armor, we need to see your wound better. I breathe and watched her moves as she leaned more to me. She grabbed the top of my armor and began to cut away until it was cut in half showing my bare chest with a piece of metal stuck in it. She leaned down to look at it and she looked back at me evilly. I tried to move away from her, but I couldn't get free of the cuffs. She scoffs and says, "Hey calm down Prince, I am just making sure it isn't infected and it isn't which is good but I do need to get this out so Princess Amelia can heal you.

"When did she have healing powers", I thought as I watched the bunny go grab something. She comes back with a needle and a tool to take out the rest of the arrow. She places the tool on the side and readies the needle to go inside me. I weakly say "What's…that", and she places her hand on my side and says, "Just something to numb you, unless you like pain", she says, giving me a flirty sadistic face. I stare at her and I was about to say something back until I felt a sharp pinch of the needle go into my side. I exhale as I feel the cold liquid go through my veins.

The sadistic bunny walks away to throw the needle away and comes back with some medical cloths to wipe the blood from my wound. She then pulls out some what looks like cleaning liquid and pours some on the cloth. She winks at me and says, "This may sting a bit but I'm sure you are fine with that, hot stuff", she presses the cleaning liquid onto my wound, and I inhale sharply as it makes my wound feel cold in a way. I soon relax and I breathe weakly as I lean my head back seeing the room spin.

I look over on the other side of the room I was in and I see more supplies and medical things on the wall. I turn back to the sound of tools clicking together and I watch her take the arrow from out of my side. I feel nothing based on the medicine I took. She took out the metal and threw it in a plastic container. She placed her tools in there too and then looked up near the entrance and said

"Okay your turn Princess," she said with a smile. I look my head up to see the Princess looking at me with worry and then back to the bunny nurse and smiled. The bunny nurse walked up to her and gave her a short hug and then walked out of the room leaving me alone with the princess.

The princess walked up to me slowly and looked at my wound, she sighed in relief and slowly placed her cold hands on my wound. I winced and looked at her annoyingly.

"Your hands are really cold", I said, she looked at me and shook her head.

"You really aren't as warm as you use to be either, so I am going to try to patch this quick", she said focusing on my wound. As she said that I just realized how cold I felt since the walk up here. I looked at her focused face and then I looked at her hands covered in my blood. I slowly looked back up to her focused face and stared at her and then said

"Thank you".

She looked me and shook her head and said "No I should be the one thanking you… you really saved my life and I am grateful. Her eyes sparkled and soon a light green light started to appear from my wound.

"Well now you are saving mine, I guess we are even", I said. She looked at me and smiled softly and looked back at the wound. She was still smiling after my comment. I looked at her face while she healed me.

"Her smile is nice, I feel like only a few people get to see that", I cleared my throat causing her to look at me quick to make sure I was okay.

"Oh, are you okay? I am not hurting you am I", she said cautiously. I could tell she didn't want to put me in harm any more than she has in the last 32 hours.

I look at her and say

"No, I'm fine, sorry but your beautiful smile threw me off, you should smile a lot more I feel like the world barely sees it, it's definitely brightening the room". She stops healing me for a moment and then continues and she looks as if she is trying to scramble to find the words to say but I speak again before she could reply to that.

"You are also very cute when you are embarrassed, but you never look that way in front of your people. I like that".

Of course, her face goes red and the light green light healing my wound gets brighter. I chuckle a bit and I look down to her hands seeing the ring once again.

"What's the ring for, are you engaged", I ask, and she looks me embarrassed even more and says.

"No, I am not ENGAGED", she spats "It's my mother's", she says softly now and the green light from the healing softens. My eyes wonder up to hers and she looks sad.

"I want to hug her" I think, and I move to reach for her, but I remember that I am chained down. She sees that and stops healing me and moves to unlock me. She unlocks me and my heat comes back warming up my whole body and probably the room. I bring my arms down and thank her and she nods softly. I look back into her eyes and I sense hurt. I lean up and she looks at me shockingly and pushes me back down gently.

"Hey, I am not done yet! Please don't move like that", she lectures to me. I ignore her and pull her to an embrace. I feel her heartbeat skip a beat as her chest is pressed to mine. I also adjust my body temperature, so it is comforting to her.

"So-Sonic what are you doing", she says but doesn't pull away.

"I am just hugging you because you looked sad. I thought it would help", I say.

"Thank you", she said softly and leans more into my embrace. I lean up more to hug her a lot more comfortably and I begin to rub her back. I hear her breathing change as my warm hands wander her back.

"Wait what am I doing" I think as I comfort her. I slowly feel her arms wrap around me and she presses her face onto my chest. After some time passes, she takes a big inhale and leans up, facing me. She looks all around my face like she wants to say something and then her eyes stop at my lips. She leans into me close and presses her forehead against mine. I look up to her deep ocean blue eyes and race my hand putting it through her thick, soft, pink hair. She leans into my hand and then leans closer to my face. My other hand that was on her back travels more down to her bottom until the doors bust wide appearing the bat who slapped me earlier.

Amelia quickly breaks out of her trance pushes me off the medical table causing me to hit the floor, trying to make it look like we weren't doing anything. I wince on the cold floor as I hear Amelia and that bat whisper violently about something. Amelia then comes to my side and helps me up. She gives me a "Shut the fuck up look and tell no one face" and I roll my eyes and lean up.

I look at the bat, who looks like she wants me gone more than ever. I smile at her and wave. As I wave Amelia's red face is now close to me again but now, she is just touching my wound more than my back, softly. The bat folds her arms and stares at us too and I look back down at Amelia who is just trying not to make eye contact with anyone. I want to say something, but she told me not too, so I just look back down to the pink haired princess healing me as I wait for my wounds to close up.

Amy POV

"I can't believe I did that, I am so fucking stupid…. I am pretty sure rouge is going to give me an earful after this. Also why is he just staring at me…didn't he not catch my face when I told him to not make things so obvious.

I feel his skin finally coming back together and breathe heavily, I look up to his emerald eyes and blush even harder than before. I stutter out.

"It's healed", I say while backing up a little. He slowly looks at me then down to my body and then to his side. It healed like nothing never happened. He looked back up to me and said thank you, with a smile. I nodded and looked at rouge who was still looking at me crazy. I cleared my throat and turned back to Sonic who was already staring at me with same look when I was on top of him. I make up something and say,

"Alright Prince Sonic we can go and give you a room now and I will have one of my maids bring you something to wear and eat, I have things to take care of here later so I will come back and check on you later", I said to him going back to my princess stature and he looked at me amusingly.

He got and bowed to me sarcastically and said "Oh of course Princess Amelia for I will forever wait for your return!", I scowl at him for making fun of me and I turn away open the doors and ask my maids to do some tasks for Sonic so he can feel more comfortable.

"Where are you going though", he asked seriously. I turned to him and said.

"Well I talked to my father and my commanders and we have been thinking about the random person who took out one of your commanders". He stared at me and then looked at rouge and laughed.

"So are you sure your friend, didn't just kill my commander before your team goes to search for this mysterious person". Rouge walks up to Sonic with a quickness and throws a punch at his head and he dodges it and grabs her arm and he looks her dead in the face and so does she. He leans up to her and says,

"Do that again and I will really make a fool out of you", Sonic says. She rips her arm away from him but does not take a step back.

"You make me sick", she says looking Sonic up and down.

I walk up to them and spread them apart from each other and say. "If you both don't stop then I will personally hurt both of you".

Rouge backs away from Sonic while sonic stays in the spot he was in. I look to the entrance and see my maids with some clothes for Sonic. I thank them and I hand the clothes to Sonic which he grabs, he looks at them and then looks at me.

"You do know I can burn these up easily right?", he says putting on a grey shirt.

"Well you better not be using fire in my kingdom ever then", I say threateningly.

He scoffs again and begins to take his pants off without warning and I look away quickly not trying to see anything and I hear him whisper something under his breath, but I am not going to pay it any mind.

My maids come back to tell me that the room is ready, and I thank them once again. I look back at Sonic who has on black comfortable shorts, and a grey shirt.

"Okay the room is ready so follow me "I say, and I begin to walk. I pass Rouge and she begins to follow me too and I tell her I will be back momentarily. She breathes to say something but Sonic walks through us and looks around the castle. The castle walls are a nice marble with gold accents in it. The floor is a Burgundy carpet and that is statues of famous old queens and kings from the past.

I walk away from rouge and motion Sonic to follow me. We walk past a huge water fountain and Sonic looks at it with amazement. I watch his face until he slowly looks at mine and then I turn away. Soon we make it to his room where he was staying, and I unlock it for him. The room is nothing fancy but is fit for a fire bender. A queen-sized bed, closet and view looking out to the backyard filled with flowers, roses and guards training. Sonic walks up to the window and stares through it watching them train intensely. He looks back at me and smiles. He takes steps towards me and I move eye contact from his eyes to his feet. He stops a few inches away from me and speaks, "So you walk me away from your general to talk to me in private…are you going to find this guy who killed my commander without me or did you bring me here to tell me you need my help in doing so,"

"Well I, - "

He steps closer to me, now our feet are inches apart. He looks down in my eyes and whispers, "Or were you bringing me here to plan against Rouge… my Princess".

"Huh why can't I move…I feel this way every time he gets near me. It's almost like the heat from his body is causing me to move closer". I smack his hand from face and shake my head "no". He laughs at his joke and releases my hot face.

"I... um... wanted to talk to you about the killer of your commander", I say trying to control my thoughts, "I hope you do believe me when I say, my people did not harm yours, but I do want to find him so my does not get looked down upon", I say confidently. Sonic takes in what I say, and he turns around and goes to sit on the bed and thinks about what I said.

"How do you know it was not your people", he says

"Rouge said she saw it happen, after we crossed your walls and got caught by the guards. I created a mist for rouge to get away and then rouge told me she saw a man in purple, strike at your commander… with ice." I take a deep breath and continue, " at this rate we have no idea where this person has come from or his motive but he had to be watch me and rouge the entire time to fake like it was me who killed your commander or her.. but now we need to find them and put a stop to it so innocent people won't die".

"So did the guy look like the guy in purple that you were attacking earlier in the bus- "

I walked up to him suddenly and stopped him from talking and he looked at me concerningly. "That man was doing poisoning bending and made me think he was me… like he looked just liked me and then I am guessing the poison was still in my body after I knocked him out and when I looked at you..you looked like someone I knew", I explained.

He looked at my still confused like but nodded his head and said

"So that guy knew we were coming basically, we must have been followed",

I nod my head and sit beside him on the bed. I stare at my feet and then I look at his. Ours were both dirty. I open my mouth to speak and I say

"This person has been following me and rouge ever since the beginning of trying to spy on your kingdom and then after me and you escaped… I feel like this person has more people with him as well... they are after something and I am not sure yet, but I think me, and you should go find them without telling my people or yours".

I look up to him, wanting to know how he felt about my plan and he was already looking at me.

"Well?", I say, wanting an answer. He slowly turns his head from me and says.

"No", he says blankly.

"Did he really say no" I thought.

He gets up and walks to the bathroom and turns on the water. I watch him check the temp of the water and then put his feet in it. He shivers of the water and warms it up with his fire causing the water to boil quick. I stand up and walk to the doorway of the bathroom door. I watch him as he continues to wash his feet and then he puts some water on his face from the faucet. I reach and turn the water off causing him to stop cleaning his feet and look at me.

"Why are you saying no to my idea"', I ask.

He continues to wash his feet not making eye contact with me and then says

"It will put you in danger and based on your fighting skills and if you and me were to go out there looking for some random guy not even knowing what he looks like or what bending abilities he has, we would be walking straight into a trap based on that he is already following us ".

"Okay so we wait for him to attack us?", I asked throwing my hands in the air. He looks at me and says.

"Well what else can we do; my whole reasoning was returning you back your kingdom and going back tomorrow to reassure my people as well that I am not dead".

He stands up and drains the waters and pats his feet dry and then walks up to me slowly and then passes me rubbing his strong pecks on my shoulder. I watch him move past me and hop in the bed and crosses his arms around his head. I turn the light off in the bathroom and close the door behind me. I look at him as he relaxes on the bed.

"Fine… I will go by myself then if you do not want to help me, I am leaving tonight", I say, and I turn for the door.

"You are going to what? He says sounded confused.

"I am letting you know that I am going to go find this person killing innocents and if you choose not to come then I will go by myself", I say as I grab the door handle.

"Amelia wait", he says while getting up fast and walking towards me,

"Did he really just call me Amelia"

I turn around to see him a few feet away from me and he says

"If you go by yourself you won't make it, this guy took out one of my finest commanders in the kingdom".

I turn to him and smile softly. I take a few steps closer closing the gap in between us.

"Well Sonic you better come with me to change that outcome, but you don't I won't be defeated so easily, nor will I be defeated in the first place", I say and I turn around before hearing him speak up loud and clearly.

"Okay, I'll come but as long as we follow my plan".

I turn around one more time, smiling like a spoiled child getting their way.

"Sounds like a deal then", I chirp and Sonic rolls his eyes and goes into detail about his plan.
