Sonic POV
Amelia and I sit by the window and discussed the plan on fighting this man making the fire kingdom and Asendel go against each other even more which is not what I want to happen. Amelia and I are looking down at a map discussing where this person might be and how we can use our powers as water and fire to distract any kind of bender. As I explain the plan, I can't help but to look at Amelia at certain moments and take in how serious she looks when she focuses.
The way she moves her mouth, points at the map, and moves her deep blue eyes. I then look down to her lips remembering how close they were to mine when we were in the medical room. I look up from her lips and notice she is staring at me. Suddenly I feel my face get hot and I stand up immediately. She looks at me confused at my sudden outburst.
"I THINK WE SHOULDN'T WEAR OUR KINGDOMS COLOR", I yell. She then covers my mouth with her small hands. My face gets hotter from her touching my face and she yanks her hands back, shaking them vigorously to calm them down. I notice what I have done and grab her hands to apologize.
"OWWWW", she says yanking her hands back from my hands.
I look down at my and notice they are as hot as my face just was. I watch Amelia water bend water from a nearby cup of water to cool her hands. She sighs in relief and then looks up to me.
"I am sorry", I said shyly
"Why is my heart beating so hard…...and why am I speaking so softly", I thought and then Amelia takes steps back closer to me and puts her hand on my cheek once again. She smiles softly and says
"I don't think I have seen you blush before ever, Sonic", she says mockingly.
I roll my eyes at her statement. She looks to the door and then back at me with those greedy ocean blue eyes. She slowly slides her hand down to my neck and then to my chest. I breathe in heavily as she places her hand on my peck. I look back up to her eyes after watching her feel along my body.
"Wai what is she…maybe I should stop her-" My thoughts are caught off from her delicate fingers going down lower to my pants, she looks at me and bites her lip as she puts her hand up through my shirt, feeling my chest all around.
I grab her hand from doing anymore, snapping her from her trance.
"We shouldn't do this," I say calmly looking at her face go to seductive to confused, "I just think it would be pointless and get in the way on this journey if we were to go any farther".
She looks at my eye and back down to lips.
"You do you think what would be pointless", she says pushing her small curvy frame against my body.
"What happened to the princess from two secs ago…"
I let go of her hand and gently push her from off of me. She stays in the spot I put her in and stays. We stand in our spots for a moment and then a knock comes to the door. Amelia doesn't even look at the door because she is still looking at me, like a cheetah eyeing its pray. I look at the door and then look back to her expecting her to say something, but she doesn't, so I get up and open the door.
SPLASH!
I fall backwards from the force of the unexpecting water and get pushed back all the way to the other side of the room where I was standing with Amelia before. The whole room is being caved in with water and I look over to Amelia in a bubble protecting herself from the water. I gathered all my fire up and exploded it away from causing it to make the room turn into steam. I finally hit the wet carpet and I see a tall man with purple hair enter the room with royal Asendel clothes on. He has a grey beard and the same color eyes as Amelia. The tall man enters the room and then brings in another tsunami of water, busting the window out. I watch all the water go out of the window and then I find the man in front of me.
Amused at his power, I stand up slowly and I press my chest against the one who purple hair.
"Prince of the fire kingdom" he boomed in my face. His eyes were stone cold but had a wise tint in them. I made sure not to break contact because I fully knew who this was.
"King of Asendel", I say back confidently.
Amelia comes in between me and one of her people once again and turns to her dad.
"Dad, this was very unnecessary, please calm down", Amelia says but her dad looks at her like he is about to blow up.
"AMY, I TOLD YOU TO BE IN MY OFFICE AT AFTERNOON AND HERE YOU ARE WITH SOME HOT HEADED, KIDNAPPING THEIF", he yells at her.
I watch Amelia as she takes another sigh and simply says
"Father for the last time I have explained that he did not hurt me in anyway, he helped me come back here and- "
Her father cut her off by grabbing her hands and pulling her out of the room. I stand watch them yell at each other and the doors are closed behind them by guards. I stand there and then I look at my soaked bed and room. I sigh and I look outside to the benders training and looking at my window, wondering what the commotion is about.
"Hm, I should go down there, I have nothing else to do."
I jump out of the window and blast myself to the training field. I land softly and of course all eyes on me. I smile simply and wave at the citizens of Asendel. The rookies were looking at me in shock, while some of the fire benders stop using their ability. I looked around at everyone and spoke.
"Hey, I just need to practice really fast, it's been while since I have trained since I was babysitting your princess so who wants to dance". No one moved until I saw the red hedgehog from her royal guard approach me with nothing but fire in his eyes.
Amy POV
While getting pulled by my father heading to my room I am thinking. I wonder back to what I did to Sonic as my father scolds me.
"His heat from his chest really pulls me in, I feel like I can feel it from far away just by looking at his eyes. He is so warm... so nice... and different. I think I might be crushing on him, but I am not sure if he feels the same way, even after we go into this plan tonight will we even be something afterwards ... will we just go back to being enemies. His warmth is so tempting...maybe because he reminds me of my mother's embrace. That's why I can't control myself because I miss that feeling.
I look down at my feet feeling a wave of sadness go over my body, I can't not even hear my dad yelling at me anymore, nor can I hear our footsteps up the stairs.
I just feel me.
Suddenly we stop, bringing me to my senses. My father looks at me concerningly and place both of his hands on my shoulders.
"Sweetie did not mean it when I said you can't talk to boys, it's just ones that are from that fire kingdom are dangerous," he says, "You know they are personally sweetie… I just don't want to be in danger again, the fire kingdom are very violent people and I just wanted to let you know- "
I shake my head and push past him forward to my room. I walk in and I close my door and I lock it. I walk to the window and close my curtains and I rush to my bathroom. I take all my clothes off and throw them on the floor. Before I hop in the shower, I see myself in the mirror. Teared face, and eyes red from crying. I also look down at my breast and then to my thighs and leg. I look at the scar on my leg and I touch it. The skin feels waxy and stiff. I stand up immediately and I walk into the shower. I wash myself for 15 mins and enjoying the feeling of the water on my back. I water bend the water out of boredom into circles. I turn the water into full globe-shaped ice. I stare at the ice globe and I throw it in the air, and I turn it into snow.
The snow falls all around my naked body and I walk out of my shower. I grab a towel and dry off and I toss it to the floor. I walk out of my room and over to my closest. I pick out a black waterproof crop top and some waterproof black tights. I close my closet and walk back into my bathroom and grab my brush. I brush through my long hair and I re open my curtain. I look outside and I see a big blast of fire heading from an area where the first was shot from. I drop my brush.
I then see huge rocks, come from the ground and slam down back into the earth. I backed up slowly and took off towards the fighting ground.
"IF SONIC IS FIGHTING, I SWEAR TO GOD", I scream in my head as I slide down the stairs going to see where the commotion was coming from. I run and dodge maids cleaning the floor and I bust outside. I run as fast as I can, and I see a crowd of people who were training watching the fight. I push through but no sees me trying to get by. I look towards the nearest water fountain and I jump in it. I create an ice pillar from under my foot and I launch myself in the air, over the crowd. I land on the ground in the middle of the fight and as soon as I land, I see fire heading towards me, I shield but rock pillar is formed in front of me, blocking the blast from the fire.
I here gasp from all over and then I turn around to see where the rock came from.
Axel
I look at him confused and I look passed the burned rock to see a blue haired hedgehog with a burnt shirt on and shorts, that didn't cover anything anymore showing his thick quads. I look at him and frown.
"Princes- ", I stop in my place and I yell at Axel
"QUIET IT, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT", I said while making my way to the hot idiot ahead of me. He is smiling at me and raises his hands up in self-defense. I grab him by the little bit of his shirt left and say
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING BLASTING THAT IN THE SKY LIKE THAT", I yell.
Amusingly he shrugs and looks back at Axel, "I was just practicing with someone who thinks I put you in danger, even though maybe it never would have happened if you didn't keep your eye off of her", says Sonic.
I gather water from a river of water and water bend it into a river blasting sonic out of the training ring. I then turn to Axel and I tell him to make this crowd disappear and to close down the training grounds for the rest of the day. Axel stares at me and some of the crowd is already starting to leave because what I said out loud.
"Princess I am sorry for causing a scene, I could not let him make you seem weak in our name", he says looking at me seriously. I look at Axels body to make sure he is okay. His shirt was kind of burned and he had sweat forming on his forehead. I take his hands and say softly.
"Thank you for protecting me from the fire blow". He looks at me softly and smiles. I look at him and notice that he is giving me a different look than usually. He then runs his thumb on my hand and lets it go. He then turns around and going back to his position as the leader of my royal guard and tells everyone to clear the area.
I sigh and then I turn around to the blue idiot, sitting in a puddle of water looking at the sky. I look at the sky and I notice that it is orange.
"The days are getting longer and longer; I think to myself"
I look down to catch sonic look at my new outfit and I put on and then back to my eyes. He smiles slightly and sits up from the ground. The rest of his burnt shirt falls off of his body as he sits taller, I shake my head.
"Okay, please stop fighting with all of my people and let's go get you some actually fire bending clothes", I say, I hand him my hand and looks at me and takes it.
"So warm" I think and suddenly I am pulled on top of him and he hugs me. My face immediately turns into a bright red as I am on top of the Prince of the fire kingdom.
"PRINCESS I AM SO SORRY FOR ALMOST BURNING YOU INTO A CRISP" he yells at me dramatically. He then lifts me up bridal style and I wrap my arms around his neck so I wouldn't fall.
"I'm so confused, it's okay real- "I was cut off by Axel ripping me away from Sonic and into his arms. I looked at Axel who has an angered expression and he gently set me on the ground.
"Axel it's okay, he was just teasing" I say but Axel hears nothing as he stares Sonic in the eyes with a killing intent. I look at Sonic and he looks…different. The kind eyes I usual see are gone and all I see is him grinning diabolically at Axel. I grab Axel's shoulder trying to stop him, but he shrugs me off. I watch a flame pop into Sonic fist. Sonic then starts walking towards Axel. I stand again to reach to grab Axel again until I feel the ground shift and move me back to the entrance of the training field and huge walls shield the training area.
My eyes widen as I see what Axel is trying to do.
"Fucking idiots", I think in my head as I look around me for an earth bender, but the area was empty. I grab some water from the water fountain beside me and I start running. As I run a fire blast comes through rock wall and I disintegrate the blast with the water from the water fountain. All the water turns into steam and I turn around looking for more water. I then remember the whole in the wall, and I notice he has not put it back up. I start running towards the hole and then it is closed up. I stop in my tracks and I look around for other ways to get in. I look at the wall and I touch it. It's too smooth for me to climb as expected of Axel to do so I wouldn't stop him.
I hear yelling from in the cave wall and look at it in worry. I turn around and run towards the kingdom in look of my earth bending guards.
Sonic POV
"Wow this is the most fun I have had since your princess was laying on me", I say grinning widely.
"You won't being saying that once I knock those teeth out, prince" he spats back at me.
The flames in my body dance around in my blood and veins as I stare at the person who was trying to crush me with two big boulders created from the ground. He launches at another boulder at me and I dodge it barely and I notice he completely disappears from the spot he threw it. I look around while landing on the ground and I see a shadow cover my area quickly. I quickly stand on my hand, shoot a big blast of fire at the boulder, with my feet. The boulder breaks in pieces and some huge chunks of it hits the ground. I look at where it came from and I didn't see the earth bender. I look all around and I look ahead of me seeing a boulder heading straight for me, but I jumped quickly in the air, dodging the boulder by a second and as I jump in the air, I see him on the boulder he threw. He leaps from the boulder and kicks me straight in the balls with all his strength. Sending me flying to the ground.
I land on the ground and gasp for air. I slowly clench my "no no "area. Tears prickle in my eyes and a sharp pain comes to mt stomach and I scream in pain. I squeeze my eyes shut in pain as I hear Axel land in front of me. I stare at his feet and I try to move but my stomach does more backflips than ever.
"I know a cheap shot right…usually I aim for the face, but it looks like you move a little too fast with your fire speed. "he says normally.
I inhale another strong breath, trying to speak but nothing comes out as I roll to the other side away from him. I hear him laugh as I breathe heavily, trying to calm the pain in my body.
I here Axel slam his foot on surface and then rock pushes me to the other side of our fighting field. I tumble and fall on my face causing my forehead to bleed a little. I hear Axel's feet in front of me again and he kicks me over on my back. "Just letting you know Prince, never disrespect Lady Amelia and also never touch her like that again because you guys will never be anything, a citizen from Asendel would never talk to a fire kingdom wimp like you who can't even save themselves from a little fight for 3 mins", he barks at me " You will fail just like your mother did", he says at me and then lowers the rock walls back into the ground.
"What did he just say... just like my mother did...". I roll over and I look at the now dark blue sky while I'm in pain. I feel fire boiling from inside me causing me to stand up. Struggling to stand up, I look at Axel and I watch him walk to him and then I start running and my running turn into sprinting. He turns around the last second and I collide my foot to his face sending him across the training field into the wall of the castle. I land on my feet and stare at him from afar. He pushes himself from the hole in wall and I dash to him.
Axel earth bends to pillars trying to stop me from coming at him but these moves were old moves to me, and I ran along the pillars. A secret pillar comes from nowhere and I slide on my knees on a pillar I was already running on. I get close to him and I punch at him. He catches my fist and earth bends a rock out of the ground, but I spin off of it twisting my arm around and I kick under his feet making him fall to the ground. I create a big heat from my body causing Axel to wince on the ground as my heat is too intense. I straddle on top of him and his voice echo's in my head repeatedly.
"You will fail just like your mother did". Rage boils through my body and I punch him in face again, and again, and again and again. Blood was spewing everywhere on the concrete. I felt my hands ache from the hits I did to his face. I then yell at him and say
"YOU KNOW NOTHING OF MY MOTHER" , I yell and after that punch, blood slashed on my face," THE WATER KINGDOM IS FULL OF IDIOTS AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN ERATICATED WHEN MY MOTHER DIED, " I yell and at this point I am not even hitting him hard anymore, I am just throwing punches to his swollen face, " YOU KNOW NOTHING", I say as I feel a hot tear run down my face.
"S-s-s-Sonic stop…. Please", I hear a faint voice say. I feel arms go around my body. I turn and look who it is and its Amelia, gasping for air after walking into my hot heat not a normal person could handle. I quickly stop my heat and Amelia takes a big gasp of air. I turn to her and look at her face, but she is tear stained and is looking passed me. She shoves me out of the way and grabs Axels beaten face. I look to my right hearing footsteps of a lot people come and the big guard from earlier whacks me with a rock pillar.
Knocking me out completely.
