SONIC POV
I stand up slowly looking at the green hedgehog. He now has on different clothes. A grey shirt revealing his chest that has a scar on it and some black pants that hugged his ankles.
"Sorry for the abrupt hit to your shoulder… I didn't want you touching something you shouldn't have anymore", he says cockily.
I chuckle and laugh.
"I'll accept your apology once you aren't able to move anymore", I say back.
He looks at me up and down and shakes his head. He starts to walk to Amelia's body, and I start moving closer to him. He looks at me walking over and he pushes me back by moving the ice back.
"Woah, woah what do you think you are doing", he says acting fake confused. I look down to my feet as I notice I am moved away. I look up and I also notice that he is touching her face. I jump from the moving ice and I blast my fire with my feet, and I land beside him grabbing his hand from her face. He slowly looks at me in the eye unfazed and yanks his hand back away from me grip.
"Man, so touchy and we haven't even gotten to introduce ourselves properl-"
I punch him in the face hard causing him to take steps back and he looks at me unfazed again.
"I am not here to talk about anything" I look at him darkly and notice that he is smiling at me.
"Expected from fire royalty… you guys are always so hot tempered, just like your commander", he says eyeing me up and down like he was studying me.
"I said I am not here to talk!" I said while running at him. I punch at him, but he dodges, and I hit the ground with a fire blast from my fist, making a huge hole in the ice. He then freezes the ice on my arm, and I get stuck. I look up at him seeing him charge at me with his fist and I catch it with my hand. His foot collides with my chin, causing me to fall back. I try to break the ice from my arm, but it doesn't break until I hit it hard with my fist using my fire.
"See, see I don't get it", he says while turning around and talking.
"You fire benders get so mad and fight aimlessly, like what I just did was something one of my youngest citizens could dodge… but you are just so angry, huh?"
I look at him confused as I hold my bruised jaw.
"Or maybe… you just feel so… dark?" he says now looking at me seriously.
"What… dark?" I think as I stand up.
"The fuck are you talkin-
I get cut off suddenly he ice bends sharp ice sickles from the ground with sharp point ends and I jump just in time and fly in the air using my fire.
"AHHH"
I look to the sudden noise and I notice Amelia is holding her arm in pain as blood seeps through her fingers.
"The icicles must have cut her" I thought.
I fly down to Amelia quick and the green hedgehog jumps on the table he is on looks down at me. I throw a fire blast him, over Amelia's body and he dodges it by jumping away from Amelia and moving a few feet to the right.
I watch as Amelia's eyes widen at the fire that just went over her and she looks at me in fear.
"Amelia you were poisoned" I raise my hands up and I look at her as she slowly leans up from laying down.
I watch her carefully as her feet hits the ice the floor. She then also starts to look around confused at where she is. I take a step towards her and her eyes whip back to mine.
"What do you mean I was poisoned" she says backing up a little from me.
I watch her move away from me and my heart hurts a little.
"Scourge poisoned you… whatever you saw was not me or whatever I did I didn't do to scare you or whatever happened didn't happen", I say reassuring her.
I reach my hand out to her and she looks at it cautiously. Soon, a laugh booms from the right of us.
"Now you see how the fire kingdom is so dangerous again, right?" he says while watching us from afar. He slowly takes a step towards Amelia and I stand in front of her. The darkness feels my vision as again and all I see is him and his stupid voicing echoing in this ice room.
"Sonic could destroy all the land if he wanted too, ruin lives, harm children, and even betray you Ames", he says still taking slow steps towards me.
Flames appear in both of my hands as he steps closer to us.
"Why help someone who is tied to so much evil and darkness", he says now looking at me in the eyes.
"Isn't it scary to be near someone with someone much power and evil intent… you know it's there but yet you choose to ignore it", he says now angrily.
I take a step towards him until I see pink hair walk past me.
My eyes widen as I watch Amelia move away from me and to him. I reach at her and I grab her arm, but she yanks it away from. She turns around and looks at me… like the other villagers did. The darkness leaves my vision and I grab at Amelia arm again. This time she doesn't yank away from me.
"No… I don't want to lose her" I think
"Amelia wait…" I say as that's all I can think of.
"GET OFF OF ME" she yells pushing me and I slip on the ground. She looks at me once more as I look at her from the ground.
"He is right Sonic… you are true evil, and I shouldn't trust you, you are cut from the same cloth as your mother and your father. It only makes sense that you would betray me in the end", she says to me in the most hateful tone.
"No Amelia, you know that's not tru- "
"But it is", Scourge says now moving up to Amelia and wrapping her arm around her. I look at them both and my mind starts to come blank…
"This can' t be real… why is she actually trusting him now all of the sudden."
I slowly stand up and I ball my fist up. I feel a sharp pain in my chest but I ignore it based on the betrayal I was feeling rush through my heart.
"I am about to blow" I think and then I speak.
"Amelia… are you sure about this?" I close my eyes waiting for her to say she is staying with Scourge.
"If she actually agrees with him, then I won't be able to stop myself for what is too come… my anger would truly overflow, and I am already starting to lose consciousness… I don't want to lose her…" I think and I clench my fist harder trying not to let the darkness take me until I hear her response.
"Sonic… I trusted you for so long, and after what I saw and experienced…" she then turns to Scourge and she hugs him. My heart starts to pound so loud It feels like fire is about to blast from my ears. I watch her as her hand traces up Scourge's face and Scourge puts his hand on her back as she feels his face.
"Looks like I am going to have to kill him… even if she doesn't side with me… no one takes away Amelia from me".
CRACK!
I snap out my trance as I watch Scourge's body blast away into the ice wall creating a huge hole in the wall. Blood drips from his nose and falls onto the ice floor. He then moves his hand to his nose noticing that it is leaking, and he looks back up at Amelia angrily.
"And after I experienced that BULLSHIT you put me through, I now realize that the only EVIL PERSON here is you, Scourge", she yells pointing a finger at him. She slowly turns around to me and runs to me. Her running to me looks so slow motion to me.
Like a leaf blowing in the wind during a fall.
"I really thought I lost her forever; I couldn't lose someone I let get close to me again"
She stops in front of me and holds at her hand. I look at her hand and then my eyes trail up to her arm, to her hair and then her deep blue eyes. I take her hand and it pulls me out of the darkness I was sitting in. Her head hits my chest as she hugs me tightly. I feel myself get hot quickly, but I calm it and I feel her laugh at me.
"Sorry for scaring you… I really wanted to punch him for tricking me" she says, and I look down at her as her angelic voice runs through my eardrum. Her smiles disappear and she slowly touches my face. My face goes hot and it stings her as she yanks it away.
"Ow! Hey, it's okay I was only pretending. I didn't mean anything I said", she says looking at my face for a reaction.
I want to speak but nothing can come to words. I really thought I was going to lose her but here she is in front me again smiling as usual. I never want to go back to where I was one minute ago. I really care about her and I wouldn't want to go through that again. I hug her tightly and she hugs me back as well.
"DAMNIT, DAMNIT, DAMNIT" I hear Scourge yells from afar.
I break from the hug and I watch as the crazy leader slams his fist on the ground repeatedly. Amelia and I both watch and I grab her wrist quickly moving her to the side of me. Scourge slowly stands up while still holding his noise and stares at the both of us with a killer intent.
"You motherfucker" he says now laughing "You just always win! It's always the DAMN FIRE KINGDOM TAKING EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME.
He stomps his foot hard in the ground creating a huge crack in the ice.
"Every fucking time your BITCH ASS IS ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING TO RUIN EVERYTHING FOR ME AND YOU NEVER SEE THAT. YOU JUST HAD TO GET HIT BY LIGHTNING AND NOW BECAUSE OF THAT SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE DIED AND SUFFERED BECAUSE OF YOU LIVING" he says and then launches a chunk of ice at us.
Amelia and I both move out of the way separating us, as the ice block hits the wall far behind us. He moves his hand away from his nose and then looks at Amelia.
"Ames… I have given you so many chances… so many and you are still going to be with someone who ruined everything for us…" he says his eyes looking pained.
"Fine… I will stop the fire prince and YOU IF I HAVE TOO" he yells and then water bends from the ice and blasts me to the wall and freezes it. He charges at Amelia quick, but Amelia unfreezes me from the wall and I try to fly towards him, but my foot is shot.
Scourge throws a punch at Amelia head and she dodges it. She sends a kick under his leg, but he jumps over it and ice bends an ice bat and swings it at Amelia's head. She ducks and dodges as he continues to swing aimlessly at her head not giving her time to think. I stand up and I try to run at him, but I slip, and I fall on my face. Amelia ice bends at the bat and freezes it in place but Scourge counters it and sends a punch at ribs hard. She winces ice bends herself back and slides up to the wall. She shoots ice sickles from the ice wall behind her and Scourge flips and tries to move out of the way, so he does not get stabbed.
"Fuck", I think as I try to stand on the slippery ice. I jump and I slide on the ice, trying to get to some dryer ice. I soon stand to my feet. I charge at Scourge who is now dodging sharp flying objects. I fly in the storm of piercing icicles, catching him off guard I raise my foot up and I bring down at his face. He freezes my foot, but it breaks easily based off the impact that was supposed to hit his face.
"COME ON, LET ME GET ONE HIT IN" I yell as the dark flame ignites in my body.
I shoot fire from my palm trying to burn him, but he shoots water at me creating a thick mist. I hear someone fly over my head through the thick mist and slam into Scourges body that was right in front of me. I hear a loud punch and I move out of the mist watching Amelia straddle Scourge and punch him wildly. He then grabs her hands and he try to push them away from him, but Amelia is a lot stronger, so she slips out of his grip and punches him again. Soon an ice blocks hit Amelia and she comes flying my way. I catch her and she looks to see that it is me.
Amy POV
My back hits Sonic warm body and we slide a little from the impact.
I look up at him and I notice that he is looking at me. Suddenly he pushes me to the side, and I look back up in confusion and I see a huge block heading his way. My eyes widen as I notice what is going on. I was about to turn the ice block into ice until Scourge appears above me with a sharp ice sword. I roll back as he swings the word down and it almost hits me. I create an ice sword with a quickness before he swings at me again. My sword meets his and he pushes me back with a force with it.
I try to match his strength until I see the big block slam into the wall where Sonic was. My eyes widen as I can't see Sonic anywhere.
"Pay attention" Scourge says headbutting me in the head causing me to stumble back. He swings his sword at my stomach and slices me lightly as I dodge him barely. I wince at the feeling of the pain. I change the sword into ice fists, and I grab the sword as he swings it at me again. I punch him hard in the stomach and I send my foot flying at him. He dodges my foot, but I trick him by ice bending a pillar at him from the wall with my foot. The pillar pushes him all the way across the room and then it hits the wall.
I turn my attention back on the huge ice cube and I jump over the pillar I created. I run to the damage done to the wall and I look around for blue hair.
"Sonic?" I say.
I ice bend the huge ice cube back and water falls from the ice cube. I look at in confusion and my eyes widen as I see a limp hand inside the ice cube. I turn the ice cube into water and Sonic body falls limp from it. I catch him before he hits the ground and I notice that he feels so cold.
"He must have blasted a hole in the ice cube before it almost crushed him in the wall, and then he couldn't get out based how he was stuck in there",
I quickly water bend the water from his body trying to make him dry, but he is still knocked out from being cold. I pull him close to my chest trying to warm him up but it's not like more normal body temperature could do anything. I rub my hands back and forth on his arms trying to create heat and soon I hear footsteps heading towards me. I look up to Scourge looking at me angrily. I slowly lay Sonic on the ice and I stand up. I start running at him and Scourge ice bends ice at my legs and I jump over it. He then moves his hand in a weird way and eyes widen about what was about to happen. I turn quickly and I run back to Sonic. I push him just in time an ice sickle goes right through my arm.
I yelp out as I feel the ice go through my arm. My arm shoots in pain but I try to ignore it and I slide Sonic body across the floor with the ice so he would be out of harm. I then look to my arm and then ice bend the ice in my arm, and I take it out.
I wince and I grab my arm that was already bleeding from being cut earlier.
"Doesn't feel so good, does its Ames" he questions now steeping closer to me.
"This isn't shit" I say slowly standing up in pain. The pain soon increases, and I fall to my knee as inhaling sharply as the pain shoots in my arm again.
"Hmm… I don't think so. Looks pretty painful" he says now in front of me. He swings his leg at my ribs that he has already hit again, and I fall to the floor in pain. I feel the floor move me quickly to the wall and it throws me too it. I wince as I hit the floor hard. I roll over slowly as I try to stand but Scourge lifts me up by putting his hands on my neck choking me against the wall. I grasp at his hands trying to get him to release me.
"Stop resisting! After I finish you off and THAT stupid prince. I will create the world we longed for as kids all along!" he yells at me.
I swing my arms up and over his arms and I elbow him hard in the face causing him to stumble back. I move to water bend him in the face, but he tackles me to the ground with my face on the floor. He presses his knee in back and his hand on the back of my head. I try to push up to get him off of me, but I can't.
Soon my face starts to feel water forming and I can't breathe. I try to freeze the water back to ice but his waterpower's are excelling mine. I can't breathe so my feet start to wave wildly in panic. I yell into the water and I hear him laugh as he drowns me.
"It's okay Ames… I will truly save you by sending you with your mom", he says calmly. My head starts to sink deeper as my ears are now covered by the melted ice.
"I can feel myself fading away", I think, and I slowly stop moving my feet. My chest hurts in pain as the water enters my lungs. I slowly stop thrashing as the ice-cold water enters my body. Everything goes dark.
