Amy POV(finally I missed Amelia)
I open my eyes slowly to dark red sheets and extra fuzzy blankets on my body. I look around slowly as my vison blurs in and out.
"Sonic"? I question softly into the room I didn't recognize.
I slowly try to lean up, but my sore ribs and torso tell me to lay back down.
I remember I was stabbed through my torso, so I move my arms. My arm yells in pain too causing my eyes to open wide. I breathe slowly and I look over at my arm to see that it is heavily bandaged.
The pain increases and I push myself up with my good arm and I sit on the big queen-sized bed. I heal my arm immediately feeling the sharp pains calm down here and there.
I look around the room and I notice how big it is. The room walls were burgundy with gold ascents all around it. The room had the normal furniture a bedroom would have but there is a piano in the far corner closer to the big windows that was letting the sun in. I also see big doors leading into somewhere.
"Sonic"? I say now getting confused of where I am.
Something catches my eye from the window, and I see something moving. I swing my feet off of the bed I stand up slowly as my feet hits the cold floor. I also notice that I am in a big dark blue shirt that seems to be kind of worn.
"Ahh, my body feels so broken" I think as I walk slowly to the window in soreness.
I look outside and my eye hits a flag.
"The fire kingdom…flag. Does anyone even know that I am here?" I think as I stare at it.
"But … since I am at the fire kingdom where is- "
"Blaze come on I don't need any help" says a voice I think I recognized.
"Sonic you were gone for days! The least I can do is help you and understand more of your situation. Come on, I'll help you get ready for the party" a feminine voice says on the other side of the door.
"Wait. Let me open the door to MY ROOM" Sonic says a lot louder.
My eyes widen as I look around where to hide, I look to the right and I see more doors. I walk quickly in pain to the doors and I walk into the darkness of the room.
I close the doors behind me, and I stand still as I hear the doors open with voices coming in.
"Sonic why are you acting so weird" questions a female voice.
"Uhh, nothing just thinking about what my dad said. Sorry if I am acting a little on edge" Says Sonic.
"Oh. Maybe you I can do something to take the edge off" the female says.
"What did she just say" I say to myself quietly pressing my ear on the door.
I suddenly here noises and shuffling. The bed then makes a noise causing me to stop breathing and listen quietly.
"Blaze stop. We talked about this remember" Sonic says softly.
"I know we did but I haven't seen you in forever so I can't imagine what it must been like not having my care and affection for you" says the girl.
I remove my ear from the door and I back away from it in the dark slowly.
"Does he… have a girlfriend… what does she mean when she says that- "I trip on something in the dark causing me to fall to the floor hitting a wall behind me. Things fall on me as hit the floor loudly causing the voices in the other room to stop.
My eyes widen and I try to get up and hide but my ribs hurt from the fall. Footsteps come fast and I try to think of something, but nothing comes to mind. The doors open wide and the lights flicker on causing me to squint. I slowly open my eyes to a purple cat that was wearing a red tank top showing off her muscles and black pants that hugged her hips tightly and Sonic had on fire royal clothes with no shoes as usual, looking at me in concern.
The purple cat then gasps, and a fire whip appears out of her hand.
"YOU" she says, and she throws her whip at me and I dodge it by rolling over without hurting my arm.
"BLAZE WAIT STOP" Sonic says grabbing her wrist.
I take this time to crawl away from her reach as her and Sonic fight at each other.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN STOP! THAT'S THE- "Sonic covers his hands over her mouth and closes the closet door.
"Listen, I can explain" he says still holding her wrist and her mouth.
I see a shelf and I grab at it trying to bring myself up, but I fall back down hitting my knees causing my ribs to hurt. I wince in pain and I feel a blast of heat from the area Sonic was.
The purple cat thrashes against Sonic grip and Sonic sighs loudly. He wraps Blaze body around his arm and covers her mouth. Blaze reaches of his hand and tries to take it off. Sonic slides down in the corner of the closet with Blaze in his arms and his eyes moves to mine as he tries to contain the purple's cat anger.
He mouths sorry and I ignore it. I turn away from his gaze and I try to stand up on my own again.
"Blaze… please just calm down. She isn't going to hurt us. I saved her after my father told me to kill her and I just couldn't. She helped me kill the leader of the Equalist". He says calmly and obviously annoyed.
Blaze whips her head back at Sonic and her heat decreases. Sonic then moves his hand from her mouth.
"… I don't even know what to say to you… so everything you told your dad was lie?"
"It was kind of a lie. I just didn't tell him who I was with", he says.
I watch them talk and then I look at how close the purple cat was close to Sonic as she sat in between his legs.
My eyes then trail up her body and then to her eyes that meet mine. I blush quickly and I turn back around to trying to get up.
I hear her sigh. I turn back around to them and I see her standing up and walking towards me. My eyes widen and then she stops at my reaction.
"Um… Sorry for the rude introduction before, usually I am not like that. I am Blaze. Sonic's top general of the fire force guild" she says reaching her hand to me.
I stare at her hand and I look at it.
"Princess Amelia of Asendel" I say quietly, and I reach my hand out, touching her warm hand.
She shakes it and then looks at my arm and frowns.
"Sonic! You could at least show her to your shower! Look at her arm" she says.
"Well she wasn't awake when I left so I didn't just want to throw her in there- "
"Doesn't matter! You are talking to a true princess"; she says talking to Sonic.
"Sorry about that Princess Amelia. Prince Sonic is usually more polite than that. Would you like to take a shower? I would not mind helping you." She says looking at my bandages.
"I'm pretty sure I know how "Prince Sonic" acts more than you think" I think.
"Yes. That would nice", I say.
Blaze smiles and picks me up with ease raising me to my feet. She places me on the ground and then grabs my hand, pulling me out the closet. Sonic stands as he sees her pull me out. I try not to look into Sonic eyes after the comments I heard in the room and the things she said burn in my thoughts.
Sonic clears his throat thinking that I am going to turn around and look at him, but I don't. His sweet girlfriend or whatever she is turns around looks at him in annoyance.
"What?" Blaze says.
"Nothing. Just clearing my throat, but I am going to go to get some food for the Princess" he says.
"Good idea! We will see you when you get back" Blaze barks.
She then pulls me along to the bathroom. I don't look back as I know he is looking at me. I do raise my middle finger at him them though secretly and I hear a scoff from behind me.
Blaze pulls me in the room, releasing my hand she closes the door behind me and skips ahead of me to Sonic big bathtub. She turns on the water and closes the stopper. I take the time to look around his bathroom and it is oddly very clean. His entire bathroom was the same color as the wall in the bedroom, but the floors were a white tile. He had a big mirror on the side with a beautiful sink. The bathtub was comforted by the sunlight coming the ceiling.
I watch blaze pour some body wash in the tub and I stand back watching her.
"Feel free to get undressed. This might be weird that someone you just met is about to see you naked, but I am sure both of us have been in more awkward situations" she says adding more stuff in the water.
"What does she mean by that" I think as I grab my underwear and pulling it off.
I grab at my shirt and I struggle since my body was not healed all way, especially my arm.
She turns around and looks at me struggle.
"Here, let me help you" she says.
I nod and she grabs my shirt and gently moving it from my body revealing my bra to her. Blaze walks around to my back and unclips my bra. She takes it off and grabs my other clothes. She tosses it in a bin and then looks at me. A blush goes over my face and so does her face.
"I- I will go get a towel for you. The water isn't hot like Prince Sonic likes it, so I try to make it to your liking since water benders are kind of different than us" she says and goes to get the towel.
"Ugh this girl just won't stop rubbing in how much she knows about him than I do"
I nod trying to hide my annoyance and I walk to the tub. I step into the water, making sure it isn't 100-degree water. It wasn't and so I place my other foot in the water. I slowly ease myself in the water as my butt touches the bottom of the tub. The water comes up to my collar bone.
"I could heal myself in here" I say out loud softly and a green light starts to surround my body. I lay my head back as I feel my body heal.
I close my eyes and steady my breathing as my body patches its self-back together. I hear a cabinet close causing me to open my eyes and look at the direction of where it was coming from. Blaze was looking at me from afar watching the green light glow from the bathtub.
"Wow, I have never seen a water bender create that much of a glow while healing before" she says moving closer to me, sitting on the edge with a clean white towel. She grabs my arm and starts to wash it with a towel.
I watch as she washes my arm in confusion.
"Uhh, why are you helping me… usually fire benders despise me but here you are washing my arm… I am just confused", I ask, and she simply smiles.
"Well, Sonic told me you weren't the enemy. After hearing his story about all what happened I believe you aren't against him. Even though seeing you in his closet definitely shook me a bit, I had to ground myself quickly to the situation" Blaze says and then moves lower to my legs. The wet towel touches my leg causing me to look at it.
"Besides… such a strong water bender you are. It would be so wrong for me not to take this opportunity to study my enemy"
My eyes move to hers as she washes my leg more slowly studying my skin.
"Wow, the scar that ended it all, hm… warriors from the war talk about how you were struck which ended in our Queen being hit in the process" she says and sighs letting go of my leg and standing and moving around the tub, reaching for my other leg and washing that in the process.
"Sonic is so confusing though. Leaving me alone with someone who is basically the reason of our queen dying that day. Just imagine what I could do to the princess of another kingdom. If I wear to kill you right here and now, then everything the Queen died for would be completed." She says darkly and her she moves her towel closer to my inner thigh.
I move lean up only to have her push me back down to the back of the tub.
"Hey! What are you- "
I stop talking as she moves closer to me with her gold eyes piercing into mine.
"But I won't do that because Sonic told me not too, but he knew I would enjoy looking over your body. A daughter born from a fire and water bender, that has to be first! It just makes me wonder what other powers are hidden underneath these muscles of yours. "She says inching closer to me and she eyes my lips.
"And you see what also doesn't make sense is how Sonic was looking at you once we left the closet…"
Blaze moves the towel away from my right and then rubs the towel on side of my face.
"What happened out there? What really happened out their because since Sonic is lied to the King about what happened then I am sure he is hiding something else… right?" she questions now wiping my neck.
I say nothing as she stands up and walks away to grab a bucket of water.
"Well that's understandable if you don't want to tell me after threating you … I just want to know what happened to my sweet prince" she says.
Water pours on my head going through my thick pink hair. She rubs hands in my hair making sure to get any dirt out.
"You two must be close then" I question.
"Yeah, we have had a crush on each other since high school but lately he has been so distance lately… we talked about a relationship, but he says he isn't ready for that yet. Make sense though since he has been training to be a king one day"
Blaze walks back to the tub reaching in water and I move my legs away from her scared thinking she is going to touch me again and observe my body.
Her eyes look at mine in amusement and she loosens the tub lock and the water starts to drain.
"Here is a towel whenever you want to get out! I am going to go fetch you some of my clothes to wear and based on the size of your boobs we might be the same size so don't worry!" She says and places the towel on the side on tub.
Her comment makes me cover my boobs and blushing causing her to laugh. I watch her walk out of the room and I remove my hand from my chest. I notice my arm isn't hurting as much anymore but I continue to try to heal my body even more making sure I don't miss any wounds or bruises.
I relax my head back and I the green light comes back. The green light moves to my torso and my arm. I close my eyes and try to think about what just happened to me.
"That girl is so strange… and why did I agree for a stranger to help me wash my body… maybe it's because the way she acted but she has a whole different side to her. It's almost scary like on how she was only helping me because Sonic asked her too. If he never asked her or if this was a different situation, she would defiantly try to kill me or even harm me" I think causing me to open my eyes and look towards the door she walked out of.
"I have to remind myself that these people aren't my friends. That I am the big enemy in their eyes. Maybe she was trying to tell me not to get comfortable… also what's with her and Sonic. Are they going to be a thing…"
I start to frown in anger as I think of about Sonic.
"Why didn't I think of that either? Sonic is a whole prince who could basically have anyone he wanted. Ahh, this is so frustrating! She keeps on acting like Sonic is hers and- "
I cover my mouth and blush as I notice the jealously in my mind.
"Wait! What am I thinking? Wait… what am I thinking… Sonic has promised me that we would be together but now I am just being hidden in shadows and he is still treating me as someone else. A stranger. I understand he has to let them know easily but I was not ready for this… its kind of hurts" I think as I touch my chest and I sink more into the now empty tub.
I hear voices causing me to look to the door.
"Sonic chill! I am giving her the clothes right now!" Blaze says and closes the door behind her she places the clothes on the counter and then looks at me, cocking her head in the process.
"Why haven't you gotten out yet? You are going to catch a cold." She says and walks over to me.
"I was just trying to heal the rest of my arm" I say, and I start to stand, stepping out of the tub.
She wraps me in the towel and starts to dry the water on my body. I watch her carefully as she moves down to my leg. Her eyes stop to my leg and she licks her lips as she looks at my calf with the scar. A blush appears on her face causing me to yank the towel away from her.
Blaze giggles and stands up turning away from me.
"Sorry about that… you really are just so interesting to me" she says and opens the door.
My eyes meet Sonic's jade ones and I blush madly covering my body with a towel and moving to the side, hiding my wet body from his gaze.
"Well she is healed up as well and she has clothes now so she will be out soon" Blaze says and closes the door behind her.
I peak my head out making sure no one could see me. I walk to the clothes while still holding the towel to my body. I look at the clothes laid before me. A simple black bra, underwear, a black shirt with red writing on it, black socks and some grey comfy shorts.
I put on the clothes and then after that I use the towel to dry my hair. I drop the towel in the bin. I walk to the door before I walk out the mirror catches my eye causing me to stop for a second.
I slowly lift my knee up, looking at the scar on my calf. I place my leg down quickly and I grab the handle of the door.
"Am I really the reason why he lost his mother" ?
