SONIC POV
"Yeah, so then Sonic blasts fire through his feet after I slammed cake into his face and burned his pants off in front of the entire party!" Knuckles says making everyone, but Axel and I laugh as he brings up one of my embarrassing moments.
"Wow, that's priceless!" Rouge says holding her stomach and laughing as she walks between Knuckles and Blaze.
"You should have saw his father's face when he saw Sonic with no pants at his birthday party! It was great!" Blaze exclaims making Cream chuckle to herself as we walk over a grassy hill.
"I rather not see the king's face at all" Rouge says making everyone laugh at her dark humor joke.
I fold my arms as I get made fun of.
"I thought I put on the right pants…" I think to myself as I remember my 15th birthday.
The past couple of hours have been very unusual but at least everyone was getting along. After I made everyone introduce themselves, Knuckles slowly started to talk to the people from Asendel and they slowly started to open up to him. Especially Rouge, which made me angry to why she was being more friendly to him than me. I frown to myself as I hear them laugh together again and then I suddenly stop as I notice that Axel has stopped once we made it to the top of the hill.
"What the…" Axel says as he looks around.
I walk up to Axel and the wind blows as I look at the big mountains that stood before us. There were many mountains and thick trees covering the ground of where the bottom of mountain could be, but it was hard to tell with all the random hills, rocks and grassy plains covering it.
Rouge walks up as well to look, and she gasps as she looks at the area.
"What's wrong? Just a bunch of mountains and trees." Blaze asks while walking up with her hand on her hip.
"No… this wasn't here before. All of this. This land wasn't here before." Rouge says as she kneels and takes out her map and placing it on the grass.
"Look." Rouge says as she points at the area, we are supposed to be at.
"This… is where we are. Do you see all this flat land and sand? That is what use to be here but now… it's completely transformed." Rouge while looking up at the area of mountains and trees.
"Do you think she is there? Seems like a lot of places to look." Blaze says and Rouge shrugs her shoulders.
"I'm not sure anymore." She says softly closing her map up.
"Well… are we still going to go search for her in there? Maybe if we split up it would go by faster." Tails says.
"That's not a terrible idea. That way we can cover all the areas and see if she is there." I say.
"How should we split?" Knuckles says.
We all kind of look at each other and Axel starts to walk off leaving his on the top of the mountain.
"I don't care what you guys are doing but I am going on my own." Axel says and starts to head left of the huge bundle of trees and mountains.
"Hey Axel! You can't just go one your own! - ugh he always does this." Rouge says and I stare at him.
"It's okay. I'll go with him. You guys pair up and don't lose sight of each other." I say as I take off behind him.
"But he doesn't even like you! And how are we going to find each other from this huge forest?!" Tails yells at me and I shoot myself in the air and I turn and shrug my shoulders.
"Worse comes to worse we can just come back here! Or I'll shoot a fire beam or something. We will figure it out!" I yell and then I land behind Axel making him look slight back at me and then he scoffs and continues to walk.
"I don't need an escort."
"Well, you need a partner. Did you hear what Rouge said? She said this entire area didn't look like how it should on the map so an earth bender must have done all of this work." I say and Axel doesn't respond making me laugh." Good thing I am walking with an earth bender so maybe you can feel Amelia's foot vibrations or something- "
Axel stops and turns to me slowly.
"It's Princess Amelia. Princess. Not Amelia or Amy. It's princess." He says and I scoff as he turns back around to enter the forest.
I open my mouth to respond back but then I realize that if I were to start something between Axel then we would never find Amelia. I place my hands behind my head and stare at the sky as I follow the angry royal guard captain and I sigh heavily.
"Right. Sorry."
Axel and I had been walking through the forest for so long that the sun was setting, and the bugs had come out to sing the songs they sing every night in the bushes and thick trees. By the way we had been walking it's starting to feel like we had been walking around the planet almost and my feet were definitely hurting from stepping on random rocks and roots that was stick up from the ground. But Axel was still going and looking around for the princess while calling her name out from time to time. While he did that, I just looked around mostly as well for any signs of life that had been walking through as well and there were no clues.
"Princess!" Axel yells again and I sigh and then I stop walking.
"Okay. I think we should stop for now and regroup with everyone." I say but Axel keeps on walking. "Hello? Axel we- "
"Like I said in the beginning. I am going by myself so if you want to go find the others and take a break. By all means do so. Matter fact you should just go find them anyway and leave me alone. "Axel says as he climbs over a fallen tree and I climb over it as well." Plus, I never asked for you to follow me in the first place.
"But we all agreed on working together and it is getting very late so we should- "
Axel shoots a rock at me that I dodge late, and it crashes into a tree and breaks apart. I lean up from dodging and I look at the rock that should have hit me and then back to Axel who was still walking. I close my eyes to try to keep myself from blowing up and I walk up to him this time, grabbing his shoulder.
"Axel. Let's just go find the others- "
Axel shrugs my hand from his shoulder and looks at me like I am crazy and then he walks up close to my face with his nose almost touching mine.
"Next time you put your hands on me. I am breaking them." He spats to me and I chuckle.
"You don't have to be so hostile towards me. How can you even be this angry at me all day?" I say as Axel turns around from and starts to walk again, ignoring my question.
"I'll just signal them in the sky and follow Axel since he refuses to take a break. I am sure Rouge or one of his people can get him to stop."
Fire comes from my feet and I fly all the way on top of the forest. I look around causally to see how far we had walked, and we were super deep in the dark forest. I shoot a flame in the air and I wait to see if anyone was looking. I look all around for someone and I notice that Axel was still going so I fly back but I still shoot fire in the air while keeping up with him.
Suddenly I see a light flash back at me and I smile since I knew one of my people were safe. I make my flame bright and the flame starts to move towards my way and then another flame appears on the other side of the forest and they flicker at me as well. I look around for one more and then another appears from the left and I try to slow down but Axel was moving at such a fast pace that caused me to move more away from them.
I turn around to Axel who was looking around on the ground and I fly over his head.
"Hey! I see all three of them! Everyone is okay!" I say and Axel doesn't respond to me again and I shake my head and watch the flames get closer to us.
Soon everyone come together so I fly on the ground to meet them and Blaze smiles at me as she runs up to me.
"Hey! So glad you are okay!" she says, and I smile back at her.
"Same here. Did you travel by yourself?" I ask and Blaze nods her head.
"Yeah, it was slightly uneven with the group pairing I just nominated myself to look around." She says and then she looks past me at Axel. "Good to see he didn't try to fight you or anything. "
"Well, not yet." I say making Blaze laugh and Tails, Knuckles and the rest emerge from the murkiness from the trees and jog up to us.
"Yo! Any sign of her yet?" Knuckles says as Rouge walks beside him.
"No. Not one sign of her for me. What about you guys?"
"Nothing. It's almost like no one comes in this forest at all by the way the grass and roots looked. This forest looks so untouched but at the same time. This all used to be desert and sand, so everything is just really confusing right now." Cream explains and I nod my head.
"That's okay. I say let's rest somewhere and take a break. Axel!" Rouge yells and we look back to him to see that Axel had stopped and was kneeling on the ground.
Axel raises up and then he looks around rapidly, making me look around too and then he starts to take off down the forest.
"Amelia!" he yells as he takes off and I start to run after him.
"Hey! Wait for us!" I yell and everyone follows me as we follow him in the process too.
Axel keeps on running and I blast fire out my feet to catch up with him. I notice that we are heading to the end of the forest as I see a more moon light hit the ground and Axel stops. I stop quickly and hard as I almost run into him. The others come out of the forest too and we look around at the vast open area.
"What…" Rouge says walking beside Axel.
We were standing on a cliff and down the cliff was a huge area that had sand on the far left and the more trees on the right. Thick trees but what caught our attention more was the thick mist and what seemed to be is a mountain that was covered in the mist as well but the way it swirled around the forest, rocks, and the huge mountain before us made the area look so threating.
"…Why is the mist moving around like that. How is that even possible." Tails says walking up and then I come up as well and I look at the ocean that sat on the side of the land.
"Maybe its protecting something. Just look at how its moving. I could barely even notice that it was a mountain from here, so it has been something that it is protecting." I say and Axel takes a step forward.
"Axel." I say and Axel freezes." Let's just take a break here. We can all just get just get our energy back and head back out at first sun."
Axel turns to me and everyone looks at him as well. Axel then walks closer to me and Blaze pushes out Infront of me with heat blaring at him.
"Blaze, don't." I say and Blaze keeps his eyes on him and then Rouge touches Axel.
"Axel we don't time for this." Rouge says and Axel turns to her.
"Yeah, you are right. We don't." he says and then he pulls his fist out and opens his hand.
My eyes focus on a ring that looked very familiar and Cream and Rouge gasps as they stare at it as well.
"A ring? What's so cool about it?" Blaze asks and Axel closes his fist and walks even closer to me.
"It's Amelia's ring." He says and Axel starts to look more pissed, so I move Blaze out of the way which she does move and then I stare Axel in the face.
"This ring was her mothers. And I found it on the ground which is what made me run out here. Only to see that there is a whole other part of the world below us and you guys want to take a break after Amelia going missing for over twenty-four hours and you want to stand here and say let's take a break." Axel says and then he looks behind me." Tails is it? "he asks and I look back at Tails who seemed timid.
"This is all your fault. I don't see why people are trusting someone who has possibly killed our princess. Look at the ring. It covered in blood like she was trying to stop the bleeding with her hand. "Axel shows the ring to everyone and Rouge looks off sadly from the sight of it.
"I'll kill you." Axel says and he takes another step forward Tails and I stand in front of him.
"Wait." I say and Axel stares at me angrily.
"We all want revenge against each other, we all don't trust each other. But we need each other. Fighting isn't going to bring her back, which should also be our main focus." I say but Axel continues to be violent as he stares at Tails.
"You do know he probably killed her right? You are protecting someone who is the reason we are all out here. You are protecting someone who hurt Amelia. You like her, right? So why the fuck are you protecting someone who made her disappear- "
"Axel!" Rouge says and Axel slowly turns to Rouge.
"We have to do this later. I think Sonic is right when he says we should just take a break and start again at dawn. Just drop this anger and we can deal with it later, because trust me. I am pissed too that someone who hurt Amy is just walking around so causally looking for her again."
Amy's friends look over my shoulder to Tails and then they look off.
"Let's get some sleep and start again in the morning. We found a clue that she is somewhere near by so everyone just thinks about it and we can create another plan in the morning." Rouge says and they start to walk off and Axel looks at all of us one more time and then turns away following them.
I drop my hands finally and I look back at Tails who is looking off. A sigh escapes my lips and I look at my friends.
"Let's just get some rest and start over tomorrow." I say and they nod their head silently.
I look off at the mist as they find a soft spot of grass to lay on and I lay down on my side as I watch the mist swirl.
"Please be okay."
Next day during the afternoon
"Amelia!" Axel yells out once again as we had been walking for hours once again and only taking a few breaks here and there. I would fly up out of the forest to call her name out sometimes as well, but it seemed like she was nowhere to be found yet.
But we didn't give up and we scavenged the entire land trying to find some more clues like the Queen's ring we saw that Amelia was still nearby but not seeing any more clues were making me anxious.
"Amelia!" Axel yells as he looks around and into the holes of trees.
I watch for a moment and then I walk up to him.
"Hey, maybe we should call another meeting. I feel like we aren't getting that far, and we have been looking all day. Maybe someone found something." I suggest and Axel keeps on moving.
The sun blares through of the branches and I walk up to him.
"Or not. But hey let's talk about where she could be." I say as I walk beside him, and he continues to look around for her.
"For one. I think someone has her. That's obvious because walking here from my kingdom seems unlikely of her to do. She would have just walked back to Asendel if she wanted but she but… her ring being all the way out here is insane. At least Rouge was right about her location but… knowing that someone has her, I know it's going to be fight appearing soon. So, we are going to have to work together to get her back." I say and Axel doesn't reply.
"You can at least say something. I am trying hurry the process of finding her- "
"Fine. Bring them here. I have an idea anyway." He says and I nod my head.
I fly up and I feel annoyed that I was following orders, but I put that behind me since finding Amy was so much more important.
Especially after seeing that ring.
I shoot fire in the air and I wait to see a flicker, but it was showing brightly since we were under the mist clouds and air. Three flickers of flash back at me and then they start moving quickly to the area I am at. I lower myself back on the ground and Tails zooms over with Cream on his and so does Knuckles with Rouge and Blaze.
"Did you guys find something?" Rouge asks and jumps off of Knuckles quickly and runs up to me looking around.
"No, but Axel has a plan, so I called us all in." I say and Axel earth bends a rock and sits down for a moment.
We walk up to him and Axel clears his voice.
"I've been walking for a while and listening to the earth and I noticed that the mist is not moving like that because of nature but the by the way the mist rubs against the ground. I am sure someone is controlling it. So, wherever we are heading, people are nearby. And that's all I can. But there is a mountain so I think we should all walk together and head towards it but we can spread out so we can look around the area as we go." He says and we all agree.
"Every step I take I am listening to all vibrations and movements so as we walk don't stomp as loud as the prince so I can try to feel her vibrations." He says and I frown.
"You could have told me I was being too loud." I said and Axel shrugs his shoulders and stands up.
"Let's go."
We all follow the plan and we spread apart in the straight horizontal line as we head towards the mountain. We stayed 12 feet apart as well to make sure we were covering most of the land we could as we journeyed through the thick mist. Every step I took I started feeling more worried since someone took Amelia so far from my kingdom.
Strangers and who knows what they are doing to her but hopefully nothing bad has happened since there was no signs of struggling or fighting so it seems like they just took her away and also that means Amelia was probably passed out.
She would most likely fight if some stranger was carrying her, but she didn't, so I am guessing she is unconscious as well.
"Hey! I found some fruit! An apple trees!" Knuckles yells from afar and we all stop at the sudden voice.
"Come on! I know we all are hungry! We haven't eaten in a while!" Knuckles says and I look around at everyone and we reluctantly agree as we make our way to Knuckles.
"Or we can continue our search for Amelia. What if she needs us?" Axel says behind me and Rouge pats him on the back.
"If she does then we do need to be in the best shape to do so a break doesn't hurt. Axel you need to chill. We are going to find her." Rouge says and Axel rolls his eyes and then he looks at mine.
"What." He says and I smirk and look back.
"Nothing, I was just tuning in to the conversation. Sorry." I say and I continue to walk forward.
"Why did your friend shoot her besides her being a water bender. I just don't see how you let something like that happen." He asks and I almost freeze.
"Because I killed Cosmo… but I can't tell them, that now. It would distract them."
"Axel come on. Let's just stop thinking about that for now." Rouge says as we make it to the tree.
"Cool. I won't have to explain now. Thank Rouge." I think to myself as we stop at the tree.
Knuckles jumps out of the tree with multiple apples and starts to pass them around. He hands one to me and I reach out to grab it and then the area goes dark. I blink multiple times to get it to go away but it doesn't budge.
"What? Why now." I say out loud and then I bring my hand down.
"You should tell them." Says a voice and I turn around quick.
I see nothing but darkness as I search for the voice and then I turn back around to see someone. Someone I recognized and as her hand touches my face. I look over her bloody shirt and blood drips down her mouth as she touches me with her blood covered hands. Her green hair floats as she lands down on the ground in front of me and brings me closer to her.
"You did this to me. So, tell them." Cosmo says and I stare at the hole in her skull as she looks at me.
Her hand traces down to my chest and touches and pushes lightly sending a sharp pain to it and I wince and close my eyes hit the ground.
The pain increases and I place my palm in grass as my chest starts to burn even more and then I feel a hand go on my shoulder.
"Sonic?" Knuckles says and I open my eyes to see me looking at me confused and I look down at my hand to see the apple was placed in it. "You okay? You zoned out for a moment."
Before I open my mouth, I notice everyone else looking for me and I start to nod my head.
"Yeah, I'm fine- "
I stumble back a bit and Knuckles catches me drops the apples as I started feeling faint.
"Woah, hey sit down for a moment." Knuckles says and I nod my head but that didn't help since my head was felt like it was surfing.
"Make him a chair." Rouge says and Axel rolls his eyes and creates a seat for me.
I sit down and lean my head back and everyone starts to surround me.
"What's wrong with him?" Cream asks and Tails walks up as well to touch my head.
"I just feel a little dizzy. Must be the lack of food or something. But I am fine." I say trying to convince them, but they still seem concerned.
"Grab him an apple and Rouge can you make us some clean water from the mist which mean axel can you provide us with some stone cups. Maybe we should all take a break." Cream says and comes up to me to touch my face.
Cream water bends water to my face and starts to heal my head, slightly relieving some pressure from it. I close my eyes and sigh in relief as the pressure from my head was leaving and I feel an apple come in my hand.
"Thanks… Cream." I speak.
"Just make sure you bring my best friend back." She says to me.
"I will."
As we take a break my people sit down beside me on small piece of earth Axel created from the ground. The water Rouge made for us was perfect too since I forgot how long we have been going without it and I started to feel my energy come back quicker.
Knuckles hands me another apple I eat it quickly and then I stand up making everyone stop talking and stare at me.
"We should start going again. Sorry, for the delay. But I feel better now." I say and everyone starts to get up and throw their cups and cores onto the wet floor.
"Let's go." Axel orders and we all get in position again.
So many times, passes that the sunset had passed again, and we took two more breaks in between and there had been no sight of Amy and there were no clues. The only thing I saw for the past few hours were multiple trees, grass, rocks, bushes, and dirt. That was it and this stupid foggy, mist. The mist was slightly ticking me off, so I blast in the air and I fly through the mist and I keep on going until I was out of it. Cool air flows past my head and I look to the right of me at the sun that looked sinking into the water and I look back to the direction we are going and just more and more mist that was going down the land.
"Hey! Are you going to come back down!" Knuckles yells and I fly back down to the ground and I step on a stick.
"What was that about?" Tails asks and then the rest of my people approach me.
"I was just getting some air and I was also trying to see if we were getting any closer. The mist is getting thicker but let's keep walking." I say and then I step on something hard.
I look down and I notice a piece of wood. My eyes wander to up and I notice more wood that was on the ground.
"Hey… come check this out." I say and everyone follows me.
I pick up a piece of wood and I turn back to show them.
"Okay, wood. What's so crazy about that." Axel says not being impressed and I point at the ground.
"There is a lot of it, and it looks like a trail almost. Let's follow it." I say and I start following the wood pieces.
I pass a bush and I notice that it looked like it got smooshed by something, so I walk up to that as well and then I frown my eyebrows.
"Guys, I think I am noticing a sign of fighting." Blaze says as she looks around.
Blaze picks up a white bandage and walks up to us. I take it from her hand, and I turn to show the rest of them.
"IT has blood on it. It doesn't seem like old blood either. I think this all was recent." Cream puts in and we all look at each other.
"Okay, let's look around this area. We can go in three's since we have two healers. Sonic, Tails, and me and the rest of you can link up with Rouge." He orders and we nod our head.
"Call out for her name but don't let your guard down." Axel says and then walks to wear Blaze found the bandage and we follow him quickly.
I look around carefully and quickly as we follow Axel, and we call her name out from time to time. The wood starts to go to the right, but Axel and Tails continue to walk straight.
"Hey, I'm going to go this way. I'll be back! You guys keep going." I say and run off towards the wood and I follow it.
The wood starts increasing and so does the mist as I fan my hand through it, and I notice a small wooden house was Infront of me. I look at it and I notice that there was a huge hole in the wall. I fly into the hole and I see a wooden table and medical supplies scatter everywhere. Some glass was on the ground, covered in a weird liquid. I touch down to feel it and I frown my eyes in since I was so confused of the area. I light a small flame since it was getting dark and I look around the damaged house for any clues of Amy, but I saw nothing. I sigh and I walk out of the house through the hole and my ears perk up as I hear yelling.
"What- "
A medium sized flame erupts in the mist and then rocks fly through it. I duck just in time before I boulder hits my body, and it smashes into a tree beside me.
"AXEL! STOP!" I hear Rouge yell and my heart kicks up.
I take off towards the yelling and another pillar of rock gets shot out above me and I walk up to see Axel fighting Tails. Axel throws a punch a Tails and then hits him with some earth and Tails comes flying my way and his back hits me as I try to stop him from flying through the mist.
"Argh!" Tails says as we both fall back and then more flames appear in the mist.
I place Tails to the side, and I run through the mist to see Blaze battling Axel. Blaze jumps on Axel back and Axel grabs the back of her shirt and throws her to a tree which she flips around and lands on her feet to stop her from hitting the tree. Axel then prepares to throw another block at her and Blaze comes at him as well. I jump in-between them just in time and I grab Blaze body and I duck down fully as the block flies past us.
I move my hand out as Axel aims at me and I stare at him angrily.
"Stop! We don't have time for this!" I yell and Axel looks at us angrily and then he turns his shoulder and runs into the mist.
"Shit! Tails move!" I yell as I get off of Blaze and she gets up as well to help me out with Axel.
"Axel! Stop it!" Rouge yells again and then a big huge wall gets earth bending from the ground.
"No! This piece of shit deserves something to happen to him! "I hear Axel yell and I bust through the wall.
Axel punches Tails in the face and lightning starts forming at Tails hand as his eyes start to turn gold.
I rush over to them and them as Tails charges his lightning and then I wrap my arms around Axel's body and blast fire with my feet, ripping Axel off of him and I fly back until hit a tree and lightning ruins through the mist as Tails shoots it forward.
"Tails, stop! Knuckles says stopping Tails and he picks him up.
Tails has blood streaming down his nose, and we all are breathing heavily after trying to kill each other and trying to stop us from killing each other. Axel gets up and throws me off of him and stumble a bit as I watch Axel closely.
"Calm it! We can settle this after!" I yell and Axel breathes heavily.
Cream and Rouge walk up to Axel, but Axel walks towards Tails making me run over to Tails and Blaze does as well. Axel scoffs and passes us and continues to venture into the thick mist.
"Hey! Where are you going!" I yell and I look at Tails and I raise him up.
"What happened? I left for two seconds." I ask and Cream comes up holds Tails nose up.
"He isn't over what I did too the princess. I was about to call your out and not leave me with the guy but seems like you forgot." Tails says and Cream starts to heal him.
"Shit you are right. Sorry, I forgot. But I'm going to go get Axel. You guys stay together." I say and I jog off to find him.
As I run through the mist, I finally catch to Axel who was clenching his fists hard.
"Hey!" I yell and then I jog more, and I touch his shoulder. "Just calm down- "Axel grips my arm slams me to a tree and moves close to my face.
"You don't get it!" He yells at me and I stare at him back in his eyes. "You are walking around with someone who hurt Amelia! You do see that right? This guy hurt Amelia and now she is missing! Missing and someone took her and who knows if she is okay? Yes, she is the princess, but she is my best friend too and I can't walk around with someone who possibly killed her!"
Axel words run through my head and I look off.
"I do… understand. The reason why I haven't done anything to him is because he is my best friend too and I did the same to him…. Years back." I say and Axel looks at me confused and let's go of my arm.
"What do you mean?"
The moon was starting to settle in and swallow heavily.
"I… I was ordered to kill his girlfriend." I say and Axel chuckles.
"And? That's normal fire bending behavior to do since you guys have no soul or remorse for anyone- "
"No, it's- "I try to gain the courage and then I look at Axel in the eye.
"It was water bender. Her name was Cosmo. My mother she made me do it and that's why Tails did what he did to Amelia because she was in my kingdom. Nothing getting done to her compared to what happened to Cosmo. So that why he did it. Because of me- "
Axel fists comes across my face and I stumble to the right. I blink a couple of times and Axel earth bends a sharp rock in shape of a sword and points it at me.
"Cosmo… our Cosmo? The Cosmo who was a secret spy in your kingdom." He asks and the look in his eyes makes me stop talking.
He looked hurt.
"I'm… I'm going to kill you." He says and the ground starts to rumble below me.
I look down to it and I jump up quickly as sharp rocks come from the ground and I fly in the air barely dodging them. I fly backwards and the sharp rocks still come after me as I fly past trees and branches. Suddenly Axel appears besides me and swings the sharp rock near my face and I lean back just in time for him to scratch my cheek.
Another sharp piece of rock comes behind me and I fly over it only more to follow me. I continue to fly through the mist as I try to think of a way to stop him, but I couldn't think fast enough as a rock comes front of me and hits me. My back collides to a tree and I wince from the impact.
I fall down to the ground since the sharp rocks had stopped and Axel appears there, and I earth bends a rock and slams me to the ground. My head bounces hard and I open my eyes to see Axel in front of me.
"You… you have always troubled any other bender to step foot on this earth." Axel says.
"That's only because of my mom! Axel, I would never hurt a water bender or anyone! Do you not see why I am working with Amelia and trying to get her back so we can stop all of this!" I yell and Axel removes the rock from me and lifts me by my shirt.
"You also got Amelia hurt and you are walking with someone who hurt her! So why should I believe someone who is walking around with criminals!"
Axel starts to piss me off and I feel heat rage in my body quickly since I was done arguing.
"It isn't fair that Amelia got hurt and Tails didn't get a scratch, Sonic! You know it isn't!" Axel says slamming me against a tree again and this time I grab his shirt since he was really pushing it.
"IT ISN'T FAIR AXEL. LIFE ISN'T FUCKING FAIR." I yell and Axel starts to growl even more but I didn't care because I was at a limit with this guy pushing me.
"YOU ARE RIGHT BUT I REFUSE TO HAVE ANYONE KILL ANYONE ANYMORE BECAUSE OF MY ACTIONS SO IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT THEN FIGHT ME! IT'S MY FAULT!" I yell as I whip my arms under his and I remove them from shirt, and I kick full flame at his head that he ducks and dodges.
I jump at him with my fist and he jumps and dodges and sends himself in the air and I follow him with flames bursting from my feet. Axel flips in the sky and I charge at him and I flip forward letting my foot hit his forearms that he was using to protect his body. We land hard on the ground and Axel slams into the ground with his feet creating a huge dust cloud in the mist.
I flip off of him and I slide my foot with fire near his legs and he jumps over it and then sends another rock my way that I break with fire behind my fist with pebbles soaring crossing my face.
Axel and I start to full on brawl in the mist, throwing all our rage and anger at each other about someone we care about. I exhale as Axel kept on sending rocks at me strategically, making it were I couldn't even get could to him.
I fly over a rock and then I shoot myself quickly in air.
"YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVE HER!" he yells, and heat grows more in my body. "YOU DON'T DESERVE HER AND YOU KNOW IT!"
Axel voice travels to where I am, and sharp rocks come at me. I charge a fire ball and then I shoot it down send a huge blast towards Axel.
"He is right but…"
"I DON'T! BUT I'M NOT STOPPING UNTIL I GET HER BACK!" I yell and then the fire I shoot explodes on the ground, pushing all the mist back in the forest from the impact.
The flame comes black and spreads into the sky as it whips and climbs higher and higher. I look down at the damage for Axel since I knew that wouldn't stop him. The moon runs over the forest and shines down on the forest and then suddenly I am shadow goes behind me, making me turn quickly. A huge rock in Axel's hand makes me back up and he sends it towards me. It comes down at me quick and I barely have enough time to stop it from crushing me, so I flip back and shoot the boulder with feet and it cracks only for Axel to fly through the pebbles and punch me and grab my neck.
"How is he even moving like this."
I grab his hand on my neck as we soar quickly to the ground. I flip up with my feet and I grab his arm and send him first into the ground we were going to hit. Axel tumbles on the ground while I just plop on it and I lay my head on the surface, trying to recover.
The sounds of burning wood and leaves make me open my eyes and I notice my damage I did to the forest, creating a medium size, opened area. Axel gets up and winces as he holds his shoulder and then he stumbles to stand on his feet. His eyes move around, and they land on me and they go back to rage. I get up with a quickness and I charge at him to fight him again. Axel and I go fist to fist as we punch, kick, and tackle each other in the open area. Axel gets me under his arm, and I shoot fire from under my feet and we go into the air. Axel squeezes hard, stopping my breathing and my fire stops from coming out of my feet. We hit the ground and Axel lands on his feet as he squeezes and squeezes my neck.
"Fuck, this guy is strong" I think and then a rock slams into my ribs making me cough out as he knocks the air out of me, and I lay limp in his headlock.
"Ah, shit." I think weakly as I try to move my hand to his but the constant squeezing around my neck makes me drop it since I couldn't breathe.
"GET OFF OF HIM!" Blaze yells and I open my eyes wide.
Axel stomps his foot on the ground and sends more sharp rocks from the ground and I couldn't see but I am sure they were aimed at Blaze. I feel fire erupt from my back and Axel jumps back as fire is spread everywhere.
He lets up one moment from my neck and I get some energy back and I blast fire from my feet, and I flip us both, but I slam Axel on his back and then he releases me. I stand up quick and I move away from him and grab my throat and take in oxygen as fast as I could. I cough and then Blaze jumps over my head and sends a sweep a fire at him, but Axel shields himself quickly with rock.
"Blaze- "I take cough roughly from being choked and I couldn't even say her name so she wouldn't hurt Axel.
Blaze blast fire and more fire at the rock that was protecting him, and I could see the rock starting to turn red from the heat, so I knew Axel was cooking in there.
Suddenly water blast Blaze away and Rouge jumps over the rock that was protecting Axel and heads to Blaze. Rouge and Blaze start battling, and I get up and Axel breaks his rock shield and gets up and he is sweating a lot after Blaze making him a personal sauna.
Axel stares at me but before I could even move Knuckles comes at Axel strong and now, they were fighting as well. I stare at everyone fighting each other and then I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see Cream and Tails coming from the forest and watching everyone fight.
"You have to stop them!" she says, and I nod my head.
"I'm coming with you!" Tails says and I look forward and I take off towards Axel.
Axel punches Knuckles and that makes me fly even faster.
"Hey! Get off of him- "
A force stops me from flying forward and I get blasted back harshly. I close my eyes from the force, and I slide on the ground and spined wildly on the ground until I run into a tree. The wind keeps on blowing hard and I open my eyes barely to see Blaze fall past me and I grab her just in time so she wouldn't hurt herself. As I turn around Knuckles huge body runs into me too, so we all end up falling down and soon Axel and Rouge body flies over our head as well and Tails slides against the ground as well and I grab his shirt to stop him
"Argh! What is that!" Blaze asks and then I try to open my eyes but the wind so intense.
Axel earth bends a wall and well stop sliding back and we open our eyes. We get up but the wind was still pushing harshly. Suddenly I hear a small scream and Cream body flies over the wall and Tails catches her just in time and then they plop on the ground.
"Ahh! Cream are you alright!" Rouge asks but then Blaze trips Rouge making her fall on her stomach.
"Blaze! Why would you do that- "
Axel earth bends the ground we are on shoots us in the air over the harsh gust of air that was still pushing forward. I float in the air and then Axel appears Infront of me.
"Wait- Axel!" I yell as I try to figure out why we slide like we did but Axel sends a rock at me only and I fly back towards the burnt ground and I try to land on my feet, but I trip and roll on my back.
I push myself forward and more lights of fire goes through the forest and I can hear my friends fighting Asendel. I groan and I lift myself up to see legs. I look up slowly and at the black and silver hedgehog and I look to the side and back to them since they were just staring at me.
"It's him." The sliver one says, and I cock my eyebrow.
"Who are you two- "
The black hedgehog lifts his hand and so does the silver one. I stare at them confused and then I am lifted in the air by wind.
"Airbenders? So, they did this- "
I get thrown on ground, but I land on feet stopping myself and, but a leg comes my way I duck. I don't feel the gust of air go over my head, but my legs buckle to the side as wind knocks me and I hit my side. I land on the ground and a leg heads to my stomach and I look up to see red raging eyes looking into mine.
"Die."
The wind hits me hard and I wince as I go flying back towards where my friends were fighting, and I break through the wall Axel created and I roll on the ground.
"Sonic!" Tails yells and I cough as I open my eyes and get on my knees and palms.
Tails touches my back and Cream comes over as well and I widen my eyes.
"Get Cream and run. There are air benders, and I don't know how many of them are." I say as I get up but my chest hurts."Gah! And they are using some kind of air bending martial arts moves! We have to warn everyone- "
The rest of the wall comes down and those two hedgehogs we saw earlier appear and Tails and I both jump in front of Cream.
"Wait! We don't want to fight." Tails says and they stare at us. " We are just looking for-
A random rock hits the silver one in the head, and he touches his head and looks to the left. As one of them are distracting I shoot fire at them to distract them and then the black one sends air back and the area explodes. The impact pushes us back and I shield my eyes from the tiny pellets flying our way.
The black hedgehog comes through the dust and smoke and runs at me. He grabs my arms and my shirt and flies in the air quickly. I close my eyes from the speed and then I try to move my leg up, but the pressure of the air was making it impossible to move anything. It stops suddenly and I open my eyes.
"Why are you here." He asks and I stare at his red eyes.
"First off." I say and I rip his hands from my shirt, and I fly on my own with my feet." Who are you and why are you attacking us?"
The black hedgehog stares at me and then he holds his hand out to me and I ready up for anything he was going to pull because I had a feeling that this guy was strong.
"Who I am doesn't matter but who you are matters a whole lot more. And you are walking in the wrong area." He says to me and I chuckle.
"I go where I want, and you have already pissed me off for jumping me with your friend so I'm going to give you another chance before I burn this area to the ground with you on it." I say and he doesn't laugh or smile. "Who are you."
"I guess we are fighting then. I'll just beat it out of you." He says and then he places his hand in his pocket, and I laugh at his cockiness.
"Fun. I haven't fought an air bender in ages so this should be great."
A small breeze runs past my face and I blink and as soon as I open my eyes his face is super close to mine. My eyes widen as he sends a fist to my face that I catch it but the force behind makes his fist slip out my palm and into my face. I fly back and then grabs my legs and starts spinning me around and around. Going faster and faster and then he sends me towards the open ground and turn around to stop myself with my fire, which I do and then I place my feet on the ground.
As soon as I look up, he is in front of me again and I try to react fast, so I move arms near my chest since that's where he was aiming, he hits my forearms hard which still hurt a lot from me trying to protect myself. But I smile to myself from the pain I feel on my forearms since it has been so long since I was fighting an air bender.
"Haha, this guy is crazy."
I whip my head up and I grab his arm, throwing him off guard and I bring my face to his.
"You are fun! Let's keep on getting to know each other!" I say and I slam my head against his hard, causing him stumble and then I send fist towards him only for him to catch. My leg comes under his leg and I slam him the ground hard. He blasts air at me, and I throw back fire and it explodes all together. Shadow rolls off and so do I but then I see Axel, the silver hedgehog and Knuckles hit the ground near us hard with Knuckles gripping Axel's face while Axel was holding the silver hedgehogs.
The black hedgehog takes off towards them, but I tackle him, and we tumble on the ground.
"You guys love sneak attacks!" I yell then blasts me off of him.
Hands touch my back and I look back to see Blaze behind me and before I can thank her Rouge washes us away with water and we both slide to the left. Rouge grabs Blaze from me and starts to fight her too.
I get up and I look at Shadow getting up but Tails shoots fire at him and then Shadow dodges it easily and comes at Tails. I charge at him and, but he hears me and holds his hand out and shoots air, but I slide down and I grab his hand and I charge fire at him making him widen his eyes.
"I won't let you touch my friends!" I yell as my hand gets brighter and brighter.
"STOP!" a voice yells and I stop charging and I feel water touch my back.
Suddenly water comes over all of our bodies and freezes us in the air as it pushes us up and away from each other. The ice froze my legs and I hang upside as I watch a girl land in the middle of the ice she created.
Her short pink hair blows gently in the wind as she looks at all of us panicked and then her eyes come to mine.
"Amelia…"
I'm kinda back with this story but hopefully I finish it before January idk.
