SONIC
No one had moved.
And I know I for sure haven't because of Ten's drained body.
No one had ever seen anything like this and that's when once Maria yelled out for Ten, Shadow had stopped her from running towards him and then I look at him as we make eye contact.
"What do we do? We don't even know her full extent of her power."
"Come on now." She says and I look back at her. "Don't be shy. What happened to all that fire? You all were running to get towards me and now that I have two spirits and I am unstoppable… what has changed?" she says. "Come and stop me. I want to test out my new abilities on someone."
"The spirit said. As long as I feed it three bodies, then I can keep my power forever." Sally lips curved and he looked at Maria. "So, Maria, after all I have done. Don't you think you spare me your life? I did save it after all so it's the least you could do. Don't you think?"
Maria's eyes shook and Shadow moved in front of her.
"You are not taking any more lives or leaving this world." Shadow says and Sally smiled.
"I wasn't talking to you, air bender."
"Does it look like I give a damn!" He yelled and then her teeth started to show.
"We aren't afraid of anything you- "
Sally lifted her hand and charged a purple beam in her hand and aimed it at Shadow. She shoots it and we all start running while it was being charged.
Sally was shooting purple orbs everywhere and we dodged the random purple blasts we had no idea what they did or how they felt.
They were coming fast, and Axel didn't Provided us with cover while we jumped over rocks to shield ourselves.
I had Amy close to me but before I take cover, I saw a flicker of Maria's hair floating back as the blasts flew past her head.
"Maria is still out there!" I yell at Amelia and she looks at me in panic and then jumps up and I bring her back down.
"Maria!" Amelia yelled and more blasts came and I held her back.
Soon the blasts stopped and we slowly looked up from our cover.
"AHHHH"
Maria grabbed Ten sword and then charged at Sally who was waiting for her next victim.
Shadow jumped out and stopped her and then Axel appears and brings them over to them and he created more rocks for safety.
"YOU KILLED Ten Maria yelled and I could hear the pain in her voice. "I thought you cared for us!"
Sally just stared and then looked at her hand that was blazing purple.
"Say something! Apologize At least!" Maria screamed and then Sally started to float again.
"I did save your life. That's true. But technically you do owe me. Without me you wouldn't be here." She says and her distorted voice. "Better yet… if you all offer up Maria and Cass. Then I will not have a reason to hurt any of you."
Me and Amelia make eye contact as Sally talks.
"I know Cass is around here somewhere and Maria is right in front of me. Plus look at what they have done to you. Both have risked the lives of all your friends and now you are letting them go so freely. Let me be your savior and free you from death and distress. If you just pass Maria over then I will not have to take a life of your friends."
The area around us was silent and then Amelia stood up and stepped away from me before I could bring her back.
"No!" Amelia pointed her finger at Sally and I watch as she stands proudly. "They might have done bad things and it's not like I already forgot what they have done…but you Sally! You have shown no remorse for anyone here! And… you are the kind of person I hate the most!"
She says and felt a rush of heat and my eyes widen as small flickers blue flame comes from her mouth.
"And I will not let you back into the world we are trying to change!"
Amelia blue flame screams from her feet and shoots herself into the air.
"Amelia!" I stand I watch her dodge a blast and it shoots over my head.
Suddenly Maria was airborne too and she still had the sword. She floats in the air and Sally stands in her place and watches both of them charge at her.
Amelia flame stopped coming out of her foot so she launched herself over Sally, throwing her off guard and then Maria came close to her at the last second.
Maria swings the sword at Sally but Sally moves back quickly and then I gasp as I watch Amelia fly everywhere and then spin out towards the ground.
"Amelia- "
Knuckles catches her and then dodges more blasts being thrown at him.
"Come down here and fight me!" Maria was still trying to fight Sally and then Sally grinned and pressed her hands together and shot at the ground.
Shooting three large beams of light on the ground. We shield our eyes and then once I look back… I stood fast.
Clones.
Dark spirit clones Sally emerge from the beams she shot and they stand with different stances but all guarding Sally.
"Clones? But how?"
"Go after all of them." She says and they all take off towards us individual.
One of them head turns straight to me and I jump up to attention. It runs at me, and I tried to punch her clone's face, but it floats right through, and I get back handed harshly and I stumble back.
"Sonic!"
I heard Amelia's voice echo through my head and I watch her rip water the ground and send it my way.
"Smoke screen fast!"
I react right after and I shoot fire at the water she passed me and the entire area steams up.
"Meet us at the far back! I have a plan!"
I make sure I wasn't being followed in the smoke and I dashed in the mist and then I bump right into Amelia who was with Knuckles and then the others appeared too with Axel.
"Clones?!" Axel says and everyone still looked shocked.
"And Ten…. Did you see how she killed Ten? Even I couldn't heal that- "
"We have to kill her!" Maria yelled angrily and then she walked closer to us. "We can't let her into the normal world. I say let's fight her- "
"No." Amelia says and we all look at her. "You aren't killing anyone Maria. Or fighting. You are the main target and if you get any close then you will not survive."
"You… you don't know that." Maria says and then she looks around at all of us and then she tried to walk past Amelia but she stopped her.
"Princess. Please step aside!"
"No, I am not going to let anyone else here get killed. You aren't thinking clearly and are a danger to everyone here for this fight." Her eyes move to Shadow and she looks back at Maria. "We will stop Sally for you. But in order to do that, I am begging you to watch Shadow."
"Huh?! You all can't be serious!" Shadow yells and Silver steps in.
"I think she has a point. You still don't have your powers yet and Maria is in danger. You both should fall back."
"I am not letting you guys fight this alone! Not again!" Shadow says but then Maria grabs his arm and he tears it away from her.
"I can help! With powers or not- "
"SHADOW YOU CANT!" Silver finally snaps and Shadow clenched his fist. "For once! Can you let us help you! You don't have powers so you trying to fight would only put you in more danger! So, protect Maria and keep her away from Sally's reach!"
Shadow looked around us and then his eyes went back to Silver's angry gold ones.
"I can't let you do this one your own- "
Maria earth bends rock from the ground and contains Shadow in it and pushes him away from the battle.
"I'll keep an eye on him! But please promise me to stop here." Maria says and we nod our head. "Thank you." She says and then she took off and Silver watched as she took Shadow away with her and he worriedly looked back into the group.
"We need a plan. Fast." He says.
"Right. Before we ran into the steam, I saw Sonic try to block himself but the clones fist went right through. Also, another thing. Whatever power she has cannot leave this world. She would be unstoppable." Tails and his voice were shaking as well. "Another… even though she said she wanted Maria…we did just send her far off. Probably enough to where she can watch us from a good distance but since she is gone… we are the next choices. We have to stick together. I think we all should group by powers... Rouge, Knuckles, Blaze, and Silver. Sonic, the princess, and Axel. But we will have one defensive team. That team will be me and Cream."
"What… But Tails no offense. You aren't the fighting type and your voice is even shaking now." Knuckles says and Tails shrugs his shoulders.
"Exactly… so if I use myself… to throw her off then we can have a chance of winning. She would expect one of you to attack but me and Cream. We aren't a threat to her but if I get one shot. To hit her with lightening… then we could win."
Silence grew over our group and Amelia nodded her head first.
"And… I won't put you in danger." Tails says to Cream who seemed nervous herself but she had the same encourage as he did. "Just if anything goes wrong… finish her off while she is distracted." He says to all of us and we agree to the plan.
"Alright. Now split! Stop every clone!" Tails says and scatter like marbles.
Axel runs first and tries to recon the clone and then once his heard turned right sharply. Shot my fire from my foot, after flipping and letting it slice through the steam and then I see the clone dodge it and I get an idea.
`" WE can only defeat it with our powers!" I yell out over the area and then that's when Amy gathers water and throws it at the clone which swiftly dodges but she pulls the water back and slams the clone on the ground.
She then stomps on the ground and shoots sharp ice from the ground but it leaps up fast.
"It knows its outnumbered. Let's finish this fast!" Axel says and we all run out in a different direction and the clone stumbles back and tries to keep an eye on Amelia who ran right and then to Axel who went left but then flames jump out feet and it focus was directed on me.
It charges something in its hand and shoots it at me but I slide under it and still approach it.
Axel creates a small rock, and it trips back, and I power up a flame and aim it at the clone but then the clone tries to shoot at me, but Amelia appears out of nowhere and grabs it arm it was about to shoot me with and throws it over her shoulder, slamming it into the ground and then I take a big breath. Feeling all the heat charge in my body and Amy rolls out the way just in time as I let big fires blast out and it hits the clone directly.
My heat clears the steam near us and I stop shooting my flame and I look at the ground to see the clone turned into a purple liquid.
I puff and a flame flicks out my mouth and I turn around to see Amelia smiling at me and Axel giving me a thumbs up and then I feel a gust of wind rid of the steam and the rest of our group taking out the last clone. But one person I didn't see was Tails.
My eyes widen and I had already realized that Tails was on the move for his plan, and I had to move soon.
I look at Sally was wasn't looking that happy and she started to ascend in the air but then I charge another fire blast in my hand and launch it at her randomly.
She shoots the orb at it and it disappears but her eyes were on mine and then that's when I heard a rip of lightning. It appeared behind a rock and I see Tails fling out and shoot it directly at her.
SHHHRING
The lightning broke through the sky and hit Sally dead on, and I gasp as I notice he had done it.
"He got her- '
Sally screamed as the lightning burned through her body but the with one lift of her hand. She grew a huge orb. It was a dark purple and bigger than the others one she had thrown and my mouth drops.
"Argh! You will die for that!" She throws it towards the ground and a loud blast of wind pushes us back and the only thing I could hear was yelling.
"Run!" I say and we all charged away but it felt like that bomb was right on our tail.
I shut my eyes and then I felt my feet lift from the ground and with a harsh blast I get thrown across the ground.

My eyes open fast and I look around. I look down to my hands and I notice that I was touching deep green grass that was as tall as my shoulder.
The area was black and white.
I blinked and the world became more vibrant. Flowers grew and the sky changed into a bright pink. More flowers grew and then it stopped as I stood up. Wind passes me and I turn my head as I see one else in the grass with me.
The flicker of pink hair made my heart jump and I run over fast. But once I got over there it was just… flowers?
I… I thought I saw Amelia…
But it's just flowers-
A quick breath behind me, makes me turn around and I see Amelia looking directly at my face.
She was black and white too but her eyes were still green.
She moved her mouth but no words came out and she gasped and covered her mouth in fear of why she couldn't talk.
"I can't hear you." I say out loud, and she panicked and then moved closer to me and hugged me and I hugged her back because I was very confused but startled as well.
I felt her chest breath fast and I rub her back.
"It's okay. I don't know what's going on but- "
My hand touched her back and it went through her and I open my eyes to see that she wasn't there anymore. It was… more flowers.
I blink slowly and then I stand up again and I look around for her again and she was laying in the grass but the flowers grew once I looked that way.
"Hey!" I yelled and my voice echoed and I jog and get on my knees and turn her body over.
Amy opened her eyes and I watch her carefully. Her mouth moved like she was trying to talk and then I looked back around the world.
It was peaceful here. And it smelled sweet and safe.
Oddly like I knew where this place… like I had been here before.
I knew I was having another vision but now this time… Amelia's spirit is here with me… how?
Amelia leaned up slowly and I helped her but her head was limp so I brought her closer.
Her hand touches my face and I stop looking around and I look at her green eyes.
"Wake up." She mouthed and she slowly was fading into flowers and petals. "Wake up please."
She says and I watch her transform into the grass.
"Wake up…"
I remember the big explosion and I stand up and close my eyes tight.
"WAKE up! WAKE UP DAMMIT!" I yell and I opened my eyes and I was still in the flower meadow.
"Come on! Control this!" I yell and then I felt my spirit shift but I didn't let it do so.
"That felt terrifying." I say but her face scared me so I took the risk.
I felt my body leave my own and then it was dark once again.

I heard pebbles hit the ground and dust sweep on my feet. I opened my eyes and I see Amelia right in front of me. Her finger tips were touching mine and her eyes were closed shut.
I blink slowly and as I notice that her head was bleeding and tried to move more but side screamed in pain.
"Amelia… I can't move my side." I tried to talk to her, and she didn't budge and that frightened me so much that I didn't care about my side.
I reached the most I could to grab her fingers and her eyes didn't budge once I had her hand in mine.
"Amelia." I thought again and I warm my hand in hers and then her eyes opened but they were in a daze.
"Hey… hey…" I say but my eyes were drifting off as well.
"…T-Tails… he is in danger." She said to me and my eyes open wide and I remember what was going on again.
I leaned up and looked around with my blurred vision and I didn't see Sally anywhere.
A footstep scraped beside me and I see Cream limp past me.
"Tails!" she yelled, and I look around for him and then once I did, I saw him…with his foot crushed under a boulder.
Tails was awake and his screams came to my ears as I watched him panic while Sally walked to him.
"Tails no- "Cream tripped, and I carefully stood up and I focused on Tails.
"Someone please!" Cream yelled and that's when my heat came back.
Sally had her entire hand on his face and Tails yelled in fear.
I blasted across the area fast and she moved her hand out at the last minute and grabbed my neck with the most terrifying grip.
Her head turns to mine and she slams me on the ground right beside Tails.
"Thanks for both of you, volunteering to giving me your chakra. Your sacrifice will be used for a great cause. "She says and I tried to move but her grip increased tenfold. "And first, I'm going to take care of your friend for shooting me with lightning."
A blue light appears on Tails and Sally closes her eyes as she starts to absorb him while she choked me to death with one hand.
"Get off of them!" Knuckles yelled and shot lightning at her and she let go and dodged it and then he shot another.
I took a deep breath and coughed and I look at Tails who was in shock from almost dying but then I look at the huge rock on his leg and I spring into action.
I charge a flame and I focused my best and I explode the rock that crushed his leg.
"S-Sonic." I look at Tails who was still looking at the sky in fear and I walk over carefully and lift him on his foot. "Sonic, I'm so scared."
"It's alright." I say as I carry him away from danger." You are safe."
"No… I can't feel my leg. I know its broken but- "
"Relax… relax." I say slowly and then I stumbled towards Knuckles and I was starting to lose my balance.
"H-hey Sonic." Tails says and my blinks were becoming heavier.
I tripped over my feet, and I stumbled to the ground while trying to hold Tails the most I could, but he fell out my arms and, on the ground, too and then I flop the ground as well.
"Sonic!" Tails yelled and I looked at him as he looked behind himself and then scooted closer to me.
"Sonic, she sent more clones and… mostly everyone is down!" Tails said and I blinked again but this time I felt the same shift until Tails shot lightning and I came back.
"Sonic! Please help!" he yelled at me and leaned back up and I saw a clone ahead of me.
"You… have got to be kidding me." I say as it runs towards me.
My head was spinning and I felt so dizzy but because my friends were constantly needing my back. I had to help them the most I could.
I stomp hard and shoot fire easily at the clone and it dodge it but then jumped and kicked in my side and I fell to the ground while clutching my rib.
"Ah…ah…ah…" I breath harshly and then Silver jumps over my head and swipes the clone off its feet and slams it into the ground.
It melts into the ground and Silver turns around to me with blood dripping down his face too.
"What should I do?" he asked and then another spirit came to fight him and tried his best to hold it off.
"Find healers… we need healers. Tell Axel to move the wounded far back!" I say weakly but I stand up.
"Gotcha!" Silver was injured as well but he was trying his best with maintain the pain.
Silver took care of the last one and then I watch Knuckles get up and pull Rouge to her feet but Silver gathered all of us and floated us to the back quickly and then created a huge dust cloud and the area we were in was hidden.
They drop us near a rock wall, protecting us from anything else and then I see Maria and Shadow jump from their protection and Shadow ran to Silver.
"Silver your- "
"I'm fine! The princess, Axel, and Rouge are unconscious, and the only healer awake is Cream. We have to get them awake." Silver said and Shadow set him down and then he moved fast to Cream who was trying to stand but her ankle looked swollen.
I watch everyone move but until Maria leaned me against the wall next to Amelia was getting healed and then once her eyes opened and she breathed in fast and looked around.
"What…" she said and then she saw everyone. "What… the explosion?"
"Yeah, it hit all of us… I think we dodged most of it but barely because it made Rouge and Axel uncurious." Cream explains but Amelia looked around at everyone getting healed and in pain and then she looked me.
"That wasn't the greatest plan." Amelia says and she looks at Tails leg from afar. "We… almost died."
"But we didn't. I'm going to heal you and then you can heal Rouge while I get Tails back on his feet." Cream says and heals Amelia's face and then she moved her hands away from her face and walked over to Rouge.
"I'm fine. Sorry." Amelia voice sounded hurt and she started to heal Rouge and Cream slowly got up and walked over to Tails who was being calmed down by the rest because he was in the most pain.
I focus my attention back on Amelia who back was faced to me and I closed my eyes.
"It's okay. We can win this- "
"That's not what I am upset about!" she yelled at me through our thoughts and I opened my eyes.
"I'm angry because I haven't become any stronger… we almost died…and I have barely helped… I thought I had died when she exploded that… I'm still being careless. Being careless is what got my mom killed and you kidnapped. The reason we are in the situation." Amelia said and I let her explain her feelings before I said anything.
"I'll do better. I promise I can do better. I'm princess and if I can't even save my friends then how can I save the world?"
Rouge wakes up and Amelia cut her connection off with me while she talked to Rouge and then once Rouge got herself together, she ran towards Axel to start on waking him up and Amelia rose slowly and kept her eyes down.
"Amelia- "
"PRINCESS AMELIA!" Cass jumps from the forest and scares some of us and his eyes were full red and plenty of energy was in his body. "LETS STOP HER!"
"What- "
Cass lifted Amelia over her shoulder and my eyes widen as I watch him leap over our cover of rock.
"CASS! LET GO!" Amelia yelled lastly before she disappeared over the rock.
"HEY!" I yell and I stand up but my dizziness hits me tenfold and I fall back down.
Suddenly vibrations on the ground shake and it got louder as I looked at the ground and then I saw purple orbs fly everywhere. Destroying anything in its path.
"Get up!" Shadow said and Maria created over again and I get put inside it but knowing Amelia was out there was making me stop myself from being fully in it.
"Amelia is out there!" I yell and I break through the cover but then someone pulls me back down.
"We know but you have not been healed yet!" Cream yelled at me and I was starting to get furious.
"I don't care about myself! Amelia is danger and- "Cream slaps me and I stopped yelling.
"Knuckles is out there too!" she says and I look around and notice that he was but then now I was more worried about him too. "If you aren't healed then how can you be any help! Believe in our friends!"
"Sorry… you are right- "
And then she hits me again and I touched my face and I started to remember that Cream was a little bit sadistic when it came to me.
"And care about yourself dammit!" she yelled and blushed while she healed me again.
"Sorry! Sorry!" I said fast and I heard laughing and I turn my head to see Silver laughing and I blush.
The explosions stopped and Maria slowly opened the cover and I look out to see the area dusty with holes in the ground.
"Why is it so quiet?" Maria thought and I tried to find any trace of Amelia being alright and Knuckles but I didn't see anything.
"Am I healed enough?" I ask quickly, not afraid of being smacked again and Cream nodded my head and let my face go.
I dash out and I felt way better as I flew towards the battle and then I saw Knuckles protecting Amelia from Cass.
"Quit it!" Knuckles said and Cass frowned.
"All I did was hug her!"
"During battle?! What is wrong with you?!" Knuckles yelled and my flames were heard from afar and I float on the ground and hugged them both.
Cass gasps loudly and he touched my shoulder and pulled me off them.
"He can hug you guys but I can't- "
I send my fist into Cass's gut and he bent over on the ground.
"You ever do that shit again- "
Cass shot lighting aimlessly to me and then once I dodged it and he swung his leg at my face that I duck but then I grab his leg and he grabs my hand that was holding his leg and then I grabbed his hand that was on mine and I trip him to the ground but we both fall.
"GET OFF ME!" Cass yelled but I couldn't exactly let go because of the grip he had on me but my head was free so I slam it to his and he hit mine back while wrestled on the ground.
"Spoiled Prince!" he barked and I grabbed his hair and he gritted his teeth.
"I'll show you- "
A lurid, disordered yell stopped our conversation and thoughts as we looked up and saw Sally standing there as she held her shoulder.
Her purple hands went to her chest and she roared again… confusing us because she sounded in pain.
Maybe they hit her and I didn't see. But based on their faces, I could tell all she did was throw blasts their way and no one hurt anyone.
So why was black liquid dripping from her mouth and onto the ground.
She then grabbed her head and screamed again but this I stepped back.
"The spirit." Cass said as he let my arm go. "It's punishing her."
"Why?"
Cass looked afraid as she stood up again and stumbled around.
"Because she hasn't followed through with the agreement. She has used so much of its power but hasn't contained enough charka… so basically. It's eating her alive. Taking its power from elsewhere."
"What… is she going to die?" Amelia asked Cass shrugged his shoulders.
"Unless she gets another spirit. She is going to deal with some consequences and the stage she in now… I would say she only has twenty minutes to make a move before they take her powers instead."
That brought silence over all of us.
Knowing that she was doomed to die made us watch her minutes float away but once she gathered herself together. All I saw was greed in her eyes.
She wasn't going to give up so easily. She had come so far. Sacrificed so much to get her and if she were to die here then everything, she would have done would be for nothing.
"Cass! You dumb fuck! Get over here!" she says and Cass blinked and then he smiled.
"Okay!" Cass started to skip over to her and Amelia grabbed his arm.
"Don't do that! She wants to eat you!"
"Well, if it protects you then I will happily be eaten!" Cass says and Amelia cocks her eyebrow in confusion.
"Cass, dying is not going to protect me!" Amelia yells and Cass gasps.
"So, you want me around!" he grabs her hands and Knuckles swats them off.
"Don't touch her." He warns again and even Knuckles was getting sick of how weird Cass was.
"You all touch her but I can't? Ahhh!" he complains and I ignore him and look back towards Sally.
"This isn't supposed… to happen." Sally whimpers and we watch her. "Give me your chakra… or I will take it by force- "Sally drops to her. Knees and she was hacking intensely.
"She is dying." Amelia says and I grimace at the sight of her pain.
"What do we do?" Knuckles asks and I watched her suffer in pain.
"Sally." I say and she kept her head to the ground and I took a small step. "I think… you should just…give up. There is no way you are going to take two bodies. You have to see that. You are weakened. Just…"
I took a small step towards her and she lifted her head and now black liquid was dripping down your nose.
"Just let us… help you… ease this pain." I say, thinking that they could heal her until it was time for her to pay for her consequences but her eyes were still hungry.
"If you want to help me… then give me your charka!" she yelled.
"Sally, you can't win! He is right. We can make this less painful for you!" Amelia pitched in and Sally looked at from us and she stood up slowly.
"Spirits. Please give me one more chance." She says out loud and looks to the sky. 'Just one more chance. And I will give you what you want. I promise. I just need your strength."
I look towards the sky too, to see if I could watch who she was talking too but I didn't see anyone.
"Just one more try- "
Sally stopped talking and then it turned into laughter as her body exploded a bright purple aura. Her hair started to float again and wind blew rapidly.
"I won't let you down!" she yells to the sky again and then turns to us and lifts her hand. "I will not miss this time."
Sally shot blast after blast and we duck and dodge them. She never gave us time to think as the blasts continued and I even got separated with from the rest and it wouldn't stop as more and more hit.
These blasts felt different. It was almost like they were exploding louder than usual.
Me and knuckles surprisingly shot fire at her at the same time and she jetted into the air, and I watch in shock as she lands right beside me.
Close combat.
She punched and punched while I shielded myself and the punches burned my arms surprisingly from the weird purple flame, but I came right back.
Smoke came from my back as I charged fire in both fists and I shot them at her with Knuckles finally coming back to my side to help me and then Amelia and Cass did too. Cass shot lightning to keep her at distance and while he did Amelia touched my shoulder.
"If I can hurt her once. I think the spirits will be mad at her. I found Ten's sword." She says and I see her hold his big blade that almost the size of her and she barely could lift it up.
"Can you even swing that?"
"Maybe." She says and she stands back and I watch small blue flames appear in her hands and it helps her lift the sword in the air and she spins around uncoordinatedly.
"Maybe let me do it." I say and she shakes her head.
"I can do it. I will not let anyone get hurt anymore because of my choices. I can do this. Let me please." She says and I respect her decision and then I smile to myself.
"Your little flames are cute." I think and she blushes focuses back on Sally was busy flying.
"Focus on the battle!" she scolds me, and I laugh and look at the sky and then she spread her fingers and beams of purple came out and she then she shot flashing purple beams that rips through the ground.
They get shot my way and I dodge in between them as they moved back and forth. Just from going in between one I could feel the heat graze on my face and I made sure not to touch it.
"Just stop moving!" she yells and stops her beams that weren't hitting us and she starts to shoot aimlessly again.
I jumped behind a rock and I take the time to see Sally to see her stressed, with trying to stop from moving but she missing a lot.
I grab my palm and a huge fire ball right at her and she dodges it and then multiple orbs get sent towards me. I dash away from it by flying and then some of them land beside me.
"Annoying pests!" Sally yells and she stops shooting and the consistency of the flaming purple aurora floating on her arm changes into a stretchy like material.
She swings it at me, and I step back to dodge it but then it flicks around and grabs Knuckles' arm.
Knuckles touches it and it gets connected to his wrists and she brings him to her but Cass grabs him.
"Let go! Or I electrocute you both!" Cass laughs and Knuckles freaks out.
"That's not a good idea! What if you fry me to death!" Knuckles yelled and I start to make my way over there to get him free but Sally kept me at bay with these blasts.
"It's the only way to save the princess! Sacrifice yourself!" Cass says and then electricity started to form.
"Get off me!" Knuckles shrugs him off and then gets whipped in the air and thrown to the ground.
"Knuckles!" I yell and her head moves to mine once more and she shoots more at me.
"If you try to electrocute me again, then your friend will get the same feeling!" she yells, and I look at Knuckles a far from being stuck to the ground with what looks like a big wad of gum connected to Sally.
"Even better!" Cass says and he aims it right at her and her eyes widen.
He shoots it and Sally dodges and frowns at him.
"Idiot!" she says and finally takes her focus off on me and aims it at Cass who was now dodging.
"You know! You always called me an idiot and I have been waiting on the day to see you crumble to the ground!" he yells and Sally continues to shoot.
"You should be glad! I gave you your strength! Now repay me back!" she says and more things get shot at him as I try to sneak over and I watch Amelia secretly slide the blade closer to get a hit.
"A power I didn't ask for! But because you! I am forever an idiot! An idiot that will stop you and marry the Princess of Asendel!" Cass shoots another beam of lightning and he winces. "Ouch! Too much chi…"
Knuckles shot fire at her too but the flames still keep him stuck to the ground.
I run over to Knuckles and so did Amelia while she dragged the sword and Cass fights Sally.
"Ugh! What is this!" Knuckles says and Amelia drops the sword to touch it but I grab her arm.
"If we touch it then we might not be able to get out." I say and she looks back at Knuckles who got his hair stuck in the goop now.
"…we have to protect him." Amelia says and she lifts the sword. "You stay near Knuckles and I will try my best to get close enough to her."
"No!" Knuckles yells and we look back at him. "She won't focus on me because you two and Cass is crazy, so you won't have much to worry about.
"Okay… we will stay close by." Amelia says and Knuckles nods his head and then she turns to me.
"YEEEEE Haw!" Cass yells and jumps around while shooting lightning soon I could see a small trickle of blood at his torso, but he was still moving and fighting.
"You join Cass and I'll try to stop her." Amelia says and she runs off to the side again and I run over to Cass who was using all his abilities but not doing the greatest because he was taking this as a joke.
"Ugh!" Sally yells and she finally shoots him through his arm and then Cass falls on the ground with Sally flying a supersonic speed to him and slams her hand to his face.
"Mine!"
I pick up a speed and I start to run out faster and faster with my flames giving more speed and I jump in the air with my leg cocked back.
I send my leg fast at her stomach and she coughs out as I send her far away and then I let the flame stop coming from my foot and I turn around and offer a hand to Cass who was laying there with his arm slightly bleeding.
He takes it and I pull him on his feet, and he gets close to my face.
"Thanks." He says and I let his hand go but he holds on to it and I felt a pinch of anger run through my mind. "And just to let you know. Even after all of this is over. We still aren't friends. Never will be. I'm going to be on my best behavior for Amelia- "
I grip Cass's hand roughly and I step closer to his face while warming my hand threating, but he doesn't let go.
"It's Princess and you think I want to be your friend? You cut my pinkie off and tortured me. Trust me. When this is over… the princess will have no say to what happens to you when we both hit the surface." I sit back and I yank my hand away.
We stare at each other for a moment and Cass finally cracks a smile and looks behind me.
"How are we going to stop Sally?" Cass changes the subject and I turn around and look at Sally shaking to stand up.
"We have to get her far in the air and then Amelia is going to go for a cut." I say and Cass runs past me and starts on the plan without agreeing to it and I follow behind him.
Smoke steams out my mouth as I blast and blast fire from my hands and feet and she starts to fly higher.
"I'll kill you! You took Scourge from me!" Sally finds Amelia trying to run around with a blade and she throws a huge blast and explodes again.
She luckily dodges it but the impact of it hitting the ground makes her fly in the air a bit and she lands on her feet and then Sally threw another one.
"Cass! Distract Sally!" I say and I fly off and Sally threw another one and I catch Amelia in midair, and she grabs my shoulders quickly to get my attention to look at her eyes.
"LAUNCH ME!" Amelia said while I had her in my hands and I quickly spun her around and sent her flying fast to Sally.
Blue, colorful bursts of fire come from where I through here and she starts to spin in a circle with the blade behind her, dodging orbs still as she tried to maintain her new power and then she got even closer.
Her pink hair blew back and I clenched my fist that she would make it back in one piece without getting hurt.
"No! Don't!" Sally yelled as she missed Amelia's hair by an inch, and she barely scarped her stomach as she flew out of control, and she goes crashing on the other side of Sally.
"Amelia!" I bark and I watch her drop the sword and bounce on the ground and roll.
The slime from Knuckles turns into vapor and he stands up quickly after watching what Amelia did.
Me, Knuckles and Cass run towards her but then I stopped as I watched blood drip from the sky.
Sally touched her stomach and her hands shook as she watched blood leak down her torso.
"Ha…" she said and then she looked towards us. "You… It's your fault. She says and then the wind that had been blowing on our faces suddenly stopped.
"All of you…" she says with tears falling down her face. "It's all your fault! I was supposed to get my powers and create my own kingdom! So, no one will have to be afraid of the fire kingdom or decide to trust on weak water kingdom to protect us! I was going to protect us all and… You stopped me! NO! I won't let my dream be stopped by people who think they can help me ever again!" Sally voice yelled over all of us.
"I'm not giving up! And if I die… Someone else is going to pick up where I left off! This isn't the end of us benders who have struggled to end the war between both kingdoms! I wish you both would just perish! Every single one of you!"
Her eyes filled with tears, but she had anger all over her face and she opens her palm to shoot at us, but she stops.
"No." she said and she looked at the sky. "Not yet… I beg you- "
Sally hair went back to brown and her entire color went back to normal. She even stopped flying but something held her up and slowly it showed two purple figures in front of her.
The spirits were blurry, and they looked down her as she whimpered in fear of them.
"Please just one more chance." Sally said and one spirit moved out its hand and Sally looked at it and freaked out. "No! I promise! I just need more time- "
Sally arm expanded. Like she was a balloon. And her other arm did the same. Next her legs and feet inflated as well and then it went to her head and her throat. She grabbed her throat as her eyes teared up from the pressure and then the other spirit raised its arm and her stomached widened like a balloon.
Suddenly she exploded the orbs blasted everywhere. And the spirits I watched disappeared and it became even brighter from the explosion.
"S-Sonic!" I heard Amelia in my head and she was looking me from afar but then an explosion hit in front of her and she disappeared in an instant from the dust.
"Amelia!"
I took one step and the blast hit in front me and I shield my eyes.
"Fly towards me!"
I thought and I tried to make any step towards her.
"Where is Amelia!" Knuckles yelled and I couldn't see her at all until the dust cleared and I saw her on the ground. Shielding her head and I watched her shut her eyes in fear.
"Princess!" Cass yelled but he was falling back to avoid getting hit and I had to take my chance.
"I'm coming!" I dash towards her, flying and dodging blasts until I finally touched her arms and I picked her up fast and flew right back to spit but with Knuckles and Cass following.
Knuckles grabbed Cass and we fly with our life on the line as we make it back to everyone.
"Get up! We have to get out of here!" knuckles yelled and he grabbed Rouge with in instant and Silver helped Tails and Cream to their feet while Maria and Axel who was now awake, earth charged through the land.
"Sally? What happened?" Maria asked and I gave her a knowing look and she nodded her head and we kept on forward.
"Here!" Amelia turned in my grip and tossed Ten's sword to Maria and she catches it.
"Ten…" she says and she looked forward with the blasts ripping the ground.
"Shit! It's like its following us!" Blaze yelled.
"There is no way we are going to make it!" Rouge says and then Cass whistles.
"We can teleport to the exit!" he says and then his monster spirit appears in midair and lands in front of us and runs with us.
"Then hurry!" Tails yelled and Cass smiled.
"Only if you say please and that you will let me into the group!" Cass teases and I had almost dropped Amelia and fought himself.
"Cass!" Amelia yells and he groans.
"Fine… portal to the entrance" he says.
The monster shoots a beam ahead and we all jump in and drive onto the ground. The portal closes before the orbs could get here and we breathe heavily from flying so fast and running.
Amelia fell on her hands and knees and looks over to me.
"Thanks." She says and I nod my head but then I stopped breathing.
I saw small flickers of light in the sky and they were flying fast to us. Getting brighter and brighter.
"WE finally escaped." Tails says and stands on his own and everyone started to cheer but me.
"Run." I say and the conversation stopped and I pick Amelia up again.
"Run now! Go!" I yell and just like that they saw what I was looking at and we all screamed and ran more.
"Shit! How did it get here that fast!" Silver says and I paid no mind to that but Amelia let go of my hand to run on her own and she was keeping up with us.
"There is the entrance!" Cass yells but the orbs were speeding up.
"We have to split up!" I say and I fly towards the right everyone else uses there power to get away while Maria carried Shadow on her back and still kept a good pace.
I stayed in the far back and to get some of the orbs to follow me and I fly through the trees and branches.
The entrance was just a little further and as I watch everyone get near it with safety.
"We are almost out- "
It was almost like it was slow motion once I saw Axel stop earth bending because of a blast that slammed in front of him and it made him fall. I sweep in and I see purple all on the right side of my eye but that didn't matter.
I wasn't going to let Axel get hurt. No one. We were so close and… all I wanted to see was us on the other side.
Axel closed his eyes but once I grabbed his shirt. I stood on the ground and used all my strength to throw him out of the way and his eyes widen as he watched himself get thrown out of danger and we held eye contact for the longest as the purple orbs were now targeted on me.
"Sonic! Move!" I heard Amelia voice yell at me and I take one step and I felt something push against my body and I black out but all I could hear was yelling and screaming.
"Sonic... Sonic open your eyes!... Oh Chaos…"
The voices got softer, and the vibrations became louder as I felt myself… sink out my body.
"S…oni…c…"
