Amelia
"Please."
I staggered into a tree as I watched his body tumble on the ground after being hit.
"Please…"
My heart was beating in my throat as my feet were too heavy to move but I was moving them somehow. A light steam floated from his body and I looked at his pink, burned skin as he laid still on his chest.
Sweat dripped down my face as I fell to my knees beside his body and my hand shook violently as I went to touch his back.

My eyes move around his body, and I quickly push him over and his head plumped to the side and I touched his neck for a pulse.
My hands shook so bad I couldn't even focus as I noticed that it had hit him in the leg as well. I squeezed my eyes shut and I place both hands on his neck and then that's when my breath kicked up.
I screamed and instantly I placed my fist on his chest with my hand over it and I start pumping.
"He isn't breathing!" I yelled and my tears fell on his slightly burned face and I closed his nose and blew air inside.
"Fuck! Oh… oh no!" I panicked faster and I start pumping faster.
My arms shook and my hands slide off his chest and I readjust myself.
"Cream! Cream! Please help me!" I yelped and I heard no one. "Cream! Rouge!"
I was balling and so afraid because his pulse was low but he wouldn't breathe. I place my mouth on his and I continued to pump until I saw legs and it was Axel.
"A-Axel!" I sob and I look around for Cream but I didn't see her nor Rouge or even Silver to help me with CPR. "Where are they!?"
Axel starred in fear and I continued to pump while Sonic's head shook from my force.
"Axel! Please!"
Axel looked at me and his eyes watered and he wiped his face.
"T-the portal."
"Fuck!" I yelled and he still didn't breathe.
I give him CPR again and I continued my pumping.
"Is…. Is he- "
"NO!" I shouted.
Axel bite his lip and he kneeled down with me.
"Amelia- "
"What?!" I yelled and he looked over Sonic's body and his eyes were worried. "What is it?!"
"Let's move him in the portal. More healers can help him." He says.
I bite my lip and I didn't want to stop blowing air into his lungs because what if…. What if I don't do it for one second and he is gone.
I kept blowing air in his mouth and Axel touched my arm.
"Amelia…"
I ignore him and focus on Sonic in front of me and then I climb over his body, straddling his torso and I started to pump on his chest.
"I can save him." I stuttered out.
Axel earth bends me and Sonic on a platform with wheels and I almost stopped as he pushed it towards the portal.
"Just keep going!" he said and I nod my head and blew air in his mouth as it started to get brighter and then I watch his face touch the portal.

The bright light flashes and I get rolled in and I start to focus back on Sonic.
"Cream?" I ask out loud and I pump on his chest and then suddenly the rock platform we were on turns into dust and I gently fall on the ground with Sonic.
"Cream- "
My eyes widen as I look around and see everyone passed out. Everyone was and then that's when I listened to someone fall behind me and Axel falls out onto the floor as well.
"Ax- "
"People who don't have spirits, lose half of their chakra going inside the spirit world." I heard Cass say and he sits on the floor and then looks at Sonic.
"You are probably the only one who can save him." Cass says and I shudder in fear.
"Help me… please. Cass you are a water bender so- "
"Why would I help him…" Cass says and walks closer to me and my eyes traveled to his. "Why would I save someone who has the love of my life? I'd rather just take him from you instead."
"Cass… I'm begging. This is no time for jokes! Sonic isn't breathing!" I yell in panic and he steps over everyone and bends down to Sonic.
"Yeah, he is." Cass points at him and I saw his chest rising slowly and I jump off of him fast and I place my hands on his chest.
"Oh, my chaos." I say and I heal him as fast as I could and then I looked at Cass who was watching.
"Cass- "
"What's going to happen to me after this?" Cass wondered and then the ceiling shook harshly and we both look at it. "I could save all of you… but if I save you then what do I get in return."
"Anything…" I say and his red eyes moved to mine and then he leaned in closer to my face.
"Anything?"
A tear fell my face as I felt myself heal some of Sonic's organs that I hadn't realized internally damaged.
"Yeah."
"Then kiss me." He says and my eyes grew in shock and then Cass stood up fast.
"Just kidding!" he says with a piece sign but then he points at me. "But! I would like a home in your kingdom! Away from the town because… well I am not much of a people person and I want to be in the angle of your window you look out of every time you look at your kingdom at dawn!"
"Y-Yeah. "I say and he smiles and grabs Cream by her ears and I gasp.
"Healing time!" he started to heal Cream and I slowly look back at Sonic.
My vision blurred slightly but I blinked it away and focused.
"Not now… I have to focus- "
My healing light was decreasing and I panic.
"No… Come on!" Yell and I started to get frustrated with the amount of energy I had left.
"Cass please hurry." I say and he turns to me and watches my glow dimmer. "I'm running out of chi…I need Cream."
"I'm going as fast as I can!" Cass brightness increased and once I saw Cream's eye open, she looked slowly.
"Cream!" I yelled and she turned her head to me. "It's Sonic. Please help!"
"What…" Cream leaned up slowly and Cass moved to Rouge as Cream tried to figure out why everyone was laid out on the ground. "What happened?"
"You all passed out but Sonic… he stops breathing because he -got hit and- "
Cream crawls over some of our friends and she touches my hands that I didn't know were shaking. She closed eyes to sense his damage and her eyes widened and she started to heal with me.
"Amy, you need to try to focus a little more. Your healing isn't steady."
"O-Okay." I say and then the portal we came out of closed. That beam of light came back and it shook the entire ice dome we were in and pieces of the ceiling started fall and hit the ground and even the ground started to crack.
"Looks like the area is going to fall apart!" Cass cheers and my heart dropped.
"The what?"
Cass turns around and he pressed his hands on rouge's boobs, mindlessly and he heals her.
"Yeah! There is no telling how many days have passed since we have been in here. But if we want to survive then we should probably get out of here."
My mind thinks quickly and I look at the drill that was still in good contact but then all of our movement team was out cold.
"And even if we get them on their feet… just how far are we from the surface. We are under the ocean so we would also have to take our time with going to the surface… and I need to at least heal Axel and Maria so we can move through earth but…"
I look at Sonic who was still not moving but breathing and a tear slips off my lip.
"If I stop healing Sonic… this faint heartbeat would stop too. But everyone else is in danger- "
"Awake!" Cass says and then he lifts Rouge up and she stumbles and looks around in confusion.
"What happened to everyone?" she says and then she sees us and she crawls over to look over Sonic. "Did he get hit?!"
"Yes…" Cream said sadly and Rouge started to heal with us and I bit my lip.
"Amy." Rouge says and tears run down my face. "Did he stop breathing? Why am I sensing, lack of oxygen?"
"Y-Yeah he did…" I cry out but then She puts her hand over mine. "He stopped breathing and I tried my hardest to get him the most oxygen he could so I hope that doesn't cause any relying issues."
"Don't focus on that for now. He is breathing and that is all that matters." Cream says and then she looks at Cass who was poking Shadow in the face. "Cass! Please heal Maria. And the Silver next. The fire benders can be last but air benders and earth benders are a need so we can get out of here."
"Psh, who made you in charge." Cass says and he walks over to Maria.
Cream ignores him but Cass does heal Maria while we focus on Sonic.
My face couldn't stop pouring out slow tears as I looked at his face and then his breathing was becoming smoother by the second.
"Thank Chaos." I whisper to myself but I was still never because the only reason was now breathing better was because his lung collapsed and if Cream and Rouge had not been here then he would have left us long ago.
But it was time to focus the organs.
My eyes felt heavy and my light was depleting.
"Shit… ugh."
I shook my head and I look over at Cream and she seems just exhausted as I was but she was giving it her all.
Sonic grunts softly and he face twisted in pain that snapped us out of our tiredness and I touched his face.
"W-What's wrong?!" I asked him but he was still unconscious "Sonic- "
"Amelia, just focus! We have to focus on his injury." Cream says and I jump at her voice and go back to putting my hands on his burnt flesh.
"O-Okay. Sorry." I stutter and Sonic starts to make more noises of pain.
My hands shook and I tried to keep my eyes from his face but it was starting to get overwhelming.
"Guys…" Rouge says and she shakes her head. "I don't have that much charka left. And based on how Sonic is. He needs to be somewhere safer. I don't even see him waking up after being healed. You know it too Cream."
My eyes moved to Cream and her lips tightened.
"We have to use the rest of our chi on the others. And… we all can't die down here. We have him healed to a good enough spot to where he can last for some hours but we don't have that much time here." Rouge says and another chunk of the wall crashes and she blinks slower.
"Amy. Keep healing him. No matter what and me and Cream can heal the rest. Fast." Rouge says and she moves her hands away from him and then Sonic stopped making noises.
Rouge moved to Silver and then Cream still was healing with me but as the dome fell more apart, her light got weaker too.
"Amy." Cream looks at me and her eyes were feared like mine. "Don't stop healing him… I'll probably pass out before I can see us out of here but you will be here for it. Just keep on healing. He will be fine."
Cream mostly seemed like she was trying to convince herself with these words and she let go fast and went to Axel.
My eyes shook and I nodded my head and continued to heal Sonic without panicking but my eyes would move to his face… wondering… if he would survive.
"S-Sonic…"
I turn my head and I see Blaze gold eyes set on Sonic. She then saw my hands on him and then her eyes slowly traveled to mine.
"What… what happened?"
That question made the tears in my eyes refilled so at this point. I just shrugged my shoulders and let them fall from my face.
"Princess…" Blaze says to me and I tried to continue to focus on Sonic.
Blaze moved closer to me and I kept my sad tears to myself until I felt her warm hand on my hand… that was on Sonic's.
"It's okay." She says with a smile and I watch her close her eyes and her hand falls off my mine. "You can do it."
Blaze fell back to sleep and I continued to heal Sonic.
"we are all going to get out of here. I just have to focus."
My hands rub on Sonic's chest that was starting to bruise and then suddenly I felt more vibrations and a huge chunk of ice slams down in front of us.
I breathe nervously and then I look over too Maria eyes were open and so was Silver but they were so out of it.
"Silver! Maria!" I yell and they somewhat look at me with the weakest attention. "We have to get out of here! Now! Please try to focus the most you can we can live!"
"Okay… "Maria says and she starts to come back to life and Silver was right behind her.
I look back at Sonic a small piece of ice had fell on his face from above me. I slowly look up and then I see a huge ice boulder fall from the ceiling and I jump and through it over us.
"ARGH!" I yell and it rolls and hits the wall and I breath heavily and drop back down to heal.
"That was close- "
The green light was showing in my hands anymore and I tried to heal him again but nothing was appearing.
"I think I used all my chi to protect us from that boulder!"
I stand up from Sonic and I march over to Cream and Rouge.
"I… I'm all out." I say and Cream eyes widens and she looks at Sonic behind me. "The timer for Sonic starts now. We have to go!"
I run over and pick up Tails from under his arms and I carefully place him in the drill machine and then I go for knuckles who was slightly heavier but I get him to safety as well.
One after the other I was carrying in my friends who weren't awake and then I grabbed Sonic who was the most injured.
I carried him bridal style than dragging him and I place him in the far back on his back. I watched him for a moment until I got off and then I run back towards them.
Maria stands up slowly and Silver does too and then Axel gets pulled to his feet.
"Okay…" Maria says and holds her ribs. "I'm not feeling that well but let's get moving. We can't die here."
"Yeah…" Cream tries to stand but then she falls and I help her up.
"You did well. Good job." I say and she smiles and I help her to the drill and Maria helped Rouge as well and they both breathe heavily in the drill.
"Okay, let's get out of here." Silver says and he tumbles into the place he usually sits and then he tries to cover Shadows too since he didn't have his power back yet. "I'm going to help the most I can to get us out of here the fastest but… once we hit the water there isn't much I can do."
"I'll push us to the surface." Axel says and Maria nods her head. "You just give us the most support you can with getting out of here.
"Gotcha." Silver smiles and then the area shakes again but this one louder.
Axel and Maria both stood up so whatever was happening was something we couldn't see. They both run off and I follow them and then rocks were slamming.
Dust and degree fly in and I fall in the drill from the destruction from outside and then it started to get darker. I yell in fear of being crushed to death but it never came and then I uncover my head and run out. Maria and Axel had created a thick rock barrier around the drill and caught some sharp rock from touching us.
"Are you all alright?!"
"Yeah… barely." Maria walked back over to me. "We have to hurry."
"Okay, Let's go." I say and everyone gets on the drill while the world below was still rumbling. I walk over to Sonic I sat down beside him to keep a close and then I turn to the others were getting in position to get ready to head back to the surface.
"Cass… please lend the earth benders your healing powers." I ask and Cass sighs and heals Maria and Axel while they start cranking the drill.
"Fuck, I'm already so tired." Maria says and I bite my bottom lip and face.
"This is the last part everyone. All we have to do is get out of here and we are free. Just put all your power into this last one. You can do it."
"She is right. On three…" Silver says, and everyone nods their head and I felt anxious as I looked at Sonic.
"Three!"
The drill jerked with the power of everyone, and we start going through the earth. It shook some of our unconscious friends and I check on them and I see Cream who tied Tails legs to hers so he wouldn't harm it.
"ARGh!" Axel yelled and sweat fell from Marias's face as we traveled.
"Come on!" I yell and we move faster. "You can do it! Just push! Use everything you got!"
"GO! Go! Go!" Silver yelled and more air produced from him, and he continued to push us forward.
"How far are we?" I ask and Maria sweats.
"About…5 minutes." Maria pushes and silver puffs.
"Okay… Let's make it one minute!" Silver squeezes his eyes shut and he pushes us hard and slide back and I hold Sonic still from the tuberlance and then I sense water around us.
Silver falls back on the ground, and I noticed that he passed out and we were on the water. Water started to spill in, and Cass jumps up and creates a bubble, but holds his side as he waves his hand around.
"Okay… we have to go now- "
Maria falls on the ground my eyes widen and then I see Axel stumble and I jump up.
"Axel! Not yet!" I yelled and he shakes his head. "Do it… for everyone please. We have to get out of here so please help us." I say and I felt some of my chi come back and I heal him while he tried to stay awake.
"Okay…. You are right" Axel says, and he exhales and then inhales.
Axel slams his foot down and we start boosting up and we move upwards towards the surface, also while we went up, I could hear the destruction of the liar they created below.
We finally make it to the top and Axel slams his foot once more and he moves us to the shore, and we gently roll on it.
"It's up to you…" I caught Axel before he fell out and I place him gently on the ground and then I look back to Cass who was opening the hatch while looking around.
I walked out too and he looks at me while I stepped off.
"I think we were in the spirit world for a month." He says and I watch something soft like fall from the sky and then I noticed that the ground was a bright white.
Snow.
Snow had covered the land were we stayed and I watch Cass water bend some of the snow away from his foot and then dropped to the ground too and I bend down to him as he held his side.
"Is it the stab wound again- "
Cass had been bleeding for a moment based on how it dripped down his shirt and he winced.
"Cass… why didn't you say anything!" I yell and I rip a piece of his shirt off and I tie around his torso.
Cass looked over my face and he touched my face while looking at the snow falling on my head.
"I… I wanted to see you on the surface too." Cass whispers. "Isn't that what people who love each other would do for each other…Risk their lives for the ones they care about." Cass closes his eyes and lays there while I try to figure out how to stop the bleeding.
"Amelia… I'm going to die. Kiss me" Cass says dramatically, and I frown and my face burns quickly and I slap my hand on his wound and he winces.
Blue flames burn his wound, and he yelps out but then I stop and grab him by his arms, and he stands up.
"You aren't dying! And I'm not kissing you!" I place him the drill and he fall in there with tears in his eyes.
"But I risk my life for… you." Cass passes out from possible blood loss and lack of chi, and I noticed that it was just me in the snow.
It was silent and I watched all my passed-out friends in the drill and then I start to look around.
It was just me.
I shivered slightly and I look at the slightly destroyed drill and I stare back ahead, and I could see a small pointy castle that looked like Asendel.
"So far." I say and I stare afar from it and then I look back the drill.
"I can do this."
I had no chi. No friends. No help to get them the help they needed so I had to get them there. I walk around the drill, and I push on it, and it rocks slightly.
"I can do this." I breathe in and then I push hard on the drill in the snow, and it starts to move but very slowly.
My feet were frozen since I had no shoes on, but every crunch of the snow and every gust of wind slowed me down.
But I could do this.
My legs started to burn and sweat mixed in with the snow and I pushed it with all my strength.
"Come on, Amy. This is what Cosmo trained you for. Tails, Cass, and Sonic both need medical attention and the slower I go… the worse they could get and just because this heavy drill is moving so slow, I won't let that gradual me down from saving them!"
"Push!" I yell and it moves faster from my random energy spike, and I kept with the momentum.
"Come on!" I pant and I pushed hard on the drill, and it starts to run over some big piles of snow.
I stop pushing it and I dig snow out of the way and then we were in motion again. My legs were starting to burn out and I slip on the snow and fall on my back while breathing hard.
"Ugh, fuck." I say and my head starts to spin. I felt dizzy as I stood, and I lean on the drill.
"No, not yet." I say and I remember myself saying that the last time I felt like my body was going to give up on me.
"Please not yet." I whisper and I press my face on the drill.
My feet plop on the snow and I close my eyes as all I could hear was my pounding heart from pushing something so heavy.
"Princesses aren't weak."
My eyes open fast, and I turn my head and I see… Cosmo standing in the snow beside me, and she walks over and places her hands on drill.
"I know. This is tough. But you are stronger. That's how I trained you right?" she smiles, and she starts to help me push the drill and I push it too.
"Keep on going. For your friends. Your mom. And me. This pain and stress. It will all be worth it in the end. Save them."
Cosmo starts to disappear, and I look back at the drill and I noticed that I was jogging slightly. When did I get this boost of energy?
I look back where I saw Cosmo and then I bite my lip and start to push on the drill even more. I grunt and yell as I gave it my all and then I felt my feet become hotter. They steamed the snow and soon Sparks of blue flames came out.
"I have some chi!"
I jump up and I let the blue sparks turn into flames and I jet towards the castle while pushing the drill. I felt it start to go out as soon as it started and but I we soon get on a brown brick pathway.
And my right foot goes out, but the left was still pushing. I push and push until I lose my power again and then I fall flat to the ground, and I watch the drill roll quickly and bump into my gate doors.
My eyes doubled in vision, and I started to hear sirens.
The sirens I heard when I left so long ago to start this journey and then I laid my head down on the cold concrete.
"I'm home… I did it."

Something touches my nose and that wakes me up fast as I look around at the bright colorful meadows of pinks, blues, reds, and yellows. The types of flowers were endless and so was the land that I looked around. The flowers were on me too, so I stood up and let them fall of me and I look at my hands.
It smelled sweet here and I was here before but then I turn my head and I see a tree this time. A huge tree with branches floating with the wind.
I touch it and then the branch extends its branch out me and I carefully touch it while wondering what was going on.
"Welcome." It echoes and I fall and back away from it, but its roots stop me. "Your spirit realm has awoken since you unlocked your fire ability."
"This is your safe realm. Use it whenever you like, Princess Amelia." It says and then it lifts me up higher."
"My name is Apollo and as long as you exist. So does this spirit realm. We will talk again."
…
My eyes open and I look around me fast. Blankets. And my room.
"We made it- "
I sprung to my feet and I ran to my doors.
"Where are they?" I yell and I saw my maid watch me in awe and she tries to touch my arm, but I moved past her.
"Princess, wait!" she runs after me, but I ran down the hall and then to the medical side of the castle.
"Where are they!?" I yelled again and that created some attention from everyone walking out of the kitchen and halls to see me.
"Where are- "
I watch Silver walk out with a bandage on his face and he looked at me.
"Princess… you are- "
I practically tackled Silver and he caught me and laughed. He hugged me back and I felt tears come to my eyes.
"W-where are they?! Everyone… Please t-tell me we all made it." I say and Silver was about to speak but then he pointed towards the medic room.
"Princess… hold on." He grabbed me and I stopped.
"What…. What can't you tell me?" I ask and he started to tear up, but he pulled me from entering.
"Just wait… for the others to appear. Okay?" he says.
"Others? So… so who is still not doing well?"
Silver shook his head, and he took my hand to walk off, but I stopped.
"No….no silver just tell me- "
I see my father behind him with some guards and I watched my dad slowly approach me as Silver turns around to see where I was looking.
"F-Father..."
"Take her to her room." He says and I stand in shock as my royal guards stand around me.
"Hold on. Just a moment."
"Amelia, go to your room." He says and he looked angry and hurt.
"I… I can't have to find the rest of my friends- "
"Guards, take her." He orders and one of my guards touches my arm and I shrug it off.
"Princess please." The woman guard said to me, and I looked her and then back to Silver who was looking sympathetic
"You should probably go." Silver agrees and I let my guard touch me again and motion me away from medic room.
I get escorted all the way back and then they close the door with me inside.
I look around my room and I slowly walk to my dresser and see my crown placed on it. Exactly where I had left it and I rub my fingers through my hair.
"Who was in the hospital still…. Why couldn't silver tell me."
My worries caused me to walk to the window and I look out of it too see my kingdom still the same but covered in snow. I grab the handle and I noticed that it was locked as well and then I turn away from it and sit on my bed.
"I must be grounded or something." I thought to myself and then I heard an unlocking, and my father walks in with Rouge behind him and my heart jumps up but then also in my head I was starting to count down the people who was doing well.
"Who could be in the recovery room still?"
The doors close and my father walks closer with Rouge trailing and I look at Rouge to make sure she was alright but then I look back at my father.
He grabs my crown from my dresser and walks over to me and holds it in my face.
"You think all of this is a joke?" he asks first, and I didn't speak but he starred into my eyes. "You fake an escape to leave the kingdom. Kill Scourge. Befriend the fire kingdom but at the same time you get the prince and some of his loyal subjects to become fugitives from there and then you get kidnaped. Almost killed but you make more friends and find yourself passed out with some of the most wanted criminals. "
I tried to look off, but he dropped my crown on the ground and my eyes were stuck on his again.
"Your mother would be petrified." He says to me, and I nod my head as I take my scolding. "I don't know what else to tell you, Amelia but I am so disappointed in you. If you were planning all of this then why not tell me. You had us looking for all of you for a month. A month of thinking my daughter was dead."
I nod my head and I clench my arm.
"Amelia, you are all I have left." He says and he touches my wrist and gets on a knee to my eye level. "You know that right? You are all I have left and the last bit I have left from the love of my life." He says and tears come to my eyes.
"I knew her fire would run through you but Amelia. My sweet girl. You cannot ever do this again. Never. I thought I lost you."
"I… I know. I am sorry, dad." I say and I wipe my face and he pull me into a hug, and I hug him back. "I'm so sorry. I never meant for it to get this much out of hand. I was going to return but… I… I don't know." I say whipping my face and he leans up with mild tears.
"I'm sorry to everyone." I say.
"You can make a speech to everyone later. But you are grounded and to be watched until further notice." He says and my eyes widen.
"But… but dad- "
"Amelia, you lied to everyone in the kingdom, and this is something so unforgettable. You are going to be watched and monitored. "He says finally. "Rouge is also in the same boat as you. Working with top class criminals and knowing the entire time about your disappearance. I barely got her off the hook from getting demoted of being your second in command."
"I…" I look at Rouge. "I made her do it. It's my fault so- "
"Never less, both of you broke extreme rules and are staying in this kingdom until further notice. I already talked to Rouge, Axel, and Cream. All of you will be monitored and watched."
"Cream and Axel are okay too…. So, it's one of the others… and it if it was Shadow… Silver would not have been so calm, but he was still looking hurt. Who could it be?"
"I have to go tell the kingdom about you. Rouge, check on her vitals and health." He says and leaves and Rouge walks over to me and hugs me and I hug her back.
"Great job for saving us." She says and we both gave each other a weak smile but then I took her hand.
"Is…. Is everyone okay?" I ask and she looked off and rubbed my head.
"No…" Rouge says, and her eyes watered like Silver's, and I grip her hand.
"Silver wouldn't tell me… and I heard all who was alright. Just tell me who Rouge. I can take it."
Rouge looked my hand and she gripped.
"How about we go look?" she says and lifts me up and she held my hand the entire way.
I guess my father wanted me to be healed before I started walking around again and then that's when the next time, I was close the medical room… it was quiet, but I saw that the door was cracked open, and Rouge held my hand tighter.
We walk in together and I saw Silver and Cream was closer to the bed from whoever was on it and then I touched Silver's arm and he looked at us and he rubbed my back and stepped out of the way so I could see who was on the bed.
My eyes shook and I clutched her hand even more while my face became wet with tears.
"Why…"
