Third-Person POV

Insert Song: First Mission (Ant-Man)

"Can't believe I have to be the bait again, for ANOTHER GIANT." Masaomi complained.

Scott put his hand on his shoulders and looked at him with a serious expression, "Look kid, you have no other way of helping out in this plan. It's simple, try not to get crushed by the bear, and Bee Lady shoots me into it so I can take it apart from the inside!"

"Easier said than done, look at that thing!" Masaomi points to the snarling Beast Monokuma, pouncing on a house.

"Okay fair point. I'll take care of it quickly though, so you don't have to worry", Scott stands triumphantly with his chest puffed out, "After all, I'm an Avenger!"

(Short Avengers Leitmotif plays)

"I don't even know what that is!" Masaomi shouts out in exasperation.

It was then that the Beast Monokuma briefly stopped its rampage, slowly beginning to turn around. Scott then shrunk away, leaving the blonde teen to do his part in the plan.

"Shit."

Masaomi just started running as fast as he could, the large Beast Monokuma on all fours chasing him.

From up above, Ponzu has her sights set on it with Scott atop her wrist stingers.

"Are you sure you can do it?" Ponzu asks him with some lingering concern.

"Yeah, it's not like it'll notice that I'm in there. Plus I'm entering from the mouth, instead crawling into the a—"

"Okay firing now." Ponzu shoots her stinger so she doesn't have to hear the rest of that sentence.

"WHOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Scott yells as he soars across Lavaridge.

Ant-Man managed to land on a tooth of the Beast Monokuma, which thankfully wasn't biting down on him. Ponzu flies by Masaomi's side using her bee wings.

"Can't you lead it away from the town?" She asked him.

"With how fast he's gaining on me, I can't just turn around or he'll catch up!" He tells her.

"Fine, then I'll give you a lift." Ponzu proceeded to lift the young teen up by his arms and continued to bait the mega bear robot.

"Ha! Ha! Dang it, I can't hit them!" Michiru's fists just keep going through the two Gengars.

"Keh-heh-heh!" They cackled as they launched Shadow Balls at her.

"Agh!" She dodged one of them, but the other hit her square in the back.

Once again she tries to punch them with her gorilla fist, yet all it does was make a large crater in the ground. Physical strikes can't work against ghost-types after all. The other side of the battlefield a Double Battle was taking place against Agatha herself.

"Sunny Day!" Flannery told her Torkoal.

"Arbok, Glare. (Alolan) Marowak, Boomerang." She commanded and Sapphire's Phado was paralyzed, while Flannery's Torkoal was knocked away by the bone boomerang.

"Tch, as long as that Marowak is there, my team is getting knocked out. Can you take care of it?" Flannery asked Sapphire.

"I gotcha! Hold out for a little while longer Phado! Rollout!" Sapphire commands.

Phado manages to dispel the paralysis and begins to curl up into a ball and roll through both Arbok and Alolan Marowak, making the latter faint.

"Thanks, Saph! Now let's burn it down!"

"Right!"

The two of them let out Chic (Blaziken) and Houndoom, as Agatha just throws out Weezing and Golbat.

"Flamethrower!"

"Overheat!"

The flames hit the Weezing, while the Golbat hid behind it as a shield.

"Y'know for some who focuses on looking spooky, you use more poison-types than ghost-types, lady!" Sapphire critiques the elder woman.

"And you battle like a savage, only focused on overpowering an opponent instead of thinking of strategic actions. Thunder, Air Slash."

Lightning crashed down and Chic barely dodged it, but then got struck with the Air Slash. (And it was today that I learned that Weezing can learn Thunder)

"Oh no, AGH!" Flannery was suddenly taken out from behind.

The two Gengars returned from their battle with Michiru and ended up putting her to sleep. Placing her and Flannery's knocked out bodies next to each other as the Gengars bombarded her Houndoom with Sludge Bombs.

"Give in to despair, child. You're all alone now, no one is coming to save you. Hee hee hee…"

Agatha laughed softly as Sapphire just kept looking down. She lifted her hand up and the two Gengars shifted towards the girl, prepared to put her to sleep as well. It was then that Sapphire looked back up and angrily glared at Agatha.

"I'm never alone, and I don't need savin'. Chic, MEGA EVOLVE!"

Pressing the Key Stone on her Mega Bracelet, Blazikenite given to Chic begins to shine. A large dome of light forms around Chic, glowing brightly until it bursts open. Chic's hair (or hair-like feathers) were spiked up and fire flowed from her wrists like a warrior's bandana in the wind. Chic had become Mega Blaziken!

"BLAST BURN!" Sapphire shouts as Chic charged up and unleashes the ultimate fire-type move.

The ground begins to crumble around Agatha's remaining team members before they are engulfed in a mighty column of fire.

"Ack!" Agatha steps back from the bright burning light with her arm in front of her face, "I knew Mega Evolution was powerful, yet the usage of an ultimate move along with the ongoing Sunny Day is…"

"RAAAAAAAGH!" Sapphire roared as the flames intensified.

"So she did have a strategy…" Agatha's eyes were wide with shock.

Agatha's entire team were charred and fainted and she couldn't be any more frustrated while looking at the one who defeated them. This barbaric, impolite holder of a Pokédex managed to defeat a former Elite Four member.

"I won, now yer gonna tell me what's going on here, old lady!" Sapphire points at her.

"Ha, like I would tell something that important to—"

"GANG WAY!" Ponzu shouted as she and Masaomi flew by and the Giant Beast Monokuma ran in between Agatha and Sapphire.

The monster then fell over and deactivated, its circuitry having been destroyed from the inside.

"Yeah! Great job for keeping it busy, you two!" Scott said as he crawled out of its mouth.

Masaomi panted in exhaustion, "All things considered, wasn't a bad plan on your part, Ponzu. Heh, I guess it was beauty that killed the beast."

"Uh, thanks?" She tilted her head at the joke.

"Ugh… what happened?" Michiru began to wake up along with Flannery.

"Just beat a giant robot, no big deal." Scott stated.

"H-HEY!" Sapphire was looking behind the Beast Monokuma and found that Agatha was gone.

"Where'd she go?!" Ponzu gasped.

The group begins looking around, but then Masaomi spots her a few buildings away with another person.

The man had a black coat with brown fur lining and his hood was over his face.

"It would be a shame if we lost you too early, Lady Agatha, you're still young after all."

Agatha scoffed, "Flattery won't get you anywhere, yet I am thankful. Now why are you here? Aren't you still gathering participants for your—"

"I'm nearly done with that, I just need to make a few changes to my roster and come up with good motives. That's still far off though, I'm here so we don't lose any more important pieces before Monaca and Ultron's final match. It would be unfair if the good guys had too many on their side, wouldn't you agree?" He smirked.

Agatha softly cackled, "Oh I do, yet I still wish I could have dealt with them better. With more time and planning—"

"Which will be given to you now that this mission has failed. One more opportunity to not disappoint the team, Lady Agatha. Let's head back now and face the music after you lost the bug duo."

"... Very well. Open the projector." She tells him.

It was then that a Psycho Cut blade soared past them, launched by Sapphire's Kirly. The hooded man took out a small projector and threw it onto the ground and it grew to normal size.

Scott gasped, "They've got Pym tech?".

Sapphire grit her teeth while she continued to give chase, "Again, Psycho Cut!"

Kirly used the move again, but it was too late. Both Agatha and the man went through the projector portal, and the psychic blade collided with it. It flickered for a bit before turning back on.

"They were too fast, damn it." Ponzu sighed.

"Just who was that with her? An ally of hers? What do you think?" Michiru turns to Masaomi, who is just lost in thought, "Something up?".

"Huh? Oh, sorry. It's just that guy… he seemed scarily familiar." He told her.

"Jeez, and I thought these were only used for showing vacation photos to your friends, but they're portals too?" Scott poked his finger through the projector and pulled it back out.

"Hey, watch it! You might end up losing that finger if you're not careful. We have no idea what's on the other end of it. We'll probably be surrounded by enemies if we go through."

"I'm going in." Sapphire told them.

Ponzu is not having it, "Excuse me? If you go in there, you don't know if you'll be able to go back. Plus, we're the ones who are misplaced and you're already in your correct universe. For what reason do you—"

"Ruby." Sapphire answered.

"What?" Ponzu responded.

Masaomi chuckled, "Ah, looking for the boyfriend, solid reasoning."

"H-H-He's just… ugh! He probably ended up somewhere else if I'm not able to reach him! I have a hunch that he'll need all the help he can get, so I'm going and you can't stop me!" Sapphire puts her hands on her hips as she finishes.

"... Doing it out of love, hm?" Ponzu smiles softly and Sapphire blushes, "Well, I won't stop you. In return allow me to join you, since I kidnapped you on Agatha's orders I owe you."

"I'm willing to help too! These robots will probably end up invading other places, including Anima City! I can't let that happen." Michiru nods her head.

"I've got to get back home to my daughter, but I also can't just let the bad guys run around with their teddy bear army. Count me in." Scott said eagerly.

"Same here, I've got to get home too." Masaomi stepped forward.

"Alright! Let's go right through!" Sapphire jumped into the projector immediately and the others jumped in after them.

With the exception of Masaomi, who still was thinking about that person that was with Agatha.

"It can't be him, can it? It's impossible…" He entered the projector slowly, but he felt a sudden chill moving down his spine.

"Achoo!" Ruby sneezed again.

"There it is again! It is pretty cold, maybe we should have tried to find warmer clothes at that town we passed by." Junko says worriedly.

"Nah, I'm in more of a napping mood than a shopping mood at the moment." Linhardt told her.

Ruby rolled his eyes, "Seems to me like you're always in that kind of mood."

"It's more like 45% is napping, 45% is researching, and 10% is fishing." Lin replied.

"Fishing?" Junko tilts her head at that last part.

Linhardt shrugs, "Just a hobby. Anyways, we've made it. I guess I should welcome you two to Garreg Mach Monastery."

Ruby and Junko's eyes were in amazement at the sight of it all: noble and commoner students roaming about the Officer's Academy, priests on their way to the cathedral, and Knights of Seiros making their way to the training ground.

I'M BACK, PEEPS! HAPPY YEAR OF THE RABBIT! I'm so glad I was able to upload a new chapter, but if it ended up seeming a little rushed then I apologize. It also took so long for it to come out too, so sorry for that too! We've finally reached the end of Chapter 2, and we're getting started with Chapter 3 as soon as I can.
