Hello everyone, and today, it's time for the next Trial.
Before we start, I want to address a few things:
To kyrogue23: Of course I'm doing the New York special. Drake and his friends came from New York, so I thought that I'd do them a favor of having them return to their old stomping grounds. However, that won't happen til after Season 3.
To Tora Lych: As amusing as that sounds, I think I'll just leave the puns, animal or otherwise, to Cat Noir.
Anyway, let's begin!
Entry #59
The Mary Poppins play was a success. Although, it could have gone smoother if Dainn hadn't caused trouble...
Season 2 Opening Intro(Set It Off by Skillet)(I don't own the song)
Opening his eyes, Drake saw that he was once again in his mindscape.
"Time for the next Trial?" Drake asked as he turned around to see Ignitus, Spyro, and Cynder.
"Correct. It's time for the Trial of Blood." Ignitus answered as Spyro and Cynder were absorbed into Drake's wristband, turning him into Dragnarok. Suddenly, a giant stone maze appeared. "Time to put your navigation and problem-solving skills to the test. In this maze are several traps that need clever thinking in order to get pass."
With a small gulp, Dragnarok went in. After coming across a few dead ends, as well as almost triggering a few traps, our draconic hero managed to get to the other side. Seeing the temple ahead of his, Dragnarok entered and was taken to the room with the ten doors.
"The Trial of Blood awaits." Ignitus said as the scarlet door opens, letting out a light of the same color. Going in, the light blinds Dragnarok.
When the light dies down, Dragnarok was in a cavern that had red biomass on the walls, pulsing as if it was alive.
"Gross..." Dragnarok muttered before feeling a tingling sensation in his left wrist. Looking at it, he saw Cynder pop out of the wristband. "Ready for this, Cynder?"
"You bet I am!" The black dragoness said before the two stepped on the glowing pad in front of them. Feeling the energy flowing through them, Dragnarok and Cynder surrounded themselves in a sphere of blood before releasing the blood in the form of constricting veins. Once it was over, droplets of blood floated around the two.
"The circulation of Blood is yours to command." Ignitus said. "Now, get to the end of the Trial."
With a nod, Dragnarok and Cynder headed out. Along the way, they fought against Elemental Crystal Brutes (Scarlet in color), Sabertooths, Mosquitoes, Vultures, Rhu-Barbs, Rhu-Babies and Warlocks, as well as solving puzzles with their new Blood element.
Reaching the end, Dragnarok and Cynder enter an arena that was surrounded with spiky bone-like protrusions. They heard a screech before seeing the Guardian drop down in front of them.
It looked like a cross between a bat and a leech. The body with worm-like and it was covered in fur. A large pair of leathery wings sprouted out of its back. All it had for a face was a sucker-like mouth and two large bat ears. It's hands and feet had razor sharp claws. And in its hands was a bo-staff that had a buzzsaw on each end.
The Guardian screech before charging at Dragnarok and Cynder, only for the two to dodge and counter with spears of solidified blood, which pierces the creature's body. As the Guardian screeches in pain, Dragnarok and Cynder unleash a barrage of blood needles, turning the creature into Swiss cheese, thus, destroying it.
"Congratulations, you've both had mastered the Element of Blood." Ignitus telepathically said as a bright light blinds the two.
Once the light dies down, the two saw that they were outside the temple, with Ignitus and Spyro waiting for them. Cynder goes up to Spyro as Dragnarok turns back into Drake.
"You did great." The purple dragon said as he nuzzles his mate.
"I can't believe that I learned all the elements." Drake said in a proud tone.
"That's... not exactly true..." Ignitus said, getting Drake, Spyro, and Cynder's attention. "There is one more..."
"One more..." Spyro muttered before widening his eyes. "You don't mean-!"
"Yes, that." Ignitus answered. Drake just stared that the dragons in confusion.
"What's going on? What is this element?" He asked.
"This element is something you are nowhere near ready for." Ignitus said in a grave tone. "You will one day learn it, but as of right now it's best of forget about it."
Drake wanted to ask more questions, but the look to Ignitus' face told his to drop it. With a sigh, Drake nodded as he began to return to the waking world.
And that's the Trial of Blood! Hoped you all enjoyed, and I see you next time!
