Sorry for the very long delay, I had laptop issues and life has been crazy but here is a chapter for you all!

Undeath9087: Eh I dunno, I feel like they'd get it. They'd just look at eachother and be like 'Yeah, yeah that tracks.' because they know their dumbass will do everything she possibly can to protect people.
ant-death: Well I do have their meeting planned.
MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior: He will help in time my dear.
Brendiboi63: Well Percy can't get her blender so it would be tragic if it was.
Zephyr0f8: Well you'll hve to wait and see.
Krypton Joy Writes: I mean, he's definitely not an ally.
Hope you're well: Thank you!
Percy knew that voice- that voice was one she'd heard often enough in her less pleasant dreams. It had also been in some of her nicer dreams as well, generally yelling and screaming while she shoved the annoying bastards head into a blender. She didn't swing around wildly- if only because she didn't want to show just how worked up she suddenly was- even as Artemis jumped and whirled around to face the newcomer.
"Well if it isn't my least favorite ghost." Percy ground out before turning her head. And yep, yep there he was in all his infuriating glory. He hadn't changed since the last time she'd seen him, in the aftermath of the battle against Apophis. He was still scrawny, though he was wearing a toga now- at the look she gave him he winked.
"I've gone native, you like it Princess?"
"I'd like it more if I had a blender right now." Percy growled the words and reached out automatically, trying to reach into the Duat to grab her khopesh.
But there was nothing. And of course there was nothing she didn't have her damn magic did she? Curse Alina for that, she was ruining Percy's chance to make him squeal.
"Oooh." Setne's voice was mocking, pitched low. "How scary." he snickered. "You're not still sore about the whole Sea of Chaos thing-"
"Oh what do I have to be sore about?" Percy hissed, voice thick with sarcasm, "The multiple times you tried to kill me and my brother? The time you tried to hand me over to Apophis-" she ignored Artemis' almost frightened little hiss of breath- it was understandable. She imagined that Artemis had heard of the Chaos Serpent, that she knew of the power it held. Or that it had held, though she undoubtedly wasn't aware of the past tense.
"Oh come on princess." Setne wave a hand dismissively, "The past is the past. It's a whole new world."
"Let me guess." Percy glared, "You're the one who's been coming up with all of Alina's plans? A spell to remove the divinity of a Greek god sounds right up your alley."
"You've grown up so much." Setne clutched his chest, "I'm so proud, you know that princess? And you're so smart too. Alina's a smart girl but... angry. Easy to play. As for Kronos, well he'll give me everything I want and then I'll take his place- ah ah ah-" Percy had jerked forward, fist raised but Artemis had intervened, grabbing her and yanking her back- a good thing because she'd have thrown herself into full view of Alina, Atlas and Luke if she had.
"Percy whoever this is he is baiting you." Artemis hissed, "You cannot listen-"
"Listen to the ex-goddess princess." Setne smirked, "I'm sure she knows what's best for you." his voice was mocking.
"Does Kronos know that you're playing him?"
"Oh he suspects." Setne's tone was annoyingly airy, as if he didn't have a care in the world. Which honestly wasn't shocking. He somehow always seemed to come out of pretty much everything just fine. It made Percy want to strangle the life out of him. "But it's not like there's much he can do about it-" he gave a slimy smirk, "He can't kill me. I'm too valuable for that, I know things." something about the way he said that made Percy's eyes narrow. Because yes, yes he did. He knew all about her, and yet Alina hadn't seemed aware of her Greek side. Did that mean he was keeping it a secret for some reason? Biding his time for the most dramatic moment to reveal the truth of her. The thought wasn't a comforting one.
"Things that you haven't told Kronos yet." It wasn't a question, and Setne laughed.
"Princess, you know I'm smarter than that. Telling him too much too quick will make me less useful and I can't allow that now can I? No. I'll tell him more when I'm good and ready." he winked. "After all, the more you weaken one another the better for me in the long run." and he had a point. And he knew that even telling her this she couldn't actually do anything about it, not yet anyway. Kronos had to be stopped, there was no way to avoid or delay the fight between them just because it would give Setne more opportunities.
"If I had my magic-"
"You'd what?" Setne snickered, "Shove my head in a blender? You know that threat's really getting old sweetcheeks-"
"Well I did make a promise." Percy ground out, clenching her fists. "Now what the fuck do you want Setne? Why show yourself now?"
"Because, it's entertaining watching you squirm."
"His kind are worms." Artemis' voice was disdainful, and so was her expression, the slight scrunch of her nose giving that much away easily. "It's best not to try to understand how they think Percy-"
"Rude." Setne poked his tongue out, "Just for that-" he cupped his hands around his mouth- and Percy's eyes widened as, before they could react, he called out; "Yooo hooo! Over here! Two little birdies listening in-" and Percy lunged forward with a snarl, though Setne was gone before Percy could reach him.
She heard Artemis letting out a panicked cry, footsteps rushing after her, but she focused on righting herself.
And fuck Setne, really fuck him. The bastard did know how to play her and she'd made it easy for him hadn't she?
Percy took a deep breath as her gaze focused on their enemies, and Setne was suddenly at Atlas' side, poking his tongue out, and their enemies were staring at them, looking far too smug for Percy's taste.
"I see you've decided to join us." Alina's smile was mocking. "How kind of you."
"I told you to go without me." Luke's expression was stunned as he stared at them, "Why would you come back for me?"
"Because it was the right thing to do." Percy shifted nervously, gripping the dagger tightly as Artemis pressed close to her side- and she could see the monsters, spreading out so that they were blocking any exits.
Correction, most exits, though most people wouldn't consider one of the exits to really be an exit unless they were completely insane and had no choice. Luckily for Luke and Artemis Percy was probably the first, and they didn't have much choice. Besides she was fairly sure that her plan would work. And at least if it didn't they'd be dead so they wouldn't have to deal with those smug bastards expressions.
"You are the girl?" Atlas sneered at her, "I knew Castellan was pathetic but really? I could crush you with my arms tied behind my back-"
"Could you now?" Percy tried to look innocent as she asked that, her grip on the dagger white knuckle now. "Go on then, use some of those fancy chains keeping Apollo tied up and we can go, it'll be nice to have a challenge for once-"
Atlas' laughter cut her off, "You have spirit girl I will admit that. But you aren't worth my effort. You are surrounded, there's no escape. And now you'll be joined in your cell by Castellan, a fitting punishment I'm sure."
"Eh-" Percy held up a hand, holding it out flat and rocking it slightly as if to say 'Eh, maybe' "I mean, you could be right. Or we could be about to make our stunning fantastical escape which will leave you scratching that thick skull of yours and wondering how the fuck you didn't see it coming-"
"Perhaps I'll have some fun with you before locking you up, and with Artemis-" the leer on his face was not pleasant- and she could hear Apollo's strained whisper.
"No-" though he clearly didn't have the strength to say more, he was only just holding up the sky, speaking would probably tip him over the edge Percy realised, pity flooding through her at the desperation in his eyes, the worry for Artemis.
"You know." Percy twirled her dagger, putting on a faux arrogant act, "I knew you reminded me of someone- it's my first step father-" that made Atlas' brows furrow in confusion, "I don't remember him much, we got away from him when I was like, five years old maybe? It was a long time ago but I do remember the comments he made on the last day- he thought kind of like you except, y'know, he was so unfit and stinking that I could probably knock him over by throwing a pillow at him these days." as she spoke she reached out slowly, careful not to let on what she was planning, and after a moment she felt Artemis' hand slipping into her own, fingers curling tightly around hers.
Setne was smirking. He probably knew what she was planning but she didn't think he'd speak up to stop them. No, that wouldn't help him and he was nothing if not self serving.
"You dare compare me to a mortal?" Atlas looked disgusted. And Percy gave a light hearted shrug- pissing him off was possibly a bad idea in the long term, but in the short term it was very satisfying. "What can I say-" She winked, "If the shoe fits- though in this case I'd probably want to give Gabes shoes a bleach bath before you put them on- hey at least you don't stink as much as he did." and he stepped away from Luke, towards them.
"I will make you pay for that insult girl-" and Percy squeezed Artemis' hand and started running, dragging the goddess with her- though Artemis wasn't slow and within seconds she was keeping pace with Percy as Atlas' laughter boomed across the peak of the mountain.
"You think to challenge me!" he started moving towards them, even as Alina yelled for him not to fall for obvious bait.
Just before the Titan reached them Percy swerved, yanking Artemis with her, and out of the reach of Atlas.
He let out an angered yell when he realised what they'd done, and Percy was sure he was turning but she didn't look back to see as they rushed past him.
"What are you doing?!" Alina's voice was shocked as they rushed towards them. And Percy felt a surge of relief when she realised that Alina didn't even have time to cast a spell- all she could do was throw herself backwards- clearly assuming Percy planned on tackling her.
That did exactly what Percy had hoped for. It meant that she released Luke, who swayed at the sudden freedom- but luckily he didn't fall- that would have made things more difficult.
Percy did feel guilty though, when they reached him and she dropped slightly, yanking Artemis down with her so that their joined hands hit him in the stomach before she rose up again, even as he lurched forward over their hands.
She dropped the dagger even as she twisted, and Artemis followed her lead.
And Percy was painfully grateful for the fact that Alina had had Luke close to the edge of the cliff- that was a mistake from her, One Percy was more than willing to take advantage of as they lifted Luke slightly and Percy leapt, pushing all of her strength into her legs even as she and Artemis twisted, arms wrapping around Luke, making sure he didn't slip out of their grip even as their feet left the ground and they almost seemed to fly off the edge of the cliff, Alina's infuriated scream filling the air behind them.
And Percy could feel the air rushing around them, and she closed her eyes.
They were sort of near the sea, it was far below and too far out to hope to jump into it but if there was anywhere there would be water in the air- even just tiny droplets, it was here. And she willed it to push them out as far as possible, and to slow them. The fall was fifty feet. It was the only chance they had.
