Man, the armor Ignitus gave me works like a charm! I can't wait for the next one.
Side note, I'm wondering where to take Kagami out for a date...
Season 2 Opening Intro(Set It Off by Skillet)(I don't own the song)
At Francoise Dupont, Drake was in his fencing gear. Along with him were Kagami and Armand. The three of them were waiting for Adrien. A while later, the blonde model finally arrived in his own fencing suit.
"You sure take your time, Mr Agreste." Armand said as Adrien and Kagami got into position.
"On guard!" Kagmai shouted before she and Adrien began fencing. The blonde model, however, didn't seem to be giving it his all "Predictable. Predictable. Predictable again. Too predictable. Way too predictable."
Drake, while watching the match, had a concern look.
"Something must be up with Adrien... He's usually better than this." He muttered as he continued to watch the match.
Once class was over, the three headed to the locker room.
"Adrien, are you alright?" Drake asked in a concern tone.
"Indeed. I usually enjoy defeating you, but it's no fun when you make it that easy." Kagami added.
"Do you guys ever get the feeling that you're stuck? That no matter what you do, it's the same old story over and over again. That things will never ever change." Adrien asked.
"Adrien, the biggest mistake a fencer can make isn't choosing the wrong technique. It's choosing the wrong target. Change targets." Kagami said before going off to get out of her fencing gear.
"So tell me, what's with you feeling stuck?" Drake asked.
"My love life." Adrien answered as he took a rose out of his bag.
"Ladybug?" Drake asked, starting to get the picture.
"Yeah..." Adrien said with a sad sigh.
"Look man, I have to be honest with you, I don't think it's going to work out between you two." The secret draconic hero said. "I mean, she's a superhero, meaning she can't show you her identity. Plus, there's all the danger Hawk Moth and his akumas bring." Drake then noticed the glum look on Adrien's face. "Listen, I just don't want you to get emotionally hurt in the long run. Maybe find other girl, change targets like Kagami said."
"Thanks man." Adrien said, cheering up a bit. He then handed Drake the rose. "Here, a little something for you to give to Kagami."
"Thank dude, and I hope things get better." Drake said before going over to Kagami. Seeing that she finished packing up, Drake walked over and held up the rose. "A little something for you, my fencing queen."
"Thanks..." Kagami said shying, having a big blush on her face. She then pecks Drake on the cheek, causing him to gain his own blush. "So what's going with Adrien?"
"A personal problem that's not my place to tell." Drake said.
"Well, I hope things get better for him. Along with you, he's my best fencing rival." Kagami said.
"Don't I know it." Drake said, getting a small chuckle from his girlfriend. After sharing a brief kiss, then two headed home.
The next day, Drake was at Francoise Depunt, talking to Marinette.
"I've been wanting to ask Kagami out, but I don't have any ideas on where to take her. Any suggestions?" Drake asked.
Before Marinette could say anything, she bumped into Adrien.
"Marinette! Drake! Perfect timing!" The blonde model said in a happy tone.
"Huh? You think so?" The bluenette asked as she picked up her backpack that she dropped.
"Actually, what I meant was... I need some advice right now. Can we talk?" Adrien asked as he helped Marinette up.
"Uh... absolutely." Marinette said nervously.
"Anything for you, dude." Drake said before the three of them sat down on a nearby bench. "So what do you need to talk about?"
"Okay, well... I'm sorry, this is a bit awkward for me because it's about a girl." Adrien said, getting his friends' attention.
"A girl?" Marinette asked with a slight bit of hope in her voice.
"We're friends, but I've never gotten to know her, at least completely." Adrien explained. "We've just been friends, you know. Until recently."
"'Till recently?" Marinette asked, getting more excited.
"So, you did managed to switch targets..." Drake muttered before taking a candy bar out of his bag and started to munch on it.
"Now I'm starting to see her differently. Has the same thing ever happened to you?" Adrien asked.
"Yes... no. Well, probably. What's she like?" Marinette asked.
"She's special. Very pretty. She's got bright silky hair, deep and mysterious eyes..." Adrien listed
"Do... do I know her?" The bluenette asked.
"Yeah, it's Ombra." Adrien said, causing Marinette to lose her smile while also causing Drake to suddenly choke of his snack. Marinette then begins to picture Ombra laughing evilly, before being snapped out of her imagination by Adrien. "Marinette?"
"Uh...what?" Marinette asked as she returns to the real world. Meanwhile, Drake managed to swallow his food before throwing the rest away, having lost his appetite.
"I was just asking you guys now what you thought I should do about Ombra?" Adrien asked.
"Okay, I have to ask, why are you suddenly interested in Ombra?" Drake asked, with Marinette nodding in agreement.
"Well, when she first introduced herself, I thought she was pretty. When I got to know her a bit more, I started to feel like I might like her more than a friend. I've just never thought about it until recently." Adrien explained.
Drake stared at the blonde model in a studying matter, as if he was trying to peek into his soul for any deception. Drake then heard Marinette mutter something about ice.
"What's was that about ice?" The secret draconic hero asked.
"The ice... rink! Yeah, that's what I said. No better place to break the ice than the ice rink." Marinette said, trying to cover up the fact her was secretly insulting Ombra in anger.
"The ice rink? I think I'd be too shy to go there with her by myself." Adrien said in a sad tone.
"Well, uh, I could come along with you if you'd like." Marinette offered. She then turned to Drake. "And you and Kagami asked come along as well Drake. I mean, you were looking for ideas on where to take Kagami out, you guys can make it a double date."
"Sounds... good." Drake said in a unsure tone.
"You'd do that? That's awesome!" Adrien said as he got up. "I can't wait to go to the ice rink together. Thanks!"
As the model takes off, Drake quickly gets up and follows him.
"Wait a minute!" He shouted.
"What's the matter Drake?" Adrien asked as he stopped.
"Look, I know I encouraged you to find another girl, but I wasn't expecting to asked one of my best friends." Drake said.
"Do you have a problem with me asking Ombra out?" Adrien asked.
"No. It's just... Ombra and I known each other since Kindergarten, and she is a sister to me, all but in blood." Drake said before letting out a sigh. "I just don't want her to get hurt is all."
Adrien, seeing were Drake was going, gave a understanding nod.
"You don't have to worry Drake. I'll be sure to make Ombra happy." The model said before extending his hand. "You have my word."
Drake, seeing the sincerity, grabs Adrien's extended hand.
"And you have my blessing." He said as the two shook hands. When the shaking stopped, instead of letting go, Drake tightened his grip, pulled Adrien closer, and whispered into his ear. "If you do end up hurting her, I'm make sure you'll no longer be model material."
Backing up, Adrien gave a fearful nod.
"Good. See you at the ice rink." Drake said before taking off, leaving a slightly scared Adrien.
Later that day, Drake, Kagami, Adrien, Ombra, Marinette, and Luka, who Marinette invited to come along, arrived at the Ice Rink.
"It was really cool of you to bring Luka, Marinette." Adrien said as everyone got their ice skates on.
"Of course. That's what friends are for." Marinette said.
"I don't know what to do about Ombra. Should I offer to hold her hand?" Adrien asked, getting a bitter look from the bluenette.
"You have to let her fall." She muttered, only for the blonde model to hear it slightly.
"Huh?" He asked.
"No, what I actually meant was that you cannot let her fall in any way. I mean, do whatever you can so that she doesn't fall." Marinette said nervously before standing out. "So yeah, grab ahold of her hand and take her onto the ice and then..."
She then falls over, only to be caught by Luka.
"Try to be natural. Go with the flow and listen to the rhythm. Just follow my lead." The rocker said before taking Marinette onto the rink.
"Don't be scared. I won't tell anyone." Ombra said as she approaches Adrien.
"About what?" Adrien asked.
"That you don't know how to tie your laces." Ombra said before the laces of Adrien's skates. "C'mon." She then takes him onto the rink.
Meanwhile, with Drake and Kagami, who were already on the rink, were skating with surprising skill.
"I didn't know you could skate." Kagami said, slightly amazed by his skill.
"I could say the same thing." Drake said while thinking back to the time he used his Ice Element to practice. "You have what it takes to be a champion. The style. The talent."
"I only practice noble arts like archery or fencing. Ice skating's just for fun." Kagami said. That's when Philippe, the ice rink's owner, skates up to them.
"Are you Drake Firstbourne?" He asked, getting a nod from the young man. "I can see it now. Grace and style model, and professional ice skating champion. If you take lessons with me, I'll have you shining like the candles on a birthday cake."
"Ah..." Was all Drake could say before being grabbed Kagami.
"He already does fencing with me." She said before taking Drake away. The secret draconic hero was about say something, only to see Marinette staking into a wall and fall flat on her butt.
"Ouch..." He muttered as he, Kagami, Ombra, Adrien, and Luka skated up to her.
"Get up!" Kagami said as she help Marinette up. She then whispered into her ear. "The only reason you can't stay on your feet is your hesitation. I never hesitate." She turns to Drake. "Shall we go?"
With a nod, the two got off the rink, took off their skates and headed to the exit, only to stop when a voice spoke up.
"Wait for me!" Thuring around, the pair saw that it was Ombra.
"Ombra? I thought you would be with Adrien?" Drake asked.
"Well, he want to stay to check on Marinette." Ombra said with a shrug.
"Anyway, what was it like to skate with the famous Adrien Agreste?" Drake asked in a amused tone.
"It was weird at first, but then I started to like it." Ombra said, getting surprised looks from the pair. Before they could say anything else. Ice began to form in the building. "What the-?"
"Looks like Hawk Moth made another akuma." Drake said before widening his eyes. "Marinette, Adrien, and Luka are still in there!"
"What do we do?" Kagami asked.
"Look, you girls get to safety, I'll try to get the other out of here." Drake said before leaning over to Ombra and whispers in her ear. "Once Kagami is safe, phone the others and give them these." Drake then slips four potions, that he gotten from Fu earlier, into Ombra's pocket.
With a nod, the two girls ran out of the rink while Drake took cover in a nearby supply closet.
"Looks like I need to turn up the heat." Drake said as he let Spyro and Cynder out.
"Tell me about it." Spyro said.
"I can feel the chill already." Cynder said as she shivers for a bit.
"Transform Me!" Once Spyro and Cynder were absorbed into his wristbands, Drake let's out a roar as he turns into Dragnarok. "Unleash the Dragon!"
Meanwhile, after having put Kagami in a safe place, Ombra was behind the ice rink, waiting for Brandish, Ingrid, and Maven. After a while of waiting, they arrived.
"We came as soon as we can." Brandish said as he, Ingrid, and Maven ran up to Ombra. "So... How was your date?"
"Now is not the time!" Ombra said with a small glare before taking out the potions. "Here, Drake gave me this to help us in battle."
"Cool, another power-up." Maven said as their Kwamis flew out and grabbed the potions.
"Bottoms up!" They shouted before chugging down the potions.
"Freeze Spinni!" The powered up Spinni shouted with icicles coming out of her spines.
"Caww Chill!" The powered up Caww shouted with icicles coming out of his wings.
"Cheww Cold!" The powered up Cheww shouted with icicles coming out of his fins.
"Polar Berry!" The powered up Berry shouted with icicles coming out of his forehead as well as having his fur turn white.
"Cheww Cold, Teeth Out!" Ingrid shouted before turning into Siorc, but with ice forming around her fins, legs and tail. "Ice-Siorc!"
"Polar Berry, Paws Up!" Maven shouted before turning into Grizzly, but his suit is now white and had ice forming around his wrists and his head. "Ice-Grizzly!"
"Caww Chill, Sky High!" Brandish shouted before turning into Swallow, but with ice forming around his arms, legs, and chest. "Ice-Shallow!"
"Freeze Spinni, Spines Out!" Ombra shouted before turning into Echidna, but with ice forming around her arms and legs, as well as small icicles jetting out of her back "Ice-Echidna!"
"Alright guys, let's go!" Ice-Echinda said the four went into the Eiffel Tower.
The group met up on their way to the frozen tower.
"Cat Noir. We need to set up a trap for whoever turned the city into a giant ice rink." Ice-Ladybug said, as she and Cat Noir also had a ice power-up.
"My feline instincts prefer to track and observe before I attack. You go your way, I'll go mine." The feline hero said bitterly.
"Please don't tell me you're mad at me about the rose." Ice-Ladybug asked.
"There may be a certain chill now between us." Ice-Cat Noir said.
Meanwhile, Team Draconic watched the banter feeling awkward.
"I get it, but we should really focus on saving Paris right now." Ice-Ladybug said.
"We don't always have to do everything together, after all. It's not like we're a couple." Ice-Cat Noir said.
"Cat Noir, don't get all pouty on me!" Ice-Ladybug said sternly.
"Okay, I have no idea on what's going on, but can you two deal with it after we stop the akuma!" Ice-Echidna shouted.
That's when Frozer appears and tries to sneak up on Ice-Ladybug, only for Ice-Cat Noir to spot him and pull the spotted hero out of the villain's reach.
"Thanks, Kitty." Ice-ladybug said, having the feline hero wink at her.
That's when Frozer started to stake around the heroes and shoot icicles at them.
"He's too fast! I'm positive the akuma's in his skates!" Ice-Ladybug shouted while she and the others dodged the barrage of icicles.
"Then l'm turning up the heat!" Dragnarok shouted before punching the ground with a flaming fist, melting the ice around them. This also causes Frozer to fall flat on his face.
"My beautiful ice rink!" The villain shouted in despair before glaring at Dragnarok. "Why you...!"
"What can I say? I'm all fired up!" the draconic hero said with a smirk.
That's when a Odonata flies in and lands on Frozer's skates.
"Hello Frozer, I am Damselfly. And I bestow upon you the power to create powerful blizzards." Damselfly said.
"Thank you, Damselfly." Frozer said before sending out a blast of cold wind at the heroes, sending them flying.
The only who was still standing was Dragnarok, who was doing his best to fight against the howling wind. On small step at a time, Dragnarok got closer and closer before finally getting in front of the villain and grabbing his wrists.
"Now let's really turn up the heat!" He shouted before performing the Fire Fury, completely melting the ice around them and destroying Frozer's skates, releasing the akuma. Dragnarok, with flames dancing off his body looked at Ice-Ladybug, as she and the other recovered from the sudden blizzard attack. "Get... Akuma..."
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ice-Ladybug said before throwing her yo-yo, capturing the akuma. "Gotcha!" She then releases the now purify butterfly. "Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" Ice-Ladybug throws her yo-yo into the air, returning everything back to normal. Frozer then turns back into Philippe.
"Wh- Huh?" The former villain said, looking around confused.
"Pound it!" Ice-Ladybug and Ice-Cat Noir fist-bumped while Team Draconic had a five-way high five.
"You smashed through my plans like an icebreaker, Ladybug. But revenge is a dish best served cold." Hawk Moth shouted in anger.
"You and the others will freeze before our might." Damselfly said as the window closes.
At the Firstbourne's house, in Drake's room, Team Draconic were having some hot chocolate.
"Man, that was a chilling experience." Brandish said.
"Tell me about it." Ingrid said while Maven was chugging his hot chocolate down.
"Still, another win for us and another lost for Hawk Moth." Drake said before raising his hot chocolate up. "Cheers!"
"Cheers!" The others shouted as Team Draconic tap their mugs together before chugging down their drinks.
And that's that.
Okay, I'll be honest, this episode isn't one of my favorites. It isn't bad, but it is one of the weaker ones. The fight was short, the new power-up appears out of nowhere, and the villain really didn't get much time to shine.
And for those who are wondering why Adrien became interested in Ombra all of a sudden, I'll explain that.
You see, the actual episode seems to have the main duo interact with their secondary love interests. Luka for Marinette, and Kagami for Adrien. However, since Kagami is dating Drake in this story, I needed to get Adrien a different secondary love interest, which is Ombra. Sorry for the lack of build up, but this slipped my mind until I started work on this chapter.
