The itsy, bitsy spider... got burned by the big dragon. Hello everyone, and today, Dragnarok will be facing off against Anansi! Not only that, but a new, canon hero will also be appearing.
Also, Happy Valentines Day!
Before we start, I want to address a few things:
Haxorus knight: No, there won't be a OC villain like that, and are you thinking too far ahead?
Anyway, let's begin.
Entry #67
The last akuma made my team go AWOL. Well, that'll never happen again, as I do my best to make sure nothing happens to them... I hope.
Season 2 Opening Intro(Set It Off by Skillet)(I don't own the song)
In his room, Drake was playing with a ball of water in his hands, changing it's size in boredom. He seemed out of it today, something that Spyro and Cynder seemed to noticed.
"Is something the matter, Drake?" Cynder asked as she and Spyro sat on their friend's shoulders.
"I don't know... I guess the incident with Reverser causing my team to up and leave just gets to me for some reason." Drake said before sighing. "I'm starting to think that giving them the Miraculouses was a bad idea."
"What do you mean?" Spyro asked.
"I basically thrown them into the line of danger." Drake explained.
"With Hawk Moth and Damselfly around, everyone is in the line of danger." Cynder said.
"Plus, they left because the akuma made them." Spyro added.
"I am aware of that, but what if something far worse might happen to them?" Drake asked.
"I'm sure they'll be prepared for anything." Cynder said. However, that didn't reassure Drake at all.
"There'll be something that they'll not be ready for." The secret draconic hero countered.
"Look Drake, they're your friends and will always have your back, no matter what." Spyro said.
"I know, but..." Drake said before once again sighing. "I think I need to get out for a bit."
"As Drake or Dragnarok?" Spyro asked.
"Take a guess. Transform Me!" Once Spyro and Cynder were absorbed into his wristbands, Drake let's out a roar as he turns into Dragnarok. "Unleash the Dragon!" Dragnarok opened his window and takes off.
Arriving at the Place de la Concorde, Dragnarok landed on one of the Ferris wheel's cabins, sits down, and begins to ponder.
"Perhaps I should take the Miraculouses back..." The draconic hero muttered, so deep in thought, he didn't noticed the fireworks in the background.
-Maybe you should talk to the team, see what they feel.- Spyro suggested.
~Yeah, you can't just take the Miraculouses back for no reason.~ Cynder added.
Before Dragnarok could say anything, the Ferris wheel suddenly stops. Getting up onto his feet, the draconic hero saw Anansi webbing up the wheel's center.
"Over there! A supervillain!" Marinette shouted, as it turns out the cabin that Dragnarok was on had Marinette, Alya, and Nino in it.
"Uh, may-maybe you shouldn't film her, Alya. You don't wanna attract her over here." Nino stammered in a terrified tone.
"A new scoop for the Ladyblog. Ladybug and Cat Noir should be showing up any minute." Alya said as she whips her phone out.
"What about me?" Dragnarok asked as he peers into the cabin, surprising the three.
"When did you get here?" Marinette asked.
"I was flying in the neighborhood and I just so happened to noticed our creepy-crawly friend here." Dragnarok said. "Now stay in here. I'll deal with this." The draconic hero then flies up to the villain. "Hey, web-head!"
"Ah, you must be Dragnarok." Anansi said as she examines the hero. "You make this world too dangerous!"
"I make the world dangerous?!" Dragnarok said in shock. "Look who's talking! You're practically putting people's lives at risk!"
"Why you..." The villain growled before firing her webs at the draconic hero, wrapping his wings up.
"Uh oh..." Dragnarok muttered before falling with a scream. Luckily, he land on a nearby cabin.
Meanwhile, Anansi climbs up to the window of Marinette, Alya, and Nino's cabin.
"Well, well. There you are, fly-weights." She said. The three inside recognized her voice.
"Nora?!" They shouted.
"Nora's not here to protect you anymore. I am Anansi, super-spider." The villain said before she removed the cabin from the Ferris wheel and takes it to the ground.
That's when Cat Noir appears.
"All those arms, that's convenient, but you destroyed my scratching post." He said.
"Need a hand, kitty cat?" Anansi taunted before she began to fight the feline hero.
Meanwhile, Dragnarok managed to burn away his web bindings. He then looks down at Cat Noir and Anansi fighting.
"You're no match for me, kitten." The villain said as she grabs the feline hero's ankle and throws him at the Ferris wheel's center, causing it to violently shake. "Go fetch the Ferris wheel."
The wheel then detaches from it's holdings and begins to roll away. Luckily, Dragnarok got off before the wheel started rolling.
Anansi then goes to the trio, who exited the cabin, and grabs Alya.
"Now that you can't cheat anymore, cappie, show us just how you plan to protect your friends." The villain said, looking at Nino in a taunting matter before jumping onto the Obelispue de Louxor. "Come and get her if you're not a fly-weight!" And with that, she takes off.
"This just isn't my day..." Dragnarok muttered before following Anansi in pursuit.
As Dragnarok followed Anansi, he noticed the rest of Team Draconic catching up to him.
"When did you guys get here?" Dragnarok asked.
"We were close by and saw what happened." Swallow explained as he flew next to the draconic hero.
"Now let's web-slinger!" Grizzly shouted.
"I... think I should handle this one on my own." Dragnarok said, causing his teammates to suddenly stop.
"What?!" They shouted in disbelieve.
"What happened with Reverser got me thinking that... You guys shouldn't have the Miraculouses." Dragnarok explained.
"...This is about us getting reversed, isn't it?" Echidna asked, getting nod from the draconic hero. "Listen, what happened does change anything. We always have your back."
"We're aware of the dangers and are ready to take any of them on." Swallow said.
"We would never voluntarily abandon you." Siorc said.
"We're a team, and most importantly, you are our friend." Grizzly said.
Dragnarok just smiled.
"Thanks." He said. "Now lets go catch us a spider."
And with that, Team Draconic continue the pursuit.
Arriving at the Arc dc Triomphe, Team Draconic saw Cat Noir and Alya in Anansi's web.
"Hurry up, Ladybug." The feline hero muttered.
"Who needs Ladybug when you have Team Draconic!" Dragnarok shouted, getting the villains attention.
"Looks like the lizard has brought some friends." Anansi taunted.
"In case you haven't noticed, it's one-to-five, putting you at a disadvantage." Echidna stated.
Anansi just growled, seeing that Echidna was right. That's when a Odonata flies in and lands on Anansi's helmet.
"Hello Anansi, I am Damselfly. I bestow upon you minions to even the odds." Damselfly said.
"Thank you, Damselfly." Anansi said as four green flashes appeared, reveal four humanoid spiders. "Get them my pets!"
The spiders began to attack, with Echidna, Swallow, Siorc, and Grizzly facing one each.
"We'll handle these guys, go get Anansi!" Siorc shouted, getting a nod from Dragnarok before he faced the villain.
"It's just you and me, lizard." Anansi said before firing a blob of webs, only for Dragnarok to burn them to a crisp.
"Is that the best you could do?" The draconic hero taunted, causing the villain to yell in anger before changing in a blind rage. Using Dragon Time, Dragnarok each blow with ease. "Come on, I'm not even breaking a sweat here!"
"Hey, six-hands! Catch this!" A voice spoke up as green shield was thrown at Anansi, who dodged. Following where the shield was thrown, Dragnarok and Anansi saw Ladybug and Carapace.
"Change of pet? You replaced your kitty with a turtle?" Anansi taunted.
"Huh. So that's Wayzz's Miraculous in action." Dragnarok said, getting everyone's attention.
"Wait... You know Carapace's Kwami?" Ladybug asked.
"Yeah, I've met him and the Guardian." Dragnarok said, shocking Ladybug and Cat Noir. He then faces Carapace. "So you weapon is a shield, huh? To be honest, I was expecting either katanas, sais, numchucks, or a bo-staff."
"Wait, hold on... What Guardian?" Swallow asked as he and the rest of Team Draconic stopped their fights with the humanoid spiders, who seem just as confused as them.
"I'll tell you later" Dragnarok said before facing the webbed up captives. "Anyway, let's wrap this up, shall we?"
Dragnarok then throws a huge fireball at the webbing that was holding Cat Noir and Alya. However, the blast also weakened the Arc's pillars, causing the whole thing to start crumbling.
"It's all up to you, Captain Turtle." Ladybug said as Dragnarok and Swallow catch Cat Noir and Alya while a heavy stone lands on Anansi's leg, pinning her in place. "Use your power now!"
At your service, dude— Uh, Ladybug." Carapace said before holding up his shield. "Shellter!"
A green orb surrounds the heroes, protecting them from falling stones. Once the Arc collapses completely, the orb dispels.
"You're not really replacing me with a turtle, are you?" Cat Noir asked in a joking tone as Anansi dug herself out of the rubble.
"Not now, kitty." Ladybug said as Dragnarok walks up to Anansi and grabs her helmet.
"Let's finish this." He said before tearing the helmet in half, releasing the Akuma. "You know what to do, Ladybug."
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug said before throwing her yo-yo, capturing the akuma. "Gotcha!" She then releases the now purify butterfly. "Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug throws her yo-yo into the air, returning everything back to normal. Anansi then turns back into Nora.
"The Beetle and Mister Whiskers? What's going on here?" Nora asked when she noticed the duo. They were about fist-bump, but Cat Noir's Miraculous started to beep.
"Uh, sorry, guys, but I've gotta split." He said before he was about to take off.
"Cat Noir!" Ladybug shouted, getting Cat Noir to stop. "You know you're irreplaceable."
Cat Noir smiled at her before taking off.
"Pound it!" Ladybug and Carapace fist-bumped while Team Draconic had their five-way high-five.
"Whoa, this is a first for the Ladyblog. A brand new superhero! What's your name?" Alya asked as she held her phone up.
"Uh… Huh… Carapace. Call me Carapace." The green hero said in a nervous tone.
"Well, welcome to the hero business." Dragnarok said as he shook Carapace's hand.
"You're gaining more allies, Ladybug, but don't rush to rejoice. Soon you might just be outnumbered." Hawk Moth shouted.
"Yes. We've got a big surprise for you and your friends." Damselfly said befotr the two began to laugh as the window closes.
At Drake's house, the team was discussing on what went on today.
"So you're telling us that you've met the guy who gave Ladybug and Cat Noir their Miraculouses?" Brandish asked.
"Yep, and he's currently keep the rest of the Miraculouses safe." Drake said.
"Do you think we'll ever meet him?" Maven asked.
"Maybe some other time." Drake said. "I also want to say that I'm sorry for doubting you guys.
"Don't sweat it, you were just looking out for us." Ombra said.
"Like a good friend should." Ingrid added.
Drake just smiled.
And that's that.
Sorry if it seemed like Carapace didn't get enough screen time in his debut chapter, but I want to focus on Drake/Dragnarok's second thoughts on giving his friends the Miraculouses, and Carapace kind of took the backseat.
Don't worry, he'll get more time to shine next time he appears.
